001[Applause] [Music] okay here we are just there for tip off between agam school and East High School here at East e e e be [Music] all right and after some brief technical difficulties looks like we are back here uh with East low and agam just getting started no score in the action yet six minutes remaining in the first quarter Ken Marino will bring the ball up for EO outside to Sabina mne looks to operate up at the just inside the midcourt circle [Music] IAM slides in what looks to be a two3 defense Grace Blaze goes crosscourt to Ken Marino takes it up against pressure rebounded by agam they look to outlet L PRI comes down and goes long Over the Top rebounded by canaban and isto retains control my partner Jeff mcky on his way
002back having done some good work to relocate some strategically placed balloons audience can have shot from the camera so we get paid for the big bucks here at that's right so tight match between these two the last time they met a little earlier in the year in Agawam so we're hoping for a good game here this afternoon yeah I believe we we' lost by what three or four points I I should have looked that up ahead of time but it was a it was tight mne runs the point coming over the center cord Circle waits for motion and action goes from Marino to gosin back to Kenna side to sa mcky they're going to swing it all the way from Blaze to Stevens who looks to spot up side of the backboard rebounded by a
003comes out clal Val comes up that a big difference last time Steve to we didn't play I don't think we hit any threes against them we didn't start no so we can start start draining some of those threes and get out of that boring two3 Zone y agam's had a good season so far this year they've done very well and not not blowing out a lot of teams but managing to win managing to win a good number of close games they continue to rotate the ball no one home there ball will be off of agam and will be Som ball Maya noes and Kendall Reed check in for Saina mckn OS still no score here just over four minutes remaining in the first quarter agam applies some extended full CT pressure nolles looks to beat
004the pressure goes to Reed at the middle Reed goes to Blaze Blaze takes it Baseline runs into canavan there and misses the shot but eow pressures and retains possession is Will inbound fromont of the agan bench high scoring game after four minutes down three shots there we [Applause] go so that'll be three shots for my James Harden with a pullback getting the foul going to the line for three on this one we could certainly use some of the kind of scoring numbers the beard would pour in certainly use that nevertheless my's on the line for three makes the first one good [Applause] [Music] work no's Ready's for her second makes the second as well agam substitution coming off uh PRI and coming on number 12 calibri nlls looks to go three for three and she
005something we don't get to say often this year Steve is three for uh three shots in a row for us might have been free throws but we haven't gone three for three all year good job by Maya so agan looks to work along the fer they operate against east's man-to-man defense the corner o blocked by or blocked by Blaze and Marino comes out of it Stevens will bring it up goes to blaze there blae looks back out to Mar swing it [Music] to beak beak looks to find Reed in the high post she does Reed distributes to the corner back out to beak be looks to see what she has Marina with about 10 on the shot clock gets it to BL BLS goes to Stevens again it's a tough shot in the corner deep
006in the corner as clevel makes it to Mid Court looks like we have an Agawam timeout with 3 minutes and 13 seconds remaining in the first quarter it's East Long Meadow 3 agam zero there [Applause] okay here we come back out of the timeout uh agan will inbound in front of the East Long Meadow [Music] bench clev will run the point hands off there to goes outside around the perimeter they're trying to get canaban inside good job by May last who I don't I don't know if that other girl that was here she drained a bunch of important threes against us I I don't know if she's out there is it unless it was it Sol solado 13 it could have been I wonder if she's somebody hit a couple of important threes to really
007maybe her hair is different tonight I don't know it's hard to say I guess we'll find out thanks that might be that might be your answer could have been it I jinxed us right e m breaks the moderate agan pressure goes to NOS on the outside she finds Marino going running Baseline Marino gives it to gosin goes to Stevens back out to no by no there we go oh just short [Music] looks like that was a two for solitario must have had a foot on the line so three to two each long by no Advantage they run a motion offense to the outside try to find someone inside we can't get a handle on it so it'll be a turnover East Long Meadow ball this does not look like the same awam team that we
