It is our first broadcast of a hockey game this year. We do apologize for missing all
008the rust, >> but here at Everett, we do try our best to spread a lot of ground. >> Small crew, a lot of action going on throughout the post school system, but we're happy to be here today. >> Absolutely. >> To cast the last home game. Well, not at the last home game, but what could be the last for many seniors in particular. >> It's always a special night when it is a senior night ceremony. >> Oh, yes, absolutely. Tonight's about the seniors. The Lynch Jets are 8 and N. The Crimson Tide are 5 and 11 this season. You have two more games left to go if they want to win out. So, on Monday, the February 16th, they're playing Auto and on the 18th, they're playing North Bridge again. The Crimson Tide played North
009Bridge. last time they got the W from them. I don't have the score in front of me, but I'll find it later. But I'm looking forward to a hockey game cuz I haven't done this in ages. I feel like I haven't done a hockey game since before the pandemic. So, I'm really looking forward to announcing this game with you. I mean, and the pucks ABOUT TO DROP ANY SECOND NOW. HERE WE GO. At the faceoff for the Crimson Tire is Chris Argetta, senior forward from River and he loses a possession to Lind Jet. So they'll open up the game with the puck and neutral ice. Gets it over the blue line behind the net. Swings around. >> Do want to give an advanced apology for any mispronounced names throughout this broadcast. Bound to happen. >>
010Yes. Yes. along with the uh jersey names. But that 17 Tyler Whitney with the clear into the ever zone and try to settle the offense. Quick slap shot from deep. Intercepted by Anuniato who takes a shot. Save rebound saved again. Good wrist shot there by number two for the Tide and that goes right in the glove. Oh no, IT'S GETS LOOSE IN FRONT OF THE PUCK. Dangerous opportunity here. Fight for the puck. It gets loose and Lynn gets the rebound. Taking it up ice now. That's three straight shots on goals and all saves by the Lyn Jessie. Good job over there. The puck was loose. I thought he'd cover it up, but apparently he didn't. His defense saved him on that one getting it out of there as they throw the puck behind the net.
011Line change for the Jets. Coast to coast for the defense. Oh boy, that's a dangerous pass right there. They got lucky there. Here's Lindsay Skyler. Couldn't get possession, but a fellow teammate corrals it. And that's going to be a penalty. >> No, it's offsides. >> Offsides. >> Offides. I I'll help you. >> Thank you. >> The offsides call is the hardest call for me to make in hockey. It happens every so often in high school. But they're going to face off on neutral ice. Oh, right into the Linton bench. Right behind the head of the Len head coach. You didn't even We didn't even know the puck went at him. >> No, he it was like a two seconds delay from He's like, "Wait, wait a minute. What?" >> Plus, the music was blasting, so
012he probably didn't even hear it coming. >> Puck's back onto the ice. Almost a repeat off. >> Coach, >> get the advantage. Davis Pot to have a faceoff >> as won by the Crimson Tide. >> Tommy Cronin to the opposite side. >> Goes back to Cronin. Corin kicks it up to 14. Gets bodied. It's battle for the puck in the near side of the ice. Got no visual here, but it looks like Lyn Jess is racing towards it. And they come out with a 22 with a shot on go line gloved up. Their first shot attempt in this game as we are 3 minutes in about 2 minutes and 12 seconds in. Uh you might know you might notice if you're watching that there's no scoreboard graphic, but we'll try our best to keep you
013up to date about where we are in the game, especially with the score line. >> Plus with our cameraman, you'll see the score and the time as he flies by, but we'll do our best to keep you informed the time scores. We are the fly crew. Therefore, we are on the run getting these smaller productions in. And here's a race to the puck. Verun Char trying to chase it down. Couldn't get there. Puts a body on Lynn by some time until reinforcements come. Puck still loose behind the net. Lynn Jets looking for options here. People trying to call the flying V right there. Nope. >> Ever with a press and the interception. He's hit the ice. >> Good zone defense by the Trim and Tiger on the Lind side of the ice. >> Yeah, he
014tried to get a shot up, but I went off the defensive player and resetting possession. >> That's right. Escapes. Verona and Lyn Jets with the possession. Still fighting for possession. Riding on Zetta putting on pressure tries to find Chado again. and gets past him. >> Nice. Cuz they're keeping the puck in the zone. They're tiring out the defense. Ooh, he just went his backside right there. >> Big hits in this hockey game already. Love to see it. >> Oh yes, absolutely. Love hockey hits. Hockey hits are fun to watch. >> Charlie Such. >> Now here's number 10, Camaro, eighth grader forward from Mystic Valley Charter. >> Nice. >> Kicks it back. >> Oh, HE WASN'T EVEN PAYING ATTENTION, DUDE. >> Couldn't make the connection. turnover but slapped free. Nice set there. Oh, more like a
