001[Music] hello everyone and welcome inside the gymnasium here on campus at Beverly High School as we get set for Beverly versus Salem we have girls basketball on hand Salem coming in this game at 2:00 and 11 Beverly seven and four I'm Dominic Lorenzana alongside my partner here Dan Lorenz on oh it's good to be back isn't it yeah got an exciting rivalry game here you know I know the standings might not show it so much but it's a rival game you never know what can happen in these games should be exciting should be indeed Beverly coming off back-to-back wins a 60 48 victory over Gloucester so they've they've rebounded well since that tough loss against classical they have but the of a big big testament didn't have Moreland tonight she's kind of the leader of
002that team in terms of rebounds and kind of setting the offensive defense for them so we'll see how they change with that Moreland coming off a 9 points 16 rebounds and four blocks game in that 6248 win against Gloucester the previous games to Anderson and Bernard both have come on strong so we'll see hopefully they continue that without Moreland she is big piece of that but it'll be a good test the rivalry game that brings up the best in everyone absolutely Beverly looking for that complete performance today had a little trouble we heard in that you know that last game sixteen - at one point but they were able to storm back and when it shows a lot of character with the team so you know this bigot game we got to keep focused don't
003look at the standings you know keep the foot on the gas keep it going absolutely so we're just about a minute a half away from game time here as you can see the warm-up for the most part of ended everyone going to their benches to get this one under hand [Music] you're as interested we're talking about that complete performance issue and stuff like that and we've seen them struggle before too when more of them leaves the floor yeah we saw that the swamps of game we said Swampscott game yeah they struggled they're in a little bit with the under she had some foul trouble lost that second quarter in that game Carrera is the only senior actually on the starting lineup to Salem tonight that is the guard freshman Griffin [Applause] everything off perfectly by
004the way mr. Chu 17 15 points on our own Bernardo real big 117 points five rebounds [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Beverly JRTC is leaving the floor and we're just about ready to get this game out on their hand [Applause] so Rosie Gaucho will go up against Beltre in the absence of morally as we've mentioned before to get this game underway and we are off the tip is gonna go out of bounds Salem will start with the ball Canton on the inbound for the freshman I'm sorry now that's Korea a senior I'm gonna vulture a little trouble handling it gets it back puts up a shot it's not gonna go and Anderson gets the rebound now Audrina back to Anderson thinks about a shot another gosh to Beaudry inside good look for Barnard and she gets it
005great moving with the ball they're working their way out to any they really swung the ball on the outside and they got Bernardo very easy look and she picks up right where she left off past there that looked like it was going for Griffith I don't know what she thought she saw there but God stuck that hand of the way Beaudry goes all the way down the floor no foul called there can't get a little layup Salem coming back hurry it takes it all the way up the floor forces one a bit it's not going to go and spray comes down with the rebound Boujis gonna go away all the way up the floor and she's gonna draw foul Beverley great start you saw so I'm trying to go on the inside without moral and
006already early didn't work for them not sure it's really gonna work too well for them believe that was Dominguez with the foul here I got the wrong number though from the book so if it is Dominguez so that's Sprague at the top of the key contested shot hey dr. D should someone open on the outside the ladies play with two different colored shoes I don't know if that's an injury it's difficult to see if is there any rapping or anything so that's when the replacements putting up a long three air balls it completely Brea comes out of nowhere tries to save it but it's gonna go right to Beverly what beautiful pass by growed you in the Gaucho but she couldn't get so easy layup they still have the ball beau those.we puts up a
007shot I thought was gonna go was he comes down with the rebound and draws the foul good stuff only either without Marlon here looks like Gaucho is controlling the inside a little bit just grabbed a couple of rebounds already for them yeah she'll go to the line here most find like what Beverly's done already offensively passing the ball room trying to get open looks not being over light and she drains her first three nothing is the lead right now for the Panthers and she drains them both to stretch the lead out to for nothing [Applause] Correia from way outside not gonna go too strong Gogi grab that rebound for not everything sorry pass goes out of bounds it was tipped so it'll remain Panthers ball a little under six minutes to go here in this
008first quarter for nothing yes it's kind of sink very early here [Music] Panthers looking like they're trying to play very fast on offense do something we haven't seen all the time Anderson's hard to drive in there but had it stripped Beltre grabs it and gives it to Correa Salem looking to slow things down she looks like she's getting a play calling from her coach signals to the rest of the offense now the freshman Griffin with the ball gives it up shot from the outside again off the glass not going to go in Salem grabs the rebound [Applause] rheya had a decent look there had to go right off the front rim Anderson tried to grab that ball but slid her foot was out of bounds so we remain with the witches good defense by Beverly
