but really humid here probably the most humid day or night that they're gonna play all season in this Heatwave fans from both sides Longmeadow the crosstown rival last year East Longmeadow taking out the favorite Long Meadow in the western Mass tournament Longmeadow clearly coming back here to East Longmeadow Turf this year looking for some Revenge Longmeadow uh well coached very experienced coach very experienced team East lombetto new coach This Year free Sloan metal we'll see what he has to offer with some new assistant coaches East Longmeadow losing a bunch of Stellar seniors so Stellar goaltender Taylor deflorio or western Mass Statewide champion at over Central Connecticut right now Southern Connecticut Bridget Jordan a loss in the middle of the field Kelly lukasik a loss at striker and tia Talis who really just kept the Midfield
together last year for the East Longmeadow Spartans A Silent Assassin this year's team is a little bit less experienced but very athletic we'll see what East Longmeadow has to offer as the season progresses Jordan up top Julian Stevens will be holding down the fort in the back and a Merino over there on the right hand side game's about to get started officials are giving their instructions to both sides Diane the trainer down there in case of any injuries game is about to get started it's set at 40 minutes East Palmetto on the right hand side closed on the field looks like maybe the left-hand side here we go ball was put into play control early on here by the Palmetto a little bouncing around but they're gaining their possessions it's over to Kenna Marino over
here pasta interception there by Longmeadow maintaining possession flips it up Julian Stevens with a big boot clear keeping things out of the middle a little push there from behind Megan morno over to tries to run that down all right Rowan Longmeadow out of bounds gonna go in Longmeadow gonna go in longmeadow's Direction growing right in front of the East right in front of the East Long Middle bench it's going to be my number 13 Sophia star soccer player but also star lacrosse player looks like they're going to switch it up right there it's going to be a free kick by number 17 Natalie Metz coming from the back setting up six players up front for Longmeadow about eight back there for East Longmeadow right now and a big boot right there right into the middle
and it's clear and it's ooh a good opportunity I can't see who that is that ball snuck through really created an opportunity there for number seven Emma booted out an aggressive play right there [Applause] a good shot by number 17. Natalie Max from about 20 yards out goalie got a little bit nervous but pushed it off to the side to make the first save of the season it's going to be a corner kick here for Long Meadow thank you nice to see ball girl on the side chasing the ball down helping out for our middle player number 13 some of the Juniors here from East Longmeadow getting involved number 11. Cameron Raymond gonna take the corner raises her hand puts the ball down takes a big step ball gets in there and it's rushed in
and that's a handball right there and it is called sometimes the refs can't see that you can see if you're up here in the boot but sometimes the reps are blocked out but that referee doing a great job caught on to that one balls being cleared here still going forward sends it over here to siago siaglo boots it up to number 14. Jamie Greenman out of bounds ball thrown in number 23 Thompson Megan mornos using her body kicked out of bounds there by Long Meadow that's going to be easy number eight Lizzy Roman the others one of the Stellar Defenders for East Longmeadow over there on the left hand side goalie picks up the ball and saves it [Music] so far early on about four minutes in it really has seemed like Long Meadow has
dominated possession first time the balls traveled down here Addie Jordan giving Chase all set up nice right there right to the foot of a long metal player and that was about to sneak on through looked like Lizzy Roman was there Maddie Jordan has it gets bodied off of it or Meadow has it good move there coming in the middle another pass stolen oh good control there by a long metal they get it up the left-hand side on the turf rolls out of bounds can a Mourinho can throw the ball in gets it into number eight back to Kenna Marino Marino with a big boot up the field it's like that one's either going to roll a lot of bounds or rolls of the goal when you see Annie Jordan chasing down just in case it's
rolled out zero a little bit clear there by Longmeadow bring it up the wing could step in right there by Stephen Stephen's really putting a body on it Thompson at the wall boots it up and Jordan has it sends it over Thompson's got it morno's going to be going down [Music] [Applause] to try there by Megan mortal really being aggressive on the ball got the ball through one step away number 19 for Long Meadow really just saved the goal there Grace vangu who's otherwise it was going to be all morno one-on-one with the goalie and I would have put my chances on morno there great play by Van Gogh warno going to take the corner kick all players from East Longmeadow up Kenna Marino the only player back ball goes in it's a great feed
