001good evening and welcome everybody to the matchup tonight here in East Long Meadow of the boys varsity soccer team against Belchertown Orioles the Spartans versus the Orioles I'm Jeff morno I am here with my co-host tonight Jillian Stevens who's going to be my co-host and we have a no longer Don Mackey production congratulations to him on his retirement now taking over is it's now a Jamie Rook production and Jamie Rook on the camera tonight any high school kids who are looking for a part-time job reach out to Jamie Rook she's looking for some applicants to fill in to do some part-time film making also known as recording sports games for the eastl metto Spartans Jillian I haven't yet seen a game this year on behalf of the Spartans how have they been doing and your
002thoughts on the matchup tonight you know I'm really happy to be here Jeff thanks for having me um you know the boys I think they're off to a good season right they won their first home game this is mat M Whit got a Strong attacking I mean I think they yeah they got um Nolan Gara in goal he's we second year returning right on Varsity yep he came right right out of the woodwork had never played goalie before and he's been killing it I think yeah I remember him from last year just kind of came out and uh you know they needed a goalie they found a great athlete a good tall athletic guy stuck him in goal and he's actually been it's been remarkable to see you know he was an obviously a natural
003athlete but then to improve you know to become a real goalie to add the goalie skills along with the athleticism I think a lot of that has to go with his own work on and off the field but also you know the coaching that must be receiving from uh a highly experienced coaching team here Dave sarafino for the Spartans back into what seems like his eighth gazillionth season yeah has coached I think every boy that has come through BL so exactly so here we're off the Orioles have the ball they're bringing it up the right hand side they Boot It Go with the boot it down the field technique it's now controlled by the Spartans number 24 has it Jillian I'll probably rely a little bit on you if you happen to know the players
004you can kind of call out their names oh yeah I think I've got some of them that's great looks like the Orioles are kind of controlling the ball here in the middle of the field right now getting right in on the attack down the left wing it's like Joe Mogan over there on the left side containing the Belchertown Orioles good stop good defensive stop right there yeah kept his position well tried to clear it there but it kind of took it out of bounds we're going to get a throw in for the Orioles from they're going looks like they're going to bring some in from the defense probably likely to do a long throw it seems like probably to the middle right running from the track this one looks like it's going to be a
005long one oh yeah right in the Box I'm calling it here we go and nice header from paty DIC to get that out of the box looks like Tyler wrin coming back to get the ball Ryan koua with a breakway yeah got a lot of speed here in the middle it's coming down it's now three on over to Jack Walsh Walsh has it controls it back to him oh controlled a little touch there over to the side gets it still controlling it backs it up good play there still maintaining control sneaks its way through switching sides back to the defense back out to the wing number 24 has really good right here back to Jack Walsh right yes Walsh has it big left foot here coming to the center oh that will be a corner
006good play there but a kind of a weak kick there by Jack Walsh didn't get that left foot off the sure if he's a lefty righty but think we expect more nice quick low Corner oh almost an interesting header there off of the belter Town Oreo could have gone in kind of misdirected it you saw the goalie slide over to make the save and then it goes off of the Orioles head and over the goal that one easily could have snuck in I believe yes belr toown goalie is a super seven just announced that a couple days ago Jack Manville so I'm interested to see that match up tonight against the Spartans Tyler Wren up top and and Jack Walsh two fast kits yeah I remember from last year you had paty you know paty
007di scy kind of holds the holds down the fort in the back right oh yeah I think that's kind of paty's job he did a great job last year coming back with a yet another year of experience he's a a senior defenseman number four balls in this one's right out top there yeah I think so kind of a low one just get it in the middle Orioles are going to try to get a clear here and just this could be a dangerous counter coming down the sideline but Earl Earl wakiaga is there to get the ball good control another touchup and lost a little bit off the feet there oh good counter yes so we do we have some brothers on the field do we have a Jacks wrin yep excellent yeah I think Jackson
008is this his second and this is their sister actually the ball girl right here excellent cover I'm sure they have some family and friends in the stands for sure oh for sure big booming kick down the right hand left hand side control uh that's yeah that's gonna be covered gar is Gonna Come Out get the ball yeah quite easily controlled there by GSA he's got a big foot too if I remember correctly I mean he can he can send that thing a long way but instead they opt for a control game here Jackson oh loses that one Earl rushing back good coverage kicked out of bounds it's going to be another throwin for the belter toown Orioles yeah it seems like the Spartans are doing a good job keeping the ball hitting those small passes
009and keeping possession not many Big Balls over the top which I think I would expect with the speed up top but they're doing well keeping the ball in the middle just haven't finished it yet but we're only five minutes so yeah 35 minutes and 30 seconds remaining a big throw in right there this is a very dangerous for sure oh just missed on the cross that was yeah they're gonna have to be they're going to have to be very careful on that long throw in in the middle just getting it in the middle is really gotta watch the back post moving him back here Spartans have a big bench looking at that they have a lot of Subs wow yeah they also a long throw these kids can throw the ball yeah should get him
010to baseball good footwork here by Belchertown good steel oh batted around up in the air ball spinning all around East Low I think is going to start to try to control it kind of a little bit of a back to Nolan gara and then kind of a little bit off the top of his foot oh that could have been a high foot yeah that could have been a dangerous play him his head yeah that's uh not sure there who was going to go get that one but I thought it was a good pass by good pass by Jackson it looked like number nine on that one probably needed to go and get it Jack Walsh Jack Walsh yeah yeah dangerous play there [Music] I can't see number 10 is that Ryan kulia is that his
011yeah Ryan koua Ryan Jackson rchen over there number 24 yeah some new faces from when Ryan and Patrick were playing back in the day yeah so we got you know I I'm just not going to really have a lot of experience with the ninth and 10th graders because I you I haven't really SE I haven't seen them play yet but clearly you know they've got it clearly good players and this is kind of the nice little flick by Earl back to paty P down the sidelines good ball nice giving go here ah just a little too much but he gets it back good control back Keegan dunan out to Joe Mogan on the outside takes it middle one more one more unlucky yeah that one really just probably need but he wins it back yeah
012he did win it back good fight for him but that first one there I think the coaches will tell him he's got to swing that one over to Earl right just kind of swinging it around and twoes yeah just tried to rush it can't take too many just tried to rush the offense there big ball over the top but that's gonna roll out wide open on this throw oh just a little bit too much of a touch right there right idea but a little bit too hard off of his foot there for Jack Walsh big throw over the top Earl just kind of Scoops it little backwards header another crash and burn little physical play love to see it some good containing right there by Phillip shck Here Comes py good touch got it keep
