we invite both veterans and current military personnel to please stand we thank you for your service to our country we now invite everyone to stand at the honor America with the playing of the national anthem [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and then yell up you ready buddy ready okay we're we're ready whenever you are welcome everybody for tonight's mat up against e met spans versus The Long Meadow Lancers go ahead last time we played them we ended up uh winning was it three to2 scored two goals in the last two minutes from mie Jordan to uh seal the Victory and hopefully Esa meow can do that again tonight we could certainly uh certainly use the victory a tough tough week for your Spartans last week two contests on the road uh both losses um one closer
than the other very tough game in Northampton uh and then a hardfought match uh in lllo so be good to get back in the win column tonight and uh Spartan's no better team to do it against here than the Lancers from Long Meadow it's always a good time to uh beat Long Meadow when they come in you everybody knows I'm not a big fan of Lawn Meadow unfortunately uh it's not these girls problems their parents decided to buy a house in La Meadow but hopefully East LA Meadow can uh get a w on the board tonight so good luck to all the girls of course you've done your due diligence as a multigenerational East longw Meadow Family that's very good that's very good so good good work looks like both teams are just about Set
uh the Lancers is about to break their huddle in the back and we'll go through and see how things go uh under the lights the 7 o'clock start looks like we'll be just about on time this evening a couple minutes behind perhaps and hopefully we're good to uh good to go I saw this play the other night if long meow runs the same play this Ball's going to go deep to the right hand Corner this is what they ran against minog and they'll try to send two Gunners on NFL kickoff style down towards that back and see if they can overwhelm her that's what it looks like well didn't get as deep as they wanted it controlled by Bella white outside to Grace Moore who build from there looks to Sabina mne nice move well
done amusa back to mne goes to the midfield for Anna Roman looks Marino looks to open the field out to petto Lost there Long Meadow looks to counter quickly ball slotted through Marino steps looks to clear Susa has it and it misplayed at Midfield by long meow mck to apply some pressure ball goes through Long Meadow looks to reset at the outside back position on the far side of the field and goes from there nice step by Roman forcing long met to play the ball back they regroup at Midfield out of bounds off the Spartans for a Long Meadow throw controlled at Midfield by your Spartans winning it mne looks to switch a good Ball moving to space Roman has space serves it long ball through to petto and it'll Long Meadow lets it run
for a throwi in balls up in the air one out of the air by Canam Marino out of bounds a lot of back and forth in the first minute or so here je yeah I mean what I like to see so far is we having two quick passes and switching the sides of the field so that should open up some more space for us rather than just you know typical kick and run style so we keep working on that be nice get some switches then you can get the through ball up top to Addy Jordan or M whitward and we're in good long throw from Kenna if you can force those long medal or Defenders to play with their backs to the action and face that goalkeeper that's a good situation for East Long medal
tonight you want to be able to turn those Defenders if you can do that they've got um if you force that long meow goalkeeper to make some plays I think that's going to be in the Spartans best interest tonight nice ball to the outside mne gives Chase and it'll be a East Long meow throw little bit bit of a different offensive setup for laow it seems tonight it seems they have Cam GRE Greenman playing defense last time she was playing Striker for him and uh Gracie D Stefano looks like she's playing up top two where as last time she was in the Midfield a very astute observation Jeff that's the same setup they went with on Friday night against minog and we said the same thing coach pantuso has clearly made some shifts in her
lineup or at least her positioning since the first time we met for the season opener now this is the second time around for us playing them and all the rest to the teams in the league so you kind of know what everybody has and oh player down is that Grace Moore Grace Moore momentary stop in the action both teams grouping their huddles while Grace Moore is attended to on the far sideline [Music] Happ that [Applause] so looks like Grace gingerly gets up on her feet to get on the cart um we hope that that is just a minor tweak in that Grace is ready to go soon okay to reset the action for you we're just about three minutes into the game no score uh between your VIs visiting Lancers from Long Meadow and the
Spartans of East Long Meadow get an East Long B throwing here Kylie Marino in for Grace ball fought for on the far sideline another East Long Meadow throwing emusa to throw it in off Long Meadow again fought for in the corner another East metal throw in slowly but Shirley advancing the ball into the corner and deep into the offensive third there balls one served in Mack with a Chance double teamed almost immediately that Long Meadow defense closes nicely and we'll have another East B throw ball is thrown in looking to switch one more maybe Susu with the ball that's struck and out of bounds for a Long Meadow goal kick I was told it's Sosa oh Sosa okay I'll have to thank you I'll fix that up thank you constantly in suit of perfection here
in the booth us wait maybe I'm wrong now I'm second guessing myself what what it was supposed to be well we'll we'll make sure we clear it half time ball goes deep into the East Long Meadow end turned and played out there for a long metal throw in on the far side of the field Ball's played into graci to Stephano looks to operate there gets the ball through to okay and that's going to be a tough ball nice step by defended kenada to step up they had a bunch of Runners out if that got through that would have been trouble for us so momentarily out of danger though Corner kicks have been something of a difficulty for the Spartans to defend obviously set pieces are always tough Corners are always challenging see the ball win
the ball clear it reset go from there so hopefully we'll see some action going toward the ball Long Meadow sets hand is dropped and the ball's about to be served in it's a good ball to the middle of the net one byow good job Bop ball served in one by Ken Marino turned up field by Addie Jordan Center back Jill Stevens plays the ball out so that ISO can regroup start again their defensive third [Music] throw in goes to Marino plays it nicely off of a Long Meadow attacker to win the throw in for East Long Meadow another nice throw for Kylie sorry the other my fault yep another good ball that's a great throw can of good work almost one by petto there and it's a high foot not sure what the infraction was
there out of bounds throw in Oh I thought we were okay very good Shadow pokes the ball through M whitward will give Chase this could be problematic petto looks to close that out Cameron Greenman turns the ball nicely out for Longo in the back East Longo looks to continue to apply pressure as longal Ready's to throw the ball in this is where we need to lock it in get a switch of the field to Stefano wins the ball and it's a foul call just short of [Music] Midfield looks like we're going to get a Long Meadow kick from there perhaps a push on Anna Roman 32 minutes remaining no score Long Meadow versus East Long Meadow nice step by Anna Roman and good Ball's played back Whitmer looks to apply [Music] pressure oops the shadow
