okay good evening ladies and gentlemeno here Michael Shields [Music] .com 79 degrees lots of fans a beautiful day [Music] dominating performance against his home Leominster crossing our rivalry [Music] prepared [Music] had the opportunity to get some film on each other looking for a great matchups Starting In A Circle Goose club now is going to be ally Thompson on the draw along with Megan morno on the circle and a marina and we are all folks and the first one is awesome Megan morno has it coming up the left-hand side gets it over to senior co-captain Bridget Jordan it's a little bit of a low pass there a little quick turnover a little nerves there on the pass and yes it became so the Nerds are up all goes out of bounds on a pass so it's
gonna go immediately to Leominster number one is carrying it here a little penalty there now getting chased again from behind coming after the job called drops Leominster was its first offensive opportunity number 12 for Leominster santushi basketball over there on the right hand side Lannister has an outstanding and outstanding office not sure why that wasn't a shooting space there but Paul gets the ground test and all picks it up and again a little bit of a little bit of nerves right there another turnover by East Longmeadow did a great job there on defense to knock it out of sand stand two feet stick and then pick it up all right [Applause] there it is a little sidearm shot right there with a lot of power first blood drawn by Leominster one nothing a minute and
a half into the game they're all giving up already number 12 Gabriella Santucci quick way there she really created a lot of space for herself and then ranked one in the back of the net draw coming here same same people on it picked up by Allie Thompson exit over to Canada Marina over to Captain Bridget Jordan East Longmeadow getting its second opportunity here see if they can maintain a little better possession good opportunity right there passed by Megan morno daddy Jordan who was cutting she tried to put one in the top of the net just a little bit high but East Longmeadow very nicely backs it up Anna macarini with the ball behind the cage in a very familiar spot thank you yeah really good transition right there they got through the ride and it's
got it into the clear they've cleared Leominster with its second possession good job by East Longmeadow to get back there on defense Leominster setting up it's setting up its offense it looks like leominster's got actually a pretty good offensive plan here they've been having so far I mean girls wide open just like that I mean just wide open in the middle of it I mean the cutters to right off the bat not even really three minutes into this game and Leominster up 2-0 two offensive possessions and two goals one Mr goals for number five Lila Melendez won by Melendez one by Santucci two of their seniors who obviously their best players both midfielders High goal scorers for Leominster like what do you see so far [Music] we get a chance to take it away we
gotta yeah so far I mean really a good job on the drop on the draw control for East Longmeadow I think they're they might be three for three on the draw control so far but draw control is a little different than the scoreboard athletic catch [Applause] she wasn't going to shoot that one over she puts it in the back of the net gives East Longmeadow a little bit room here 2-1 lemons the first goal is always available yeah I think it helps Mike I think you're exactly right it gets a little bit of the nerves out they know now that they can they're going to be able to put it see what happens here on this draw it's really flipped up high [Applause] you know she gets followed she gets followed on the side Ally
Thompson's got it on the side back up to Bridget Jordan Bridget Jordan looking moves it over to number five Addie Jordan who's coming around the cage still coming around the cage gets it to Megan morno she's triple teamed but here comes uh Here Comes Leominster in the clear number 12 Sam Sushi and there you go hammered again continue moving oh no a little bit of a long pass there by number 22 Grace Howard just a little strong on the pass Swan Meadows ride not as effective as it usually is we were able to just run that thing through and clear it now Leominster is going to set up its offense it's like Santa Sushi again over on the on the right hand side of the cage for those of you watching on lcat a nice
production being put on again by Jamie rook and Don Mackey who do a great job for lcat for all of the East Longmeadow residents not just for girls lacrosse and Sports in general but all sorts of all sorts of things for fatalities Leominster really taking its time here comes number nine she is just not gonna get caught on this one she's moving [Music] just a lot of sloppy play so far for East Longmeadow on the um on offense just the really uncaused turnovers either in the clear or in the or in the uh or in the offensive zone before I think four turnovers already and really none of them were paused chipping up that rust right those nerves yeah a little bit like I see them already yeah the other goal is going to make
them feel good [Music] yeah they're gonna put number four behind I mean this is a little this is a much better is a much better ride right here you know that was a turnover but it's with Jordan there I think is not finished with a finished with a check it would have been it just it would have been uh you know would have been a turnover just finished I think she did lose it she didn't lose it out of the stick [Applause] in the offensive zone just again another really sloppy turnover by East Longmeadow I mean they really need to settle their offense down take their time get looks like they've got to get people to get possession they're trying to I think hurry it up when they really don't need to I think if