015collision. A couple substitutions made especially by L Jets. Two players in, two pairs out. >> That's called the line change. I thought line changes when everyone subs out. >> Oh, but I'll take your word for it. Off the goal post into the air and blown out of bounds. It is going to be a faceoff in the ever zone. Great song. So far, we got good hockey action. A lot of back and forth, not clean possession for either side of the team, but I think Ever has a really good solid defense so far. 5 minutes into the game, 10 minutes and 50 seconds left in the first period. Shots on goal for Everett, I believe, is four and Lindu. We'll try our best to keep track, but no sad tracking back here. >> Behind the net
016he goes. Gets caught up in the corner. >> Far corner. Tough visual for us as the announcers, but Lynn J. Here's 17 getting on top. Luka Tenn. Nope. Luka Tennisaki. 17 of Everett. 17 action. Twoon one. >> POSSIBLE BREAKAWAY OPPORT. >> IT'S ALL RIGHT. RESET. RESET. looking for a Luca Tanazaki in that last play but good cross now. Lint Jets pushing it up. Tyler Win going around the net. Tries to find the middle. Little broke possible breakaway. OH, NICE PASS. OH, JUST A LITTLE BIT AHEAD. OH, >> a nice breakaway. Looking for Mark Kio Kameo on that last play. Yeah, the puck just got ahead of him a little too far. He couldn't skate up and catch up to it. Crimson Tire was a lot of good looks in this first period. Another line change
017for the Jets. Looks like a full line change. Crimson Tai not bringing it off the ice. Here's Ryan Nundi. Nice move taking it up the middle. Taking it all by himself. Oh, is that a rip shot? Yes, first shot. No good, but good luck. That's the fifth shot on goal in this first period alone. We're 9 minutes in and the 9minute mark, I meant to say. >> We got you. We got you back. People know. >> Bradley Roach dumps him up to I think that's number eight, Benya. You can see better if you sit down. It's crazy. Yeah, >> I prefer Statting Bird. >> All right, you stand. I'll you stand. I'll sit. >> All right. Everett set up the offense. They also had a line chase. So now his ride to Nunetta bringing it
018up once again. Tries to get past number 13 of Lynn but gets caught up. That's John Briggs. The defenseman who slowed down Ryanetta. Number 13 getting right in his face there for the Tide. John Briggs once again dumps it off to Kyle. Kyle Furong. Puck still loose in the corner. Back to Furong. Now to Ryan and Nuni. He's going to take it up the ice. Now up the middle. He might go all by himself. FORCE AGAIN. ANOTHER SHOT ON GO RIGHT INTO the pads of the of the Lin Jalie. Solid shot right there. >> I was tempted to say Lynn English, but this team is comp schools. >> Yes, it is. Yeah, great shot and look, but he took that all by himself. Right up the ice. Boom. >> Second time it happened. >> Lion
019change for the Crimson Tide. >> Maybe third time will be a trap for him. >> Back onto the ice is Nicholas Denino. >> Uh-oh. Turnover. That's wide. Here comes number four, Tommy Cronin. >> Oh, keeps it balanced. NICE ACROBATICS THERE. LOOKING FOR RENIR seeing the sophomore right in front of the goalie. Couldn't make the connection, but what a play that was. That's some hockey right there. Ain't that bird? >> Yes, it was. If you connected on that, that was that should have been if you connected with that, that's an easy goal right there for them. >> Just a few seconds off. >> 7 minutes left in this first period. We're still scoreless. >> Okay, >> Crimson Tide. Lot of good looks in this rematch with the Lin Jets. They played earlier in the season. Jerry
0207th Lynn just won that one 52. Now number three, Denim Dembro gets gloved by Ray Blue Junior Junior goalie from Ever High School. Whistle blows at 640 in this first period. Still 000. We're getting a face off in the Ever side of the ice. Mark post for English, but the puck lands in the stick of number eight Ben. Caught a body, had to clear it. And now Ling Jets fighting for possession here once again. Lyn Jest eight and eight for the season. Here's 16. Jacobe Kimo out to that was number 10 on the wrist the slap shot attempt Dylan O'Connell Everett trying to clear it and they do but instead here's Benya trying to take it up the ice. Good defense by the Jets. And that's going to be a penalty bird. No, the puck
021went into the crowd. So, it's just a delay a game. Delay a game. Not delay a game. Sorry. It's just It might be delay a game. Hold on. If you purposely did that, it's called a delay a game. And that is a penalty. You are correct. >> But it might have just been out of >> out of the rink. So, it's nothing. All right. Nobody going into the penalty box. Going to be a face off in the neutral zone right in front of the Lin bench. Watch out coaches, you're safe this time. 5 minutes and 25 seconds left in this first period. Still scoreless. Oh, here's number four, Mark Post. Just a bit high. Oh, miscommunication there. Can't handle it. Grace for the puck. Number 17 of ever pressuring now is Luka Tanazaki. See, that's
