001[Music] hello and welcome to channel 22 of the best camp Sports Network we're at Henry Cabot Lodge Fieldhouse here in Beverly High School fourth you twelve and one side coming in against the 10 in 3 Beverly Panthers Alex leuco joined alongside Tom Donovan in Tom this ever team very very talented very deep it's gonna be a tough challenge for this baby this ever team is loaded just be a good test for Beverly boys but you know it's no guts no glory night I think you know just help and lay it on the line we'll just play hide-and that's awesome yep hey before you get to be Victoria over here and Caitlin don't work on the cameras on Yuma tell them nice job tonight but uh Alice later on tonight when we come back at the
002halftime we're going to talk a little about the history of Beverly High basketball and we're gonna throw some names up on the screen I went over the center's the other night we're gonna rehash that real quick yep because it was not that many big ones and then tonight we're gonna do a list of the forwards and later on I believe Rob is gonna whop throw my phone number up there but please we're asking you please do not call or text that number to after the game and we like to hear your input who you think of maybe who you would pick via top five and maybe a second five we'll try and get a list together cause the top ten players and see how that comes out but again you're gonna see a lot of
003names especially with the forwards in the gods and I'm going back to the 60s I'm over not that old but I do remember a lot of the older players down back to the 60s George missins Harry marriages rush bronze and DNE marriages a little before my time but I know I've heard nothing but great things about keying averages and who's a shootin God and Russell wrongs was considered one of belly's best pigment - also the play so what dude will be doing that at the very beginning of the second half all righty and while we're here we have this great game going on the number one team in the end see North is the Everett Crimson Tide and Beverly number three team Everett at d1 school at D to school you see the standings up
004there ever coming in at 12 and one overall that one loss was against Brighton Brighton right now as it stands there at six and four there in the d2 they have a huge win over Everett and although they're six and four in Beverly is ten and three there's a rankings going there's rankings going around for the top teams in the NEC Division two North in Brighton at six and four is ahead of Beverly Beverly right now sitting at fourth in that Power Rankings these power rankings were written excuse me by Dan Ventura do you know I'll tell ya Danny is the best he is what a great high school writer he is he just and also up you know you talk about my coach Alex we Division one in both baseball basketball I coached up
005here and I'll tell you there's no easy L so you're talking you're playing something Catholics the st. John's Prep came June zlatin I had to play twice two years back to back and that's not to say Division two does that have something like that we talked about just now Brighton who you said is the only team to beat Everett yep Division two has some very tough teams also they do it as well in that d2 North Power Rankings from Ventura reads as from 1 to 8 you have Arlington Brighton Woburn Beverly in there at 4 that was when they were not in 3 these were last week's Power Rankings and you have Winchester followed by Belmont masculine North Bay and over a lot of good teams there and it just show it goes to show
006you that Brighton team although they're six and four because of that win against ever puts them bad up that much higher Beverly can pull one out tonight those power rankings could change drastically well I think the big thing tonight to watch tonight I tell you what I think is give me the key tonight Alice I think the key tonight as in most cases against a very good team it's completely hand me Everett's full-court press because they really get optic now belly has done a pretty good job against all presses X with the exception of little in English game they'll definitely came out against learn English and they broke their press pretty good English obviously made a couple adjustments and that we struggled with it what's custom behind and that they're really the only team the
007blow Beverly out and you talk outs about bellies only history losses I saw that Tewksbury game which is a very winnable game they only scored 44 points they had probably the worst game and the other game Lin classical we saw them lose over here yep that could have been they could easily be 12 and want they could very easily we're gonna see these starting lineups momentarily for the Panthers it's gonna be the normal five we'll talk about that later before season tied their starting lineups first Isaiah likely Jared boys and boys actually he's set in heating all-time scoring record for the Crimson Tide last week he's got 1735 points he passed Shannon crooks who did it in the early to mid-90s boys obviously a great player Monty Campbell number 3 number 11 Caleb Jacobson number
00844 Jaylon Smith also Alex you know we you know the continual bump to have a freshman they can dig in right after it and if they're on 50 points they won't let up they can beat you by a hundred they know so they don't feel bad for anybody they'll go right after you and I'm just gonna say it those jerseys forever those are some nice jerseys I like to feel like their mind me of some Maryland colored jerseys I like those in the starting five for the Panthers your normal 5 its Crowley Moreland I'll break you rotting and during Duran missing the last start you saw in his place Davies have a great game and source for your start against or for Beverly Helen in that start hey the scores table doing the introductions on
009the air like he does every game he does a nice job as Matri on and on scan was at the table I've alpha and dick young work on the scores team we're gonna send it down now to the court for the national anthem in the presentation of the colors from the PHS ROTC [Music] opening tip-off moments away you might be seeing me standing for most of this game it's gonna be a good one's gonna be action-packed I might it might be too Restless to sit coach well I'll be doing a little both my I gotta sit once in a while it looks but you know I notice else we got a nice crowd already yes Friday night they're primed ready the goal looking at some of the regulars sitting here in the house already we
010got Ricky forest which he lends I see it on there Freddy schmuck LA down below I see mr. hot red hot Dave Connery no Frank forty the sidekick a Wilson yeah nice crowd here tonight you see their coach Kerr coot is talking to his squad just by far the toughest task Kara crudest has in his first season coaching the orange and black and we'll see how composed he has his team because like you said that press from Everett its patented very tough they run it a lot we'll see how they can handle it you know Alex you I'm looking at the starting five right now they don't look all that big 44 is a big boy but the other kids they from Clemson appeared they looked all scrawny you know this I'm looking at the
