good evening everybody and welcome to East Long Meadow Stadium Field for senior night East law Meadow Spartans western Mass semifinals versus the Westfield bombers we have a gorgeous humid night lots of fans in the stands with me is my co- Anor again Josh Weiss Josh what do you think getting ready for tonight western Mass semi-final well uh last time Spartans took on the bombers it was a pretty lopsided Affair but you never know with a western Mass you know game uh bombers could up it a little bit we'll see we'll see how it plays out from the start but um I like the Spartans tonight for sure but um we'll see if if Westfield's got a little pep in their step yeah we got a great night lots of family and friends here tonight for
all the seniors that have come out for their last wouldn't call it the last home game hopefully for the east metal Spartans hopefully they're going to have a couple more but this is their night for the seniors they've got the you know they got balloons they got banners they got streamers they got posters so uh they're gonna have a lot of fun tonight we'll see sort of what happens here there and there goes a tough pass but Alli Thompson picks it up and she takes it she gets it over to uh oh there it is Ohio and there it was the first chance for the senior Ali Thompson takes that quick left-handed shot and snaps it just a little bit High high but a good chance there looks like Addie Jordan's going to make a
little run here with a spin and down and in we go yeah a little a little rocker Dodge move there kind of came around the left rolled right made a nice low shot into the corner and one nothing for the Spartans early in this game Jordan good movement there I think it's been uh you know it's been a little bit since they've actually played so we got a little K to work out too right yeah it's been a little while and they're going against an opponent that they really you know they' they really blew out yeah pretty pretty solidly earlier in the year so this you know you don't really think that the game is in the game is in Jeopardy I think the girls are just uh the girls the coaches are really just
trying to get back into some consistent pattern of playing here work on a couple of things in preparation for you know the western Mass finals and then inevitably the inevitably the you know the beginning of the state tournament which is really what really what Isam meow's been prepping for all season long yeah nice pass there from Addie Jordan into M uh Mack yeah Mack whitler gets it goes back to Jordan Jordan gets it swings it over to monno little tough pass there monno takes it up top she's gonna come in she rolls left she rolls right rolls again and takes a left-handed shot there goes kind of like top leftand Corner two nothing for the Spartans so one one senior on the scoreboard and I I'm anxious to see if we can get all of
them on the scoreboard tonight maybe that would be nice that would be nice that was a a beautiful shot and and actually I think the goalie was a tiny bit screened there so she didn't really see it coming and it was perfect right over that right shoulder or left shoulder so yeah it's interesting tonight really we got you know some it's a it's a very warm night got two referees out there which is great nice to see that volun you know I wouldn't say volunteering their time but it's essentially volunteer what they do it's really goes incredibly unnoticed how much time effort and energy they have to put in for quite frankly what's so little pay for what they do and sometimes not necessarily here but the abuse that they sometimes have to take but
two nothing on the draw controls this one kind of gets spun out chases it down makes a nice play there not sure if she's gonna get it looks like she probably is at the end of the day it's probably oops she's GNA just probably one of the longest draw controls of all time it goes all the way back to the goal this one gets past out up to Marino who somehow bobbles that one and now it's picked up by Hannah Taft who gets it which is great she's got it her left gets it over to the goalie goalie gets it up again and this one's passed up to Weiss Weiss has it she's carrying it up nobody covering her right now and gets it there to Thompson Thompson over to Jordan Jordan gonna get kind
of double team there which is nice she kind of kicks it back out gets it to morno morno has it she Dodges left she's really looking for a pass she get gets it to witler witler Bubbles it takes it back out was that tough she had to spin her you know switch hands in midair to try to make that catch did did good to keep possession there Thompson has it gets it over to their person who kind of just handles everything monno got it gets it over there to Julio to Thompson and Thompson again with another opportunity right there macarini picks it up macarini to Mareno there yep monno she goes left she kind of doubles Downs into the double team triple team quadruple team and they call the charge huh yeah well I mean
that's yeah that's not really a charge but whatever y that was a bit of a phantom charge but yeah Sal ofy as they say sometimes that's what I just said up here in the booth shouldn't even hit anybody oh almost a good one there Addie Jordan smacks it out of the stick it kind of gets bobbled around a little bit more Weiss with a little little check there to keep her outside little that's a little shove there I mean not not really much there Grace Howard with a little bit of a push so it's obvious that this game is going to get called really tight tonight not let a lot of aggressive play take place really just going to have to that's going to get called again if she does another one she lets it
go thankfully yep kind of e Westfield kind of taking the West Springfield approach of just kind of moving the ball around holding it at the top which is nice yeah not a lot of not a lot of cutting happening oh almost taken there good Howard with the tough D there yeah good d right up on her yeah good catch there gets dropped to the ground it's picked up Reno's up on her right up in her Grill yeah I mean morno really that's a good play there yep nice play good defense oh good play by Jenna Holly there to knock that away good Scoop by monno and they We're Off to the Races here Westfield does have four people back but looks like it's going to be a bit of a five on four with the
