001[Music] good evening everybody and welcome to East Long Meadow field in East Long Meadow Massachusetts for tonight's boys soccer matchup East Long Meadow Spartans Varsity versus the belur toown Orioles long history between East Long Meadow and beler toown always serves up a great competitive match and we're expect nothing different here tonight East Long Meadow just circled up coach giving lots last words of wisdom coaches inspiring the team they're headed out onto the field early you can see maybe can't see it off to the side but the belur town team is still rallying the troops coach Zach bringing them together they're going to give their chant and then head on out Spartans really have come together here as the season has progressed they're coming off of a decisive last match home Victory where there were seven
002or eight goals scored just in the first half alone just a absolutely dominating performance we'll see if they can continue that momentum here tonight against uh Belchertown we've got a great night clear sky beautiful night for soccer fans in the stands you can see some are in shorts some in long shorts and long sleeve shirts but nobody's kind of bundled up like we sometimes have here in October in eastlon Meadow can see the parents grandparents Aunts Uncles brothers sisters making their way into the stadium some of the JV players who were out on the field before also in the stands to watch this Varsity matchup we're about to get started Belcher toown is going to get possession of the ball first referees are in position about to blow the whistle 240 minute half fans are
003ready there's the whistle and we are off beler Town has possession they go with the early belted up the sidelines left footed out of bounds by number five I believe that was Adam olivary head kicks it out number 12 for Belchertown sends it in right away ball's in possession good Midfield control there sending it up they get it up the middle to number one then over to number three right there Zach Richards sends it down the sidelines some bodies banging over there down there on the right wing side ball goes out of bounds it's going to be a beler toown throwin actually a penalty there so it's going to be a free kick as it a fullback as we used to call in my day takes a big kick first touch great first touch there
004by belard town they play it up got a couple players sends a through ball already and Nolan gska he had a great seasoning goal picks up the ball for first punt wearing the typical goalie number of double zero Belchertown gets the first touch there on the ball Adam ol tried to make a pass there right over to Jack Welsh but wasn't successful belter toown controls it middle of the field being chased bodied off good play there by number eight Jack Walsh to intercept it carried over got a little bit too physical it's going to be a free kick for Belchertown referee blows that one dead got to slow it down reset the ball so right there what happened the ball was still moving which you can't do on a free kick it needs to become
005completely stationary before you can take that free kick so the referee caught onto that quickly and slowed the play down here we go this one's going to be served into the middle I believe and it is it's a big lofting ball Isam Meadow jumps up high gets it out of the danger zone first shot goes wide of the goal looked like Nolan garta was ready to save that one in the event that it was put on goal ball girl on the sidelines throws it in referee with a little bit of help there going to get a goal kick for East Long Meadow coming out of their own Zone as everybody clears out it's a big booming kick looks like it's going to get to about the 50 good play there in the middle number three
006Zack Richards sends it up it's being chased down the sidelines looks like number 11 over there Chase Evans was making a run at it that's at least what it looks like can't see quite the numbers on that side looks like we're going to get a throw in here balls thrown in gets played back that one's kind of a kicked right to a belur town player good charge there by paty to get possession good touch there Joe prell's got it he's moving he's bodying his way through using his foot skills flips that one up almost snuck that one through to Jack Welch just a little bit more on it Adam ol gets it Jack Welsh has it three players on him but it makes its way to number seven good play there number seven Tyler Wren
007had it in the middle good jump up there by number six Shane Smith Defender Joe prel has it tries to sneak his way through two Defenders wasn't able to do that oh this one gets touched up here it's going to get played through it's now a race down the middle great shielding there by Pat y to Shield the Speedy orial offensive player who was trying to make their way down to the goalie as oh Nolan garta rolled it out but a tough play there by number six Shane Smith great play by paty Zach has Zack Richard has trouble controlling that one but eventually is able to make it sends it down the sidelines being chased there by two players out of bounds off of an orial head out of bounds going to be a throw
008in here for East Long Meadow down at about the 25 yard line gets thrown back right through the legs of an East Long Meadow player and Pat's kind of forced to kick that one out of bounds so that eastl meow can reset up its defense Joe prel has he tries to get through two people again that one kind of goes harmlessly out of bounds off of an easta medal player G to get another throw in here by the Orioles kind of force the play to the middle Orioles have it kind of playing it across field another almost touch almost fell over there good play there by number three Zack Richard 21 has it stopped there number 24 now has it Shay McCarthy sends it over to number eight Jack Walsh up to number seven Tyler
009rchen who tried to get a little touch on there to Joe prel but it was just a little bit too far two players battling it down there great play there to keep it in bounds good play there number eight Jack Walsh has it then he plays right here to number three Zack Rashard comes back again to Adam ol Adam oliv has it he's going to play it in it looks like tried to play that one in there to prel but another good charging play there prel has it 24 Shay McCarthy touches it out wide swings it down this one's going to be oh it's a good play here it's oh good try there tried to just play a little fake through ball and hoping that prno was able going to be firing on all cylinders
010coming forward at it but it was intercepted down there by an orial Defender who made it all the got the ball all the way back up to the 50 yd line East meow throw in back out of bounds [Music] again so limited as you can see there's a limited number of ball boys and ball girls on the outside tonight so the players are going to have to do a little more work than maybe they're used to in terms of chasing the balls down when they go down the end line here comes number five oliv making his way down to the 30 it's a great through ball there RN's got it he fires it oh right into the goalie he's beside himself he raises his hand up to his head he made a great move off