011kids at jumpin he looks about probably six three Stanisic Raleigh he's 506 four so they do have luck number 11 here okay they get some pretty decent size yet Jacobs I'm 11 all right the opening tip Everett comes away with it voice almost has it taken away by a brain fairly quickly gets back gets set defensively Campbell up top Jacobs into the corner good defense there by Moreland he'll drive dishes it off good defense by the rain offensive board another deflection ends up in the hands of Roenick brought in pushing it forward Moreland with it now rotting up top finds Abreu off a screen into deranged with that hot nice look by ROM and terrain driving in a little bit taking that shot as we get a three from the Crimson Tide where they get
012the offensive rebound another shot attempt from the charity stripe no good rebound Crowley and you would mentioned you want terrain to be driving in morn you saw it there as he takes a free I love to see the rain would arrive a little bit more especially early in the game to open up that outside shot three from Boise gets it to go we see why he's the all-time leading scorer for the Crimson Tide already well we got the wood before the game he's already played in this gym twice and he loves the background so he's tied it off good already everyone with the press looks like Evans got a two to one press wall another corner to rein a second three got it took all this time we're tied in three you know Alice with
013belly they have a shot tonight they got a shoot to God shoot the rock good tonight the rain already gotten two threes up three total shots they got to play put four quads together boys a couple steps and two points for him five already see that you and stuff he's there I call this the UCLA press two to one John Wooden John Wooden ran that file you say I bet the old Gail Goodrich and low else end up they got to get a past half court rotting terrain only a couple more seconds get it up to Crowley just in the nick of time of Raewyn open three in the corner don't put Jose in the corner excuse me I just called him Hosea cuz Hosea the baseball players till sconnie Wow that's okay I think
014they know who we use by now I should also live panther lead now I see bevel he's playing his own here tonight good defense like Crowley make that y'all to that shot you know he didn't block he altered it Elvis got numbers coming up ahead here good one all you got to make those back the other way two on two pulling up from three is boys nails it this voice has game he's got eight all eight of everett's points with five 20 left to go on the first coming from Jared boys Evert leads eight six Abreu beats the press quickly this time he makes that he's nice soup very high paced game I have a feeling I'm gonna be standing it's already getting me going good sign early in the game though belly's breaking the
015press pretty good Alex that's a good sign boys having a break there Abreu uncontested layup and he's kind of you know we wanted he's got seven already I'll tell you how late the stills unless he's gonna go up and dunk it which I call 100% shot lay it in off the glass you know he made that unless you can get up high enough to dunk it lay it up the glass a few subs here for the tide we've got Thompson entering also Bell door and may who a high school game starting off right away too easy pass in low probably got away with one not another flaw chin erotically trying to get it up to terrain rodding hits the floor slides a bit of way who comes up with it mid-range Jay get deflected it's
016coming back the other way this is likely Holloway no rain got it great and easy to take the to the glass makers proud five points for the rain I'll tell you this is a good stuff a belly because it's giving them a little coffins 20 points scored total in this game only by three players boy says all eight points for the tide in 12 points totaling on the Beverley side five from the rain the rest from a brave likely down low nice pass to Mayhew puts it in for two [Applause] it's good look there by likely at the top of the key ring gets a pass half-court he drives finds Crowley he goes on over to nice cool ticket strong I'll tell you pebbles playing with them and I think it's a gang goes on
017you're gonna play with a little bit more more more confidence it Beverly continues to beat this press do you think ever calls it off at any point no no they press the whole game open three from Bell door no good rebound Mayhew kicks it out to likely they'll restart it he'll fake the pass nice finger roll us a nice take give me the first foul a ball game coming up here I think it's gonna be under rain it's gonna be on crowd first time Crowley first on the team likely shooting to first was up no good Alice another point here Bell he's only been playing like seven eight kids and one of them's are not playing tonight so they pretty much go on seven eight the most ever curious to see what they're gonna do
018I won't look bet they probably play long numbers and just keep running and everybody right at ya Beverly gets that ball after two missed free throws and ever it's already made three subsonic Beverly just made their first its Davies you talk about the last game the free throws now you know realize last game Beverly was 19 for 23 from the line some of it was only 9 for 13 all right coming up to the 3-minute mark 1410 Beverly Beverly breaking the press pretty good so far ray you puts a move on Mayhew nice fake bombs and yet to block by May who gets his own rebound you don't well Oh Beverly's gonna get it back push it push it push it and see likely number one getting rolled over on that play comes up with
019a bit of a limp looks like he'll stay in the game I pray Hugh made a nice up fake and what he needed to do is just give it one more up faked he had him those body into him lorraine guarded closely by Mayhew [Applause] Moreland can't get the spin three from the rain airball that was a very ill-advised shot well I thought time I've been deflected I guess not didn't really set himself came off the screen quick and almost jumped before he got the ball 1410 two minutes 30 seconds left to go in the first it's a barn burner already here at the Henry Cabot Lodge Fieldhouse double team a corner good defense last touched by rotting I think one the rest want to clock the other way and he kind of hesitated look
020at the other rough 2:23 to go in La Plata likely down low up fake dishes it to Boise tries to put it up for to no good rotting gets the board the rain maybe another three it's a long two can't get this one to go either to rain 1 for 5 on the night 3 in the corner its voice his first missed three-point field goal offensive board bell door pulling up against Davies and Amy citizen back in Oh good see and good luck my boy job team it was especially Pannell it's a good luck my boys cuz he his teammate had an uncontested layup before you caught if he expected it see Micah Davies there on your screen Philadelphia born and raised oh the Philly boy had a nice block there those a good defensive
021stand by the Panthers even though put up a few offensive rebounds they held tight didn't let the Crimson Tide come away with a bucket Davy's to rotting off a pic from the charity stripe locked again from behind Andrade could have just gone for that ball if he saw it yeah I think he's more concerned about getting back on defense which wasn't a bad thing Beverly playing a 2-3 zone good ball moon by Everett two points there for Thompson whose first bucket of the game 1412 lead 1412 EE L me up to one couldn't get that one go likely coming down the lane drops it off the voice puts an elbow when neurotic he'll be called on that one we saw that you got an elbow right into the sternum and now rotten calling for a