momentum morno around yeah that's that's a definite shooting space I'm surprised it wasn't called before that I mean it looked like she was going to shoot it at the 8 meter yeah would have liked to see mono on that transition pass there get that thing up to Jordan or whitward and then because then the defense I think would have shifted over and they could have been like a little give and go if you know what I mean and probably had something but I missed that was it an eight shot eight meter um fired it at her feet and and it went okay so it's two for morno right out the gate Good Start maybe they're talking about that there but we'll see yep so s to point left in the first three nothing Spartans so
far not you know on the Westfield possession they were working it but there wasn't a lot of cutting through the Zone there no they had one opportunity where monno went out and tried to steal the ball and kind of a longer pass she just missed it the girl had a step on her and you know I think quite frankly if the Westfield girl probably should have gone directly to the goal and maybe got a shooting space or some type of foul because that's going to be their their best opportunity let's see what happens here on the draw controls are so far you know it's three Z yeah and this is going yeah four and it looks like if she slows down she's going to have that left hand lane right there yeah okay good double
good double team for sure gets it back to Marino Moro gets a stick whw moving good pass nice move good stuff there move one two three Jordan to wh Marino to witor all we got some substitutions in Sabina mne coming in for Angelina and um getting in there for whitler that goal so I sense we'll see a little bit of that subbing in and out here yeah I think so and and then probably at some point we're g to get some hopefully some of the seniors or maybe some of the seniors up on offense and yeah see if we could get Weiss to get a goal and maybe Taft yeah some of these other seniors that don't you know Thompson gets you know Thompson gets her share monno obviously gets her share macarini could probably
sneak a couple in there there it is oh Weebles it Weebles it wobbles it it doesn't fall down and she picks it up Thompson gets it to macarini let's see if macarini can take a do a little one-on-one here do a little crease roll or something maybe not maybe she's gonna pass it back to monno I think mono's looking over to mney ky's got it she passes it down to calib calib come on look for something here macarini no gets it over to Marino which is fine it's all good gets it on the outside that's there that's Thompson deflected that's an a bit of an unusual one there where she almost intercepted that on a shot usually that's a shooting space call of some sort or it's a dangerous shot it really I think has
to be one or the other but this is going to get shut down here by Weiss with a little bit of a little jab there oh that is that's good teamwork uh so Moreno from behind there after Weiss had put the brakes on her so it was nicely done yeah Westfield's putting a little pressure on here it's good for them to would like to see oh and nice job there by that's is a little better here here's the transition now if monno can kind of get up there they're going to get a little they're going to get a breakway monno is gonna have a wide open one in the middle right Y no maybe not oh that's a good pass a tough so mck good idea yeah good idea but mne right there needs to
needs to see that and probably make that cut a little bit earlier cuz that pass was really looking for her to make that move to the inside so was a little bit out in front of her and um so she just wasn't able to get it but a good good play this one hits the ground too we'll see what happens here this gonna looks like that one might gonna be weisses just's gonna play a little field hockey with it there we go back to Jen Hol Jenna Holly has it Jenna Holly is going to make a really good pass right there to Ali Thompson who has it Alli Thompson is going to take it oh that's a Weeble wobble and air oh looks like Anna Max's going to have a chance oh yeah I mean
that's slightly disappointing that it went through you had a bad pass there by Thompson it goes over the Stick of oh a great play there by Thompson who's like a a turnover machine on defense yeah but that one there it went through the stick oford over the Stick of Jordan and then through the Stick of macarini you don't usually see that but that's a as as we know that's called day turnover turnover yes we see turnovers We Do Spot them here in the booth we keep we keep we do keep we do keep track of turnovers there's well our crack stat statisticians are all over that yes I believe that's the second one of the game today yeah which there really shouldn't be any um you know maybe one bad pass here and there but
certainly there it is good one to from we now this mne yeah M she's got Wheels I mean she should take this one to the house little move there there it is and right good pass she just needed to get her right hand back up on that on the stick shift she dodged left it got little bit to the good pass there by Thompson Jordan Thompson to Jordan yeah nicely done yeah good on that cut through right there it's like you know at this point in the season you definitely I mean obviously you know they're going to end up playing a lot better competition in the state tournament Etc but you see that the you know the the productive nature of having played with each other all season and that they're ultimately reading each other
so much better than they were at the beginning right oh yeah absolutely no they're working on some things here you can see I mean even though the score is 5 nothing can see coach Moses doing a little Co in on the sidelines with Coach Maza comes a long way from down in the Newport area to come up to these games and being an assistant coach really supportive of yeah the team and has really helped both of them have helped carry this team from you know from where it was in the beginning to where it is you know to where it is today is kind of amazing yeah it's a really amazing commitment by Maza really you know it's excellent impressive here comes another Dodge but she gets double team gets that one behind Anna make
