001[Music] good evening ladies and gentlemen we are here at East Long Meadow stadium for a matchup tonight of the East Long Meadow Spartans versus cross town rival minog for a western Mass playoff game looking forward to a great match this is the biggest crowd that we have had all year long you can see across the way they bust in from minog and wilam and hamen supporting their team across the way on this side the stadium is packed the student section is full they were screaming the national anthem as it was being played lot of excitement here tonight looking forward to a great matchup this will be the third matchup of the Spartans versus minog minog has the ball they will get it first 40 minute halves and we are going to to start the western
002Mass playoff season right [Applause] now minog kind of bombed it down there it kind of chased it down ball kind of does head out of bounds it's going to be East Long medow throw you'll all have to bear with me a little bit tonight I don't have my roster sitting in front of me and I'm not as familiar with the boys team as I am with the girls team but perhaps I'll be able to find my way to a Rost as we get going here minog with a throw in awesome I do have a roster it's given my eyes it's a little bit in small print but I'm sure I'll get used to it a little Collision there kicked out of bounds by an East law meow player but it goes off The Shins of
003a minog player out of bounds throw in right there by smear comes back it's getting settled down good Chase right there oh that was almost going to get sent through there for presno oh that looked like a little flying w w f shot right there got his head on it but got up ended on the ground almost a flip game is already starting out to be a little bit aggressive I would expect nothing less these two teams there's no love loss between minog and East Long Meadow two cross town Rivals for East Long Meadow minog and L Meadow always tend to be aggressive hardfought battled games big kick right here it gets lofted in and here it comes over the top it's right there it's in front didn't see it opportunity was right there though
004for the Spartans it's chased down out of bounds everyone's calling for it referee calls for a goal kick looked like a good call Good Start there for East Long Meadow a big booming kick by the Mina goalie players try to go up and get it they do going to get a hold here kind of an interesting call there by the rft it looked like minog had the advantage but the ref calls the penalty they're going to get a free kick at about the 45 yd line line Looks like number 15 Matthew O'Keefe is or 16 it's sorry 16 it's going to be Bryce Barlo who sends it in low and this one comes out here it's sent over prels got it sends it all the way over down the right hand side as number three
005is making his way up they send it up number three has it turns it to the middle gets it over to prel prel kind of lets that one go through eastom medal maintaining possession good opportunity there settles it one more time Good Hop step another back kick right there good move out of bounds off of minog East Long Meadow is going to get a throw in down in the offensive end going to be a big throw in here isam's got at least one player can throw it quite far this is going to be almost like a corner kick it goes so far in it but it goes directly to the goalie who has it sends it out and they're going to try to take advantage here with a go three on three and they do
006getting chased oh and it just goes wide what a great play by the minog player to run that one down good play by the goalie to get that one out quick minog saw it was going to be a three on three they bombed it down there and the minich player outmuscled East Long Meadow and just kicked that thing wide of the post it's going to be a corner kick here for minog but the best opportunity of the game so far with only five minutes gone goes to minog coach sarafino on the sidelines calling in some instructions here on the defense of this corner kick that's not a good one and that's taken right away here it's moved up but tough pass there a little miscommunication from East Long Meadow as they tried to transition quickly
007into offense just like minog did but they weren't able to do it a little miscommunication in the Midfield but minog harmlessly kicks it over the end line it's going to be a goal kick for East Long Meadow comes right down the middle oh number three kind of got beat to that one right there Zach Zack Richard gets sent down to the middle turns it back gets on his left foot still moving still grooving still shaking oh and an uncovered minog player right there in the middle just got that one off the side of his foot and got it just a little bit wide to the goal but another really good opportunity there for minog big kick right there goes off the head of a Spartan another 5050 ball and harmlessly kicked with the left foot
008out of bounds going to be a minog throw and as they tried to get that one up there to the attacker Here Comes again another good ball sent in there it's on one bounce um just kind of punched that one out was very close to the 18 there very close to going over the line and here we come again it's going to be another fight oh really good shielding there by paty shielding off the minog attacker as gska the goalie came out to make a save there the fans yell boom here it comes again another opportunity for the fans to yell boom and they do not gonna lie I do think the fan booming actually adds about five yards to gsa's kick this one gets sent wide a little trap and one step kick sent
009back it's played through this is going to be fired on oh blocked right away oh here comes paty though just slide tackles him and down he goes and then stares him down as he walks past him good aggressive play there by the sweeper paty dii slides in gets all ball Tri up the play he goes tumbling like some tumble weed on the side of the road on a fall day and then stares him down as he walks [Music] by good here Here Comes prel running Full Speed Ahead gonna try to put some pressure on the ball still running Full Speed Ahead kicks it over prel taking it down the sidelines leaves it this one's going to get centered here right into the middle here it comes it's going to be a wide one he tried