got a touch but then it looked like long meow may have gotten oh nope I thought it was touched again by long meow before it went out not the case balls up in the air one by Emma Bella white with a foot on it send it through oh looked like a good time to push that ball through by Gracie Toano getting chased down by the marinos and the younger Marino gets in there and kicks it out of bounds oh good terrific closing speed that's a great way to win that ball Kylie comes from the other side of the field to help out her sister Kenna and stops a breakaway good work by Mia petto oh and balls out throwing slow met yeah Kylie covered a lot of grounds to come over and get that uh
to force that ball out that was well done nicely played this keeps we seems like we just keep doing it we don't possess the ball we get the ball and we just kick it they get the ball and it just keeps coming right back it seems like it happens over and over I'd like to see the girls get a little bit more possession of the ball make low chase after us and instead of us doing all the chasing all the time ball goes into Bella white Kenna with there looks to keep switching here over to Roman oh Emma with a nice ball good Bella operates at Midfield looks back to Kenna they got a space Lily dun and Emma Susa in Pursuit oh and it'll be another East Low throwing see Low's patient when we
have the ball they're waiting for us to make that pass and they just try to time their our runs and try to intercept it well played by MC witor that's wins the corner well done well done now this is a place you need to be very dangerous if you can make that Long Meadow keeper play this ball that's what you're looking for it's place that there there's a the potential vulnerability you've got to put that in try to get her off that line and see if you can make her come out and then maybe just punch one right in here I agree let's look for Jill Stevens on the headball nice serve Ball's coming in it is a head ball but it's Emma and not Jill Emma does win the header better first to the
ball W it played through good work Bella white in position wins the ball to play it back in Emma looks to close out there little nudge from behind Ball's dropped into Kenna's Corner tough ball with two people in Pursuit plays it out nicely to Lily dun Lily turns nice pass through give that back to her yep it's a lot of things we don't do that I like to see a lot more with that give and go the ball Lily made a run down the field and we try to cut back go back to the defense give that give and go and you're off down the lines ball goes to the middle Kylie Marino steps looks to go outside to Ari Goldman Ari uses her body to Shield the ball to maintain the throwin for East
SL medal Kyle will get ready Kylie will get ready to put the ball back in play and she does with a nice throw there looks to win Jordan and sus it together there good room to operate one more send it Corner yes that's a great ball right to LLY dun tries to cut her back maybe one touch to M good job there you go fres it's a great through ball like you're saying that's what we need to see those through balls there that was a good good example of one there when the through ball when the through balls are on the ground it's a lot easier for our girls to be able to control rather than that up over the top bouncing around and keep it on the ground put it through one touch and
get a shot La metal girl closed in on really quick on Lily Susa pushed from behind Okay that was a little that's going to be an aggressive match up with those two in the in the Midfield Gracie to Stephano in the games I've seen her she's very talented and physical girl out there yeah she's in my my game notes when I was getting ready she is somebody that is an opposing coach or player Gracie this defo has the potential to be an absolute game wrecker terrifically skilled and a really physically strong player as well change in the action as East Low sends on actually both teams send on a number of substitutions here Eve Butler and Sabina mne in for Emma Sosa Susa Susa Susa I got the confirmation it is Susa and go good
work we make goalkeeper Emerson vho off the line Looks to reverse Fields there's a roll out with a lot of room ahead of her for Kylie Marino serves the ball up what a good ball yep Addie Jordan nicely done Ball's played to DFO in the Middle with room to maneuver she drops the ball back outside play ahead for a long ball long met was looking for that they did not have em kasperowski tried to play that ball ahead and just missed connecting with Harper ring Bloom up top tough to see in front of the bench but the ball was played out by East Long Meadow Long restarts with a throwi in throw in from there and it's a East L throw in from deep in the corner looked like maybe long meow got away with
a push nope the referee saw it did call it going down well done nicely done Jill Stevens ready is to put the ball back in play nice ball to whitler Good Touch by looks to turn Jill plays it out for a reset uh to reestablish their shape and defensive positioning for East Long Meadow still no score just under 25 minutes z0 here in the first half ball is played a crazy bouncing ball up and over Marino plays it over the sideline to regroup for another opportunity for the Spartans to defend a throwi in from the Lancers Kylie Marina wins that ball Bella white plays it out Addy checks back for pressure it's a very high line for long meow right now if he long medow were able to win this ball pop one over the
top could be Off to the Races here another Troublesome ball in played out by Jill Stevens well done and looked like perhaps an offside but difficult for the referee to see that on that In-N-Out action and the ball runs long for a go for a East Low goal kick Yeah Anna Roman and Gabby DIC in for Ari Goldman and Eve Butler say I like to see the girls contain a little bit and let La meow got to win got to win that ball you got to win that ball you cannot let longm win that ball at the 30 and go in like that that's a very dangerous ball it was a ball that was one in that area that was the the deciding goal in the lllo game very difficult to let somebody get that
ball and settle with a good look from 25 or yards good work by Gabby discy to get the ball out of the corner let's look to see if we can switch this ball yep the idea was there one more looks now we got numbers and out runner from Li D sus stays right on it and play back long now we can get possession and work our way up quickly ball goes all the way back to keeper Emerson Vino she looks to change it and out Marino B white with the win now look to change and the ball will be played we'll run long as Kenna gets ready to for the quick restart long throw to Addie who got pushed no such call unlucky Kenna can't quite run it down before it bounces away long meow
with the ball at Midfield one by Jill Stevens LLY done with a nice poke to the middle Emma gives Chase Anna Roman wins it but it gets blocked through Kylie Marino plays the ball out long chance for East Long meow to regroup here win this ball and Counterattack from deep in their own defensive third nobody settling the ball the last few minutes with the ball just ping ponging around that looked like it was off Long Meadow goal kick free long meow Ball's played Short to Ken Marino goes by the first yep tripped up as she goes chance for another restart here K of looks to go quickly serves the ball down the line chance for Bella white on the header Stefano wins it there Roman tries to possess can't quite keep it [Music] in or
Spartan substitutions Bella white and Addy Jordan coming off o nice layoff like a they might have gotten Jill for a push there now again this is the kind of place where you've got to set piece letting them have a strike from about on the football field it would be the 30 there it's a little bit deeper but this is a Troublesome place to have to defend a so 40 40 yard shot the ball's likely going to go up and over that line right on to the PK area yep goalkeeper sets her wall ball goes off to the outside good work by petow yep Ken Marino saves it and got space kid I know I know coaches like those plays Jee I on a ball like that F Long Meadow I want a dangerous ball in