009soon a little questionable shot I thought she got a play in from her coach from Springs they took a long three and maybe it wasn't there you know we're not down there we don't know what they call baby but it's very questionable the shot so far even without even without Moreland Salem cannot really establish anything inside Anderson from the outside we know she can shoot just a little off that time code you grab that read onto Bernard back to Anderson's from the three again but this time she is not shy to shoot though could have been parea takes it all the way up the floor nothing inside again Beaudry has some open options but she sides it has taken herself and she gets a very poor transition defense by Selma they did not try to
010get back and all of that I thought Bochy was gonna pass the one of those I look actually yet you know she had three on two but though the witches defender over ran the ball and Bochy was able to get that easy layup six nothing our score inside the Beltre turnaround airballs nothing there or not grab that rebound out of Beaudry inside the Gaucho couldn't quite get her balance over get a shot off swinging the ball on the outside right now but as you thought about the shot now drives in has it swatted away by Beltre though it's a possession grabs her own rebound it's going to be a jump ball though great start for Beverly Salem just likes out of sorts offense especially offense I'm not sure what their game plan is [Applause] [Music]
011really looks like hooray is dealing with something a little thank Allah she won't need she grabs I read that now and puts the first points on the board in the Salem but the three and a half way marks left Anderson drives a little bit stops she gets on the board with her four ports first points of the day it's eight two Panthers Beverly trying to be aggressive again on defense we saw him earlier in the year to that they do play a very aggressive defense Koch grab that rebound Beaudry try to try all the way hit before but not that time jump ball got the foul called on Sprague that's the first team foul on Beverly so far I really is really pushing the pace trying to get those transition points this is a lot
012faster on offense that we're seeing them play that I can really remember we've seen the play all yeah usually they kind of like slow things down and move the ball and some very crisp pass we've seen them just flip the floor completely Bernard steals that one gonna go all the way and that's a hard foul she takes a spill on that one well tradition even try and hide it traditionally Beverly's office we usually see it see the play inside out with its like to try to get more in the open jumpers drive it to the lane and they've been successful so far they've also been very good at transition Salem's defense transition he has not been there I think they're trying to out athlete them I think they can so that's Bernard in and out
013that time [Music] [Applause] it's the bolt but they get their rebound those we thought a lot of outside shots are not gonna happen though Anderson has it stops gives it back to go jury drives on the inside beautiful passing on the interior but that ball swatted away boy quick call that was a quick call I didn't even really see that much of a toss off of the ball I thought she just cleanly swatted away and went somewhere and the ball which is correct they almost give it the Salem Beaudry from the corner with a three it's 11 to now Panthers see sim to try to get something established here on offense he really struggled out of sync there I think she thought Correa was gonna continue to go and then she stopped but they will
014maintain possession of the ball at least 11 to our Sports youth 19 left to play in this first quarter and we see this from Beverly why especially in the first quarter see they are very good at giving up the fast kick starts and they've done that again he's getting their hands in on every pass every shot just completely not worried ago getting blown by nothing playing in their phase defense Salem kind of switches to a press here [Applause] and that swaddle a will go Trudy say Marie I'm not sure the press would be best for still if you remember the width of gaming played primarily press in the first afternoon Mowgli gave me that first half and they tried to press yet some initial success early on and then and then as soon as Beverly
015figured it out it was really a hindrance to the wind birth the defensive front but right now you know Salem needs to do anything they can to get as many possessions as possible as a long outside shot by Griffin it's too strong that false waterway by bogey they're stealing balls all over the place and the charge is called on her though I believe nope look it was a blocking foul that is on Canton the sophomore for Salem that'll bring Beaudry to the line just off the mark there on that first one tough quarter for Beverly on the free throws I believe that's the third one they've missed already yeah three gosh got the first two of the game and they have missed three three straight but she drains the second and it opens things up
016to an even ten point lead now for the Panthers [Applause] Freyja looking back at the bench and now signaling everywhere on the floor I don't know them moving without the ball by Salem they tried to force that ball in the truth Beverly defenders there that did not work out Salem gets the ball back the Salem office really does look like it flows through career low as imagine she's the only senior on the floor and that pass does get away from her even minutes ago 12 to our score again Beverly always take that fast in their games we'll see how they go in the second quarter that's kind of when they go into the low let's see if we said looking for that complete performance tonight so hopefully they keep their foot on the gas [Music]