013oh nice turn by Jack W and he speeds down the left sideline oh one more still staying in oh still in that's great hustle right there by Jack Walsh might be yeah but then he just gave it away and he had uh yeah someone's got to support him back he did he had he had number 24 there he had Jackson wrin Jackson Wren they called him little wrin right because you get the big WR the little WR so little if I don't get him as Jack but he had him there but he just you know he just needed to get rid of it I think a little bit quicker here we go now little break here for the or got it covered nice strike yeah kind of a weak attempt right there that might be
014a corner I thought it deflected off a red jersey but maybe not gonna get our first Subs of the game number six and number eight are coming in I think that's uh cin D again am I right about that oh yeah Keegan dunigan's a little brother got more Brothers more brothers and Dave Monroe coming into the game I love to see Dave Monroe big kick here by paty it's a good ball right to half field goes see if we can win it no nobody puts their head on it n it actually bounces first which is great you don't want that bounce it's actually unacceptable for that ball to bounce oh slide oh that's going to be I think yeah I think that was off white good I call I don't know what you call it
015I call it back checking right so I don't know I call it backchecking I don't know what you call it in soccer but that shielding maybe yeah just really good job to you know keep with his keep with his person the entire way down the field oh yeah coming back following him walking up but I mean there we you know at least there they got a head on it it's good oh Earl got it come this way come this way one more little I don't know who that is I think Joe Mogan on the right sideline he would have been wide open there yeah just a little just a little rush there in the middle of the field but it goes out of bounds and we're going to get a I mean another sub only
016about 10 minutes in I think people are still getting those Jitters out you can see it's kind of panicked nowhere no one's really settled into the game yet so yeah and number five comes in the field will Fox very very distinguishable for sure yeah on that left side he's got that bright red ER really good athlete I'm not going to lie I didn't know he played soccer oh yeah he's very he's very fast down the side lines here he is let's see comes on the left hand side unlu away from him yeah a little too heavy there's a good one there another one here we go Jack Walsh is going here comes will almost caught up to it he's GNA grab it nobody open he's going to leave it good play Jack Gretchen to throw
017it in will Fox going down the sidelines looking for somebody he's got it just a little bit off kind of a kind of a little bit of a high throw kind of got it kind of a weird spot yeah you want to get between the thigh and the knee yeah you kind of want to get it right on the feet yeah either like the feet or the head to flick it over that one goes left footed out of bounds that's going to be a orial throwin so far I think a pretty evenly matched game for the most part for sure I'd say it's about 5050 with possession 28 minutes and 30 seconds remaining in the first half throw in right there kind of flicks it over can't oh they did keep that one in bounds
018I'm a little surprised by that I think that one probably was going to go out of bounds if yeah that was some good ball control by number 14 on belr toown let's see um Jacob glad here we go nice touch jackon to pressure that ball he's there nobody home good play just sends it out oh oh good touch yeah now it's got yeah it's got to kind of come this way though it's a little crowded over there right now yeah I think the Spartans are having a tough time getting from side to side it seems to either be stuck around half field on the right or left not really connecting through the middle much it's good ball down line Jack Walsh on his horse right now yeah Walsh is fast oh that's a good ball
019oh I like that play right there cor yeah dangerous corner here yeah I like that by Walsh he really used his speed and his strength and his ability to get that thing down there then kind of hit a reset hit a really nice cross across and then it was going to be a onetime attempt right there right off of the volley and it would have been a blistering shot something very difficult for the belard town goalie to save uh but it goes off of got a calf on it I believe orial and here we go we're gonna get another chance here oh God Lefty no not nice Lefty there was nothing on that at all needed to get up in the air hello Good Golly Miss Molly oh ah that's a tough call there I
020don't know but we'll take it for the Spartans I guess oh and then he does that he's going to get himself a little yellow card you can't rall right here yeah here we go who so this is an indirect kick for those of you is it a direct or indirect not sure it looks like they're setting up for a direct kick and we're gonna have number 16 right outside the 18 that's a tough spot who we got number 16 I believe Shay McCarthy all right Shay M uh yeah sha McCarthy Captain senior Captain senior Captain sha McCarthy gonna take the direct kick right outside 18 so it's about 20 yards away he's probably to try to curl one into the top right corner tough on super seven goal here Fox oh my God will Fox
021right in front of the goal had a wide open one there a really good low rider there by McCarthy and it looked like it just went a little bit off the side of his foot for will Fox and it goes out of bounds and we're going to get a corner kick so it looked to me like he had it and it was going to go in and somebody from the beler town team must have stuck their foot out because corner kick but we love to see him having someone there to follow that shot because the worst thing ever is when there's a goalie flexion no one there to tap it in Great play by Will Fox to follow that you know as as as Mr Stevens would always say Follow the Ball theall screaming it
022in follow the ball head Fox was there to actually follow the ball in and that's a great that's a great play that's good hustle coaches want to see that tough battle here at Midfield Ryan koua oh takes to the gut will Fox again hustling with that recovery low ball of fire yep he's on it right now he's heading down the sideline send him send him let him cook oh just a little bit of a unlucky but is yeah I know just a little bit of a just a Mis Touch by not much though he's got a good Touch Too Ryan Kola oh I don't like that oh lot of back and forth here yeah just hold on to the ball settle that thing down here on the got some time outside yeah just sheld hang
023on oh good slide from Shan McCarthy slow down the belr town counter some more Subs coming in for btown looks like number 19 will come out 15 and 10 possibly yeah we got some subs going getting some fresh legs offside May yeah could be I believe so it's a good line from the Spartan Defense y good good play holding their own so so far we've got you know what do we have 40 minutes half Jillian we do yes so we're cing up on h a quarter of socer nice lofted ball from paty di scy Spartans have to win these free kicks though that one's going to get kicked out of bounds gonna have a Spartan throw yeah 50-50s are definitely leaning more towards beler town Spartan's got to learn to get a head on it
024or something that's a w when nice ball across from Tyler R oh unluck here we go well ah got to use your left yeah I think he's a lefty isn't he yeah it was a tough tough one to settle down tough bounce for sure oh probably needed to get that one out of bounds and he does there right there was mad you could tell he was mad at himself for not getting the first one out of bounds and made sure to get that second one out it's good you want a nice composed Center back nothing too crazy it's about to be a long throw I'm assuming yeah it's going to be another those ones in the middle it just kind of makes its way around and see what happens they throw it over kind of
025to the corner a little bit you got to be they're lost oh that's gonna be a corner kick I think right yeah opportunity here for the belr toown Orioles first corner kick of the G oh no yeah they're calling it a corner kick yeah yeah quite a few Corners so far this game like three for the Spartans I think this is Bel Town's first 18 minutes in eam Meadows pretty spread out here will Fox challenging the ball making sure they don't get the free pass although this guy's wide oh oh there goes Earls gonna cover that slides in and I'm gonna get another Corner kind of thing I'd want to see just a head straight out of the box yeah this is kind of interesting right you see the Orioles here on the corner kicks
