of our national anthem [Music] foreign [Music] me [Music] what's up welcome to east long middle high school for tonight's playoff matchup between the westfield bombers and your east long meadow spartans i'm brady dobeck alongside chad o'brien it's going to be a good one it's a 54 degrees little chilly overcast but i think we're gonna have a good game here chad i agree east salmatto has had a very strong season so far i believe division two number two in the states so far and they they've just been playing outstanding they've got a lot of seniors on the team i haven't seen much of westfield yet do you do you have the insight on that i have a knowledge but i believe they're number eight as of right now so it doesn't really matter at this point
there's always upsets in any sport you know it doesn't matter what the rank is is going to come out flying westfield's got to come out flying and they've got to play all the way to the end of the buzzer and see who wins yes we do so without further ado kickoff is off is coming up in a couple seconds here and we'll be underway westfield bombers will start with the ball ball comes to kirana chrono will try and touch it up but it's blocked pachetto with it now and nikita knocks it out a bounce throwing for east longmeadow colin evans with the head ball over to luke mazza mazza looking for his options gives it to sonny mazza who crosses it crossfield over to ryan brunell who gets a one-touch shot on that and it
goes just wide an opportunity early for saw metal there just barely went right to the net but burnell had a good shot there van oosten everyone had a layout for that one close call there and newsfeed will send it up to ellison that goes off his like islam and i'll throw on for jacob paschetto up to sonny mazza mazza with the ball touches it over to brunel brunell crosses it back into mazza mazz is doing one on two inside the 18. westfield gains possession and sends it up to midfield stevens will boot it back in a little miss kick there from number 16 in westfield ends up on luke mazz's foot he'll create some space more no battling bush and stevens will head it over to brunel grinnell crosses it into the middle and it's
kicked out of bounds so far westfield has not been able to control it in offensive territory he's somehow just dominating right now well midfield kirana to brunel brunel will rip a shot on net and it goes off the pylon or the crossbar of the uprights and it's going to be a westfield goal kick for van oostveen once again we apologize in advance we butchers anybody's name tonight to edelson gained by jacob paschetto he'll send it to brunel brunell cross field over to luke mazza and it just takes a skip hop over maz's head and goes out of bounds westfield throwing for bush bush gives it to lacorie luke mazza steals it tries to find brunell far side but it's cleared out by velez brunel and velez battling valez a little push off there ball goes
out of bounds it's going to be an east long meadow throwing brunel the more now ben weldon a little touch on net goes out of bounds off of westfield that's going to be a corner kick so far some offensive dominance from east long meadows shown early correct now esau metal will go to take this corner kick here who will that be more no and he's been an offensive threat this season he'll look to send it to the middle and hopefully they can capitalize morneau sends it to the top of the 18. nobody's home westfield working to get the ball out and they will valez is just going to clear it out of bounds allows his team to regroup weldon will be taking the throwing little light on the fanfare tonight but we've got some students
walking in now the girls will be playing later tonight at seven o'clock for their first playoff game of season pachetta with the ball now back to karana karana one touch pass more no more no finds evans evans tries to get a shot on and it's just left to the post vanesspin will be taking the goal kick he'll boot it up to midfield craft chuck ball stolen by kirana to luke mazza to sonny mazza and back to luke mazza luke mazza races up the side a pullback move ball is stolen but shettle is able to knock it down and keep it in the zone luke mazza sends it over to karana at the top of the box tomorrow no more no is going to rip a shot on net but it's blocked by the corey ball
goes to the corner to pachetta pachetta will try and cross it in front of the net and van oostveen comes up with a stop they're going to say that ball was out of bounds on pachetto's cross so vanessa is going to have a goal kick here out to midfield salopa pachetto takes the ball to evans well corey tries a little scorpion heel touch to himself it's a whistle west westfield will have a free kick and blonde will send it up it's headed by jacob paschetto collins gains control karana tries to get a touch loses it but more knows there to support him mourinho sends it up to the attacking side for luke mazza ball trickles out of bounds off of bush east long metal throwing bruschetta throws it inside the 18 and finds evans evans
can't get a head on it ball comes up to mazza mazza can't put it home weldon will take a shot on net but it's blocked edelson send it to salopa salopa back to edelson edelson a give-and-go pass to salopa salopa's got some running room masa contests him slopa to the middle tries to find crab chuck and he just misses brunel the ball now east law mello making their way back into the offensive zone a cross pass to luke mazza up the sideline mazda's racing in turns his hips gets the cross on and evans buries it one nothing east long meadow a great play from luke mazza a through ball mazza turns the hips finds evans far post and evans just one touches it in past then usfeen now who had that uh that pass around