017[Applause] Anderson drives inside then stops puts up a shot floated there on the top of the rim for a bit but didn't want to go in under a minute left to go Salem has done not much on offense as Beverley defense has been tough as we've seen all season even without Worland giving up no easy shots on the interior we would have a cluster there tried to put up the shot but it was swatted away now Anderson goes up the floor easy layup for 13 to 2 there's second [ __ ] are they different pauses thought about a pass and then throws it away let's look Becky Anderson now and what a great way to in that first quarter for the Panthers there were up 16 - to defend I like how many points they put up
018at the end of that because you know we watch them dominate most of the game but then I look up and it only be 10 to 2 when that was like yeah should be more but well they they ended that very nicely what kids are then you have from Beverly right now it's without whirl and they are struggling on the glass Salem has gone quite a few offensive rebounds on their possessions Salem though unfortunately it looks like they're not sure what their game plan is on offense Herrera is the one they're trying to flow through but and some of their shot selections I just are questionable right now and Beverly's defense giving credit they're not made it easy for them several turnovers by Beverly they're getting their hands out getting in the passing lanes -
019she did Wade's and I'm making life difficult for something and offensively Beverly they're really trying to push the place they're really trying to use their defense to create office trying to get some transition going what's the best word I would I would use for the look of Salem's offense and that awkward yeah that's a pretty good way to put it just absolutely awkward I mean sometimes the not sure if they're trying to take the three-point shot if they're trying to go inside you know I should give them credit I think they've tried very hard to go inside it's just there's just been nothing there and then they're forced to take bad shots a little bit better ball movement I've seen from this one Griffin on the inside there you go that's probably the Salem best
020offensive possession of the night easily 16 for now Anderson thought about it stops what's up a floater not gonna go she does that well that little think about the long shot stop take a couple more steps freeze and put up the drug and the witches on the board with another point first possession of the game they'd pass the ball very very well God easy shot got two points out of it I'm kind of wondering is the good tribe do that again Anderson did that move it again that little stop on the outside get the defender to come then take two steps to the other side freeze and shoot pulls that off perfectly oh boy that was ugly Anderson's going up the floor oh she hesitated on the pass there it was there the team speed
021by the way - is the other big factor we're seeing in them I've never these just going up and down the court they're going up and down the corporate they're rushing a little bit hit that last position by Anderson with a little ugly it looks like she's just kind of hesitated on her decision-making there one of those it's so open it's like it supposed to be all the way up before it's fine beautiful so many transition points for the Panthers in this 126 our score [Applause] [Music] [Applause] freshman Griffin put up the shot airbag [Applause] [Music] and Correia is gonna come back in the game she's gonna replace the freshman Griffin Beltre also checking out for Salem is another possession by sale I'm not sure they passed into the corner inch Charlie got trapped and
022had no point no choice but to throw up kind of a prayer absolutely Brad drove to the interior you a foul let's see what PA announcer said that it was an and-one I haven't seen the scoreboard change yet here I'm gonna trust that he got it right on the floor though that's mr. Reardon on the public dress as always what they called that he got a right to just like I said he would he's great Beaudry put up a fight there she gets through it driving inside and that's the foul Beverly is really determined right now then they got the outside shot working with a nursin and they're really trying the Dominguez again on the foul for Salem that's her second [Applause] too strong on the heart shot [Music] [Applause] [Music] and that dried basketball
023the monitor really really messed up my vision so even with the big lead Beverly still struggling here bit in the second quarter the law it's the law so we're talking about 540 - we got 540 left in this game 29 our score and there's not looking quite as crisp here in the second quarter did you have a not all the starters are in by the way those who that's part of it a long three it'll look good too in an out though Correa grabbed that rebound and now she slows it down when Beverly that was McCarthy on the shot there for Beverly who's on the floor replacing Bernard and the layups not going to go Bakey from the outside not gonna go where that time either the other three-point shooter by the way for Beverly
024to as we've seen it Anderson looks like she's getting ready to check back into the game on that rebound but said what she looked to me as another open look but it's not going to go the initial one right in the back corner you know with that little squares on the floor she had an open look Clojure all the way at the floor draws the foul [Applause] variety thing when I looked in the score sheet it's a 21 was Dominguez but I believe that there Beverley needs to when the transition is not there for them then really needs to just settle down the half-court when they're able to pass and share the ball they're really getting some great open looks when they're not rushing in Anderson's been able to make a few shots 101 in