008played last time no I I I've had an opportunity to see them a few times this season it just and I know their record is quite good but the go we going to the line I know canavan followed out last last game against us think she was one of their only I think he justs he just gave that one to 15 15 I don't well we'll check that later but I thought I thought the same I thought that was a canaban foul I don't even have a 15 on on my list well we'll have to get the truck to check that at half time gosin looks for the second and she makes it 5-2 e long met just under two minutes remaining in the first quarter F brings it up Crossing route back screen nothing
009doing nicely defended by the Spartans outside they try to seal can good job yep good job with push the cour Marino goes to mne goes over crosscourt to Maya noes back to mcky up top Sabina will reset the offense Maya noes looks from oops extended Beyond The Arc here nice take by NOS drible there go and it's the runner nice nice drive by May 7 to2 East will pick up with man-to-man pressure there ball fake moves around the perimeter lots of screening action so doing a good job of that switching and fighting through the conversation's been good rebound Jill Stevens pushing it up the court K turns it over picked in the middle cleva looks to come up good perimeter defense here maybe a quick First Step switch there good double by no come over
010[Applause] oh beak comes in from M mne and Kendall Kendall Reed comes in for goth yep agam will inbound on the Baseline Caitlyn beak on ball defending canaban gets it they rotate around the outside around the perimeter look to get ceville a three-pointer back nobody boxing out on that canaban that's too easy for her yeah you got you can't have the biggest girl out on the court with not even a body at all no got to make her work for those points that's a reaching Reed gets absolutely hammered that's a yikes that's a hand across the whole body yikes that's an easy one to see too as he's taking her let take the ball goes back outside nope no good basket scored but will not count as the buzzer had expired at the end of
011the first quarter the hometown Spartans lead awam seven to four don't Miss [Music] all right and we are back second quarter action East Low enjoying a three-point lead Isa works the ball around the perimeter point guard sa mney looks to change the point of attack goes to Marino to Stevens the far Corner swings it here to Blaze Blaze looks Baseline for Stevens tries to find Goselin on the cut good job she turns into pressure wow he had one over the shoulder another one was tying her up and we get away we get the travel call on it yikes I don't know what to expect when we hit the shot clock didn't call it so the ball is moved around the perimeter on the agam offense they go crosscourt to laprice she tries to take her
012Defender inside is unable to better boxing out that time by the Spartans they've got the first two to the rebound Marino pushes the tempo finds mck the outside ball fakes there looks to top of the key to gosam Marino back to mcky sees what she has there Kenna will take it from there move it to Jill Stevens Jill takes the dribble Drive she's cut off there goes the bounce pass to gosin who look for three off the front rim controlled by agan looks to go quickly Jill's able to shut her off there Mareno repls on ball pressure solitario has to move the ball across ball goes to a priest St Weevil tries they try to find canavan who tries to Bull her way in block by stev nicely defended you want to think Steve I
013think we're either not driving or our passing on the perimeter is just not fast enough to try to open yeah mean a lot of our girls aren't making moves they're not cutting through see Emma gots the ball somebody else has to be able to move there we go now cross take that shot yep that's a foul yikes I think we're gonna get too many fouls here today no no no not at all two minutes into the quarter we've had no fouls called on either team here in the second quarter Beacon for Blaze Marino looks to find someone she finds beak the outside nice ball fake gets herself an open there go good shot uses the glass Banks it in 94 East medal nicely done freshman carrying East medal today they have seven of our nine
014points good job by there on that yep and Stevens will bring it up she gives it to Savina mcki there who looks to find Marino one more there we go a be quicker y y goes back to Jill crosscourt K Marino loses it but retains possession oh jump ball is called before Coach Gary gets granted the timeout and Isam will extend some full court pressure awam having some trouble with the pressure break it to laprice Caitlin beak with a good recovery on the way back Marino bounce passes in the high post to gosin who finds beak underneath turning spin move just over the top the price will come back for that one she'll run the point brings it outside to solitario O finds a nice cross pass yep to La as well so that's a