your move [Music] over to Jordan makes a good pull back there didn't have anything yeah takes it up top got some Syracuse going on good pass in to Anam oh nice save by the goalie oh that's G to probably get intercepted and it does kill Stevens with a nice pickoff and to stay with it after the initial Bobble Spartan setting up let's see what they can do here Jordan GNA set up gets it a little gets it to marino marino has it she's kind of winging it around here monno has it oh good cut good oh oh that's a kick I think but not called maybe inad it looked a little bit inad and now moro's like good pass there oh why not go to your left hand there go to your left hand it
was right there for her she just needed to catch she caught it right then just got to go to the left hand she would have had a a smoker of a shot good pass by Thompson to Cal another one really good play right there Thompson to Cali puts it in yeah they got that nice cutting yeah they must be working on that move that cutter move because they've been kind of pulling it off the entire first quarter so y y so 205 left six nothing Spartans is beginning to pull away here we'll see how this all plays out but it is a nice evening it is a little little humid it's a little humid I'm getting a little ear sweat actually with these headphones on it's causing a little bit of a problem like behind
the ear you know that can happen you get a little drippage is because after the rain it got humid yeah very humid I mean I know I'm in a short sleeve shirt and we are in the shade but I mean the ears are really hot right now really hot no air up here no air up here at all J Jamie Rook our videographer the everything she is all everything elcat elcat all sports but especially lacrosse it's definitely her favorite to be here and to video she loves the announcers I mean how can totally I mean it's the entertainment really at the end of the day I mean makes her job easy really right other times she other she nodded yes that was great for those of you at home right so I mean other times
you know she's got to go to these other games just stand there with the camera and view it nobody talk there's no action going on but not here in the lcat girls La I'm pretty sure I saw an Instagram post saying she was excited about being with us toight I'm sure I'm sure yeah good good move by Jordan and joh again [Applause] yeah so we see coach Moses over here talking to yeah the folks on the sideline and about you know doing some coaching and and helping them to understand what are they seeing as as this is unfolding in front of them and what's going to be there what's not going to be there as they go forward right that's right yeah it's not just about this year these girls over here it's about next
year and here's what happened on this Play here's what was good here's what was bad I mean even when they score I'm sure she's giving look you see M whitler over there a freshman like she's getting yeah she's getting grilled right now she's getting coached up I mean look at she's Co exactly she's coaching her up you can see ma practicing her where she's moving that stick so there was something that Moses saw that she didn't like and yep oh here we go this one's going to go out of bounds and that means what Josh it means uh they're going to redraw there you go good call I knew that you the answer to that that's why I asked I just had a tick I had a tickle in my throat so I had to
get it out there you go I think that's the first one we've seen all year we've not seen a a draw go out of bounds before so there you go folks you are witnessing history in the making yes all season you're lucky you stay Ted and you don't even have to miss the Celtics game tonight because this game will be over I mean there are at least six people watching right now minimum at least it's got to be more than that well I mean the girls do like to they watch it after and macarini has got to just feel like she's got she wants it no wow comes way out that's a way out tooro Ding Dang oh good little fake there holding off oh tried to thread the needle to macarini oh picks it
up and Spins away very nicely actually keep Poss cor's trying to get these seniors trying to get macarini a goal and here's Marino oh oh wow oh and Marino gets stopped then knocks it right out of the goalie hand into Thompson for the goal beautiful and Alli Thompson takes a shot to the abdomen after the P great play by Mareno to stay with that strip it from the goalie and then make the pass yeah I'm just not so sure that that's actually legal oh in terms of not being able to yeah not in that location I don't in thee yeah I don't I don't I'm not sure on the rule on that but I would say generally speaking you can't put your stick into the crease in order to get it I mean maybe the
goalie's foot was on the crease I'm hearing but I'm I I'm suspicious of that from one of our spotters yeah I think we're gonna have to go to the replay and I would say the Westfield coach probably has the better argument on that yeah especially as the team was up seven nothing we don't he doesn't seem to be arguing need to be you know abusing the goalie not sure what uh what happened on that draw but it's going to be Westfield ball here with 20 seconds left in the first quarter probably a a premature move by monno oh nice play by Thompson there to pick that anticipate that and then then I don't know what after that but there's another one oh good play oh oh eight seconds left in the quarter this is going