025isolation and she's back on the for now yeah well when they're when they're passing the ball in the outside of Henry change just can't keep up with it [Applause] more moving without the ball here without Dominguez on the inside against dodge swatted away see them gets the rebound but no clear shot there and definitely eventually gets the ball Anderson one dribble stop and shoot air-balled at that time all the way up the floor Griffin cannot handle the past Beaudry takes it the other way beautiful pass they Anderson another transition point for Beverly and that's I'm didn't rush it bogie saw everything in front of her got the defender to commit to her and then a beautiful pass they Anderson travel there aren't Correa everybody gets the ball back still had to get started rolling wrong
026remember scored on their first two possessions quickly had the N one and now it's just back to Concord offense like he said awkward Brook too strong Spray brook again from three bricks not being shy she absolutely not we've seen her hit plenty of those Korea all the way up the floor nice we done 24:11 [Applause] Panthers tried to catch Salem sleep in that time not quite Anderson from the corner look good but not going to go I'll try inside working against spray mopping therefore our so she kicks it outside and the travel far so 2:45 left to go in this second quarter Panthers re-establishing the dominance after after the quick two baskets by the witches to open up the quarter lackluster start by them Anderson from the corner beautiful shot 27:11 our score now Anderson
027having herself a nice game with the outside shooting about the foul line not going to go in and a reach-in foul on Beltre will give the Panthers possession of the ball again Salem over the limit so Salem over the limit now so that'll send Sprague to the line you know that really has to be careful good to strong the witches can't handle the rebound and the painful so get the ball right back Beverly's got to be a little careful they've been struggling this game with their free throws but the six are setting already in the scheme they got to be careful because if sailing decides to start kind of hacking and finally the clock is gonna stop on them Beverley has had two free throws with my husband struggling to do that the skin [Applause]
028three up the floor looking for got she was going out of bounds but he able to control herself to get the ball back out for an art on the inside has its waterway about Beltre gets her own rebound so Anderson thought about the shot not gonna happen boy no foul called there I thought that could have been physical defense money before absolutely let them play Beaudry not gonna go hit this get another rebound Anderson from the outside she can shoot can't shake and fun to watch pull hard on that past there and it's going to lead to an easy four Beaudry so far today without Moreland it's been Beaudry on the inside especially on transitions with layups Anderson doing her thing as she always does on the outside but the three-point shooting the offense still
029looks very deadly I mean 32 points in this first half still got her mins ago and Letcher they put up 32 and a half before hey you're right actually not the one that we announced at least that's why we get paid the big bucks absolutely and Bernard gets in on the action there 234 11 under a minute to go here in the first half so far did a very much a complete performance by the Panthers both quarters Beltre nothing there Salem gets the rebound now that's Griffin on the outside with the ball right now trying to direct traffic shot too strong OOP Beaudry tried to save it but couldn't quite twelve seconds to go we'll go back to the witches though a question to have a Beverly's former safari so far they've given up a
030lot of offensive rebounds without Moreland but I mean it hasn't hurt him still until we got 11 points so far it's lugging a say 11 and the defense other than the offensive rebounds have been great they've been a lot of transition points Anderson again there was a dribble two steps freeze and shoot so that'll bring this first half to an end Panthers not disappointing 36:11 our score I'll do a quick thing of what you saw and then we'll go to the break here just domination that wasn't word for it defense was great anderson seems like she's leading the score and especially in that second quarter one team looks more organized has a game plan more athletic the other team just unfortunately doesn't look I'm not sure they I mean seven and four or two and
03111 Beverly doing what they need to do exactly all right so we'll sign off here and we'll get you back out for the second half in just a few 3611 our score again great first quarter for the Panthers [Applause] [Music] you are watching Bev cam here anyone can come to the studio to make their own local TV show contact us with your idea we'll help you get started with producing your own show editing it and then we'll broadcast it to all of Beverly for your friends and family to see you might even get some new fans we also film local events like sports music city council meetings and more if you miss out on anything in town you can catch up on it here follow us on Facebook and Twitter contact us at nine seven

033somewhere [Music] the words we say the things we do that can grow into something else what was small and innocent can become big and sometimes scary all it takes is one comment one picture one video for something to catch fire but a big problem doesn't need a big response not at first even if we don't know what to say the eye emoji can be that first step we take let's all pledge to take that first small step together and change the world in a big way I am a witness and so are you creativity is putting your imagination to work and it's produced the most extraordinary results in human culture [Music] dreams come from inspiration inspiration comes from an idea and ideas come from creativity we believe in raising up a new generation of creative
