your service to our country we now invite everyone to stand as we honor America with the plane of our national [Music] anthem [Music] PR [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] appr good evening everybody Jeff morno here with Jamie Rook from elcat putting on an elcat production of the East Long Meadow girl soccer team the Spartans versus the lllo Lions here on Tuesday September 19th another 7:00 game Spartans looking for their first win of the season have had a bunch of close games a couple of ties but really looking for their first win here in front of the hometown fans the local fans are lined up in the East Long Meadow stands for the first time all season I see some blankets out a couple of winter hats it's 65 Dees expected to get a little bit cooler
as the night go on the lllo lion parents are lined up in front of the concession stand snack down there trying to root on their team behind their bench game is about to get started two40 minute halves East Long Meadow calling out their one two three Spartans and their three claps as they take the field you see the lllo Lions out there at the 40 yard line in a circle just getting their last minute pep talk I'm sure from their captains or co- captains looking forward to a good game tonight um it's a very seems like a very equal matchup when you look at the record and the teams that they've played East Long Meadow I'm not sure whether they want toss or not but they are going to start with the ball we've got
Mack in the middle it's gonna take that sort of first kick probably pass it back and then they'll probably be a boot down the sidelines chase the ball down and the offense will start but we'll see Islam Meadow starting with four people in the back take it back they bring it all the way back to uh to their Captain Lizzie Roman who tries to pass it up it's taken there in the middle looks like Sabina mne's got it little speedy speedy demon over there tried to pass it there to number 14 taking it it's going to get a first opportunity here ball comes in kicked out quick which is a good thing for Islam Meadow that they got it out of the way which was great trying to get it Megan monno over here on
the left wing tried to take that one number three for lllo takes it a little penalty there on number nine Kenna Marino has been a solid Defender all season long for East Long Meadow over there she's going to be on the left side tonight Jillian Stevens GNA take this kick number 13 Last Spartan to score and actually the only Spartan to score a real goal kind of all season long um Ball's paced down there moro's got it on the left hand side she's going to take it she's taking it down to the corner she settles it in tries to power her way through doesn't work looks like that ball is going it's somehow stayed in bounds kind of a miracle there that it didn't uh didn't go the other way Jillian Stevens right on that
knocks it out of bounds slows down the lllo attack got number 12 for the lllo Lions Sophia sorka very good player very strong player been playing soccer for a long time certainly one of the players that the East Long meow Spartans need to look out for ball comes up here it's kind of kicked offensive zone bit of the kick and run soccer lllo plays it harmlessly back to the goalie being chased there a little bit by Mack Mack slows down gets back over to the left Defender that's a good ball there a little bit over the top kind of covered there by Caroline lucich hustles back with some great defense using her body in position to get that ball out of bounds going to be a l low throw in ball gets played back bounces
over Mack coming back after it she's chasing it down there in the middle great play there not sure about that play there just kind of booted down to the uh to the end line the goalie picks it up for the lllo Lions and to bring it here to the top of the box they're setting up their offense and it's a big booming kick out to the 40 yard line like number 11 Stevens morno has it now she's got it what's she going to do she's taking it down the left hand side she's trying to use her speed she passes it in good play there it's over to mne mne has it I think is that mne not sure looked like mne but I don't think that that was mne that was number 14 Bella white
little bit hard to tell from up here with the numbers but Bella White had it monno and white were trying to put a little something together number six right there that's mne she's defending number 19 using her body position there to get the lllo lion off the ball Eddie Jordan chasing back here's mne using her speed again and and her body to really position that here comes monno is going to go kind of on the attack she's going to force a pass there it's taken monno has it she's going down the sideline again they're defending she kind of moves it back she's coming to the middle passes it good pass there over to Bella white Bella white with a kind of a looked like she was trying to pass it out wide but kind of
had her head down and it just went right into a l low lion lot of open space here Stevens back ball comes up good play there by Maggie Stevens who last time I was in the announcer Booth really had a great game in the middle of the field especially early on in that matchup it's really kind of controlling the middle of the field for the for the Spartans which was great balls played out there it's kicked up by kicked up by Stevens then toor morno monno kind of plays it down not really a great pass there was looking for Mack Mack either didn't you know needed to make either a quicker cut or need to be a little better pass there's some really good ball skills there number 12 turns it onto her left foot
Sophia sorka shoots It harmlessly Wide of the goal goalie retrieves it it'll be an East Long Meadow goal kick Jillian Stevens going to take this goal kick looks like it's probably going to come out here to monno if she can get it out there and she does morno is going to try to settle it down not a really good trap there by monno but she almost saved it goes out of bounds it's going to be a white throw good throw in there good body position o got passed good play there's Stevens again Stevens has it just not a good pass there just went to right to a lllo lion Mack chasing the ball down Bella white and monno coming after it they do good pressure there by monno and Mack they had some really good
pressure on the ball which was good another we saw this last game though we saw a lot of throwin in the last home game that we had I would call it an excessive amount of throwi inss against Westside seemed like every three seconds I was saying somebody was throwing it in so see if we can keep the ball both sides can kind of getting chased here I like this play by oh Addie Jordan with a good move it's still moving and Max got it she's gonna play it great Foot Skills there here comes morno with a shot and a good save there and was being followed in by Addie Jordan if the goalie didn't put both hands on that one it was going to be a slam bam direct shot into the back of the
net by Eddie Jordan good good offensive possessions there I really like the Foot Skills that Mack had on the ball there in the middle of the field snuck it back to morno who snuck through with a left footed shot here's Stevens again chasing that down in the middle of the field along with mne using her speed really slowing them down here it comes great play there by Jillian Stevens using her height to get that head on the ball and head that one out of the defensive Zone good play there comes Addie Jordan putting some pressure on using her speed her strength her skill taking that ball using her power taking it right down the line here taking it back using her left foot gets it across monno has it she takes it she turns good