to die on the vine I think three seconds left and they're not going to get a shot off or they do get a shot off and Holly makes a save so at the end of the first quarter a dominant quarter by the Spartans it is eight nothing we will see you in a couple minutes e e e I don't think we're going okay yeah we're back right Josh we're back we got Allie Thompson on the draw right next to each other nice little play there and and then gives it away yeah oh yeah that's the dreaded the absolute dreaded turnover yeah oh I mean she causes a lot of turnover so but we can't you know doesn't want to be turned the ball over you get a possession you want to get a shot right
oh good play oh really yeah that was a good maybe kind of like a cross body okay she need to get a little bit more around her fair enough but was close probably not a bad play though cuz she was going to sneak her way around the corner right that way now they get themselves set back up Hannah with a nice little bump out Mareno on the close out on number four Westfield swinging around setting it there but they've hung on to possession we've got Grace rapold in the game uh Guardian number 12 for Westfield Talia Weiss steps in and knocks it away and I think it is on West Field okay so little uh Beginning by Weiss but then got pulled back by the ref uh the Westfield player was not behind up to
up to Moreno and on to Addie Jordan who's looking for a move into morno morno makes a little move around the corner and oh misses wide right yeah that was that was a really difficult shot you know right in front of the goalie with nobody in front of you so it was you know hard to put that one on goal probably okay father oh animac had it slipped out of her her her uh webbing of her stick as she went to do a one-timer Westfield back to the goalie goalie fires it up number 12 who's got it and making her way through the middle up to 15 get some traction there speedy speedy move there Thompson tried to knock her but a little too much uh Ball's loose up front Jenna Jenna Holly Scoops it
up and nice pass out to Addie Jordan Jordan up to macarini oh can't quite get it try to scoop it and and Pops it up in the air I don't know what's up with macarini today but that that ball is like a Bing Bang Boom it's in it's out it's off it's over who knows but she's fighting she's keeps fighting for the ball but she's had some opportunities here it just keeps kind of falling out of her stick I think she might need a a dad might need to get that thing restrung or something before see what happens it's definitely the stick there you go all right macarini has got it behind the net looking to make a pass out to morno morno looks surveys swings it to Moreno Moreno into Addy Jordan nice pass
there tough angle hits the the yeah that's really just I don't know that's might be like one of those you just want to pull it back as opposed to taking a shot there yeah that angle was a tough one yeah I mean you had a couple players on you but good oh oh Jesus it's a good thought oh good stop by the goolia and a point blank from Matt whitward and and a little chop from behind yeah witw probably a little mad at herself right there so so far we've seen in this quarter wit and morno for sure with a wide openen goal and weren't able to put it in Jordan took what I would think we would classify as a ill advised shot three people were on her I mean she can generally score
from just about anywhere but you know she probably had about about a six inch window there was there wasn't much so see if they can pull it together here yeah the coach of westfields uh doing a little yelling cut through nice play there by Weiss to knock it down and and gets knocked down to the ground uh knock it down get knocked down doing the whole dance and now it is I did teach her that little flop at the end to make sure it's important it's important to make sure that if you want to get calls that's what you got to do yeah she was never great at that in basketball but she's not bad in Lacrosse Alli Thompson's got it good pass there by Holly who has oh nice pass there oh I mean
I don't I don't know how that's not a shooting space call she she's got truly a wide open yeah good pass good shot good I mean monno had lined up to shoot it the girl was right in the way it's probably a shooting space call but doesn't matter really at the end of the day it's nine nothing yeah just kind of rolls it around the goal trulio wide open and jam that one in there yep all right Thompson gonna get back on the draw and on the bright side Josh yeah maybe you want to tell the fans what's gonna happen if EA middle scores one more goal before Westfield well what's gonna happen is the clock is GNA keep on a ticking and we will be out of here in short order and home for
the Celtics game in plenty of time that happens hopefully it won't be as much of a heart heart stopping Affair as the last game uh but uh yeah oh you know you got to make it interesting I think that's their Mantra as long as they keep winning nice play there by number 13 for or 23 for Westfield not a great pass after the fact porno going for the seal slash yeah nice play there by Weiss to keep 15 out not a lot of places for Westfield to go right here kind of blocked off and not a lot of cutting either that's happening but we'll see let's see oh that's going to be looks like a uh is that a yellow on monno y looks like it chop down on the arm I guess she's in
her favorite chair [Music] again it's unbelievable maybe we should rename that chair the more no chair I think it's probably a good idea I mean or you could donate it donated by Jeff Morton I actually think if you if for the right price I would make a donation if I could get the chair named after uh monno I mean that would be worth a donation to the East Long Meadow girls lacrosse booster club I think there's a negotiation to be had there we have to talk to maybe you know McGee about that I think maybe the school committee could be yeah so Westfield still looking for an angle here slow going they're Waring up so this is their chance pass oh knock nice play by Hannah to knock that away then kick it back to