the Box I much better chance of it bouncing around and I guess you're looking for a a one-on-one that that maybe you get that match up and then Tia uh tiao for yeah she's she's a she's a pretty good player she just came in I don't think she I didn't see her out there in the beginning of the game but every time the ball's down in his left- hand side it seems like it just stays there for three or four minutes before it can actually switch Fields switch it move it it's two another two more times it'll finally get into the middle ball is served up one nicely out of the air by Jill Stevens well done oh ma with the touch all right open the field up here a little good ball gab distribution
nicely Stepped On by long meow that was a good look e long meow looks to regroup long meow has a runner is tieno on or off no s the flag or the keep her out there don't die don't dive at it just contain contain from there contain looks to clear that's that ball bouncing around everywhere M hit by the Stefano good for us oh yeah that's one of the things when you get somebody one-on-one in the corner just contain them you dive at it they can now now that can make in trouble they can go in on this end line have a nice little cross to the middle and could be trouble but it wasn't so we got away with it so Saina mne Lily Don Gabby decol out Bella white I miss I miss
I was not I am that is a I'm going to have to in my when I do my announcers training school in the offseason I'm going to have to get better about watching those substitutions e SL M looks oh that looked like a well I guess High foot but there was also a low that was bending low on that head so maybe not nicely controlled there by Jordan looks Tango looks to distribute oh terrific possession at M that's just very good skills just don't dive at her ball goes in awkwardly and it's harmlessly out of bounds for an e slow goal kick just over 17 minutes to left in the first half Spartans zero Lancers zero it's nicely served out of the back that's a good ball o to stepan on the ball she seems
like wherever that ball is in the Midfield she's always there the first game think she must have had like 35 head balls it's funny how it works that way with good players oh ball is served Bella white wins it still up in the air out of the air nice foot on that by Bella white I [Music] think yep looking to control this ball and win it rather than just play Survival Mode here oh can kind of thought that was going to be an EO throw referee did not see it that way white throw going to be a long BS up in the air goes over difficultly done there mango has a chance to turn on that ball and serve it again gets it back on her strong foot GNA be misplayed for a nope gets
the Emerson that's one see that just the girl's got she she's got Good Foot Skills she's quick with the ball so keep her outside and go just keep kicking the ball got got it we at some point we have to just have possession last 10 minutes like you said just survival mode we kick it and they just keep coming right back down and that's a dangerous way to try to operate because that only works for so long we got to try to keep this ball a little bit and put some pressure on Long Meadow and make them React to what we're doing rather than vice versa petto fights for possession ball is knocked around played long and out be a Long Meadow throwing it's going be a long 55 minutes if we keep going like
this yeah we got to establish some establish some control and possession if we're if we're just looking for a a mishap on one of their Defenders for us to get a breakway and that's our way of scoring a goal we're going to be in trouble y we did that against North northamp and they pass the ball and in a 10-minute stretch we possess the ball and we put them on the Panic here just little bit of controlled passing here swi the switch y lot jammed up and bottled up here it does seem to be getting a little bit Frozen on this left side as you had pointed out Jee the idea of just sort of maybe if that is not working you play it back and try to switch Fields if you can change that
point of attack and give the defense something new to contend with high ball played out of bounds here to the Long Meadow sideline that'll be out for an East Long Meadow throw good long throw up and over to petto hands on her back now this is a place where we want to serve a good dangerous ball from about the demarcation of the 20 for the football markings be a good chance for Anna Roman to serve ball and again I'd like to see this ball dropped about eight 10 yards from goal let people run onto it create some chaos make sure somebody crashes the net we haven't been doing that in much this year either I think only Ari Goldman crashed in that in the beginning of the year and that's one of our few goals
that we got from uh crash in the net we least got to get a body on this Roman looks like she's ready East Long Meadow ready to go Long Meadow goalkeeper sets her wall the action starts to go through beautifully served ball o and Jill Stevens right hon her nicely served little bit wide but nicely served from there and Jill with very good pressure all the way up from the back and noticing on that the keeper didn't even come off her line that's only three yards off so we can get that ball out a little bit get her off the line and uh poke one right through that's it nevertheless still not a shot on that still not yet I was hopeful that maybe with an inexperienced keeper I thought maybe she'd help us out
and put a hand on that one as it was going out this how was last game we didn't neither team had very many shots on that right I don't believe right certainly not in the first half that it turned into kind of a flurry in the second half a showdown yes and E might well ready for the corner that I was looking for before looks like is that Kylie Marino coming all the way down for that oh maybe not sorry throwing I thought wishful thinking on my part Marino sets for the throwin deep in Long Meadow territory so perhaps good throw in good chance to turn this into a dangerous offensive weapon here flipped up and over by Jordan that's saved on the saved on the endline from going out that was well played I
couldn't tell which long met Defender that was but that was well played might have been green saving that um or actually ring Bloom maybe his number four back there nicely nicely done to save the save the corner kick if your long metal we got Ari Goldman in for Mia petto and Lily done in for Addy Jordan yep we got that one ball comes back Jill Stevens plays it back in pressure those Defenders good job Mac and we're looking this is where we want to shut down passing Lanes make them just kick and run make them keep it in their defensive third that's where you want to keep them they do not want to live there they want to play it's probably a break for East Long Meadow that was a ball with some Pace going
through off the official's face possibly chest off of his chest so we'll have a restart drop ball here didn't phas him he was ready he a tough cookie I don't think we've seen this officiating crew before Jeff this looks like a new this looks like a crew that I am not familiar with no I think all the parents that don't know anything about soccer Chase all the officials out we are looking at a nationwide referee shortage that is in fact correct you know I've told you before that's gonna be my future job you've often spoken of that being one of your one of your retirement side hustles right there yeah I can't wait till I coach I uh officiate one of abad's games he might he might get tossed good reaction here in the booth
nicely won by emusa to turn the ball back and it's loose here settled by Roman settle it looks for an option no one open and Ken step by Kenna yep played through Goldman drops off Long Meadow nope no touch oh y you can see that yeah little bit of push in the back there we'll have to reset [Music] this one where you have to watch got to watch that ball that goes across the field that service that through service be mindful of that ball going across and looking for a runner down the middle gra Manning taking a kick another person who changed a lot in the position they had her in last time she's been moved around as well she's normally a Defender I saw her earlier on at Midfield yeah I know if they