026they're really spread out sometimes you see a strategy where it just kind of buches everybody up but here really spread out maybe Hing for some confusion no there that was a pass to somebody at the 18 and that could very lucky I mean it certainly could have got off a little better shot than that big boot from Nolan Gara super high I would not head that that's got to hurt but you gotta do what you gotta do oh charges in they've got it number one-on-one on the outside here cross right to noan Gara save probably another big boot coming our way let's see if red can get a foot on this one oh and they can't yeah they're kind of keeping their shape here on defense not really pressing out too you can hear coach
027sarafino kind of yelling out yeah he wants he he wants he doesn't want not any chances yeah not and on and on the goal kicks I mean on the the punts from the goalie he yelling at his players to be first to the ball they're getting they're getting beat to the ball you 100% yeah I mean if you look at it the the goal kicks the corner kicks the free kicks it seems that it's finding the head of a belard town player to control the ball yes uh before it's getting to even these throws here y just like this year right I mean how that this is what he's talking about just 50-50s can really change a game nice touch there little crowded smart play it back like to see that field switch here instead
028of getting all crowded at the 50 nice ball from noan Gara down to Jack but again you know I mean we did come up with it here at the end I think but maybe that's that might be a push in the back oh and then to kick the ball away on top of it I mean that's a potential that's not good maybe no yeah it's getting chippy out there little bit I've seen there's always a little rivalry I've seen I've seen more physical games than this for sure yeah this one's not too badame at Westfield today got real out of hand how'd the girls do today we tied two two oh ah good strike from Jackson Wren but deflected by a belr toown Defender nice ball outside oh I like the boys sending their outside
029backs up to act as kind of Wingers especially if belch toown Lindy has one player back there they don't all need to be standing back there might as well get involved in the offense right here with Earl oh unlucky that is not a good pass yeah oh this could be bad this is bad slowed down by Keegan dunan that's a good play from him slow down that Counterattack little sloppy ball handling back there on the defense but they were able to prevent it from being a real true scoring opportunity thankfully nope it hits the ground first also they gotta track it better yeah Nolan's punts go high though yeah but I mean we've gota we've got to do East medals got to do a better job like getting to the they should be able to
030anticipate it by now you've played with a goalie for oh good win here ah no one there they calling the wrong guy that's number 10's got to go over there and C that's there is yeah that was number 10's kind of responsibility but he comes back and gets it touch it's good hand ball definitely hand ball it's going to give you a Bel Town free kick those are the worst you didn't mean to but arms just in the wrong place the wrong time Spartans better watch that back post looked like belr Town's got a couple of players ready to run in over there yep right to the back post it's a nice lofted ball see what's the call arm fighting yeah lot of free kicks settled in the middle swings it back over here to
031the right hand side right back taking it up just does kind of a boot down the sidelines that's going to go out of bounds as it be a goal kick nope it's GNA be a throwin oh wow kind of had a little bit Corner yeah had a little bit of a side spin on it Jillian and it stayed can't see around here yeah stayed in bounds nice little flick but unlucky got to win those oh belter Town player is down hit in the head I think or else the Ah that's soft gonna get a penalty there got it looks like he got up under his chin yeah I don't know about that big shout out to the belur toown coach who believe is a teacher at the school in belard toown does a lot of
032things for the athletic department I've seen him on the other side uh on the tennis courts back in the day Jack siano Battle of head balls here great coach oh Philip catches one of the I yeah not great a little bit they're not East medals just doesn't they're playing def they're not in a good spot right here yeah but they got away it looks like they're going to get away with this one they're playing pretty defensive they got about eight or nine players behind the ball and then just the two Strikers up top waiting so not a lot of pressure just kind of keeping belr toown at the 30 and letting them go down the line which seems to be working so far I mean the defense is kept that zero but not really helping
033them on the offensive side good ball here from paty out of the back and and again it's beler Town's really getting first to the ball I'm sure coach sarapo is not happy about that no you got to get it doesn't even look like in most of them it's not even really contested there's not even an effort yeah I got to get in front of a white shirt good recovery down the side I think Joe Mogan and then Shay McCarthy maybe or Philip Philip shuek trying to win the ball GNA get another free kick here a lot of free kicks around the 2025 or this even the 15 that's kind of close oh Bel Town's gonna call a timeout I'm sure tried to drop a play with about 14 minutes left in the half 14 minutes
034left we're going to take a little break here on elcat and we will be back after the timeout we've got a z0 score with 14 minutes and 11 seconds to play e e all right so we have a nil-nil game 14 minutes left in um I don't know is this the second second boys home game third maybe second second against uh belter toown high school so let's see I'm sure belr toown coach Drew up a play at this timeout and kind of all for nothing nice little catch there from Nolan Gara I'd love to see this punt go to a red shirt oh I like it Play Short play out of the back keep the ball seeing as they can't win those punts right now see that seems to be more successful for the Spartans
035playing it out of the back not too much pressure from the beler toown strikers so it's really not an issue playing out of the back so far especially if they're not going to win those 50-50 balls so they've kept The Possession for like 30 seconds after that free kick pretty good oh that's a nice slide tackle really kept that in between his knees and that's going to roll out of bounds Jeff is back with us 13 minutes left in the half back in the booth just had to say hi to some of the uh old soccer girls and Lacrosse girls that I haven't seen in a while yeah it's a pretty Crowded House we've got you know stands are full I mean beler toown little bit of a cross town rival driven ball there not
036sure I'd say cross town maybe Cross County Cross County but it's always it's always a bit of a you know yeah is kind of Cross County pretty far it's not Long Meadow nope I love those two-minute bus rides down the street and that is tough just Earl needed to clear that pretty far outside trouble oh man he just needed a little bit of a lighter cross yeah he you know our turf is slick it's short it's beat up yeah but I mean that shot right there they had the numbers I mean he could have settled that ball and put a pass right on somebody's foot he could have open players could have taken a shot but he just jammed it right across the goal I mean it would have been very difficult for any player
037to make any type of play on that it would have just had have been a redirect type of goal weird bounce too Jackson Wren working with Philip shuek to win the ball back Pat's gonna play that out of bounds smart play there get out of the middle you can deal with the throw in yeah we're going to get a Subs here for the for beler town is there a favorite in this game Jillian do you know um honestly I have no idea tell you that's not good nope yeah I mean yeah personally I'd say you s meow but I I don't know the stats for boy soccer this year oh oh good turn if you yeah we're going to see what happens here be a red ball that's awesome oh that stinks let's see nice
038ball out the back made sure to stop the ball before he played it smart smart play there and Earl what's Earl gonna do here ball to the middle ah that could have been a nice little one too but belon kind of plays around with it on their own 40 oh maybe a little hip check shoulder check not an overly physical game I'd say it's getting physical now though he just got an elbow to the Head little CH and the refs are letting him play like to see that get a oh what's that belr Town's 0 and2 so you would think that depending on obviously who belr toown played it's early in the season you'd have to think that lamea I mean Isa would have to be the favorite in this game I would assume but