Holly Holly up to Jordan's got a streaking m m where almost Falls I would have liked to a little tumble there myself and that's a shooting space can we call shooting space no we're not why would we call shooting space there yeah we just letting them play yeah no no need it's probably maybe it wasn't shooting space I don't really know the rules but it looked like it to me I've seen it before I thought you knew the rules of the sport really it's very subjective and complicated okay it's good for us to be honest with the six people on our call though yeah and that is going to cause some BR losing tomorrow off the knee no doubt ice pack coming I would say so 458 left Spartans have scored a goal and again
M whitward whistles one right into the the goalies and then the problem is after that it's the after play like okay bad shot then bad pass time you got to pull it back and take your time just take your time yeah don't you know you you don't don't turn make one bad thing lead to another just do reset there but we're gonna have uh Addie Jordan has it right on the outside comes to wh should be a little oh good Twizzler down the L yeah nice little low shot Bouncer and guess what we're in bonus time so with 422 and the clock rolling it's 10 nothing Spartans it is so I mean I guess what we could talk about now are the the gambling odds on monno getting kicked out of the game what do
you think second yellow card I mean we're not even halfway through the first yellow card was questionable yeah and I mean this senior night on top of that I mean it's possible they could that could be a nice way to go out I mean it would be the way it started go out the way it started I mean from soccer to Lacrosse I mean most most yellow cards for sure in the history of eam Medal High School I I would be I would yeah if you combine the two sports for sure I'm going to say I don't think you can include basketball because follows happen a lot more often just general but in terms of like actual yeah like follows where you have to like go to the sidelines I'm going to go with yes
okay nice pass there by Jordan de calib I'm I'm gonna put the odds at about I'm gonna say 20 to one and here's why okay because I don't know how I don't know how much longer she's going to stay in the game okay okay like I think that Moses may be starting to move people around a little bit don't want to tempt fate things like that yeah and maybe she I don't know maybe she says Hey I what do you what would you say I would say maybe on the first one but in terms of the hey dial it back no I'm gonna go with absolutely not I don't see that happening okay but we'll we we'll see yeah we'll see I mean those are pretty good odds for you yeah I mean I would
take it 20 to1 I mean for sure I would take it I mean because she's never gone 20 consecutive games without getting kicked out oh another goal he going to yeah but I did I did like that play by Jordan she was open she had a one-on-one her hands were free she got it to the left side yeah a little sloppy there this could be a yellow card possibility because is see a little frustration with that maybe yeah well oh there a good pass there nice save by Jenna Holly very nicely done and you know it's interesting because I think she had clearly a clear shot Clear Vision of the shooter so she was just all on on that shot beautifully done there good footwork good stick control all of that so over to calibri
calab looking for a cutter yeah I like that play though there by calib to kind of Bring It Out reset don't rush it no need to kind of like Rush that particular path pass into the middle yep there's a good cut by an and oh another one off the knee wow yeah well listen it's gonna happen sooner or later for sure but but she seems to be finding the goalie on a lot of these shots or or or or the out of bounds yeah the the goalie is going to need a nice ice bath after tonight because she's taking some shots all right 10 seven left in the quarter 11 nothing Spartans so far um Westfield really hasn't had too many opportunities Thompson Picks It Off gets it to McKenney mney On The Run goes
by number 11 from Westfield looking to make that cut oh I don't like that pass oh was a little late it was just risky yeah good reset nice fake there by that's that's got to be a shooting foul or one would think it would be when the girl actually Ducks but maybe not maybe not and that's a shooting space I believe maybe I don't know yeah eight all right so Mareno with the eight I don't think the girl was outside the 8 meter that duck yeah yeah Marino off the goalie again offer arm 12 seconds left in the quarter Megan surveying gets it to SA mck cut across oh off the post from Moreno 3 seconds left and half Spartans in have a commanding 11 nothing lead we'll see you back here in minutes e
e e well Josh we are on our way back here for the next 12 minutes of the third quarter of running time 11 nothing Spartans it's been a dominating per performance A little sloppy play by East LA Meadow but um you know all in all I'd say it's you know it's all about what the numbers are on the scoreboard it's 11 nothing Spartans right all right listen in anticipation of maybe a slightly lopsided game I came up with a couple trivia questions all right so I'm gonna give it to you okay and then I'm gonna give you I'm gonna give you a little time to think about it okay yeah I'm not just for the record I'm not really good at trivia but I'll try our viewers at home can play along okay yeah sounds
great so the first question is meow High School oh oh I think we got to get Mark macarini for that we probably do well there's there's two there's definitely a hockey player and there's definitely a baseball player okay so we have there's so uh there there are two they might both be baseball but I think we might have one hockey player I'm not sure I'm going to tell you that there are five there are five one is sort of a professional so it's because okay well we got Nick we have Nick Ahmed correct that's the easy one that's kind of an easy one um who's next uh professional yeah I don't I mean you gotta remember I'm also not a Towny okay so I I'm from Holo originally okay so I only came here to