in the middle and that is a handball that is a definite handle hands we're going to be a handball or it's an offside small looks like it is going to be a handball that is the red seam to me from up here in the boot that it was the right call number two for East Longmeadow who's going to take this shot it is our Center Addie Jordan whistle blows and ball goes [Applause] 34 minutes and 28 seconds remaining really good play right there a great quarter kick from Bordeaux put it in the middle put a lot of pressure on the Longmeadow defense looked like Ally Thompson actually not sure may have picked that one up number two Defenders man Jordan with all those players around but the official did a great job one nothing Spartans
good starts balls heading back number five Carolina Kasich is moving it back even though she was a little bit jammed up [Applause] what great defense there by Kenna Marino one on one long metal flare attacker had the advantage but Mourinho pulled around their users get stuck their foot out got the ball out of bounds number 11 again taking the corner kick Cameron Freeman sends it in ball is in a good kick a little oh there's a good one there lets it Go wide good way there by Lizzie Roman lets the ball go through we're going to get a goal kick looks like some good opportunities so far actually for one metal on those Corner kicks he speaks out of bounds he is guns it up the field off of number five Carolina to bring it
in again goes down was he Roman puts her left foot on it all goes out of bounds kind of making its way down the field here with these throw-ins good play there back out of bounds I'm not oh here we go can't take your foot off the gas there got it wrong flare ball goes sideways that one it was a really good strike probably heading close to the goal but it hit the uh hit the one metal flare yeah diving attempt on a spectacular cross what a goal that would have been it would have been a absolutely what an effort by long metal right there number 17 Natalie Matt's flying across [Music] it's saved your defense not so much there Nelly Max has been so far the player of the game here with 10 minutes
in really kind of dominating the middle of that field and running kind of all over the place I mean she's everywhere she's got the most touches play right there for 13 siago back again and that's again all moving great pass down good move there by Mourinho saw it coming touched it up the field it's gonna be a long metal throw the top back out of bounds again they make their way back up the field here again just by kind of throwing the ball down the sidelines and then having somebody in from [Applause] he's got it a little bit of a light touch there but she charges forward good play back control [Music] but [Applause] it's growing taking down ready [Applause] you wanna play by Mourinho so I'm coming from a mile away and she is
off [Music] here comes with Kasich using her speed gotta be careful there number 14 really good play could come back there by room and get back and cover it [Music] number 15 there for Long Meadow on the hustle Marley duchar there got a little bit of room he's got the ball a little had a little bit tangled up in her feet Ally Thompson's gonna get a little break right now and in comes Emma Stevens on the left wing Carolina [Music] I'm not sure about that play there I left ahead of Stevens facing comes out it doesn't come out it looks like we're going to have ourselves a goal kick right here [Music] and see what the uh number 17. um is booted up getting in there I love the aggressive play right there ball comes
into the middle kicked out booted up making its way right there Here Comes daddy if Jordan with the ball got some speed coming she's carrying carrying carrying carrying using her speed using her leverage guided down great defense there by Longmeadow on the outside right back Rowan for East Longmeadow down in the offensive zone Hannah Marino running down the sidelines getting the second ball with a little bit of help from some East Longmeadow girls soccer taking some time watching the girls kicked out of bounds there over the end line and have a goal kick along that out it's really nice to see the young girls out here helping out on the sidelines and behind the cage keeping the bar and the balls moving both sides which is nice here we go got a possession here by
Longmeadow almost daddy Jordan has it comes back it's coming back again I don't know well that one was cops are number seven there saw that one coming really good move by Gracie DiStefano throw in or long booted up call that the boot up foreign [Music] a little bit too far sure if that's gonna make it out of bounds and it does kind of Mourinho could take the throw number 10 Emma Susa coming into the game giving Addie Jordan a little bit of a rest really I can't express enough how humid it is out here tonight you know you can't really feel it probably where you're all watching from but out here I mean people are in the stands are using towels to wipe their foreheads they're really even the fans are getting double water breaks
