[Music] hello and welcome to the best damn sports network on channel 22 ex coach Tom Donovan alongside Alex so Luke over here at the Henry catalog field house in Beverly Massachusetts I'm still getting over the flu you're gonna have to excuse this nasal Ray Romano type voice but we have a great game tonight two already clinching playoff teams Beverly ten and five hosting the ten and six Peabody Tanner's in Beverly losing their last game it was to Medford on Tuesday 58 to 38 to tough loss for the Panthers well I told Carol kudos tonight Alice I'm glad I didn't take that right out the medicine I asked him what happened and he said just one of those nights you know what whatever could go wrong went wrong that night yep but you don't you put
it now you see that on your screen there that last loss at Medford in Beverly this season is struggle against division 1 teams 1 in for the only win was against Malden they lost to Medford ever in Glasgow and English d1 teams tonight another d1 flow as well he budding after starting the season for five they've since switched it around and are now five and one in their last six well those four teams they lost to a very good team English with only one loss every with only one loss class photos of them other but that they'll go goes tough tough teams and here we have senior night for the Panthers five seniors on this team all five will be starting tonight you have Matt rotting in Luigi drain their captain's right now you see
Jared McCormack he has a great kid II work my basketball camp this past summer was a camper who solved for junga we have Clark Marsh and as well he's a great kid great season on the football field he what a terrific season out you know 3a he had a great three-year career Ella's mom and dad dad Dan great kid I also understand coach calculus is gonna be starting off I seniors tonight which i think is a nice gesture in his life kudos the Matt Carrick Otis jog good wouldn't help John going another young man who worked I can't the past summer was a nuts camp of four years I think he came to my camp about seven or eight years great kid can you see Mike Roland's out there taking the pictures during senior right
he's always at events for Beverly take Mike there's a tour Alania Rogers Mike there's a great job congratulations Mike got a job that you do I know the kids really appreciate everything you do keep it up two captains on this team he comes his mum and dad mommy knows mo who's known his dad Glenn who played baseball for me was a terrific athlete and she was unbelievable she went to UMass Amherst and land a full scholarship so you talk about great athletic bloodlines and his older brother as well Jordie she already was a great athlete to luigi terrain another captain on this Beverly team not Ronny also worked my cancers past summer you see Luigi now who came McCann for both I think a hundred years great kid that's I'm the great senior glad to
see him go out bang let's hope he lights it up tonight you don't senior night you seen the back on Duncan Mullins mama have caught with her dad common you said it they're gonna start those five seniors right now they're taking a early group picture down underneath the hoop we're gonna get started momentarily after some starting lineups but the Panthers like you said they're gonna start all five seniors you like that Jess you said it's something you always did when you're coaching I like that idea we was the kids that come to practice every day and work on no matter what and these kids I'll tell you the three kids who haven't play that much they their attitude has just went beyond fantastic Alice I can't give enough credit for that we have these starters
for the PVD Tanner's five starters for maybe canopy of Marcus Baker Jake Gustin Avion Hernandez Jacob Irvine in Chris Cannella Cannella the only junior out of the starting five then this played very well as of late as I said five to one in the last six games in Canela a couple weeks back I think it's good like 28 are their first dirty pointing yeah I mean I'll just team one off I mean you talked about having a night so let's hope he doesn't have another one like that one tonight now the bell we see is getting introduced momma Gamache in making the first tie and good one mimic and then first out of the year yeah make Chinese favorite player losing terrain rhotic how long you think thinking how many minutes you think they get
started of the game couple minutes couple minutes now we're gonna head down to the floor for the national anthem in the presentation of the colors by the Beverly high school ROTC but waiting here Alex you know usually senior night they usually do it to last regular season home game which is next Tuesday but they decide they want to do it tonight being a Friday night being a Friday night they forget a little bit of a crowd and Peavy is a little bit more of a rival rivalry than Rivera's [Music] but get under way here at the Henry Cavill launch Fieldhouse and it's a big game for Beverly obviously you have that one in full record against d1 opponents they've all been great but what I'm looking at here is the division to north playoff seeding
right now Beverly right now sitting at 4th at 10 and 5 but if you look at spots 2 through 7 you have six teams that are either 11 and 4 10 and 5 or 11 and 6 this is a big win for Beverly in terms of seeding especially they want to have home court advantage throughout the majority of the playoffs and like you mentioned earlier 2pv is in so both teams are in it looks like they're gonna give the both teams about another 3 minutes you know because I've been standing around with the introductions of the senior night so that's a good idea go on get loose again so while we're waiting for that let's talk about ok now speaking of PVD we should this should be a great game going on over in PV
tonight between the belly girls and Peavy girls yes belly girls need one more win we're gonna get some up-to-date scores as the game goes along I understand that game is just started and bellies up real quick 6 to 2 Moreland has half that points three that's a real surprise terrific yeah she's uh she's unbelievable she's gonna be a factor though to be reckoned with down the road but anyways that should be a good game we'll keep you up to date as the school's come in over in Peavy and like Alex like you mentioned Peavy boys are in they won the right to get into both teams and ran up but again this is a now you're looking to get as highest ceiling and the big thing is trying to get a home game the home
court is so big in the state tournament so definitely wpv we looking couple more wins to try and get a home game looking at this Peabody squad is well not a lot of height not a lot of size a lot of guards on that team their tallest player number 20 is wearing a practice shirt right now as you can see going up for the dunk his offensive ability is lacking very much after watching him in that JV game I don't know if he's even gonna play because he played the majority of that JV games I don't think he'll be a factor at all I think Beverly's length will really come into play here especially Davies getting more minutes as the week's go on well I mean I'm licking a vine from last year he had
a pretty good game here against Beverly and so him canal like they've got two kids to watch the outside but again this should be a good ball game the winding down the clock we get less than 40 seconds to stop both teams have gone to the bench they're gonna get their final instructions from their coaches and we'll be getting underway in about a minute who do you think takes the tip you don't have Crowley out there okay I'm gonna go with Ma Sheehan you are you know oh I don't want to bet against something I'm gonna go with good one though okay I'm going good one how much you want to wager on this bag okay a Milky Way Milky Way oh well you already ate yours my wife's home watch and listen this no