022great. I like how freshman are playing right now. some much needed time on the ice to get a good experience moving forward. And you know, there are a couple of eighth graders on both teams as well. >> Yes. >> So, a bright future ahead for both teams. Heads up. Ooh, right into the bleachers. That that puck went out of bounds. Thankfully, it did not land on anybody. It landed safely somewhere in the stands. There's a shot on camera by our star camera operator, Tony Law. Thank you Tony for showing up to all of these sporting events. We're going to get a face off in the neutral zone. On the puck for the English, for the Jets, Aaron AJ Cook, and for the Crimson Tide, it was Reanir Singh. Faceoff run by Everett dumps in the
023Lyn zone. And that'll be an icing. >> So we're going to get another faceoff. >> 4 minutes and 44 seconds left. Make a wish. >> In the first period, >> full line change for the Crimson Tide. >> Looks like we got the first lineup out there on the faceoff. Who's going to be Is that number zero? No, that's number 10. Cam Marone, the eigh one of the two eighth graders of the Crimson Tide hockey team. pass. Missing passer >> ry behind the net looking for Chow. Backhand shot. Nope. Couldn't go. >> Trying to keep in the lens zone. Does a He's off sides that one. I understood. >> Good. Learning as we always do with these broadcasts. >> Oh yes, absolutely. 4 minutes and 22 seconds left in this first period. We're going to get
024another face off in the neutral zone for the Crimson Tide Chawa. And for the Jets, AJ Cook. AJ, senior from Salem High School. Long shot attempt into the chest of Pedro Lopez of the Jets. Nice hit right there. What a hit by Ryan Nuni on number nine, John Doyle. Doyle rules. Yeah, buddy. One of those generational difference jokes that you made, I wouldn't get. Number 13, Bradley Roach with a shot attempt into the ice. >> Excuse me. Right into the stick of the goalie. Lynn having a hard time getting it out. Following two on neutral ice right now. >> Kicks it back to his defenseman. Smacks it off the board in behind the average zone. Ryan kicks it up, kicks it back out. >> Uh-oh. Right into the jets. Ryan for the goal. Number five,
025Nathan Silva, who couldn't catch the back of the net. Good defending by Ryan Bluevelt, junior goalie from Ever High School. >> Yeah, good job staying levelheaded on the turnover. Most kids would panic and freak out. Not him. Here's another one. One shot on it. Tapped off the rebound. Loose. That goes behind the net to the defenseman. Ever. Here's a chance to clear. >> There we go. >> And sort of clear for the Crimson Tire. What stick skills displayed by AJ Cook. Here's Sea chasing down the puck. Couldn't get there. Turnover. 2 minutes and 30 seconds left in the first period. Puck right behind the net of the Jets. They're slowing down to set up their offense, it seems. >> I want to see the flying jet if they have the play. Nope. All right. Plays
026back in right into the Crimson Tide just like how they drew it up. Maybe I probably little miscommunication there, but every takes advantage of that cuz you kidding me? >> That might be a hooking on number 22, AJ Cook. Our first power play. I don't think he sent to the penalty box. It's just going to be a faceoff. Oh, actually the call was on number three, Denim Dro, the junior forward from Vim Classical. So we have our first power play here in the game and comes at the 2 minute and 3 second mark of the first period. On the faceoff for the Crimson Tide is run. Let's see if the Crimson Tide can capitalize on this golden opportunity here in the first period and possibly strike first. Crimson Tide looking to avenge their loss early
027in the season with a 5-2 loss to this team earlier last month, >> January 7th. And that was played at Lynn. >> Yes. >> Little uh what's going on here? just getting the booking done at the scorers table and getting the penalty time out of the scoreboard is a twominute power play for the Crimson Tide. >> And there'll be 3 seconds of extra time and extra time. 3 seconds left after the power play. Let's see who the Tide does here. >> OH, HE'S RIGHT IN FRONT. OH, KICKED OUT. >> Good offensive scheme by the Crimson Tide. And it's cleared out. They'll kill some 10 seconds. kept in play by the goalie preventing the icing. Yeah, good job there stepping out and not letting that happen. Here's Croin to Arto. >> Nice little hit there. Nothing
028too crazy. Another clear by the Jets. Kept in play. >> Dumps it short. Oh, I would have to Martino Carbo. >> 1 minute and 10 seconds left in this power play. Two second differential between the end of the period and the power play. So approaching 60 seconds left. Oo, nice little collision there. >> And it's cleared out. >> Jess has successfully killed off one full minute of this power play. >> Yeah, Ever's got to set up this power play here. We need to settle down and just get it right. There's a chance right here, but couldn't get control of the puck. Another clear by the Jets. 40 seconds left. Ryan Nunetta back on the ice after that last change in last possession. He's going to take it up right up the middle. Good handling. Takes
029it into a couple defenders. 25 seconds to go here in the first. There's a shot missed. Good job keeping in the zone there. Oh, >> weak clear but good enough. Just 10 seconds left in that power play for the Crimson Tide. 8 seconds left of the first period. Running on the from deep >> off the glove attempt. Power play is officially killed off. One more shot attempt and into the pads and that's how this first period is going to end. It's going to be a 000 tie and we're going to take a break right here. just thank you all for joining us on this broadcast for Everett versus Lynn Jets. And welcome back into Alli Veterans Memorial Rink for today's matchup between the Ever Crimson Tide and the Lin Jets. The score is still 000