it's pretty human you can have an opportunity here on a kick a pre-position kick by East Longmeadow from about 32 yards out we'll see if we can get this ball you saw metal can get this ball into the middle looks like Souza's ready for it if it does get in there morno almost had it jumped over her foot being chased around on the sidelines it's gonna be a throw the ball gets thrown in might have been almost a handball there but it was covered good playback route it over into the middle nobody home they met driving out of bounds again now they're throwing oh Chase back there by Stevens all comes through it's untouched and kicked it to herself being chased there off he's back again over the head Romans goalie's coming out he's gonna
grab that probably get another punt here from the goalie 24 minutes remaining in the first half score is one nothing [Music] Jordan on a handball again a little bit of an inadvertent handball in the Box this one 's High to the sky covered good aggressive play there by Natalie facing that ball down the sidelines was able to get it off of her foot off of the Nissan medal player awesome screw up what time besides a little sloppy play not really connecting the passes here a little bit early a little bit early in the season you've seen a little bit a lot of balls here going on I'll see her kind of heading out of bounds pretty quickly bouncing around kind of like this and foreign play right there a little bit of a small window
of opportunity there for East Longmeadow they're going to get themselves a throw in Carolina number seven Emma Stevens is down there Megan morno is down there little physical play is going about 25 yards down the field all right [Music] [Applause] penalty there good defensive play good little check back penalty there on number two Emerson case we're gonna get a free kick it's gonna be taken by star Defender Lizzy Roman bringing the ball up it's like she's just gonna give it a give it a ride and see what she can come up with right into them [Applause] great opportunity there for a long meadow really that play was awesome really set up well at one two one two punch and then I turn around left foot is Shot Bar post had somebody coming by it could
have gone either way they're off of the flare that was coming in or alternatively it could have just gone into the back post either way thank you [Music] quite as far I know somebody kind of that wide open there we go [Music] [Applause] thank you [Music] Mona really took the ball there all the way down the sidelines got a little cross in almost hit a foot of along the of an Islam metal flare but it just kind of snuck through balls kind of bumbling around right now with everybody's heads kind of touching it everywhere oh a little miscommunication there between Stevens and Mourinho or metal comes up with the ball they clear to the other side bending using your speed pictures over here this is Roman's got it she's got some space he gets rid
of it over here good time to touch there by Thompson a little white it's a good play there kind of gets it up the sidelines afterwards I did it back there to Thompson but it sneaks out of bounds it's gonna be so Thea seagulla with a throw in again she's going to see how many more goes she's got some space makes it ball comes back out of bounds on Jillian Stevens and have to hustle back here I think cover that middle gauze ball comes through number eight is Roman has it um take that shot there sneaks on through and picks it up on her feet arm was shot that time 17 minutes and 15 seconds remaining and then the game won nothing Spartans get a punt out right there yes almost has it here to
Thompson [Applause] one foreign tried to get the ball there onto her right foot maybe could have got that cross off of her left which was trying to get it over to her strong foot might be regretting that at the moment that one went into the head of number two clearly accidental that that one could absolutely hurt total accident but Emerson Paige hopefully she's okay looks like she is quick recovery yeah keep things going they are going to suffer out there number 23 coming into the game that is coming in taking the place gonna take a little break in some water shake off the cobwebs a little bit and then go from there from the gym [Music] oh yeah everything wow well I'm not sure that was the way it was supposed to be drawn up
when I got a lot of field position there on that back pass ball comes in very experienced play right there by Lizzie Roman on defense really boxing out for offensive player until that ball goes out of bounds right here subs or piece [Music] has it comes up a little bit of pressure being put on right there by Meadows offense kind of trying to make its way into the middle when you're really seeing Longmeadow dominate the time of possession so far in this game balls smashed up it's headed it's being chased down over there by number 11. yeah Maggie Stevens who has it shoots it up there to number 17 he's got it just gonna try to pull it back control the ball see what happens here got it ball comes into the middle could play
there by Longmeadow to get that ball out of metal clearly being just slightly more physical to me as well they just really look like they're winding the ball in the middle of the field guys bounces bouncing problems screenplay there by number five Carolina case it gives East Longmeadow another goal kick let's see kind of what happens here number seven for Longmeadow grace de Stefano really kind of causing some trouble actually on these on these first kicks and here it goes Ali Thompson's got the ball and she is moving yeah I want to cross his Fields I'm not sure that was meant to go there but a good back check here Stevens has it she just kind of tosses it up doesn't get everything on it and not so great trap right there but he's on
