001[screaming] [cheering and applause] Sun's coming out. Look at that. >> Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Spartan Stadium, where tonight we're going to be bringing you to the MIAA tournament statewide. The Spartan teams posting an 11 and5 season so far, third place in the suburban league. They're going to be facing the Auburn Rockets who have traveled down the turnpike and past the rotary here to this this stadium tonight. They're going to be ho posting a 7 and31 record. They lost last week. However, before that, they their last loss of the season was a 912 to Medway. Uh, this Auburn team comes in here coming in second place in the Southern Worcester County League. And for our own Spartans, it's going to be a true test with our six freshman, three sophomores, three juniors,

002and three seniors. We're about ready to get action started here. And I'm joined here by my friend Johnny Martin. >> We are [snorts] back. I'm in state playoff action high school and we are underway. It is good to be back. to be watching these kids. >> So, as we start off, the East Long Meadow Spartans are dawning their red uniforms and Auburn's in all white and pre play has started. Uh, it looks like Grace Guile is going to take the ball at the 40 yd line, heading over to midfield trying to get it over to man. Auburn intercepts. However, Grace Guile on defense over at the 43 yd line. Kendall Reed Fiend Mian down at the 20 yardd line. Mian making a move down to the 10 yardd line getting into the circle. However, there's

003a whistle. It's going to be off me and foot. >> Going to be super interesting to see Denny how this unfolds. We don't know a whole lot about this Auburn team and been quite a while since LA played. last uh game was against uh Long Meadow uh and we haven't played since and so hopefully they can come out fast and and be are going to get going here today uh in this first round of the state playoff. >> And John, if you look back, it's this whole journey started in August. We had no idea what we were going to find. I think this season has been filled with ups, downs, lessons. Uh and it's a really young team, so we're going to see how they can prevail. How many wins can they produce in this

004this tournament in the statewide MIAA tournament here? >> We can't get any unless we get the first one, Denny. It's been [snorts] to your point, it's been an awesome awesome three months with the girls and they've shattered expectations, I think, relative to to wins and losses, but but also just how they've come together as a team. hopefully can can enter this state tournament just ready to compete get after it a little bit but we can't we can't even worry about racking up wins until we get the first one and here we go >> no [snorts] so we got Kendall Reed on the far sideline at the 30 yardd line bringing it up trying to find Grace Guile and does at the 40 Gu's going to be out of bounds on the far sideline Auburn Rockets

005inbound it about midfield Auburn going into East Long Meadow territory Tory over the 40 yd line. >> Greta Langan trying to play defense. Grace Martin with the ball now. Turn over. East Long Meadow up to Kendall Reed on the far sideline. Reed's going to try to feed it over to Guile. Guile at the 30 yd line has Abby man close to the circle. Abby man makes a move at the score. Bailey with a shot and blocked. Looks like >> Eastong. >> Corner Eastong Meadow. Really close opportunity there to start us out. >> 12. Great way to start. >> No doubt. 12 minutes left in the first quarter here. We're going to start out with a corner here right off the bat. >> I mean, what a great job moving the ball from one end of

006the field to the other. Some great passes down here in the Auburn zone. Resulted in a couple shots and ultimately a corner. So, let's see if we can capitalize on this here early in the first. Looks like we got Bailey Reed, Sarill Guile, and man on the outside of the circle. That's going to go to Grace Guile. It's going to lift one in towards the circle. Abby man with a close play there. Uh, however, it's going to be East Long Meadow corner number two. And this time it looks like uh Bailey Reed >> Sos guy man on the outside again with Grace Martin in the back and Julia Gray. Go to Grace Martin. Grace Martin's going to go over to Sills. Over to Reed. Reed's going to let one go in the circle. Saved by

007Auburn. Still in the circle. Ser battling for the ball in the circle in corner number three. >> Good opportunities early. what we're seeing early in the zone. Let's hope we capitalize on one of these corners here. >> Got to capitalize on the opportunities. >> Looks like Ava Pelgro into insert again to the same lineup here. Goes over to Grace Guile. Grace Guy over to Sel. Sills chips it back in towards Guile. It's just going to go out of bounds. >> That's a play I haven't seen that this season, John. That is that is new and a great exchange. Two corners in a row the early part of this contest here and it's a great way to start for the girls. >> It is. So Auburn's going to take the ball at the 40s. Oneonone Grace