034minds and it all starts with you helped sponsor the award-winning Beverly High School meeting program so the students can have the resources they need to make dreams happen you [Music] [Applause] [Music] hello everyone and welcome back inside Beverly campus gymnasium we've got about a minute 30 left before we get this second half underway 36:11 the Panthers have built themselves a nice comfortable lead and looked to finish the job Dan you got some points here from what we saw in that first half utter domination there's no other way to describe does that first half Beverly controlled everything they had the transition was great by them half-court offense was great by them defense they're getting plenty of steals turnovers you had to nitpick something maybe they could be a little better on the defensive end of the
035rebound without Moreland it's an issue but zoom has not been able to convert any second chances so far you see on the screen there you can see Beaudry 21 Anderson number three and Bernard number 22 sort of led the scoring so far in that in that first half matters 18 points for Anderson 12 for Goldberg that's been pretty much their offense desaad has four points hasn't seemed like it's been only those two scoring Anderson we know we've had a couple she has had a couple big outside shots but for the most part it's been a great great passing when they haven't had the transition getting open looks I expect that to continue Beverly has clearly shown that they're the superior team right now hopefully we'll keep that up to this the second half all right
036hit those are on the floor right now ready to get this one underway Salem still talking things over and you know without Moreland kind of seems like the interior attack has been Beaudry especially off transit quick and then we see Anderson still doing her thing from the outside but you have to have you have to have that inside attack to open things up more Phil yeah outside shooting and Beaudry has taken that role very well oh yeah it's been great for them and Anderson like you said the outside shooting but a little two-step thing Shashi has done it's phenomenal the thing that Beverley kind of could clean up is the free throws if that if miss I believe six in the first half so Koch on that inbound and we're underway here good passing again
037crisp but shot not going to go there that's stuck up on the top of the board as you can see so everything looks real good in that offensive possession except via the finished product there but great great passing swinging the ball on the outside real well got the ball on the inside the first possession Correia with the ball the offense continuing the flow mostly through her so you see them tries to come over more a little a set offense loader that time I'm at that looks like actually a decent shot to take it was a sale sale this looked very as you said awkward so that was a good possession families didn't get points but at least they were able to move Bernard inside kicks it out to bogey the shots not gonna go though
038Freya trying to push it up the floor gets the Panthers defenders to over-pursue no one boxed out their freshman Griffin came in not gonna go another rebound and another layup not gonna go Korea again they can't buy a bucket right now Beltre on the inside loses her balance Salem still out the ball though Griffin from the outside in and out [Applause] and I can't keep track of how many offensive rebounds are all in this possession believe that was six I might have been Beltre on the inside not gonna go gets her own rebound another one well I haven't even know how many shots they is they're out of it oh four nine on that possession four shots open pass that Sprague cannot handle it Beverley maintains possession though at least got back out to Sprague
039Barnard middle range - not gonna go Anderson pulls the rebound but has it taken away from her by Correa and that'll be a jump ball and we'll go to the witches it didn't hurt him but that was tough over there lack of defensive rebounds there oh yeah that was a crazy possession I don't know if I've ever seen anything quite like that that was a lot boy and then the tough shot goes in weird well the score keeper the score thing here they they got that wrong that too should have gone to Salem he got it right on the monitor actually everyone watching at home and they changed it for us here so it's early 36:13 our score [Music] back-to-back unproductive offensive possessions by the Panthers that ends up with the ball in the witch's
040hands Cariah driving down decent look not going to go and some more rebounding problems for the Panthers awkward offense awkward defense even to Beverly trickle ugly look like she had Gaucho open but she's able to draw the foul anyway so some of the things I mentioned earlier I'm having problems with Beverly defensive rebound that's Barnard on the inbound pass so yeah something to watch Beaudry's not a not a good decision there on that pass Florida too much but the Panthers maintain possession Anderson thought about it I'm not gonna happen shot clock under ten now in Salem bails him out with a foul second so now they'll get a new shot clock second followed by Salem on this possession Haley thought about it again not sure so we're waiting to double coverage gonna make smarter decisions