metal maintains possession called an almost head ball Addie Jordan cutting down the sideline tried to cut it back over there tomorrow didn't happen went to the Foley goalie picks it up the goalie's going to give it a ride right here out to the Stefano Stefano has it and a Merino covers that comes back it's going to be a Chase right here for it comes back with play right there over here he's got the bottom of Jason over to Thompson Thompson's got it Thompson's cutting through she's getting pushed a little bit from behind now the ball is in the middle looks like Eastlawn Metal's got something going here they bang it up looks like it's going to be saved before it goes out almost it's a good opportunity there along with East Longmeadow finally put some
connecting passes together got long metal on their heels a little bit but now long metal is going to get themselves you know it's On It Reno backs off he's like you gotta get something to put some pressure on the ball good you did right there was gonna have it more now settles it could be trouble here it's shielding job right there by Stevens on the Stefano Stefano clearly their their attacker one of their best offensive players one of the best offensive players in Western Mass the ball's still staying in bounds right here back to Steven Stevenson bangs it up and that's has it heads It Out of Bounds at about the 50-yard line almost got a two-pointer there in the tread Barrel gone again bing bang gold another header jumps in Stevens has it kicks
it over he's got it again comes to morno morno has it runs into a roadblock looks like it's a Defenders kind of right on her right here that one's given a good ride oh what great control almost there by number 17. a big kickback Defender Roman right to him Whitmore McKenna AKA Mac number 17 the white Winger very speedy Speedy Claire out there more now it's going to get a little break right now to stop it they're playing there by the case you can chase that one down and give these gold medals some time to get back on defense and really set things up foreign [Music] all right put his body on some people using the speed here and facing down come on metal really just kind of maintaining possession right here in the back
it looks like they're really setting something up moving the ball around they've got it over here to siaglo siago is going to make a move a very Speedy athletic player this is where you could play there stepped up by Thompson good play now Mac has it all those directly back I've had it taken away right there good save about seven minutes remaining one nothing metal s sneaks through here Chase there by the Stefano very Speedy player lots of Foot Skills Julian Stevens star Defender free slaw metal trainer Kylie trekowski Checks In fresh set of legs [Applause] Sidekicks free kicks just like these types of kicks right here metal seems to be the first ones to touch it in some metals you know been able to take gets take have some opportunity and take advantage but
for the most part one Meadows them as they say first for the ball Ali Thompson's got it now it's Caroline the casing over to Thompson maneuvering around I don't know where it is here it is it's number 21 you're going to use your speed Julian Stevens right on using her body to Shield brings it back to the middle back to Mourinho right there first of all [Music] take it back [Music] a lot of space right there a lot of space I guess we're going to get it off sides called here a metal looking to make some substitutions here at the end of the first half in five minutes remaining because again we've just got to get that first touch coming up our body on Metal's got to have its body its ball it's foot its
head has to be the first one to touch it there we go there's Mourinho you see we've got in there being aggressive Here Comes Jordan again chasing down chasing down siago who does chase her down contains possession mourinho's got it she grabs it comes back and some metals got it here comes over here to Ally Thompson being set up in case of coming down the sidelines and the ball goes into the middle to Atlanta Here Comes Mourinho again she's got it a little bit of a too far touch she's gonna really have to put on the Jets here to get back in a great play by Jillian to leave us to stop a potential opportunity for Longmeadow in transition s if they say don't let them turn don't let her turn open there in the
middle of the field see somebody put a body on that right up in there yeah right up in there nice and tight give some people some rest in this heat it's like mourinho's got it comes right in the middle of the field Jillian Stevens has it got it comes over here great refereeing tonight don't see that all the time get criticized but tonight they have absolutely been on their a game they've gotten all the right calls even when they haven't gone East longmeadows way it's been the right call and they've really been right not hearing hearing any of the fans screaming you're not hearing [Music] [Applause] oh yeah an excellent approval all comes from the middle not sure about that tough spot is only one metal players there it comes out wide throw in being