the 40-yard line uh i believe it was was that brunel or evans i it was it was it was one of the two it could have honestly been standing past that everything out just a great play it was a great play whoever did the through ball kind of quite honestly it was someone on the left side is evans or might even have ben weldon i think it was evans who had the secondary assist on his own goal that was a great play great assist to a self goal from evans salopa dribbling now bush with it he'll just send it in the middle patrick stevens no problem there just going to clear it out evan's a one touch up to joe president i believe on the sideline presnel paddles ball goes out of bounds off a
press westfield throwing morneau goes up for it sonny maz has got some running room and van usefien is gonna come out and pounce on that ball 30 50 remaining in this first half ball goes out of bounds it's going to be east long metal throwing for enzo mazza or excuse me jacob paschetto the shadow finds more no in the middle more no just ball rolls just off his toe comes out to dante bates in the middle bates gets the ball touched around him by lacori presnell finds bates in a breakup defensive play there i think number eight of westfield number nine you can't tell mccorry racing up the sideline cut back move he'll send it cross into the middle to craft chuck crab chuck goes down and he is staying down ball comes off johnny
mazza sonny maz is racing up the sideline touch pass into the middle find trying to find monroe and evans will just try and rip one on that crab chuck is up on his it's feet to see they're just shaking off uh let's be maybe a little bit of a bruise and it's gonna be a corner kick now for east long meadow ryan morneau morneau crosses it in to dante bates ball comes up to stephen stevens tries to get a one-timer to sonny mazza dante bates will take a shot on net his legs get taken out from under him he goes down but no call in the play so we got to see a little bit of some s feel wes excuse me westfield offensive attack there more no head balls when roll chase it down
to bulan it comes to pachetto lacori sends it up to edelson and it's broken up by enzo mazza enzo mazza will send it cross field over to presnel fresno is able to regain control to dante bates to moreno moreno crossing in the middle to evans and evans gets a foot on it but it just sails over the crossbar another good look there for evans these salmon is just absolutely dominating so far they have plenty of shots on that so far westfield i don't know do they have one i don't i don't even think they have a shot they've had a little bit of offensive uh possession but it seems like east longmeadow when they're when they're on the attack everybody's on the attack the defenseman the midfielders and the strikers everybody's up in the play
and westfield it just seems like some of the defenders are hanging back a little bit yeah the westfield's just having a tough time getting into the offensive zone with with numbers i mean east palmetto has had an efficient breakout the defenders have been able to shut everything down so far and so i mean you get you got some speed up there with for westfield with salopa and and uh craft chuck but they always seem to be outnumbered yep i mean even drew's playing aggressively i've been seeing him around midfield almost like when the ball is in westfield zone salopa one touch pass over to finney and he's contested by presnel president was beaten and there's no whistle on the play foul on east long meadow so it's gonna be a free westfield kick 26.40 remaining
in this first half it is a one-nothing game spartans have the lead over the westfield bombers edelson with a kick he's going to send it way up trying to find salopa for a head ball he saw metal's defense is able to keep it out bush now and pass is broken up by bates bates will just clear it out comes back to bates presnel tries to get a touch on it weldon's there to back him up presnel pass tomorrow no borneau tries to find mazza in the middle edelson with a little chip nobody's home there clee or no steals that ball give him go to presnel and westfield's able to take possession chip pass up to salopa and mazza does a good job of blocking off salopa using his body and giroud is just going to
scoop that one up looks like there's a little bit of words exchanged there between mazz on the ref perhaps on the contact morneau with a pullback spin move to get past crab chuck dante bates with the ball he'll switch fields to pachetto bashadow up the sideline of morneau monroe excuse me one row to dante bates in the middle and it's stolen by crab chuck and giroud's just gonna send that one all the way up the field to mazza bounces over the head of the westfield defender and mazza and i can't tell a number that is i think 17 kinery both go down so van usveen was able to scoop that ball up possible dangerous play there from east longmeadow could have put this could have added one there really quickly and ball is out of
bounds off of east long meadow a little aggressive prey that play there from fresno good usage of the of uh the body by these east long metal players able to screen and block westfield players and bump them off the ball they do go good job and ball goes out of bounds again awful you saw metal players foot westfield throwing more now slight pass back to weldon but weldon can't find any options he kicks it out of bounds another westfield throwing more no sends it into the middle stolen by edelson monroe takes the ball he's got mazza to his left tries to find mazza it's cleared out right tomorrow no morneau can't do much with it and valez is just gonna boot that thing out it's gonna be throw in weldon will take this one so