010to get it over the top fire it all right good play being chased down here by Walsh can he save it no flag gets in the way and quite frankly if you run too fast past that flag and you end up running with cleats onto that track you're going to go head over heel so he had to slow down a little bit actually as he got towards the sidelines but you got to love the effort in to try to keep that one in play I believe that was Walsh goal kick here little head- onhe head Collision this one sent here Here Comes number seven Tyler Wren had it he's getting in front of it now they bring it down still kind of like a little bicycle kick there it's up in the air yeah that's
011going to be a penalty kind of undercut him from behind there right about at the 50 yard line might have looked a little innocent on the video but you could see they didn't you know you're supposed to jump up straight you can't jump into somebody and you certainly can't use your arms and then there I think it was a bit of an undercut so Mina going to get an opportunity here it's kind of blasted in there it's a good spot it gets headed over and it's saved over on the sidelines by gska we're going to wait for the boom call which is about to happen by the East Long Meadow Spartans chorus they they were a little late on their boom call Walsh had that one there not really a good settle there good play
012by D pascol he's going to send it he does and here comes prel they're all up in arm arms here he has it cuts it back that's a goal oh Nelly I cannot believe that one he's going to have nightmares at the end of the night on that one that that did not go in people are pushing people are shoving goalie's coming over talk to the referee not happy right now this game is physical as we speak paty dicy was up there he had an opportunity I'm not sure if it was him or whether that was Zack Richard but you're not going to get a better look than that folks and he just didn't put it in the back of the net that will be regrettable in the end if something doesn't go East Long
013Meadow's way when the 80 minutes has ticked off the clock yeah refs are going to probably rightfully with only 12 minutes gone in this game it's been very physical the refs are going to have to get control of this early on or it's just going to continue to get more and more physical it's sent in there good one Islam medal got first another kind of harmless head ball out of bounds it's going to be an eam meal goal kick East Long Meadow making some substitutions Jackson wrin GNA take a little break over here on the sidelines get some water we got a really warm evening here say for the last couple of weeks most of the games have been you know in the cold for lack of a better way of putting it it's been
014cold each night people been wearing hats and coats mittens and long sleeves tonight people out here in shorts and maybe one long shirt it's been a oh that's a tough one there he kind of missed it this one's going to get sent all the way down it's a good one there to Walsh oh that's a head Collision sends it in down here to this one's crossed over it goes over the top Yeah you got to get good try there good try there tried to really put that one on the goal Andrew Andrew olar with the left foot goal kick here for [Music] minog oh my God [Applause] [Music] lot of pushing [Music] here through ball right here it looks like this one's going to harmlessly make its way down to the goalie good shielding play
015there by oliv to Shield off the defend the attacker from minog this one skyed up nice and high it's going to get settled [Music] in little kick and run style here pasy D goes up and gets it first to it smear Khan with throw in now it's kind of an interesting call there you seeing the minog player number 35 complaining about it but could have been a little something after the original hit [Music] pass played out wide SL meow has it there played back need a slide there presel had a go all the way back to get that one it's played through good ball here they're moving that one's just kind of carried over good defense there good offense as well they were trying some things seeing some subs come in here Freon Meadow four
016players going in I think you'll see I don't know what they usually do but on a night like tonight you're going to want to have some subs coming in and out of this game it's very warm plus you the added adrenaline from it being a western Mass playoff game players will get tired if you don't sub them kind of in and out make them all go get their water their electrolytes their energy it's important thing to do and I think that's coaching experience by coach sarapo there to do that you just can't because it's a playoff game I don't think it's a good idea just leave your starters in the whole game and say I'm going with my guys you really have to play the long game here um you know it's 80 minutes of
017soccer on a warm night adrenaline's up I'm sure all the players are ready to play and excited good play here prels got it plays it back switching Fields oh little bit late on that pass there now you got to have There He Go he's gonna little big Collision there one by East Long Meadow good strong aggressive play that's a big booming Punt and that is a WWF right there Tak down a little suplex move and yep hands on the back that's going to get called when you put the two hands out ref see that every time very rarely do they miss the two-hand touch sarapo calling out numbers again some type of play this one's lofted in looks like East Long Meadow is in good position there for that going to get switch switch the
018fields up here settled in not sure why that one is coming this way but it did there we go now it's lofted [Music] over oh that's a really good ball if he can keep it really good there out of bounds off of minog really good pass down there into that open space to allow number 17 for East L Meadow to run down there and get that it gets thrown back here this one should get lofted in and it does a good spinner and is oh I'm not sure how he actually missed that one right there what a great cross he was the only player going for it and he misses it off the skinny top of his hair instead of his forhead that one would have been placed right into the back of the net
019to give eastom Meadow the lead another tremendous opportunity right there didn't happen that was Shay McCarthy running in there on a great move to get through a little Weeble wobble [Music] there good play there by paty to just kind of get that one out of bounds let eastom Meadow set back up there was a little communication back there a little bit ago with the between the goalie and the defense and that almost led to a a good eam oh [Applause] Nelly good pass here one more he wants it oh he just didn't get it one more well some of the fans are getting overly excited for sure we're hearing things down below we haven't heard all year and that's just the intensity of this game as a parent as well this one's [Music] crossed I