039Bel toown does have very good goalie I've heard but we haven't really tested him not many powerful shots just some that rolled right to him definitely getting chippy in the Midfield it's gonna go back to Nolan Gara pick that ball up yep there you go Earl's got plenty of time and space down send that right up there L one two that's nice another L one two oh just take it yeah that's going to be white ball I agree with that call it went off of it hit a white uh Orel then into the Jack rchen and out I think this might be a game where it's really going to come down to who wants it more who's going to grind more I don't I don't really see any beautiful goals coming I think it's going
040to be something kind of ugly but gets the job done unless they Shock Me Out of Nowhere got nine minutes remaining here in the first half have not seen very much offense at all very little on either side yeah on either side really difficult some crosses but nothing substantial a little no ball control really by either team to be honest with you it just seems like at some point eow's been keeping the ball they just haven't really gone anywhere with it they've been playing around the back pretty well but just not oh that might be offside but noan garka is there yeah good pass a right winger here got tripped up a little bit he was open hece throw there keep possession oh heavy touch but he's goingon to stick with it Joe Mogan there
041forcing a bad pass back be a red throwing as senior Captain Tyler wret and Subs into the game for Jack Walsh and then couple Bel toown [Applause] Subs see a lot of el soccer alumni parents up in the stands tonight they miss it I guess yeah some with parents over here oh this could be danger ah no one there unlucky strikes ball's still gonna stay in love to see red get this back into the box nice Tackle by Jackson wrin uh not a great touch but they'll work to get it back fast counter from Bel toown could be dangerous but I think East Long meow has numbers here uh I don't think so oh definitely lucky yeah only about five beler Town players against like oh six six seven yeah it just looked like Islam
042meow got kind of ugly they just got disappointed at the last one they had an opportunity down there and they never really got a shot on goal and then they sat back they didn't come back hard to get back yep they didn't come back too late oh might be a Punch To The Head and he's up and they're ready to play Earl is headed down the sidelines honestly I might give him the ball but they're going to play it in they've got well paty's got a big foot so this is their normal play as to paty's got such a big foot and he gets the ball high in the air so they're just going to send that in there and try to get it on somebody's head yeah that only works if they get a
043head on it and they do first time sham mcarthy is getting beat up it seems holds on to that we're going to get a big throw I don't know if East Meadow has somebody that can make that long throw and no more Dante Bates who could throw the ball about 30 yards but they got a solid 15 East meow getting a corner kick here with six minutes remaining in the first quarter still z0 is the score think they're going to send Jack Walsh not really seen a whole lot of offense here from either team but they are bringing Jack walin back off the bench for this particular purpose here on the corner kick they were trying to rest him get him a little bit of rest here before the second half as he does a
044lot of sprinting uh you know from the 50 yard line on down whenever they get on offense but they're bringing it back in here because it's a real goal scoring opportunity and Jack is a goal scorer so let's see what they do here and this one another really bad corner kick really bad never got the ball Bel player slips could could benefit the Spartans you got to keep the ball Jackson wretching in good place at a good time ears facing some pressure turn that ball good little through Pass from Phillip Joe mogan's gonna recover play it back to Keegan dunan and it's just getting back to a white foot y just getting booted around all over the place there's no no control right now from any team little panicked for sure that's some good defense
045from Earl on the right side line goes out of bounds again wide open there in the middle Subs coming in nice control kind of it was a nice pass back first touch wasn't great but it happens well it's four minutes to go it is looking like it might end up a scoreless first half here love to see East Long Meadow goal to finish the half but not sure with the way the first half has been going that that is in our future but who knows Spartans do have the ball little crowded over there on that right side five players within like 10 yards and that could have been dangerous but it is going to roll out of bounds yeah there's not a lot lot of control of the soccer ball no it seems like they're
046moving it you know between the 20s both sides a little bit but it's not control final third is not coming to be what either team wants right now no interested to see what happens at halftime if we have any formation changes moving players around trying to find that goal for either team really yeah this is looking like it's going to be a one-goal game at this point there's just not there just hasn't been enough opportunities here no in this half definitely not pretty soccer more just kind of grinding mucking it up I mean just like that there I mean it just got kind of kicked up and then it's like okay are nice turn there from Jack Walsh that's a good touch right there I was gonna say he's got fire good tackle from Bel
047Town's number four I really like that play there by Jack not sure how to say his last name Gavin B lot of counterattacks but again they don't really lead to much a lot of players down Sidelines little chippy over there nice head to get it out from oh Earl and paty's gonna clear that parents are getting kind of heated in the stands complaining about shirt pulling it's on honestly just part of the game at some to some extent oh oh ouch refs do need to get some control over the game they're doing good with the calls I'd say though letting them play but calling anything too [Music] serious nice ball over the top and little flick from Tyler Wren but no one there to follow it goalie falls on it little over a minute remaining
048each side maybe he's probably gonna get one more chance of some sort this one gets kind of swung out to the right back playing up the right hand side over to the wing Earl covering kicks it out of bounds good defense there you saw it on the left side Earl he saw this coming it's over sore it's over the top oh oh that's going to be that's not the ball no I really want to see both goalies tested I think it's a pretty good goalie matchup from what I've heard about belton's goalie and what I've seen from n Gara but neither of them have been tested at all really with any High Shots Out wide shots so I'd love to see that in the second half make it interesting good pressure here in the Midfield
049from Spartans trying to win the ball back with 20 seconds left in the half that one just makes its way out of bounds they're trying to get one last kind of go here it just gets bombed up oh good touch from Jack Walsh that's good ball control that was a high could have been a bouncing and again see not bad now seven seconds left so we it's gonna end the first half z z Jillian thanks for taking care of the first half as an announcer we're going to have a different guest announcer in the second half and we will see you in about 5 to 10 thank you for having me e e e all right ladies and gentlemen elcat fans from all across western Mass here back in East Long Meadow for the start
050of the second half Spartans of East LA Meadow versus the Orioles of Bel toown with me in the booth for the second half is former East Long Meadow Spartan star and super seven goal scorer currently playing for the College of assumption in wiester Joe prel welcome to the booth thank you thank you thank you happy to have you here Joe checking out your uh former team nice of you to come back and see your Old Coach sarafino some of your old friends and players that you've played with and so what were your thoughts having watched the first half Joe you know um I think it wasn't bad I think we got to just settle down on the ball and we got to play to feat more it's a lot of kick and run yeah Joe