015nice crosscourt pass but she was also there go nice by dawon there the actions Fast and Furious here 11 to six Spartan lead with 4 minutes and 40 seconds remaining in the first half try to get it inside to canaban and cannot Goslin comes away with it Jill Stevens pushes the pressure or pushes the pace rather mne resets the top we go to Marino kekney again looks for something on the interior nice ball Jill Stevens from the cor that's quicker see when they have the quicker ball move and you get the open shot and if Jill can start running base line in the back should be wide open get that right in yeah they're they're creeping up on our on the upside just like that yep Reen nolles checks in for Goslin and mne but
016it's the same thing now we're playing in two three Zone and There Our Girls creep up a little bit and then you get that back door that back door if if you're looking for it it's there yep haam will apply a 221 221 press ISL looks to have relatively little difficulty in Breaking at that time Reed finds Stevens in the post gets hit Joel takes it to the basket plays through the contact will get two shots yeah now we can ofan out I would just start attacking that inside y Stevens misses the first she'll look for the second and Jill's good on the second Islam extends their lead to an eight-point advantage 14-6 just under four minutes remaining in the first half with that we're six for seven at the line today that's good good
017numbers it's very good y Weevil tries to bring it up goes off of a screen there lots of screening action it's a lot of pass and then screen away for for the hear the girls talking a little bit more about those nice hands quick foul on nolles there like to see the girls call out those screens a little bit a little bit more a couple times you see our girls are really that's at least eating those hards that's at least two on NOS she may have take a break for the rest of the half Tech checks you said with the you don't want anybody to pick up a thir yeah you want that third foul going into the especially when she's got what five of our points right rebound is fought for and good heads
018up by smart by Caitlyn be let it go last touched by agan Spartans will inbound on the far sideline against again what looks to be a 221 Zone press from there it is now you go snap it across Grace B goes back to mcky mcky goes to Marino to Reed regains the handle that'll be off Fagan Carina Marino will inbound with 20 seconds left on the shot clock goes up top to mcky I like when Reed's up on top on the fall get her the ball and she usually she usually has very good Court Vision there Marino picks it up under 10 on the shot clock get saved by m have a shot time oh VI violation because it did not draw Iron that'll actually give Isam however a chance to set their press because
019the ball the violation will be whistled and the inbound will come in so they can set up their pressure which is weird they got the rebound they got the Reb so they had Advantage just let it should have just let it run Caitlyn be gets called for coming in over the top there Jill Stevens checking in for Grace Blaze and you can tell that's a substitution that East Low wants to make the second they saw Canan coming back in yeah you want they want to make sure that Jill is out there um to do to do what she can to keep her off the blocks [Music] agam Counterattack off the backboard off the rim out yep 14-6 easts up with just under three minutes to go in the quarter and half easto looks to break
020that pressure it'll come near side to Marino nice bounce pass to Reed Reed goes into the low post gives it to beak be takes a baseline with a floater nice Flo by you said this is a The Freshman show here today yeah re gets that ball nice draws the double team kicks it out the beak y well done nicely pressured there canavan gets frozen doesn't know what she wants to do at the top of the key back outside oh Cana almost with the intercep goes there Jill defense defends her nicely and it's off and a nice rebound by beak who pulls it back turn around there well got to make sure unlucky unlucky Emma gosin Jackson for Kendall Reed 16 to six now je Jeff with under two minutes we've seen this before with the
021Spartans we really need to focus and lock down in these last two minutes yeah we have seen sometimes at the end of quarters or at the end of halves where we play a really really good quarter good job defensive intensity all the way can of right at her yeah that should have been foul of course it that's a blocking foul you have to call that I we've seen that all year I don't know when you're driving call one or the other it's either a block or a charger it's enough contact to see it from here ball goes outside to Stevens she looks at the three and hits it perfect I would love for the Spartans to lock this down defensively for the last 90 seconds and really really try to drive home some extend this
02219-6 Advantage ball goes out outside High rebound wire they miss whist Marino looks to take advantage now I'd wait I again you don't have to be in a hurry if you get something good that's fine you don't have to ball goes back outside to Jill off the rim off the backboard East meow applies token pressure there goes outside they find canavan at the high post but she's locked she's blocked again before she can take it inside well done very well done yep just lock it up for the last lock it up for the last 54 and a half seconds here looks like 15 got Jaba walkied in the thr on that they try to run her off of a screen can't do it can't find anything inside nice defense terrific over the top defense wow