011of an oliv pass got it onto his right foot kept the shot down low but it went right into the goalie's arms goalie made a good save and is now gonna punt it out with a big booming kick past the 50 yard line East lto trying to regain possession a really good opportunity there by resell going to get an East Long Meadow throwing on the opposite side of the [Music] field good aggressive play there by East Long Meadow it's boomed up here comes number eight Jack Walsh heading down there challenging the goalie and now entering the booth is my co-host co-ancestry you're just getting here a little bit late after a uh eastlon Meadow girls game but so far I'd say it's been mostly East Long Meadow dominating really possession in the middle of the
012field that has presented some some challenges for the Orioles and uh prel had a great opportunity just as you arrived I don't know if you happen to see that I don't think I did it was just he had a great opportunity at about the 15 yd line he made a good move off of an oliv pass got it on his right foot and kind of made a really good low shot but it was right to the goalie similar to one we saw not too long ago he was beside himself he put his hands up on his head and it was really just a great opportunity so hopefully there'll be more of those for Easton Meadow as the game progresses yeah we got Adam ol here big left footed kicker Andre Andrew [Music] sorry well that
013was a good move yeah great little move right there and a beautiful pass another touchup there good try there by Joe prel trying to get that ball up there to number seven Tyler [Music] [Applause] [Music] Wren as the belr toown Orioles make their first Subs of the game bringing in number 15 and 22 and giving 11 and 23 a little bit of a rest and Megan I have a little hard time with the numbers on the on the Far Side so you'll have to help me out a little bit as to can you help me oh oops sorry oopsies good play here easta metal Defender coming in and charging forward I didn't mean [Music] to Orioles are going to have a little throw in here got it here another good charging play by uh Elam
014meow defense tried to get that one over there to number three Zack Richard almost a touchup there this one's being challenged number 17 Joseph M play there by paty paty sends it over here to number 24 Shay Mogan molan gets it up here to number eight Jack Walsh who plays it through number three Zack Richard plays it up again this one's a good turn here wide open in the middle Joe prell's got a lot of space uses his speed kicks it out wide coming down the sidelines is going to be coming through oh that was a good overlap great over good call Megan really good overlap there the oral Defender kind of came over and maybe saw it coming but presents an opportunity what's Oral belter Town Orioles that's their nickname oh eastl Meto Spartans
015the belter toown Orioles Okay number eight Jack Walsh getting a break he's kind of been all over the field so far he's really been active and aggressive he's got a lot of touches out comes number 17 Joseph molan same thing good playing getting a little rest oh oh not quite almost there yeah good move I mean some good foot control got the East got the uh beler Town Defender to kind of lean left he kind of took that ball moved it over to the right hand side and tried a shot didn't work out but another opportunity making the goalie do something and make a save keeping the beler town players on defense this one just gets kind of floated up oh look at that I'm surprised the penalty was called there yeah it didn't look
016like one did it Megan no he kind of just threw his hands up I didn't think it was going to be a call though yeah called it I mean it's almost like he got the refs to give him that call right I know that was a good ball yeah switches field oliv has it plays it through off of him look at this speed look at this footwork moves through right off his butt yeah off the butt and out of bounds it would looked like it was going to be a shot decent shot maybe a little bit too far out but good move here using his body oh need a little more diagonal who's that over there Megan on the right wing uh is it number 21 yes Jackson Jackson wrin [Music] paty stepped right up
017there it's played back again looks like they're going to try to get this one wide over here to number 18 and they do Ryan Ryan culla good play Ol here is going to take it again he does oh steep down that was an ankle Turner yeah he basically turned his own [Music] ankle yeah good play there little body oh that was good little body checking good play there by number six Shane Smith he been a great defender all season long in comes Chase Evans to take over on right defense there for number nine Samir Khan a staple back there on defense having a great season himself getting a little break here this one just kind of bounces you don't usually see that do you Megan no not much in boys oh that was almost going
018to be a high foot oh boy yeah didn't get that call and then oh off of the Belchertown player and out of bounds East Long Meadow going to get a throw in off the Orioles this one's play that was a little um dangerous yeah a little risky but got it back there to paty and that one not played great oh that was a good save though yeah great save Chase Evans makes the mistake but makes up for it with his incredible speed and then just gets over there and basically oh oh should have passed it quicker oh here we go oh number 18 Ryan culla just kind of blasted that one up you saw kind of up there number seven Tyler wrin was kind of waiting for it oh I'm surprised this stayed in that
019was like the weirdest series of sideline balls that I've seen in a long time a ball went off kind of weird went off a lot of bodies but never made its way out of bounds number 20 with a touch there Keegan dunigan sends it over py paty tried to get that one up Joe prell's got it now he using his body sends it over here got to send him oh that was a great ball right down the sidelines just get shielded by the beler toown player and it makes its way out of bounds for a beler town throwin little substitution here for beler toown giving number two a rest and putting number 17 up top East Long Meadow throwing in number 20 Keegan dunan making a run here a really good throw in there oh
020that was good pass Great One Touch great moves yeah that was anticipated though and this yeah this is just that was a good ball oh oh good play it was like a jump up slide over the ball slide down and then got in a little trouble and had to kick it out of bounds good play there by Keegan Keegan dun again got that one off of his body and was able to kind of get out of bounds before Bel town could do anything there's a big throw in there looks like get that one out yeah oh that was good yeah just shielded right yeah very skillful play shielded it while it's made its way out of bounds so that East lto could get a goal kick looks like paty's gonna give this one a ride