they settle down on offense a little bit uh you know being a little better shape right now 2-1 Leominster still with 17 minutes uh 17 minutes remaining again just really really sloppy play by East Longmeadow you know really challenging pass right there by Ali Thompson I mean Bridget Jordan was open but the pass was in a really difficult place to catch it just seemed to me there that Thompson Navy could have just run that one over the restraining line and then just set up the offense but East Longmeadow back on its ride Addie Jordan really putting applying a ton of pressure here there it goes and now they're coming back again putting just a lot of pressure on a lot of pressure on this ride here we go [Applause] why he's just gonna kind of
make sure right get get it over the line please everyone's claiming right here and there it is we are over the restraining line setting up the offense for East Longmeadow Bridget Jordan number seven has it I'm back from Reno Reno that's going to be potentially doing a good job [Music] yeah yeah meter opportunity here at Kenna Marina with an opportunity to opportunity to tie the game I'm gonna run this one in if he does [Applause] [Music] not sure what happened there exactly but Hannah Marino tried to run it in a good check there from behind [Music] through GPS I wish I could Anna's room where are the GPS and that is just not you know it was kind of like a blind shot and you can't really do that in girls lacrosse if the follow
through hits the player it's an automatic yellow card a two-minute penalty and so now a little bit of a delay here as we kind of make sure everybody medically is okay reset coach Moses and Coach Mazza over there trying to evaluate kind of what to do not that anything spiraled out of control but clearly I think Leominster um is playing better right now sure just having I like our defense really gets kind of six out of six right here both teams have a player and both teams have a player in the penalty box and a Macarena coming out Carolina casing coming in [Applause] um 3-1 Leominster good shot there a low rider off stick side number one Emma Miller Ayala number nine on the assist ance [Music] success on the draw so far I think
they've won all of the draws up to this point Ali Thompson doing a great job along with Hannah Moreno and Megan morno on a circle Howie Thompson's been doing it looks like kind of a lot of self-draws that are really flipping them up high this one on the ground is picked up again by Leominster looks like Leominster is going to set up a very similar play here a little delay here is a fall somehow made its way out of the field I think some kids were practicing on the uh the East Longmeadow wall and it may have just happened to come over the fence and it made its way out of the field we're still six on six [Music] leominster's been doing a really good job of getting people trying to wide open for shots
so far [Music] the pass in there just stick control by number one and here they come now [Music] very good save still going to was bringing that ball from transition up the left-hand side got push out of bounds so it's a restart gets it up the bridge of Jordan they're really it's like leominster's playing a little bit of a Zone here got one on one Addie Jordan San soucy right there and then they're off and then they're often transition hey you hear the fans screaming there but Addie Jordan uh number five and kind of Mourinho number one we're really just chasing her down and then it was a trip and fall there was nothing intentional about that number one kind of surrounded minister is back Zone and like they've really had a tremendous level of
success here um even that last save I mean it was a great save but they were really able to get off an outstanding shot I mean their efficiency is really really high and trying to shots on goal percentage and really what they're trying to do here they really seem to have a very very concrete plan and that's just why though it's just wide open I mean it's wide open house Eastland metal is going to have to come up with some type of answer for that for those Putters because they're not even being covered [Applause] um [Music] 11 minutes and 40 seconds remaining here in the first half [Music] I want to see if someone will win this face often in the circle and start to change the momentum of this uh breathing moments of life
[Music] yeah I just get a little activity and you know I just think maintaining I just think the maintaining of possession would be oh a good thing it was a good pass I mean she was open kind of Marino had it from behind see if Rubino can get this one in I mean he's very fast [Applause] thank you yeah I mean you were mentioning it you said that they needed to win that draw they did I mean that was you know Hannah Moreno kicked that ground ball up immediately got to order me Jordan Jordan Memorial [Music] they can do it again [Music] Leominster on the draw let's see what these folks Moses is going to change things up a little bit or if you slot I mean they just look very stagnant she's trying to