008Martin trying to catch up with her at the 15 yd line. Puts a reverse move on a shot that's going to be blocked by Mattie Ser coming out here and Pellegrino just can't get that ball. So it's going to be Auburn Rockets ball at the 25 yd line going in towards East Long Meadow. >> Excellent job down there for stick down and get a good stop there. >> And so Auburn has the ball here. Inserts it into the 15 yd line. Broken up by Greta Lang. And Reed's got the ball in the center of the field. He's got three defenders on her. Speeds it up to me. Man trying to get it. Intercepted by Auburn, however, at the 40 yd line. Guile coming on to play defense there. Bailey on defense at midfield. Auburn pressing

009now on the East Long Meadow side. Julia Gray off to Greta Lang and Langan's going to lay it out to Grace Martin on the far sidelines going to get it over to Reed. Just goes off Reed sticks ball. Then he must have must have hit an Auburn player stick but referee's calling it ball. So we maintain possession. >> Okay, looking good here early. 000 score with 9 minutes and 10 seconds left in the first quarter and Julia Grace slapshots it down to the 25. It looks like Pellegrino battling here on defense and does gain possession looking for an open Bailey. Bailey over to man intercepted by Auburn. However, >> Pelgro [cheering] sung that a ball to 20 going in over to Bailey. However, it's going to be Auburn. Ball coming out. Slap shot down. Another

010whistle here. He's pointing. Probably wants it placed at the 20 yardd line, it looks like. So, it'll remain Auburn. Ball at the 20 yardd line. Uh looking for an open player. Waiting a whistle here. And we will resume play. >> So, John, let's Abby man. And it looks like Grace Guile is going to come down to the five yd line. Battling centers it. No one's there. Reed on defense outside the circle. Reed trying to play some defense in the middle and corner. >> All right, John. This is four. >> Right. So far, four corners for Song Meadow in this game early. >> And you talk about this this team, John. this team. If I had told you in August we were going to end up 11 and five and third place in the suburban league,

011what would you say to that? >> You and I talked about this before the season started just you right and they have not only the occasional start. So Spartans capitalize on their fourth corner of the first quarter. 7 minutes and 27 seconds left. That's goal by Abby Man. That's going to be Man's 14th goal of the season as a freshman. >> Yeah. Our leading goal scorer is going to be Grace G. She's got 19 this year. >> Your stats are amazing. >> Just trying to help our on that. >> Uh, I got to wait for the official word on for an assist. It will happen on their corner though. Um, Grace Martin's got the ball midfield. Going to try to feed man. Man's got the ball at the 40. Makes a move. Auburn slap shot

012down. However, Sel's right there. >> Bailey with the ball at the 30 yd line. me. Pellegrino over to man in the middle. Auburn trying to clear it. >> Okay, we got an interference call on it looks like Pelgro extremely well urging [cheering] to start this game. >> I agree with you 100%. Um, let's see how this quarter progresses as Auburn has the ball at the 20 yardd line. It looks like they're moving the ball very well. You know, they had a couple tough losses in the last two weeks. >> Yeah, you're right. Especially to finish it off. Always concerned about how those losses are ready to play. Julia Gray, out >> Gwen Gasperini is going to come and >> try to play defense. Going to be corner number one for the Auburn Rockets here. >>

013That was going to be a third party interference I'm getting from the press box. So, in the cage, it looks like Greta Langan, Julia Gray, and Grace Guile with uh Grace Martin on the outside playing defense. Let's see if the Spartans can hold off the Auburn attack here on the corner, their first corner of the game. It's inserted outside the circle back in to number 21, I believe. Looks like Grace Martin on defense and Grace Guyle tries to clear. However, another corner >> looks like another corner. It all happened so fast. >> Auburn second quarter. Uh same crew in the cage with Emma Mau in goal. Emma Mau 72 saves on the season. [snorts] Auburn trying to make a move here in the circle. A shot and a goal. One to one with four minutes

014and 43 seconds. That was a rocket shot. That was acknowled to go in quarter number one. I mean, this is tournament time. You expect to be expect to have competitive close type games and so um not a huge surprise. This is already [snorts] a battle brewing here at East Middle High School. And the rule of thumb, John, is just win one game at a time. You know, it's a team of 32 in the field. We don't know where we're going to go next week. >> Yeah. And you really have to I mean, in games like this in in in tournament games, it's really about winning one possession at a time, you know, just keeping [clears throat] keeping the main thing the main thing and really working as hard as you can one possession at a