020mean that is a absolute bomb of a kick I mean that's a getting it all the way down to the 40 yd line oh here we go it's played through oh tough pass there just didn't get it for number three was looking for it Zack Richard he goes after this one though plays it through continues out that's a high foot and that gets called for sure Zack Richard puts it down sends it through it goes out wide not sure who has it there but prel is going to play it he's got it he's going to have two three people on him plays it back to Zack Richard Richard over here to number 11 number 11 has he's going to play it out to number 17 or at least he should he does actually gets it
021to prel prell's taking it oh and prno went for the high right short side shot and just missed it by about two or three yards into the back of the net side of the net lot of power on that one a little more accuracy and that one is another one that would have rung the bell and given East Long Meadow the lead the fans are waiting for a goal and this place will absolutely erupt if eam medow scores first the fans are down on that end of the field the students are down on that end of the field and every time it gets down there they get up on their feet and they are ready oh halfway through the little more than halfway through the first half 19 minutes remaining in the first half and
022each team has had multiple opportunities I'd say for the most part so far East Long Meadow has dominated the last 10 minutes or so and has had the better of the opportunities we'll see if they can keep this up as the uh as this half continues now when they're a little bit too hard of a touch it goes right to the goalie they it's clear minog likes to get this thing out and they want to get right into their transition game [Applause] we are getting the you can't do that chant we've heard that before at some of the away away games oh that's a good one there same thing oh just goes over off knee first one gets kicked out of bounds that one heads into the side fence it's going to be a Thro
023in we'll see if uh we get a similar type of Thro in here by East Long Meadow if they attempt to do the same thing they did before which with the uh with the big throwin they don't they go with the right on the ground gets this is a good one good opportunity here sends it [Music] in oh I'm GNA say if you see that one again folks that's going to be a yellow card number 11 clearly had the advantage there and it just got completely tripped from behind normally that's an auto yellow card I'm very surprised that was right in front of the referee I'm very surprised that's not the first yellow card of the game this one gets sent well wide goes minog does get it [Applause] first and the you can't do
024that chant comes out again as Shay McCarthy was doing some shielding with that ball and number eight for minog just came over and mowed him down referee called it right away that was right in front of him Coach sarafino calling out the play here presno is gonna take it we're going to see what happens here he swings it in oh just over the top very disappointing for East Long Meadow there that was an opportunity they were were only in about the 15 ydd line prel got some good swing on that ball but it just went too far over everybody's head nobody was at the back post opportunity lost out of bounds off East Long Meadow going to be a minog throw in as they kind of bomb it down there oh [Music] yeah here we
025go [Applause] [Music] fans are in an uproar right now they wanted a penalty and a penalty shot they are getting the referee is absolutely getting tortured right now by the East Long Meadow students section there's no chance that he can have noise cancelling headphones on and not be hearing what's going on down there that he is is all the the fans are all over him couple more subs is number three Zack Richard makes his way back in along with Jack Walsh number 10 Joe prel gets a break after 25 minutes of strong play needs to put some water in his body although I don't see him doing that he's just kind of leaning over on the sidelines at least not yet this one gets sent out kind of a sloppy touch there by minog another
026penalty this time on East Long Meadow going to be at the 30 yd line we'll see what happens here this is a this is kind of an interesting spot here where you could actually take a shot if you've got a good shot Taker and that is not what he does he kind of flips it in and it's headed out headed in and now kicked out kicked sideways it's kind of always a tough spot for those of you watching at home it's a very tough shot when it's at about that 30 25 30 yard line and it's directly in front of the goal there's no real kind of angle for somebody to put it in there for somebody else on your team to do something with and here we are again it's kind of in that
027very similar spot it's going to be at the 35 yd line somewhere in the middle of the field coach sarafino screaming out the one of his favorite lines which is hold your line you hear that a lot from him as the game goes on and there it is a header over the top it's going to be hard to get one over gsa's head I mean he can certainly he can reach up and get it get his hands on the crossbar of the soccer goal let alone I mean the uh football goal let alone the soccer goal this one sent up good play there by paty able to get his foot on it and get it out of bounds so eam meow can reset up its offense although they're not C this is a this is
028a little bit of a trouble area here they didn't have enough players over on this side to cover all the minog players that looked almost a little bit like a handball but it wasn't very [Music] physical it's a lot of grabbing and holding over there too they were really prel had a little bit of an advantage but you saw a little Jersey pulling over there really slowed him down then he tried to pass it he's got it here not giving this one up anytime soon but he does this one gets swung back back to prel he kind of does a nice move there he's got it on his left [Applause] foot fans are screaming a little bit there on the kick to the goalie it was kind of bobbled it nobody from East laeta was