defense there by the lllo Lions it's going to be a throw in for E meow great play down the sideline there by Addie Jordan really using her using her body and her speed and her strength to out muscle the lllo lion Defender down the right hand side and was able to create an almost opportunity for the Spartans this one here goes kind of harmlessly out of bounds it's played as a goal kick to the side not sure who kicked that one whether that was monno or whether that was somebody on the other side I like this play here good play by Stevens again was able to get that ball off of a Le L lion Defender and out of bounds it's thrown in here Bella white kind of getting bodied a lot of Body Action
there Bella good Play She swings that one up good play by low it's bouncing around played up nicely good play by Kenna Marino to get that here comes morno she's taking it down the sideline she's going to have to use that left foot and swing it in there she takes it with the right foot foot and she takes a shot off the post what a great shot there really good opportunity by morno it's swung in again there's Max she's using her power to get through ball in the Box knock down no penalty good play there almost snuck that one past Jillian Stevens but Jillian Stevens used their body to slow up that L lion Defender so that the ball was able to just sneak back there into the box goalie retrieves it no harm no
foul touched out of bounds on the sidelines by Junior Addie Jordan lllo lion GNA get a throw in really good opportunity there a couple minutes ago there by monno she took took the ball down the sidelines had a right- footed shot hit the post and really another millimeter or two lower probably is a bar down and in the goal rebound was challenged by the lllo Lions and then harmlessly kicked out middle of the field here this one's being chased by Stevens ball comes up to number three good play looks like a that was a good set play here gonna oh reaching and a shot and a good save by the goalie shot there by number 10 from lllo Elizabeth BRZ with the shot a big booming kick headball by Stevens who's defending and then launched
out quite frankly by Kenna Marino Addie Jordan using her body getting a little bit of a push there surprised they didn't let that one play on a little bit but it's okay hudlow's going to get a free kick at about the 45 yard yard line 29 minutes and 30 seconds remaining about 10 minutes has been played both sides have had at least one or two decent opportunities this one's just kind of kicked into the middle it's batted out Borno has it little bit of a too hard of a pass there back to Marino but it's kind of harmless at this point nobody's there she just kind of boots it up to nothing Bella white has it using her foot skills that she that she has morno is going to provide a little jogging Chase down
you got Mack who's absolutely sprinting down and putting some pressure on now you have Addie Jordan there very close almost took it away now there's lot of Green Space here for a lot of Green Space there for lllo kind of playing the middle of the field you can see Stevens there really trying to control that middle of the field make sure things get slowed down here comes number 10 she's using her speed down the sideline Stevens has it she kind of curls it in oh good stop there launched out morno passes great pass there really like that pass to mne using her speed almost got that one through a little more power on that one and it goes through probably to Jordan good block again this one's going to be of harmlessly kicked it looked
like number 19 was trying to float that one into the middle to give Easton Meadow an I mean lllo an opportunity in the middle but it went off the side of her foot down and kind of harmlessly to uh to the eastlon medal goalie good play here back to marino marino taking it that was a little good shoulder play nice I like that play by Stevens and Jordan's right where she likes to be here on the outside where she can use her speed and her power and her strength she brings it in looks like Max's GNA get it it's kicked back over here it comes again little headball not sure what was going on there thought Jordan might have could have come back for that one perhaps and now we're going to get really this
looks like an opportunity for lllo someone coming along the outside here nobody's got it this is going to be another wide open here oh good save that one's going to go actually off of lllo if it makes its way out of bounds it does it's going to be a East Long Meadow throwin we had a little bit of standing around there on that last possession by lllo the middle of the field it was a little bit of watching what was going on you saw the lllo Lions you know continuing to move a lot of off ball movement that's not sure what happened there it looked like a trip but I'm not that's going to be a goalie ball good play there by Jillian Stevens to kind of roll it on through and protect the ball
and the defender it's kind of booted out here we go Mack has it she's going to put it on her she traps it between her thighs it's over to Bella white Bella white bombs it down the sidelines Here Comes Jordan using her speed she's going to keep that one in you got mat coming up there it looks like it's a about a five on three another opportunity here she's going to go right she boots it in it's blocked out it's passed it's passed back and that is a great shot right there I like that shot Stevens with a good shot from the 20 yard line ball was passed out to her nicely there by Addie Jordan ball was on the ground low and Stevens took a good swipe at it just went a little bit
wide going to be a goal kick for the lllo Lions oh that one sneaks out of bounds it's going to be a corner kick opportunity for the Lions here offensive opportunity for sure good chance you can see that the the lllo team is very fast they've got great ball possession they really they're really passing the ball and taking their time in the Midfield that B's kicked out a little bit too far but it is it is grabbed good defense it's just kind of banged out now it's banged back number 10 Hazard going to use her oh good play draws it back draws it back again got Speedy Marino on her lets that one go through really like that defense there by lucich to use her body to Shield the lllo defender goalie picks it up
harmlessly a great play to come out of the goal and get it now he just going to kind of bang it up there and try to oh off sides is going to be the call I think that's the right call l l player probably needed to hustle back a little bit after that goal kick this one's going to be taken from the 20 Captain Lizzy Roman to give it a ride looks like maybe she can get it here onto the uh onto the shoe of Bella looks like Bella's kind of open over here and she's got it does she's got great Foot Skills really good control she's an excellent soccer player good play there by Steven stev's in there now we got what we want here Here Comes Bella Bella's got it comes around the
outside just a little bit too far on the outside monno tried to chase it down just didn't quite have the angle like this here Emma sua getting the game replacing Mack in the middle of the field to two of the players on the East Long medal Spartans team with just really good speed and really really good Foot Skills like to see that see them in the middle of the field here's number that Ball's out of bounds there we go I'm not sure going to have a little controversy here in the stands about what went on there I guess we're going to have I don't know if this is a penalty or what happen but uh clearly they're going to get a kick it was right in front of us but we couldn't really see what