list I'm sorry I know I just it was a fake no thank you it was it just looked like a milky way's you can do so many versatile things with tofu such a great food yeah good nice carp coming in I see all the regulars here already Freddie Spock la Dave Canterbury no Jazz McKenna part of the reg was already here Rick iam Bobo forest down below here well looks like we're both wrong Luigi terrain gonna take the tip oh the Panthers you know we didn't think about the the Regulus to the regulars not yeah yeah that wouldn't make sense I didn't do a good job looking at the bench before we know cuz Luigi's aren't like you know he's gonna pretty good job rebound on all yes he has you know for God he's
done a nice job that game against Everett the last one that we saw at home he had seven points in that fourth quarter to keep them afloat down the stretch [Applause] [Music] okay already underway Hernandez verse terrain it's won by the Panthers rodding comes away that we're gonna start this one okay people you looks like they're starting off in a 1 to 2 or a 3 to zone so that was gonna look to try and break this with some outside shootin Marshawn gets it to terrain in the corner now it's good win the rain likes to take her early shots to get himself rolling especially from that distance couldn't get it to go offensive board running back to the hands of terrain trotting drives baseline Marshawn said the way it was Cannella with the block
mentally blowing at the basket even par we now go to a 2-3 zone which is exactly what they're doing rotting the inbound it they have a stack come on Sean in the corner Goodwin Matea good ones a good outside shooter he should be looking for the hoop there a shot or no good will go and go laughs good house all by John Portland three terrain no good over 3 from the field to start this wily ball in [Applause] another stack here gonna get a new 30-second clock I think yep they just reset it rotting to inbound it delaying going on the far corner looking for him couldn't get open it's Marshawn back out turn over Hernandez with the ball now slows it down drops it off three from Hernandez no good offensive board for the
Tanners he'll get a fresh 30 [Applause] beauties first possession of the game really yeah after a few offensive boards from the Panthers view finally getting a chance with the ball three off the mark rebound Marshawn nice to be by my clock a little rowdy [Music] [Applause] slow start to this game for the Panthers understandable with three subs in the start rotting for a three high bounce no good another offensive board that's terrain drops it down to March Shawn posts up good one with the jumper no good but McCormick grabs an offensive pork well I fellas do a nice job on the poets you got about five offensive rebounds already Rodney's gonna settle things mid-range J is I did this the cover on that room that ball just won't drop senior Knights a senior prank you're
gonna file here on pebbly check to see who that's on this minute files are gonna be on mocchi and that's his first team in the first on the team corner three from Hernandez no good rebound off ball T's are off this shooting is close the weather outside can be called out of barrels and is 548 I left to go on the first nope no a squirrel or two minutes into the game already okay people you look like a little half-court trap here belly breaks it with no problem again good ones go put the hoop now when he gets the ball in my hand to my shins getting the ball and he's looking to pass it deep three from the rain off the mark Oh for 4 from the field so far is Louie not even
close Canella trying to drive got to get a foul I believe on Goodwin do we John Goins first foul second on the team [Applause] Irvine to inbound for the Tanners by the way Peavey's coached by Thad Broughton who's a few thousand points go off over st. Mary's and Len they won back-to-back state champion chips with Matt Carroll kudos also on that team so Matt and Thad the best of friends they're coaching against each other tonight for bragging rights I'm assuming you got it it's a good play there by Gus and with the contact and a hand all over the ball to get it to go and somebody's finally on the boy okay Peavy learning a full-court press here they make a steal off it Cannella de Gustin more contact with rotting to more porous for
gusting I say you gonna come probably with the stylus not because they've been in there for three minutes and I think that they haven't turned over that was McCormack they had a little trouble with the press so I don't think care of course is gonna wait too long here I think care Cooter's wants to get one of them a bucket I think that's my feeling I have no reason to believe that but it's the only thing I can really think of right now like you said three and a half minutes offense has not been clicking the press is really starting to get well they're not not just looking they're not even close yeah some will show I'm trying to be nice y'all try oh yeah no no listen it's it that's that's expected you know
they haven't get much [Applause] so after the first quarter in Peabody the Beverly girls leading 16 7 I'm gonna have those updates for you all night as Beverly girls just need one more win to qualify for the state tournament good win for three and get in there John just off the mark you gotta try to chase down the offensive boards shot by John I mentioned earlier John's a good outside shooter and we're gonna get the stylus coming right now at this buzzer right here I believe Goodwin just picked up his second foul on the loose ball and we're gonna get Crowley Moreland and Abreu in standing ovations from the Beverly fan squad for Goodwin McCormick and Marshawn well deserved good job guys all right we got a four nothing game just reach the four-minute mark
left in the first quarter three from the corner in and out board abreu he's already pushing he's got Crowley with him he's gonna try to keep it himself in a foul leave that foul is gonna go on Barker excuse me no that's on Irvine I think it's first the team first down low to Crowley always passed down below ball on camp bringing it home in derails any belong to off the mark offensive board Melanie Bob hood they're really long in a brave with his floater gets to go so Beverly finally on the board after eight offensive rebounds in this order all right four to 3:30 to go in the first quarter he should just joined us and I really think this Beverly we've talked about a team not with a lot of height they do
have length I think it's gonna be Crowley in Moreland and Davies that are gonna feast tonight on Tanner's ray hit nice shot by one her vines first bucket 72 lead for the Tanners Peavy staying in that press that we should break this they've had a good success against the press oh that's a nice job too while he was at college oh yeah there's a great pass McCauley I'll tell you the belly has really had no problem breaking presses even every it's good it presses they got ever to quit on ever took off his he's gonna try to go coast-to-coast Oh claw at one hand I know you don't like it you're old school oh if you notice the ball almost rolled off his end he almost lost it is that one hand terrain is first