wanted to go with some of the uh bigger girls out there with the height in the Midfield Jill Stevens with another win kasperowski wins it momentarily e lto looks to go quick restart from Goldman into Bella white looks to switch maybe nope ball comes right back down that same side Center back Jill Stevens up to the task but not won by isow at Midfield shoulder-to-shoulder play there good job L LLY done to get the throw in for E long meow eight minutes and 40 seconds remaining in the first half here between in a scoreless tie between long meow and East Long meow Addie Jordan in for Bella white and sorry that's Kim groski is out for oh that was good look at you yeah it's gonna be a well-oiled machine by the time we get
to the end of the season like I said I need to have a bigger font in that uh on that landine that roster yeah okay a maybe like 25 long whistled for a foul at Midfield Jill looking to play a ball again this might be a place for one of those up and over balls to put some pressure on that goalkeeper make those Defenders turn their backs and Chase Jo's been good out of the air today flick through send send Ari yep Mo nice step one more yep now one more one more n that was one more through like you said one more to continue that action one more through take a quick look up Matt whitward was making a run and you had Sabo mne on the other side like Goldman may have been
nudged or pushed there no such call kasperowski looks to get the ball back in for Long Meadow fought for there nice move by Veno there tries to push the ball to the middle long meow with some numbers coming forward slots it in doing not cleared by the Spartans now one out of the back by Kylie Marino coming out with a headful of steam this could be a good place nice ball well done well struck to M whitward SS's got it can send it long to Goldman long to Gold there's the ball very good got Addy Jordan back one touch there and cut that ball back well the buildup was good the buildup was good that's good couple passes got us out man you can nice nice take by Kylie Marino bringing the ball to space
certainly was that's what happened your Defender turns around comes out of the back field instead of just kicking and running it she wins it takes the ball to space has possession and three passes and we're close in Bella white back in for Lily Dunn like I said I don't want to sound like a broken record but it think I it exposes where long meow wants to play that game they want to play that game in the middle that Midfield middle third they don't want to play in their own defensive ends no they play a high line Y well Bad Touch bre yeah nicely run down by by Marino don't have her number on it it out this was from the beginning of the season when I printed it out maybe another addition so no worries
kaspari looks to throw the ball in here it's a deep throw in for Long Meadow plays it through to Greenman one by white M whitward with a Chance places gives Chase plays with the Mis touch Roman with a chance to see the field oops tries to slot that ball through does not quite get through red idea up Stephano uses her body to shield and win that ball container oops careful with thano there goes wide far post that's the third time we've had uh she's had the ball one-on-one and gone by the defender at some point I hope they just uh lock her down and just keep her out there that girl she's fun to watch she is fun to watch try to try try to turn her outside if you can if you're G to
get beat try to have her beat you outside rather than inside ball goes to Bella white looks to maybe we looking to switch nice turn back C there luckily well done yep one more one more too much in the bowling alley here we got to switch it over widen that field out too thin too wide ni step by Kylie one more good job SAA numbers yep that's well done that back and forth give and go well done that's what we're talking about yes back again nice rip played by the go by cor kick no goal kick H I don't know what's worse my eyesight or my homerism hoping for the hoping for the corner kick on that one I'm not sure w once again nice five six passes in and out of everybody that looked
better and it's funny how on those possessions we end up getting good offensive chances good things happen when you keep the ball and pass like that once again Bella Bella white brings the ball up from the back field rather than us just kicking it get that ball into that open space make them turn their back three and a half minutes remaining in the first half and a scoreless tie between Long Meadow and East Long Meadow Jill Stevens plays the ball out of the back controlled by Manning she comes forward looks like she has room to operate at Midfield they hold that line off that line out for line takes it makes the save well done good job by Emerson last five minutes of each half right that's what you want to close out strong nicely
played there go get it Emma and it's on with a chance to go by or oh nicely shouldered off by I think was that nice step by Kylie Marino Saina mck the ball nice distribution to Eve Butler looks to play the ball nice layoff by Mac Wht Well Done by Bella white looks to see what she has plays the ball back calmly to Kylie Marino serves that ball outside Addie Jordan nice turn oops okay he's SL throw looks like Jordan will have it for the restart looks at what she has Addie plays a short throw into Susa who turns and looks to operate from there no such luck ball Runs Out f e slow meow throw in Kylie Marino gets it back in back to mne room to operate nice distribution to to Susa there
just into too much traffic goes back and wins the ball back herself good mne looks for somebody wide no one there so she versus serves the outside again there nicely done looks to Jordan Jordan tries to give to the corner let's go very good eve Butler through gold nice step get out wide for play it Square that's the ball we need to run on to that's the ball we need to run on to that's the one forcing a misplay there in that box that's that's the ball that nice step by Ari good work by Ari Goldman gets throw inside the last two minutes this time will be kept on the field by the officials what's that out of bounds I did not see what that might have been a throw in Anna Roman in for
Eve Butler and Gallagher in for I have to wait till that number gets bigger is that 15 maybe in for for Kate moio machio oh no that's a fair challenge that was a nicely won ball that's an unlucky call for the Spartans right there Sabina mck Sabina mne wisely steps in front Jill and Kenna got to make sure they get on the same page there gotta make sure we get numbers back here you don't want to get anything foolish here in the back two Defenders on that ball I hope there's someone in the middle nicely won let her freeze it yep well done it's out of bounds good work by Ken Marino expertly played Kenna with the long throw oops and that ball is ripped by Gracie to Stefano somewhere into the construction zone Marina
with another nice long throw misplayed by long metal there we go and go go yep a and that's the half a lot of action in the Midfield but no score to show for it after one half here at East Long Meadow it's the Long Meadow ler zero your East long metal Spartans zero e e e back for the second half of easta medal versus LA medal uh score is z z see what changes uh coach Tim Gary has for the girls while meow is out there you saw meow in their huddle still in the Huddle looking to looking to try to find a way to unlock something in the back and hopefully I said I think if you just continue we were talking a little bit at halftime about we're able to contain or when
we're able to develop sustained pressure possess the ball um switch Fields attack some of those backs attack that goalkeeper good things happen so we'll see how much of the possession that we get to maintain here in the second half lot of uh parents from East Met's last year's team lacrosse team here tonight come support the East metal girls I think that's probably because the uh W metal coach after losing the East laow rumor has it I don't know if it's true or not but I heard he quit because Esa meow beat him in Lacrosse I that's what the internet said so they don't lie well there I mean this and we're off Cub reporter Jeff mne with the inside scoop here Susa looks to go Shields are off nicely looks to Ari Goldman Ari goes
