I mean, I'm I will. Welcome everyone to tonight's matchup for the East Small Spartans versus Notre Dame Cougars. Notre Dame Academy is 8-1 record this year, beating cross time cross town rival Law Meadow on Thursday 15 to four. So I'd like to say thank you to Notre Dame for doing that. Always nice to see another L in Law Meadows loss category. Spartans are currently 0 and2 against Notre Dame Academy, losing in the final four in 2023, losing 22 to6 and last year losing to at Notre Dame 16-4. Spartans looking to change things around after last week, beating WO and beating Awam the other night, hoping to do something good against Notre Dame tonight. Addy Jordan on the draw. Looks like she's going up against Lopez. Just as ball's about to go in, the rain starts
picking up. So, it was nice and dry and now all the umbrellas are up and the girls will be soaking wet in no time. So, hopefully it's not too much of a sloppy game. Last weekend, we lost the Wallpool and they had to plow the field before the game started. So this is better than last weekend. Ken Marino picks the ball up as rear off. Marino with the ball. Takes the ball through the middle. Kicks the ball over the Kylie Marino who has space. Kylie Marino running around looking to get the ball over the restraining line as she does and she'll set up East Alto's offense. Loose ball. Miana Calibri picks it up, gets hit in the the face as she'll gets a penalty and she'll be out on the 12 [Music] meter. Calibri's over
to Jordan over to Marino over to Witwit sees a little bit of room. One-on-one goes by one looking for somebody. Nobody there. Smartly kicks the ball out. Calibris over to Mckne. Keney over to Lucas. See what Caroline can do. Caroline over to Mckne. He's somehow spreading out the offense. Mcknney over to Marino. Marino over to Trullio. Nice seeing Esau Meadow not forcing anything as Marino throws the ball to the backside over to Miana. Miana turns around, makes a move, gets knocked away and Notre Dame ends up with the ball. McCull in the back. You saw me looking for the ride as she kicks the ball back to Orlando. Orlando misthrows it. Now the wind and the rain really picking up and that ball's thrown over her head. Grace Howard there to quickly get the ball
in. So it's two bad throws by Notre Dame and East Lo ends up with the ball as they kick the ball all the way back to Jenna Holly. Jenna Holly over to Kylie Marino. Kylie Marino around the net. She's got some real estate. She's got one more defender to beat. She beats her and the ball checked away as Lopez quickly gets the ball in and she's meeting with Reed who will slow her down and NDA will set up their offense. Woodward kicks the ball over to Hagerty. Hagerty back to Woodward behind the net. The X to Perry. Carrie kicks the wall all the way back out to Lopez. Hagerty with the ball and I believe Grace Howard gets called for a three second. So Notre Dame will reset. Kick the ball back at the top
of the Hagerty. Over to Lopez over to Woodard. She met by Mckne and Jordan. Kicks the ball back out to Hagerty. Throws ball behind the net. Loose ball picked up. She knocks it loose and Jenna Holly ends up with the ball. [Music] You saw me looking to get the ball out of their zone. We'll see what happens. No, no big big pressure by Notre Dame. East Lamel slowly sends in one at a time. Looking for
somebody to get open. Grace Howard's there. Nice pick by Howard. She has the ball. Gets the ball back to Holly. Aaron passes. Ball bounces in front of Marino and skips out of bounds. NDA will start back up with the ball again. Could end up being a sloppy game on both sides if they don't keep the ball in the air. That ball the ball today with the with the ground being wet, it's really going to skip. So, won't be any of those soft landing balls. So, got to keep the ball up today. Hagerty with the ball behind the net. Kicks the ball all the way back out to Woodard. Woodard over to Hagerty. Hagerty looking does a spin on Jordan. Jordan with good defense keeps her out there. They'll reset behind the ball behind a net
to Forest. Forest with the ball looking to do something. Nothing. Kicks it out to Woodard. Woodard met by two girls. Eile playing really good defense. Really not letting NDA in on anything. as [Music] believe that'll be Hagerty will get shooting space. Jenna Holly looking to make a big stop on Hagerty here. Ball thrown up over everything. Looked like the ball slipped out of Hagert's Hagged's stick way over everybody. Claiming that was a shot. Looked like a missed throw to me. But good defense by Grace Howard and Notre Dame again looking to restart it. Hagerty at the top and I don't kind of got called for something. What it was, I don't know. But Hagerty with the ball on the 12 meter as the rain's really beginning to come down now. Hagerty kicks the ball over