023easy easy 40 seconds remaining good news is D we won't have to be in position for that last shot no well right now we would like to shoot it with about with about 10 seconds remaining in the half you saw ball with 19 on a shot clock yep so theoretically you could take it down you could take it down under 10 seconds on the game clock no rush no rush you don't want to give agam a chance to get any more points before halftime yeah this isn't our Forte no we have not done a super job with this well 16 point I would have liked to seen them use another five or six seconds on that but awam gets let's see what awam does I think we're going to hold him we're going to lock
024him down I back in at two three oh they won't take the last shot nope nothing doing there five [Music] go mney with the with the buzzer beater oh they got it off but we actually execute last minut plays there Spartans with suffocating defense against we had the last shot the last shot Spartans will go into the half 19 to six e e e [Music] we're back the second half action Spartans leading 19-6 Spartans will inbound the ball uh sa mck has got it up top so Jeff what do you what do you want to see more of in the second half uh more of the same y if we can hold them points again that's that's a formula for Success yeah correct very rarely have we ever held held other teams to mine it
025in single digits in a quarter never mind a half uh Isa meow loses the ball on the alternating possession tie up there uh agan will take it to the other end and see if they can get anything out of their motion offense which did not produce a whole lot in the first half look to go Baseline she shut off there they haven't taken any like three-point shots either no there was that girl solitario hit that the one was like just inside [Music] but nothing doing there front iron rebounded by Ken Marino who will take it all the way back out looks to go Coast to Coast comes to the outside of the arc gives it to mne coach Gary asks for the play to be set and it is back outside to Marino Goslin trapped
026in the corner got to let help her out there coach Gary tries to get the time out sometimes we run I I know that's the play but sometimes they just run it right into the corner right if you run it so deep in the corner it's one of those things you have to read the play it's not there rotate it back the other direction Marino looks to go all the way across Court to M there goes outside to Jill that's a good one that's good rotation front rim but that's what you're talking about Jeff go you know take what the defense is allowing you to take as well oh good shot up and the priz for that one so 19 to8 mney will bring it down slowly the Spartans in no hurry goes High post
027to gosin back outside to Blaze Blaze looks to Stevens goes inside to gosin rotates back she is crushed inside I like to see that a little more give the ball to Emma think she's quicker yeah she's quicker than canavan canan's good but I think as soon as she bites on that first it's all Emma does Emma fakes to her right spins and goes up to her right hand side got the line Emma hits the first that foul was again given to solitario canavan is living a Charmed Life today not getting too many foul calls and eight for nine from the line for the Spartans gosin rattles in the second 21 to8 Spartans lead they'll extend just outside the three-point circle they'll look for that handoff motion off push that up the court and Blaze goes
028to [Music] Marino it's all right hard time getting the handle is meta will pick up at midcourt watch 20 watch clel goes there oh oh can just a little too much body in that I've seen a lot worse today but yes not a not a ton of not a ton of fouls called today so odd to call one at Mid Court nice hands by mcky beautifully anticipated and redit layup steel layup terrific terrific B 23 to8 clell looks to set it again throws it along outside to lpri goes back to clev solitario tries to set there they try to find man they are all over can anytime she gets it she's double team ball goes back to clell can't find her way out nice Baseline pass to to L grenade throws it in yeah that
029was an interesting uh interesting form on that one different sky hook right I'm going to call it a Celtic Skyhook that's not a Lakers Skyhook it's a Celtic Skyhook spoken as any Laker fan would speak uh we've got the 533 Mark in the third quarter uh awam has just broken into double dits the Spartans are ahead to 23-10 those our biggest lead of the season I believe I think that's right minus the chicke game yes so it's still obviously a considerable deficit if you're the agam coach and you want to pick up on any kind of positives you scored six points in the entire first half in three minutes of the third quarter you've scored four so maybe they're finding something they feel like works for them on offense we'll see yeah I think it's