East Meadow about so that's sounds like excuses well there was uh James Thorp but he played for he was drafted by DC United and played in the Premier League okay that was a hard one that's a good one okay we got two so we got three more didn't brother Mike winner of the 50 hang on second here comes the 505 Chris tersi oh all right who is Chris uh Chris tersi won the 50 5050 raffle must be present to win uh oh no okay we will reach out the winning the fans are getting unruly looking for a redraw 5050 they are so so we've got we've got two names so far so so you're Jamie you're right so that would actually add a six so Mike Ahmed made its tripa a with the Dodgers affiliate
that is professional [Music] sports I think once you start going down that road I think you now you you you could throw in a lot of you could throw in a lot of people that played minor league this or that along the way so I don't think but I don't think there actually are beyond that okay so I'm pretty certain okay so we still have we still have three other people one is in a sport that does not have a a professional league if you will but wrestling WR reach the Pinnacle of where they could get to let me put it to that way is it an Olympian an Olympian we have an Olympian yes okay is it wrestling no uh Jamie is Jamie he a male Jamie and by the way I could be
missing one what I could be missing one by the way nice shot by Addie Jordan as we so we have we have a track and field person we do I don't know no okay uh swimming [Applause] wow really challenging here I now here I'll give you a hint think he runs a business around here that is related to what he excelled in that should be a big hint I can't even I can't even think about it weightlifting it's be a no not a cycler not a it's crazy not a weightlifter I don't know sh I'll give you let me think if I can give you another hint all right one of the one of the events is the Rings oh yes okay does that help you it does help me yeah I hope so nice
pass there oh again Moreno is finding the goalie oh trulio tries with the old backhanded Twizzler does not happen the net is apparently not big enough for some of the girls tonight on these one-on-one wide open shots but oh um and wait I believe they called a charge is that what that was and if I if I can remember correctly we have the Olympian is now an Olympic announcer could be yes oh so so do we know who this person's name Tim Tim Tim Tim daget Tim dag it okay now there's so we got two more what's that who Frankie vrono yes he does count no I didn't say it but I I was on it so we have one more and I would now again good shot there again by Jordan um I I
might not have all of them I thought I did but it's possible so there's one more and they were relatively recent to give you a hint wow I I have no idea no idea who that could be I'll give you the sport it's baseball wow it mes the major leagues not in the majors they're in they're in yeah believe double A at this point I just can't count that I can't count that no what who' you say no I just can't I can't but but he this this guy has a chance to go to the majors he's only been in the minors for for a year and a half yeah I don't know I I don't think it counts honestly no disrespect I mean obviously a great athlete but you gotta make it you gotta
make it to you gotta you gotta go to the Big Show I think he's on his way and other words you didn't stall out in the minor yeah I hope so correct Alec Baker okay that's right Mark macarini Mark macarini in the booth Mark since you are since you what's that now listen so you've so I we had Nick Ahmed Mike Ahmed Frank patrono Alec Baker Tim daget and James Thorp is there anybody else or is that everybody that that that played professionally like we're not talking like Independent League we're talking about either like made it to the majors or high into the minors although Jeff is is arguing that point which is okay that's what makes that's what makes this exciting and interesting gives us a little something to talk about during the game
Moreno fires away whistles it past the goalie there it is uh that would make it 14 nothing Spartans with six minutes left in the third oh that's right okay but that doesn't count that one doesn't count I I don't know I think we're I think we went a little too broad I if you didn't make it to the major leagues you didn't make it say yeah I don't like the or close you either make it or you don't well no no disrespect we're talking like I think there's a lot of disrespect you could go you could go you could go all the way down the list guys who like you know played a year here or there but yeah yeah so let's what else we got I got I got one more trivia question okay
no steep how long ago was that ah so Steve Steve Moyer go but oh nice shot by Thompson gets that goal for senior night was that first I think so so we're at 15 nothing with 45 said okay you want my second Tre huh there was marino marino that's right maybe as far as you know all right now this is a this is an interesting one he's still in the first question I guess I got to wait he's processing yeah he's trying to come up with more if you come up with more after it's okay it's like no Tenn professional tennis ball no no all right all right we're gonna close that question here comes the second question you ready this is gonna be interesting the top grossing Sports movies of all time top 10
slapshot no no Slap Shot is is not on there so no John no that's that's not even in the top 100 Blindside was number one actually way to go Jamie all right there's there's a couple on here I was quite Moneyball no Moneyball was not top 10 and you know I'll give you I'll give you one that really surprised me that isn't on here is Field of Dreams wouldn't you have thought Field of Dreams would have been up there it was not here it is an a she's got a little bit of a butter stick tonight oh we got somebody's somebody getting who got the yellow oh well if you're not GNA store you're gonna take nothing like a yellow card in a senior night it's just the way it's gonna be it's a statement
all right we got blinds side what else do we got um wow Mighty Ducks no no no no no there's one that should be really obvious nice play by Grace Moore there oh coming in take it oh I like oh yeah Rudy's a good call but it's not top 10 how who no because you know what's interesting is I think these movies came out you know people had to go to the movies where like some of the movies that are on there were a little surprising to me and I think maybe because I to see how they categorize you know top grossing but there's a couple I would not I definitely would not have put on here one of them here's a hint one of them actually more than oh nice move by mcky beautiful