chased by Jordan Ball comes up and it goes right through the lights it always coming out she dies there by the daily doing her best Taylor deflorio impression from last year died Brown making a save for less than two minutes out again penalty there on number 14. for each long medal that's going to be on Bella White free kick here by Long Meadow from the 45 yard line it's Longmeadow really trying to defend here at the end of the half and take a one-nothing lead if they can into the half the ball comes through it all the way through that looks like a second play by Longmeadow coaches laughing like otherwise 30 seconds left we see one Meadows scrambling to try to get it out there yeah can you touch it falls a timeout to
get a set plane and so the teams all the time out a good time out here our metal was going to get an opportunity uh probably a one last after that now we've got 30 seconds to the girls from the slow metal on the sidelines making sure they stay hydrated on this [Music] clear life thank you well we'll see what Longmeadow kind of Drew up here if coach Drew up a play and if they can implement it we'll see what you saw Meadow does here on defense peace long metal putting everybody back in one hour after 30 seconds remaining probably a good strategy seems like from one Meadows perspective they've had both of his head the both of the opportunities thank you including uh not only enough it's really good opportunities [Applause] a couple of
good shots a couple of great saves it's really nice to see 50 seconds foreign thank you foreign okay thank you foreign thank you period thank you girls opening night here in East Longmeadow one nothing Spartans on a penalty kick by Addie Jordan early in the first half say analysis would be long metal really dominated The Possession play had the best opportunities in terms of crosses and shots on goal time of possession looks like they're being first to the ball but on the scoreboard it is all that matters and it is one nothing Spartans we'll see what happens here in the second half while Meadow starts it they fire it up the right hand side on a set play it's picked up there got it fires it up right now so I can switch positions a
little bit it looks like a nap in the middle of the field it looks like Seuss's got the ball sending it through has it caps it up so this has got its touch the head can Jordan get there first and she's just um [Music] Full Speed Ahead didn't get there quickly here good ball look at that grabbing of this jersey [Applause] by the long metal Lancers goes over the top on a wide open Bowl had a good opportunity there are too short over the top on a good really just an absolutely excellent through one porno tried to grab it there with her right foot probably needed to grab it on the other side with her left foot number 16 is right there they have come out with a strategy and a plan to attack the
middle of the field there it is again first of all facing down still chasing down here we go [Applause] bringing it back back to back next got it slides it over to the middle of the field Carolina Kasich is open [Applause] again number 22. going to take the corner kick hands up whistles long ball goes in the middle of right and pass right there ball slides on through nobody touching it again right there it's you know first to the ball long metal good play there by Jillian Steve it's great defense there she's taking it up she gets the ball into the middle still going strong good play there again by still going to Burns it turns inside oh good move there's gotta pass into the middle open another opportunity claw goes off of that would
have an Eastlawn metal flare just a little bit wide good opportunity there for Longmeadow ball sneaks out Addie Jordan running it down all comes through can a Mourinho has it gets it over to the middle to Bella Matt has it slides through sliding through Bella's got it come sliding on over chase down by number 14. back to lukasik and Kasich again gonna swing it to the middle it's open it's a little one toucher a couple of really good opportunities here early in this on both teams you see Roman there on defense really good defense mornell saves it gets it off of her left foot gets it up Sousa going after it ball goes on through it's two players it looks like your case it's going to back off cover the ball seems to chasing it
down using her incredible speed chase it down really applying some pressure here early that one sneaks through good play by Roman it looks like they're really just trying to play the ball here that you get the ball up to boot charm that's really got to be yeah it was slightly lost they've changed their alignment to people in slightly different positions here in the second half and they look a little bit uncomfortable on that approval coming down the middle really gonna have to fix that here in the second half some great opportunities from both sides 34 minutes remaining in 20 seconds while metal with an opportunity here on a corner kick they've they're setting up a set they've got a set play right here and they've done it they've got this it's come out it's come