041here Caray along three and that's gonna go in 36 16 hours for and Angeles seen enough and he'll call a timeout so thing's butt-ugly there for the Panthers you know sometimes you build up that big lead you have a little problems especially right out the gate when you get cold and I think we've seen a whole lot here a little bit there was funny the first position by Beverly the shot didn't go in the ball still sitting on the backboard but it was crisp it was a great possession I mean the passing and I think you just got a little nutty I think a little bit but they said lems been able to turn everything very ugly on offense and kind of right now let's see yeah well wondering if maybe they'll try to get
042something going for Anderson I don't think she's taking a shot this half yet it's not yet so I wouldn't be surprised I try to get her something going I'm not giving her any space though either they figured it out an honor a little bit more all right substantial sat them down and had a talk let's see if the Panthers can come out a little bit better here now haven't scored yet in the second half five points for the witch isn't it as our sport of 3613 there's a long time John Bernard from three-point land drains it and it's 39:16 that's kind of a dagger Salem Griffin open looking got it just about the most open look that they've had all night Anderson from three look good but not gonna go in Dominguez pulls the rebound
043loses her headband the rep gets it inside the Beltre turnaround working against Sprague is good not enough on it just a bit short English and grab the rebound and now the Panthers up the floor and beautiful passing spraying an easy layup 41:18 I don't think all five Salem defenders go back on that and that's why Sprague had such an open look that was the key to the first effort only Beverly was the transition points they were getting it's easily if they can do it again to one to up the floor Beaudry draws the foul gets bail damage she lost control but she had she had someone wide open to her left yeah that was actually kind of crush small and that foul looked a little out of control but Griffin reached that hand didn't they
044bailed her out so just over three minutes to go in this third quarter 1:18 after Salem put up the first five points Beverley answered with five points of their own Anderson has her shot blocked by the board itself and goes right back to her now an open look from three not quite that time saved by spraying that's McCarthy number 10 on the floor for the Panthers it looks like a foul away from the ball there oh look like correction here that's white hair on the floor at number 10 the Panthers [Applause] [Music] [Applause] other contested shot not going to go in Beaudry all the way up for outruns everyone's an easy layup they just don't get back on defense no 4318 our score inside good luck there good passing 4320 our score now broke up
045a 700 run by the Panthers and Brooke Bakey it's a three and it's 46 20 I believe that 60 they put up against Gloucester is the highest scoring game for the Panthers offensively and it looks like they might be on pace to break that tonight there might be uh-oh Carroll is passing there but Correia could not get the layup so the Panthers get bailed out she came from out of nowhere by the way to get that broke thought about a three again and it's not gonna happen long shot air ball [Applause] Beverly getting set in there man defense big range - not gonna go in Beaudry all the way up before a little bump no foul but she has another open look again it's just too easy on offense you don't really have to change
046the game at all let's just give it to one person and let her outrun the entire defense though it's funny the most fires been really improved on their often sued the possessions have looked so much better oh yeah and here we go - here we go again Beaudry up the floor but also slightly off her foot a little out of control possession and now Brooke from three to strong halftime and white hair drains the bucket 50 to 20 now a 30 point lead for the Panthers [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Griffin stops and shoots not gonna go in foul there [Applause] Gina in Alaska is that the line for the witches that's the first foul of the second half of the Panthers 14 seconds to go in this third quarter 50 to 20 our score is this
047in one's first technical line tonight no they had to end one how they did that's right that's the other impressive thing we've seen about the Panthers this year by the way their defense they play they don't foul but they play aggressive on defense very aggressive they get a lot of steals he's got a little bit ugly there Korea put up the new didn't beat the buzzer there I don't believe with that shot not that it ends up mattering that third quarter comes to an end and Beverly is up 50 to 22 and by the way after that rough start we said you know it's about 4:00 4:30 into that quarter in the Panthers hadn't scored and I want a sudden I'm looking up and it's 50 I know it's what it was it came in
048bunches yeah so kima bunches made that 7 no structure you mentioned earlier defense still looks pretty active a Salem's offense looks like it's been a little bit better but the transition lifted by Bulger is just unbelievable that particular quarter they couldn't slow her down the only thing the floater down was herself yeah hitting it off her foot a couple of times but whatever stage we'll said to them on that timeout yeah they came out a little bit more focused there thank you say you when you have a 20-point lead at halftime you come back a little X daisy'll like the dáil shooters too by the way Anderson having said got 18 of those points you sit down for a little shooting in such a streaky thing they had the really ugly possession it was about