happened it's blasted up off the head into the middle of the field it comes out morno has it she saves it she's gonna send it down it's off of a knee it's off of a shoulder and then in a foot looks like it's going to be settled down lllo has it passes it to the outside little over the top tap Foot Skills there luich chasing the ball down the sidelines still going forcing them into the middle I like the defense Here Comes Bella White's going to try to C come over here and grab it you got Kenna Marino on it forcing them forcing them back good play there by monno and marino marino put the pressure on morno came back and [Music] I don't know about that one there I mean could have taken a
little more space had a two-on-one there with Susa would have looked like if you know mono could have controlled that ball a little bit and got created a little more space Maybe got a through ball there to Susa would have been a two-on-one situation but took a little bit of a far shot maybe next time we'll get a little little bit different result there a little better opportunity I will say it does look like you know from the last game that I was announcing to this one it really does look like Elon Meadow is on the offensive side of the ball they've changed some personnel and some positioning and it does look to me like it is creating a little better opportunity a little better ball control on the offensive side than they than they've
had they've kind of had in the past and that's good to see some really aggressive playing good step step up there by Lizzie Roman ball comes back it's now just boom Bella White gonna cover that one or is it looks like Bella white not sure if that's stevens or white looks like it's white ball gets played down good play there it's going to roll out of bounds Jillian Stevens had that covered she saw that play developing well in advance and was sliding over there to cover that pass we're almost halfway through the first half about 20 minutes remaining Lizzie Roman going to take the kick here not sure if really looks like they want to get it over here but that's about where you can get it monno almost had it had it taken away
and to come up here ball goes to the middle it's kind of harmless looks like it's kind of moving around chasing it around here good play by Marino used her body gets sent through here here we go this is the one that Jordan's been waiting for she's got a little she's got a half step she's going to move it down she's got it in the offensive zone she booms it over monno has it she's gonna stop it she's going to turn it turns the corner still has it looks like it's a four-on-one situation but really probably should have sh shot that one or probably passed it tried to do something maybe when you turned it just kind of good play by Marino Marino's now going to take it down she's going to use her speed
and her Foot Skills a former offensive player no problem there just passes it through to Susa almost got it through a good opportunity there goalie came out and was able to take advantage of it but you saw Susa using her speed and body position to really just try and get right in there a little duck down header good save there not really looks like it's pretty harmless great step up there by Jillian Stevens uses her left foot bashes it up monno has it passes it over passes it back lot of space here lot of space here good through ball just tried to get that one up to Susa it almost snuck through Susa is going to chase this one down mono's moving up the the rest of the offensive team is moving up monno is
just a good pass back there she had a good opportunity good play like this by Bella white Bella white over playing it back again it's Lizzy Roman Roman playing it up good play here here comes a shot that I like right there good play by Addie Jordan used her body got the ball through good ball movement just shot just a little bit wide opportunities are definitely being created here by East Long Meadow in the first half yeah this is a it seems like it's a pretty clear play Here by by llo what they like to do they like to get that they like to get number number 12 heading down the right sideline on a on kind of kind of a long pass to gain control of it but Jillian Stevens has been Jillian Stevens
has kind of been on her all night long so they see that play coming hopefully it doesn't really lead to anything good play there by Kenna Marino to step up on the defense giving a little bit of space Ball's getting thrown they're looking for somebody here it comes it's over the top oh Kenna Marino using her using her height jump up get that one off of her head and save it from kind of going over and into the possession of lllo that one comes off of a shoulder it's kick through little bit of a Mis kick there but no here we go now we've got it and here comes Jordan Jordan's moving she's moving down here comes morno oh almost got in the way of it this could be trouble here if Marino doesn't stop
that one that's the play they like right there they like to get that ball down to number 12 Jillian Stevens has been on it but that's clearly their it's kind of like their quote set play I'd say they like to open up that space get the ball down on the right hand side and then see kind of see kind of what happens from there little push from behind Mack and Marino giving themselves a little high five on that play head coach for the Lions Amanda Nexon assistant coach Jason Caron and first year head coach for the East Long Meadow Spartans head coach Matt moer really finding his way here with the with this East Long Meadow team throughout the season season he's moved players around he's getting used to his team really seems like the
team is progressing and developing as the season goes on assisant Coach Hannah Kazi assistant coach Kim Schwarz and JV coach and father of one of the best soccer players to come out of East Long Meadow Joel ganzer good play there right into the belly of Mack this ball settled down going to have to use some speed and some strength here good play by Stevens to kind of cover that one up Marino hustles back on defense lllo makes a couple of Subs throws it in goes back good play there Alli Thompson has it Alli Thompson kind of had it now number 18 has it going to get a penalty there on Thompson tried to give somebody a charlie horse it looked like got her a little high knee to the thigh number 11 moves it over
looked like number 11 was going to do a pass but is now decided for the for option option A which is oh boy which is a just kind of get it right into the middle here we go and we're going to have a harmless shot there saved by the goalie really good save thing's kind of spread out here it's punted up Mac has it right at her feet good touch there by Mack using her power using her skill she's got some space ooh it's a really good pass there using speed coming down the right hand side Stevens has it kind of Knocked Out of Bounds it's going to be a goal kick Mack had that one there in the middle of the field she really had some space could he I think could have maybe
used a little bit of that speed and space and taken another 10 or 15 yards and move that Islam medal lineup but tried that through ball over down the right hand side and it was chased down with a lot of speed but it made its way out of bounds for a goal kick for lllo lllo really creating the space over here you kind of see this play pretty consistent good attack right there by by Ali Stevens and now she comes back she's putting on the hustle she's this is their play for sure Marino has it uses her power yeah going to try to do the same thing this one's played back good play there by lions Susa chasing it down making the that's a great play play it through play it through she's got it