030like a chucker shot well that we got Chuck do chucker shot an unconventional Skyhook yes that's right so teams break the Huddle I'm not saying anything my son had an ugly sky hook so that's why we know we know it well both teams come back out east L extends or sorry awam extends their pressure here East L looks to break the pressure press ball goes into Marino and she's immediately fouled by clev yeah I think if they start trying to uh do a full court process I think we're too quick for them on that that's gonna could end up leading to a lot of right quick breakaways I mean they got canavan all the way back yep ball goes into Stevens crosscourt to mne mne goes Stevens who finds Goselin to mne over to blaze
031that's a good B ration now that's the only thing he didn't get there was the finish that oh well done oh done I like when they always turn into our players yep it's always helpful so on the alternating possession agam will retain it eona will drop back into a midcourt or a halfcourt defense and a will try to run their there's that back door wide open right yep e lto goes to The Far Side to Marino she brings the ball back to Goslin goes there to mney who looks to nice bounce pass to break it Stevens takes a baseline gets it out to blae nice pass she's hit as she goes to the basket no call [Music] prize tries they try to get into Canan they cannot Joe Steven gets a hand on it de
032checks in for Blaze Mayes checking in for Emma gosen and again they box out nice rebound for isto Coach Gary asks for the pace to be slowed for a more methodical halfcourt set goes outside to noes got the small ball lineup out there now goes to noes May noes for three oh just short look good going up o quick whistle there trying to get the double Team trap on that sideline unable to lock it in we go from like no calls for follows to four already this it is strange it's hard to hard to figure least L extends the defense at least with Marino on ceville all the way through that ball is all the way nice take and takes the contact got to be a fall on got to be something swing it swing
033it one more K's got it into the post for Stevens who takes it in inside doesn't matter took it in that's what you want play like that I'm fine that I'm fine with both of them are going okay but on a breakway body to body that's got to be something on a breakway y Jill gets it she's driving there banging bodies down low okay Steven's up top good look back rim beak fights for it gets oh balls loose good job still lose get on the floor for it and it's loose and wild and will be East Low ball three and a half minutes remaining in the third quarter East Low enjoys a 13o advantage 23-10 over the visiting aguan brownies mne has hand checked at least three times there and dribbles through it nicely done
034to beak beak goes to the Sabina fou and well done nicely followed that's how the big body gets down there and grabs that rebound you get those bigs that bang underneath like spenish is able to get it very good mni at the line shooting two rolls around and out on the first Sabina will look for the second you were seven for eight we're now seven for nine on the free throws o nicely rebounded by Jill there by Jill good Marino looks to reset reverses the ball here to nolles nolles back to Marino back to mne again continue around the perimeter mes looks to find a seam finds beak beak to Marino [Applause] M and have the shot yes well done that's right got it all well done well done by what a pass by that's
035an effort that's an effort play a 24 a shot clock expiring you get it up hit the rim get the rebound and put it back that's a winning play like no look over the shoulder pass by Maya that was a great pass you know that looked like that looked like the newest Laker pass luuka are you at all excited about that a little bit a little bit that's why I threw that in there exp AA looks to get to The Cup oh that nice take well done that's twice the PR's driven Baseline like that with a spot up jump shot so with just over two minutes remaining in the third quarter 2 minutes and 8 seconds we look at an East Low lead of 25 to2 over AG there [Music] okay returning to action 208
036left in the third quarter isto 25 agam 12 somto will inbound and awam has called off the full court pressure for now yeah I think we can turn around score a couple more points yeah [Music] of it good steal by look like a double dribble there yep that's what it was hoopfest today in East Low here a number of Youth games against agam all day long and I've had a chance to watch my younger daughter and some some other games I feel like I've seen more double dribbles today than I've seen in the last three years of my life a lot of double dribble calls here today Grace Blaze checks in for Maya NES mne in no hurry as she comes over the midcourt line Stevens has the ball at the top of the key