far and once again westfield is just desperately kicking it out and they haven't been able to get an attack going we've got some subs coming in ryan brunell come on karana and somebody else i'm not sure but they'll replace dante bates joe presnell and mike monroe and that was mad with an opportunity there corner kick for east long meadow will be corn ah it will be i didn't think someone was signaling to the ref that it was awful westfield player so now once again marino will come to take this corner kick more now sets sends it far post looking for evans evans gets a head on it ball comes out to salopa slope is by himself and a nice touch move and he'll send it through ball up to i can't tell who's the number
that is 20 yeah well someone was running for a through ball oh i want to say but anyways he was off sides so he saw him out of free kick i'm pretty sure it was lacroix going for the through ball there might have been clee i think clee overlapped all the way back from the defensive position and he seems a little uh upset right now salopa definitely had him but waited a little too long and that's what caused klee to get pushed off sides salopa touch over to fortier mazza sends it up to luke mazza a little too much on that one ball goes out of bounds throw in for bush luke mazza gets a head ball on it back and forth they go with the head balls and burnell and valez go flying after
the 50 50. amman coronals try and find brunel brunel touches it to sonny mazza who will rip a shot on end it's just wide of the right side some nice quick touches there from east long meadow able to get a quick shot off van hoosfeen getting a lot of action early mazda was able to get a great first touch there and turn it to the inside and get a lefty shot clee gets a head ball ball goes to the middle weldon to evans evans to brunel brunel to mazza mazza tries to get a touch move around boulonn blonde is able to break it up burns tries to send it up to salopa ryan brunell with the ball now velez will contest him he sends it to morneau mourinho to evans evans to corona corona will
go cross fields and switch it up to pachetta but shettle's got some options sends it to mazza to moreno morneau is just going to touch it up to mazza hopefully create some space for him and it's broken up by burns clea with it he'll send it far side to burns burns up to salopa salopa tries to find four tier in the middle broken up and morneau is just going to send that ball up to midfield and it's going to scoot past bulan mazza's with it now he's getting chased down by bush mazzus makes a cut move inside outside up to sunny mazza ball comes free back to colin evans he'll try and just rip a shot on that but it's blocked ball comes back to more no more no volley and get a shot on
van usme and it's scooped up by him ben ooze fiendl pumped it to midfield mourinho head balls it to evans evans out wide to brunel brunel will switch fields to pachetto pachetta is just going to rip a steep shot on net and sails it high and right over the fence 17 40 remaining in this first half we got a real one-nothing game and we gotta remember chad that we did get a little bit of rain so the turf is wet the ball is wet it's gonna create some slippery conditions and uh even even shots they're going to skid off the turf so the goalies got to be aware of that it can be a difficult save to make salopa to fortier fortier tries to find salopa weldon blocks that one down fortier cutback move bracelin
with it [Music] weldon tries to clear it out wide to bush bushel self pass tries to get around paschetto both 16s are on the ball now and but shettle does a great job of screening the ball and it goes out of bounds and bush is going to get a little extra touch on that one to make geru go go for a quick run and warm up a little bit once again east long meadow players using their body drew goalkick up to midfield evan's looking to receive it's footed down by clee carano sends it to brunel velez on brunell brunel regains possession tries to find evans just goes off his shin a heel ball off of burns and it's going to go out of bounds it'll be welding to take this now we have a sub
for east sal meadow that's dante bates coming in and calling evans coming out and now weldon will come to take this throwing well then tries to find sonny mazza valez with a nice defensive play dante bates a soft touch into space for brunel brunell gives it to luke mazza and luke mazza tries to go back door on the outside to brunel but a little too much heat behind that one and it's going to go out of bounds for a goal kick for van usfeen 15 minutes remaining in the first half seats are starting to fill up luke mazzle much as usual though yeah not as much as usual rainy day it's 4 30 game yep happens for corey battling with stevens all goes out of bounds off of mccorry they're all in for jacob pachetto
he's out now oh yeah he's over on the sideline so i'm sure who's subbed in from i believe colin evans came back in so oh yeah yeah yep more no sends up the sideline to mazza as a cuts back middle trying to find brunel at the top of the 18 but it's cleared more no now ball ends up on evan's foot heavens and velez and far side battling evans will send it to weldon well then goes to brunel in the middle and cleese taken down jacob paschetto now touch pass to luke mazza giving go back to pashetto to the middle to colin evans and colin evans has two a great play there a give and go between luke mazzle and jacob paschetto buscetto is able to turn the hips and find colin evans in the
middle evans once again a nice little touch right over his head two nothing east longmeadow and there will be some words exchanged there between the westfield goaltender and the referee perhaps the western goaltender thought there was an offsides there but he disagrees so now esau meadow leads two nothing with 13 30 remaining first half [Applause] that was a shadow to evans there to repeat these slime metals got a lot of speed and and they certainly use it on their attacks yep they've got i mean colin evans great footwork got a lot of speed mike monroe and they got the mazzas i mean a lot of speed up top and the defense of islam does a good job of overlapping each other and creating some give and go situations which as you see there jacob paschetta