there it is just a little bit too hard just a little bit too hard a little softer play through Emma sua was looking for that through ball to run on down and try to make something happen just got played a little bit too hard good Chase here Stevens I'm sorry Alli Thompson fresh in the game full of energy comes again that Ball's out of bounds here we go here comes kenam Marino Ken Marino has the ball throw it in Susa oh Susa was wide open over there Stevens has it though getting pushed a little bit but she's got it she's gonna keep it she's going to kick it she's going to kind of get it back kind of makes its way through going to need to chase this one down this also finds its way
out of bounds sus is open and they just can't see her I don't know why but she was there chases it down this one goes over Marino's head that looked to me a little bit like potential handball good play there try to knock it out of bounds by Marino nice to see the East Long Meadow youth out the girls are out again the youth girls are out again which is nice working the sidelines keeping the game Rolling Along at a good Pace good play there oh that's definitely a penalty and we heard some oh Gods screaming from the stands there on that penalty because it was pretty obvious but it was it was called it was called right away referees doing a really good job tonight don't see like they've got anything wrong it's not
an overly physical game unlike the couple of the other games this one's been kind of this one's kind of that's a good ball there this one's kind of been played I'd say you know between the yellow lines there hasn't been a lot of throwin there have been you know some goal kicks and Corner kicks but for the most part this one's been played in the middle of the field it hasn't been too rough no crazy penalties no nothing overly you know no overly aggressive play good play there oh that's got to be a handball though I would just that I'm not sure about that one I think that one might have got missed so let's hope nothing happens here it's not that's going to be a goal kick which is good oh I guess they're
going to call that a corner kick on top of it well just as I was complimenting the referees I'm not so sure about those last two calls it did look to me like a handball back there around the 30 yd line and then this one here hard to tell from where we are cuz it's on the far side of the field but it the ball kind of went straight out of bounds so it was kind of suggested to me that that one went off a Ludo so I'm really hoping nothing kind of crazy happens here it almost did the Lions had a good opportunity must have been some type of penalty maybe an off sides or a push off Slow's going to get a free kick look like Jillian Stevens plays it out over to
very experienced Lizzy Roman who plays it up good touch there this one gets kicked uh we're going to get some substitutes coming in not sure what's happening here you get three or four Subs here for the spark really everybody tonight doing a doing a good job one's working hard both [Music] sides good play there by Stevens that wasn't sure who that was going to go off of she made sure it wasn't going to be a corner kick so kicks it out of bounds kind of harmlessly around the you know around the 10 yard line on the football field which is about about you know I don't know 25 yards from the from the goal kicked out again another throw in is a little bunched up over there on the throwin not going to say that
it looks like ten and under soccer but it's it's it's pretty bunched up over there good play here kind of using some Foot Skills launches that one really good defending there by Marino ball played back oh boy that one was close taken to the outside banged up good Play Over the shoulder chase down this one's getting a little physical there's some pushing and shoving going on now I Addie Jordan gave a just a little bit too much there with the body and the ref was right on top of it and called that one free kick to lllo this one's kind of banged in there good play by Stevens picked up by mne mne over to monno monno has it let's see I'm not sure she's going to be able to chase that one down and
she's not it goes out of bounds number four has it going to throw it over all right good play there by Kenna Marino number nine one looked like a fullon like a almost a oh boy this one sneaks through there's a little opening there for number oh I like that play there good play by white white brings it back it's going to go wide Here Comes wide again Marino protecting ball comes down it's good play boom header header that's three Susa challenging she's got it she's going to take this one in herself take it in she's got it she's going oh opportunity was there a little speed a little just like head that one straight to the goal she's got such great Foot Skills she really challenged that ball got it to bounce forward an
opportunity was created looked like with her foot and her shot her shooting ability just fire one in there good play here Jordan's got it Jordan swings it oh monno probably needed to save that one first and put a little trap on it but she stops it she's going to shoot this one maybe a far post but a good opportunity there she's only at about 10 yard line a good chance got to get that one to the far post it's the best kick of the night for sure right there Jillian Stevens using her head heads it to marino marino has it back to Stevens that's a handball I'm not sure if it's going to get called it did get called ref was looking very good call ref was looking to see if there was possession advantage
and then waited left footed pass there and then bing bang boomed here it comes here it is susa's got it she's going to get it it's coming oh almost another great play by Susa there in the middle just a little bit too hard off of her body by about a millimeter waiting going to get a sub good play getting Mack back in there Susa had some great runs there really some really solid aggressive runs down the middle of the field going to get a little rest here and then get back in there at some point good play I like the physicality I'm seeing a lot more physical lot more physical play out of the Midfield than what we've than what we've kind of seen in the past although this one here we're going to have
to good play oh o oh miscommunication miscommunication good back checking I call it backchecking I'm not really sure what it's called but oh good play there good ball position good positioning by the goalie good save with four minutes left taking your time bombs it out there with a really good kick [Music] out of bounds number five Caroline Lucas's got it she's going to throw it in it goes right into Addie Jordan Addie Jordan has it tried to make a move it didn't work out but the ball did end up out of bounds so it's going to be another East Long Meadow throw in three minutes remaining here in the first half that one oh ball is bouncing around this is what this is this could be hustle back here we're we short one in the
middle of the field right now looks like white got back so now it's undercover ball kind of sneaks through liix got it gets it out of bounds I think that is is going to be a throw in but we're not quite sure yet who's going to get that it looks like it's going to be llo is going to have a throwin way down by the corner kick stick on the opposite side of the field look like everybody's got somebody covered here it's kicked good Play Good Touch oh and this is Mack is move oh just out of bounds Addie Jordan had it she was flying down and she had Mack right there in the middle of the field and she was just about to pass it [Music] there I like that play there there were