022break there's Abreu enters for him I'd say Matt rar isn't playing hard all year and he's not getting much rest he's had to go pretty much the whole game pretty much all year so uh kudos to him the ouija Duran getting a break well-deserved break again the pace of this game it's gonna favor ever [Applause] Bell he's got to shoot that was getting some good lucks they I think they need to just show the ball a bit look up fake a little more last minute in the first quarter which team can bring momentum into the second Alex you're right belly uh Everett's kind of laid off in that press a love that they've gone back to like a half court let's see what they go out there they score though Moreland four on four here
023a couple stray high school or is it over likely jump the passing lane he might go for a dunk Davies was following unlikely pranks down the hammer Wow Highschool 31 seconds all right Beverly quite hopeful one here mom you were watch on that one at home you could hear it labret who goes uphill bowels are they go you see the flowers one oh if we only had instant replay think the files on Jacobs no balls give me on Thompson his first second on the team braces team worst free-throw [Applause] are you a tie ballgame 14:14 23.9 seconds ago Sistani three huge shooting one more so Everett unless belly makes a steel we'll get the last shot of the quarter [Applause] gets a second ago if Beverly that lead belly up one eight points for Abreu
024now he had nine was doubting likely download a Mayhew batted away by Davey's ten point five seconds at the sea Billy go stop here ten point five seconds likely oh he'll buy Moreland nice dish to me who goes up situation double time situation what a backside vlog from Crowley alright 1514 Allison looking pretty good hey let's take a quick tour around the city Alice where you get a quick break here we'll pick up a bigger and bigger fan base back home I understand Roger Morenci Danny mavin I mentioned earlier stick Crowley Jaffa Mari my pal Johnny P in Corrado title for sex with his three girls lives Sloan is he on oh my boy Scott Cavalli wife Katie's son Scotty and daughter Mia Jeff Bryson Lenny from belly Jade Jimmy cross then get healed this
025lovely bride Sarah and their daughter Maggie Grace George mittens and my old student ex student I ran to today Debbie Miller Chu is out there watching the game tonight so quick hello alright 15:14 Beverley lead after one in something I saw as they were coming back after that first quarter of course Crowley made that great block on Mayhew from behind Crowley came back to the huddle he was telling everybody you can read his lips he said it's just two points it's just two points talking about that huge dunk from likely that blew the roof off this arena a new job yeah he's right just two points he's absolutely right all Beverly's hanging with them again we'll see how it goes on with the Everett bench they play a lot of numbers because I think that's
026a concern that Beverly getting gassed raining arted by likely he gets around them tripped up blocking foul on likely that's the first on him you know Alice another thing I'll point out too is these referees and then play a little bit tonight yeah Everett's from the old GBL and the city kids and I don't know who these referees I don't recognize them but they'll let them play a little bit which again I think is an ever fail but the Northeast Conference usually is a little touchy-feely they got on your foul so belt leak apply three a fact I think both teams have gotten away some follows who's that voice again voice again he's already got ten LaBrea quickly brings it back and again no press from the Crimson Tide we'll see you later in the
027game if they bring it back bring you into the corner oh not to no good he'll be fouled and he'll shoot [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Charlie shoe repair [Applause] that follows on me he was out to pronounce it the 13 you was on me who [Applause] Charlie knock down the first great free-throw shooter he's got three points tonight yeah he he's been awesome from the following line he had 18 last time we were here one of the top rebounders in the North Shore only a sophomore garlic 2 for 2 from the line [Applause] voice in the corner drops a down nice pass to Thompson kicks it back out back to Thompson back to Boise this whole offense is running through boys as it hasn't passed over year's ball for me Abreu is first I mean second
028on the team Boise is gonna get up here [Applause] 17:16 boys can't make the first can't blame the backbone he already mentioned that he likes the background [Applause] knocks down the second [Music] tie ball game 17 apiece where you in the corner loses it goes to Everett that really gets back quickly boy striving dishes it off Mayhew up and under no good rebound rodding he's pushing it already he has de rain up front gets it to him almost pulling up from three instead gets it to Abreu takes it himself left-handed sent away we're trying French at least all the fouls but good take I like the way he went to the hoop though Alex [Applause] drop it oh good block and a lamp there thought he might get away to travel there likely misses that
029one yo European step all nice looked up Davies and the weeds you had Abreu in the corner instead tries to pull up gets it blocked think Evans got about five blocks already Ellen's just about to say that I'm really trying to take this one away in this ever teen as talented as they are as very very aggressive and they related very off cuff a lot of times drop it down to Mayhew goes up 4-2 with contact gets it to go probably could have got a foul ball and we're tied at 1719 Jimmy no 1917 Everett with a lead ray who goes up and you're right they're not going anything let it go both last two buckets could have been an one attempts but the referees not blowing the whistle I don't hate it no Thompson
030easy too good passing near the baseline his second loop of the night Everett you noticing a two-point lead 2119 5:40 golden half Crowley Davies three off the mark may you already grabbing it bringing it back all nice steal by Luigi gonna stand in their brain you got follow those Mayhew his second to do not Mayhew it's gonna be on Belle Boras first [Music] Davy's will sit for a little bit as Morland where he enters little shout-out to Marlon Pinter my roommate from college all the way in Hartford Connecticut right now nice and he's watching he covers men's or boys and girls high school basketball as well he's in Connecticut again oh yeah yeah technology he texted me he said this game is lit and it is lit high-scoring rotting long to no good likely bringing
031it back offensive foul that's a Tommy point who took that rotting that Ronny Tommy a wide point there you go we're not to get too graphic for that in rotting earlier in the game he took another call he got an elbow right to the chest this time he takes a charge that follows unlikely that's it to me his second foul he's gonna have to start a GoFundMe page for Jordan rottens new body listen else that's also Evert six file so belly will be shooting on the bonus next foul with five minutes to go in the half though so again another reason start attacking terrain pulling up deep three can't get it to go 1 for 7 from the field is terrain marauding has his shot blocked Thompson has about three blocks already as Everett brings
032it down they're up by 2 trying to go up by more how many blocks as a team you think I'm gonna say 1200 right now that's no exaggeration that's just the first quarter putting the rain on skates can't get it to go though Crowley trying to come away with it we're gonna get a jump ball we've every ball I think nope never fall [Applause] inbounding it will be Campbell they get it out to Cooper Campbell in the corner tries to drop it off he does up fake and gets it to go number five it's Maitri his first two [Music] all right Everett apply for this they had biggest movie night so far 22:19 he gets it sent up a block it's coming the other way now boys she gonna pull up he is can't get