051that's what uh you know that's sort of what I was saying in the beginning is that the ball's kind of moving not really efficiently but it's moving between the 20s and the 30s from side to side but there's no action whatsoever from inside about the 25 yard line we've yet to see maybe one I would call half decent shot but we haven't seen any offense yeah there hasn't been a lot of uh quality shots on goal yet but but I think I think we'll see a lot coming both teams looking for this win Tai's not ideal here no I mean I I think that we were talking earlier I think the Spartans are favored to win this game I'm not sure the Orioles are 0 and2 I think the Spartans are 1 and0 I'm not
052really sure you know which team you would say is the favorite or maybe it's an even matchup I I'd say definitely Spartans are have a little bit of the edge here they just beat they beat a big team minog and they just recently lost to West Springfield but I know W Springfield's a Powerhouse this year yeah that's great and you know we've got as I said before it's a really well coached team for East laow they certainly have some new players but they also have a lot of returning players I mean paty in the back's got a lot of experience back there yeah and he's just a stalwart back there so you know on the defensive side of the ball they're strong and on the offensive side I think they're trying to find their Rhythm
053a little bit Yeah they definitely are uh a lot of the K this team's really young still mostly Juniors and sophomores there's only I think three or four seniors team this year a very young team yep yep so a lot you know a lot of work lot to work with a lot of talent I'm seeing you know some new faces a couple of you know older brother younger brother combinations which is which is always nice to see um but it's just like plays like that right I mean that's got to be it's a that's basically a turnover on a throwin but good hustle back there and now the Orioles are going to get a throwin down here and they seem to bring a guy from the back to do the super long throw to the
054middle which so far has really been the only offense the Orioles have created yeah it's a really good uh really good Strat here when there's not a lot of offense to big throw try to get a little lucky bounce in and then uh shot on goal and here it comes the big throw to the middle off the head of the orial off ahead of an oral and then boot it out go Tyler Rin it's covered here and a little bit of a bad touch but he kind of snuck it across there and it just gets booted up on the ball Walsh has it dancing with it and maybe be a tough pass there but see if they could settle down on the ball and connect a couple passes yeah this is what we were talking
055about right there just no connectivity it seems like it's just like a Weeble wobble ball Bing Bang Boom Boom Boom until ping pong ball right yeah until it's settles down and then something happens but you never know where it's going to settle down there's not a lot of ball possession and control in the middle of the field yeah it's a lot of kick and run right now ball is just bouncing everywhere need them to just settle down here hold teams and I would like to you know I would like to see it get you know get up uh up front and get on the here we go big chance here good defense by Earl scooped up by goalie sends it out M Hogan oh kicked out of bounds by an orial what stays in interesting
056play passed back sends it over boot it up and right to the foot of an orial again you see it's just no control Walsh on the ball Walsh has it you know I think Walsh is I think Walsh seems to be clearly their their most offensive player yeah he's their big weapon I think that a lot of the team just looks for him to get the ball up to him and let him do what he likes to do up there he's very good big chance here with molan oh no no there's no tripping there that way he went through the leg and just kind of fell over yeah oh see and you saw right there sarapo he's screaming at number 20 I don't know who number 20 is uh I'm trying to look at the
057do give a little coaching moment here to number 20 that's Keegan dunan I mean the ball was all the way up yeah and coach sarapo was screaming not screaming but you know really trying to wave dunigan up to keep the ball on the offensive end and dunan was just kind of back too far and that let the Orioles I think Escape that that little mini attack by the Spartans oh yeah definitely there's a lot of uh space in between the Midfield and the defense and even the strikers and that has to be close down start playing as a team and Jillian Stevens was here covering the uh covering the booth here in the first half and let me know that the Belchertown goali is a super seven yeah he is a Super Seven I just
058saw that today too uh I don't I don't even remember playing against him really I don't think think yeah so he's got to be you know a very good goalie I mean I I'm not oh just a tough one there tried to turn it quick if he just could have had a little better feel right there there would have been a great opportunity for the Spartans that was a good chance right there we go Keegan on the throw in gives him a second chance a little spinny ball hand in that's a that is a handball yeah good call yeah I'd like to see SP really set down here and connect some passes and really get the ball moving here Tyler Wren had a chance there right right in the middle kind of had it and
059just kind of turned it quick it just does seem very rushed from inside the 20 yard line everything just seems everyone gets a little jittery like they're in a hurry to score as opposed to just kind of waiting and holding the ball shielding it a little bit and waiting creating an opportunity yeah it really seems that Walsh Jack Walsh and Tyler rchen are really isolated up there they need their midfielders to get up quicker give him support especially in those scenarios good Header by [Music] Jackson oh here's a chance for the Oriol yeah for good trip paty's there to clean it up yeah out for a corner though yeah but that's the right play it was a three-on-one right there py had to absolutely boot that thing whereever he could Boot It snuck its way
060to the left of the flag and out over the end line it's going to be a corner kick opportunity here for belur toown and this is really like the only chances that Belchertown has had is off of a free kick or a throwin down here they really have not created any offense at all from inside the 20 from either coming in from the outside or getting it to anybody in the middle to try to do something yeah this has been their main chances here but paty's been very good in the air to clean it up I don't think no one has his size out there right now and as you predicted it goes right gets he finds it right on his head he tracks the ball really well he's one of the tallest players out
061there another black shot by oh miss there off the shin that's when you want to clear that ball wide not right back into the junk of everything that was a potential hand ball makes its way out of bounds I'm not sure it looks like it's going to be a Spartan throw yeah and I think we lost our ballp person maybe on the other side so for the second half we'll be chasing oh we just a little hard though just a little too hard I think this is a very open game right now keeps going back and forth here's a big chance for number seven good defensive play there good back checking to go back and try to make sure that there is not a high quality shot taken great defense by Mogan right there yeah
062Number Eight coming into the game for the Spartans and Joe as you can tell I have a hard time Joe's laughing because I can't see Coen done again comes in for Ryan Kula my 53 actually 54 year old eyes are having trouble here at night in the poor lighting in this spectacular Booth though for announcing I'll tell you really high quality stuff here very cozy I like the you know high quality video the bathrooms here are spectacular in East Long Meadow nobody has better porta potties than Elam Meadow here we go here's a chance we got going oh not not sure about those decisions there kind of had it had some open space to come down the sidelines and and he's fast he's really fast yeah he's fast with the ball he's fast without the
063ball I just think there's you know no need to send bring that one backwards especially in that type of traffic yeah Shane M uh Shane McCarthy's been holding down the midfield for the Spartans been doing a good job here we go connecting a couple passes now that was three four that's the end of that and now they' got a Counterattack for the Orioles oh good save there save by Nolan you you know the great part about that save it looked simple and it probably was to save it from going in but to no rebound it off of that hard shot that's what made it a great save really good got down low kept his body right in front of it didn't let it bounce off of everything and really just kind of hovered right over