a lot of things happening up there I'm not really sure what was going on but the ball was just kind of moving around trying to do something good play there by Jillian Stevens good foot up here comes Megan moro's going to put her head on it comes in here comes another one foot on it here comes white chasing ing it down 30 seconds remaining lllo Lions have the ball down in their offensive zone it comes into the middle kind of harmlessly looks like this first half is going to in all likelihood here end in a tie 20 seconds left there's going to be no rush Jillian Stevens might want to slow this one down just to make sure that there's no shot and that almost led to a disaster um here you got to turn
around and look at the clock make just figure out what's going on there there wasn't much time left medal wasn't going to score but at the end of the first half 0 Lions versus Spartans and we are back eastl Meadow versus lllo girl soccer Tuesday night 65 degrees second half about to start the final 40 minutes in a nil nil game as they say over in England you can see the fans they've got their blankets on they're starting to wrap up their lower bodies it's getting a little bit colder here each and every night the Spartans as I said looking for their first win Megan morno has that ball she's going to power her way through she pushes she shoves and she gets called for a penalty as a second ball comes on to the
field free kick lllo from the 25 yd line on the football field ball gets boomed up it's going to be settled down there by Roman Roman sends it over to Luc casic who settles it down gets it into the middle of the field and that is boomed up into the Spartan bench see Ava men's over there she takes a duck gets out of the way of the Stray ball Spartan youth picks it up throws it over to somebody from low who brings it in and look at that aggressive play by mne head ball there by monno almost a high foot by a lion Mack has it ball comes into the middle of the field Jordan tries to chase it down no go Stevens has it now ball is taken by marino marino has it sends
it up Jordan has it here it looks like a little pressure this looks like a good shot and it's just a bit outside as she tried for her first goal of the season on regular time she currently has the most goals overall she has two penalty kicks on the season goalie going to take the goal kick comes over here to the side number 18 settling it in morno putting some pressure on Bella coming again here it comes monno bodying in ball gets pushed it's taken in number 14 has it that's a really good touch there Here Comes mne mne has it comes over gets taken away white has it lucich has it sends it up moro's going to try to send that one and she does she sends it over to Jordan who's got good
positioning here and then takes a booming shot and again just wide to the right but another opportunity on a kick goal kick lllo so far to start the second half East Long Meadow has kept the ball for the first four minutes or so in the in their offensive zone here we go oh look at this move by oh she kind of got shoved and pushed there I'm not so sure I think that one could have been a little bit of interference monno the ball goes out of bounds gonna get a corner kick here Jillian Stevens coming up from the defensive position morno raises her hand sends the kick in it is a great kick nice and high right at the 6yd line she's got it monno is going to settle it in again she sends
it in again and it's a head goal oh what a shot by Mack off of the top goal post I'm not so sure about that I think that one actually might have hit the soccer goal we're gonna have to check that one on the lcat replay tomorrow after it is uploaded by Jamie and put on to the lcat 01028 website that one looked like it was off the top of the goal but the referee may have seen that one as though it went off of the soccer goal post mono has it here you're not going to get it's looks like there's going to be a lot of Body Action here there's going to be some pushing and shoving and there is monno has it she's going to send this one right in and she does
she gets it up to white white has it ball goes out of bounds it looks like here it's going to go to the side lines and it's going to be thrown in by number five lucich has it gets it to Mac lucich has it swings it over comes to the middle goes through I like this play here it comes to marino marino has it Marino to monno morno has it sends it back she's going to use her left foot she does she tries to sweep it in it's there she has it again it's now on her right foot you're going to get the big cross here and you do it's swung in again it goes wide chase down here comes Jordan running it down trying to stop the outlet and she does steals it has
it again look looks like it's going to be bodied here monno needs to move in and it goes wide yet again there just needs to turn that body I think a little bit from that side get that hip around so you can get that thing squared up and put it on the goal five minutes into the game East Long Meadow has just been dominating the play here in the second half this one is kicked out monno chasing it down gets her body in the way takes it this looks like a lot of shove and pushing and kicking and everything else moved in moved out still going monno still going strong gets it over there white has it wh's in the way using her body Jordan in there now the balls get played wide Easton meow's
going to have to hustle this one Low's got its patented play comes down the right hand side here they come on breaking out and transition this is their play they love to do this you could see what they were trying to do there in the first half and that is exactly what they like to do that's oh great move there by Jordan monno needs to get moving she needs to get on her horse she needs to get up there and use her space she's got to put that one through again just a little bit too far out there by Jordan she's way out at the 20 yard line I mean that's like a 38 yard shot maybe needs to get that one a little bit closer she had the space she had the power ball
played through here looks like Roman's going to chase this one down along with lukasik and Roman does she kind of Shield it kicks it out of bounds llow going to get a throw in really good touch there by Mack Bella's got it monno is currently off sides they tried to get it through and here it comes it's touched here it should touch it back to Kasich she doesn't she just takes it down the sidelines herself this one looks like it's going to come right in that's all right lucich has it oh needed to just get that one a little bit higher up in the air and it would have been a beauty oh good play Lucas has it take the space take the space she's got the space Oh little bit hard there morno turning
the corner oh a good try there good pass over to Jordan just had it on her foot little turn and fire it in there just so close eow with another really good opportunity there in front of the goal good fight for the ball right there both teams really trying to battle it out I like this play here gets it over mne mne's got it Roman's got it Roman sends it in East Long meow trying to get on it really like that play right there by oh oh snuck through there Jordan was trying to sneak that one through on a through ball really like this aggressive playing Kenna Marino going to take the throw in sends it right in Addie Jordan Addie Jordan right at her feet she turns the corner again sends it wide sends
it over monno is going to try to chase this one down again and she does she's going to turn the corner again this time it looks like it might be it oh she tries to go short side on the goalie the goalie saves it Dives and saves that from going in Jillian Stevens off the shoulder really good play there by Jillian Stevens right in the body not allowing one of the best players from lllo to make that turn ends up ball ends up going OB out of bounds for a lllo throw in as lllo makes its first Subs stitutions of the second half a big booming kick right there covered up ball comes in Jordan's got it at her feet she plays it back yeah a little penalty right there looks like this one's going