little move there tuck under and really nicely done three of them are part of a a a series if you will that ought to give you that ought to give you a rocky rocky so Rocky here's Rocky but Rocky three and Rocky four was actually aead interesting okay I wouldn't have guessed that all right so we still got one two three four five six we got six more Karate Kid no that is even professional sports well this is this goes back to our original discussion right so I'm gonna give you water yes that was two actually oh oh oh oh what's the one with the golfer cat sh oh no how is cat Shack down in there that's unbelievable I know it is unbelievable nor Happy Gilmore neither one of them that's disgust that this
I don't know where you got this I think I just made it up this is not did you Wikipedia this thing there's no chance I it came up top grossing Sports movies of all time all well you you what did you use like did you use AOL dial up to get the answer I use chat GPT yeah it's clearly clearly there a problem I'm GNA give you here's I'm gonna give you a good one okay I'll give you a hint will um herel no no will uh who's the really funny comedian that I'm drawing will he's G all like huh he's on he's a comedian yeah huh no he's taller than he was Jackie Moon um will isn't that his name I'm totally drawing a blank on curly hair he was in Wedding Crashers will
frell so one of these is screaming no oh um blad of Glory no it's unbelievable we're getting killed right now you're are getting killed I thought you guys would do better on this one no yeah I could give you a hint you want a hint or no probably I I would need one I'm not good at trivia oh the race car one riby yeah that's TGA nights okay so you got we still have one two we have four more four more well we are going to check it out as we head into the fourth quarter we will be back yeah sit I know you're on the edge of the seat there so keep thinking e e e we're ready get started in the fourth quarter Kenna Marino on the draw it goes up off to
the sides it's getting chased by Marino Scoops it up goes backwards and a interesting pass to Weiss who uses her speed she's coming up she's coming she wants a goal go for it is she's going to go the whole way she's going she's looking for it with the left hand off the goalie nice play by Jill stevian with the with the rebound and then the bouncer under nicely done yeah good shot right there between the legs another the goalie is absolutely getting like she's gonna need an ice pack she's getting hited you know now and again I see Talia like determined to do something it was very clear she was not she was not passing that up no she's a little disappointed yeah she'll have another run I I I can sense it me too
all right now listen I don't want to leave people hanging on the trivia okay we got four more Jam Jamie do you have a couple more gu has quite a few guesses here all right go ahead airbud airbud is not correct Rie the rookie is not correct oh Space Jam Space Jam is not correct this is unbelievable this is like one of them here I'll give you him one of them was a remake recently recently somewhat recently like in the last seven eight years it was a classic and then it was a remake and I'll even what's that the best of times I don't think so no uh I don't think I did so here here's the hint it Adam Sandler was in it in the remake does that help you I know when they're
all in jail yeah The Longest Yard okay so we got three more one of them is kind of a sports movie but it's it it actually falls more in your realm sports movie yeah as the Spartans move it in animac makes a move little Shimmy Shake with the shoulder and fires it into the corner for a goal there it is for Anam seniors are lining up to get theirs I will say parents were getting a little worried that it was going to go to senior night Collective side is right there see Mom down in the St she's like there it [Applause] is all right with 919 and the clock running 18 to one Spartans one of them does not involve a human as the star star character or Star oh Secretariat close oh my God
I can't get anything right no what's another another horse I mean no that wasn't a sports movie come on there's a very famous racehorse it's kind of like a cookie secret okay we got two left one is a football movie and the other is actually about sports agents oh show me the money Jerry Maguire Jerry Maguire there you go show me the money then the last one is is a football movie no no you tried that one already it was a Disney production how's that help you does it help you not with football that's right they do win in the end yes yes I'm listening yes yes Remember the Titans that's it Remember the Titans yep there you go all right hey that's right and G Gary Bertier what uh no that was actually 10
yeah blinds side was one water boy two The Longest Yard three who would think that I still can't believe field the dreams wasn't on there oh and Grace Howard goes down hard and that's going to be a yellow card that's two yellows on we're gonna have two Westfield Defenders out in the shaming yellow chair right that's what it is I think I think a lot of it is you're right there there's some obvious movies that it's the revenue piece that you know it would be more interesting to see popularity like you know which is a hard thing to measure nowaday but uh anac tried to knock that free did not happen got little penalty on that Westfield goalie fires it down trulio tries to go for it again and that's going to be a yellow