049six or seven offensive rebounds by sale and they but they didn't get any points off it I wish we had a stat guy just for that one possession I want to know how many missed shots how many rebounds there's probably double digits you got to think it was right double digits ah it's not rebound yeah probably about six or seven rebounds though so a few things that you miss Morland but for the most part if you looked at the score you couldn't tell now absolutely not [Music] [Applause] so they looked like they've moved into a little bit of a big bench a little bit try to get some experience in for them there we got white hair on the floor [Applause] we got McCarthy as well and we have Cydney Anderson on the floor now
050also for the Panthers [Applause] all right so about seven minutes left to go in this game 50 22 the Panthers like they have this one in hand so this is good too because uh Beverly has about three games to build three more wins for clinched the playoffs don't want to get too ahead of ourselves and it's like this one might be in one of those three that they need put down that magic number to two they're gonna have to play against Summerville next that'll be a tough one they're gonna have to play against PVD and Medford so summer go but if you want to be expect you know get ahead of ourselves here but you think that they should be able to handle business against Medford and then the Peabody game becomes very interesting they
051can't pull it out against Somerville at some of them I'm not just willing to back those games or not if she is and that this is the one games yourself are very nice timing perfect nothing perfect timing but Beverly when they play their game when they're active on defense and they're passing the ball around going inside outside getting image it with their jumps Moreland's on the inside it's a very hard offense to stop there's so many weapons that they have they can get them you know put the ball in the basket defense they're very active they like to get the turnovers don't foul a lot either and they usually have the size of damage too so they can easily get the rebounds steam is a little bit of anomaly with them rebounds but that's without
052more lime sauce the main rebounder [Applause] [Music] da chance break still pulled down quite a few was there on that one performed admirably long free not gonna go that time so like her a is still driving guessing isn't too much woman injury bike or else she probably wouldn't still be in this game we haven't confirmed anything it's just you seeing two different colored shoes you'd have to think that there's usually a rapping or some reason for it maybe a lot of bit crap on their legs already yeah I thought that was rap - yeah they're bringing them good tonight though and as we said you know the offense really seems to flow through her that makes sense being the only senior as we mentioned on the war Belgium Griffin coming back into them surprise Salem's
053keeping with their starters a little bit to score the way it is thought they might play their bench to they've alternated with Beltre quite a bit though yes [Applause] [Music] and a foul there it's the fourth team foul for the witches here [Applause] swinging the ball around right now on the outside the Panthers passing has its water away can't control torrential go back to Beverly possession so continuing the nice rebound Panthers since that tough loss against classical should push them up to three straight wins get that magic number down the two with a couple of games left and what else look really in sight right now very inside after that but as we said Sam came into an 11 wasn't the best year for them and really unfortunately for them the first quarter offenses could
054anything couldn't do much kind of suck them from the beginning Beverly she games we've done they past Arthur Andersen from the outside that pretty good there but in and out that was Sydney Anderson by the way not a lead so looks like she can shoot do though [Music] Perea inside and it's 5225 now and that boss still away we're on the jumper can handle it as Anderson which is I'll maintain possession of the ball this surprise Beverly's bench though you think with right now with being in is they try to be a little more careful football playoffs coming up an insight that you know they could be playing significant minutes injury ball you'd like to see them be a little more personal Santa's keeping a lot I started as an out to right and but
055that that's good for him that's good for the bench though for the experience definitely right [Applause] so McCarthy drains her first free-throw 5125 our score breaks up a 500 run for the witches [Applause] Mireya again on the lam been mostly offense tonight for the witches will see offices bed ii have to jump all and that will go to panthers way so few seconds over four minutes left in this one [Music] [Applause] so dude I think it's a big enough event especially since our team is in it thoughts on the Super Bowl I mean not to sound like a cocky Patriots fan but backup quarterback Nick Foles you know I want I would like a comfortable win for once you know coffee on the edge of my seat yes but I mean Nick Foles didn't get
056back from the last game he played it's the Viking he all played the other backup of that Vikings air defenses yeah yeah you're gonna blow him Case Keenum for having someone missed there blocking his blindside and formal that was a rough game to watch that was so bad I mean I only watch like the first half [Applause] what do you think it was such an emotional first wing the game before that yeah yeah that's always thinking too hard to come back from that I was just so funny too because I told you I was in Philly before the Vikings Eagles game and the feds didn't even seem all that excited they were like are you Nick Foles the Vikings are really good the city was not that pompe them they would hurt people who a