033it to go Ezri bomb luigi becomes beverly drops it off to rotting four-minute mark now in the first half left Moreland trying to put the hose on say it's get the clock again Thompson three possessions and reblogs they make a block like that I tell my kids hey it's still a ball the potholes in when we take the bottle bombs and right right now get a layup and look back at the crown go you doesn't mean nothing weak pass it deflected Abreu guarding Boise Boise missing an easy layup and watch by Abreu there can he get a timeout from Kara Cruz and probably wise his team looks gassed good good timeout by close catepillars and by the way speaking of Coach Carroll Curtis and his assistant also Jeff Donnie and his freshman JV coach Adam
034Rousseau they're doing a terrific job I think terrific job all in their first year here this is one of the better Beverly teams I have remember in recent history Beverly played hard all year they leave it on the floor they're impressed I mentioned earlier in the broadcast like came by a watch the practice and I was very impressed with the practice I was only for one hour and I think I told you before Alex that I taught that that team ran more in that one hour that I was there that my team ran in a week which I told you before yeah means that was too soft they hate you live and learn but they always play night with them the dawn for 2319 long way to go again we talk about concern those definitely
035trying to stay up with them yep I think belly still needs to look to run that they can but it's not the either gonna bring it back out settle it you go to the who strong some you know a lot of times they need to fake a little it but there's times when they're going to the hoop with it's hard to fake when you're Momentum's going full speed up like they've been going and they've been going well all those blocks have come with them driving to the hoop at full speed bounded by the time he's cross over it's gonna be a late foul call he's on the ground when they blew the whistle there yeah late call gonna be on Crowley that's the second we're gonna see Davies humping this Crimson Tide team out scoring
036Beverly so far in this second quarter nine to four [Applause] Jake is mrs. a first or two you get one more Lefty yo what's up flows left these olives I can't trust them alright my heads on a swivel whenever surprise surprise they blow the basket they didn't press her off very surprised at taking that press on terrain trying to come off the screen he can't get enough separation but bring you switches directions trying to go baseline he's foul it's gonna be a block one on alright to shoot one on one with 327 to go see that foul is on here it's gonna be on Jacob's I believe it is gonna be his first yep Jake it's his first seventh on the team Brae you already with ten points tonight that's 11 on the first ever
037one and one he had eight big ones in this first quarter gonna make it feet through tonight to stick around to gonna make these really 2 for 4 at the line tonight if I'm not mistaken [Applause] Beverly back to within three taking away easily by your brain he's got the rain with him he's gonna try to keep it himself in that spin move when he lost the ball on the spin move two points in transition for mater nothing rotting could really do with that one never back up five lone trying to come in quick at Thompson Thompson waiting for a block he gave him an extra fake and it's in for two and you said and give him an extra big and he did who's that Mullin Moreland Institute thrown off the glass Manor no
038good terrain board nice bounce pass the rotting but he can't handle that was a great pass from the rain on the money through two defenders why number the prep company had last year and Beverly played a very very strong team right toe to toe they don't want to me not that's what they're looking to tonight now remember watching that I was in Lowell we're gonna get a carry I was in Lowell I am shocked he called that which it was a carry but this day need then you know it see that in the NBA and we'll just take the ball just not running down the quality and the BHS fan squad with you can't do that chant it's universal alright we'll come up to the 2:30 my belly trail by three ray you off the
039glass high no good good tape had to get it over Thompson take a charge here guys blocked by Davies I just gonna be a foul called on Davis and Carriacou toises no not agreeing with it no I don't think so unless the other cause yelling he's over calling it yeah you're right another shout out to Adam Burt a writer for the nosebleeds a blog that I run he's also given us a watch who's this shooting here this is Campbell Channel mixing both his first two points in the game 2:20 left in the second quarter that was down five but Eva's biggest leave hadn't thought might lean twice tonight we struggle to score in this quarter only eight points after 15 in the first more in his voice I'm down couldn't finish it take coming to
040the two-minute not now two minutes traveled easy call you can't believe it but his see on the film no-brainer Tamara comes in for Moreland long and getting a well-deserved rest also 159 ago Beverly trails by 528 20 [Applause] Rawdon guarded by boys finds terrain maybe another three this is raining threes for Luigi terrain eight points for him Tess Felicia - um Jacobs three of his own no good offensive board who have already doubled rubber lip boys boys with that step back Shaun why he's the leading scorer in ever history goes again on 1800 points for a career he'll get over 2,000 by the end of this year 30 26 Beverly within four terrain coming off a screen another three up top front run voice grabs it he's already running poked away by de rain all
041the bombs and called the Camaro out of bounds but the rains did a great job trailing to poke that one away that was going to be some oxygen and a half time I think I'm gonna need some oxygen Jacobs started by a brave Kamara with the defense and in the face doesn't matter gamble knocks that one down for for him now all in this second quarter all right belly tells my six pray you gonna try to drive gets it off but he can't get it to go well far boy they really letting this go I'll tell you Jacobs from the stripe that's two characters might want to call a timeout I think he'll wait now is only 27 seconds he want to waste it down he got a foul on Jacobs in the corner off
042the ball one on one there for Abreu that's gonna be his second actually might be good file by ever if he misses the front part of this one-on-one another substitution number 23 Marcus Alexis a senior he's getting into the game this Abreu shootin the one-on-one again he made last time he shot it was a one-on-one and he made him both knocks down the first is one of them down 7 where you've got 13 points in this first half already makes it 14 with that free throw Everitt gonna hold for the last shot they lead 34 28 16 left in this first half but whether they score not right here at least right in the game worse they can reduce me down as they either a tonight three boys that one rolled around the rim rodding