to Lopez. Lopez will now get shooting space. No, not Lopez, Warski. Can't give Notre Dame Academy too much of these throughout the day as she fires the ball and it goes way over the net. And that looks like it's good backup by Kendall Reed to Notre Dame offense there. But Kendall Reed gets the inside track and Eile will get the ball. And then they changed it back. I know. She called us, right? Looked like the official called our East Law Meadow way and then changing it up when Kendall Reed or Grace Howard went to pick it up. Nevertheless, NDA with the ball again. Rain is really coming down now. Eagle check and Grace Howard ends up with the ball. gets the ball to Jenna Holly. Jenna Holly over to Kylie Marino. Kylie Marino. She should
have been able to give her the room. Nice move by Kenna Marino, but gets checked away by Hagerty. Hagerty met by M. Whitwer. You saw getting away with an offsides call on that. M Whitler up playing up top. Watts throws the ball behind the net. Kicks the ball over to Woodard. Woodard looking to take a shot. Nothing there. She gets a yellow. Uh she'll get shooting space or some type of penalty. And now it looks like Woodard will be getting an 8 meter. You saw me already escaping two of these today. Don't know how much longer that's going to be able to last. Woodard turns around and she gets the ball. And there it is. Woodard gets on first to be on the board. You saw me down one- nothing. 250 left in the first
period. What's up? She scored one nothing. Do you know which player was? Uh, Woodard. Woodard. Yeah. Goal scored by number nine Annie Woodward. Esau Meto will set up their offense as Eddie goes by, splits the defenders, takes a shot, puts Eile on the board. What a great goal by Addy Jordan to split the defenders, goes one-on-one with the goalie, blasted by her to even up the score 1-1 with a minute 36 to go in the first quarter. Bunch of players today all committed to colleges as Notre Dame has Emma Connory going to North Carolina. Caroline

Nice to see him cut that lead down a little bit. Slowly chip away at it. Scored by Emily Jordan. Marino back up on the draw. That'll be the key to the Spartans. The Spartans can start winning anybody if they start winning the draws. chip away at that lead be away a little bit of time on each possession. Makes sense to me. [Music] Balls up. Jordan with the ball. Notre Dame with a false
start. Name will start off with the ball. Addy Jordan blows by NDA midfielders gets the ball up into the restraining line starting's offense. Jordan behind the net. Just the one girl rolls. Addie Jordan in. roll, turns around, takes a shot left-handed, picks it up, scoots it by, and just misses wide, but looks like as
if she's going to get a eight meter as a call on Rooney for something as the officials are discussing something. Hopefully Addy Jordan's going to get a eight meter. Should be straight on. But like I say all the time, what do I know? I don't know any of these rules. Officials today are are doing a good job. Not like how we got hosed last weekend against Wallpool. These officials doing a good job letting the game really really play on. I got nothing on how the official said something, but somehow Esau Meadow ends up with a ball. Oh, so she's not giving she's not giving her an a meter. Looked like she had the flag up. So the discussion is probably that Addie took the shot, missed wide, but EA was there to back it up.
So we get the ball. This just in. Looked like we wanted to get a They wanted to get a dangerous shot, but it wasn't a dangerous shot. Eile nevertheless with the ball. 044with 540 left in the fourth quarter. Spartans still have plenty of time to get the ball up on the board. Kenna Marino on the draw. We win the draw, get the ball to Mack or Addie and let them cook down the field. Been doing that and every time we do that, then we get the ball to one of the low players and Trullio and Lucas putting the ball in the back of the net. Ball up, bounces around. 047nine in the country Notre Dame Academy. I'm sure Notre Dame coming out to the western part of the state not thinking that they were going to end up having uh this close of a matchup. 049some space as they get the empty netter to go up seven or eight to six. I don't know. I maybe Lopez had that. I don't know. Notre Dame scores with the empty netter due to having Jenna Holly having to come out trying to mark somebody up to force Notre Dame to get a turnover. They get the hockey goal empty netter [Music] 86 which is a good thing because now I mean not good but Spartans can win a draw and go down and score and get the ball again and keep keep doing that.
