I. >> I. >> All those opposed say nay. Motion carries. All the way to discussion items. Um I put the public comment one on there. Uh we talked did we want to look at moving the public comment from 3 minutes to 5 minutes? Heard that public comment the time before last and it seemed like 5 minutes might be a more appropriate time based off of um what transpired during the meeting. >> Mhm. I would have been in agreement with that. Yeah. >> Okay, we'll bring that to the board next next cycle. All right. And then I have the special closed board meeting on June 4th at 9:00 a.m. Is >> Brenda can't make it. >> Okay. >> And then I have you and I think Stephanie has responded. I think you both can. >> Okay.

Can anybody else make that? >> I can. >> Okay, you're good. >> I'm sorry I didn't respond. Is that in person? >> Over Zoom? >> Yeah. Okay. All right. And then are you going to be available that day, Andrea? >> I'm not sure yet. >> Okay. No, that's fine. Just Just let me know >> Okay. >> and I will go from there, but at least we have a quorum for that. Uh and then I had another discussion item, just graduation. I was curious who can make graduation so we can kind of know [clears throat] what to expect or anything from there. I know plan on being there. >> I'll be there. >> Are you sure? We were wondering. >> [laughter] >> I show up. I'm a candidate right now. >> And then I'll I'll be

back at the board meeting. >> Be the second year Michael. I'll be in WSU attire and not UDub attire. >> You know how I feel about that. It's a nice sweatshirt you have down there too, by the way. >> [laughter] >> Um And then I just kind of let everybody had Candace put the upcoming events that are coming up. It's quite a few events coming up. Going into the senior week next week as far as awards. So May 27th is the FFA banquet at 6:00 p.m. The May 29th staff appreciation dinner at 5:00 p.m. And June 2nd senior awards night at 7:00 p.m. June 4th is our special closed board meeting and then June 6th is graduation. So if you plan on being there at 12:30, right? Okay. And then June 12th is the joint

board retreat with Summit Pacific 8 to 12. So If you can make any of those, great. Obviously the last ones would be really inclusive and especially June 12th. >> [clears throat] >> So that's all we had for discussion. Unless anybody's got anything on any of those. I unfortunately can't go to the FFA banquet tomorrow night. We have district meeting tomorrow for soccer. A little late this year. But, it's what it is. All right, any public comment? Uh unfinished business. Uh approval of policy 1820 board self-assessment, first reading. >> I'll move to approve approval of policy 1820 board self-assessment, first reading. I'll second. >> It's been moved and seconded to approve policy 1820 board self-assessment, first reading. Is there any discussion? Is there any discussion? Seeing none, all those in favor say aye. >> Aye. >> All those opposed

say nay. Motion carries. Reports. Chris. >> We are very consistent from our FTE enrollment from last month. So, really only a 0.07 difference. >> Questions on enrollment? All right, then. The name Lisa. >> You guys have your updated report. My hour writer about 7900 balance. But we still have your ending expenditures going out. Summer school, sick leave by that for those retirees. So, we will see a little bit of dropping in that in the next couple months. Any questions? >> I'm just quietly looking. I know it's awkward silence. I didn't see anything when I looked over it before, personally, but anybody else have anything? >> I'm welcome. >> All right. Jeff. >> Uh I just uh update the middle school roof. I would say it's dang near complete. They got their uh dumpsters out of

there today. I feel like it's a little bit of clean up and they'll be done. And they've already kind of put in for May to be completed, so not very many days left in May. I feel like they're going to be completely done anytime now. We did have the rock replacement. Which will add a little bit. Well, we kind of expected some of that, so nothing too out of hand. The Davis Field thing there was still a couple punch list items. I haven't completely seen that signed off on yet, but I imagine they're pretty pretty much done with that, too. Everything's ready to go for graduation. We're getting ready for summer work, getting wax on order and things like that to be ready to go. I've been talking with the people about the track, the

low spots. So, we we have a contractor. I haven't seen bids yet, but I was told that there were bids. >> There's an asphalt bid that's in your and in my box and my inbox. >> From I think that was just the one. That's not the one we're going to Tommy's working on, so we haven't seen anything >> [clears throat] >> totally out of favor, but we should be should be able to get that done with that grant that Kevin was able to get. The The surveyors got us the I don't know if you looked over that yet, Chris, the legal description for the church. I'll send that over to you. Hopefully that's all we need for that one. They've been working really hard on this property out here for what SCJ Alliance needs. Other

than that, everything is winding down. Hopefully the pranks at the end of the year don't get too carried away from you know how that goes. Those are unknowns, but yeah, everything's The kids are kind of calm. Like it's kind of like a scary calm before the storm. It's going to get crazy here for about a week and a half and then get real magical. Looking forward to a good summer. >> Right around the corner. >> Yep. >> All right. Good to the order. Chris, back to you. >> Um all right. We are back to the end of the year. So, I think we have our events coming up. We also have our senior awards night. It was going to be June 2nd. We had our senior walk through our schools today. So, we are now

upon graduation season. So, softball had an incredible third-place finish. Track state this coming weekend and uh we're really really close with soccer. So, I'll let you talk about soccer, Michael. But beyond that, I think that's kind of what we have going on right now. Oh, and our staff awards ceremony is the 29th, this Friday. Our retirement and staff recognition. >> I don't have anything. >> Uh yeah, soccer well, we didn't get the results we wanted to. The boys did a phenomenal job. We lost uh we we lost this round one to two, but it was a really good game. Um great to see them compete. It's actually great to see everybody compete. And just the the the amount of support that has come out over the last few weeks for each and each one of

these groups has been phenomenal. Um just from uh just everybody. From just being lining out on the streets to going to the different groups going to coffee shops and stuff and getting escorted out of town. I mean, the kids you guys you got to see their faces. To be on the bus with them and see their faces, they just really really enjoy all the love and support they've been getting. So, um kudos to everybody who's worked hard to to uh get them there and um for them to get to that point. So, it's been it's been good stuff. Um other than that, hope everybody had a really good long weekend and we can wrap it up before summer and finish out strong. Anything else, Kenny? >> I got to go watch him too. Got to

go watch him to go to uh the the fifth-grade choir concert and it was well attended. Good elementary moment. And also at the kindergarten kickstart night. Um and I think it was broken into two two groups, but Autumn's tag was number 42 at the start of the first or the second hour, so there'd already been, you know, 40-plus and we think about enrollment. Um that was I'm assuming a pretty high turnout of all families, so um and I wanted to say to those kindergarten teachers, every one of them gave off the complete the complete impression that they were thrilled to be there. They were full of energy, full of life, and I know that they've got to be exhausted by that point in the day after um you know, where they're at in their own

school year. So, thank you to all of them for being very welcoming to new families into the district. Anybody have anything else? Um all right, so we'll be moving to executive session um at uh 6:20 and we'll be out at uh 6:50. Yeah. >> Good stuff. Yes. >> Mhm. >> May I have a motion to adjourn? >> I'll move to adjourn the meeting. >> A second. >> It's been moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting. Is there any discussion? Seeing none, all those in favor say "Aye". >> Aye. All those opposed say "Nay". Motion carries. Meeting adjourned. >> We have to Oh, sorry, Chris.