043people matter so it was six points just a moment ago nine-point lead now for the Crimson Tide as they head into halftime and for Beverly you got to feel good only down nine at this point especially Beverly didn't play their best game at all a lot of turnovers and a lot of blocked shots if you can create more space from this ever team Beverly be doing a much better job in the second half getting shots off yeah they're right with them you know you give average defense a lot of credit because they've made a ton of blocks tonight and it did not block the shots they're getting the hand up and making Beverly the Altima shots and that's a big thing yeah break with 14 points in that first half he did pretty well the
044rain he has ate himself on the other side it's boys showing us what he has 12 points for him what do you thinks gonna happen in this third quarter which team you think is gonna come out Wow really not much to change for belly like I said just take him to the hoop I use your fakes showing the ball you know the old head and shoulders and be strong be strong it's a line that I would find that I'm gonna tell them play a little bit more aggressive maybe on defense because then letting it go yeah so play it tough all right at the end of the first half Beverly trails Everett 37-28 pay attention because at the beginning of the second half we're gonna have your all-time best forwards list for Beverly High School

050get the first hoop it oh I get tripped all right it's good get to a foul line routings gonna shoot you I think that fouls gonna be on [Music] Smith will see it is that's his first first on Smith thrusting the team rotting doesn't she'll appear and ask me Salih from the line also this year cuts to leave the eighth like some planets have a nice touch great free-throw shooting tonight for the Panthers rotting those rows first points tonight [Applause] 3730 Everett's first possession here after second possession after that steal from Ronnie trying to get it to boys floater in the lane couldn't get it to go blocked by my Crowley Beverly finally coming away with the rebound lucky not to give up another point or another bucket - boy we really let him play
051I'll tell you boys has it take a charge take it himself can't get it to go coming from behind right rayji Oh travel oh we got away - on three no wonder the big turn change likely now dishes a table set at once usually that was Jacobs two points 149 3650 left to play in the third quarter test Everett's first Oakland game from the same house keys we know we down nine when working on likely gets it out to Crowley Valley can stick this oh there he is where does he smith made me respect that shot the rest of the night Crowley now has seven leaves Donnell 639 33 Beverly's moved to the box and one I believe it's rotting that sticking voice not a bad idea like with the father you really should have
052been how are you gonna hold I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna get like Tommy Heinsohn now how are you not gonna call that elbow to the chest but you're gonna call that ticky TAC one I'm not happy who's the funny in that I don't know I don't care I'm living it's not good I don't like that if I was gonna kill on Abreu that's number two his second the first on the team especially Abreu foul on Smith okay let's see a brave try to redirect Smith shot again I bet you we won't all right sighs he's looking for this first point tonight it's a big boy isn't he he is get set the girl the second one one for two from the line forty thirty three Crimson Tide lead let's see a couple back-to-back threes
053right here Crowley maybe another three Smith now respecting that shot drops him in Wow on the floor I said it I said it Crowley's gonna get Smith to respect that I like I'm late sometimes this can be Smith's second foul second on the team [Applause] look for Crowley on this play right here no ray you mid-range from the corner well it's a tough shot to hit that low side come back quick steal rotting ends up with it is the right back drops it down the [Applause] yes ah we got an update on the girls game Beverly is up to 30 the 28th over and over it great off-balance shot Jacobs Jacobs Davies is gonna check in soon leaves back to 9 Sampson was a half-time plane even this quarter here Moreland gets tripped up gets
054it taken away it's likely pushes it up boys excuse me that's not boys can we cook time out here who's go that basket Alex Campbell knocked that one down and after exchanging buckets early on in the quarter Everett's taking control leads back up to 942 33 alright maybe we get those forward back up if we have time during the timeout here okay so we're gonna go the next page here on the forwards this is the one we just went through we're gonna go with Tom Hayes this is the Tom he's a graduate 84 was a quarterback on the football team the younger brother of Billy and Timmy Hayes who played with Peter win we get the Bates boys John and Mike they were both animals Steve the late Steve Kerr Lionel Dubois great ball player
055Mike Quebec was absolutely ninety-six excellent all-round ball player I think one of the best plays come out of here and class of 98 Tyler Bostick Davis statue David Tennyson then we got Matt Peterson Alice Clerkin Brian Tobin and Justin Reese and I believe George kalos must be on the bottom of that one it's George Callas I think is dom es class of 2011 was judge Callis big guy want to play UNH football and have a great career all right belly chose my eleven Everett's biggest lead pobre you round a screen from davies kicks it off to Doreen mid range jumper fallen away couldn't get it to go quickly and transition transition just like the whole night his boys no file will call there it's going to be cleaned terrain try to draw a charge and
056trying to draw another one I don't know how you can keep the whistle in your pocket any longer and I hate to be the guy to match some rest but I might do it in the fourth quarter this thing starts getting out of hand 4633 have his biggest least to a team three from the Braves the haters 17 points for the young feller 426 left to go all right quick timeout by Beverly again [Applause] see Beverly going over some things and you mentioned it Everett much deeper they use a lot more subs and as this games going on it seems to be wearing down on the Panthers they've only subbed to players in Kamara and Davies the only two to come off the bench well we talked about that being one with concerns about Everett
057just went belly down because Beverly really looks gassed out there I think that's why calculus has already used to quick time outs but you got to use when you count you get you got them I can't stand how football has more timeouts in basketball I mean they get like high school I don't get it it's it's good go figure right they get five and a half now I think those five is three full timeout in 222 30-second timeout but there's still time out you know it's 10:00 in the game basketball you can see the pace here guess I think three three or four in a game I'm not I'm not gonna say anything but I just saw some of the ever players acting really friendly with the ref I don't know maybe read into it
058they were tapping each other up that's no joke Crowley coming away with that is you got a Duncan just inferno they take you to good movie crowns get five this half likely they always go down at eight now into the corner it's Jacobs dishes it up that we kick 4638 356 to go in the third quarter if you just joined us and if you did just join us will you bet exactly got a nice crowd on a Friday night Alex like we talked about earlier fill them pretty good over there Jacobs guarded by Davies in the corner boys turn around Jay you're not Colby by the way ever it's playing Len English next Friday week from tonight that's gonna be a heck of a game yeah he knows that to be both great ballgame English