by no calicos has talked to him I've talked to him 1 for 6 from the field is the rain tonight finally got one to go a three from Cannella he lets the BHS fan squad knowing the shake of his head 10 6 lead for the Tanners peabody with two made three-point field goals Beverly so far with none rotting down low to Moreland easy body for the 210 a ballgame Gustin guarded by a brave takes the pick sent away that's Ascanio Crowley block could it could have a neither one with the sky he was coming from behind but the alley was right that deals Crowley looking to go in the corner they end up getting it up top to Cannella Bell V goes to a 2-3 zone on a out-of-bounds play drops it off three from
Gustin no good rebound a break it's all push nice behind the back move Oh more two and one [Applause] libray you've shown his skills he's already got four points two assists in three boards beautiful no-look pass this crowd really has filled out that's gonna be a vine second fall also Mullen shootin one can't complete the old-fashioned three-point play tie it up with a minute and I have to go ten ten well good stop Philippi Beverley girls over the other MPV you said was sixteen or seven hours after the first eighteen nine now again updates not order and have couple subs for the Panthers Moreland will get a breather as well as rotting Davies and Kimura come in and this is a team that we've seen only go seven deep on their roster for the last
couple weeks deep three got it to go that's all right he's got a shot on him gonna get a timeout from Karagounis and the Panthers you know like the way they're getting those open looks so yeah blue team ten hey well we got a quick timeout here to timmy mall has been great all year both sudden our scores and I know we're getting from Robert tonight also but Timmy Marlins birthday today so Duncan and Lisa's dad okay I don't know hold the old man is but happy birthday Tim loves and there's we're gonna show you a tweet on the screen from Lisa Marciano Tim's wife and we're gonna read it right now thank you for sharing I love Bev cam for recording varsity boys and girls hoop games because both teams playing the same night
Tim and I have to put the games from the Morland kids all schools parents and fans should be lucky to have this access like Bev cam and thank you for watching Lisa thank you to all our Watchers all of our viewers and listeners and thank you Lisa especially for calling me out saying that if Alisa had a triple-double with blocks I would custom make a Jersey and wear it every Friday I haven't done that because I don't know anymore I don't know any wherever I can so if anybody knows where I can get a Moreland Jersey so I can get it made oh good answer Todd I might have to good at my job all right 1310 Belleville girls are now up twenty six to nine Davies I'll try to get out I'll order Crowley
does Crowley puts volunteers thirteen twelve less than minute to go the rain might have had a steal to bring it all the way back but the referees legs got in the way Crowley goes up big for the rebound it's gonna do any five seconds in the quarter Abreu drives we nice drives everybody who can't get to make oh Beauty rebounds 24 seconds the cfpb hosel one her vine just hit a couple pick threes he's gonna hold it up okay now they just noticed the shot clock the hopeful one here 13 seconds Irvine guarded by Durant tightly when Donald 10 gonna take a pic looking for a three gets it to Barker stutters but he'll take the shot no good Abreu you might have to he've it from half-court he's gonna try me nope now we'll
call their father please but at the end of one Beverly trails 1312 big quarter from Abreu a couple big shots from Moreland and Beverly is right back in this after struggling at the beginning of the quarter because of the subs alright that's what we get this time on hit list we could trip around the city as we call it okay a quick hello a shadow out there to the Class of 86 Jeff Bryson Debbie Miller and Stacy Pelletier who are back home watching the game the Goodhue family Ben Sarah Maggie Grace Lennie down at Beverly Jay watch the ballgame down here with Jimmy cross I got my old time in French jackal Bari Roger Morenci Danny marriages stick Crowley my pal Johnny Pee Wee Ferraro tile of all stacked on the girls Liz Sloane and
Siana George mittens will call judge mittens and shelter judge and we're gonna talk about judge we're gonna talk about the gods and Beverly I basketball later on today and George misses his name will be mentioned we'll talk a little bit more about that later in quick chat with my mom at home with the flu hope you get better oh I'll get better mom both had the flu at the same time also shut out make chines watching this all the way from UNH nice cuz you know she loves some Massachusetts High School boys basketball nice Canella couldn't get that one to go come on the other way Abreu into the corner terrain for three off the mark Davies with the offensive board it's gonna drive into the corner again we're gonna get a travel yeah I
see the shot the ball and that's something we've seen from Davies a lot earlier in the season was getting his minutes he was being very aggressive almost too selfish and now you're seeing him pass a lot almost being too unselfish but he used to see him getting into that getting that aspect in his game to really round it out well I mentioned before he's a great pass and he looks the past nah there's nothing wrong with that but sometimes he needs to look at the Oklahoma more and like that particular Drive just said Davies drops it off the Kamara in for an easy two but it's in and out offensive board Davies fullback gets in the collar Davies [Applause] one thing I like about Davies - if he overpowers you in out man's you so
to speak on the other end he's gonna let you know about him in your face pic of the day he's my Philly boy he has a good bragging rights I'm sure it's cool and sweet oh yeah almost stolen at half-court by the rain ends up ting Kanellis hands for three no good offensive board Gustin he'll try to drop it off Hernandez with the floater no good Davies with all nice how you ask it's the rain now for too high that's a nice job that's the way the game is played the rain with for now Abreu that's his third assist all barely touched the flan that great to hand over the head pass outlet pass by Davies Hernandez to Cannella bellies first leave here on I still own it up though the rain with the defense
think he's gonna be called for a foul on the floor it's his first team's fourth all right we got 616 the goal in the half bellies up by three doubling on a four nothing run bring you in the rain gotta get a rest without a Marion in there now Dustin has it taken away from a mental rotting gonna push it up Kimora's there he's in the corner for three attaboy lights come out three six minutes left only when the scooter step up 1913 Beverly lead I think this is gonna have a heck of a initiates gonna get some good experiences she and I think he's I don't think he realizes how good he can be we've seen him improve before our eyes this year as another deep three from Irvine doesn't go Moreland rebound he's
pushing it lost it update from the girls they lead in Peabody by score of 30 tonight you know wow that's a big difference they're up by 21 30 to 9:30 - 9 they're gonna punch their ticket to the tourney in emphatic fashion well Kelly Anderson also contributing as well as Alisa Borland in that game is NASA ask what I'm gonna travel there I think Jack might go wait to travel if you watch the replay here we're gonna take the foul give me the third on Peavy I think miles gonna go against Canelo his first third on a team I think over the other I can't see probably gonna shoot up here the First's up from Peabody has s but all checks in for Irvine then we only eat nothing running Alex you know down 13