to slot the ball back through Susa can get there on the inside run nicely done well turned good work by Emma goal kick but that's good right out of the shoot I like that off the I like that that off the um the opening kickoff let's see if we can lock it in now and maintain some pressure down here in this this end Long Meadow looks to play it out for the goal kick ball goes out left side one by Ari Goldman battled for there two or three slow me players look to win it Anna Roman does comes out of the scrum with it yeah that's going to be a out saw that one coming get as you mentioned earlier Roman and dno that's two that's Clash of the Titans there two physical players yeah
they've been going at it today a little bit uh every time they get near it afterwards it seems like there's an elbow shoulder shoulder not elbow elbow shoulder shoulder two hard physical players good place dangerous ball here you get that ball to The Far Side maybe get a cross Runner coming through nicely sered finish it yes finish oh Jill Stevens almost with the putback on a good work by Ma whitward crashing the net on it that's the kind of go that's the kind of pressure you put on that keeper that's what we're looking for more balls just like that oh got Emma out wide good serves are there oh cut back by m nice ball now in the Box yes there we go good work by the box or is he going to call it
right outside where is the whistle GNA be I think it was just outside I think bodies went in yeah and he'll play it a favorite of referees on any any fouls anywhere near that box funny how they get moved about a yard or so out In fairness that one may have been just outside the box but this is again a really dangerous ball you just had an opportunity like this about a minute ago a good chance to win one here this is one you had a little Chip Shot want a little chipper hang it right up and over yep there it is Chip who's there oh finish it finish it oh he Ball's bouncing around in the Box nobody gets a foot on it good Ball by Anna Roman though yeah nice serving exactly what
you needed there that like you said that chip kind of up and over settle it go out wide go out wide yep yep bring it back this way Roman looks to the corner for Goldman quite get there the idea was right good work by Emma Ball's one for n SLO throwing oops talk it up there you don't want to give that ball back at Midfield make sure those touches and make sure we know what the plan is another switch operate this is numbers could be no Jill runs it down nicely done played back to Emerson Vino in the goal plays the ball up and out gota watch out for Tano and not play it to her oh nicely served by that's the kind of ball we need right through from mcky to whitler Well Done
nice service Jordan holds her run nicely defended man that's nice ball that Saven served to the corner Bella white and Ferrari Goldman she's getting taped up at halftime good work by Ari Goldman out there for few minutes putting the pressure on the ball first four minutes of the second half 36 minutes left in the game still a scoreless tie here between long meow and East longto ball rolling wideo there the Marino girls together played nope Paul's played harmlessly out a deflected by an East metal player either the keeper or or one of them that'll be a corner kick for Long Meadow this is where we look to win this ball and clear it D's got a mark up Stephano yeah Mark her up you want to make sure they're gonna be looking for her try
to put it on her got to win this ball and clear it nicely served and it goes all the way through h criminal from a coaching point of view you hate to see a ball if you're you like to see somebody wide to try to pick that ball up if you're on offense you don't like to see that ball run all the way through drives coaches crazy Jordan fights forward to Midfield Addie continues to play through applies good pressure that ball may run wide and it does let's look to counter quickly let's look to counter ball back in [Music] teeno operates in Midfield slots the ball through the stuff this is dangerous somebody needs to step on that ball nice step by Jill Stevens good work can't allow them room to operate in that sort
of section of Midfield back got space mne takes her space serves the ball through just broken up nicely contained and Kino plays it out reset the defensive alignment for the Spartans Bango with another nice turn and the ball goes through Vino out looks to switch Fields looking for Mack witler maybe ball goes through to the middle and bounces twice before anybody gets it nice step by Kylie Marino in and the ball Runs Out For A Long Meadow throw that's that's a tough little Midfield they have right now with Stefano and yeah out there that's that's a lot of it's a lot of skilled skilled possession and skilled touch there again you want to look and contain her here yep [Music] Susa could run all the way through this one make her play it yep make
her play it yep very good mney looks to make her play it out bengo wins it on the sideline ball goes through nicely run down by Jill Stevens to contain the contain the run there good work by Kylie Kylie's having a solid game back there she certainly is step out here ball gets through and G I know you want to win that ball always un forunate try to give up the corner but Ken does the smart thing to win the ball reset it here let's try to clear this and go voo waves a couple of big bodies back into the goal a couple of our taller players bringing Susa back to help defend on the corner Long Meadow sets for the corner and the ball is in nicely served well done nice good work by
great job excellent punch out what a great play by Emerson to come out and knock that out [Music] of way to come out and get a get a good hand on that kid good work gotta try to win you don't want to live this is living dangerously you want you don't want to give up too many of these let's win it let's win it and clear it and go from there they put the ball right that's thing the third time they put it right on that back post that's a danger ball it's another good one punched out again another good job good job we're off Bella white down the line go let's go get rid of it beat her at okay I've seen enough in the Spartans end for a while I would like some
possession in Midfield and going down to the Lancer end of the field it's three two more before we get the ball into the middle of the field that's a hand ball oh dangerous place to give it up oh again I don't know how many set pieces you can give up it's just the well is only so deep they play it short watch back on the 18 looks to go back and serve it across exactly as mentioned Jill Stevens now let's get up and out okay with just over 30 minutes remaining the Spartans look to regroup move out of their own defensive end and try to mount an offensive surge against the visiting Lancers that's one it's G be three more before it actually gets into play every time you might well you might be right
Jeff good step by petto there is that who that is gold can't tell I it's Ari step on that ball there can't let her get a clean look can't let her distribute this is problematic too many chances too many chances no that was MIA another Corner this is not the kind of Groundhog Day that I enjoy better off down at the other I yes if we're if we're going to have an homage to Bill Murray I would rather do it at the other end of the field low ball served in somehow came out with it I'm not sure what happened good hand she got it from her mother yes every along with all of her other good qualities and attributes good unfortunate there that's all right win it back nice step by Amma yep good