029there good play there there was some definitely some hand pushing going on out there right now oh send it through send it through take it that was some great footwork there great playing there by number [Music] oh a really good ball there down the corner well defended by Isam meow kicks it out of bounds it's going to be a minog throw in nine minutes remaining 45 seconds in the first half big throw in right there minog has it here now East Long Meadow gaining possession as they try to get it up the field another sloppy play by East Long [Music] Meo put it in a little bit out of bounds it looks like not sure that's going to be a minog throw in actually going to be a corner kick a really good opportunity here
030for minog oh look at this I haven't seen this all year we got to get the corner kick but here comes a Spartan this is awesome balls played across kind of boted around boted around again it gets kicked to the sidelines it's being chased by East Long Meadow and minog and the flag holder is the eam meadow Spartan is running all around the field here with the E flag he is making his way around the track and the Spartan have a new team mascot folks this is oh and waving it in front of the face of the fans of minog absolutely spectacular this is a sight what passion coming out here tonight moms are yelling get the ball down get the ball down they want some eastl meow action and there the ball is down
031sent out wide Isam Meto has it playing it through the middle oh and out of bounds it goes East Long Meadow kicked out of bounds it's going to be a goal kick for minog it look oh it's going to be a penalty here on East Long Meadow they're going to get a little more distance on this kick and Bigfoot goalie is about to give it a ride and joining me in the booth coming off of Joe prel has it Megan morno has joined us in the booth oh presnel tried to cut that one back it does go off of minog and out of bounds for a eastl meow throw and Megan welcome I'm here all right I love it I'm back oh he played that very quickly quick [Music] Corner little needed a little more
032height out there and oh look who else is joining us in the booth your other co- announcer Talia Weiss is here Talia you're gonna take over for me from the second half you and Megan will call the play oh oh that was a nice pass oh a good touch right there KH got [Music] it looks like Luca chabeli is back from his concussion oh minog is on a roll Shane Smith brings that to a stop Min TR here we got four on two this is not good a save by gka amazing save a great outbreak there by minog all the way down the sidelines got a great cross it was four on two a header that was going right into the lower left shelf and GSA Dives over and makes the save to keep the
033Spartans in the game my God there's a little bug in the booth you you swalled at me well that happens corner kick here for Islam Meadow I mean for minog o g got that could have been a tricky one a little deflector there could have gone in any direction but G makes another great save I will say Megan you know what you can see out here right now a lot of bugs on the field and in the booth East Long Meadow I'm not going to lie it looks to me like they came out so hot and with so much energy as I sort of predicted it does that's a little too far it does look like East Long Meadow is getting a little tired in the Midfield you saw that outbreak there four on Two
034And I'm just hoping they didn't use up too much energy too early on in this game that is true but I know you're just getting to the booth coming off of an amazing girls victory in after double overtime and penalty kicks that went to the seventh penalty kick great victory for the girls team tonight yeah that was a good that was a good win we fought hard yeah was really really well play W Big W for the team I know so I know you're just getting here and I don't know if you watched it all in the first half if you were watching on elcat but um really East Long Meadow has had some tremendous just great opportunities to put in the net probably they probably should have scored at least twice for sure two
035really really good opportunities that they didn't put in the net minog probably should have scored one so if you're asking me the score should be 2-1 right now but it's not it's it's z00 on the board [Music] I'm not you see the coach down there with two hands he's like what did you do that for it was going out of bounds you would have got another throw in but instead ball gets turned over to East Long Meadow Megan do you know how they fared uh throughout the year vog versus esao um they lost once I believe and then they won the other one and they lost the one that was away but they won the home game so I believe at least Deep D deep good hustle here fired in uh oh oh God oh
036my goodness gracious just another tremendous opportunity for minog and he shoots It Wide hands on his head he cannot believe it I will say the Spartans Megan they're just looking a little bit tired here as we come to the end of the first half they're looking gas they're not going to the ball minog being first and they're kind of back on their heels they really need to energize themselves here at halftime smar had a great header there almost over at the defense big throw in here KH throws it but no no one really gets there oh boy yeah I mean you're seeing this getting just a little bit sloppy too yeah it is getting sloppy on got it yeah you can hear moms down there yelling you gotta want it you gotta want it you
037can tell I mean even they you can just by being up here the even parents you can kind of tell what's going on that they're not pretty hard gonna get an opportunity here with one minute and 15 seconds remaining East Meadow is gonna get probably what look to be like the last opportunity of the first half one minute remaining here got a kind of a tough angle see if he can get a little swing on this ball and he does get a little it's a good ball there headed out of bounds it's going to be a goal kick with about 45 seconds another they're calling a corner calling a corner kick corner it wouldn't I think coach sarapo may want to consider calling a timeout right now he doesn't call the timeout but this gets
038SW God that was a great ball oh my God it's still on the heads gets headed get that I mean that was another great opportunity if someone just got in front of the ball good play there he needs to shoot he can't shoot from there Megan oh he's off sides anyway oh it's still in yeah he was off sides though even even uh calling he did call A Time out here he did get sarapo did call the timeout here so that they're they are going to get one more opportunity saw prel there looking at the referee trying to get a holding call on him but a lot of good opportunities by both teams very evenly played first half G to call a putting seven what seven looks like he called seven or eight seconds I