021how far you think he's gonna kick it Megan I bet you it bounces at the 45 our 45 or theirs ours well almost 50 yep good call they got to switch the field more yeah that's a great idea how do you what do you think they should how do you think they're going to do that I think they should just kick it kick it to the other side get some action from uh the the little [Music] Wren are there two wrings on the team uhhuh yep what are their names uh I know one's Tyler and the other one's Jackson so we gotta get we try to get the ball over to Jackson yeah I don't know where Tyler is though good play Here by Chase Evans oh Tyler Tyler's up top oh yeah oh now
022it's there he tried to pass it over to Jackson didn't the old brotherto brother connection that would be spectacular to get a brotherto brother goal that would be great [Music] yeah it seems like you know the earlier game we called they had prel up top the entire kind of almost the entire game this game they looked like they had Tyler Wren up top yeah and and they moved uh they had moved presel sort of to I don't know if it's a Midfield spot but somewhere else and this game it seems like it's a little different I know and they probably adjusted because last belter town I'm pretty sure they lost three- Z and so they're probably adjusting [Music] something oh good stop there fancy oh hit him there it is there's Jackson right that was
023a good Ball kicked out of bounds by beler Town East meow gonna get a throw in a plethora of Subs is number 19 Philip makes his way in along with number eight Jack Walsh getting back into the game looks like Jackson's coming out along with uh number three Zack Richards going to get a little break it's thrown in here nice down low oh oh field goal side field goal but a good try there by good idea yeah good idea tried to swing that one into the middle so that somebody could either get a head ball on it or get a a body on it it's always a good idea when you're on the sideline like that and you're kind of covered just to throw it into the middle and hope for the best see what
024happens beler Town gonna get a kick here looks like everybody clears out it's bat it up we just got to be first we got to get in front of the ball yeah that's what I say oh Joe's going go Joe oh that oh that was really cool that was unbelievable that was really freaking cool oh my God that was a perfect ball yeah it was close right very close just kind of that was close I mean it was some I know that was fancy footwork absolutely I mean great ball control great footwork right on the sidelines at one point there I thought it was going to go you know take it out of bounds or anything but he just was really like a tap dancer over there with that ball yeah here comes Bel town
025down the sideline py paty's gonna Shield that and he does I mean he's just such a lethal defender back there he's so big he's so strong he's so fast so experienced yeah I mean it's just such an asset to have I know center backs need to be strong well East Meadow certainly has that that was a really good kick yeah there is that was the other 45 yeah Jack Walsh has it Gojo that was some good defense good slide tackle yeah they you know presno is really fast number eight was kind of stayed right there St stayed right there with him mhm going to get a sub as Tyler Wren gets a little break played through here's prels got it again oh that was I don't think you can say that wasn't a penalty that
026was a knockdown and a and a two-handed push I know he was trying to take them on three onone I mean they really were all over him there yeah good play here by the goalie switch fields so far honestly I'd say Megan and I know we're almost halfway through the we're a little bit more than halfway through the first half 16 minutes and 20 seconds remaining but East Long Meadow I think so far at least has really had the you know you weren't here but beler toown had one really a decent opportunity py was able to get in the way of it and really stop a a potentially great shot from happening but other than that the game has been on at least on the offensive side has been mostly dominated by East Long Meadow
027and I I really think I don't didn't see the last game but this game they're really dominating the middle of the field and for the most part they have been first to the ball right I mean that is a absolute bomb of a kick [Music] oh oh he's got to pass it he's going to oh that was a good pass maybe a little too much there a lot of people on him oh just maybe can he keep it in he does he keeps it in bounds flips it over oh makes his way through flip oh my god oh just a too hard of a touch right there by number 20 Keegan dun again but you can see it's just so hard right now for Belchertown to find her find their way out oh that's some
028good passing oh just missed its way through I mean if the Belcher Town orial Defender didn't stick out his left leg there it was going to be prel one-on-one with the goalie some great touch passing between all of the East Long Meadow offensive players challenges it gets put into prel prell's got it he passes it over to number three number three has it lets it go through prel has it not sure what he's going to do with it he gets double team they're all double team but there's a lot of them over there it's four on two prel loses it there but they're able to maintain possession again that was good they keep it in they're switching fields bringing it around they're going to come back here comes Chase Evans to the middle not the
029best of passes there though because great head ball it was yeah they're still they're still dominating play right now oh that was a great ball good shot yeah good shot good moves there deflected good moves by Jack Welsh Jack Walsh and presel seem to have some connection yeah some like brotherly love going on out there they're doing a lot of quick passes to each other I mean they should maybe they should hug it out get a little get a little hug or something get some team camaraderie going they're playing very settled though yeah I mean it's good not a lot of in the air besides when Bel toown kicks it oh that was some great footwork yeah I mean oh yeah that was good oh good try there by number three Zack Richard just a
030little bit just a little bit [Music] off GNA have another shielding play here and it is shielded another good defensive play by an East Long Meadow Spartan here we go again a plethora of Subs as prel comes out and number seven Tyler wrin comes in and a high five as the Spartans are going to get a goal kick right now couple more subs for East Long Meadow getting ready to come back in Adam olivary and I keep saying Adam olivary but it's not Adam it's Andrew oliv why are you saying Adam I think I know when Adam oliv might be dad oh it's just kind of how it happens but I'll tell you what if he scores I'll get his name right how about that okay he's got to score otherwise I'm just going to