good yep get back TOA let's go out way yep good there you go One Touch in finish [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it if Addie had had a half a step I think on that she could have popped it up and over her but that was a good Counterattack out of the back good work that's what we need to see more of putting more of that pressure on that that back line and that goalkeeper and make make them make those plays for long meow you have Ari Goldman Billy dun or in for Addy Jordan and Emma Sosa Susa Susa good another throw in Kylie Marino is out Bella white Bella's in E did Eve Butler go back on was she on earlier Eve oh maybe Eve went in yeah Eve and in they moved Bella back to
uh okay we've reset the a lot of moving Parts on this throw in looks to go up and over who's there let it run another East Long meow throwing let's try to apply some pressure here make this hurt ball goes nicely to Bella white one more across yep that change change that point of attack there you go Kenna player player crash all right that's all right that's good that's good change that point of attack change up that point of attack that's what you're looking for talk about it kind of an awkward yeah look like a little they're calling that earlier on like body but lto could use a couple of more people back in numbers G to get that recovery now ball goes through an across o o well [Music] done anytime ball bounces in
the uh 18 you don't like that happening nope Kye Marino back in Addie Jordan back in Mack whitler Eve and Sabina mcky get a break Kylie looks to throw the ball back in for the restart gets the ball in Ari Goldman plays it back to her Runs Out of Bounds Spartans look to make sure things are buttoned up here in the back Marino wins it plays it up to Susa who looks for the header off of Long Meadow let's go ladies let's turn and go here see what we can turn and get going moving forward o possibility for white nicely done plays the ball up to Jordan make her play it back make her play it back exactly put the pressure on lock it in don't let him out of the box very good once
you've got him in there do not let him out of that box put him in a box and do not let them out done plays the ball back the ball goes nicely into the middle yeah that's the place you want it that's the place you want it those balls misplayed by the backs out of the air good let's change the point of attack again push it through nicely one here change of momentum for Long Meadow wait for numbers hold that run good work by Jill Stevens y Jill did a great job containing her all right have a feeling this is going to be the next 25 minutes this is going to be a real chippy game going going forward uh the referee has a similar feeling has told both teams let's try to play Within
the laws of the game Jill Stevens looks to distribute here plays a nice ball up and over one by long meow Ari Goldman there on the second touch move y goes through to Susa oh almost thought she could touch it by her there it's nice ball out of the back is that is that Manning yeah R Manning with a super ball out of the back Stevens in a foot race to the back plays it out looks to regroup for the throw in there long medal plays it in on the throw Susa comes back checks back nicely to win the ball on looks to distribute down the line changes the field there well done Jordan gives Chase one M touch maker play it back Jordan comes oh keep her off our line there's a lot of
indecision in that back be wonderful if we could make them pay for it ball goes all the way to the other side of the field where it runs long just over 24 minutes remaining still no score here in this matchup of cross town Rivals slow meow and Long Meadow being a mne in for Mia petto and Ma whw and for Lily done I think that ball was played after the whistle these officials have done a good job in today they've been I would agree they've done a nice job it's a nice throw in long met winning a lot of those balls right now though not a great sign get out wide switch the field spread it out Kylie cuts it back looks to the other side gives it to more goes to mne mne goes
back to Roman Roman looks again this is better possession yeah make them chase us around let them make a mistake and cut back by Kylie Marino get out of her way good Bella white this is good operation here one more through one more through and I have it yep get down get down oh but that's I mean that must have been what 10 12 passes that was lovely lovely lovely lovely get the ball they're making some good runs after they make you know that's one of the things I like what they're doing they're getting the ball and they're not just standing still they're making a nice little run taking a Defender with them creating some passing lanes for us to move forward simple right correct ball goes back Jill looks to play it all the
way back to Emerson has an attacker coming needs to play it out to Kylie Marino she does good ball good ball down the line corner yep or you could send Ari Goldman going all the way through go on that touch hand ball finisher finisher oh she got held m were held in the middle of the field with no call held with both hands it's a tough call to Miss at the 18 see you're getting that long metal feeling thing [Music] huh irrespective of the opponent that was a foul either as was that but it is a little bit of add intention yes it does get a little bit once again it's not the girl's fault that they were born into La Meadow I blame their parents East lombo with a dead ball restart from just
inside of Midfield Jill Stevens will look to serve it in or maybe Kylie Marina will look to serve it in Kylie having a great game back this do this does two things it gives Kylie the chance to and it gives Jill another one of our taller players who's been really good out of the air a chance to win that ball it's a hand ball no such call Jill Ste Works to recover all the way back she does on that first touch see there you go good job Addie good win nice turn down the [Music] line Addie coming up hobbling after that one too ball goes through Emerson off for line got to play it out good work girls but back to Kylie Marino today she's doing a really good job in the back a lot
a lot of our offensive uh opportunities have happened with her in the ball in the back field bringing the ball up and then terrific distribution pass getting the ball to the midfielders who are Distributing oh that's a tough place to give up a corner okay unlucky gotta regroup and defend the corner here look perhaps to counter quickly after a win of this ball on the count on the Corner short played through and out good work by Ma whitler y offensive players coming all the way back to defend nicely done well has a couple of real threats that ball going Manning the step and all they you know they're they're good on the corners finish Emerson comes out bounces around oh jeez just wide wow now the other corner I cannot take any more Corner [Music]
kicks oh wait all right the news from the box must have made it down there very good announcer is unable to take another corner kick at this point or so we'll go with the goal kick okay let's let's let's get one here and make some breathing room and 19 minutes to go no score Anna Martin in for Bella white and Gabby D scy in for Ari Goldman Ken Marino looks for the throwin Kylie oh it is Kylie on this side sorry my fault ball is back in M whitler gives Chase good work by Kylie yeah gives it to mcky who looks to get out of trouble and she does gets it back to uh Gabby [Music] disi red throw some unrest in the crowd begins about some of the style of play good now it's
got a switch Addie a super fast player yes that's good make them give Chase in the back make them play the ball back far side of the field the long bow throw big throw from Kenna for that one nicely done one there by ISO in control Jordan while coming across gives the ball back to Kye give chance to operate nice distribution to ma Whit Mac looks to turn sends her Corner maybe no gab run for one more you got emo Kylie looks got get that ball M off your line good job play it out good Ball by [Music] Emerson good touch yep there we go let's win it here good job Sabina holds up two offensive players excellent com comes out with it Well Done by mcky to win that ball send Jordan through there