059again the team that beat Beverly this year plenty of time [Applause] rotting around the screen trying to get it to a Brady says little time nice touch oh geez boy that look good for me up baby Crowley all Crowley can't send us we've got a beautiful pass by Davies we mentioned earlier this kid it's a great pass up I swear he gets more satisfaction out of a nice pass by the way I got a C Philly after the games him any points he wants to give me for Sunday okay I'm Shelby pulling teeth we got Mark layman on camera tonight also he's a die-hard philadelphi Mike really diehard I was talking to him about it a halftime all right Matt it's gonna be miserable smart play there by Crowley to be miserable in whose favor
060that's what exactly if you're Mark Wahlberg is you're in the same situation apparently doesn't care if the Eagles win all right I'm gonna take your man card 308 left to go in the third all right belly can get this down to six or even five with the Opia come up to the 3-minute mark Donny Bray you going to the hoop travel there are a we called dragon foot [Applause] I would like to know of these refs are GDL roughs I would I would I would venture a guess and say yeah Travel their unlikely EHS fan squad finally starting to get into it a little more [Applause] 249 left Beverly looking to get something going turnover on their last possession and that noise actually you here is the Everett fans you know you should read my
061mind all they got the belly fans and they have a fence sitting all together yeah vert fans just looking for trouble it is less trouble for trouble I don't understand why I don't have the other kids go the other side of the gym it's a big gym that's one thing I don't like about not having stands on both sides there's not a problem with that that's my head but it's the Beverly fans you got a man up Davies for three can't get it to go your Beverly fans you're gonna just got to be louder and don't start a fight you can't finish exactly have a kids are pretty tough kids [Applause] boys trying to drop it down to Thompson there we go there's a VHS Vince what I know likely ill-advised shots and I'm gonna
062go to LA now oh he found I think I think the ref found his whistle he found it like Lee's gonna shoot two [Applause] and thank you all to the camera operators we have mark layman we have Rufus all we also have Victoria and Caitlyn on camera so again thanks to Robert Doakes as always producing behind the scenes and Zack gallant on graphics and they've been tremendous tremendous job by the girls likely shooting the centrifuge Oh mr. mole come on Beverly go get the ball and support boys deep three last touched by I was like alright this stilt on a snowstorm foe for a while belly to him I ate two or four to go in the third quarter the Braves coming in for rotting good job I'm at roaring Beverly actually else going Evert
063in this third quarter I'll tell you one thing else these pelvic isn't on sleep good tonight oh yeah Doreen guarded tightly by bailed org well it's a tough shot when you go into your left you want that right hand trying to grab it from boys goes by three defenders Abreu man's him up now nice pass gets it to go Thompson with six tonight first points scored in this game in about a minute and a half as the game came to a standstill for a little bit there only now who's down nine a halftime the gone ten now bring you up and under couldn't get it to go for Ally couldn't grab the board boys coming the other way now could have been called for a travel there he wasn't foul on Davies I believe on
064the floor Davy's that's gonna be his first who's the first day on the following all before Davey's just now Alice did you catch that the file before this one that's Davis for Stevie second that was it so that the last two were on Davies terrain with the steel he has come or he's gonna take it himself help if he needs it floater Moreland tips it over to the rain who can't complete the shot its voice again a lot of bad passes going on in this third quarter this games getting real sloppy with a minute left to go on the third one on the go Ronnie's gonna enter back in it's gonna give Luigi a little blow 4838 evident with the lead and the ball [Applause] stoppage for mr. breech minute now we're back in action
065last minute in the third quarter likely working on Kimora blocked from behind by Moreland likely complaining about no foul but I'll show you four five one all off his leg it's only been about two points doing what the last two minutes they Ellis that's right yeah exactly was that - from Thompson the only 638 for quite a while slow down it seems like these teams really their emotions are taking over this third quarter and a lot of turnovers a lot of sloppy play as I'm finally sitting for the first time this game offensive foul on voice give me his second 22:13 terrain quickly back in he gets Kamala Crowley in as well he's gonna take out rotting see as we know he's going to take out Davis so you get the starting five out there
066for the last 42 of the third [Applause] voice is going to take a seat taking a long time for me off the court coach couldn't Corral is player [Applause] likely almost taken that one away from rotting anything his assignment 18 in the shot clock terrain to Moreland we're gonna get a defensive foul on 15 Bell board it's gonna be his second fourth on the team wrack up these fouls now against me gonna be shooting free-throws in the fourth [Applause] all the seen the files on 13 okay it's on maybe to second so that was like the last shot here down 10.9 a half-time ray you roll it over to me who could have been called for a carry there they quickly get it up likely can't get it Thompson can't either that's that at the
067end of three nan Thurs trailed 4838 who are down by nine at halftime in the beginning of that third quarter it it started out pretty quickly just like the rest - you said it there was about a two to three minute period or only long times were sport [Applause] well bunny time left to a go to hoe quarter down ten it's always a game on runs no one's really made that big run yet it's been you know five-point lead belly cut it down and get too low ten points you got it back down to six so then back and forth a lot so we'll see where we go here again we talked about the fatigue setting it on Beverly now all right I'm gonna send their starters out to begin the fourth and even when
068they've made subs only to again Davies and Kamala Davies has played good amount of minutes but kymaro's come in in spurts he hasn't really stayed out there to give anybody really enough of a breather though probably have them feel confident about going back in you know I'm looking at the Everett school scorchy here they've really only gone with about eight kids really those monies I thought they're gonna I thought maybe they'd be maybe you know 10 along with kids in and out yeah well it isn't they have over there look alright so Billy's down 8 you know it's gonna get the ball won't get that first hoop this quarter voice is starting the fourth quarter on the bench don't last long likely leading the charge that will be passing a 2-3 zone now I know