being uh right back overlapping and creates a scoring chance and nissan metal is able to cash in throwing for westfield presnel and weldon over there battling with burns it's cleared up by velez to salopa salopa and mazza mazza goes down and salopa but mazza just goes right through salopa and salopa goes down and enzo mazza is exchanging a couple words with the ref no cards so a free kick for westfield for fortier small wall in front of fortier with brunell and monroe fortier we'll go far post and i think burns might have gotten a slight head on it they're gonna say went off out of east long meadow so it's gonna be a corner kick corner kick four i think number 14 shea burns of westfield a fake touch by bush and it comes up
to fortier fortier rips one but it's blocked bush with the ball now and fresno and brunel race up la corey's able to take it from brunel and tries to send it up to fortier with stevens is able to clear it boulonn sends it sky high stevens off his shin we've seen a lot of those um little attempts to like get a touch on the ball and it just kind of skids off their shins chad i'm not sure that could be obviously to the wetness of the ball but it's happened a couple of defenders i've seen defenders get beat slide tackle there from valez on presnel and ball comes up to fortier weldon into the middle of the salopa and ben giroux comes up with a huge save [Applause] salopa tried to just chip it up
and over giroud and giroud is there to knock it down and gather it in what a save drew there and weldon for getting back on defense he was able to force that pass early enough where weldon was drew was able to make a play on just one guy instead of having to deal with two a prime scoring opportunity for westfield east long metal throwing for dante bates joe president comes out of the game jacob paschetto tries to find colin evans salopa and dante bates salopa comes back to enzo mazza it's blocked by fortier monroe into the middle of the morneau mourinho out wide to mazza mazza ball's deflected and comes back up to bait space is just gonna send it out of bounds and westfield throwing for ethan velez a couple offensive opportunities there westfield
was almost uh almost able to get by mazza there for a breakaway but he was able to stop it but you somehow's got to keep their composure here they have a two-nothing lead but i can change within a second two nothing leads are are the hardest lead to hold in any sporting event you get a goal you get the momentum soon you know the other team is putting up two three four and then you're trailing but hopefully isla metal seems to be doing a good job of staying calm and keeping their composure a ball inside mazza just sent that one up to dante bates and van oosten i think the goaltender was kind of deceived because he thought uh completely taken off guard i think he thought it was going to get redirected off a
header i i i bates might have gotten a foot on it i'm not sure but i saw i think evans i think dante bates was able to get a foot on it so i think that's his goal oh it was it was enzo mazza excuse me dante bates not going to foot on it so enzo mazzo with a rocket from 40 yards out and gets it passed vanituspine phenosphine didn't even get a finger on it i mean it just took a bounce and skidded right into the net three-nothing east-long metal great shot enzo mazza sends it up to morneau ball goes out of bounds so far east long meadow extending their lead with just over seven minutes remaining in the first half so they're gonna credit the goal there to enzo mazza and dante bates
was right there and even if he was not the one who got a touch on it to go in the net he set a nice little screen in front of the goalie and mazz is able to bury it from 40 yards out from one no and van usfeen gets some hands on it that one was kind of curving back in that will be mazza who comes out to take this corner sonny mazza is an opportunity to extend the sleeve even further into the middle patrick stevens is down ball comes up to weldon in salopa dante bates looks like we have brian shields into the game now for east longmeadow salopa a touch up to fortier fortiers going up the right side will cross it in it's deflected by i think that's mazza and it's gonna
be a free kick for east longmeadow benjaroo just over five remaining in the first half braceland with it now give it back to bush bush give and go to braceland brunel steals he goes up the right sideline mulan on him a nice touch into the middle of moreno morneau is just going to try and set up dante bates who'll rip a shot just sails over the crossbar nice setup pass there by by uh brunell and moreno and moreno and bates just misses the net and bates and monroe will be coming out subbed in by luke mazza and amman karana and ball comes back to the corey fortier up to feeny goes out of bounds off of east long meadow throwing for velez fortier tries to send it up to salopa stolen by enzo mazza comes
back to brunel stolen by edelson and he'll give it to bush and bush'll just send it up salopa tries to get a head ball on that one comes back to bush and luke mazza they're fighting for it in the far side luke mazzle wins that battle cup back move pull back now for mazza he's able to find more no more no another cut move to the outside mourinho splits look horry's legs and a shot on net by mazza and it just goes wide good shot there on the ground there hard from sonny mazza 310 remaining in the first half van usfeen with a goal kick sends up to braceland luke mazza to colin evans and evans just hits the ball a little too hard can't catch up to it it's going to be a goal