039couldn't tell scoreboard is going to get adjusted by our scoreboard operator mark macarini always does a great job with the scoreboard e making sure it's always rule compliant running accurately no Shenanigans eight seconds eight seconds on the clock we'll see what play sarino has put together for his team to try to put one in the back of the net here where is it discussion up here in the booth when do you start the clock if you're the home team you don't start it until it's probably already in the goal but I think Mr macarini is probably going to be on the up and up here and he will start it just after the kick so it's a kick is in the far corner from where we are it's a little bit hard to see we're
040blocked a little bit from the actual kick not a lot but we are blocked a little bit so well this is definitely see how this goes here some players kind of zooming in 8 seconds remaining this is definitely going to be the last shot and the clock goes off here goes up it goes down it's being saved it's punted out and that will end it for folks with a z00 tie and we'll be back for the second half in 5 to 10 minutes okay and we're back for the second half of the boys game I I can't hear anything we got the E flag going school spirit is high tonight we have so many guys standing in the front row with red on their bodies and on their heads and we've got an e flag
041running across the turf looks like ch's got a lot of fans too oh got Diane waving her water bottle go Dian there we go the L flag and we've got it oh that's a great through by through Ball by Shane Smith not sure who has it on that side but oh oh he tried to cross it in front of the goal couldn't quite get a good touch on it just since he was so close to the end line it was looks like it was deflected it's goingon to be a corner yep let's see if we can capitalize on it the kicks have been really well we just haven't been able to put them home yet looks like prel is taking it still got a lot of Defense back which is kind of surprising looks like
042they're trying to use the defensive approach a good battle for the ball and then kind of just kicked it away looks like that's a foul I think oh no it's a goal kick all right that that was [Music] interesting some tension between both players looks like Walsh has got it oh almost got it through the defense that would have been a great ball straight to Tyler rin's feet oh we missed the header py recovered Shay threw the ball outside cutting back in the middle oh that was a very risky pass by Evans oh Oliver's got it oh great Tackle by Oliver good defense it's gonna be a corner kick for chog looks like they're taking their time no rush it's going to be a corner for chog this will be a good opportunity for them
043looks like the original play was the short pass but we covered that looks like another corner kick on the opposite side this tends to be the side that righties like more because they can curve it in so they got a pretty good opportunity off their last corner kick from the left hand side so let's hope they can read that this time uhoh it was a great kick it's going to be eel's Ball paty's g going to take it he's had a lot of great kicks all season so they should get down the field and give yell an opportunity great ball from paty reten tries to get a head on it but a little too short Walsh's got it puts it in the air minog is just taking advantage of their height and beating up on
044Wren good ball oh prels got it PR's got it feet in the corner tries to get around the chog a great fake shot oh he should have shot that with his left foot seems as if he was trying to cut it back to the right for a better technique on the shot a good opportunity for yel though as we should try and keep it down in our offensive [Music] end o Shan McCarthy got a little aggressive there almost jumped over hog player Andrew Al chasing down the ball great pressure on that Walsh coming back through ball from chog this is dangerous good great deflection great deflection from smeir Khan samir's got it he's going up vog is chasing them down oh oh oh my goodness Kai almost a front flip over the minog player and
045they give the ball to [Music] chog that is definitely a controversial call fans are not happy about that oh misses the header oh boy great deflection from I think Tyler Ren yep it's gonna be a chog throw in olivery gets ahead on it tries to slip it past him ch's gonna take their time on the throwin see what opportunities arise oh a great throwin paty gets it out presel is chasing that ball down oh he wants it trying to get a settle on it minog tries to trip oh my God a great slide tackle [Music] oh great pass from prestle straight to the middle Shay McCarthy takes his time to get the technique on it passes it right in the back of the net right past the goalie Ben Wilson fans are excited about this
046one this could send them to the western Mass semifinals from now on they're going to probably play defensive game trying not to let vog [Music] score I mean that was just that was great patience prel got the ball slide tackled it back great assist and Shane McCarthy just took his time to make sure that was going in the back of the net was a great play draw the goalie out and then get a better shot East go by number 24 Shay McCarthy number a little back pass that was pretty risky since there were two chog players there oh gara's got it Gara got it that was a risky play we are definitely a little excited probably got to settle back into the game get our heads back where they need to be chog is going
047to be hunting this goal down they're only up by one they could definitely come back and I know they want it good kick by Nolan to the 50 oh my a great Touch by Shan McCarthy good head by Amazing by paty oh prel almost got a foot on [Music] it oh God okay so oh they definitely took advantage of that opportunity I mean we were just a little late to get back we could we couldn't catch him chog wanted that goal they were coming for Redemption right after the Spartans just got their first goal of the night still a tied game 33 minutes left plenty of time it's a it's a toss up for either team I mean that that just shows how quickly a goal can be scored though like that was an immediate