031keep calling him Adam until he scores I think that's fair it's okay at the Westside game they called him will Fox the whole time yeah that was probably me too you know why I will tell you want to know why it's because when we look at the roster we pulled a roster off of online off of arbiter live there's two there's two number five and so I didn't know them at the time well no I'm talking about the away game you weren't commentating oh well that's why too because they you pull the roster off of arbiterlive.com they have the same number so I think what they need to do is somebody needs to go in and fix it on Arbiter live so that when people are printing out the rosters they can't get the name
032wrong not sure who called the timeout there but we're going to have a timeout little delay they're going to get some water rally the troops what goes on in a little timeout like this Megan what's the coach usually talking about well if the other team calls it normally you don't talk about anything well my team doesn't at least you just get some water take a break maybe high five your teammates yeah referees getting a little break standing in the middle of the field I see Mark macarini down there with his Spartans lacrosse sweatshirt on I haven't seen that look that type of sweatshirt before it's probably from like Rex's generation yeah his son I see I see Diane down there looks like she's got a dunk her coffee got a little Dunkin Donuts looks like
033that's all [Music] done yeah it looks like that timeout must have been called by Belchertown I wasn't paying attention at the time but um I can see Zach their coach over there he's still kind of barking out orders and I think he saw what we saw that really it the game was really being dominated by East Low I mean so far beler toown hasn't been able to do nothing and really for the last seven or eight minutes it has been all Easton medal the balls barely made its way past the 50 yard line and when it did it was immediately into the possession of East Long Meadow so not that I'm anxious to see it but I'm interested to see if belard Town makes any changes or if the game Flow or the momentum changes
034as a result of that timeout I mean look over here you can see the Belchertown coaches are huddling up trying to come up with a plan and a strategy well it didn't happen right away I can tell you that just kind of kicked down the sidelines off of a belter toown player out of bounds eam meow going to get a throw [Music] in it's an East medal player has to run all the way down the sidelines to chase that one down without field help gonna get a big throw in here we do oh that was a good pass good pass back to Shay McCarthy McCarthy has it number five oliv tries to too much yeah tried to get that through to a cutter good play there by number six Shane Smith to cut through there
035Here Comes Jack wall she's flying down the sidelines making all sorts of moves keeps it in bounds gets it again to to Smith Smith to olivary olivary back to Smith it's just out of bounds Jack Walsh tried to keep it in it just kind of made its way out of bounds good play it's I'll call it it's booted up good stop there by number four Mogan Mogan sends it out pass just got it off great pass out wide slows it down takes it to the middle moving is grooving a good one touch there another one and this one's going to get sent wide it's settled back but nobody everyone was running towards the goal oh boy here oh little curve to it almost in Shane's got it oh a Bad Touch there though by Shane
036Smith just a little bit little bit too much and it makes its way out of bounds seeing a lot of play on this side of the field though Megan I think you did call it eventually they've got to really switch Fields right yeah get the ball onto the other side if they can you're seeing here anytime the balls in the air so far eastl Meadow has just been first to it MH number seven Tyler Wren sends it on a long journey over good touch there moves it down the sidelines using speed sending it back a good play there fire and out of bounds really good possession there Megan yeah that was a very good possession lot of good touches some good opportunities number 19 philli comes out of the game gonna get a corner kick
037yeah oh too much just you know it's just one of those his moment is a good play in terms of the way it was working but he's running backwards as he's kicking forwards and that's going to cause that ball to go up high like that and there's not a lot of pace on it I would have liked to see on that set play there that he kind of maintains possession of it maybe swings it back around but if you're going to take a shot from that distance you got to have your weight going forward I think in order to have a really effective shot ball comes out about the 50 yard line and there it is again it looked like two players going up for it for the most part Islam Meadow was first to
038it but yeah it's going to get called the other way possession East Long Meadow 7 minutes and 42 seconds remaining this is going to get thrown into Mogan who was calling for it it gets headed back to paty Pat's got it again out of bounds off of an oral a big throw there over the [Music] top just kind of gets booted up touch here wal oh he's going to overlap oh wal had it had it oh that was almost uhoh a big Collision both players kind of went for that one I'm not sure maybe a little undercutting there by number 24 Shay McCarthy but they were both going in for and there's you know again right there just a harmless shot from so far out you gotta you know belr toown hasn't had that many
039opportunities they probably should have slowed that one down set it up and got more of that lofting ball feed as opposed to the ball [Music] shot oh great play there Shan ol has it now it's Anna prel who's making his way through switching Fields number seven Tyler Wren to Samir Samir has it a tough touch there little Rin to Samir tried to get it to Samir and Samir gives a headbutt shoulder butt butt butt and push down and down goes the orial they're going to get a free kick down in their own Zone the ball is still moving it looks like it's just stopping now it gets black fasted as far as the eye can see molan was first to touch it Samir sends that one wide right and out of bounds Samir Khan number
040nine the right back as the Orioles continue to make substitutions that's a good pass there smear Khan right there again ball's in the middle of the field just a blind pass a tough one there by Jack Walsh it just came off of his body a little bit too far that was good head balls going to jump up there headed a little bit in the wrong direction there Samir Khan gets it I mean I will say that starting some I have seen some changes oh the Miranda good pass there oh a good opportunity I mean that was a good through ball for Tyler Wren there good try there by Mogan their whole they were doing ring around a Ros holding each other's hands 0 4 minutes remaining in the first half beler Town GNA get another