kick now for van oosten and we've got some very small uh ball retrievers out there tonight tries to chip it up to salopa salopa is going to win that battle over enzo mazza cut to the middle try and get a shot on net and it's broken up by ben weldon great defensive play from him and benjaroo will be taking the goal kick just under two remaining in the first half and salopa will be coming out for westfield and will be replaced by number 15 vasco sardina drew up to morneau mourinho is able to get a slight hitter on it back to luke mazzle chase it and van usfeen whips the ball and it goes in the net and a goal for esau metal puts them up for nothing it's an own goal the westfield player
one of the defenseman tried to give a pass back to van usfeen and van usm tried to clear it up and slipped missing the ball and that pass back from the westfield defender was aimed right at the net and it's it's going to roll right in so an own goal for westfield puts east law metal up four nothing with 120 remaining in the first half more now tries to find i believe that is number of jack merrigan in the game now good to see him out there luke mazza races with bush and it's going to go off a bush's foot out of bounds just under a minute remaining brian shields with the throwing more no with the ball at the top of the key he'll take a shot on that's deflected by a westfield player
it was out of bounds throw in for i think that is josh riley in the game now as well ball comes to brunel in the middle and kirana take a shot on that out of bounds goal kick for or excuse me it's gonna be a corner kick for ryan moore know and that's gonna do it for the first half and east long meadow is up four nothing so so far chad some takeaways in this first half what have you seen what do you like what do you not like both teams so far free someone i like that uh they're playing aggressive they put four in the net they're uh they've got a lot of chemistry going right now their defense is playing outstanding they've been able to recover on anything that has been somewhat of
a breakdown and i mean i've for westfield i've seen shalopa out there he's hustling he's doing pretty good for them but they haven't been able to bury anything yeah it's just he's somewhat dominated absolutely chad islam meadow is keeping the foot on the gas pedal to the metal and westfield's having a tough time creating some offensive chances east law meadow defense like you said chad have been locked down tonight using their bodies you know screening the player off of the ball and making smart heads up plays and they've been able to capitalize tonight the offense on some west field defensive mistakes and that's where we are as of now as as a result is a four four nothing score for east long meadow yeah you saw metal has just been laying the pressure even that
fourth goal where the westfield goalie whiffed on the ball mazwell was still putting pressure on him and made him make a mistake and ended up in a goal so you saw meadows just been laying the pressure on and the capitalized absolutely absolutely so we have 8 30 remaining in this half time chad and i will be back to you shortly welcome back to east long meadow high school and we are getting set to kick off the second half east long meadow is four-nothing over the westfield bombers bombers looking to make a big comeback to keep their season going some unfortunate goals happened in the previous first half but and that's allowed east longmeadow to grab this substantial lead he sullivan kicks off moreno finds mazza luke mazza sends it into the middle trying to find
brunel brian shields with sardina and a head ball from evans and luke mazza and van oostveen go flying through the air van usfeen's able to grab that ball and barely stay in the box good play there i thought we were going to have a bit of a collision good thing we didn't stevens mazza up to colin evans and we have some uh different players different faces i'm seeing in the game tonight for east long meadow we've got josh riley now number 14 on left back and we have brian shields on right back even merrigan jumped in a little bit earlier yeah jack merrigan was in as well perhaps maybe we'll see aj morgado tonight maybe i don't know get him a couple reps looks like uh islam has a looks like they have an extended
roster tonight um seems to be more players dressed than usual maybe a couple of uh jv kids came up and dressed for tonight's game velez sonny mazza giroux is just gonna boot it up with a lot of backspin comes out to karana krana heads it to shields gains control to luke mazza a little too much on it for shields goes out of bounds throwing for bush bush brian shields switches fields over to sonny mazza it's headed down by velez moreno enzo mazza battling with sardina brian shields sends it up to colin evans bulan a touch pass to feeney boulonn to fortier fortier will send it wide to edelson edelson a one-touch pass back to fortier edelson with it now fortier within the middle edelson and fortier playing a little some give and go action there
working the ball up but it's stolen it's kicked out of bounds by bulan islam metal throne for brian shields and sardina shields sends it over to stevens stevens up to sonny mazza sonny mazz with a beautiful cut move touch is it lightly up to colin evans evans up to josh riley with an overlapping play from his left back position and it gets touched out of bounds it's gonna be an east-long metal corner kick a nice overlap there from josh riley good heads up play and he'll head back to his defensive position ryan brunell on the corner sends it far post trying to find shields luke mazza now chases it down he's defended by not really i want to say that's samalenko samoylenko i think maybe not i'm wrong cannery excuse me brian shields with the