048reaction and honestly the turnover might have left lasted about 7 Seconds got right to the chog offense and they just took advantage of that they wanted that [Music] goal goal by Matthew o'keef on chog it was a great shot right past our goalie looks like both teams are honestly fired up right now oh CH almost tries to jump wret in oh gives him a little punch in the shoulder good self-control by wret not to punch him back oh a missed headball by both chog Andel good defense I mean McCarthy's technique it's just it's incredible this game he is getting the ball down and he is playing defeat yeah he's played a huge role in tonight's game so far hopefully he can try and put another one home or even an assist in the next 32
049minutes East Long meow is going to play the ball quick a good ball great ball over to little far little straight diagonal would have been perfect would have got prel right in the back oh God good play good defense by paty right into Nolan's hands Cho got right past their back line that was definitely risky if Nolan did not come out there would have definitely predicted a goal gara's got it he's taking his time trying to slow the game down 2 we0 players on the sidelines over here warming up probably going to sub in sometime soon keep our players fresh oh PR's got it a one V one oh my god oh it was a great opportunity the shot should have been a little bit more to the corner but it was the right idea
050looks like prel just cut that back in and Zach almost just took it and then we could have had definitely a little better technique on the shot but it was it was close I mean that was another great opportunity he's pushing and grabbing the Jersey that's a good call from the refs good defense by Samir it's like the E people are chanting the student section is packed tonight so much school spirit we love to see it so like garc is goingon to get this one taking his time to slow down the game it's emotions are high right now it's a really good play by him to take his time get everyone to breathe there settle down it's going to be a throw in for CH around the 40 yard line plays it back to the
051back line it's a good ball up ball paty is with a great header [Music] oh oh that could have been a hand ball oh oh CH almost got that a little lower and that was going in I mean we just we just cannot be diving in as much as we are right [Music] now so like paty is going to be taking the goal kick a great touch from reten out to Walsh on the outside just misses it with his back foot just needs a little bit more communication oh gar got it that was close there were two chog players hunting that ball down garco with a punt out to who I believe is little reted ch got a head on it so it's going to be e ball the two subs are coming in Jack
052Walsh is coming out and little [Music] wren great touch across reten couldn't quite get to that it was a little hard good play by Samir aggressive but came out on the right side of that oh head heading battle oh prest's got it right over the top if someone would have just went diagonal that would have been a great opportunity oh metog just almost sandwiched Tyler Wren As It Seems Shane's got controlled kind of hits it out just to ensure that the defense is able to set up and prevent the shot a great throw in by chog right idea down the middle but there was just no one there good pick by Shane Smith like Hog's back line going to make sure that goes out Zach's got it at his feet a great diagonal ball to
053Walsh no Joe Mogan looks like CH goalie got it we are definitely pressing pretty hard almost a little too high that was a close one I will say it definitely looks like our energy is decreasing by the moment we seem a little Gap and chog is definitely taking advantage of that yeah right now I'd say chog just looks like they want it more and we got to really keep up the energy so we can get back in this little miscommunication so Andrew gets it Andrew Al very good pass Zack Richards got got it and he loses it Oliver is playing a very aggressive game tonight it's pretty impressive but is also a little dangerous if he does overplay [Music] paty do scoly to Zach Zack turns the chog defender shingar falls out goes straight back
054to the chog defense a great out ball from Andrew oliv I mean that that was pretty impressive he almost bicycled it it's going to be s meadows ball throw in from about the 40 Subs coming in Walsh is going in for oliv somebody for Samir can't really tell who looks like Chase Evans is going in that's who it is looks like philli Chex went on a bit of a run for that ball I mean it really looks like e long Meadow's energy is really dropping rapidly ch's keeping it up and E long meows just got to pull it back together and get one more and then they can play the defensive game but it is a tie game it's going to be East Meadows ball looks like it was a push to the back paty
055is going to be taking it I'm predicting it's going to go diagonally to the back post which they're going to stack up on that side [Music] a great ball from paty McCarthy hunting it down oh out on CH it's going to be an e throw in presel is going to be taking it no he's not Richard is going to be taking it it's from about the five yard line let's see if he can place it right in the middle get aead on it looks like him and presel are going to be doing some Twan game a great ball to the back post a little far could have gone more a little bit to the middle probably would have set yell up for a great opportunity get ah header 23 minutes left in the game hopefully
056enough time for teams to score again maybe send them into an overtime [Music] a great ball from richards's going to run on to it and he get it he gets it CH Defender got real pushy but presno pushed through put it right past their goalie that was an incredible shot wow straight to the right corner making it two to one Spartans on top the e Crowd Goes Crazy with the chance they are so excited yeah unassisted although it was a great ball leading up to it but presno really put that one home I mean Zach Richard's head ball straight to over the back line of chog almost give prz a great opportunity to score I mean he took advantage of that let's hope we can hold them because we saw last time how chog really
057wanted that goal even after we scored so Shane gets that ball out Shane Smith out straight to the middle that is very risky that is very risky folks Joe Mogan gets that out almost PR's feet chog has it intercepts McCarthy straight to PR's feet passes off to I believe Luca gives Joe Mulan a great opportunity on the left side he cuts it in into the middle Char Defender intercepts not quite to another eung metal player but it was a great [Music] opportunity they're looking to reset this [Music] Jack Walsh tribbling up the left hand side gets gets past the chog defender a great cross in chog SCH is got it he is looking for that quick ball catch East Long meow Defenders off guard paty boots it up the field back to the CH goalie