015time because any anything can happen and goals are really hard to come by. Uh, and if you've made it to the tournament, then you've been successful in the regular season. And no one's just going to hand it to you. So, uh, we're gonna have to play well for four quarters here, Denny. >> It's going to be, uh, Auburn ball coming out at the 15 yd line. Slap shot down off Mian's foot. Auburn recovers at midfield. Greta Lang pride to pay defense. 27 goes by her. Bailey. Yeah, it's going to be a foot foot foul against Auburn and and East Lar ball. >> Okay, this is coming down to Pellegrino down to the 40 yd line battling for the ball at the 40. Makes a reverse. >> Really nice move >> down the sideline trying to

016get a man. Man's going to grab it and the >> uh just out of bounds. >> So, it's going to be coming out Auburn ball. And you talk about tournament play, John. Uh, you know, the East Long Spartans after the past four years are two wins and four losses. The furthest they have reached is the second round. Last year we lost a double overtime shootout against Dennis Yarmouth. >> And what a game that was. >> Grace Giles in the circle making a move to the back end line and inserts it. No one there. >> Great opportunity for East Long Meadow there. Came up just a bit short. Uh, as we near the two-minute mark in quarter number one, >> seems like East Long Meadow has had the upper hand in the quarter. However, we got

017a tie score and as we know, it just takes one quick play. >> That ball's going to go out of bounds. >> Okay, that looks like that's going to be an Eastlong Meadow ball then coming in with we got 2 minutes and 25 seconds left in the first quarter. [snorts] And John, we talk about uh you know this tournament play. 2021 we lost to Marthur's Vineyard two to one out there. >> What do we take? We're taking a little trip down memory lane right now. >> Yeah. I mean we're go it's the history of the program and you want to go back to the history of the program and the success. We got Mattie Sos coming inserting it into the circle. Abby man in there. AVA PELRO WITH a goal. to be in position to

018make a play off the rebound. What a great job [cheering] by Meadow to make it two to one with just under two to go in the first quarter. >> Great exchange of passes down there on that side. That's what the East Long Meadow Spartans are about the passing game down near the net. >> Susie here. >> Abby man on the assist. from Abby. >> Freshman to freshman in a state tournament here on this Halloween night. [snorts] >> Grace Guile is going to bring it down past the 15 yd line trying to get it over to man. That should be a push. Whoa. On Auburn. Okay, play on. Slap shot down. Really great fails by Mattie >> Sos. Yeah, Matty's having she's having a game. Greta Langan trying to play defense down here. >> Defense. >>

019Greta Lang up to Bailey. Bailey's looking to get over to man. >> Whoa. Okay, it's going to be Auburn ball coming in on the East Long Meadow side around the 30 yd line. One minute left in the first quarter. East Long Meadow is a two to1 lead. Auburn's going to be at the 30 yardd line heading in towards Eong Meadow. Slap shot in. Emma Mau with a smart play to let that go into the back of the net. Eong meadow ball. >> Emma, >> Emtt's just had an outstanding season. 72 saves as a freshman. >> Just an outstanding athletic family. And Emma, as you said, stepped in as a freshman. >> We got a center down here. Abby man's in the circle trying to gain possession of it. Gu's going to insert it. We're going

020to have off his shoulder Auburn ball there. >> Looks like uh that's going to be the last chance in this first quarter as we wind down. >> Okay, so as we wind down, one quarter down. East Long Meadow leads two to one. One quarter down, three to go. >> And already just a super competitive game after one quarter here in Islam. The Spartans, too. The Auburn Rockets won. Back in just a minute. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Spartan Stadium [snorts] at the end of the first quarter. East Long Meadow 2, Auburn 1. And we are finally joined, albeit a bit late, uh, to the game, uh, by Mrs. Kathy Reed, legendary member of the community. It'd be nice if she could show up on time once in a while. Welcome, Mrs. Reed. >> Okay,

021we're going to start off here. I think Auburn's going to have the ball. I'm not sure. Um, but you know, this uh this Spartan team trying to make its own identity. Trying to trying to make its own identity. I mean, they lost in the semifinal up in Frontier the other night. It's the first time in three years that East Long Meadow has not challenged the Western Mass title. So, this team trying to make its own identity by making some noise in the state tournament. >> No question. >> And I I think also, you know, it speaks to the success that's been built in this program has put together over the last several years. Uh outstanding youth program. And I, you know, I think throughout the success we've had this season, we lose sight of the