069this three from the corner from the senior in and out rebound Crowley and make ever beat me from the outside but with dick cook lesson going you know they haven't had to settle for 3-point shot defense from likely creates a nice steal by likely you're all Luigi give me his first [Applause] what on a team 14 so for 14,000 likelies all for 5 from the line tonight Alex it's only got 2 points and there was that dunk yeah the first quarter problems rights just two points and somewhere right now my good buddy Marlon Pinter is uttering the phrase free throws are free Nell off of the rebound Oh 7:22 on the game novel voice checks in now for Alexis voice calling for it in the corner dishes it off to Thompson rebound to Ranger reigns
070done a good job yeah good call good call swans on belt or that is a second Beverly already shooting one and one this is huge seven minutes ten seconds left to go in the fourth Beverly shooting 101 and the double bonus the rest of the quarter wide missed a couple files because I only head them off for their fifth foul there so but that's okay we'll take it I don't mind being wrong this situation be these free throws Duran can't get the first of the 101 coming the other way like me don't go yet this quarter Thompson Jacobs working on Moreland likely now tell you ever it's like a different team when that's that zone don't they Thompson eight points for him bucket in each quarter he's got about eight blocks to [Applause] wall and
071escapes like Lee's pressure redirect but nice job I'm all a nice jobs gonna draw a foul all right no gonna be another team foul ball in shooting two won't win only two points tonight he's really been neutralized the offensive sign that bucket came in the second quarter was on that up fake wallings gonna shoot a pair here first was no good [Music] Blue Boy ball just won't drop that Lisa says last free-throws at only miss some wine the first half likely looking for Boise Jacobs in the corner now driving dishes it off Mayhew with contact gets it to go nice soup okay Dom 14 gonna make a run here now six months ago will step back to the rain deep three yes drains the help 11 points for the captain Beverly cuts it to within
07211 timeout I believe called by Beverly actually all right that way he knows only has one timeout left and what's that safe over there five for every they have any news a timeout yeah alright so if it's got all five timeouts Beverley only has one left that could be big factor coming down the key can you roll pelvic trails by 11 everyone's gonna the ball coming out of the timeout let's see if we can get another update on the girls go here see the Everett puddle there they're sending out lightly Mayhew Jacobs Thomson and voice very complimentary five here for the Crimson Tide alright just on the six minutes 558 to go just suited for my man Jeff Bryson and paddle Lando back home watching the game big miss rotting with the rebound he comes
073Crowley after rotting Davies Davies for three good good then look this soon as I left his hand that's Davies first bucket of the game couldn't come at a more important point cuts the lead down to eight five and a half left to go in the fourth Panthers got to get a stop here like each slop here they're looking to run a screen and boys got away with a push off ball oh there Kurt Thompson boys got away with a vicious push on rotting just kid Thompson's tough back to ten [Applause] to rain another three deflected by oh we get three great rows kasnian Thompson also gonna be the ninth foul so Bella's gonna shoot double bonus with 458 to go in the game we just gonna get three just as good [Applause] just got a
074girl or Alice with four months ago in the game I'll never it the Evert girls are leading by two 51 to 49 Thank You the Tim Moreland for the update Duran makes the second one key free throws missed the first on a 101 earlier in the quarter [Applause] [Music] all right so you mix two out of three leads down to eight drains got 13 likely trying to put the moves on rotting doing his best to always almost had it Beverly ball I think no did enough to don't have a call here definitely ball off the foot of likely alright 437 let go nobody's down eight what basket back please I'll tell you when I lose on Alex Billy's a nice job tonight if it's gonna leave him knowing they were in football game wanna lose
075it's worth noting Evert in the d1 Beverly in Division two because of Strauss eyes bill calm this is not a team Beverly would see in tournament play Panthers aren't making it easy for the Crimson Tide no they're not not all gone toe to toe with them Allyson timeout first one all game for the Crimson Tide Beverly trailing e 5446 for 16 left to go in the fourth also I also know I noticed that with prom boys back in the game Bella's gone back to that box and one on him so they're playing a 2 2 zone and they've got a man man on man on boys I think they've been I think Louise you might have been on and just now I think the ultimate in him and not Matt running there both gasp I
076think they're switching back and forth Carriacou is talking to his squad abraão it's gonna still be on the bench here after this timeout [Applause] so belly is all scored every eight to six this quarter hey you see my man Billy jaws a custodian down there Billy is the best I'll tell you I'm so good to me every somewhat make camps and came a Nam sweet Billy judge played playground baseball for use on one heck of a baseball player good man for 18 remaining Panthers need to stop likely guarded by Moreland looking down loaded Thompson deflected by Davies may who ends up with it ends up sending a back out to likely 10 seconds on the shot clock don't follow him el nopal likely drive can't get it to go can't get his second holiday if
077it's an offensive board for the tide I'm gonna use all the clock they can think that was this game has been out big fail of two ever is out on the point all they're gonna get cheap foul call not if I let Nicole hope for us out there that was the cheapest call seen all night we get there L up serene his second yes fifth on the team and down quickly to Thompson likely voice in the corner quick step off off everyone again voice has been off this second half and Abreu is gonna check in pretty soon likely driving again floater can't get it to go offensive board finally gets the second point of the game for second is that likely that was likely [Applause] Lee's bath 210 again Moreland almost loses it quickly for
078Halloween infer to arrange music the rain now with 15 tonight 7 and the fourth he's come up huge and crunch time for the Panthers I probably hit the mic come out and go man the man pretty so now it's coming down with just three under three minutes now eight-point lead can't let Everett just hold the ball for 30 seconds every time down and what's it come on balls is that Euro step rebound Davies it was huge get them off boy said I'm not be good all right teams gonna shoot you to here rivalries gonna be a jump ball it's actually gonna be a foul on boys yeah he's a boys it is too little too late excuse me just good oh they get this is fourth time that's wrong so boys has four and he
079struggled in the second half he's been off his game cousin school this half is he he's not after scoring 13 in that first half zero points for boys Oh magnificent these rituals [Applause] [Music] Jaimee's knocks down the second leads down to seven all right we concession ballgame bellies still sitting in that box the one knob those boys out nope voices still he's doing there yeah they got rotting on rotting boys has been pushed and rotting off all night Moreland leaves his assignment when he misses a shot last touched by the tide I think barely my toccata what they did to two minutes and thirty seconds two and a half minutes ago Beverly trails by seven [Applause] voice on rotting take the pick from Crowley nice day back to a fog water likely is that he