030and my name is Animosmani. Joining me on the broadcast is Jonathan B Marsh and I >> Good first half. Ever had a power play opportunity. >> Period. Sorry. Force of habit. I commentate so many different sports. It's okay. >> But uh and Lyn Lynn Jess, I keep saying English by default as well. Also another habit. >> It's a It's all right. >> That's successfully killed off that penalty at the end of the first period. >> What are your overall thoughts on uh on how that period was played? >> Offensively, they just got to get more shots on the net. I mean, they're doing a good job, but like offensively, they're just, you know, I feel like they're just going through the motions. You know, where's the enthusiasm seeing this is your last game. You got
031to be fired up and get things rocking. and go get a gold or two, you know what I mean? And I want to want to thank you all for watching EHS channel 15 on YouTube and the television station as well. We appreciate it. This will be on hopefully Tuesday the 17th. Not making any promises here. This isn't a live broadcast, but we'll at least deliver it to you somehow. >> Just come out with possession off that FA after that face off and to open up second period right away. Oh, Link coming out with a little fire here in the second period. >> I've noticed I was just about to say the same thing, but here comes Eric trying to strike back. Kicks it back to number eight, Bena. We lost track of the puck here
032as the near side, but that was a shot attempt by Ryan and Nunziata looking for Verunchala. >> That could be icing and nope. Nope. Good job. Honestly, that's a good job. >> Oh, save. >> Took took the goalie and Ryan together to save that puck. >> That was an unorthodox save right there. He was all over the place with that one. >> Now, here's Sea. >> Oh, I love it. He's just every time a uh limp play gets in front of him, he just throws a stick at them. Not throw, but you know what I mean. Gives him like, "Hey, I know you're here. Get out of my territory." Now, here's Charla all alone in the lin zone. He just takes a shot from where he's at off the pads. of number 33. That's Cooper
033Goodman for the Jets. >> Bless you. >> Trying to keep it in. >> I'm trying to hold in my sneeze. Thank you for that. >> No problem. >> I'm back. >> It's that time of the year. Sneezing coughing. Running. >> We're an ice rink. Oo, nice. Nice hit there. >> Number 18 for the Jets, Anthony Alice. the captain for the Jets. Uh here's a clear by the Crimson Tide. Ben S trying to chase it down. Battling against >> Anthony Alice. >> Good job there. >> Alice gets tripped up and coraled by number 28 Julius Serino, assistant captain for the Jets. Right to the stick on 16. >> That was number 60. Martina Carl, a sophomore from Mystic Valley with the score right over the shoulder. Top shelf. Will you keep the peanut butter? Nice score
034right there off the turnover. One- nothing your Crimson Tide. And that came at the 1250 mark of the second period caused by a turnover. Interception by Martino Carbo. >> So, the Crimson Tide strikes first. And our Jets win the faceoff after that. Yeah, Cabo did a great job. He was waiting for that punk. He just subbed to it. Took the shot. Went right over that goalie shoulder. Right into the net. >> Caro again takes another shot. not in the goal. >> Oh, they were chirping over here. Number 14 and number five for Lynn having a few words. >> Luca Tenn Tennazagi trying to get out the rebound. Trips and slides into the net cause a little bit of a clog up. So, B play was blown dead. We're going to get a face off in
035the Lynn zone near side. Renir Singh on the face off for the Crimson Tide. >> Lyn wins that one. >> The trigon shot on deflected right out of the >> Ev will reset. >> Tries to pass in the middle of the ice. Gets broken up quickly. >> Looking for a red singing all over the ice. Here's the J number nine, John Doyle, trying to take it on himself. Deflected by the chest of the goalie. That se that puck nearly hit the ceiling. Nice save and hit. Slap shot. Glove save. That save took a team effort that first time around. I was so shocked. I was so amazed and shocked that puck didn't hit any metal on top of the uh rink right here. It just flowed through the through and around the steel pipes. It
036was crazy. >> Nobody even knew where it was until it landed. >> No, nothing. Look fun in front of me. Let me just shoot this real quick. >> We're getting a full line change by both teams as we enter this faceoff. One by the Crimson Tide. Here's 16. Martino Carbo, the sole goal scorer of this game, jumps it to Ben Sea. Sei loses possession but going to track it down behind the lin go as on the other side gets the body on the boards. Good contest earlier Tommy Cronin now. >> Uh-oh. Intercepted by two poison. >> Beautiful glove save. >> Credit two Ray Blowout. Shot attempt by Brian Boyce. Drew forward from Lyn Vocational Tech. That face off one by the Crimson Tide. And now here's Veron Chala. Kicks it in front. There you go.