064it no rebound no Second Chance opportunity there and Nolan Garo very impressive only playing for a year now he's a very good goalie very athletic and he has a size and everything for yeah being a goalie big kick here from paty no one up there to challenge it for the Spartans yeah you know we were saying in the first half what I noticed is on a lot of the goal kicks and the free kicks and on the goalie punts it it's all belter it's either nobody there go opportunity here Jack Walsh is just going to take this himself I think one more not a bad attempt on goal no not bad nothing he can do there much really looks like he's got a little bit of a weaker left foot for sure y seen him
065they're kind of forcing him to the left they've done that a couple of times making sure he kicks it with his left I haven't seen yet I've seen some great moves by Walsh good but good foot control good ball control good moves but I haven't seen a powerful shot off of the left foot yet no yeah definitely he's been uh he's been keeping yeah like I said they're just they're trying to get him the ball and let him do what he does best yeah I mean you you saw oh that's going to be no that is a penalty I thought so right from the start I I oh and then another push down here that could be a yellow card for delay a game potentially they're gonna just a warning I guess yeah yeah don't
066do it again yeah so this is what I was saying like on the on the punts it's all Bel head theast need togive I mean we have players we have athletic players they got to track it better and just be a little more aggressive get their body in there and get their head on it and control those that's been a consistent problem for East Long meow over the couple years past couple years here we go paty again to clear everything up oh there we go Keegan did not like that challenge on Nolan no I usually when the goalie has the ball like that you're not supposed to challenge that no definitely not slide into a goalie like that it's gonna be a little warning there for sure but I do like to see this game
067actually having something yeah yeah because it's actually I was talking at halftime this game needs something because I'm not you know no disrespect to any of the players coaches whatever but it is a actually a pretty boring game all in all there has not been a lot of been a lot of action not a lot of excit in terms of like what's going on on the field things are happening but nothing haven't seen anything exciting I think you need like a little yeah you need some bang bang you need some physicality you need something going on out there it doesn't look like there's like highly competitive like fire in anybody's belly I know being z z especially for both teams after coming off a loss I'd be I'd be pumped up for this game and
068try to get the win really push up get my numbers up here it just looks like they're playing yeah you know what I'm saying they're just playing the game there not like a lot of here we go Bel town has been having most of the dangerous attacks here the second half shot easy for Nolan to save yeah probably not a great decision there by the Belchertown Winger to just kind of take that shot there was no had no angle had had players in the middle could have dribbled it could have kind of move around tried to do a one-on-one done something but that was just completely covered with no angle yeah definitely could have went for a cross there he had players in the Box yeah or back or do something but I think he
069tried to psych out the goalie look away and then shoot on goal but I mean the goalie was really standing right there easy save for a high quality goalie like gska some more subs I think Kula came back in for Phillip 26 minutes and 24 seconds remaining in the second half we have not seen a lot we're hopefully going to see something exciting soon here we go this one gets cleared to the middle Belchertown picks it up the left back comes forward sends it out to the left wing number seven taking it down the sidelines a wide open pass to number three taking it down cuts it back going to try to pass it to the middle and does oh not a very good clearance right there no just out of bounds for throw in
070as they say back in what will we call it like travel ball Boot It Out of Bounds it just gets booted out booted out and they do heast meal throw in I think heong meal's problem right now as they're relying on Jack and Tyler there's too big of a gap between the midfielders and the strikers they have no support up there and it's a two-on four most times or two on three like to see the midfielders get up with the strikers to really help out yeah I will say I I will say though I mean even you know you get somebody like you or Jack Walsh with that type of speed and those type of Foot Skills you can take on the two players no definitely could and Jack has had some success doing that
071where he's gotten some open shots but they are forcing him to his left yeah and making him shoot that ball on goal with you know what I think anyway is his weaker foot and that's therefore not creating as good an opportunity and I don't know maybe you know maybe if Jack gets that one-on-one or one on two opportunity he's got to try to take like here we go right so he's going to have to try to take one at some point to the right field here we go Joe Mogan on the ball oh Joe Mogan with a not a great pass there but a great catch by Will Fox on the sidelines I have to say that was a bullet backup goalie maybe will Fox plays the left wing and maybe backup goalie showing some
072skills there goes out of bounds see this would be a good chance if we had a long thrower I don't know if we do yeah I don't think we do here we go I think Walsh is gonna play it m Hogan really this is this is what I'm talking about like that can't happen no definitely not especially just rushed it was just a rush throw not a good pass you're all the way down there you finally made it all the way down in the offensive zone and look what happened it really looks neither team has a desire to win this game doesn't look like there's a plan no definitely not like a a full-on plan of attack I mean defensively both teams I think have been pretty solid because the opportunities haven't really come through
073but yeah you know defensive soccer is boring I guess unless you're winning unless you're unless you're winning unless you're winning one nothing or you're winning but Tai's z z is uh you know paty there there again to clear it up here we go Shan McCarthy on the ball yeah there we go foul going that way wow I thought they had Shay's Jersey [Music] tugged oh here we go this has got to get popped in Nolan there with these looks like Jack Walsh here we go got Jack Walsh oneon-one right here got the first one by another one yeah good challenge by number four yeah really good you see Jack Walsh using not not just straight on speed but you know he kind of has that hesitation move where he gets the ball hesitates then speeds
074up really really fast first couple of steps let's see if we can keep the ball down here get some get the ball thrown in well get it at somebody's definitely looks like they need to work on their possession after the throwin goal kick goal kick yeah and you know right there good throw in you're down on the 20 yard line 15 yard line and then any kind of an immediate turnover no yeah definitely no possession they need to kind of work in a box work in a little triangle do something down there where they can you know maintain possession of the ball I think they just need to connect passes like I said and just stop a like pointlessly kicking the ball up the field and there it is again there it is I mean
075there's no way that on a goal kick the ball should be hitting the ground there's way too much of a gap between all of this that's that's the Spartans defense really needs to push their whole back line up here we go now there's a Counterattack for the Orioles coming down the left hand side no numbers in the Box kicked out of bounds again goal kick yeah it looks like no ball boy no one's going to have to go chase him for the ball yeah and it's a long way back there for those of you who haven't been to the East Long Meadow Stadium it's a long distance behind the soccer goal to go get the ball if you don't have ball uh ball boys ball girls ball men ball women um behind it's a good