080gonna use your up fate that's the time you got a fake terrain getting up closer to likely he gets by him with ease finger roll off the glass get it duck to go with our left hand likely be back up tonight two minutes left to go two minutes alright look up a 3 3 cm got a go then adult Braves in Iraq he couldn't put it home everything is a little clocking out no break [Music] [Applause] ever pop [Applause] the pebble you got to pick up me on the man here time all Everett the second time oh they got plenty of him why not use them a minute and a half left to go in the fourth well again like I said earlier you know want to lose Beverley's play tough they went toe to
081toe with this team and this is one of the top teams in Division one so this game still not over while he has some time why don't we take a look at the team's out of clinched and the rest of the teams in the d2 North Beverly after their win to clinch along with all Newton and Wolverine you see those both coming out of the Middlesex conference and the rest of the teams down below again Everett in the d1 North Beverly would not be seeing them in the playoffs [Applause] want to talk about the end of the regular season now that was gonna host Valeri McIntyre board 130 basketball hoop tournament here and the four teams are going to be Beverly Gloucester master nominee Bishop Fenwick I know boys belly we plant them up the
082first game master omelette Gorgons pasta that girl's team after she walked lost abide no masking lammott fine what can Beverly three very good team so she'd be good all wrong tournament both boys and girls that's gonna be thick around the 1918-19 is 18th and not your favorite 18th which is a Sunday and then Monday the 19th likely okay with Donald it away about Billy yeah they've gone me in the man now like like we talked about and they need three threes you got to get a stop here first likely fadeaway jumper no good Crowley couldn't handle it saved by the tide they all about last at all right you got 120 to go you down nine you get this is no brand you got to go for threes now yep you gonna lose you miss
083you miss but you make it you give yourself a shot if you could get a quick two points and press and look for steal but if it's pretty good a flaw very quick Toyland thought about a three he'll drive instead lost it as he went up we go there's gonna be a foul on the Panthers offensive it's on to really G [Applause] its third six on the team so ever shoot 101 the foul [Applause] 1:12 the gold Beverly down nine who PA puts it all region terrain might be coming out he seems a little hurt might a lot says lost the tooth he's got blood in his mouth your bloody nose will see tomorrow is gonna come in for him [Applause] [Music] good defense my calamari they're all nice steal my Crowley you look for
0843zf Kamara go you look at the who go look for the hook you got to go just over a minute left yeah gotta get a shot off moorland for three just awesome I'm gonna shoot it brought me a lot involved who do you want to win down the other end now if ever something foul belly everyone she 101 Davey's gonna report back in why don't one that she was to get him in right now Luigi's gonna report back and Davey's gonna sit back down and now Davis is back up coming in for Crowley one minute to go exactly nine-point lead [Applause] likely who was not made a free-throw yet he's shootin a 101 for six I believe one for 11 but he makes the big one that should put it away right there bellies up
085excuse me bellies down ten one minute to go the hoop just a little bigger fall there it is Ronnie 62-49 down 11 Davies for three in the corner off the mark may who rebound throws it in their voice now with it he's got two Panthers draped all over them Abreu gonna get the jump ball call [Applause] and I go to Peverley [Music] [Applause] Don 11:40 6.9 seconds Moreland looking he's gotta get that to terrain he does likely coming in there he steals it another jump ball this one's gonna go to Everett you know it's going to Everett [Applause] 44 seconds left referees conversing [Applause] don't see anybody leaving you haven't we still sticking around all the fans [Applause] likely inbounding it I think it's gonna be a foul on the floor on a brave Brady
086who's looking for hook he's not going to get that call at this stage ever shoot 101 again but Jacob shooting Jacobs at the line shooter 101 11-point lead 41 seconds so belly I believe next game now Tuesday night they'd be going out to Medford and then we'll be back here next Friday will be wheat tans come back and come into town Jacobs 101 first ones up and good [Applause] okay Jakob's knocks down the second and we're gonna get a timeout she smells a good time institution let's look at the road ahead for the penalty just talking about it at Medford Tuesday home games against Peabody in Revere then they're gonna be at Marblehead three from the corner from Bray you know I thought they were in a time out there all right 31 seconds I
087think Bell was gonna play it out dog no fouls 13 point game likely gets it to voice [Applause] when boys huge first-half 18 to be 13 points none of the second half he's going to take a three here can't get it to go what's that Lord see if Beverly actually goes for a shot of he'll just try to hold it and they'll turn it over two point four left final score is gonna be 62 for Everett 49 for the Panthers although we might see the Crimson Tide heave one up who knows and I would think so they'll drill off the clock the Panthers lose this the Crimson Tide 62-49 Beverly stayed with Everett in the first half but eventually the Crimson Tide took over down the stretch the brave no points in the fourth quarter
088but he'll finish with 17 to reign at a huge fourth quarter he had seven totaled 15 on the night Crowley added nine himself but he saw Boise in the first half he was scoring Panthers were really close and then he didn't scored all the second half and Everett just took away well I like what Kara kouddous did I'll make the strategy coming out on the halftime that was the you know stop boys and boys and school basket didn't have a point in the whole second half but like good most good teams of the kids stepped up Thompson stepped up with eight points four baskets in the second half so give credit they're a good team I mean they're 13 and 1 now for a reason yep and we thought it was gonna be a barn
089burner the score 62 49 not really a barn burner here for a boys high school basketball it is a little high scoring but you saw in that second half the whole game slowed down uh well I'll tell you I like what Belva did tonight I think they went to the game nothing to lose they're putting a good Division one team this is a good you know getting closer to the end of the season now this is only gonna help them in the long run the belt is gonna be fine like we talked about they get Medford next week out there and then they get PB coming in so just uh look for method right now take one game at a time and go from the Appel right now so at what yeah here we go
090Bell atcha all right Beverly now stands at ten on four they do nothing to sneeze about nope so for Tom Donovan I'm Alex Luke oh thank you for the camera operators mark Rufus Kaitlyn in Veronica who excuse me Victoria Robert Doakes behind the scenes with Zach gallant and we'll see you I believe in a week or so all right mm-hmm see you on Friday that's Friday go Pat's Victoria can you hear [Music]