057melt like that we've both been there actually my producer just told me I haven't been the feeling I was just in Philly Doakes come on hot bad I'm telling you they weren't that pumped about it though oh yeah I have heard about that they could be a door too though those Philly fans you know sometimes they're you know with a couple of games and they think they're gonna rule the world you know Carson Wentz is the savior blah blah blah blah blah I was like John that was a long path she put that on the money my apologies and anyone from her family is watching this game but we do not know who number 31 is long before believe it JV call up it makes sense since more when this out so did you get
058to play favorite and she does it [Applause] yes so 52:29 our score then we got dragged in to talk about the Vikings game we still didn't even talk about the actual Pats game what do you think it I hope it's not a close game for the cats but no I don't want it to be it's not even fun sometimes I think the Eagles defense as good as the Jag huh yes oh my doesn't work I don't think they're secondary it's as good as the Jags will Jackson I think but some wine is as good I don't know if the linebackers are as good even so we should just not bother running the ball again Brady in the shotgun I scroll okay for I haven't said anything happened they said he's improving the thought I heard
059I'll be shocked if he doesn't play I pray it I'd be like I mean they've won Super Bowls without him but and they beat Jacksonville about him can you imagine when the super old no Edwin knows wrong you think you think that's gonna make people who hate Brady give him the credit I'm gonna be like ah the AFC was terrible he had Brandon cooks defaced Nick Foles come on you know it doesn't matter who it is Anderson's Andy Anderson drains that bucket there 54-31 our score a little over two minutes to go here in this game the key for the Pats defense is making sure they get soft Ajay if they can stop the run Dan Forsman Cosentino than any chances well you know that's what I'll track down whoever's your best weapon he just
060let's take that away and see if you can adjust Eagles have got some good weapon so to arts is a great tight end they have Allen Jeffery great wide receiver they've got they've got playmakers there's a reason why they still made it with their backup quarterback I know not too many teams do that no I just I'm really hoping for a nice 10-point victory where I don't have to bite my nails the Falcons game with the biggest Bartram victory ahead in any Super Ball was sick boy Sydow they've gotten better it was forced points in the Seahawks game 3 in the all the other ones so you know they're getting better at it get better a little bit of time just because one was a goal section the other one went to overtime doesn't mean
061yeah just because they were down you know the 28 to 3 at one point but no no no yeah 6 we won by 6 it was comfortable you only watch the last two drives that yeah it was very comfortable that office just I had to wake you up for that [Applause] some people just heard that all right so the jeebies back at the line see if she can get some more of those free throws the PA announcer matthew riordan just announced their name but you know up here and we were in the booth here we got these on we're talking it's hard to hear sometimes yeah our booth here yeah our balcony then our balcony booth balcony it's all the same you know it is all right so I'm still playing hard though they've scored
062a lot in this quarter though got a half that came in that but leave the score was fifty to twenty even though there's 55 33 so they've outscored them by that thirteen new of all that's been you know Korea facing second team so we do your thoughts on the Super Bowl I'm just saying is nothing to panic about there for the Super Bowl man I just can't get over the fact that it's Nick Foles I just can [Applause] [Music] but I guess Blake bortles I'm Abita so the Blake bortles be better off this burger he out dude yeah I know but they couldn't stop her that it might get us lost as a safety we're gonna play him we can play him in Haiti and he'll and and you didn't even get there and they
063could play him and man it now I'm sure Mike Mitchell will beat him in that well that was like Grasso all right I thought she I thought the rough wasn't gonna call that for a second I don't think she's gonna call it either police should maintain they have possession I guess they called it on Beverly or she called to the jump-off forever as in this corner alone that'd be great - now leads down to 20 outscored him 15 to 5 here in this fourth quarter long shot too strong under a minute to go inside past Beltran a little trouble handling it but she eventually gets it I bad that it's not Beltre I'll trade number 35 he the last go at the line again for Salem and too short on the first one and to
064short on the second as well Anderson grabs that rebound boy Salem is still trying Correia get you right in her face there on the press playing some angry basketball [Applause] long shot airball not gonna go there time expires as nolasco falls on anderson and that'll do it for this one Beverly takes this one over the rival Salem 5535 still a 20-point victory could be a little misleading if you look out of the box who are it was more dominating than that it was yeah the mean really the first half was all you need to watch the last game was gonna go first quarter alone was it's great for Beverly tough for Salem I guess it wasn't really much more you can ask from Beverly even missing there or there keep you know players in Moreland
065yep it was just great all-around win for Beverly I have to put football back into this for a sec beat'em didn't play down to the competition unlike some teams you can mention here the Steelers but anyway so the magic number is down to two for the Panthers now to clinch that playoff berth they've won three straight since the classical game and 5535 our final here Dominic Lorenzana with Dan Lawrence I know signing off until next time you [Music] you