or 12 f21 Kylie's been fantastic from the line to Alex all year 529 to go in the half both their up makes it a nine-point run 2113 but always upbeat that biggest leave the night couple picks up top trying to get people open Barker with it now Beverly playing man-to-man here now Espen all for three gets into goal just checks in and got his first bucket big three-pointer and that Beverly run took the lead down to five excuse me yep so I stopped the bleeding a little bit just under five the play in the half rotting to Moreland even zoom to three then you got a timeout from a head coach that Bruton and a quick update from that Beverly PVD game at halftime Beverly leads 32 nine Healy Anderson with 16 points Wow Alyssa
Moreland with 8 Wow 16 point 16.8 because so they got 24 out of the 30 points oh yeah well not surprised either you both put it in the hoop for 44 left to go in this first half Beverly leads 21 16 what are you seeing out of this Beverly team in this first half so far well they got to a slow style like I said I thought there was a lid on that basket the first couple of minutes boy nothing was going home you know some shots around the rim and then they have some shots that right but they've settled down PB as you noticed and a come out of that press right away cuz belly like I said earlier has I haven't had much trouble telling any anybody pressing them and again ever is
the type of key they'll be up 50 points and they'll continue the pressure they'll be broke it so good that ever actually kick it off so kudos to coach Carroll chorus and coach Donnie rotting quick ball he misses but stays with it and gets the roll good job like Jeff Bali's stay with a nice pass by Matt Ronny [Applause] thread the needle right in this between the zone they'll be up 723 16 for 22 the go terrain getting ready to check back in we have a foul I believe on Kamara on the floor the rain checks back in and every substitution for all the salmon rock falls on running 23 okay it's 1st 5th on the t3 from O'Neill gets it to go it alert his aim name a lot tonight but he knocks down
a big three in the majority of these pivot points have come from beyond the arc as morally tries call for two he'll be followed by Cannella in the act of shooting a lot of threes like I was saying it from this Tanner team I believe we have two from Irvine Cannella hit one as well someone from Espanola and O'Neal that's 15 out of the 18 points all been three-pointers unbelievable yeah you're right asking out on the second foul and Irvine's get to it could be big coming down the stretch Bolin's gonna get a pair can't knock down the first five threes right 15 points out of the 19 three-pointers just keeping them in the game ball and second who throws up and good [Applause] Wesley we're 16 to achieve 2419 panther lead four minutes left
to go in this first half Dustin looking down low to Cannella but gets to Irvine who knocks down three Wow so all of them were vines boys tonight all three buckets three-pointers he's got nine from 18 out of the 22 from three-pointers nice passing by Beverly good ball movement rotting almost getting trapped gets it out to Crowley he'll take a three he has some touch couldn't get the roll I'll pray you check in for Kamara good job by Kyle six threes whoo [Music] [Applause] Dustin Dustin has the four points on the Tanners Network threes whoo money got away - offensive foul and I will knock that one in five points for him check Cannella what's Cannella tied at 24 here to reign for three off the mark can't really find that Street tonight all nice
pass Journal around everyone Irvine has it now guarded by during a runner which throws it off the backboard rebound Crowley Robins gonna try to start it Abreu three no good Crowley Beverly none officer remount Crowley finds terrain in the corner for another three gets it to go knocking down the three-point field goal he's got seven to lead all Beverly scores lead all scorers in this game actually no Irvine leads all scorers with nine we're gonna get an offensive foul believe on 15 O'Neal actually it's gonna go against Cannella that's his word we talked about the out surprising you get him out of it in Cannella gonna take a seat most likely until about halfway through the third quarter you'd have to imagine 27:24 panther lead to 15 left to go in the first half a
Braves got some Running Room he's gonna take it to the hole throw it up no foul call but Wow stay with the Panthers no blood no foul I guess tomorrow to inbound it a brave on the corner three no good rebound irvine Tanner's coming the other way now two minutes to go on the half family up three Dustin gonna take Moreland drops up after hesitation in for to Parker's first points of the night only holding on a one-point lead Abreu with it now nice Brian for to always move too soon come on remiss the buddy gets the face with a you can't put at home offensive growl and putback gets in there rally with six points in this second quarter that's his fourth unofficial rebound his collie kid's gonna be danger you can be dangerous
as in here he's improving and I know he's gonna he's leaves a hard worker Hernandez off the mark rotting trying to chase it down Garrett who dis catches them [Applause] I won't be surprised at halftime if catechu news comes out and goes to blocks of one on the vine or maybe even the triangle two on him and not Cannella Gustin nice look a little Arthur he can't handle it better hands by Kara Kudus him in the wrong spot right in the hands 104 left in the first half Beverley leads 29:26 maybe try to get two shots out of this they play the clock right Kamara to rotting downloaded Davies getting triple team poked away rotting comes away with it driving nice look to Davies mid-range jumper great touch got the roll Dubois for the Philadelphia
native it's just so fun to say Philly boy this coming from rotting on that play Bella's gonna get the last shot here if they don't give up and off until rebound here O'Neil Irvine 26 seconds on the half law in the show op there's a degree of difficulty on that shot from Irvine very high Jesus is first to buzzes he's got 11 points in the first half he leads all scorers 10 seconds left to go in the first half shot clock turned off custom fouling rotting that's the sixth foul belly we shoot one-on-one it's only 80 seconds ago on the next foul yep so unless they get follow within eight seconds here fouls going on custom its first five seconds on the clock erotic Davies mid-range jumper no hard rebound O'Neill he'll just chuck it
off at the end dang Kenneth the gull was on the line but little too powerful at the end of the first half Beverly takes the 31:26 lead into the locker room big first half from Crowley he had six points in that second quarter he's got eight tonight Abreu playing very well four points four assists four boards for the young fella the rain he had acting on a three-pointer there 31:28 score heading in 30 yeah yeah 31:28 score heading into halftime for the Panthers and we'll be back in the second half for more analysis a little bit and again real quick you know Peavy you know six threes in the first half those threes are keeping in the game so again we'll see how coach Cal Coons levy decides to say that man a man switch
it back and forth to zone I won't be surprised to see him go to a triangle to on those two gods and maybe even a box of wine yeah Irvine with 11 points in that first half and Cannella three fouls for him that's gonna be big going into the second half that's real big all right so we're gonna take a break and we'll be back for the second half you you are watching Bev cam here anyone can come to the studio to make their own local TV show contact us with your idea we'll help you get started with producing your own show editing it and then we'll broadcast it to all of Beverly for your friends and family to see you might even get some new fans we also film local events like sports music