through it's coming here comes more now she's going she's gonna take this ball it's like she's going down the field to go in the distance oh Oh shot right there went for the Gusto I looked like she was gonna go for a cross but she didn't she went far coast and just missed putting long metal East Longmeadow ahead to nothing it all sneaks out of bounds a lot of meadow just off the Middle School in ball comes back the play here it's over to Jillian Stevens the Stefano putting some pressure on all comes up now goes over the head up still going booted off of a player from Longmeadow called Bugs is the middle of the field which is really there's been a problem right now for for East Longmeadow is he Roman with some
spec one on one fence look at that play by Lizzy Roman over there on the left back absolutely had one Talent back there taking on a player one-on-one getting the ball away and then peering it halfway up the field spectacular defense it's all kicked over the end line here both coaches look like they've made some game-changing decisions at halftime in terms of their strategy in terms of their player positioning and in terms of their setup and it looks like both have had created more offensive opportunities [Music] the head coach of the Spartans Matt Mosher in his first year coaching away from the 50-yard line directing players directing traffic assistant coaches Hannah assistant coach Kim Schwartz and James Coach Joe the tanzari father of some of the best girl soccer players East Longmeadow has ever produced
sort of now it's in possession number 14 Bella's got it right through the middle pass there balls going down it's like your Kasich is using her speed he just doesn't want to get de-possessed Romans got it Roman goes back to the goalie this one's gonna get booted and it does it kind of goes up good play there by Roman against my middle a little bit better field positions um [Music] we're just kind of watching here folks we're watching you gotta go to the ball these long metal players you can't let people settle the ball on the 18-yard line you really need to go and kind of attack it you can't let people turn and fire that shot on your goalie East Longmeadow has survived back there it's a great defense by one-on-one defense by Mourinho
by Roman by Stevens banged out it's like again metal first one to touch it down the sidelines firing away off to the side there a good shot good right footed shot by number 17 Natalie that's a strong lacrosse player strong soccer player really has a big foot and a lot of power you can score from anywhere on the field yards around here and Steven's tried to get that one up tomorrow gets the turn Jesus got it Jordan's got it oh just tried to do that right there and here comes One Medal right back right back in transition oh that turn over there almost back on the goal I mean that was a great move somebody's got to put a body on somebody for East Longmeadow when they're going one on one like that really need
to do that can't leave it alone here comes right down the sideline we've got some sleep boxes back Daddy Jordan daddy Jordan's got it she's gonna get that turn all comes through since we've got it [Music] [Applause] thank you activity there so a little play there by Moreno to step up and get that one in front she's gonna try to save it but she doesn't and beat the ball there I'm not so sure that's a great idea really put herself in a bad spot she's got a hustle back and she does would play there by Julian Stevens daddy Jordan coming back in gets the ball gets it over to Bella Bella over again one more to Sousa she said back to the basic looking yeah here we go balls in the middle of the field
coming back over I'm not sure what that was 25 yards out a little pressure on the goalie well sneaks out of bounds number 14 James Green coming up there he is Again by not sure why that here we go there's somebody's wide open there in the middle the cross display there by the goalie a nice save can be first one to put ahead a body anything on it looks like the answer is going to be amazing what [Music] number two is why not even not even covered right now they're just in one person short in the middle of the field [Music] thank you [Music] substitution here our Thompson coming on foreign thank you [Music] [Applause] thank you [Music] [Applause] come on [Music] aggressive play in there in the middle of the field some fans screaming
looking for a call there on a little push on back the end of the day the ball goes out of bounds off a long metal leg goes over the end line 25 minutes remaining East Longmeadow gonna get a goal kick here see what's uh see if East Palmetto can be get themselves what we call a first touch ball comes swung all the way over here to Mourinho Mourinho gets it and tosses it over the sidelines up with a throw like a little bit better of a defensive alignment Here Right Now by Easter by Longmeadow number three minutes takes a little break with 22 22 minutes remaining tomorrow [Music] big throw right there it's a very aggressive player aggressive play long player likely one of the captain to the team I'm unsure about that it's highly