you go drive one more finish it yes There He Go by great a terrific finish great job with Gabby and I'm not just saying this because I'm up in the booth with you Saina held off two long or two uh two Long Meadow attackers to win that ball and play it through that goal started Midfield she did hit the weight bench did we have the uh I should have looked I don't [Music] know the officials to turn around no Kim's coming up so thank you 17 minutes remaining Emma suu with the goal well done 10 from seven and it looks like we'll get a timeout uh perhaps call by Long Meadow to regroup well done a great finish there well done well done seven I don't go ahead I think I don't know scor by
number 10 Emma Susa [Music] 17 flat BR he say 17 flat yeah 17 10 seconds from uh 10 17 1 I guess is what he wants I think he said 17 and then goal from 10 okay that was oh that was the 10 that was the 10 that's where the 10 was from yes okay now this is a place as happy as you are with the goal you want to make sure that you dig in and double down here always most vulnerable right after you score you want to make sure there's no let down everything gets amped up everything gets cranked up put a second one in I think good things happen when we get the ball to our midfielders and our midfielders are sliding the ball through making those nice passes that's how it's
supposed to look yeah doing a great job at time been doing a great job first 15 minutes of the game was real shaky and now they've once they start possessing the ball it's really good once I think a lot of it starting from Kylie Marino back here she really has she really has had a good game's had a very good game back the whole back has had a good a good game but they're not she doesn't being a Freshman she doesn't panic when these you know older girls are putting the pressure on her very disciplined very poised she's gonna have a good uh three years three more years of her and Lily Dunn another two more years from Ari Goldman good work som's future is going to look [Music] good and as good as the
future looks all eyes on the present right now as we look to have a one- nothing goal one- nothing Score East l in the lead thanks to Em's goal 17 minutes remaining this is where you look to get one more goal and lock this down ball goes deep to Ken Marina who tries to Shield it out and she will and it's a goal kick [Music] is this our first goal kick of the quarter half I think it is I think we've had don't we've had 10 10 Corner kicks and uh one goal kick we'll have to have our stat guy I think we had one other because that was the one where I said I was goingon to die if it was a corner kick or something this might be our second but balls up
in the air stefanno wins it with a shoulder ball out of the air turns the corner not quite is not able to turn the corner without the ball running wide N Low in no hurry at this point looks to get a good throw in and get the ball back in fine to play a little bit slower a little bit more methodical but you don't want to get complacent that's all you want to make sure you continue to apply pressure and make that that's a ball where I think we need to press on that make those Backs play it because that's it second goal would be a be a Difference Maker here slow meow tracks back shut down the passing Lanes see on that they have good touch Good Touch by the girl yep good step
by Mack keeps it in still in Susa wins it plays it back in very well done Gabby skoli looks to press applies pressure Susa wins it balls there goes to Anna Roman nicely won outside by is that Anna Martin y it's Anna Martin Ball's played through the middle hell there and now it'll go in oh o other way I thought it's all right dropping Mark dropping Mark dropping Mark Ball's back in quickly for Long Meadow they look to use some Advantage there to send a through Runner here try to see if they've got her and the ball is Mis or sorry it's dispossessed there one by witler who is able to get another foot on it and Susa sends it out see this is I think a good ball for us to play pressure on
is not sure she doesn't know if she wants to Comm in or go out good work yep and she's pushed out of that's a little bit of a push I get the shielding but when you go shoulder toosh shoulder and can Shield but you can't push good pressure from Jordan and you could see the the long metal goalkeeper do I stay do I go and I'm sure she's a terrific athlete I think she's an inexperienced goalkeeper and just isn't sure about those nuanced plays about how to play those so you need to try to exploit that and play lock this in nice stop does a nice job oh we want it though we want it they did a nice job coming out of the back Ball's played long comes out waits for it to come
all the way back and she's gonna hold it for this she'll not pick it up anytime soon but she better now so her father doesn't get any kind of heart attack okay very good well done pun played yep right through those right through it Gabby yep make her play it well done there we go good so Subs we have Mia petto Bella white Ari Goldman Lily Dunn for on it looks like uh coming off Anna Martin ma whitward Gabby and Addie this will be a red throw in here good pressure from petto long B throwing ball was out [Music] [Applause] High foot look like it might have been nice again surefooted and reliable Jill Stevens plays the ball out of trouble 13 minutes remaining East m one long me zero well done got to win
that ball that's off of Long Meadow that's our throw very good well done nicely played [Music] just under 13 minutes left in the game this could be dangerous nice step by Jill Jill's just playing a super game in the back Roman and white with the chance there to Stephano with a dangerous ball serves it through good job by Mia to knock it out by Mia let's regroup win it and go back down at their end oops balls played toward the middle one there clear out by Bella white white y cleared out gives us a little Breathing Room Long Meadow looks to throw it back in quickly they do Manning tries to win it trip petto trip there ball coming out Stevens looks to make sure the ball is exactly where the referee let would like
it surveys the field looks at what she has nice up and over ball very good fought for by petto ball goes through controlled there by Bella white nice ball to through it yep in the air let's get the ball back on the ground sua good goes through it Well Done plays through it well done good work by Amma yep right back over the top make those Backs play it again good distribution coming this way Roman looks to go back plays back there back to mck Good Work by B that was held my breath a little on that ball send it back in getting caught a little bit too high yep possess and then try to play those balls a little bit deeper that's all [Music] Lily Dunn and Ari Goldman off and McKenna witler and
Addie Jordan back in misplayed by Long Meadow it goes back they wi it out of the back afterwards Bella white plays the ball back in Well Done play those Defenders play it pressure that first touch that's a bad one oops go through good almost has a chance to disrupt the action she does good work by Mia padow way to recover good motor you can always count on that out of petto 110 miles an hour all the time hold for the Long Meadow substitution that looked like an illegal thr good work by Mia y tripped and our goes our way good work by Mia no need to rush this no need to rush this no need Rush this set it up no need to rush it over have a settle have one Mac there you go
get out Corner a throw in throw let's just no need to be in any hurry just just under nine minutes remaining in a one- nothing game East Long B leading throw by kenno whw yep readjust their for or something thereabouts readjust their formation sorry I stepped on your no comment there Emma with a head Emma's doing a good job today white nice slide take well done nice step by white textbook slide tackle take beautiful that same exact Play Almost Is that's how we won the game the first first time against umbella coming back defensively made a stop turn around trapped it kicked the ball up to Addie Jordan we scored make her play it back make her play it back yep that's where you want the pressure on them make them very disorganized in the