fire him up Jeff I see her up down there it's like a lot of a lot of walk a lot of kind of walking around and just kind of seeing what's going on but I see what Leominster is going to do here though they're rough four two looks like they're kind of something like this kind of roll through I mean again right there number 12. yeah right for the middle caught the ball no problem and he's on metal hadn't crashed that was going to be another you know it was either gonna have to do a great save or it was going to be above here we go again it's kind of gonna be looks like it's going to be this very similar very similar play we'll do the fake pass there she kept it you're
really just looking for the cutter open the middle certainly be very patient right now with the ball very patient they're waiting for their look if they get their look they're going to take it [Music] a lot of rock ball movement too setting up for the play [Applause] [Music] [Applause] oh no oh I don't think that was good [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it's gonna be out of the 12 meters so it's not really going to be enough an immediate opportunity [Applause] and then they get the ball out in transition got a penalty and then we're able to really put that one in it up same people on the draw number nine for Leominster Kylie Megan porno [Music] again [Music] one by number 12. number one and the Miller Ayala has it for really spreading out the offense
here with eight minutes left it's like they're really just gonna move this ball around and that looks like they're trying to force East Longmeadow out to open up space in the middle down there comes the cutter [Music] it's gonna bring the paint Leominster Ballroom it was very close double team we call it a slide right there thank you foreign really good play she stood her ground at number 12 saying Susie just backed into where it's holding play right there Calabrese Calabrese we gotta wind it up we're kind of far out for that but she kind of just wound up and went for it Thompson was there I'm not sure what happened I have to see that one on the video [Applause] good ground ball pick up right there by Islam Meadow to maintain possession after
that he just lost it right near the door [Music] Jordan Jordan tomorrow together it's a tough one right there I'm not so sure about that I'm gonna get a penalty on uh penalty on Leominster joining us now in the pool taking over momentarily with Mike Shields [Applause] [Music] all right [Applause] [Music] has it she's coming out [Applause] on offense all things being considered it got a little rough a little bit towards the end of the year but they've really kind of come around here for the state tournament they breathe a second you know they got some CPR right at the end of the season and they'll do some new life back some new life back in I got here a lot of movement here on the circle making more on going over to the other
side good one there and just bring it back she is temporarily temporarily went the wrong way Megan Borno chasing down number nine I I agree as a as a goal already number 12 some sushi with the gold number one Emma Miller and again Leominster really just taking its time right here moving the ball around slowly really trying to set something up it really looks like they're trying to set up you know to move the East Palmetto offense off of that eight meter all right [Applause] who's just moving it down the field oh I can understand what we're doing on these transitions very difficult passes instrumental they're throwing the ball too high they're just rushing on offense for no reason just seems like they can just set things up and they are having success but all
these uncaused turnovers have really been the difference I think in the first half what do you think [Applause] foreign [Applause] foreign there it is again just sloppy play on offense uncaused turnovers after some great defense there by Bridget Jordan on the ride to get it back but then just turns it right back over and see she's got it again Leominster kind of doing the same thing [Music] yeah they've been doing a little bit better job I think since you know about 12 minutes remaining in this half actually you know they've gotten some turnovers some cause and some some not but they're definitely doing they're definitely doing a better job there was another one right I mean just a great catch in the middle there do it a really good look right there Megan morno and
Caroline basic with a great safe ball is up ball is out [Music] not sure what happened there I guess it's going to be a call on Talia Weiss didn't see much there it seemed like that was gonna that was chasing us down that's been a great fact check there by Paula White [Music] okay that'll put a little bruise on your back right there but you know that's that's difficult to cross just trying to do her best coming out of the game anyway up by four one minute and 30 seconds remaining it's been a interesting first half lots of turnovers by you Stone metal a really good early start by Leominster it's just that early start because not much has happened thank you sister love sister [Applause] play for four years [Music] and this year she
has really accepted the wall and gone from you know goal scorer to leader and her assist making in passing has been absolutely Memphis for the last like six or seven games has really come together Jordan on the draw again ball goes up [Music] and seriously using a height Advantage there over Mourinho on the gloss Circle to pick that one up good move there by Talia rice good play a little aggressive defense usually you see a call there of some sort yeah bye the putter open there trying to pin inside oh man he puts the Twizzler in size foreign [Music] ER from number 12 San Souci got it out on a risky pass to morno got it up to Addie Jordan they tried to set up a play they score with seven seconds remaining in the