likely to Oh Long Meadows got numbers here they got themselves a five on three right now five on four balls coming back number seven the Stefano wide open ball goes through back again tumbling tumbling and now we're gonna have to order kick four long meta another opportunity for Longmeadow and 21 minutes remaining in the game 21 minutes and 30 seconds looks like they're actually going to get this play right here Longmeadow needs to see it coming and they don't this is trouble for East Longmeadow oh that could have been trouble small metal was not ready for that [Music] this is trouble again they're just not behind here they're just not behind this is trouble you can see it coming it was just a great play by the goalie unfortunately it looks like somebody from longetto
may have gotten injured on injured on this play they're calling out the trainer Palmetto on the ground it was kind of like a bang bang play the goalie had to come out to try to save that or it was going to be a wide open shot and came out and a little bit of a bang bang playing metal flare I don't think saw it coming and just kind of got flipped around and tossed over hopefully she's gonna be all right we're gonna take a break right now and then Jeffries are going to get some water all right folks we're quickly back it looks like it's going to be kind of like a little quick drop ball here all right you see this just kind of getting dropped booted up in the air and uh gonna
be another free-for-all here in the middle of the field [Music] and that's basically what happened except it just went a little bit too far to the right out of bounds it's going to get based on metal into the game comes number 18. taking a break number six Sabine technique one there one Merino can handle but it was coming with a lot of smoke and a lot of spin to try to keep it in bounds and then bang it up didn't happen here we go down the sidelines to Stefano Stevens is Right honor it all comes into the middle Bang adow at this point is really just not first of all they're getting taken advantage of here we go one possibility here claw goes down the sidelines again good as they say in football field position
Advantage there on that way bounce get another throw at it thank you a slight rest put in a great performance tonight putting a lot of pressure on the Defenders right there awesome back number seven to Steph and I was really oh I mean she wants it right now you can tell um chest [Music] and that was just a boat race and really good timing by the goalie right there race to go get it the step it almost incredible speed East Longmeadow player just keeping up with their order of a step and it could have been things could have gone a different way thank you on the sideline Stevens chasing it down after it getting pushed out here we go another really good corner kick right there bounces in the air for the Eastlawn metal fans
streaming govish go that whoever said they were screaming for [Music] gonna get a timeout again [Music] we're gonna really rally the troops look see something in East Longmeadow setup that she really wants to explain she's calling her team over quickly she's got a plan that she wants to put in place let's see what East Longmeadow can do thank you resting them up getting some water falling in play and you can see right here coach is really leaning on Natalie match right now talking directly to him talking to the players really at her she's giving her some fight some instructions some guidance it's exactly what she wants to do to exploit as best they can the Eastern metal defense which has really held its own has played absolutely spectacular clearly in my opinion star of the
game so far I need something great Savage has come out of the goal appropriately has made some diving saves has interrupted passes has played just really played aggressively and has been the difference really between I think one battle scoring a couple of goals and not scoring let's see if they can keep it up the formidable defense line replace it Merino Roman and Steven's heaven held Longmeadow scoreless see if they can keep it up 16 minutes and 22 seconds remaining the fans are all down there sweating can't wait to go home and take a shower maybe jump in a pool if you happen to happen thank you again [Music] that one almost between them I've been trying to persuade the call there try to get it to you clearly went off of them they're leaving office
stays in bounds Allie Thompson gets it kind of kicks it up gets it in the middle somebody's head goes down balls kind of moving all over the place here trying to keep the ball oh good try right now [Applause] thank you sure what happened there a ball of kind of got stuck on the wrong side the case it's got to chase that down here they come [Music] on good defensive stand there one-on-one defense again and it just held their own hung in there it's like a little bit of survival the finish on defense Longmeadow pressing forward jump up there this is what they've been asking for right here they're really trying to get that ball down up down that right hand side they're trying to get it down that right hand side to Max for
a big booming shot off that right side thank you I want to just sneaks out of bounds got some subs coming in here and Jordan jumping back in number six jumping back in and Matt jumping back in and out 12 minutes remaining yeah in the second half a good long throw in ball keeps on going you got to put some trying to put some pressure on that get it Adam Jordan has it has it you want to get more else calling for it and I can Morris calling for it [Applause] the goalie and then they kick it out of bounds up red Falls a short time out to check on a flare injury and I'll try to sneak that one in while the Reno was wide open oh my God foreign [Applause] [Music] I'd like