throne more tries to find more no in the middle and there's a whistle on the play east long metal might have been off sides so van usfeen with a free kick from his own inside of his own 18. and mazel just rip one on net trying to catch van useful on off guard but it's right avenues heads up play for a quick shot there though from sunny mazza feeney tries to send it up to sardina moreno with the ball now he'll touch it to brunel it's broken up by fortier fortier with a cup back move finds kinnery kenorita 4a 40a definitely but it's stolen by islametto now regained control from westfield they head up a through ball trying to find crab chuck and giroud is gonna boot that one out evans goes down morneau to
evans enzo mazza tries to clear just goes off the end of his foot but luke mazza tries to keep it in just goes out of bounds according to the sideline ref mazza chasing down edelson edelson looking for his options he'll go back to boulonn bulan up to klee stevens sends it tries to clear it out it's taken by bush westfield now chad having a little bit more possession yeah i mean it's not it's not deep in the offensive zone but they're they're getting a little bit more possession they're starting to move the ball a little bit better use the triangles that they're creating you saw metal just slowing down a little bit obviously they have a four or nothing lead right now but that doesn't mean they have the game in the bag but valez
throwing brunel sends it up colin evans tries to get a head over boulonn paul comes back out to craft chuck crab chuck in the middle of edelson ellison with a little bite touch pass trying to get over karana and he does but it's taken by more no shields tries to clear it up it's taken by clee and that ball is forced towards the sideline shields will send send it up to colin evans mazza and bush fighting over on the sideline mazza wins that battle along with evans to support him brunel switches fields to sonny mazza sonny mazzle with a nice cut move inside and fortier goes down and sonny mazz was a little upset that that was uh there wasn't much there but enough contacts to make the ref blow his whistle velez switches fields
to bush bush to edelson moreno takes the ball the brunell touch pass to kirana chrono will switch fields to sonny mazza josh reilly trying to find the overlap he's racing back ball goes out of bounds it's going to be westfield throwing for velez mazza paul comes back to sardina sardina pullback move stevens not letting him go anywhere it's cleared out by mazza mazza sends it up to evans and kinnery sent it back to vane usfeen and this time van wien's able to clear that one out edelson sends a chip pass nobody home jerus calmly scoops that one up just over 30 minutes remaining in the second half spartans up four nothing corona to brunel and brunel takes down feeney for ta touches it to sardina sardina back to feeney ball goes wide to luke mazza
mazza finds more no mornell lets it go through and ends up on colin evans foot evan's back to brunel to mourinho and mourinho will switch fields over to sonny mazza no overlapping pass for josh riley colin evans takes possession he'll switch fields again over to moore no takes the ball makes a pass over to evans evans a chip pass trying to get over bush's head finding luke mazda mazza cuts back to the outside will get across and it is forced out of bounds and we have some subs coming in we have number 23 ben weldon 21 joe president number one mike monroe number 13 dante bates number 16 jacob pachetta and we also have some subs coming in for westfield number 20. michael corey nikita riley marnell um brunell let's see luke mazza and shields
coming out for you salmeta evans with the ball in the corner he beats [Music] and and the ball comes up to jacob pachetta oh evans beat number 22 ryder feeney gave a pass to jacob paschetto just around the pk mark and bushetto sails that one over the net the shadows had some opportunities tonight see a lot of those defensemen becoming attackers monroe switches fields to presnel president with a touch pass to weldon beautifully done there weldon with a cross to the middle and they're saying that it went i think off the field hit the field goal post yeah so that's out of bounds it's gonna be a goal kick for van ooh's feet evans gets a shot on end it goes just left van oostfien had a layout for that one for those of you
who may have just joined us for the second half thank you and it there is just under 27 minutes remaining in the second half spartans are at four nothing sonny mazzle cross it into the middle and it doesn't enter the playing field and goes off the side of the net out of bounds so it's going to be a goal kick for van usfeen van nusfien sends it to the right side of midfield and weldon's just gonna let that ball go out of bounds for a free throw in for him he'll send it to colin evans evans tries to touch it to bates and weldon trips up cameron clee on the play clee was trying to race up for the ball and just kind of tripped up on weldon and went down and it'll be a
free kick for westfield edelson trying to get away with some extra yardage edelson sends it way up and drew is going to catch that out of the air and throw it up to presnot president has velez and lecori on him but makes a nice play over to colin evans and dante bates sends it up to mike monroe monroe racing up the side turns the hips gets it into the middle to joe presnell fresno and there's a whistle on the play a handball handball on i think he's slowing metal so westfield has a free kick they play by monroe though he uses speed mike monroe using his speed good play by him dante bates nudges it off of his shoulder ends up on monroe's foot monroe to jacob paschetta pachetta tries to find mazda in the