037Get it out. Very sick loss it. But gets tripped up. I am not laughing at the athletes. If I was skating like that, I'd be all over the place. It was just good hockey action. You're just enjoying the uh what you're getting. >> Yep. >> Oh, here we go. >> Too high. Good luck from deep. >> Yeah, a lot of traffic in front of him, too. But he got it past everybody, but here comes Lynn. Nice hit right there. Just slides right into the goalie net. Not a good hit by the Crimson Tide. Getting physical. Oh, I love it. That's what's going to define the second period. We are approaching the 10 minute and 15 second mark here in the second period. Ever leads 1 z. The whole school of three high schools that make
038up this hockey program. Total of six schools being represented in today's game. Yes, they are. Now, here's the English one on four. gets poked from behind by Ranir Singh but just retained possession. His 13 John Briggs skating around trying to break free from Renier Singh. >> Good move by Tommy Cronin. >> Oh, nice pass right there right through the legs of the tennis >> loses possession there. as they get it out of the zone. Neutral ice ever territory. Oh, penalty is coming up. That's going to go on the junior, the senior defenseman. And that'll be a cross check. He's going to be sent to the penalty box. So, Len English is presented with their first power play opportunity this game. And it comes at the 9 minute and 16 second mark here in the second
039period. I might be losing my voice here, Bird. >> That's all right. I feel it in my voice too. I think it's just the weather in here. Very dry. So every is 0 for one in the power play. Let's see if they can make it one for two as they lead one- nothing. 914 to go here in the second shot. >> Oh, I'm sorry. Every penalty. My apologies. I thought it was on Lynn. >> No, the power play for Lynn. The the helmet comes off of Ray Blue. I think a shot attempt by the Jets knocked it loose. So, my apologies folks. >> Referee has to pull the blow the plate dead until the junior guard, the junior goalie, >> gets his bearings. Only 9 seconds off the power play in that last sequence. So,
040we're going to get it in as a faceoff. >> All right, let's see what every defense could do here on this power play. Lynn looking to set it up. AJ Cook to Mark Post. >> Puck a little bit loose. >> Has the order just yet >> AJ trying to chase it down. That is AJ Cook. That is There are two AJs on this Jets team. >> Oh, here we go. Might get a short goal here. Oh, >> yep. Another penalty. Skates collided in that last play. That was number 10, Cam Mcome, the eighth grader who got tied up. Who's Susie? Is that 10 or 13 that got tied up? 10. All right. Cam Marone McCone catching some high school hockey action. He got caught up with Jacobe Kamo. >> That sounds about right. >> Number
04116. >> Yeah. >> With the Jets. >> Camu. Oh. >> So 35 second differential between the power plays for Lynn and the Crimson Tide. Lynn has 1 minute 20 seconds left in this power play. So it's four and four for the next 1 minute and 20 seconds and then Ever will have an advantage with a 30se second speed around. >> So we got to put a body on him. >> That's the captain Mark Post. Correct. That is not the captain. That's one of the seniors >> of the miss slap shot right there. Didn't connect fully. >> HERE'S SEA. HE HAS A breakaway opportunity. Is he going to take IT HIMSELF? HE SLOWED DOWN. LOSES the puck. And now the puck hits the corner. >> Now here comes the Jess going the other way. >> 40
042seconds left on the foul play. >> Poke >> by 16 who's now going up the middle. Gets caught up. >> That's not going to be a penalty call. app defense play. Here's Veroon Charalo. Curtal the possession of that puck. Now here's post. Oh, hits the iron and into the net. 13 seconds to go in the power play. Ever doing a good job with that. Excuse me. If that was clean, that was going to be very dangerous shot right there. Cam Mcome the eighth grader with a good look. A helmet came off for one of the ever players and that's why the whistle was blown. He's That's Ben Sey who's going to hit the bench and we're going to get a line change with it. >> 226 to go here in the second period. Our Crimson Tide is up two to one. Things are cooling down now. Ref separating the teams. >> So, we're going to head into the locker rooms after second period action. The Crimson Tide leads two to one. And once again, Bird and I are going to take a break. >> Yeah. And then it looks like number 34 will be starting in the penalty box from which I saw the ref go pointing at it earlier. So we could have

We'll be right back with third period action right here on EHS channel 15 and on the YouTube. And welcome back for third period action. Looking to get a victory here with 15 minutes to go as the third period is about to start. The first goal for Lynn Jets came at a power play opportunity and the second goal also came >> at a power play for the Crimson Tide. So the Crimson Tide is one for three for power plays and uh Lyn is perfect with the one-on-one. So for the third period, I would suggest keep track of the What are you pointing at? I'm sorry. I got distracted. Oh, okay. Oh, we do the Yeah, remember I said that. Okay, so we do have got the start with a power play. So this is a great
058advantage for the Crimson Tide. So the Crimson Tide will start off with the power play like I said. So before the second period ended, there's a little skirmish and the Lynn player retaliated and ends he's in the box. So good opportunity to start off the third period. ever trying to come out OF SENIOR NIGHT WITH A VICTORY over the Lynn dress in their rematch game. Pitch making some noise as we get ready for a faceoff for travel is going to start things off for the Crimson Tide and hitting the penalty box is Aaron AJ Cook senior from Salem High School. Crimson Tide wins the faceoff to start off things in the third period. Here's Martino Corbo back to Beno. One goal scorer to another. Couldn't connect there to the back of the net. And here's