to see this here I do like to see this play Addie Jordan using her captain ship to send Sousa back into the box get one more player back in there a really good call Right There by Captain Addy Jordan works everyone there was much no I'm not going to say that's not an experienced penalty but it is good play there by Lucy Roman if you're going to take a penalty that's probably the time to do it the ball was spinning around she didn't know where it was Blair had her beat by a little bit and [Music] about all right [Music] that's a dangerous kick good call tried to do the old looked like it was going to be a highlight red but did I tried to do a bicycle kick very athletic play but it's
going to be a penalty High foot I see the fans from East Longmeadow breathing taking a big deep breath after that as it flips it back forward all right this is the one you gotta cover right there [Applause] Zeus has got to go get that gotta get on that right there don't give up on it chase that one back you don't want to leave the middle of the field open like this somebody right in the middle [Music] oh a left footage strike by the left Winger number two [Music] with a left-footed opportunity number 15. coming back into the game [Music] a big kick here find it down the middle and again it's going to be on metal first to the ball and we'll watch not only were they first on their first and second good
job great play there by Jillian Stevens to come over and save the defense kind of a ball that was rummaging around the 18-yard line good play there by Lizzie Roman locket was really getting some wonderful opportunities in this game they just haven't been able to put one in six minutes and 30 seconds remaining corner kick right here coming for on Meadow looks like they have a set play they do ball comes out good save there you're going to come out and be aggressive on that corner gotta like that [Music] thank you this is trouble good lay there by number 17 Mac to put it stop on a great play by Max he's pulling it down that's what we're talking about that's what we're talking about being first to the ball [Music] all right [Music] I
found it [Applause] cramp cramp looks like a cramp getting it stretched out it's a very hot humid night gotta be very well hydrated Hannah Moreno has played very aggressively all night long she's been running up and down the field hasn't really gotten up gotten a break and it's been just an absolute stall work on defense um really putting a lot of pressure on her from this side of the field all night you can tell that that's really cramped four minutes and 45 seconds remaining in the game she's played uh 35 minutes and 15 seconds of consecutive soccer sorry 75 minutes and 15 seconds [Applause] [Music] good shielding right there I use Roman giving the goalie a good opportunity to save it Boot It Up good play there looks like it might have been off the
shoulder but really gave me some oh safe that's gonna go um [Music] is the wrist here [Music] Pharmacy play there by Lizzy Roman chase down clearly it's like these long medals been trying to attack that right hand side here for the last about 15 minutes or so of this of this half I always get somebody wide open there in the middle kicked out getting Chase and moved around I can't see why we have people that are kind of like standing around here but we do is going to be it's like Reno stretching it out over there don't think coach is going to put her back in the game even though it wasn't cramping who knows you never know looks like uh it's like coach white did yeah a little bit risky fumbling around everywhere ball
goes back out of bounds again thank you [Music] thank you and then it's remaining I'm not sure why the clock is stopped but there's a rule there maybe as the ball goes I guess that's how it works [Music] sticking away oh yeah it's in the middle of the field I like this [Music] [Applause] thank you [Music] one minute and 15 seconds remaining it's going to be a free kit opportunity here not sure if this is going to go direct or whether it's indirect but you didn't know this it's going to be a shot and it is [Applause] 66 seconds [Music] remaining into the second half together [Music] foreign [Music] Grace Stefano oh it looks like this one's going to end it up great matchup between Crosstown Rivals looks like it's going to end [Applause] thank
you gotta go in I don't think so if you go back to the instant replay it really depends if the ball has to cross the line before the buzzer then I'm demonstrating can continue after that is then I would say that was Noble what an absolutely amazing game and an amazing finish we're gonna catch that this is going to be the most watched Hellcat Replay in a very long time coach this is going to go back to the audio and through the video but I think the video evidence will show that the ball did not cross the line I think the player's head may have hit the ball before the buzzer but I do not believe that the ball crossed the line what an exciting entrance of the game we've been all watching this one