back that's where you want them to have to play it oops runs long and Ken there plays the ball out chance to regroup reset things and see what's what it's a high foot well done nice turn by clear it clear it clear it clear it and of course a corner because what else would it [Music] be athletic director McGee may need to look at redoing the turf in these Corner areas they've gotten so much use this end of the field tonight this got to be like the 12th corner kick this half on side it's unbelievable I think they're more dangerous on this side too I agree seven minutes remaining as longm looks to serve the corner win it Win It win it Win It win it good ball ni same thing good play by Emerson
yep pop up pop up she won the ball pop right up pop right up that's twice Emerson's came out great great job punching the ball out good work what a great save by Emerson coming out knocking out not only just knocking it out like a little bit she's she's clearing that ball it's she's knocking it 15 20 yards out great play oh nice Center yep a this is good two Runners one more one more ma push [Music] thought we were gonna have something there yeah you called for the push I called for the trip I think between the two of them one of them was there official did not see it again we're happy to provide V Services here from the booth but we have yet to have an official take us up on that
she got to stop the B stop the ball stop the ball foot on it the keep her out there stop the ball good work by P that's great good double team by Kylie and Mia working together on that one well oh Mia wins another ball and you could have called that for low so it's getting a little chippy as you as you predicted Jeff send her through make a run make a run where's the runners send her outside pressure her that first touch yeah and no hurry for the get the ball back in just about five minutes remaining heast long mow One Long Meadow zero and timeout called [Applause] this is how the last game came down to a last five minutes is back and forth action going both ways Furious action looks like we're
have another barn burner for for this one as well let's hope to keep the burning of that Barn down at this end of the field that would be good for us rather that as well these last five minutes this is where the strategy comes in you look to try to say possess the ball carries to the corners hold for as long as you can take your throw in see if you can burn 30 seconds here 30 seconds there you can do that four or five times shorten this game [Music] up I think that's also one of isa's benefits we coach Gary uses the entire bench throughout the game so our girls get a lot of lot of breaks out there whereas a lot of other teams they only go two three girls deep onto a
bench it's helped us out so far this year as far as you know how keeping those fresh legs out there certainly has see what we can do for the last five minutes of the game you know L medow is going to give everything that they have and this could open some things up this is one of those if they start to push a little bit more and they look to try to go forward this could give you a seam to try to exploit to try to put in to put in the putaway goal at two to nothing yeah we've already had what two or three breaks y okay the ball's in we hit the five minute Mark and go from there ball will come in for East L metto Emerson looks to get it she's
kindly enough to let the Long Meadow player get the ball it's the kind of hospitality we provide yeah that's that's it's a very after after after you of course ball served by Jill Stevens into Emma sua petto and Roman good talk on that one rather sorry take it to the corner corner yep there you go Emma who's there and tripped in the Box nothing wow an unfortunate place not to get that call and and another one no push there either there's Spartans down all over the field and no calling that was head to-head on that one come on call that the [Music] game hey see invariably this is the problem When Things become too physical there's the missing of one then you miss a makeup and then you get one like this and it that's
causes unrest if you call it tightly and you call it on both sides and you call those files especially in the last five minutes puts a lid on all the unrest it's up to officials to make sure they maintain control of the game this one here I don't know I don't get this one that that was shoulder shoulder to shoulder and Jill got the headball so how they end up with it that I don't that I don't know I mean it's harmless it's outside than the 35 but regardless Jill wins the headball in what you know Jee I think it's an example sometimes of I mean Jill is a strong player and got the better of that challenge and the other girl got knocked for a loop yeah I mean they went head on in
a completely legal Challenge and missusa back up gingerly walking to the sideline okay we look to defend here it's good to see the low girl got up that looked like it was Jill Jill's head into the other girl's back of her head okay the action is reset with four minutes and S seconds left for a one to nothing e SL met a lead goalkeeper has emerso has set her wall it's a long 10 yards isn't it yes it is ball is served long wide one byto win it again Win It Again Win It Again win it and clear it win it and clear it Shield that ball out and it's throw good work by Ken Marino just under four minutes to go in the game this is where you really want to start looking at
carrying that ball all the way to the corner flag seeing if you can get an offensive run trying to carry the ball all the way into the flag beautifully done by Jill step out again step on the ball step on the ballar okay and yep there'll be no rush to get this ball back in play [Music] Sabina mne plays it up and out one by long meow there looks to go back in oops nicely slotted Jill and Emerson have to get on the same page they do and that's a throw oh a corner no oh it's okay I I'm just I'm sorry I'm having nightmares that's all got to step in front o what a great great shot by Tia [Music] fago can't let her get a clean look beautifully struck okay well that's going
to make the last two minutes and 39 seconds awfully interesting Tia Vago number three I think [Music] you can see that one coming as she took a touch Dove at the ball got just enough space to see it [Applause] [Music] yeah wow fans yelling at the 16-year-old girls [Music] T I think it's tiao yeah the n g Co play it [Applause] [Music] through ball bounces at Midfield Kylie Marino how is there's no different from that Jill Stevens one last two minutes will be kept on the [Music] field emo with the ball Kylie Marino passes the ball back switches over to Jill Stevens Ray Manning with a head on it Ma whitler chasing through it looks to distribute back played forward is it still going to stay in will it run we've still got it Wht
were looked like she might have been fouled there yes this could be a run for Ken Marino somebody needs to cover her back yep somebody needs to drop and cover Kenna for that run B white was over there okay very good [Applause] [Music] got to stop the ball got to stop the ball got to stop the ball this is trouble that ball can go right through K of plays it out over to the side this ball will be played up and over Kenna on it wins the ball there and Roman looks to play it up looked like she might have been fouled after the play I've got less than a minute remaining of course my time is not official don't let her through Jill Stevens turns and wins another ball ball served back in no
service try to keep that service out there step on it Jill well done nicely played o stays in played in the Box don't give her space good job by Saina and Kylie Marino clear it and that's the game well would have like to have gotten away with a victory in it settle for the Spartans left to settled for the one-1 tie good game all around and on next game we got minich in mini so we'll be on the road we'll see you again next week take care everyone why