you can either please don't do this to after the game you can call me or text me who you think I'll consider other 10 10 top basketball players to play for Beverly High and we're I'm put a top ten together maybe five subs in the bench and we'll throw those things up at ya one more time all right so we're off to the second half Alex Doreen he had seven in that first half to bring you with it now back to Luigi three no good Barkley excuse me Barker gonna chase that down he's gonna go up for two two points for the Tanners to start this third quarter bakka two points for Barker he's got four tonight Abreu up top guarded by Parker rotting back to a brave three got to go ray he's got
seven he's filled with stat sheet I'll see what Billy's plan for defense in now looks like they all the man a man though everyone I got them in sent away by Crowley I believe you got a piece of that you know can always get three fouls already really nice break drop pass dare to from rotting to get that assist you know K now let's get three files you just went to the hoop you know you got to step in and take it off it's a foul on him Canella thinking about a threes guard about rotting step back can't get it to go bring you with the board it's his fifth push you're gonna had himself in the corners the rain put pass to Abreu back to the rain passed a couple defenders rotting who's open
for three back to Luigi open free getting and the role in it terrain gets his own board throws it up can't get it to go another board has that one sent away off from behind two points for Hernandez on the other excuse me no misspoke again but Cannella puts it up for two the second time I've done that tonight you blame me or you could blame the players for not get those easy tools Alice do you say Canales to three fouls on Irvine's get three can ellas get to irvine or Canelo's got three Irvine has two okay that's a thing so foul trouble for both of them as a brave takes another deep three can't get it to go cries offensive ly by Mike Riley he went up around three Tanner players and came down
with that one himself Emily six point lead 38:32 Irvine guarded tightly by Doreen Gustin with a downloader has back to Gus and goes up 4-2 with contact no foul call the board Moreland he's coming the other way now almost loses it drops it down to Crowley nicely a floater can't get it to go but he grabs his own board and puts it in for two Crowley's got double digits now with ten he's also got six boards unofficially then we back up baby I think they had a lot of why just Lee was either nine right I knows who's at least eight they went on that big run to start that second quarter all new cheap foul it's gonna go on rotting as Kamara comes in for the rain to be running second forest on the
team [Applause] didn't catch that one Canella goes up for two and one fouls going to go against Moreland [Applause] miles gonna go against moorland got an update from the girls over in PVD they lead in the third quarter by a score of thirty seven to twelve twenty five point lead there for the Panthers quickly gets it up to Moreland almost loses it out of bounds off his feet quickly finds Crowley though he's gonna drive try to kick it out Kamara slows it down to Bray you three back iron rebound Cannella he's pushing it the other way he's with l2 over to him by the way this kid Gus Tamihere is a quite a ball player Shaw stopped got the word from my man Jeff Bryson he's going division 1 donít I think Bryant okay not
to check that but also check him out there in the baseball season yeah he's headed down to Bryant and a full scholarship in the shot stopped sold thank you Jason for that up to date he but he came out with a press there I think we're here to travel on babies we do you know I don't tell it's a travel odd to look at that again but he kind of the way he went through he kind of dragged that a little bit went slow motion belly straight up me in the men up by 640 34 Fernandez looking for Cannella it gets it to Barker Gustin thinking about a free Irvine now guarded by camara tightly Gustin deep two on the mark just a little short Abreu of the rebound quickly gets it out in transition
it's gonna take on the whole team himself can't get it to go but Crowley's there to save them offensive board and the putback for Crowley we're always having a game call points thirteen point fourteen points is 2 for 2 from alignment [Applause] Fernandes finger old no good rebound Davies he'll push it he almost loses it he's gonna give it out over saying give it up Hernandez on the other end easy to after the turnover that's Hernandez that's yeah that's his first hoop Moreland's gonna probably check in for Davey's peewee down a two to one or what I call the UCLA full-court press Crowley couldn't get it to go off angle tough angle if he has to play have the angle Gustin bringing it up Hernandez fresh off that bucket started by Davies clapping Adam love
the attitude there on the defensive side in the corner of Servine Hill Drive good way to use his body but couldn't get it to fall rebound Rada quickly pushes it up to a brave will slow it down Cannella got to be careful he's got three fouls and ones took them look stupid fourth Radek taking the pitch from Crowley Kamara for three yeah boy I'd love to see that because he's had a little confidence again there's a great design play you had to pick from Crowley than you had come on were coming off a pick on the baseline free himself open for a three easy decision for him to take that Kyle still grown to you look at him he's get that perfect party for Bassel play his arms and legs free from Hernandez he'll get
it to go Davis it and close out soin and is being held scoreless up to halftime now has two baskets a break five points Davies ooh well he traveled for us all for travel he was pushed yeah he was but you know why I think you shuffle just before New Orleans gonna come in for Davies Davies not happy he's frustrated a couple tough series there for him couple tough possessions didn't close out on that defensive play moments ago gonna call for the travel there [Music] 43:14 lead for the Panthers the girls won't let you fail later on he school in that basket Allen Gustin in there for two good move to get 43 to 14 belly girls Wow Crowley corner three in front of the fan squad gets it to go so to get that
back EE up seven minute I have to go in the third quarter here who takes that Rowley vorlons coming the other way he'll have it deflected and what a game from Crowley so far tonight Fernandes if you know one O'Neill he'll take it himself gets it to go when it's got five tonight now who's gonna move by him on the baseline [Applause] totally struggling to get out of that president get up to Moreland he'll take it for he has range yes more than four three he's got eight tonight timeout Peabody 48:40 we leave for the Panthers after two big threes from their big man Crowley and Moreland back to back Wow nice nice nice well that's good for the belly girls that's the kind of man I saw the wooden against a peewee girls team
that's been playing pretty good lately throw up 43:14 Wow then the speck that yeah they're gonna punch their ticket to the tournament tonight both Beverly boys and girls team we're gonna be in playoff action Panthers right now they have a have a tough road ahead of them we're gonna take a look at it now the end of the season tournament they're gonna be against Revere Revere actually the only team in the NEC North not to clinch a playoff berth of all the teams in Tennessee North the Patriots have not done that then they're gonna go to Marblehead a team that they might see in the playoffs down the stretch Beverly then they have that end-of-the-year tournament against Bishop Fenwick in that first game and then a either consolation game or a championship game to round
