Luckily for the Spartans behind the by Marino >> Whitward right there stop that from happening by trying to turn around
go around the corner turn around take a shot good job for to get a piece of that ball goes out of bounds just trying to set up with two I think in Green. Kylie Marino goes gets a little high on that one. Green will get herself here. Just looks like they're just trying to match up behind the cage. Whiten once again goes to her spot. M Whit slides over to it. Ball's thrown away. in there temporarily to pick it up. Comes out with the ball. >> With the ball [crying] with one-on-one with Mckne there, good job by get that help. >> Now she's getting double team trying to go in and out. Turns around, takes a shot. Pelier around the crease. Turns around takes a shot. And I think Yep. Jane Pelier getting her selfie. I think that's Jane's first yellow card of the season for dangerous shot. It's worked three times tonight. So just keep doing that. >> Northampton deep in their territory. Score still 14-7 with seven minutes left. really like that off of possession. That'd be good if it's football, but when you're down in lacrosse, sure, you probably want to get shots off, cut that deficit down quick. Northampton up a man now. Green with the ball behind X. [laughter] draw and get the ball over the streaming line and they'll set up the Spartans offense this time. Northampton uh knowing that they're still up a player chasing after Mac. Unfortunately, it's the wrong person to be chasing after Max still with the drawstick. gives the ball over to Mckne. Keney goes through one, two, turns around, takes a shot, throws it right into the goalie's net. Good job by the goalie. Fink gets the ball up to Green making headway. She's going to by Northampton. quickly get the ball up 60 yd cut the starters
deficit to five >> 14-9 all really making a game of it now >> 14-9 Spartans still down a player as Northampton capitalizing on Spartans yellow card scoring two goals. [laughter] >> We're on a draw. Ball goes up where comes away with it. >> Draw stick. >> Goes around. One, two. Pulls the ball back out. We're still going with the ball. 048a little fun out there scoring. >> Whitward back up on the draw. Whitward throws it up and away with it again. >> Whit seeing daylight goes through one two turns around rips a shot leftanded. Mac Whitmer scores that >> nine seconds after getting a self draw, running down the field, scoring a goal. That's why she is a super Whitler six goal of the game. [laughter] Spartans up 16-9. We're up on a draw. 16 to nine. Just under five. Said that two seconds ago. Last time I said it though, they were five. with the ball this time. Northampton comes away with a different draw. Good job by Northampton. >> Quickly get the ball over the restraining line. Gets the ball to Green. Green really on the offensive threat today. having a bunch of assist comes up
with it. Timeout Northampton. >> So Northampton calls a timeout with 16-9 left. 16-9. 4 minutes 11 seconds left. It's the best. >> You know what? That Come on. Two. Watch Kylie's get it. I lied. I was waiting for Kylie to get that sprint 60 yards down the field. >> Sorry. Can I with the ballink finds the wide open goalie. OH [cheering] SHOT.
[applause] Julia Gray there to to knock it this time. Kylie Marino gets the ball. You just see her spacing further and further. Gap the Blue Devils. She gets the ball over to Sand with the ball. Gets the ball over to Peliter. Pelier behind the net looking for some cutters. Gets the ball over to Sand. Sand nice little spin. 051team now by Reno Whitas. Turns around throws the ball up. Another good play by Hannah Eddie to disrupt that pass. Northampton comes away with it. The ball >> gets the ball over the green behind the net. >> Minute 45 left. >> Now the Spartans have they had it the third quarter too. Really locking down Green. Turn around looking to go around. the back of the net. That's Green spot. Good job by Green. That's a fifth goal of the game. I think every single one of them is come from that same spot. So, Spartans lock down that spot. They do a good job. Otherwise, Green just keeps going through the Spartan defenders and scoring goal in that same spot. Spartans up 16-10 with 125 >> left in the uh fourth quarter. >> Where were the ball?
to see the Spartans get the ball get the score up to 10, get to the state rankings as those extra goals really make a difference sometimes in home field advantage or not. M Whitmer sees an opportunity goes through everybody turns around takes a shot. Mac Whitmer scores a goal. Spartans up 17-10 with a minute to go in the fourth quarter. So people at home might go, "Oh, you're running up to score." Well, you know what? When it comes time for states, you really want those goals. So back to see that seventh goal of the game. We were in on draw up. Good job by Northampton. Ends up with that ball. Northampton looking to score. Get another one up on the board. Minute left is behind the net. Try to probably get the green. >> Now
you have to watch the cutters because Green's either rolls does a good job rolling or hitting that open cutter. Green with the ball. Kylie Marino on her Marinoz. Good job by Hannah. I believe that was Hannah Eddie once again to disrupt that pass. >> Hannah Eddie doing a great job tonight turning around trying to hit those cutters and get a piece piece of the ball. Get the ball up. She can she can look. She can have Jane Pel here. She gets the ball up to Illenssworth. And that'll be it for the game. Spartans end up winning 17-10 beating the Blue Devils at home.