to be outside it looks like this one's going to be taken by monno maybe I'm not sure whether this is going to be Roman or monno that's going to take this kick looks like it's going to be monno maybe a pass over to Roman if it's a direct kick it's probably going to be a shot here it's at the about 17 yd line of the football field so you're looking at a 27 yard shot 30 minutes remaining not sure what coach has called here but she's going to take it and she does and she yeah not sure about that type of shot I would have liked to see a line drive make the goalie have to catch it or maybe get a rebound as opposed to kind of the soft touch into the top there
an opportunity certainly lost by East Long Meadow great hustle there by Mack to get in and make the goal he have to make oh boy if she had just reached out her foot the goalie did not see her something could have happened there this one's kind of swung down the sidelines Kenna Marino chasing it down using her speed this looks like she's going to bat it out of bounds heo going to set up its defense as lllo races up the field to take its throw in good control here by lllo getting double teamed over there on the sidelines kind of swings it by and making some good footwork another throw in here good hustle back using lllo using their body to defend ball ends up going out of bounds kenam Marino chasing it down the
track got to appreciate that by Ken Marino was trying to get a goal kick out of that as opposed to a throwin but the referee was having none of that referee got it right it was definitely a throwin good play there threw it as far as she could here we go Addie Jordan have it Addie Jordan sends this one for a ride and a goal morno sneaks that one past the goalie just on the leftand side really good team effort there on the goal looks like East lto for its maybe second celebration of the Season gonna have to go back and take a look at that one folks that one was just over the top a really good play there kept it on the ground monno was able to use her speed to fly past
the last lllo lion Defender and puts it in the back of the net with remaining really good outlet that one really started actually with a you know some really aggressive play Honestly by the midfielders off of the throwin by Kenna Marino just to get that ball out of the defensive zone out of the out of the defensive Zone and in to the middle of the field and then it was just that one long ball that made its way um no there was an assist on that goal I'm not sure who the assist who the assist was yeah some it could have been Addy Jordan it was probably Addy Jordan it seemed like that was Addie Jordan but I'm not positive we'll have to go back to the replay and look at that one referees didn't
kind of call it out and we're about to call out sort of the goal and the assist clearly there was an assist it was a great through ball right through the middle um into the into space scored by number 22 megano assisted by number two Jordan and here we're going to get a shot here by potentially get a good shot here by lllo they're really oh off of the post what a great shot by the lllo lion and Chase down by Kenna Marino to get that ball out of bounds what a spectacular shot a low liner into the post a good opportunity for lllo inches away from being in the goal it's like a free kick here Max got it or that one I think was Bella actually looks like Elon meow kind of sitting
back here a little bit they're not playing as aggressively to the ball as they were before and now looks like low really taking advantage and kind of controlling the middle of the field here this one's wide open this one's going to get sent in need to watch this backside number 12 and there it is again a good shot good save but another opportunity by lllo can see some slight concern on Coach Matt moer at middle of the field watching the defense encouraging them on to play on play through play ball and here it comes again nice little touchup there to Mack runs it down little over the shoulder kick good play there by Bella Bella has it Mack has it Mack boots it up Mac's gonna go for it one more time Ball's played on
to the outside and looks like l i mean just kind of watching here a little bit now it's way too much time on the clock to just kind of stand around and watch Spartans need to continue to apply the pressure I like that play right there that was certainly a great play by Jordan comes again good play by marino marino touches it in white has it back to Roman Roman has it going to probably try to swing it over here to lucich lucich has it she settles it down right between her thighs going to take it she sends it down the sideline Moro chasing it down looks like she's gonna no it's G to sneak its way out of bounds good try there by lukasik try to keep that one down the sidelines and have
monno get it but it was covered here we go good play there by the lllo defender knock that ball out of bounds I'm going to get a sub in comes Emma Susa with 24 minutes and 30 seconds remaining mat going to get a little break as she say hobbles off but certainly skips off a little bit there's Susa using her Foot Skills she's got it she's chasing it down play there not not letting not letting that turn happen really great hustle back there by Stevens Stevens has it now it's number 13 Jillian Stevens Addie Jordan has the ball powering through using using her leverage and her power GNA get another opportunity here for Elon Meadow to kind of flip one in looks like it's going to be number eight Lizzy Roman who's gonna serve it
see Susa up there mne oh I like this here A really good shot by Roman from a good distance sh her power on her kick that was a good play there by Kenna Marino to come up and get it Addie Jordan has it White's going to come in and give her a little bit of support but she turned this one here she did turn the corner got those hips turned and got that one on goal forcing the goalie to make a [Music] save good play good defending there by liuk Kasich kasich's gonna back up here make sure it doesn't go over her head should be nice it's played in good play she jumps in there kind of jumps through it all there goes Susa chasing it down got Jordan chasing it down they're playing it
back it's chasing again Kenna Marino with a great play coming on in from behind awesome Play Good anticipation used her speed and Sprint speed to go those five yards and really try to make something happen oh boy here we go this one's coming down the sidelines can Stephen help with that one and she does gives Elam meow an opportunity to set up back on defense see mne hobbling a little bit out there in the middle of the field number 18 Anna Roman trying to get herself into the game good play there it looks like it's going to be yeah they're going to have a little goal kick I'm not sure about that call I was thinking that that one could have been a corner kick myself but just not really sure so of what happened
there either way a little bit of an advantage for East Long Meadow as Anna Roman comes in to replace Maggie St in the middle of the field this one's booted out and there's white again she's got it she sends it over looks like it's going to be not really sure what's going to happen here good touch good touch again Marino is going to have to cover that one and she does kind of cuts through Stevens has it Stevens has it covered looks like they might be short one there boom sent out it's flipped back over Shilling Stevens harmlessly out to the sidelines lllo is going to get a throw in number seven for lllo making an entrance into the game Taylor Colberg giving Riley Remillard a little rest before I'm sure she'll be back in