first half to give East Longmeadow Spartans to lead seven to four divine right there um great time I really appreciate Jillian you joining us in the half to give us a little perspective and a outstanding student athlete you are yourself looking forward to seeing you on the soccer field in the fall good morning to you thank you foreign thank you foreign thank you foreign [Music] a lot of girls it's hard again Sally Thompson on the draw Megan Megan Borno and Kenna Marino on the circle and they are off so far here we go back to number nine foreign [Music] comes back out again I'm putting some pressure on they can move some people around ball hits the ground [Applause] yeah it was uh at the end of the day that was um yeah number six
and then with the wide open alley Thompson underneath and she wasn't going to be denied or East Longmeadow Megan morno now taking the draw Addie Jordan on the circle [Music] [Applause] he's moving and they're going to do a reset here all right what happened they've got to put a body on her here looks like Kalia Weiss is gonna do just that Minister's gonna set up really good speed there by santoshi the Jeff defense got that quick too yeah really you gotta really like the hustle there to get back on defense [Music] defense Leominster really just trying to find that cutter looks like there would be one and there is oh another one this one is gonna make its way out of bounds but Minister did a good job possession you know it's only affordable lead
the Lemaster is being pretty patient still yeah there's a lot of time like left and left in this half 22 minutes for 22 minutes remaining there I mean they're really you know it's clear to me what leominster's play is they're they're looking they're looking for a putter um and they're they were very successful early on with that strategy but East Longmeadow kind of tightened up its defense and then putting a little more pressure on those Cutters they're making those passes a little bit harder to be successful but I really do like leominster's off-ball movement I agree to put in the lane too what's happening some of the defenses a good forcing offbound shots right there yeah I mean a good I will say a great play there by Santucci I mean she was she was
double or double covered police and she was able to then get that left-handed we had an opportunity that one shot up from there oh nicely [Applause] and she is [Music] tall person [Music] looks like it's gonna be you know that's the one of the things [Music] Megan [Applause] again save there by Jenna Hawley number nine past Megan morno and had an opportunity she took the shot only saved it they've only got it out of her stick right away as Mormon was running down the field didn't say better myself Jeff exactly the same thing well Mike that's why you're in the mood good thing we think a lot yes what am I thinking right now uh you're thinking that you'd love to you're thinking about the rainbows nine four East Longmeadow Spartans 20 minutes remaining oh
yeah all right I like it I like it I like the aggressive play there by Leominster I mean they're showing that they've got a little spark and a little fire coming again this time though Leominster is kind of set Leominster is set up on our setup so we're going to take a little bit of time here okay Jordan with the ball up tops now over to senior Bridget Jordan's got it East London really appears to be taking your time right now I'm heading Jordan over uh really taking your time all right I mean really right there beautiful dish there by Bridget Jordan had an opportunity who looked like he was going to do something with it good play there to keep it alive awesome oh almost did a lot of activity but I do like
I do like the patience he had an opportunity there but just a little bit of a follow through so she's gonna yeah two minutes in our proverbial yellow chairs here so we'll see if um Leominster can get their offense going here now that they're a woman up for two minutes [Music] early will be on the sidelines for two phones you change the gameplay I do think at this point they're down five goals what [Applause] [Music] um now they're two women now this is really a little bit [Applause] my Mr Golden number 12 Gabriella I mean this is really if the down is really gonna be yeah [Music] Moses calls a timeout to really set up some type of plan or uh for being too it's a great call too yeah yeah wow all the timeout
the settings [Music] down in the field referees have done a very good job tonight for the most part I think is great appropriate got our athletic director down there on the field great job gonna happen oh yeah [Music] got some energy [Music] [Applause] [Music] that's going to be a dangerous shot in a yellow car so another yellow card coming number one Emma Miller Ayala with a yellow card on another follow through this is a very physical game very active very aggressive towards the crowd s well I mean this would have been this would have been the opportunity to do that that is what is possible [Applause] 10 seconds [Music] I don't know um [Music] South Carolina oh my God that's probably [Music] it's been a good look there by Bridget Jordan was looking for new