out the season in that tournament that's gonna be a good tournament both boys and girls so if you're not doing anything this weekend that would be Sunday the 18th and Monday the 19th come on down to the Fieldhouse we're gonna have a girl's game starting off on Sunday at 2 o'clock followed by the boys B Gloucester mask anomic girls fall by the cloths that mask my boys yeah come down come say hi to me and coach D here force Connie's gonna have pick up a foul it's only his first [Applause] 51:53 Panther lead 51:23 excuse me 5143 Panther lead 32 seconds left on the clock 20 on the shot clock Hernandez with the contact sent away by Kamara but he might be called for his third foul you will be his first foul oh no
I have him down for three yeah because this is the fourth on a team maybe you look at the form yeah well my score book well really messed up so her name is shooting the pea he misses the first so belly's gonna get the last shot of the quarter well numb yeah they woke 30-second clock thinking of the pros and be a 24-second clock all six of his points coming in this third quarter they'll be up seven they'd probably hold for one shot here I'm sure 51:44 McDonald 20 seconds to go on the quarter be me sitting in a zone two-three zone 13 well eight seconds you gotta go Alex all right you got to go right now you got to go you got to go to rain in the corner all draped over Roy
you don't want to sell it they get it back tomorrow's gonna have to throw it up I don't think he got it off in time no you did and you wanted to get a cleaner look at the basket there to end that glory you want to try you got a better shot than what they good I think Beverley leads 51:44 going into the fourth quarter big quarter from Crowley dominated on the offensive end Worland hit a three a couple buckets excuse me a three from Abreu as well four threes for the Panthers in that third quarter Brea Moreland Crowley and Kamara knocked him down Irvine held scoreless in that third quarter Cannella we saw him in there even though with the three fouls he had two buckets and Hernandez finally hit the score sheet he
had six in the third quarter for the Tanners 4820 panther lead against Peabody girls team in Peabody update therefore you lead 28 points over the Tanners again a great win for the girls punched their ticket into the tournament heard at halftime Moreland had eight points in Neely Anderson added 16 he had 24 out of 30 first-half points for the girls and start in the fourth quarter here the Henry Cavill --oj Fieldhouse certainly holding on to a seven-point lead trying to get their second win against division 1 teams Gustin takes a pick from Barker Morland comes away with a chimera now around half-court there's numbers he's gonna keep it himself blocking foul see if it was in motion what I could have gone either way you gotta go against a vine that's his third I think
that's only their first team foul this hat is right tomorrow is gonna be at the line shooting two front rims the first come on Kyle he's count free throws are free gonna make him there you go that's my boy he's got seven points tonight family good man a man Irvine finds Hernandez behind the art guarded by the rain gets it out to O'Neal he was a pick from Hernandez gets by a couple players gusting in the corner for three no good rebound more than he's pushing it ahead generally has numbers but Mullen will slow it finds terrain in the corner Ronny good move you use a little clock liner update I want to take good shots you know rush I pray you three yes huge huge three his second free tonight he has ten points
before the Panthers so far it's Beverly's biggest lead now 11 Alex cloth could become a big factor pretty soon 6:40 and company O'Neal you show fly you play good man to me in this half Alex Gustin couldn't get that one to go OMI say bye Roddy good hustle ray you coming the other way O'Neal way behind he was 301 take a charge Hernandez easy to and I don't like that call [Applause] Hernandes gonna try complete that three-point play he's got nine all in the second half Crowley's gonna check in for the Panthers he'll come in for Moreland so out there for the Panthers now with the four starters in rotting Abreu excuse me not starters tonight but normal starters for this team you have rotting Abreu the rain and Crowley at Komara to that mix
that your lineup right now for the Panthers couldn't get it to go rebound Crowley [Applause] 55:46 Panther lead so each team has a basket this quarter coming to the six-minute mark rotting Abreu another three in the same spot couldn't get it to go but I found nice pass Luigi looked like he used to dream pirouettes to put that with a nice left hand shot by Luigi so that's a shot I liked it Bell he's got the lead back to 11 543 three from Hernandez no good rebound Crowley all over the boards tonight nearing a double-double bellies look a little run Alice if it's not there they're being smart they're bringing it back out and resetting and uses on clock but they're gonna look to run if they get the break they're gonna take it and
that's good you don't want to hold back the range too early in the game Crowley little baby for a laptop - that's the kid you don't want to follow [Applause] Falls on baka this is first yeah his first on in the team second probably shooting two here we didn't see fouls really come into play in terms of team fouls as he can write down the first can't believe probably missed in that first half neither team getting to the one and one Beverly right now though with five team fouls with five 17 left to go in the fourth knocks down the second alright bellies up 12 that's the biggest lead of the night now Dustin gust floater another rebound Crowley is a double-double for him where you gets it out of harm's way gets it into
the hands of rowdy five minutes to go in the game that we up 12 Kamara to rain on a Crowley he can't handle it though you know I don't think Jack was expecting I saw Luigi God look like he's gonna go up and heat stop going for the offensive rebound Barker Fernandez move I'm thinking about another three tomorrow definitely weary of that take a charge probably on the Bighorn Lobell was good numbers here note tomorrow can you slow it down good decision good decision for 25 left to go on the fourth 12 point lead for the Panthers [Applause] camara via shot Kyle Lorraine 3 just off the mark Hernandez gets it he's ready to run Canella fakes a three step back takes it another board Beverly look on the run took the numbers Abreu three
whoops it off to Crowley I think he thought was gonna be blocked he was in the air for about free skater oh nice pass by him and one mixtape tour - Scotty Abreu front and center acting like he's the professor over here drops it down to Crowley that was looking good there up 14 their biggest lead tonight five points excuse me three points for Crowley in this fourth quarter pray you're doing a good job with that assist that's five unofficial Crowley leading all teams or excuse me both teams in scoring Beverly leads 14 if I believe that's their largest lead of the night as well definitely the biggest lead right here well we got time we're gonna check the current NEC standings both north and south it's kind of like NBA East and West here