037turns fires and dra man we are a different team when Jill hits frees now you have Jill takes whatam call that out out the middle yeah that frees everything up nice take strong take can but here we are with a minute 24 left in the third quarter that might be her first really good take strong to the yeah first time she's gone up strong today right it's a huge Testament to the easto [Music] defense he swam youth getting into the uh I don't think anybody can get mad of them right all the kids here today and kavan makes the both 28 14 oh Blaze takes it basine look the gosin inside finishes 14 one all over the body good job by Emma nice nice pass by Blaze too can I had that one yeah you're
038right though that back door is there if they want it that that they just they have not converted many of those that's all dosin brings it up she finds Blaze blae looks outside foul called on number three number three I thought was it three I thought maybe it was five maybe she's the one going out maybe it was I in any event with just under a minute remaining in the third mne will break the midcourt line gets picked fall stol there by the pr Grace Blaze and Emos back turns the favor oh and then very smartly not not in a hurry doesn't give the ball up Blaze to the basket block well done well done it's a good strong take it's one of those calls where goes strong gets the call if she doesn't you
039get Jill wide open exactly nice take by Blaze Blaze hits the [Applause] first th it up 3114 37 seconds to go gra blaz makes them both Blaze solid at the line today Reed goes in oop sorry Reed goes in to replace Goslin 36 seconds left Steve how many possessions you think there is going to be this is three possessions three possessions agam one one for us one more for agam okay there's good board by Reed timeout by coach Gary quick on it now I hope I'm wrong because I would like to see this be the last possession of the quarter and I would like aam not to get it back I would like to think that I said there was going to be three and that there's only two that there was that a possession
040like I said in earlier on I think I think coach got a good idea it's said trick play says last shot and no we get two and we get two or three more shots before no one expects us to go time expires yeah nobody's expecting well we'll see what they draw up here and he's yelling last shot our girls they just take it yeah see it's a trick play kind of like how I am with my wife I don't listen and I pay for it later they pay for it later oh you get all kinds of commentary when you tune in here at alcat now in all seriousness it's it is going to be interesting to see how we do not only in these last 24 seconds but in the fourth quarters we have not
041been in too many positions where we have had to think about what are the smart things to do with an 18-point lead that has not been the situation we found no I bet you coaches worked on that all year in case we're ever up 18 points could be up 20 points after this so let's see all right hopefully it's not to swing the other way no here's SE medal with hopefully what is the final possession of the third quarter awam extends full court looks like maybe a diamond press at this point mne goes to Blaze Blaze holds it there mne resets 17 seconds left she'll be in no hurry well done it's the [Music] clock maybe a push NOP nine seconds left I would like the record to reflect that I called for three possessions
042and this is the third possession no threes no threes no threes oh that's a tough bailout call with a second and a half left in the quarter you call that an Kenna I'd like to see a replay on that one I don't know if you call it hand I mean East not in the bonus but I shooting foul so nice take by Lei but I mean she's backside of yeah that's just not only that Steve you're now wrong on a three point three possession it's something will happen four possession if we get the ball something will happen here something will happen here got it yep fourth possession so once again I was incorrect Spartans look to see if they can salt this one away going into the fourth ahead 32 to 14 [Music] to here
043we are here we are back to the action the final eight minutes here in East Long Meadow Spartans looking to cap off hoopfest day here for the girl side of things the boys will play afterwards at 7 o' in this all day long matchup between a number of the youth teams as well between East lb and agam girls looking to give agam their third loss of the Season yes get some payback for a tough loss in agam a few weeks ago so agam extends what looks to be yeah they're gonna have to do a little bit more manto man they're have try to steal the ball y Marino will set from the top is meow's up 18 it's a carry but it's a hand check which is what cost Clea looks the inbound she'll give
044it to lepri lepri back to ceville who looked like she had a shuffle step there didn't get called solitario rattles it in okay Spartans just need to continue to play good defense do what they've been doing there they go that's a foul no race no good job by pull back there we go get those shots money that's it there we go nice shot by Ken a terrific answer after agam scores at one end and then they come back with a very disciplined possession that's what I like with blaze I think earlier on in the year she would have tried to have taken that this one here she pulls out two quick passes and Kenna Marino drains the three Yep ceva looks the inbound to lepri here and she does cleva looks to take it in