022fact that we lost 12 12 seniors last year. Uh, on any program, okay, a football program, that's a ton to lose. To lose in a field hockey program is a big deal. And so, I think we've really surpassed expectations in terms of wins and losses. Uh, it's just been a special team to watch all year long. >> Special team, fun to watch. Uh, Grace Martin with a really nice defensive play. And John, to your point, in 2020, do you know what the record was for Eastong Metal Field Hockey? >> Denny, I wouldn't know that. >> I have that stat and I will give it to you right now. They were 0 and2. >> There you go. So, you speak to a team in just appreciate you providing [snorts] historical reference. >> Well, hopefully I can

023bring you some more, but we'll see. I if I can read my own handwriting up here. Looks like Greta Langan's at the 50 yard line trying to put it into Auburn territory. Uh, you know, I got to tell you this number 27 for Auburn. If I could get her name, looks to be an outstanding player. Julia Gray trying to poke it up past midfield. Grace Martin's going to take the ball over to Kendall Reed at midfield. Reed trying to get to the ball on the sideline. Can't quite get it. Uh just past the outstretch. >> Auburn awaiting the inbound. Inbounds at the 40 yd line. Looks like Norah Denalt on defense. Bailey coming on midfield. Hands it up to Pelgro. Abby man with the ball. No call. >> Okay, it's going to be an Auburn

024ball at the 40 yd line. Looks like that was off Man's foot. So, a lift play down to the 40. [snorts] >> Julia Gray coming on defense going to clear the zone there >> and it looks like it's going to be coming in 25 yd line. Auburn ball. John, >> you talk about one of our solid solid defenders and players. You know, you just mentioned Julia Gray. Julia has been rock solid all year long. uh really a true true foundational player for this team has done a great job and we gota got to make a stop here. Uh >> go go. >> Yep. So Auburn's got the ball at the 30 coming in. Bailey with the ball. Bailey going to feed it up to means going to go off Auburn ball. However, no advantage there.

025So Pelgro is going to take it on the sideline. Feed Bailey with the speed down the sideline down to the 20 looking for man in the center. Intercepted by Auburn. Going to bring it out to the 10 yd line. Slap shot down. Pelgro there going to try to insert it. Not sure what the call is. Don't know what the call is here. It's going to be East Long Metal Ball at the 24 yd line. Matty Ser takes the ball quickly up to trying to get it into Bailey in the circle. We got a push on Auburn. So East Long Meadow has the ball just outside the circle. Sells comes in at the 25 yd line looking for somebody. Looking for somebody battling Auburn foot again. Eastong Meadow. Julia Gray with the ball now at the

02625 over to Sel. Sel's back to Julia Gray. Julia Gray with her stick work trying to make something happen. Grace Martin comes over to the near sideline. Feels off Sel's foot. It's going to be Auburn ball at the 25 yd line. So East Lo trying to keep it down on the Auburn side. Uh Auburn's not really going away anywhere. Uh >> Denal trying to poke at the stick here and does gain possession of it. Trying to insert it into the circle and does getting into the circle. There's Denal. Auburn clearing it to the sideline and >> not sure whose ball it's going to be yet. Auburn ball. Denal just missed it. >> Just couldn't get to the end. >> Now you got some speed out there with with Bailey and Denalt with Julia Gray stick

027work. Matty Sel uh just steady play. It's it this team just has a multiple of different talents which I makes it special to watch. [screaming] >> Auburn quickly bringing it up. Slap shot at the 40 yd line trying to get into the attack zone. He slung him out. Here's a SL shot on. Oh >> again. Smart play again. There's nine minutes and 50 seconds left on the clock here. Eastong Meadows got a 2-1 score. Has the ball at the 20 yardd line. Julia Gray with a slap shot just >> just missed an all thing to >> So again, this the MIAA statewide tournament. 32 teams participating in this tournament. One game at a time. Coach Reed has preached. >> Looks like Ava Pelgro. That's going to be Abby man trying to get to the ball

