All right, welcome everybody to tonight's matchup with the East Law Meadow Spartans hosting the Awan Brownies for the first round of actually semi-final round of the Western Mass Finals. The winner of tonight's matchup will take on West Springfield and Minihog sometime next week, Tuesday or Wednesday. Don't know where that game will be, but Brownies are coming into tonight's matchup with an 8-8 record, looking for a win in their next two games to punch a ticket into the States. Leading scorers for Awam were Isabella Spald Spalding going to Farmington State with 32 goals. Giovani with 21 goals, Goodro 19, and Constantini with 17. Spartans finished off the season being the 2025 Valley Wheel
Champs for the second season in a row with a 12 and five record with a perfect 8-0 during league play. We're about to start the game. Kenn Marino as usual on the draw. Cold night. Last time the Spartans played the Brownies, it was senior night and was downpouring. So, a little bit better weather than that game. Ball goes up. Redraw. Giovani on the draw with Marino. Balls up. Addie Jordan gets the ball quickly makes headway over the 30 yd line. Nobody contesting her. She goes in and out. Pulls the ball back and we'll restart East Al's offense. Gets the ball over to Lucas. Lucas quickly turns around, does a dodge, and throws the ball past the goalie for the Spartans to go up one- nothing. 26 seconds to go in the first quarter. That's something

That's Caroline Lucasic's 20th goal of the season. Marino up on the draw. Looked like as if Awan was in the circle on the draw. Nevertheless, Addy Jordan ends up coming up with the ball. gets the ball quickly up to Mack Whitwer. Whitwler gets the ball over the restraining line. We're over to Calibris. Calibres over to Lucas. Looking like Awam's playing a highressured man-to-man defense as M. Whitmer goes through in one out. Two, turns around, fires the ball off the Spartan logo behind the goalie to put the Spartans up two nothing just over a minute into game play. Addy had the first goal
and Ken Mac had that one. First goal scored by Emily Jordan. Second goal scored by McKenna Whitworth. It's M. Oh, Caroline. My bad. Just kidding. Caroline and Kasich with the first goal. I had it right here. I wasn't even paying attention. Sorry, Kim. Ah, that's Matt Whitworth's ninth goal against Awam this year, scoring eight goals in the previous two contests against them. Ball around Kylie Marino this time scoops the ball up. She gets the ball over to Caroline Lease. Kasich around the 12 meter. She does a dodge. Nothing there. She gets the ball over to Mckne. Lucky I got somebody to cover for me at work tonight. Little does he know I will be calling out sick and
he will be working 12 hours for the whole night. Hope you enjoy working all night. Kevin, if you're watching loose ball trying to knock the ball around trying to get possession of it and wants just getting a tough time for a coming up with a draw. Ball gets displaced by Mourinho. Awam holds on to it and a foul by one of the Spartans. Looks like M. Whiter and Awam will hold on to the ball for the longest time they've had all game so far. So Awam looking to get up the field and get one on the board. Jenna Holly last time getting a shut out against Awam on senior night. Jenna's first shut out of the season. It's Addie Jordan's 14th goal against Awam this season. And I'm sure Awam will not be missing Addie Jordan next year. She has that's her 36th career goal against the Brownies over the last
four years. So a lot of girls don't even get 36 goals in her high school career. Addie Jordan has 36 goals just against the Brownies and the Knight is still young. Balls up. Addy Jordan comes away with the draw. Gets the ball over to Marino. Marino to Lucas. Kasich just off Calib's stick and Awam looks to start their offense. Calibris. Show show that to Kim. She gets the ball over to Lucas behind the net
to Whitwar. Whitwar over to Marino. Good play by the Spartans. Double shield as Kenna Marino feathers a nice pass into Addie Jordan. So Addy Jordan gets herself a hat-tick as well in the first half quarter. Spartans up nine nothing. 348 to go in the first quarter. Eastman goal scored by a Jordan. Kenna Marino with the assist. Spartans looking to make a statement for Western Mass tournament. I think this is one way to do it. Spartans not making too too many mistakes so far in the in the game. But as you know going into the Western Mass tournament in the state tournaments got to clean up your game a lot. Awam getting the ball over the restraining line. I think that's only the second time Awam's gotten over the restraining line as Grace Howard plays tight
defense out there. And Awam looking to start it as Shere gets the ball over to Mahoney. Mahoney gets the ball over to Spalding. Spalding with a nice pass to Javanni. Javanni will get herself an 8 meter shot. [Music] Javanni looking to set up to possibly shoot the ball or pass it. She looks to turn around, pass it. Good defense by the Spartans to shut it down [Applause] and but looks like Mahoney turned around and snuck one past Jenna Holly. Awam by Mahoney. Howard looking to split the defenders. Howard with room to operate. She gets the ball over the restraining line over to M. Whitworth to Kasich. Casey goes
in through one, gets knocked down onto the ground by Bernard and good play by Bernard. Otherwise, Caroline would have had clear ceiling in on the goalie. Now Caroline will get a ball and see their placement. She'll have decent placement on the 8 meter. Caroline will look to run it in. Caroline shoots low. Gets nice save by the goalie. M Whit or quickly over there to pick it up. Mac behind the net to Calibris. Calib looking for somebody. Nobody there. Gets the ball over to Jordan. Jordan goes all the way around. She turns around, takes a shot. Nice save by the goalie. [Music] They'll have 40 seconds left in the quarter to see if they can get a goal. You saw playing a high pressure man-to-man defense for the ride. Sheress kicks the ball up to
Mahoney. Mahoney met by Kylie Marino. Nice pass by Mahoney. She turns around, gets the ball to Pazinski. And it looks like Bazinski got hit in the face. Pazinski will get herself an 8 meter attempt with 13 seconds to go. Creable. No. Yeah. Pazinski. Pazinski runs it in. Bounces it. No. No. Good. Good work by Kylie Marino to displace the ball. She got four seconds. She'll just run it out. And the Spartans will go into the second quarter with a commanding nine to one lead. [Music] Hello. I know. [Music] Yeah. [Music] Yeah. [Music] Oh, I think maybe with everybody being [Music] one head. [Music] Right.
Like this. [Music] Can I get some water? Can I get some lock up music? Yeah. What do you want? What do you want? I had a big fight with my students about this the other day and I said, "If I can get lock up music, I either have Welcome to the Jungle or Superstition." I said, "Do you wonder?" They're like, "You think you can pull that off?" I was like, "Yes, I do. I do." That's funny. All right. What What's next? Next goal is what? Thunderrunk. I got everything. You got your list. How' you like your flowers? Getting flowers today. I turn around. There you go. All right, we're back for second quarter action. The Spartans up 9-1. Looking for two more goals for that that running clock so they don't have to be uh
cold today. Kylie's on a draw. Kylie Marino on the draw. I think that's her first one of the career. No, she did it against Shumsford. Yep. Awam gets the ball. Number Spalding with the ball. Constantini gets the ball over to CrarAel. Crarabel back to Constantini. Back whiter there to displace it. Some type of call. Constantini. Constantini running the ball around.