045Grace Blaze with the partial block that's an of course it is it is a timeout there's no whistle that's over the B I mean she came that is it's one thing if you just jump up I mean she came yikes flying in so physically good hard work by Caravan but should have been an over the back call especially when right in front of you but well with seven minutes and 9 seconds remaining I don't think we get any I think they watch the games and they listen to us you know what we're not going to give them any calls those because the two Muppets up there that's what we got called that's what right was that it that might have been it I think I'm sure there are a number of names that Matt Roman
046called us The Muppets The Muppets that's right the two old guys from the Muppets that's right yes he called us those guys up sitting up there Waldorf and staver yeah that's what we try to we try to we try to bring a little bit of uh insight and a little bit of levity should get we should get the Muppet theme music when we start talking that might we might be able to arrange that for the remix we'll see next year next year when we get our new Booth we're calling games from Spartan Tower yeah all right name it whatever you want nobody knows that's right I Nam this place Angus Arena okay and then no one no one knew no they have no idea East L looks to reset agan will extend full court pressure
047once again and as you said you can expect that for most of the rest of the way since they're going to need to try to force some turnovers here but it's a weird it's a soft press they have the one girl that's far far back so yep and the ball goes to gosan there pulls it back goes outside to Blaze Blaze takes the Baseline and by Canan y exactly Grace Blaze gets a arm across the Thro as she drives into the [Music] on Flow fouls on the floor and since that's only one foul a piece for these teams there's no no shots to be had Marina will inbound under the basket and goes outside to blaze has a hard time getting a handle oh Caitlyn beak checks in for Grace plays Gary changing up the
048defense to see what he has play Man whenever Caitlyn be gets in there she always draws the mo the other defender on the other team that's just y so aggressive off ball and she's always she does a good job staying in there she just seems to get somebody that's like a little bit all over heavier than her and just throws the body all over the place yeah ball goes to mne she goes down to Blaze Blaze holds on there goes to Steven St nice look by foul nice look by Jill nice take by Emma I'd like the clock to just keep running yes dur free throws during timeouts I'd be happy with anything yes yes coach Gary's already doing a little offense defensive players with Grace Blaze and be they find they lock in the
049double there get out she does get out of it mcky back by herself now it's a tough spot well no basket even though agam did a nice job breaking the press That's too high on the ball there Kendall re checking in Grace Blaze checking in Kendall Reed checking in for him with Goslin good chance to give gosl in maybe a minute a minute or two try to catch a little bit of a breather until then go in for the you know the home stretch in the last four or five minutes Stevens and mcky go there goes to Reed Reed goes outside to Blaze Blaze holds it there to mne well done I'm a little bit surprised that awam is not showing a little bit more sense of urgency here yeah trying to extend a real
050aggressive press I mean 20 points to make up in six minutes is a considerable being throwing offense down playing back here they not doubling up on that on that ball that seems just that seems odd to me but oh well I mean I'll take it I'm just as happy [Music] nice look turn Drive take it in there we go nice take not no she just got the other one with the cloth line that could be four on her she just picked up too quick I think she had two in the first looks yeah looks like she's coming out she's an aggressive player I bet you she gets her money's worth every game of her FS [Applause] well they're going to they're going to roll with her whatever it is so be for Blaze I think
051you have to well you're right it's 20 points with five minutes I mean five and a half minutes left you're right banked in the second to extend the lead to 20 points 36-6 East Low enjoys an advantage with 5 minutes and 45 seconds remaining in regulation [Applause] tries to find the inbounds PATH there to Canan who tries to get it up throws it over everything re by see I think you have to I I am very surprised I think you have to extend yikes good think [Music] so Kendall Reed with a tough off the ball away from the ball foul there didn't look like didn't look like a very egregious screen to me moving screen oh well so agam will work the perimeter once again still nothing inside still nothing inside ball goes back out