028at the 25 yd line. Near sideline Mattie Sos just off foot however off 27. So it's going to be a red ball. East Long Meadow. Grace Martin with the ball at the 35 yd line. He's trying to get it over to Selos and does. Sel trying to get to the ball quickly. Matty Sos with the ball. Gives it over to Bailey at the 30 yd line. Moves closer to the circle in the circle to Denalt just off Nor Dalt stick. So they're getting closer. >> Again though, Denny, just you know, we talked about this in the first quarter, but just the way that was moving the ball so far in this first half, it's outstanding the way they're moving the ball around. Uh not just down in the zone, but to clear it from the

029ball. >> And East Long Meadow right now has one, two, three, four, five freshman on the field. three forwards our freshman Abigail Manor Denultton Ella Bailey in the front line there and Emma Mau in goal so we're going to have a corner number five here of the game number one in the second quarter and Ava Pelgro is going to insert it to Kendall Reed Mattie Sel Norton Ella Bailey and Abby man insert to Reed Reed's going to take a shot Ella Bailey has the ball however It's going to be coming out. >> That's going to be a off an Auburn player's foot at the 50 yd line. So, Grace Martin's going to put the ball down and try to look for trying to get it up at the man's stick. Close opportunities here for Spartans

030early in the second quarter. Seven minutes left. Two to1 lead. East Long Meadow. And so East Long Meadow is still going to have the ball, it appears. No, it's going to be Auburn ball at the 15 yd line. Slaps it out towards the near side. Looks like Pelgro trying to gain control of it >> and does. >> Oh, gets it over to Denal. Denalt's in the circle off her foot. Auburn ball at the 20 yardd line. It appears >> 25 yd line near sideline looking for somebody. Auburn Rockets trying to get it out of their attack zone with a slap shot down and going to let it go. It's going to be East Long Meadow coming out uh 15 yd line. 6 minutes and 22 seconds left in the second quarter. the two to one

031advantage in the state tournament on Halloween night. John, >> by the [snorts] time we leave here, our neighborhood trickor treat. >> Well, I'm going out. I don't know if you are. >> What are you wearing? >> I'm going to be an EL cat announcer tonight. I'm going to bring these headphones home and go around to the neighborhood. I bet you nobody knows. probably walks around. [laughter] Anyways, >> we got some we got some trouble down here with Auburn just outside the zone. Emma Mau with a kick out here and we going to have it out east long a ball. So they avoid a little problem there. >> Certainly did. Looks like Mmau is going to get her 35th. Let me see. No, no. I'm sorry about that. >> 74 saves on the season so far

032for Emma Mau. Auburn making a push at the 20. Julia Gray over to Pellegrino. Pellegrino down the sideline trying to get the ball. Denalt right there. Taken from Denalt at the 40 East Long Meadow side. goes through Greta Lang and down to the 20. Slap shot in. Julia Gray again going to try to get it out. However, Auburn ball inserts it into the circle off Martin's foot at the 16 yd line. Auburn pushing here with four minutes in the second quarter. Needs to take it back five yards and does. And a shot in and outside and a goal. No goal. A foot foul prior to the goal. >> That was close. >> Especially in front of the net. And not not in the middle of the field where all of the players are. So, it's

033good to see him clear successful there. >> Denal down the sideline. 10 yardd line trying to work the end line looking for somebody at the five yardd line trying to get it over to Pellegrino Denalt stick over to Bailey Bailey looking for somebody looked like a high stick there called going to be at the 20 yd line Auburn ball so that was close down here two to one lead two three minutes and 40 seconds left in the half here >> Auburn >> a little bit more back and forth I think in this quarter that we saw in the first where it was dominated quarter despite a one-1 score I think leveled out here a little bit in terms of time of possession it's a quarter game for a reason >> Auburn coming up Bailey up

034the middle going to feed man's got the ball trying to gain position on it Auburn intercepts at the 30. Bailey coming on. Bailey coming on to the 30 looking for somebody. A Pelgro's in the middle. Good defensive play by that Auburn player. >> However, East Long Meadow ball. It's going to be uh off number 13's foot there. I believe Bailey's going to take the ball to the 20 yd line. Back to Denal. Denal looking for somebody over to Gray. Gray making a move at the 30. Gray resets to Grace Martin at the 40. Grace makes a beautiful move down the middle trying to get it into the center of the field. Denalt coming on. Greta Langan with defensive play at midfield back towards Auburn side of the field. >> That is going to be an