059a clear by the Jets. Clear it off by the referee. There's no icing call. >> Nice little setup though. Good stop by the goalie. >> Ryan Nuni absorbs the hit. >> And Puck stays with the Crimson Tide looking to get something up. Ryan on the breaking into the Lyn zone, taking it by himself. LOSES IT TO BENYA. KICKS IT BACK OFF TO MARTINO. That was a tough angle. >> Good shot attempt by Martino. Cordovo Carbo. Smacks it off the boards. Gets in neutral ice and it's cleared. >> Jets looking to get out of their own zone. 60 seconds left in this power play opportunity for the Crimson Tide. Try to find the puck in the corner over there. Good defense there. >> Yeah, Cronin and Mark Post have been going at it back and forth. >> The two number fours for both teams. >> Four squared. Here we go. Ryan Nunetta. Long shots have deflected up in the air. Rebounded goes to the Jets. Nice rebound there from the Crimson Tide. Also a good shot earlier. Power play is over. Get the shot off, but oh uhoh. Uh-oh. Here we go. Joandre Drew on and away. >> What a play by Ryanville. Here's Martino Carbo
061on the other side. Now loses possession. Ryan Nunietta gets knocked down. Gets right back up. AJ Cook back in the game making some plays, making his presence felt. >> Great play by the goalie there. He was like, "You know what? No, I'm coming out of the crease and I'm just breaking this up right now." >> Brian Lunetta gets past AJ Curry gets past number five, GETS A SHOT OFF and wide off the rebound gets loose. Here's comes the Jets with the rebound. >> I think my voice cracked a little. >> Yeah, it's all right. Too much excitement going on. This is a fast-paced start to the third period. We have we are at the 12minute mark officially. Tai did a great job there keeping it in Lyn zone right there. Getting these guys tied. But
062at the other end, Kyle Furong battling for the puck in the corner. Here comes AJ Cook racing in on his knees. Back out with a shot attempt by number 18 Anthony Alice. He gets gloved up by the goalie. That was a good setup by the Jets. Good job by the goalie there. Covering it up. No skirmish at the um net there, which is nice to see. Both teams being disciplined there. I'm sure as the time ticks away, it'll be a little bit more aggressive and you know, little shoving going on. >> There's a shot deflection off the stick of the goalie. 11 minutes and 30 seconds left here in this file in the game. >> There's Charlie Gobostas. Then Jets pucks get poked away but in the possession of the Jets still >> and just
063resetting here for both teams. We're getting a line change for the Jets. And now here's the Crimson Tide trying to press forward into the zone. >> Puck chased down by the Crimson Tide. >> Back out wide to Cronin. And now Crimson Tide are going to reset here. >> Oh. Oh. What happened here? We missed something. Something's going on here. Looks like an injured player for the Jets. He's going to get right back up and get back into play. Here's Corin up the middle. Oh, now it's getting dicey. gets hangled up. There's a little retaliation right there. >> Right in front of the net. >> Oh boy. Swiped away by Lynn Cooper Goodman. >> 10 minutes. 20 seconds left. >> Oh. Oh. Watch out. Don't Don't take the bait. >> Don't take the bait, young man.
064It's all good. Some rage baiting going on the far side of the ice, but play continues. Here comes the Crimson Tie streaking up ice. Cronin trying to get past the defense. Gets pushed into the board. No penalty call there. Takes a body. As soon as he gets up, the puck just keeps finding it. And finally a whistle by the referee. That's going to be Denim. Correction Brian Boyce who's going to hit the penalty box. just absolutely bullying Cronin. >> Here's my educated guess. I think Cronin was just chirping his mouth and this kid couldn't handle it and so he kept hitting him and hitting him, engaging him and engaging him. And here we go with another power play for the Crimson Tide. >> Allen has to do is just play hockey. >> Yep. >> But
065instead they got to stay disciplined, ignore the noise. >> They pull Cronin in the corner, but the puck hits going into him and he just naturally absorbs the hits after as well. Tough guy he is. It's here's Ryan Indiana winning the faceoff. >> Oh, I thought it went in. THOUGHT SNUCK IN THERE. >> THE NET WITH ANOTHER GOAL. THAT'S HIS SECOND OF THE GAME. 10 SECONDS INTO THE POWER PLAY. AT THE 9 MINUTE AND 38 second mark, IT'S GOING TO BE 31 Crimson Tide. Two goals for Beno. Lynn back in full strength. And now we get a faceoff. Lynn Jess wins that face off. Here's number 18. Takes a shot and right into the glove. Good save by Ray Bluevelt. Number 18 was Anthony Allesie with that shot attempt. We're getting a full line change
066for the Crimson Tide as we enter this faceoff at the 9 minute and 29 second mark. >> Crimson Tide are two for five in the power play this evening with a 3-1 score. >> And they've already eclipsed whatever they scored in the previous matchup against the Jets. >> Yeah, >> but they got to stay disciplined and stay on top of the defense. >> Here's Ryan Nazi. >> There we go. Keep it out of their own zone. Just keep the pressure on Lynn. WOO! WE GOT ANOTHER ONE. Mark Post getting tangled up with Frankie Nunietta. Ruffy blows. We're going to see who the penalty is going to go against, if any. There's going to be a penalty against Everett. So, Lynn English, the Lin Jets is going to have We face off against the Lyn English
067uh Bulldogs quite often. Yes. But the Lynn Jets does make up all of the high schools in the city of Lynn. One of the largest school districts in the state just as it is. >> Lyn Classical, Lind English, and Lyn Vocational Technical Institute is going to is represented in today's matchup. Two-minute power play for the Jets. And Bird, you were just talking about staying disciplined. >> Yes. So, right now, Cooper Titans defense just got to stay on top of these kids. You know, they're going to take their shots, but like try to get the rebound behind the net if you can. See, like right now, just got to go coast to coast with the puck. Lyn's going to set up their offense. Slap shot just missed. >> Anthony Allessie with that shot attempt coming in