052to the PRI and she's their only real offensive threat I feel today yep very passing and that's press is broken easily there who's that one on no 11 that's on yeah that one goes on one of the Caprice uh one of thei players there Reed makes the first gosson checking in for beak and Reed banks in the second again three for four at the line today the lead remains a 20-point Advantage 3818 with under 5 minutes to go so now is the time you want to just make sure you're being very methodical on offense use the time on the shot clock that's a travel travel yeah oh that's unbelievable I don't I don't know if we're playing in Croatia where that's a that's that's two Euro steps you could have gone from Europe to Asia
053I'm not sure that's a multic continent hey nevertheless for Caravan thanks TR take yes know and that's you know she's their best option is go to the basket so misses the free throw sa goes High to get that one gos midc Court outside to Jill Stevens Jill way down we don't need it we don't yep that's what coach is saying we don't need it we don't need it we're good we can just freeze it hold it yeah those are the ones I don't like taking it to the hoop to pull up three if you start looking at taking 20 or 25 seconds on each possession now you can really shorten this game a lot of time for them to uh you can shorten this game canavan over everything easy easy easy now easy yep very
054good Marina will bring it up yep nicely SP who's check right in front of the referee mney reverses it that's what I would do just no I would have reversed it even one more time CL you 16 seconds left on the shot clock you don't want to shoot till you get that shock clock down to around 10 right let the number of possessions remain in the game don't even give them a sniff of a chance to get back into it we all fairness we haven't been in this situation this year correct why she didn't just go right back up with it I'm not sure nice walk gets it inside unable to convert easy easy easy easy there you go easy when you want to spread out the floor right play a little bit of the
055the old four corner style there you know what I would I would take a shot clock violation I mean I you don't even you don't need the basket use the full 35 seconds a now you're really thinking about it [Music] [Applause] like we used the got about 25 seconds we Ed that time ball goes to the corner you also don't want to be LAX a dle on it either no no no right easy easy good nice screen there by nolles no Cross Court there we go there we go perfect that's well done we this is one of the things we don't do we don't Quick Pass and move to that open spot that there you make them chase us a lot more right exactly right yep nicely held on to by mcky there that's fine
056under 10 seconds under 10 is totally fine [Applause] yep no you don't want to stop the clock for any reason do not foul yep very well done and nothing doing there and again I would two agan players run into each other easy and we see it going to the final two minutes [Music] [Applause] mne whatever cutter was going to be there was not there at the time four substitutions for the Spartans 18 points under two minutes coach Gary giving his starting crew a well-deserved chance for acknowledgement on their way out final two minutes travel there we go Butler checking in for mne done he met up 18 with a minute 41 left ball goes to test Den alt denal runs the point looks to see what she has minute 36 so 96 seconds to the
057end 18o East L advantage [Music] the floater no good awam tries to go inside to the post they kick it back out nothing doing Blaze rebounded there oops off the [Music] AL nice move Y and we'll have a call for a push out of bounds on K voo checking in for Blaze and got at checking in for y defense is set defense is set [Music] [Applause] ni save yep agam continues to work the perimeter nothing doing there ball is taken by Reed 47 seconds let's not be in any hurry very well done Eve with help there ball goes to godet then it goes to Reed Reed to denal denal goes mem tries to get her money's worth but thinks thinks better of it [Applause] [Music] oh got a fou inside well Jeff I feel confident
058with 24.3 seconds left and an 18-point lead saying the Spartans will have answered in very convincing fashion from the last time they played this this agam team it's a nice turnaround but that's what we did to West Springfield we beat up on West Springfield and then they came back to beat us right this will snap agam's five game winning streak up could catapult East Long Meadow into the top 20 in the western we'll just have to see how everything shakes out great defensive effort holding the opposition to 20 points that's a that's a terrific terrific job and stays for agam stays agam [Music] ball communic down low can afford final 8 seconds awam looks to go long can't do it mem tries to get her money worth stats trying to get those stats going I
059love it your final from East lto East lto 38 agam 20 congratulations Spartans good job Jeff always a pleasure have a good night everyone