076it's a good thir you know it's a good 30 40 yards to go back there and you know good 30 yards anyway to go back there and get the ball it takes up a lot of time I mean there it is again though right same thing I mean somebody tried to back a back kick I mean put your head on the ball you got to be first I mean I think if you go back and you count the number of times that it's gone uh in the direction or to the control of the Orioles off of a free kick you'd be I don't think yeah another opportunity here seems like for the second half Orioles has had all the big opportunities Walsh get to it nope oh he does but another this one's going to
077get stopped by the ball girl saves a little bit of time she happened to be in the right place at the right time although I see some there's some ball kids on the other side now so that's good got a couple over there so we're three quarters the way through this game we've got 20 minutes remaining in the second half and here we go let's see who's head Walsh got there Walsh got there except it was a push back in the back by number 10 sarafino calling out the famous hold your line call on every free Crick from anywhere that's a double header there easto got that one and it gets bombed away there by paty see this is where you got to bring that back line and that Midfield up that's where everyone has
078to come up they're just walking up you got to be at half field at this point pull everyone off sides oh I mean they can't win anything in the air today that's what I'm saying and that's off sides right there you can't win anything if you're not trying to win it no seems like they're a little timid at the ball in the air yeah it it really does yeah that's one of the first things I noticed see this is where you need the whole East long metal backline to be at half field yeah you're just not seeing a lot of um I don't know what the right word is energy but you're not seeing a lot of like okay let's go let's go let's go and they're there it seems like if the ball goes
079up front yeah the front people are moving the Midfield and the back is staying still when the ball goes in the back the Back Field is moving the Midfield is moving a little bit in the in the front you know the front is staying still yeah that's a big struggle that they have right now they they need to start playing the like a team and uh really bringing their numbers up together really changed the whole the whole outcome of this game Earl with the header paty to clean it up dula no oh man just you could see it he put his head down and there you saw the guy running back he never took his head back up to see that player going and now oh paty's going after it yeah he got it I
080mean and yeah what a great play by paty right there I mean that's just high quality defense uses speed size strength gets back there controls it and then kicks it off the defender for for Spartans to keep possession there yeah I mean just really skilled how about throwing it to Pat he right there no interception boot it there we go and it gets booted Oh wrong way oh Mogan up for it wins it there we go go beats another now that's good play good for a corner yeah good play right therey up right now oh wow I don't know about that call right there yeah I will say the referee was right on it and what he called was the double right so red kicked it off of white off of red and then in
081I don't know I mean it's the referee was right on it so from up in the Booth I think the natural call would have been to went off white but referee was in a good position there coaches are giving him a little little heat for it yeah here we go let's win this one no right over the heads no I mean there is way too big of a gap between their Midfield and defense and even up top too well it's kind of interesting because I saw one of the coaches came up here before the game Joe uh and was asking elcat Jamie Rook here to from the the way she records the game which is typically to have the ball in the middle of the camera the coach was actually asking if there was a
082way in which she could try to keep the ball on the right side or left side of the camera depending on where uh whether eel was on offense or defense because I think they want to coach that up yeah and when they're showing the video they weren't able to really show The Players exactly what you're talking about filling it you know where they're supposed to be in terms of filling in the gaps and so hopefully they'll you know hope there probably will be little different video angles but I think that's something when the kids go back when the players go back and watch this that's something that you know you're noticing from up here the coaches were clearly noticing and we're we're see you know you can see it from above a lot easier I
083mean that'll seriously make a huge difference we could uh win the balls in the air better and we could play more as a team they have numbers up so Jack Walsh and Tyler wretchard aren't alone up there yeah the throwin are a problem too the throwin are a big problem right now I mean we're we're getting throwin and then if you look at I think if you go back and you watch it the amount of times where we've had a throwin followed by any turnover within three seconds yeah maybe five seconds and you can't have that a throwing is supposed to be your team's possession you're gonna possess the ball belter town has a big thrower py once again here here we go now we got some numbers up three on two Tyler to Walsh
084up in behind good speed by wals but just couldn't get there yeah good idea let's see if we can keep this throw in here we go and we boot it it's a good ball off the back oh he turned around oh no yeah that's not an ideal shot right there no that is not an ideal shot from sideways 25 25 yards out maybe 30 yards out if you count the end zone which you have to when you haven't really had a lot of opportunities you finally got people up there you're taking a possession and I know you know you haven't had a good shot you want to take one but that's a time to settle that thing down and then maybe fire it in but that had no chance of doing anything except going out
085of bounds yeah off balance on the side here we goes a big chance for the Orioles right here Pat's there to clean it up once again yeah I mean he's really holding that defense down really the whole team down he is great anticipation back there he's getting every ball in the air he's the only one winning the ball in the air right now going to get another big throwi in with 13 minutes and 30 seconds remaining big throwin coming to the middle see if this can get on an East Long Meadow head it gets kind of on a head and more of a kind of a body blow I'm not sure sparn have had one clear shot on goal the only one was the free kick in the beginning yeah in the first half it
086was a free kick by the captain and goalie saved it a a little bit of a rebound and actually uh will Fox had a good opportunity put his foot on it and it probably was gonna go in and at the last second a belter toown player must have got their foot on it and redirected it because it ended up as a goal kick here we go there a big chance right here oh G get there no me that's a hard play terrible but it's just too difficult left footed you gotta go all the way across the field man this game is really kick and run it really seems to be right now I mean that was just too far to go I think not a bad idea but not from that far away a complete
087whiff here we go Walsh on the ball Tyler ring with that yeah this is a good ball here shoot that okay that's going to be a goal oh goal kick I thought it took a deflection I'm not sure I I tend to agree with you it seemed like a deflected Ball but I think that was our best chance this half so far is saying a lot also known as the only yeah and somehow this is going to be okay we're going to get a goal kick here let's see if eam meow can get it's they got to get aggressive yeah they need that spark in them right now get that come on come on be first no second third there we go there we go Walsh with the ball oh here we go little little
088Keegan on the ball sending it out wide wide numbers in the Box to rechen okay not bad I I I think they got I think they got some momentum coming right now yeah that was nice right there everybody was kind of up and in the right spot little better of a ball there than that we would have had a shot on that a it here we [Applause] [Music] go oh come on they're just kicking it in the air and oh and then just heading it to the open space where nobody is I don't really get it why they're kicking it so high up in the air we can't even get the head a head on the ball here we go Nolan gar is going to run it out smart play here see if we could