it used to be you got almost every team in the North qualified you see they're everett english and classical beverly model of Malden Peabody Revere the only team in the north not to south you have two teams to make it Winthrop and Swampscott only because of that Sullivan rule and I don't really want to give that rule any airtime and so we're not gonna talk about it you see what you see there look up the Sullivan rule on your own time I'm not getting into it you're looking up you're gonna find some joke yep and then you're gonna tweet at us or call us and then we can have a talk about it all right we're down a 3:45 to go in the ball game time now becomes a big factor for PBA gotta stop
looking to get into their offense a little quicker but belly's playing tough me on a man Alex at these it's been a good call I'm coach Carroll coulis and Donnelly spotted stay with the man a man over the court and they've put the clamps now I'm pretty good yeah a lot of contested shots for the Panthers as irvine misses a deep three and that's really been the difference in this fourth quarter yes P but he's missing their shots but apparently defenders always they're blanketing the shooter we have a final score in Peabody the girls win 4928 is Crowley can't get that to go and the girls team punches their ticket to the tournament so now both teams congratulation to the coast and chillin the girls for making the tournament parade well deserved c24 draining and
roaming with that steel with Davies terrain now and that girl seems young Alice they're gonna be hurt from the next couple years the old locks down the three in the face of Davies you know I was just gonna say they only had one three-point of this half at the heavens six in the first half rowdy with numbers Crowley blocked by Irvine but it'll be called for the foul 62-49 still following her vine it's gonna be the fourth order right one more in he's out well don't matter at this stage to 33 go the game he files all he fouls out crowd you're gonna shoot up here can't get that first to go when your characters are from probably missing two free throws is very unkind Kent Kent Smith who Davies takes a seat Kimura comes
in for him Dave he's a big part of that last play with the rain forced to steal quickly got it up to him for to read either something's got to be up with those rims I'd check them Canella driving past or a loss I wait who's that Luigi Luigi it's great Blanc Abreu dribbles it out and use some clock he's guarded by Gustin where he was too quick he gets by with ease probably up and on the move kicks it back out 12 on the shot clock plenty of time don't the two-minute mop that was no rush oh they turn the ball over Gus and cover the other way two minutes two minutes to go on the game O'Neal cutting the head of that pass Irvine catch and shoot no good rebound Crowley he's getting
good job that's been all I can recall for that foul his first thought on the team all right 151 the gold bellies up 13 want to use the clock you know baby's got two fouls the get-go I get two files the waste terrain get an open lane drops and off to Kamala infernity - nice pass by the rain I believe this is a season high for him nine points phenomenally comes off the bench but he's played a lot more minutes as of late off the mark terrain couldn't handle it but it's kept in by rotting espen all to irvine corner three yes their line the up timeout beauty as they knock down that 40 they're still alive for the moment a minute 22 left to go 12 points for the Tanners but you'd have to
think it would be a miracle for them to come back well belly's just got hold on to the ball like I said Peavey's got two files away so then they're gonna put W in the line anything after that so like you said Alice Bell was in good shape eeeh Irvine with that three he didn't score tall that third quarter so his first points in since he had 11 of the first that 3-ball hasn't really been there for the Tanners this half so we got a correction on that girl's score over in Peabody the final schools after the 49 to 29 so 20-point when I understand a lot of kid going to the game over there so it's a nice solid very solid team win for the girls and congratulations again to coach stanchion and his
coaching staff into the belly hi girls again they're very younger than we heard from I really like a lot of those girls on that team congratulations girls good job way to punch your ticket to the tournament too emphatic win against the team that has had your number for the past about decade that Peabody team who no foul called there and he got a timeout from Kara kouddous did he get it let's see it's like he did but yeah it was a great win against and that Peabody team has had the Beverley girls number for the past decade I'm sure you remember Jane Hale being there Jane hi all right now oh she's a sweet hi and uh I understand she's still referee down the the Youth League god bless I remember she was one of
the first referees I ever had being in Beverly growing up there playing Kiwanis respected her that the moment you met her you knew great malicious hall Fame coach Jane Felton listening congratulations on this again on a terrific terrific great career idea husband Bobby and any chance love to give giver a shout out every chance we don't look for you Donna stuffy's next time I'm down there Jane if you're out there Jane would would come by and speak at my camps yeah yes I went through yeah there's a nice job great job great basketball mind that wide open good one they're gonna kick it back out use some flock good move nobody expected that one John going to see is back in the game rotting almost trips up Kamara in the corner sound of a shot
clown shot cloth rotting good you're gonna look for good one here that's gonna bring the house down could win with the bucket good to see and you can see what a great kid John is by the Ovation he just got from the Beverly crowd good for you John well deserved John grads are real on the boom gonna get a quick timeout we're gonna get the other seniors will go as well good good move by coach John Carroll kudos he's gonna get the rest of the season bellies up 14 any case how much time was left there uh getting out 38 seconds you have to go five seniors the ones that started for the Panthers are gonna close this one out McCormack Goodwin in Marcia and joined the captains terrain and rotting so Beverly with this
win they will improve to 11 in five overall we'll look to see what happens in the coming days with the Winchesters in the mass goes of the world the old doors are two teams ahead of Beverly in the seeding in the D two more you have Belmont North Andover in Woburn just under them and we can't figure scorers table down me at - I'm a training and rescaling dick young and my Belfast man Devlin not almost hated one another great job nice solid win for Billy it tonight terrain gonna leave it up to Marshawn just like the football he'll come down with it but it'll probably be called for stepping out of bounds but that was just a regular old football play for a football guy like Brock Marsh done all right 38 seconds of
counting bellies up 1466 52 3 from Hernandez two short stays Marshall Amash and he's gonna try to make or with this one he'll go up set so a buyer's gonna shoot - gonna push so Marchand can knock down one of these will just need McCormick to get a bucket we'll have all five seniors on the board for the Panthers whose have fallen and I was gonna go on Hernandez on his first 15 foul for the Tanners [Music] watch and shoot the pea 24 seconds ago on the game knocks down the first Russians on the board and terrain and rot I'm gonna take a seat Cahill nice job by the two scenes Matt rotting and Luigi the two captains getting a nice hand from that fund their teammates on the bench Masha and another great kid