041kick here this one can't reach so it's going to get kind of lofted up that's kind of that's a little bit better of a ball there but again it just makes its way all the way through with nobody touching it that really that really can't happen at least the lights working for this game yeah the big shout out to the eastl meadow DPW killer kick he's just got a bomb of a kick I mean this is a problem this is a problem almost a problem right there because he's able to kick it so far yeah big shout out to Eon me DPW and the staff here at eam medal high school for getting the lights back working again there were some minor technical difficulties the last couple of nights o almost a really good a
042really good aggressive play over there they're bodying up here there's wrin got it some good footwork he's moving his way should hit the open player and he did it's fired again Ball's got some spin on it oh yeah good try there try to do a little 360 spinner but some really good aggressive play by East Long Meadow all the players right there number eight Jack Walsh started it with getting his foot in the way of a bomb Kick looks like that one's going to make its way out of bounds for an eastlon Meadow throwi in you said the score of the last time they played Megan was three nothing belter toown I believe so I know that belter town won I believe that was the score but I'm not 100% [Music] [Applause] sure oh boy
043that's [Music] dangerous not sure if that's going to be a corner kick or a penalty corner all right he would have blew the whistle if it was a penalty that is a good point Megan and that's why we need players up here in the booth who know oh boy it's nice to have you thanks Dad no problem here it comes this is really this is really beler Town's best opportunity of the Night by far going to get an opportunity on a set play and they absolutely botch it a horrible corner kick I mean right to the goalie right on the goal line oh that was a great oh he slowed him down he still got it though yeah this is good this is good ball movement here back to Shay on Andrew it's yeah they
044they oh h ah bad oh I don't know it did look like it did look like he didn't mean it was momentum was going yeah I mean but then it was an obstruction really right slow down the potential Counterattack by belur toown so I mean we call that I mean that's a good penalty I guess 3 seconds left and they screwed that opportunity yeah they really did that was a bad another bad free kick oh oh that was interesting paty just lets it go through his legs this one just gets kicked up harmlessly and Megan we're going to have the end of the first half we're going to take a little break with the score 0 belur toown Orioles versus eastl Meadow Spartans at we'll be back in 10 minutes yep [Music] all right folks
045we are back for the second half of action going to be starting here and give or take 30 seconds or so after a 10-minute break the fans have fueled up on the snacks from the concession stand with the popcorn and the Gatorades and the sodas and the candy kids are all fired up the East Long Meadow students section is standing up and screaming as loud as they can looks like there's going to be a social media post down there from macarini EO gonna get the ball to start the second half and my co-host Megan morto is going to try to take on the play byplay portion of the announcing and I'm going to try to do a little bit of the analyst piece we're going to see how this goes so Megan the call of
046the game is now yours thank [Music] you okay look like got past Zach out wide to Jack oh Jack makes a good move goes [Music] out oh oh that was good down to the corner back up to the middle switches it that was a good [Music] [Applause] switch oh just loses it Bel town has it good interference from oh big push yeah look like a little trip right there Megan I saw that trip eastl medow GNA get a fans are going crazy yeah look down there you gotta kind of see what's going on they got somebody down below doing a like a left right left right big chant see athletic director McGee down there just making sure everything's on the koser goes who's Joe's taking it oh it's a beauty oh that's a great kick
047oh oh oh oh my God just missed it little left little left nice low shot Goes To the Left Post Megan and just goes a little bit wide I know okay I don't even looks like it's going back to Nolan Bel Town's hunting that ball down though oh good Shield okay looks like Nolan's giving it off to paty to kick it up oh stepping on my cord oopsies another fantastic kick from paty oh oh wonder what happened there got pushed in the back yeah it looked like a push from behind in the back I'm actually a little surprised Megan that the referee didn't uh didn't let that play through because is Isam medal maintained possession haty heads it oh that was a great head ball right to Shane's feet out wide it's Jack Walsh down
048is Samir Khan sme's got it far right oh he crosses it in Joe's gonna chase that down Joe prel is gonna chase that down oh back to back to prel is he gonna shoot it oh you should have shot it smear Khan cross back can't see who that is but looks like Joseph molan oh Andrew fakes him out crosses it with his left foot oh Zack Richards just misses it for the touch in and we got no one far right to save it yeah so that ball will be belter Towns now yeah really good opportunity great move down the sideline there by Adam oliv made a good cross and just uh almost Zack Richard almost had it right yep just and draw very close though paty paty has it to the middle pressel's got it
049oh just interfered by belter town oh fancy footwork back to olivary crosses it in another great cross just blocked shoots with the left foot and just wide right yeah Zack Richard right there had an opport had an opportunity as well just kind of put it down and didn't get enough wood on that foot to make it effective enough shot he certainly was in position to do it he made a great trap play he did take his time settled it down but at the end of the day just didn't get quite enough on that one not enough oomph yeah I think if they keep giving him opportunities like that eventually he is going to put one in the back of the net yeah they're going to get Zach huh that's interesting [Music] whoa great head ball
050by Shane [Applause] Smith fans are chanting to put Eastwood in he got in the last home game as they were up about five goals maybe more kind of forget oh paty de's got it he boots it up uh Tyler rins chasing it down headed out by Bel toown so that will be Spartan ball looking for that quick ball [Music] oh yeah just not sure about that play there was just kind of kicked into the middle but there was nobody there you got to kind of try to keep your head up Joe's looking for that simple pass Joe prel plays it back oliv has it catching on Andrew Oliver's left foot it looks like oh Oliver's chasing him down get him back oh boy oh boy plays back to McCarthy Zach's got it Joe's got it
051in the middle prels got it he's looking for some options oh belch toown is on him looks like he's triple teamed there couldn't get out of that situation you know I'm sure he wants to try to do something but there's there were there were three or four people on him there really difficult to make your way through that pack some point you just got to find another foot I know some nice connections here in the middle blocked by beler Town rejected oh whoever that is Boots it up Nan's gonna get that though yeah we're going to get a punt probably oh we don't get a punt just switches Fields I like this play every once in a while maintain possession oh not a good pass right there at all and G to get a little