089settle down on the ball and connect some passes yeah referee was calling for the clock to stop he's trying again and we're having a little bit of trouble here with we're we're going to call a timeout and we're going to call a timeout with 10:35 was remaining in the first half the CL the clock is still running and so we're gonna have to go back and do a reset here on the clock at some point but Joe we're gonna take a two-minute break we're gonna get a little sip of water and some stuff from the concessions and try to get this clock situation worked out before somebody gets fired e e well Joe we had a timeout there I think it was by belard toown they called a timeout in the first half as well
090I think you get one per half right per team yeah I believe so I thinks so they called the timeout kind of resetting here a little bit we got our clock situation resolved maybe we're about to find out but we have 10 minutes we're going with 10 minutes and 50 seconds remaining in the game see Kevin McGee eam Meadows athletic director down on the field surveying the landscape making sure there's no Shenanigans going on tonight's game keeping the crowd mostly under control I will say Joe that it's not quite the same crowd as last season and the season before from what I'm used to so far um and not nearly as rambunctious usually honestly you see more belter Town kids here you'd see more of the East Long Meadow student body out here for this
091game it'd be nice to see just a you know it's a beautiful night nice to see a little more support get a little more energy in the stands and then maybe a little more energy on the field a little more school spirit Spartan Spirit bring it back it seems to be every year the school spirit keeps going down and down and down yeah we had some great spirit I think last year some great games some good rivalries Earl takes the ball up it's now over Jacks sends it over into No Man's Land Walsh on the ball good move there out wide to Shan McCarthy back to Walsh oh no that's not Walsh that's Mulan out for a corner here we go let's see if we can capitalize bring paty up here opportunity is knocking and
092even on the last corner kick it was I'm not going to lie was a little bit of a pathetic corner kick the ball never got in the air y we need to get this thing in the air get it up towards py some of our taller players get it into the there we go that's what I'm talking about there right that's a good one there at least it's an opportunity good chance by py right there absolutely good corner kick got it to the top of the box somewhere between the penalty kick spot and the 18 and an opportunity was at least I wouldn't say it was knocking loudly but it was knocking yeah just a little bit more power on that corner in the sense of more speed on it then would have been easier
093for paty to get a better hat there it is again though beler Town first to the ball right I mean Earl to clean it up paty there once again he's really keeping the SPN in this game great one two right there and then just a littleit too big of a Touch goes out for a belter town throw in here we go belter town just boots it to no one I don't know what they were hoping for there a bad bounce and then go in behind GSA see that's where Nolan s should that was a good punt by Nolan yeah but look at look at this I mean there's not an East medal player within five yards of that ball where it landed that's when Nolan needs to wait until tell the team to get up
094there really get numbers up big chance here for the Orioles goes out for an or oh it's going to be a corner kick corner I mean every time it seems like paty just there to clean everything up yeah he's been really dominant see if he could bail him out been really dominant on these Corner kicks does it again here we go oh Orioles has really dominated [Music] oh yeah this one's I think a little more dangerous a little more of a danger spot I think than the corner need py again to bail us out see what we can do here it seems that [Music] Oriel good play Pure Town didn't have a lot of numbers up there looks like they're playing for the draw now kep three back oh why not settle that one Joe
095yeah oh Jackson's there here we go yeah oh that's a soft call I mean they both went up for a 5050 ball I don't agree with that call I don't think I mean it's not like this game has been aggressively played by either team and you finally see some aggression and you you know you call a penalty I guess that's how it's going to go but oh here it is again though right direct kick and no and it really goes beler Town's way at the end of the day he's gonna have he's gonna have to kick it out of bounds yeah I don't think that ref really knew what he wanted to call there he was waiting for the reaction of all the teams changes he got talked out of that yeah he did no
096that referee called it I think on the other side had a better look at it the coach from belard town are not happy with that I'd bring paty up here try to get a goal here it's been holding him down but oh it was an illegal throw too oh fter Town player looking for a foul there ah great turn by Earl see if he can connect the pass now one one yeah somebody say one I mean where are we offsides yeah came from offsides position did he did there we go this is where i' played Walsh right now it's not settled was trying to get their numbers off I think just shoot it they're such a big gap that's what he did played it to Walsh Too Short now ear here on a little little
097Counterattack right here Tyler will get on the end of it here we go bad touch though just a little too much oh that that's yeah I was going to say good call by by the referee once again same thing the throwi wins are a problem right I mean it's just look at this immediate turnover of possession it went it's gone from the 10 yard line it's gone 90 yards and then Clips them might have been looking for a penalty there yeah that was a little dirty play right there step on the back of the ankle not something you would have ever do Joe I would never I don't think I don't think I ever saw you do anything like that no dirty playing up front no elbows no pushing no shoving all clean Joe all
098clean see if we could win this one there no no why why would that happen here we go I mean you don't want to you don't want to Ru a good streak you know what I mean Joe like when you're on a streak of being nowhere near a ball that's in the air you don't want to ruin it oh oh that's a foul there should have been a foul right there Spartan took him out from behind right there double concussion there it is again though on the throwin immediately goes to beler Town's way here we go Keegan on the ball let see what he could do with it sends it out wide here to Walsh good defensive play there Walsh tried to just do a little flick over the top we got two minutes and
09930 seconds left this could be the last opportunity and there it is again an immediate turnover off of a throwin all right this is it don't shoot oh no just got stuck on his foot there great Touch by paty py wants it Let It Go he's I think what a ball by paty [Music] oh this is it he's got to go to the right he's you see just nothing on I mean yeah there's just not a lot on the left footed shot right there I I just would have liked to see him get one of his hard shots off off of his right foot or at least move you know do a little fake left and then come back to the right or something Joe yeah defin I don't know either that or he's just
100going to they're I think otherwise honestly it just looks like the other teams are just going to play him to go that way if he let till he fires one on goal oh this is a little dangerous yeah that was a little scary right there here we go one minute and 20 seconds remaining this I mean keeg cannot let this go out we got to get it he's letting it go out of bounds I think you needed to save that I mean we haven't done very well on the throwin in the first place I not sure SAR I'm not sure sarafino wants this ball even thrown in but he does anyway and there's a little oh kicked it off of himself yeah I think this is where we could see a long throw in right
101here time out no oh Sub in kind of an interesting sub call with 47 seconds remaining and the clock running it's the last big chance I think right here we'll see yeah they're going to do a long throw there's now down to 35 seconds remaining throws it in nobody home it's I'll call that what do you call that booted yeah get oh no that was the last chance for the Spartans we're going to get one more no chance left we are likely 15 14 13 12 11 10 10 9 8 7 6 5 it looks like we are ending in a draw here at East Long Meadow 0000 Spartans versus the Orioles and we will see you next time thank you and Joe it was a pleasure anouncing with you we'll do it again sometime