the game at some point like coach is calling on some subs coach moer is GNA get Ali Thompson into the game here along with Emma Stevens really nice throw in there ball does end up going out of bounds but it looks like it's going to still be East Long Meadow as they gradually gain field position Advantage was a really good long oh looks like it's going to be a kick good pass ball gets played back through good try there by Susa she's back checking looks like Roman oh another it was a good opportunity there but it did look you know looked like a very good through Ball but it did look like Roman was was on the coverage there and we had an offsides call as well so Roman reusing her defensive skills defensive ability
her experience to draw that person off sides this one was a little bit of a low kick but it's it's covered there by Mack b gets kind of booted out Stevens it goes over her head that's we don't like to see that that was a three-on-one almost there by 14 White Bella white hustling over good ball right there good ball good coverage again looks like lukasik is on this good play Kasich has it kind of knocks it out of bounds gonna be a throwin for lllo Mack kind of making her way in taking a little break monno G to get a break Stevens out like mne taking a break Jordan taking a break gonna be a goal kick as lllo carried the ball out of bounds carried it down along the long line lizie Roman
to use that big powerful boot that she look at that thing go that was a great kick controlled there by Mack it comes up Alli Thompson has it sends it through goes off to the sidelines is getting chased again Alli Thompson kind of has it she's definitely plying the pressure uses the pressure again ball comes back Mack has it Mack gets it up Alli Thompson has it sends it over here SS's got it SS's got some space tries to pass it through white now going to run it down going to try to use her speed stay on her stay in oh great play there by white got just enough position to get her foot on that and to get into position and knock it out of bounds without it being any type of penalty carried
through good job by lucich using her power back to Steven Steven sends it a long way sus is coming down after it sus is chasing it she's got it here comes Steven Stevens has it sends it to Susa susa's using her speed using her skills using her foot skills and she fires a shot just a little bit soft and a little bit low either take that just a little bit farther I think and then fire one on the goal she's got such a great shot or you got to do a little love tap to the outside and try to hit a cutter good play by Mack really good Foot Skills there great pass by an a Roman susu's got it again she's got this one she's moving she sends it good chance there she follows
it up good play pass again here it comes and white with a low lining shot it's followed up shoot that Ball's a little bit on the outside Stevens has it Stevens oh just a little bit slow on the turn out of bounds eam metal throw really good shot there had a low lining hard kick into the goalie's chest couldn't save it completely it bounced out giving an East longam meow an opportunity this one's kind of sent up in the air here it comes again Roman with a shot it's fired oh just a little bit high from 20 yards out a 30 yard maybe even a 35 yard shot and was still able to get that over the football goal post good opportunity there really good playing in the middle of the field there by Bella
white during that shift chased up Stevens has it sus is there try to get it up good play by lucich lukasik has it Ball's coming through Addy Jordan has it just fires it good play by Susa Susa really really applying the pressure forcing that ball into the middle of the field Jordan had it again using a little bit of hand checking and not sure about that one either just like it down or make that pass been so good all game long just shot that one a little bit wide off of the side of the foot I love the aggressive play though it's been really fun to watch this offense today good play there by Jillian Stevens good play there by Mack Mack sends it over Emma Stevens has it really using her body sends it
up just a little bit of an off pass there oh good play really like how you see East L Meadow sticking with it using their body tough play there Romans coming down the sidelines chasing that one down one of our best defenders tries to send it in the middle it gets kind of booted off the side it's chased through what a great play here love the aggressive play force that one out of bounds Anna Roman with a really good play goes into her she's got it she's going to turn it there's an opening there and here we go here comes Thompson using her speed down the left hand side got that big left foot number 23's got it you can see Stevens coming up the right hand side there's some openings Thompson settles it down
over there it comes back ball is in susa's feet she has it she's using her dribbling skills trying to turn that corner and she does tries to get it over there to Addie Jordan goes a little bit wide it's covered and lllo is on a fast break they have it here Kenna Marino covering along with Roman along with Stevens there's a little bit of an opening they cover that left footed shot of number 12 we've seen it before come hard and low and off the post that one goes somewhat harmlessly out of bounds lllo Lions throw in 12 42 seconds remaining one nothing your East Long Meadow Spartans on a goal first goal of the Season by Megan morno snuck one past the goalie on a great through ball oh and this looks starting to
look this little session here starting to look a little bit like the West Springfield game out of bounds lllo out of bounds East Long Meadow out of bounds L low out of bounds East Long Meadow lots of throwi inss good control there ball balls back in bounds good aggressive play out of bounds East Long Meadow throw look like Bella white is back on the at the 50 yard line yeah they're going to get an opportunity here for sure good play by lukasik she's using using her speed oh good play there there's an opening and there's a shot harmlessly into the hands of the East Long Meadow go tender picks it up heads to the top of the box surveys the landscape and sends it for a ride over the head of Emma Stevens chases it
down and it just gets you know just applying that pressure you saw Emma Stevens there just kind of running up and applying the pressure to that last Defender to the point where she kind of felt obligated to do something with it it ended up kind of just booting it out of bounds here we go down the sidelines off of foot gets sent in it's coming to the middle number 12 has it looks like yeah Lucas need to maybe ride that one out here's a great ball right through the middle good play here it comes now eam Meow in transition Alli Stevens has it she passes it up to somebody from low chasing it down using her left foot uses her great speed to try to save that one from going out of bounds just wasn't
able to get it lllo gets a throw in look at that pressure though this one's played through Roman H kind of harmlessly has it takes her time uses her look at the SPAC she's got using her experience sends that one a long way Susa is going to have it Steven's chasing that one down from the outside East Long medal is going to get a throw and we're going to get a couple of Subs here looks like mne coming back into the game Emma Stevens going to take a little break after some great playing there down the right hand side morno GNA take her spot and Alli Thompson going to take a little break as mne kind of takes the middle of the field it's boomed in Mack has it it's coming still [Music] chasing [Music]