052Counterattack here by okay noan Nolan still got it [Music] belter towns fighting with the refs did not like that that was not a call yeah you see the belter toown player with their hands up the coach has given a little bit of a shout out to the referee well I didn't really see much there me be honest with you I mean looks like they're looking for some ins yeah I think if you're looking for a penalty like that on kind of like a soft touch this you just got a a bit of a soft team oh boy oh oh we got our head on it yeah that's a makeup call soft call makeup call right there I mean it's not a bad call but it's definitely a makeup call from the screaming and yelling that
053the referees were doing I mean that the coach was doing at the referee a little bit ago I mean let's hope it's harmless this free kick yeah bel's taking it probably going to place it diagonally and let's see Spartan Defense oh headed out by olivary oh oh oh Boot It Out There Goes wretched getting control under it oh Zach just kicks it out to Joe prel PR's going down oh he wants it oh just missed far right great shot though yeah I like that opportunity there he kind of curved it in he was going for the back back far post I mean a textbook in terms of the shot that you want to take he didn't have a lot on it it looked like it did actually get deflected Megan and that's why eastlon Meadow's
054going to get a corner kick off of that yeah I think if it didn't get deflected it probably would have had a little more Spin and probably made its way closer to the goal a left foot here it goes way too long I mean just a wasted opportunity for East Long Meadow that's two Corner kicks really very ineffective just wasted opportunities I just think you got to get that ball a little farther out agreed 10 minutes have left in this second half score score still 0 30 minutes remaining Megan doing a great job on the playby playay thanks all right belter Town's gonna take this goal kick we get AE on it yeah shielded out by belter [Applause] [Music] town oh straight to our backline paty Scully heads it out oh it gets rejected by
055btwn out to Walsh back to the middle good connections here in the middle oh oliv wants it down the line [Music] oh little fake by Jack Walsh and kicked out by Bel toown oh double teamed he gets it out though out to prle into the middle oh oh great opportunity and great turn little far far left a little too much spin on it yeah Tyler Wren with a good kind of quick turn right there and a low riding shot just a little bit wide of the Target right opportunity just a little far oh Bel Shane Smith Oh not Shane Smith Oliver kicks it out making it Bel Town ball give it to their right back into the middle oh good little touch over it's dangerous and kicked out by the Spartans yeah good play there
056by oliv to get back there and yeah get that one before the rather play it safe than risk it looks like they're going to set up here for a big long throwin maybe a somersault throwin Megan or are we just going to have a big long run big long run it is straight into the middle oh God that's dangerous kicked out by the Spartans even though it's a corner it's probably the right decision yeah I mean just really had to just got the got a left foot on it wasn't able to swing it up the field it went off a little bit of the shin almost belter town going to get a chance here and not that I'm rooting for it but I they need to do better job than they did last time if
057they want to put this one in the net you can't just kind of kick it short side directly to the goal Le I know didn't work they're going to have to get it out and they this one's a much better spot there oh headed out by Shane Smith great head ball Spartan's trying to get it up quick while the defense is off guard oh Tyler's running he's H he got it oh not straight to Bel toown I'm gonna put that down as one put that down is not a great pass oh Spartans are not too happy about that goal yeah it didn't look like much there Zack Richard wasn't really doing anything but got called for it beler toown getting this free kick almost in the Box I mean Spartans are doing a very good
058job at their defensive end they're really keeping it out and playing the safe route it's going to be a goal kick goal kick is number 20 Keegan dunigan makes his way into the game along with number 11 Chase Evans taking out Samir and I believe Andrew ol smeir Khan and Andrew oliv so Keegan dunan in for oliv it's really had a great game tonight so far ol very back there on defense yeah he's been holding down the fort holding down the fort but also making his way on in the offensive end on the overlaps making his way kind of down the sidelines and really doing a spectacular job on the offensive side of the ball too he's really fed some oh playing calm oh that that that wasn't very uh calm no that seemed Rush
059there by Chase Evans not sure where he was sending it but there's that was a great head ball right to Tyler's feet oh he's got it he's got it oh good play there by Tyler wring with some good fancy footwork up came in great footwork by Chase Evans gets deflected by Bel toown got to play a little quicker oh and gets it down to Zach Zach passes it in Joe prel sorry oops prell's got it pass oh selected by belter town uh oh Keegan dunan making his way back back to Gara he boots it up kind of just kicks it almost makes it way to Joe but belter Town intercepts oh Shane's got it working Shane Smith's got it working with prel and booed back up to Nolan Nolan gska goalie having a great game
060tonight oh uhoh that was dangerous there it didn't make its way in the air that one could have been a one-on-one with the goalie oh belter Town misses it oh stays with it though oh paty's got it simple pass to Ryan koua oh little physical action play here play through the back [Music] line prels got it pass wide back to this defense playing it safe switches to field oh kol is wide open oh does a move gets down the sidelines almost crosses in Chase saves it Evans Zach's got it at his feet trying to make his way through doesn't work out Chase Evans passes to the left side prels got it takes a shot oh just over yeah some really good possession right there by EO holding on to the ball Megan I mean they
061really been dominating play this entire game the ball has been their offensive zone first half and almost all of this second half same thing it's been all eastlon Meadow they've done everything right except put one in the back of the net yep just haven't got a great opportunity since I've been here kind of shooting it around Defenders rather than getting by them oh good good passing oh we stay with it Kola got it looks like an intentional Miss to get it to the outside it was oh it's got an open shot pass it w oh probably should have passed it wide there clol as was wide open oh no that is dangerous that is very oh paty paty saves it paty D goie big save Evans has it at his feet oh right back to