068hot. Here's another open look. Maybe he takes it off the skates of Martino. >> That'll kill about 10 seconds right there. >> Rever Singh with the clear. >> 1 minute and 20 seconds left in this power play. Nice. >> 8:25 to go here in the third period. >> Another good clear by Ran Vier Singh. We're going to get a line change for the Crimson Tide. Now Vroom Chala probing and backs off. Setting up the defense now. Puck is loose. 50 seconds left after this power play. The Crimson Tide is looking to successfully kill off yet another power play. >> Yeah, they're not looking to get a short hand on goal here. They're just they're just going to grab the puck and just dump it in the zone. >> 35 seconds to go in the power
069play. >> Here's Mark Post trying to take it himself. Puck gets poked away. Still loose. And then Ben Seiya couldn't cleanly possess it. Now here's Mark Post to the other side. AJ Cook push on a move against Sam. Takes it up. >> Park offs the skate. 10 seconds to go on the final play. >> Seven shot attempt. Here's a rebound. >> Couldn't cleanly rebound that. >> Oh, HE OH MAN, TWO STRAIGHT miscues by the Jets and the penalty has been killed off. Full strength for the Crimson Tide. Ryan on Nuna checks back in. >> Here's Mark Post squaring up. Takes a shot and deflected. Ooh, dangerous pass for the puck in front of the goal for the Crimson Tide. But here's Ryan Nier trying to take it on himself. Wait for Waits for help. Good
070skates there. Almost lost the puck there for a second. He just glides so calmly across his eyes. He's been gliding the entire game. >> Yeah. >> Yes, he was. But that part right there, he's like, "Oh." But he recovered nicely. >> 620 to go in the third period. Your score is 32-1. Crimson tied. Ever gets out of the zone right in front of the ever bench. Gets slapped right in the back the boards there. Oh, puck's just chilling right there in the corner. Lynn gets it. >> Oh, >> yeah. That smacked the >> puck into the che. We don't know if uh >> Yeah, someone got hit. >> Someone got hit. Did get hit by the puck. We hope that she's okay. >> She's going to get checked out on by >> Yeah, there's there's
071probably three, four nurses in the, >> you know, >> in the vicinity >> in the crowd, you know. Plus, we have um >> trainers are here too, >> just in case. >> Here's Luka Tazaki. >> Oh, here we go. >> Couldn't win that one-on-one supported by 14 Mark Karmo. Kino Suzaki probing once again pressing number seven trips Joseph Ply. Well, poor a blocky pass. Tripped him up. >> Oh, pass escape off Martino. And Denim Dimbro is just going to hit that puck out of bounds. Out of play. >> There you go. >> You're getting it. >> I didn't I didn't think it went out of play, but apparently it did. >> You won your score with 525 to go here at the LA Veterans Rink. in Everett, home of Wentworth Institute of Technology Hockey. >>
072Cam Mc loses a face off. >> Puck. >> Crimson >> dangerously bumps away. >> Yeah, >> Crimson Tai got real lucky right there cuz that throw was chilling right there and it just missed him. >> That was a hot take by number 10 of the Jets. Puck is loose. and gets finanially gloved up by Goodman. >> We're at the 4 minute and 56 seconds left. Uh 56 second mark left in this game in the third. >> I know it's cold in it. It gets to you gets to you vocally. It's like chill up your spine like you just muff up the words. >> Battling against a PA in the crowd here as we're right in the middle of it all. >> Yep. I'm just mad they stop playing music. Let's get into it. >> I
073feel like both teams are just going through the motions right now >> with 5 minutes left in the game. Well, technically to be exact. 4 minutes and 33 seconds. Here's Ben S. He gets ahead of his defender. He wants that hattick. BACK TO I THINK HE WAS LOOKING FOR NUMBER six Chris Aroetta who was in front of the net. Chala lays down a hit, gets tangled up. >> Ref was watching. Some Lind people are Oh, >> ref wasn't watching there. Actually, >> Lynn thought they could get away with it. John Do gets tripped, gets checked with a dirty play back there against Veru Chalawa. He's going to hit the penalty box. Doyle doing his due diligence. getting the power play. This will be the eighth power play for the Crimson Tide today. >> They're going
074to say Mark Post into the penalty box. >> They are two for five right now on the power play. Looking to make go three and six. Crimson Tide wins that face off. Here's Ryan Nunetta maintaining possession. Gets his shot off into the screen >> and deflected away. Good screen play by the Crim the Tide. Ryan Nietta once again Junior from Muier just across takes a shot from the baseline. Yeah, that was a difficult shot. I mean, if he threw if he slapped the puck off one of his players or the opposing team's players, it would ricochet around like that a little bit. That would have been more entertaining and more dangerous. Now, here's the Lin Jets pushing forward. Number six, the ball and the goalie. Empty net. 1 minute and 15 seconds left in this
075power play. And the Jets just took out their goalie. What we got? Was that a cross check? >> Did he cross his arms like this? >> Yeah, that's a cross check. >> You're picking up on him. I'm happy for you, dude. >> I know some hockey. >> I know you do. >> I had to. Awesome. Renetta is going to hit the penalty box. >> Oh, we got double penalty. All right, >> so Lynn has 1 minute and 8 seconds left in their penalty box while Ryan Nunetta is going to serve a full two-minute penalty. Right now, it's going to be 44 action. The goalie is back in for the Jets. >> Rightfully so. >> And now the Jets could start thinking strategically about their opportunities here. He could probably jump back to the um to
076the bench if he wants to get a five on four, but I doubt it. >> But here we are with four and four play. Jess proving behind the net. Kicks it back out to AJ Cook. Off wide, deflected. Puck gets chased down by number six, Pedro Lopez. Yeah, I think Ever stay back and play defense. Oh, shot up high right above the head of the goalie. Shot attempt by number seven, Joseph Cord. >> It looked like he tried to catch it, but it was just too fast for him to get zipped right by his head. >> Crushing that was Tyler Wade with that shot attempt. He's going to lose that one. And 27 seconds left for this four and four play before Lin English gets back into full strength and giving them a one-man advantage.