0582 people we didn't seem to get a touch on it gara's got it good shielding from paty [Music] deie it's going to be a punt by Gara hopefully gets it into the offensive end Richard gets a head on it charie kind of just kicks it up a little backspin Richard threw his hands up but didn't seem like much happened there Chase Evans is shielding that ball oh boy py kind of just boots it straight up that was interesting McCarthy's got it fakes out the trog Defender straight to Walsh's feet he's got it up the sidelines chog Defender Shields that out Walsh did not seem too happy about that call I don't know if I seem too happy about that call back to tr great ball good give goes by chog good defense keeg gets it
059out prels got it going up the sidelines passes it out looks like Phillips got it it's going to be a call for East Long meow again straight from the place it was last time actually almost in the exact spot looks like paty is going to be taking the kick again beautiful great ball from py Pretzel's got it almost heads it in it's hard with it's hard to get those upper shots with these tall goalies I mean the the men in goal are just so much taller in high school the high shots are hard it's almost straight to their hands every time [Music] ch's gonna get a kick at the 40 it was a great kick headed out by head out PR's got it one Defender coming on his back chug is recovering as he goes
060pass to out Zack Richards Zach gets his Zach gets the foot on it a little too far back chog only gets up by his back foot kind of killed prell's momentum couldn't really get a toe on it good give go great giv go oh CH kind of couldn't stop his feet there ran into him well set sets a pick and Evans just bow straight into him wasn't on purpose it's okay yeah sometimes you can't stop your feet when you're running fast it's all right a great header from Shay McCarthy gets it up field allows the defense to push up a little bit Phillip is chasing that down C gets an over the top ball Shane heads it out a great header Walsh she still got it in in oh ref just calls that that's an
061niffy call I would not call that Wren is going back in so is Joe molan taking out McCarthy and pH yes I think it's pH Up 18 it is not okay sorry about that folks we meant Ryan Ryan Ryan Kola Cara punts it almost a perfect ball great touch if we just went to that a little bit that almost would have been a great opportunity for a give and go py gets it up field looks like it goes out who's back on that side is that uh little Rin back on that side I think it's Chase Evans no chase is in the back on the wing oh um yeah okay well Shields it gets oh great pass great pass oh Bad Touch got to get it out of there that is the danger zone you
062do not want to be in Chase with a great header trying to double team I mean that that kid from chog is pretty fast TR kicks it out it's going to be a e throw in it's like Keegan is going to be taking the throw in it's not mhm yeah it is yeah it is good ball Walsh with a great touch Richard is yelling at Walsh to leave it trying to slow down the game a little bit cuz we are up by one with 15 minutes on the clock Keegan's going to take the throw in it's the right idea the CH Defender just right in front of prol good passing give and go oh that'll be East Long Meadow ball at about the 30 for a throw in hopefully we can get another goal and
063really pull [Music] ahead it's okay Richards has it a great ball inside oh looks like Wallace was a little off sides even though he wasn't really near the ball that was pretty obvious oh that was an interesting kick did you see that his other leg almost hit his head yeah it was interesting but it got the job done it did good defense oh ma ma hi Ma CHS doing some subbing probably hoping for FR yeah one of these players get the opportunity that they need I mean this is this is really anyone's game a goal can be scored as we've seen pral hunting down the pretty quickly keeps it in bounds has a 2v one with the CH team get tripped almost chug gets that up looks like Evans is backing off with just kind
064of an interesting play Shane gets gets that ball out out to the outside the little reten back over on the left hand side Evans is chasing that down and he gets it Shields it out great play by [Music] Evans Pat's going to be taking the kick Richard's trying to get through those two Defenders Shane Smith has got it at his feet over the top trying to get to prel chog interferes oh jeez a great head ball that was a great head ball almost the back of his head actually oh Tyler out to Walsh Walsh gets it to be East Long Meadows throwing off the chog defender I mean Evans is walking they are really looking to run this clock I mean Keegan not Evans Keegan's gonna be taking this throw in I mean Luca seems
065to be wide open if you give him right on the 30 he could run right onto it I know I I actually think he should have stayed in that spot I mean Richards was telling him to go back but I think that that would have been a great play tries to get it to prno but the defender was right on his back open space might have been a better option I mean wren's wide open Wren is wide open if they can get that throw I mean he has literally no one on him and he is straight in the middle looks like they're trying to overplay prel a little bit because it seems like their offense or our offense excuse me has mostly gone through prestal the whole game so they are probably trying to Mark
066him as well as they can pretty far throw for CH oh on his back call by Keegan you do not want that that is dangerous I mean if they hit if they hit this good diagonal ball this is a real opportunity for trog I mean 10 minutes left two to one game they got to really want this goal East Long Meadow is packing it with Defenders putting everyone in oh great ball out presel tries to get a touchdown is back in the mixer oh Keegan heads that but it goes negatively so it is going to be a corner kick I mean at that point there didn't seem to be anyone maybe boxing out the defender would have got it to be red ball now we've given up a corner I mean it's not on the