062belter town oh boy oh looks like a yeah really dang a twoand push on the defense over there yeah really dangerous playing right there that could have been belard Town's one counter attack opportunity but py py kind of saved a day at least once on that possession yeah and kind of here they here they come again uhoh that was a great slide tackle molan I believe or was it McCarthy sh McCarthy think that was M that was McCarthy I believe yeah Shan McCarthy that was a goal saving slide tackle well we do have some interesting confrontation going on in the stands Megan I don't really want to drag on it but the the JV team for Belchertown just kind of by accident I just they just didn't know but they're sitting on the East Long
063Meadow side of the stands and that you can hear the eastl meow students are are really getting rowdy as a result so you can see oh now they're leaving see we're going to get they're just going to go to the other side that's all and I think that's probably the best thing to do otherwise is you know it can get a little Rowdy um so they're just moving to the other side and keep things in control I haven't seen anything too crazy but uh you know it's a good move it's a good move yeah makes sense yep so they're on the other side we got the game going on which has been dominated by saved by Nolan bouncy save uh oh boy almost the same punt as last time yeah another low liner but eam
064Meadow maintains Possession looks like number eight Jack Walsh had it coming down his Sidelines Flex back to Spartans cross it to Evans so great great head ball into the middle oh if he if if he' just let that one go through it might have got to the offensive player if the wing ran around kept moving he almost jumped over almost jumped over ph up Shane passes out Jack Walsh shame Smith to Jack Walsh yeah oh belter Town intercepts yeah oh [Music] goodness thank you that's that's a little bit of a crazy take but yeah I didn't see that either on I didn't really see a penalty over there it just looked like they were kind of bumping into each other but belard Town it looks like is now going to get an opportunity for a
065set play right at about the you know 10 yard line or so this ball's in a really good position to cross one in the middle and get AE on it it's probably going to be difficult to save he just played it too far though oh oh go oh just gets dicey I mean you don't try not to head that ball back into the middle of the field there but that was dangerous gonna get a sub Shay McCarthy with that great slide tackle earlier to save a beler town player from darting down the sidelines [Music] got it in our back line out is he going to pass it over oh passes it back down little overlap from the defense oh oh just misses it Zach gets a foot on it o Tyler just loses it Chase
066has got it oh oh he's got it down the sidelines trying to make make his way through and a little bit of a pansy push of a shot yeah a little the goalie left footer kind of didn't get enough on it kind of bounced it into the ground a pretty easy save there for Belchertown oh that was interesting yeah I don't know what kind of trap play that was there by Tyler rechen tuck jump oh that's going to be a whistle yeah yeah no contact I mean no contact with the ball I'd like to say that one wasn't obvious but yeah I'd be lying I know it was a straight out push right in the back at about the 20 at about the 35 yard line looks like they're going to try to sneak an
067extra five yards out of that and they do another kind of dangerous spot here cuz it's going to be swinging in with a right-handed draw that one's just a little too far no's got it though clean save yeah and a bad kick yeah just a bad free kick I mean when you're when your team's hunting it down trying to get a head on it oh right right to Joseph molan back to chase Evans out to the side to prel presel is looking for way through looking for some options doesn't have many and is out on Chase Evans getting some subs coming in the game yep bringing back to samiran Samir Khan and Oliver's back in the game as [Music] well oh almost hit the kid with crutches on the sidelines yeah knocked him right down
068you don't want to do that beler Town's got two players on crutches on the sidelines yeah oh good touch by Bel toown Oh Oh I thought that was pretty clean that was that was a very controversial call that was all ball stepped his foot in I believe he tripped over the ball uhoh that was almost a goal we managed to get it out Nolan with a good uhoh oh no this is not going as planned that was a lot of action down there it was Bing Bang Boom it actually looked for a minute there like the goalie was too far out of the goal and may have had a handball I know I think we're going to have to go back and check that one with about 12 minutes and 30 30 seconds remaining in
069the game we'll get that clip tomorrow and see if the goalie was outside of the box and the referee didn't see it otherwise that would have been a tremendous opportunity for Belchertown with a free kick at about the 18 yard line I love the aggressive play by Nolan garsa but he almost got himself in trouble right there Megan morno is gonna take a quick break in the action with 11 minutes remaining she'll be back in short order this one's played up by Samir Khan it's now in the middle of the field Tyler Wren has it it's played back Wren has it again it's played to the sidelines kicked out of bounds by beler toown it's going to be a throwin for East Long Meadow as number 24 sha McCarthy makes his way back into the
070game coming out is philli K dick Mr Khan throwing it in number seven Tyler Wren has it looks like gets kicked over and a little kick again that one there was a little bit more of a clear penalty by Samir Khan kind of just lifted the leg up got a little obstruction there you see number two hobbling with maybe slight little Charlie Horse there with a knee to the thigh gonna get a free kick from Fairly far away here so probably no harm in that penalty and just kind of slow down the orial offense this one's kicked in and actually number two is going to come out of the game going to be replaced by number 23 he's got a really just kind of got kneed in the thigh so it's probably like a bruise
071and a charlie horse just going to have to take a little bit of time off and walk it off see Diane the trainer heading over there [Music] looks like same kick same result number three Zack Richard has it sends it down you see prel using all of his speed to get down the sidelines going to try to take somebody on oneon-one sends it into the middle good try there it's kicked out looks like Bel Town's going to go for it two players Collide and a really good play there number 17 has it right now Joe molan has it it's going to be a low lining shot and oh a good save there came off the chest an opportunity for Easton meow there was just nobody there for the rebound but what a low lining shot