you can tell how well liked he is also by the cheering of the kraaho they're gonna pop know who he is good to see these seniors having fun on senior night scoring some buckets we'll see if McCormack today 67 I believe cuz yeah there's a 67 ok 3 from Irvine gets it to go be buddy teams still fighting we're getting at a timeout 67-55 you know like to see the McCormick's get a shot up here to see even get on the board the only senior without points that I like to see him get on the board and I think Alex may be in the game we're gonna meet maybe Robin wants to throw those names up one more time we'll give the fans out there Robert a chance to look at those names one more
time and if we could we'll do a little wrap up the game then we'll go over that and talk those if you could just shoot just give them put the names up only maybe just a quick look whatever way you want to do it Robert it's good [Applause] here's another look at the guide you take a look at there we're gonna look for your input my numbers gonna go up you can either call or text me with who you think you know love to have you import who you think of the top ten ball players to come out Beverly High who would you pick if you know you're starting five obviously you know you want a big guy at point guard to run the show some shooters some rebounders and we're trying to see if
we can put together maybe a top ten and maybe uh honorable mention five kids on a bench Bosch the baseball pass overthrows Kumari you can't save it eighteen point two seconds get my number up there in the screen again please wait till after the game you don't want that phone buzzing right there at the end of the season though I'm gonna pick what I think is my all Greek team a my all liked Hannah team too many Irish and Italians to do the EE did you get that last hoop Alex two quick points for Hernandez annotators was that bananas you just go that last hoop believe so okay well he's given the points so bellies up ten sixty seven fifty seven just running it up now but you know you get a lot of great
talents and ballplayers I've gone through here I talked about the lefties as many ballplayers Alice's we've had go through the belly system not all that many lefties and it's really unbelievable but you know my senior year out of the starting five everywhere lefties Wow George cope was was a point guard we had Bobo Kyle great shooter and Josh the finalist my best friend Donna was a lefty coming off the bench on that team was Tim Colby who's six seven years a lefty and myself and Dave dinner Minh yeah both lefties we have six lefties on that team so it's unbelievable the only lefty I really remember commentating for john birch off there you go there's a lefty only one I can really him another one I really need a Billy Chi al gay not to
top my head boy birch off to use that left hand like nobody else I open big Brian remember birch off he could be anywhere on the core dribble with that right hand he could do the crossover he could hesitate and keep going right he just pull up right in front of you I still play with him every summer does a great kid John with my camp one summer 9.7 he buddy trying to stay in this O'Neill gotta go up for two guys I'll tell you people talk quit no they're playing hard way to the end basket by O'Neill who's that following you see him believe that fouls gotta go against Marshall I believe trying to get it in Goodwin he's gonna shoot the free throws 6.5 seconds Billy's up seven [Applause] you know this girl
is gonna look a lot closed at the end here but Beverly uh it was a nice all a win for Beverly it was I mean the lead down the seven but you know they get everyone in the game and missed a couple free throws here good one shooting 101 good one can't knock down the first he's gonna try to chase down the rebound calling for it to stay it's not gonna 5.4 Beverly do not follow please I think half the crowd yelling don't foul one'll get to past half court he's just gonna drive past mccormick and miss a layup and that woulda made it look even more up closer at the end of the fourth quarter than Panthers take this one away from the Tanners by a score of 67 to 60 and it was
a huge huge night for Crowley the rain did it as well on the shooting end and the Braves did it all over the stat sheet Crowley with a double-double he had 20 points tonight in abreu really big down the stretch he had two threes in that second half in clutch moments to really separate the Panthers he also had six rebounds as well as six assists unofficially Derain great job shooting for him tonight as always did a good job driving as well we want to see him drive more he did a lot of that in the second half he ended tonight with 13 points and it get a really really nice solid win for the Panthers they move to 11 and 6 now and they're gonna be off now it's a next Tuesday yep and we'll
be back here Tuesday right we'll be back here Tuesday well I don't know Flo anymore so we're gonna be good and we have to say a lot about this beauty team this was the second win again or for Beverley against d1 schools now two and four on the season Irvine was lighting it up 11 points three threes in that first half he ended tonight with 14 points and six threes for the Tanners in that first half made up most of their points they only hit about two threes in that second half and Beverly like you said that man defense in the second half really helped them close the gap on that Peabody yeah people he only had three threes the second half but they came late in the game fast they're all in the fourth
quarter yeah you know when when they kind of was desperation time where they kind of style I had that had that he went amok yeah so Belle way I thought the big difference I thought the difference in the game was without doubt you know looks like we guess I'm actually going on the meteor anything the players but anyways I thought the big difference in the game was Cara Kunis coming out a half time and going to a mana me and all over over the court so and that was I thought the deal was employed they played good defense so Beverley taking this one sixty seven sixty Oh tonight that the girls clinched their playoff berth with a win in Peabody the boys get it done here as well and home both teams in the playoffs
this season we're gonna be broadcasting all the playoffs you know pebble he's gonna have some home games hopefully the girls can get that record up to maybe have a whole game as well so for coach Tom Donovan for Matt Pujo a Ville Robert Doakes I'm Alex to Luke oh I think yeah we're going to be done as far as the broadcasting game and I think Robert Doakes if you could maybe fill those names up one more time we'll just give everybody another quick look at all the names we had up there earlier double history that we talked about will go to the guys back up again again you get a little look at the the gods you make your picks because many gods for words and sentences you want so there's the guys we just
showed you know here's our sentence a big guys not all that many bellies never have been known they have many big guys because it all starts with Peter when the forwards good look at the forwards some great athletes up there we take a last look at the last people forwards judge Callis I know was also on that too I think we had there we are Brian Tobin Justin Reese and George Calais so if you would like to help out give me a call or text anytime over the weekend do a little thinking but just food for thought we're trying to put a group together as we get into the tournament for the Larry Callahan tournament yep that's gonna be a good time so for coach Donovan Matt Pujo on camera Robert Doakes behind the scenes