067favorable side so hopefully that's in East Long Meadows favor but we'll see what happens oh oh boy head straight up oh chog flops trying to get that foul it is not going to be called the refs are not going to let that happen good play for chog 19 hit it right out of bounds gives chog a good time to get everybody back and set up he meow's gonna sub samir's going back in and Shan McCarthy for Zack Richard and Evans well it looks like like Oliver went in as [Music] well a good back pass oh not sure what the call very interesting call but this is even more dangerous I mean this is even closer to the goal by 10 yards almost that could be a matter of a goal or not we'll see if
068CH can capitalize on it or if he long metal Defenders are going to keep it out that is a fantastic kick noan Garcia has got it in his hands I mean that's what I'm saying though those High shots they don't really work on the men's teams because I mean these these guys are just so much taller in the woman's game it's a lot different because everyone is kind of shorter and reaching that crossbar is just not as likely prels hunting down this ball chugs goalie takes a kick doesn't seem like it went well preo's hunting down the ball goalie came out really far on that one oh that that was a bit of by paty get it out good head ball good head ball by Luca Luca shabel kind of right to the chog they
069get they get it out looks like chog I remember this from last game they are definitely playing the kick and Run game oh a little trip from chog prel still got it at his feet oh a great pass to Walsh inside Walsh just misses it out to Oliver Walsh just got it looking across o right to tr goalie East Long meow is definitely getting a little gas oh boy this this is not good oh god oh no oh oh my God that was an amazing save from garot oh God oh God that was really risky from paty I mean that was he stepped right over him this is 650 six minutes and 50 seconds left and py kind of just need him right in the head but anyways that was an amazing save from Gara
070he saved it once it goes back to the middle deflected off his knuckles and he just grabs that right off the chog def chog offender's foot good throw in by chog headed by eong Meadow right into Nolan's hands he's going to play it safe he's going to slow it down they've got six minutes left they need to hold on to this one goal lead he's going to run the clock it's a great Sports IQ I mean his punts are just they're just incredible they are so far Tyler richon tries to get it oh chug um I actually don't know what that was but trying to keep the ball and it didn't quite work out in his favor kind just death dropped there actually walls comes out with 5 minutes and 30 seconds to go not
071sure who went in not sure what that throw in was but it worked kind of all right oh a great cross a great Crossing it is up in the air in the eight straight to the chog Shane's got it just gonna kick it up make sure is not in R50 we do not want that for these last five minutes Shell's got it out to Mogan he's gonna give it back pass it back a great pass great connection through that triangle they want to keep the ball moving oh Samir had a great overlapping run if that if that went through that would have worked out in our favor for sure oh a great ball Oliver is oh that that is out if he just got a touch on that that was a great ball from the
072other it's going to be Oliver's ball there is 4 minutes and 33 seconds left and we are still up by one we definitely want to be playing the defensive game [Music] now started [Music] Oliver's got it shielding it out they're goingon to run the clock they got about four minutes left they got to keep this lead they're going to play the def's got it over the top straight to prel prel flicks it and he is on the run shoot it with the left oh he almost oh tries to cut it back gets it on his right foot his dominant foot he wanted that he almost had it [Music] looks like that's going to be gara's [Applause] ball great dramatic save he's gonna stay on the ground for a second or two run that clock down
073take his time punting this ball three minutes is plenty of time for either team to score so they got to make sure they're really playing the defensive game and keeping this [Music] lead out to little rutchen chog has got it going down the sidelines tries to Juke little rushing he does not let that happen back chog midfielder has it puts it into the mixer I mean they uh oh that's not good I think paty's kick just hit the kid on chog in the head he was going for the head ball didn't quite connect there connected with Pat foot instead that one's got to hurt yeah that's that's got to hurt great punt from Gara oh oh great job trying to save that I mean if CH wants it it's now or never they really got
074to push it they are definitely gonna play this kick and Run game now shabel knocks it out Oliver is g to try and intercept that he does gets it to Richards Richard misses it Oliver kicks it back up right into the chogs player Mogan has it going in the middle kean's got it Oliver gets Richard on the sidelines oh he does not save it he was almost there CH is rushing to get the ball in oh P whiffs um Mogan kind of just lost that but it's okay good head B by chog another good ball they're pushing it but eang meow's defense is all the time chog is not even pressing I mean they have 1 minute and 30 seconds left and they are not intensely pressing pressuring that ball that is crazy to me
075and this isn't just a regular season game this is the yeah this is Western tournament this is a maker break for their season they'll still have States but they're completely out my God a great head ball from I think little ret a great pass oh chug Defender got a foot on that shot and there goalie is going to push the ball get it to the 50 but eong meow's going to get a foot on [Music] it there a minute left CH kicks it up Samir is back pedaling trying to get control of this ball paty with a great diving header 45 seconds left in the game molan is playing that safe game 30 seconds left it's going to be Cho's ball they're going to be doing this as fast as they can oh deflected off
076of ch's head little miscommunication 20 seconds left the clock is stopped for a sub they should not have subbed there the clock would not have stopped not the best that was not not a good play not a good play but that's okay but there's 20 seconds [Music] left oh ch's gonna kick it up the field to eight seconds left and P's going to kick it out seconds left it looks like two [Music] one wins the western Mass quarterfinals and now we are off to semi-finals and I believe they're playing agam we will see you next time goodbye Megan and Toya signing off bye