072the best opportunity of the night so far eastl metal dominating possession there's oliv again with that left footed swinger as he tries to get it a little bit more into the middle but it didn't happen the belard toown goalie gets the save nine minutes and 30 seconds remaining belur town has been hanging on quite frankly for dear life all game long [Applause] little nutmeg there number seven has it again wrin playing it back to paty paty has it over to oliv oliv has it he's coming using his speed he's coming up the middle gets it out wide beler Town Defender gets in front Elam medal maintains possession temporarily that's a good ball there a beautiful feed up the sidelines good shielding by Islam Meadow then it makes its way out of bounds as Megan morno
073makes her way back into the booth while you were gone eam meow had a tremendous opportunity a really good low lining shot it went right into the goalie's chest and it bounced out with a rebound but nobody was home for eam meow to drive it into the back of the net oh good play here great ball Tyler wrin going right to his feet prels got it plays it right through that a beautiful um sequence oh my oh my God and there it is again oh my God no one is there very similar type of play Megan except the last one went off the goalie's chest it was a much harder shot but but it's clear to me that this the goalie is having a little bit of technical difficulty on the lower shots I guess
074so keeps it in bounds that's a handball I think so whoa that's a that's a bold call no hand that was right off his hand yeah it did look like it went right off the hand but Easton meow's going to get a corner kick with seven minutes remaining here they've got to do something this cannot get too close to the goalie you got to get out sort of towards the penalty area or at least at the top of the goalie box get some tall players in there I see paty's made his way from the back to the front this one is in a good spot oh my God how is there no one on the back pose that's just like that's just like common soccer sense all right well somebody could have been there but
075it was a good corner kick there got it into the right spot somebody from East laow was aggressive got their head on it it just didn't make its way in if somebody was in the back post it would have been a delicious little treat for them to tap in the goal but it didn't happen this one comes out good play here the backline keeping it good Play Tyler wrin has it oh just got it off didn't get to it yeah that one went off kind of like it went off the tip of the toe and just didn't get the spin that he was looking for to make that yeah make that perfect pass connection it's picked up there I'll let you make the call Megan great punt by Nolan looks like he got his groove
076[Music] back py just kind of kicks it to the basically the JV belter toown team right in the stands making sure that ball is far out of bounds yeah it gives eam Meadow a chance to reset up its defense yeah you don't want to give up a cheap one at this point looks like number two for belshire town is going to make his way back oh they're trying to get flops I believe [Music] number six on belter town almost jumps right on top of prell's shoulders oh Khan's got [Music] it oh Tyler rchen has it f for that ball oh oh oh that was a good ball right PR's feet PR's got it he's gonna take it oh wren's got it wren's got it [Music] oh oh right right fi oh boy such great passing
077and Foot Skills up front and then kind of an open shot at the top of the 18 Megan and what happened there just leaned back too much went right over you know we've seen the goalie have some technical difficulties with the last two saves on the low ball I think I would have liked to see how kind of the the hard low shot there almost back to the back line oh right to prel prell's gonna turn same play we got the same play oh my God on who looks like yellow card looks like a yellow card on prel must have been something off the ball that happened oh God so prel is gonna get a I did not see that I didn't either we were kind of following the ball in the play as number
07817 Joe Mogan was taking the ball down the sidelines we didn't see it so oh yellow card on two players 10 and three Joe presel and Zack Richards come out with the yellow card yeah you don't see the captains and Shane Smith is still on the field the third Captain but you don't see that too often I'm not really sure what happened there's only have to go back and look at it on the replay with I know you know 3 minutes and 40 seconds remaining we'll see if we can find that I really didn't see much going on cuz we weren't watching it so it's all softball stuff and it does not look like coach is going to put them back into the game they are on the sidelines I'm not sure if they got
079red carded or what the deal is here Megan I know normally you'd see those captains thrown back into the game but either coaches really upset with what happened and maybe rightfully so coach probably had a better look at it and saw it than we did so we'll see oh shoot look are you blind yeah I can't see anymore you know I'm old so I can't see your messages so you know we'll see here two minutes and 45 seconds remaining East lto has absolutely dominated this game and it would be it would be a it be it would be a victory it would be an absolute victory for Belchertown to get out of here with a tie I mean just a ton of opportunities for East Long Meadow and just nothing to show for it on
080the scoreboard at the end of the day two minutes and 20 seconds remaining it's clear like belard toown is taking as much time as it possibly can I know there trying to wait out the clock throws it in as far as they can down the sidelines goes out of almost out of bounds it does go out of bounds the coach is actually calling for them to speed up their play I think coach wants to see if they can kind of put one in the back of the net that's a high foot there good call by the referee eastl meow has it I take their time oliv is going to take his time leave it for paty to send it paty di scy sends it all the way down to the top of the 18 and
081oh headed good try there you saw two players from Isam medal making their way must be a little hard because I know that prel and Richard are definitely key players to this Spartans offense it's tough to lose two of those players here at the end of the game I [Music] know one minute remaining this is going to be a very deflating z00 tie with Belchertown I know that they Megan you mentioned that Belchertown took him took him last time three nothing oh he got [Applause] Meed oh that was almost fantastic footwork he got it off just Evans couldn't get it back to the top couldn't get a shot off goes right through Spartans defense recovers oler kicks it up Evans is now playing in the middle triangle trying to get an offensive look rather than
082defensive yeah 15 seconds remaining doesn't look like looks like it's going to be a very disappointing tie for Islam meow and and a very successful one for Belchertown it just got dominated tonight oh good try there as Mogan made his way in z00 tie Megan great doing the game with you tonight great job on the play byplay I will see you next time okay goodbye