035Eastlong Meadow ball. Outstanding play by our senior Greta Langan who also is the captain of the tennis team here at the Spartans. Looking forward to seeing her in the spring. >> A lot of references to tennis. >> We got a foul here. East long metal ball. One minute and 50 seconds left in the half now. Let's keep the pressure on here. Auburn's pressing now and not gonna waste any time. >> The ref wants her to place it. >> 48 yd line going in. 136 left. Auburn slap shot in. >> That's going to go out. Gwen Gasperini smart play letting it go out of bounds. 1 minute and 20 seconds left. Two to one Spartans. One goal was taken off the board due to a foot foul on Auburn. Yeah, you just mentioned Gwen Gas. Another

036player that has been so ROCK FOR ALL YEAR. CONSISTENT, STEADY, great team player. Been excellent. Excellent all year long for [snorts] >> Bailey has the ball on the far side of the 40 yd line trying to get it over to Reed. Reed down the sideline trying to get position on her is going to feed it into the center where Grace Gio's got it right in there. for Abby man almost comes up with one. Reed re >> Oh wow, what a great play by Reed to get into the circle. >> So 35 seconds left. You want to tell these young kids to play until that final whistle. >> Gray trying to get it into the circle here. Abby man is in the circle and that's what >> which is great even though there's less than 20

037to go on a corner. It's got to be played out. So great opportunity to end the half here. >> So it looks like this is going to be the last play of the half with a two to one lead possibly three to one. A chance for the Spartan. Grace Guile's going to insert over to Denal Reed. >> Ava Pelgro Bailey and Abby man. inserts over to Reed. Reed's going to go back to Guile. Guile's going to put one in just off. >> Just off the corner. Great pass. >> Okay, >> as we are here at the half and we'll see you after the Bro, I'm ready. >> I'm always ready. >> Let me [snorts] get my socks on. [laughter] >> We're on. Welcome back to East Long Meadow with scores two to one in the

038MIA tournament. East Long Meadow leading the Auburn Rockets here. Abby man and Grace and Ava Pellegrino have goals. Is that correct? >> Yeah. I don't know. >> Yeah. >> Well, you mentioned like four people have two goals. So, I'm gonna question that right out of the gate. >> All right. So, East mentioned about four players, so I don't add up. >> Long Meadow is heading from left to right. Auburn going from right to left. >> That's that's a trade right there, folks. letting you know directionally uh where the players are which is staple. >> So we are here in the second half 14 minutes just starting out if you're joining us a two to1 lead. East Long Meadow trying to win their first uh state game of the tournament. 32 teams in it. Auburn coming

039up the middle with an interception. and Greta Langan. >> Pass it over to Mattie Ser's going to go down the sideline to Ava Peligrino. She does save it on the far sideline down to the 25 yd line >> looking for somebody. Back to Sel. Sel's at the 20 trying to get it in to Reed off her foot. Advantage Spartans, they let it play on. Going to bring it down to the 20. Inserting it into the circle. Guile with the ball. Guy trying to get it in there. No call. >> There's a corner. >> First corner of the half. Opportunity for the Spartans tonight. >> You know, it's not surprising, but look at at how Grace Kyle has played all year long. Uh and and even now in this state playoff game, always around the ball,

040especially in the zone, always the ball, always with an opportunity to score. UH AND MAN, has she been she's been just awesome awesome for this team this year. Had a tough injury last year. Has bounced back and and she's a kid honestly that is a is a college level field. >> Well, we look forward to seeing it. Reed's going TO LET ONE GO. JUST missed >> out on the corner. Looks like nonetheless opportunity for start this third quarter. >> John, you talk about these seniors. These three seniors have led this young team through the the the the valleys and and and peaks of this season. I mean, >> they've been the foundation for this team. And you know, when you start a season, so many young players and only seniors, it's so important that the

041senior leadership you have uh is as strong as the senior leadership we've had because you lose 12 really solid players and even better people. That's a lot of pressure on three seniors uh to keep that culture thriving. And they have they've done an amazing job to do just and three great kids, just three fun, great kids. Um great great representatives of this program, this community. Um so you're 100% right, Denny. Huge shoes to fill. They had to fill 12 pairs and there's only three of them. So they've done an amazing job. And not only did they have to fill that, six of those players from last year's team is playing college sports this year. >> Six out of 20. I mean, it's 3% uh I think the numbers 3% of all kids go into uh

042athletics in college. I mean, you got Ava Guile playing at Pace down in New York. She's played in 13 games so far. And Natalie Merrick is at Plymouth State at goalie. She's got 164 saves.