not sure what happened there I couldn't tell on the play it looked like there may have been some after after kick Shenanigans monno called for a penalty morno never afraid to get a penalty yourself little aggressive [Music] [Applause] play yeah good try there by morno got in there got was able to take the ball away just a little bit too hard on the touch and it kind of whittles Away Great play there actually by Stevens she was got herself in position [Music] comes Roman number 12 for [Music] oh really good boot there by number 12 a little strong shot just kind of made that turn got her hips turned got that thing right on goal made the goalie make a save 7 minutes and 37 seconds remaining one- nothing East Long Meadow East SL metal
goalie that one comes off the side of the foot a little bit but a really good head ball there Susa has it this one's going to get sent down moro's going mono's chasing as is Jordan you got a double cha you got double Chasers there oh Jordan was right on that one it was very very close maybe a half step away from a one-on-one situation with the goalie this one's played up Jordan has it tried to get it over there to morno that a girls that's the one right there Susa with a big boot from about 18 yards out used that power got that one low just a little bit wide but I did like the power on that kick if it was just a little more accurate that's going to make a really difficult
save for the goalie East metal moving it up the right hand side needs somebody to challenge the ball this one's kind of played over the top they've got a they've got a Speedster kind of coming down the right hand side it's covered ball goes out of bounds good play there by Roman I believe put the left foot on it got it out of bounds monno kind of making her way back this one kind of comes to the middle good play there comes out controlled kind of lllo has it they move it down on the right hand side ball comes into the middle you got somebody wide open there need a back check oh no that's not good there that was problematic from the get-go not sure what was happening there on defense just had a
little bit of miscommunication and the lll Lions take advantage and six minutes remaining they're able to put that one in the net to tie up the match just a little miscommunication there on defense we'll see if Isam meow can kind of bring this back now and see what they see what if anything see what if anything they can do this one gets sent down harmlessly in the har good try there by mckegney good pass by morno a little bit off the the side of her foot maybe take that one in and get yourself in a little better shooting position that was a really good kick right there by the by the eastlon meow goalie a little pushing and shoving from behind by white they're going to get a free kick here on their own side
of the field at about their own 45 yard line it's like they're probably going to try to get the ball if I were them they're going to try to get that ball really here we go she's going to try to get rid of this one quickly and she does ball comes [Music] [Applause] out this one gets played over the top it's getting chased down we'll see what happens here almost this one's getting also booted out over the top it's kind of moving here comes Mac Ma has it Ma just a little bit of a little bit of a light touch good ball control there here it comes over to mne mne has itne sending it out good pass here morno has it she's gonna you know just got to get that hip turned a little
bit get that thing a little bit more to the middle got to get somebody else to put that one in the goal that one just went a little bit too high used your speed to go down the sidelines needed to turn that corner just a little bit more and get that one maybe pass that one back to somebody who's at the 18 this one looks like it might go harmlessly out of bounds and it does looks like got it she throws it down the sidelines morno has it she's moving it she passes it through that's a good touch there oh just slightly too hard for Susa but she was there was a good look just a little bit too hard and that one was going to be there Susa was going to have an open
opportunity Addie Jordan sh you look at that speed look at that closing speed by Jordan right there to really gain possession of that ball and give East Long Meadow another offensive opportunity and more importantly with not a lot of time remaining in the game to take one away from low oh tough pass there ball comes back okay I like this they're swinging it around to the other side of the field it's getting this one's carried through comes off looks like sus is going to try to chase that one down but the goalie grabs it G to give it a big old punt out that's a good punt to the top it's [Music] trapped abs abute disaster bouncing ball off the side of the foot and over the goal opportunity lost two minutes remaining in the
game lllo has the ball here they're playing it to the outside it's going to get chased down here by Jordan Jordan has Jordan eastl Meadow on its heels just a really good play there by lukasik to kind of hang on there they're trying to she keeps it ball comes in Jordan chasing it down oh what a oh okay well minute and 30 seconds remaining llo Lions here with an opportunity one minute and 20 seconds remaining this could be their last opportunity of the game they send it into the middle ball comes out ball comes through kenam Marino has it kicks it out off the shoulder both teams chasing it down lllo has [Music] it yeah here it comes I mean we watching they're they're setting this up and here it comes [Music] maybe wanted to
turn and play that one there there's 35 seconds remaining looks like there's going to be a timeout called by dudo I'm not sure they're going to try to set up a play here see Matt moer is going to call his team together as well they're going to set up their defense he's raising his head trying to figure out what the plan's going to be they're going to have to put a lot of people here back on defense with only 35 seconds remaining maybe leave one player up top to kind of Chase down just one long through ball it's been a spectacular game I would say East Long meow for the most part has really dominated the play especially in the second half lllo really took advantage of the only opportunity that it had which was
just a slight miscommunication or misc on defense there on what was otherwise a fairly harmless ball and just kind of lost it and to Low's credit they stayed on top of it as they said back in youth follow the goal follow the goalie follow the goalie follow it in well they did and they were able to take advantage of a BBL ball and they put it in the back of the net to tie this match at one all but definitely an improved East Long Meadow team from the last couple of games especially on the offensive end in the middle of the field the defensive end has always been strong but you're really starting to see the team come together and connect um in all aspect of the game it seems that coach moer and his
staff have gotten players in the right position and he's figured out sort of uh you know what he wants to do and where he wants his players and how he thinks his team um Can best play and so it's and here it goes we've got 19 seconds left and ball is just FL off the side of the foot Jordan has it she kind of had it now it's going the other direction we'll see this is going to be the seven six 5 4 3 2 one and the game has ended in a tie great game by East Long Meadow they don't win on the scoreboard but they certainly win on the field tonight we'll see you next time