card should be a yellow card cuz she didn't go back but uh I guess not just going to send her back 715 left 18 to1 Spartans balls up uh to number six for Westfield using her speed yeah coming down she's got 15 open Weiss closes the gap on her knocks her down to the ground and I'm not so sure that's even a penalty but whatever I think she I actually don't think she was extended on that no if you fall down though all right so pass in to number four fires it and little wide right on that tried to bounce it past Holly but missed the net Westfield's gonna take another run at it here Hannah Taft is watching the Westfield player I think Jeff might have fallen asleep oh no he's still awake yeah
barely 620 left in the fourth okay so mark all time so mark macarini but is this is this subjective this is subjective all right so the question for the audience at home is the top five tennis men's tennis players of all time all right who you got Federer is in there Federer I mean it's really hard Jimmy I mean I Conor's Borg lendel lend Mack Andro s Nadal yeah sis was unbelievable yeah an erotic no I put him n he's not in that lend was L was pretty good he was a machine not there pretty good I mean Borg is definite for sure oh an MA with the move comes around the corner gets pushed back out into morno into Thompson quick one timer in the back of the net beautifully done 19 to one
Spartans with 510 left so it's fair to say we're moving on to the finals here that that's a huge surprise today but you know you never know that's why you play the games but yeah I mean I think you got to put Federer in there jokovic has got to be in there Nadal's got to be in there but some of those guys Mack Andro guy I'm a Jimmy Conor fire got people fired up comp competed like crazy he had some epic epic matches I I really liked watching him I liked watching sis play too he's just so talented but how about women well women is it women's clear we're losing viewers as we speak women women women women tennis is clear yeah Venus Serena no Serena well Serena Billy King yeah maybe a Chris Evert
yeah I don't think so though no well I mean who else who's on the list because it's it's top five right yeah I mean so oh uh a little high from morota mne there good pass good catch there from Westfield nice play there by Sabina but looks like it came well that looked like on the side but apparently apparently not nice pass up there good catch by number four long legs long strides got some speed sit down to the corner and Ashley beak is honor and we got a timeout by Westfield with 323 left quite sure why you do that but I'm not the coach so we're g to take a minute and be back e e e all right Westfield in right I think we're back in Action here back in Action three 315
left in the fourth 19 to1 Spartans so we're just going to play this out and we got a shooting space foul on Grace rapole eight meter for number four for Westfield let's see if Jenna Holly can shut the door on this little incursion tesol comes across and is being told to move down half an inch she does four goes in and puts it in the bottom of the corner so 19 to two at 244 I don't think game is in much doubt so good for them to put that one home but the clock keeps on moving and uh we're coming to the end of senior night very satisfying senior night for everybody involved I think except obviously the Westfield the Westfield girl it had to be either 50th or 100 you saw the coach go
to the bag exchange the balls uhuh so really happy really happy for her tonight to get that whatever that whatever goal it happened to be whether it's 50th 100th whatever it happens to be a milestone always something nice I'm sure she's put in a lot of time as a my guess is it's a senior put in a lot of time and you know so now we know why the coach called that timeout wanted to set up a play try to get try to get his senior sort of another opportunity that you know that Milestone goal whatever it was so I'm actually really happy for her to to get that goal Peru there's always a reason right yeah so all right night uh pass back to Grace rold uh rold over to morau 35 left back
to to macarini looks had Stevens kinding across but a little late s there Alli Thompson surveys the scene swings around the top she's got Jill Stevens open at the top Jill makes a move and looks like shooting space so let's see what up into the top Corner good shot by Jill Stevens second goal of the night for Jill yeah it's great good to see her you normally plays defense getting an opportunity at Midfield or attack it's really good to see yeah so 50 seconds left in this game so we're going to close this one out on a draw looks like looks like Jill Stevens is going to go from the goal to the draw Circle little prep for next year maybe for Jill Stevens might get some might get some opportunity next year in the
Midfield yeah coach is going to take a look at her here on the draw what see what she can do looks like it and Tado Westfield down again with probably will be oh knocked out by Weiss but in her face so we'll see if they're able to get this off there's 10 seconds left in the game it's a little bit of a scramble and a timeout by the Westfield coach so they didn't can get this off with three seconds left in the game yeah I can't say I blame the coach there give the yeah girl earned herself a free position shot you know nothing wrong with giving her a chance to to put it in there I think so not that this is a done deal but most likely the Spartans will probably be playing
West Springfield in in the western Mass finals we'll have to wait and see yeah I don't know what happened when when is Westside playing I think it might be tonight I'm not quite sure but uh yeah I think I don't know when the game is is it next week or is it this weekend I'm pretty sure it's it's not gonna be this weekend because it's Memorial Day holiday so I'm pretty sure they were saying Tuesday of next week great uh because you don't you know the State Tournament begins can begin on the 30th or the 31st of May so you don't really you know the 28th is Tuesday you don't really have much time I would imagine it's probably going to be Tuesday night yeah good hopefully they get good weather and doesn't get postponed
and see where yeah yep so last shot of the game and so the final score on that to three yep so great job by the Spartans tonight Team Rolling On to the western Mass finals thank you everybody thank you Josh thank you Jamie have a good night and Mark macarini really exciting game