middle ball comes out to dante bates and he'll rip one on that but it's way left a little too much curvature on that one dante bates have has uh taken a lot of those deep shots tonight i'd like to see the aggressiveness from him yeah he's hoping to bear one as we saw on ah on mazza's goal from about 40 yards out a lot of shots going here's a throwing throwing from bates and van oostfien's gonna scoop that one up off of either mazda or shadow's foot now looks like we might have a sub coming in for east long metal that'll be ryan richards i believe correct i believe so number 18 big 1 8 aka spoggles karana sends it to evans evans back to weldon well then we'll leave it for enzo umaza mazza
to up to president president chases it down cup move inside finds colin evans evans with the ball now roll over he'll put the ball inside to mike monroe and monroe got a shot on that a great save from van oosten outstanding save monroe playset pretty much perfectly right side of the net vanushring had to dive for that now we have ryan richards and number 19 as well brendan stone entering the game replacing number six colin evans in number three sonny mazza so some junior's getting some playing time now other than i believe monroe and riley were the only other ones before that dante bates on the corner sends it far side looking for richards weldon back to bates bates sends it into the middle and ball is scooped up by van oosten he's gonna punt
it the ball bounces weldon heads it salopa and weldon battling for it and stevens is just gonna chip it back up presnel now tries to find richards a nice play there by velez to break up that passing attempt stone gives it to bates bates tries to switch fields to monroe and it goes off a bush and monroe gains control monroe a touch pass to presnot president with a scissors move and he'll take a shot on that but it's a nice easy save for van oostfien just under 21 minutes remaining in the second half spartans up four nothing van usfeen punts it way over midfield salopa and stevens go up for it salopa sends it back to lacquari salopa sends it wide to burns burns a nice cut move to beat pachetto and ends up on
salopa's fun solopa tries to get a shot on net it's blocked by stevens pachetto on the far sideline cup move and to the outside and that ball goes out of bounds throwing for westfield's number 16 caden bush bush and burns burns with a couple scissor moves excuse me that was the corey bush contested by i believe president ball goes out of bounds off his foot bush with the throwing and drew's just gonna let that one pick it up and boot it up to midfield dante bates tries to get a head ball on it just misses boulon bates and stone battle in the middle goes out of bounds and looks like we have a sub coming in that'll be augustine the fourth mazza on the team however only three of them are related two are twins
and then gus mazza is the brother of sonny and enzo and then uh we have luke mazza i don't think they are related though however i might be wrong i don't know there's a lot of masses so uh gus mazza seeing some playing time tonight and he got a nice little ovation there from the crowd dante bates battling with four tier four tier wins that one touches it to la crore la corey with a nice spin move pull back he'll send it to boulonn bulan to kinnery henry back to boulonn to look corey lacourie tries to get a touch on it brendan stone contests him ball comes to gus mazz august mazza with a touch back move a pullback to beat blonde and ball comes out to ryan richards ryan richards with a pullback move
tries to find stone in the middle but kinnery's there here comes enzo mazza and he's taking down on the play whistles blown it's gonna be a free kick 17 30 remaining in the second half it's still four nothing game patrick stevens sends it out wide to ben weldon touches it to gus mazza and van usfeen hesitates a little bit and just is able to get a toe on it ryan richards now with the ball he chases down [Music] somebody can't tell for tier with the ball now back to burns and weldon clears the ball and takes down fortier burns a little bike pass richards tries to touch to himself ends up on weldon's foot mike monroe firing down the right sideline he's able to beat bush and touches the ball a little too far and
blonde boxes him out and van oostfien's able to scoop it up nice play there by mike monroe just able unable to quite gain the right touch and hits the ball a little too hard and van housten is able to scoop that one up but a lot of speed on that right side with mike monroe and ball goes out off of salopa and it's going to be a islamic throw-in for patrick stevens and we have some more subs coming in jack merrigan will be entering the game um we have i think that's patsy diascali number 12 nick bradley and number 24. tyler tyler wretchen so a couple of freshmen out there couple i'm not sure if they're fresh they might be sophomores or freshmen i don't know freshman and uh diascali is a fresh one also
jack merrigan is out there now and definitely some extra players tonight class of 2025 in a shot we were looking down at the roster there so i have no idea what happened unfortunately i'm sorry but anyways they shot it ends up in van oosteen's hands and he'll send it up and it looks like aj morgado might be entering the game as well salopa with the ball now and giroux comes out of the net and is able to break up the shot from salopa dante bates now will clear it out to gus mazza stone contests bush and wins he'll give it to bates back to stevens stevens up to bradley bradley and velez on the sideline ball goes out of bounds off of bradley velez will have a westfield throwing 14 remaining in the second half