things that he was a good look a little bit of a tough try to set up the ride [Music] Our Stars oh my God [Applause] including websites like we AK Game Changer in terms of momentum Allison fans are you can see some of the lacrosse dads with their arms crossed heads and legs bouncing not happy about that whatsoever yeah we got ten six at least more metal 14 minutes and 45 seconds remaining let's go foreign [Music] number nine um [Applause] number 12. yeah I mean definitely whole game um [Music] thank you right now yo [Music] stay away [Applause] all right here [Applause] tomorrow short here he laughed right through the Stick of the cutter [Music] down the field [Music] [Applause] [Music] s [Applause] to ride pressure on right here instead of 10 minutes foreign [Music]
Jordan [Music] oh there you go shot everybody yeah moving around [Music] what nobody else [Music] eight minutes [Music] long Meadows offensive possessions have really slowed down down [Music] and defend them try to open up that middle I've really seen that all year raw Megan [Music] I'm sorry and uh yeah [Music] anything happens [Music] it wasn't too bad you hear some stuff from the fans wasn't too too bad [Applause] [Music] tough pass right there a little bit too high not sure Chase for a stop here yeah I'm amazing well it looks like it is [Music] Emma Miller [Music] Leominster take each time down five goals with six minutes remaining they're taking their time they're working for that open putter right there it was and there it is going to be an eight meter opportunity for Leominster
number nine by the way it's always a challenge thanks I I almost did it to Mark macaroni he does a great job every game when I do commentate that I have a washer Lannisters home less nobody moved it was it was really odds mentioned that it must be true that he started early and listen up for a whistle and also see if that is [Music] imagine that yeah you can't have these enforced unforced [Music] for an opportunity foreign started [Music] he's got it she gets it over to Addie Jordan oh my God thank you that's exactly what you can't have happen right there just giving an opportunity do something she did leave very early on that shot intense defense really taking their time they just wanna they're gonna want to put this one in they've
got somebody just kind of standing right in front of the ball they're waiting [Music] back to number nine Community being guarded by Alia Weiss and Anna Marino they're looking for a putter they're really looking for Santucci because [Applause] one possession where they just need to really just try to lock down forced turnovers [Applause] [Music] using her speed chasing her down too two of the fastest players I go is Hannah Marino gets it over maybe four minutes having a really good defensive really good defensive effort seemed a little bit unnecessary to have to put in that type of defensive stand all things being considered they've had it in the offensive zone keep it here [Applause] uses Frank uses her skill uses her power and her shot accuracy instrumental exactly another great individual effort there by adding
Jordan 12 7 3 minutes and 29 seconds remaining coach Moses and Coach Mazza getting just getting a little bit excited if you think I believe it would be the first time East Longmeadow girls lacrosse has made its way to a state semi-final ever literally literally I'm not sure pick that one up and a timeout right there by coach Moses gonna set up the last three minutes of the game play [Music] yeah players complaining about it normally that's an area where coach Moses can really get you know it seems like an appreciating errors [Music] I think you know the officials here have done a phenomenal job okay throughout the game Gotta Give a big shout out to referees for all that they do it thank you [Music] except [Music] playing heading back three minutes left in
the game [Music] bro we're gonna get a yellow card and really make that just about wraps it up I know a woman down right now with two women down with two minutes remaining you can see that they're upset but you can't blame her I mean they're just trying to find a way to find a way to get back um you know unfortunately penalty penalty was called and now they're going to be running down it just seems like he saw metals believe it I'm not so sure Coach line that shot there with two minutes remains I mean it was white out it was Italians he was really just trying to do ask the future to try to cause a turnover and get to get the ball back she doesn't have an ankle brace on it's like
a basketball really just trying to do the best oh geez [Music] I'm gonna fight for that yeah a good fight back there oh [Music] Game Zone for sure on the absolute unforced errors and cause turnovers but all in all defensively what a real big turnaround from the first you know 15 minutes all right and then flurry just before halftime really it's a stage here look at the back of the video you're gonna see those three or four goals under two minutes [Applause] [Music] 20 seconds [Music] um [Music] but a gritty performance definitely didn't have their best stuff but they thousands away calories Calabrese throws the ball out of bounds three seconds remaining [Applause] models [Music] all right [Music] ladies [Music] in the beginning good morning [Music] thanks guys all right thank you thank you congratulations
on a great season and I'd like to turn mobile determinaries attention to the center of the field to congratulate our number four ranked diesel metal sputters on advancing to the division two final four [Applause] please come to the middle of the field to receive your trophy and family [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] people Kevin [Music] okay that's it