east longmeadow putting in a lot of their younger guys getting them some reps and some experience that's a good look oh we also have samir khan on the right side who's has the ball currently he is also he is a sophomore yep so a lot of new faces here for east long meadow a lot of first timers getting some playing time tonight good to see throw in now for islam dante bates and aj morgado will be coming into the game on the next whistle there will also be some subs coming in for westfield number one jeremy edelson number 22 ryder finney throwing from bates it's cleared out up to salopa salopa and and stephen's battle comes onto bracelen's foot he'll try to get it over to clee goes down a little bit stone with the
ball he'll give it to gretchen stretching out wide to bradley bradley passes it back to diascoli dante back to mazza and mazza with a chip over to dia scully again ball comes back out to bates bates up the sideline to bradley and ball goes out of bounds and the subs will be coming in aj morgado will be entering the game tonight replacing ben drew who has had an outstanding game has a shutout for him 12 minutes remaining hopefully morgado will be able to continue that shutout it's good to see him out there wretched sends it out wide for merrigan merrigan chasing down bulan and that ball just goes out of bounds throw in for samir to jack merrigan jack merrigan and edelson battle on the sideline gus mazza gets involved and there's a whistle on
the play ball was out of bounds so westfield throwing for bush 11 remaining on the clock four nothing still stone a pullback move trying to split the defenders but corey breaks it up sends it to clee and fortier with the balls tries to find salope on the middle and a nice defensive breakup there from patrick stevens it's going to be a throw in for velez klee enzo mazzo will head the ball and now morgado will come to take the goal kick we're nearing the 10-minute mark or the 30-minute mark in soccer organo sends it to the sideline over to bradley bradley to diascoli dia scully tries to get a touch but valez clears it ball goes wide and i hear some screams sounds like the girls varsity soccer team is getting warmed up and ready
to go for their playoff game they will be playing at seven o'clock versus amherst that is a big game as well a lot of soccer to the ryan richards and re-entering the game he'll be replacing dante bates a good game from dante bates a lot of smart decisions some good ball work westfield corner kick edelson and ball goes out of bounds off of merrigan they'll do it again edelson with the corner kick edelson keeps on the ground and morgana scoops that one up he'll take his time he'll punt it up tries to find wretched here comes clee ball is intercepted by enzo mazza and wretchen will switch fields to jack merrigan but blonde breaks that one up merrigan gus mazza trying to do a nice little scorpion bicycle kick thing not sure what that was
and morgana comes out of the net sacrificing a little turf burn there to make the stop good play by him being aggressive jack merrigan ball goes out of bounds it's gonna be westfield throwing for bush just under eight minutes remaining four nothing east long meadow and a timeout possibly for westfield i believe 7 38 remaining chad and i will be back with you in a couple minutes bush with the throw in and salopa goes down on the sideline ball goes out of bounds it's going to be an east longmeadow throwing jack merrigan jack merrigan battling samir orliano for ta with the ball now for westfield splits douglas and stone touches the ball a little hard and stevens is going to clear that one out clee sends it crossfield to cilopa salopa slight touch back to
bush bush is contested by richards ball goes out of bounds off for richards it's me a throw in for westfield's bush ryan richards now him and boulang are getting together and it's cleared stone with the ball he'll give a chip pass up to gus mazza on the outside and boulonn just misses the clear off of mazz's knee goes out of bounds it's gonna be a throw in for westfield like that move by stone to get that pass off the right side a little cut and then he chips up the right side to mazza well comes back to enzo mazza and he'll send it all the way back to aj morgado morgado will do a great job of just clearing that one out nick douglas gains possession to gus mazza excuse me nick nick bradley salopa

to nick bradley and and crab chuck comes flying out of nowhere and slips but he's able to get back up quickly and kick that ball out of bounds josh riley in the game now he'll be taking the throw in for east long metal 350 remaining riley trying to find richards while goes out of bounds off of finney josh riley gets another attempt he'll give it to jack merrigan inside merrigan with a nice head ball in the middle but nobody's home diascali salompa with the ball now chased down by arliano salopa with the shot and scores just goes off [Music] of aj morgado's hands but nikita salopa is able to bury that one [Music] unfortunate there for islam metal but we've seen salopa use his speed tonight and the defense was got burned there aj morgado
i mean he's put in a tough position there he's got no defense left for support and salopa has just got a free shot and it's all up onto aj morgado to make the save and he he he makes a good attempt i mean it goes off his fingers yep he's gladly knocked over there and now he's gonna be going for the free kick it's gonna be wretched yeah i mean a great job even just to get a hand on that one yeah absolutely wretched with a free kick now westfield making their wall wretched we'll fire this one on net and stink oh geez louise just butchered that name van oostveen he's able to come up with that save ball comes up to clee and it's just touched out of bounds by brian shields comes up