077A 53 second differential between the two penalties in favor of Lynn. Bluetooth connected in the stadium. That's where the music went. Bird. Oh, they didn't connect the Bluetooth. That's a nice thing. We're going to face off in the Ever Zone and a line change for the Crimson Tide. You know, I have to uh acknowledge I keep saying every Crimson Tide, but we do also have to keep in mind that the Crimson Tide does host players from Malden and River and Mystic Valley Charter Regional School. >> Yep. It's a I'll I'll save the comment for the next in between period. I have a little statement. Nothing bad about public hockey. I'll we'll talk about it after. Nothing bad. 5 seconds left. Oh, and he's spinning around. >> And Lynn English, the Jets, I keep doing it,
078is back in full strength. >> Good job. Get it out. We are now inside two minutes of the game. Here's Mark Post skating around. Jets pull their goalie. Empty net situation. Six on four. Power play. OH MY GOD. AND A GOOD SAVE BY THE pass of the blue out. MARK POST WITH A SHOT AND INTO THE BACK OF THE NET FROM DEEP. 3 2 by one with only 1 minute and 37 seconds left in this third period. Can they tie it up in these final minutes? We'll see. With that goal, Ever into the face off at full strength. Isn't that right, Bird? Yes, it is. >> But the Christian Tide did hold off as long as they could. I mean, it was six on four. They're looked overwhelmed. There's just jets everywhere on the ice.
079They pull that goalie there. Good call by the Lyn coach over there pulling the goalie after that power play. And they call a timeout. >> I think this is the first timeout we've seen all game. Bird, >> uh, timeouts are usually rare and called, even in the pros, in college. One timeout per team. per that's it just one timeout. So if they call out in the second period that's it or the first per that's it one one timeout >> and so one timeout has been charged to I think the L Jets. >> Yes. So basically they could probably pull the goalie again make it six on five and just going to put pressure on the Crimson Tide defense and Crimson Tide have to just hold the line and just clear the puck out of their
080own zone and just let the clock be their uh friend. >> Now Bird to make it fair. What if the Crimson Tide also pulls out the goal? It would just be an even six on six. >> That would be a crapshoot and there was empty nets of just goals going everywhere in the net. >> No, that that was a clown question. >> No, it's okay. It's okay. >> That was a short timeout. Lynn Jets breaks the huddle first and now here comes the Crimson Tide for our faceoff at the 1 minute and 37 second mark. Oh, what I wanted to say was the public schools in this m in the state of Massachusetts have gone downhill with the hockey programs. The Catholic schools Catholic schools have taken full advantage of it and the you know
081on top of the hockey world right now in the state of Massachusetts. >> Hockey enrollment has significantly gone down. >> Yes. >> With across the public schools. >> Yes. >> And I must say even the middle league, the toughest league in MIAA is facing some sort of deficit. >> Yep. Get it out. There you go. >> It is an empty net situation and the Crimson Tide does clear the puck into THE LID ZONE. BEN S TRYING TO CHASE IT DOWN, BUT WE get an icing call with 1 minute and 11 seconds left. Six on five just as you called it during that last timeout. And we're going to get a full line change. Could benches screaming. The L bench is screaming. It's awesome. >> It's all strategy from here on out. 1 minute 11 seconds.
082Crimson Tide is holding on to a one-point lead. They're at a one-man disadvantage with a six and five play right here. Crimson Tide wins the faceoff. >> Nice. >> Go, GO, GO, GO, GO. ALL RIGHT. AHEAD OF THE JETS DEFENSE. CAN HE GET A SHOT OFF? HE'S GOING TO KILL TIME. >> He's still going to the punk. >> Honestly, that was great defense by the Jets right there. That was Anthony Allessly who puts his body on the floor taking away the line of sight by Ben Sea. That has Mark Post racing up the field. WE ARE INSIDE 46 SECONDS. UH-OH. All from the far side into the body. Crimson Tide PUTTING THEIR BODY AND SOUL INTO THIS GAME RIGHT HERE IN 35 seconds left. THE JETS PUTTING ON THE PRESSURE. Gets the shot off out
083wide. 605. MARK P LEAPED OVER A MAN. Couldn't get possession. Good clear by Mark Cronin. Tommy Cody, excuse me. Uh-oh. Here's Kawa with a possession. Couldn't get a shot off. Good poke away by THE JETS. 10 SECONDS LEFT. FINAL PUSH BY THE JETS. If they could pull it off and I think they're just going to call it quits here. And that's GOING TO BE GAME. PERMANENT TIDE COMES OFF WITH THE night with their sixth win of the season, AVENGING THEIR FIRST LOSS AGAINST the Lyn Jets. They win this 32 and we got a celebration down in the far corner if you can find it in the camera screen right there. What a great game. Bird, any thoughts you'd like to share? Great job. The cruel tide holding on to that line there and there. Great
084job defensively. They're just getting the puck out of there and just like great job all around by the seniors. I'm happy for them. They got a They get a victory on um the senior night and we're having a handshake. Hopefully there's no ruckus in this handshake. Hopefully everything stays cool and calm and collective, but we shall see. The Crimson Tide has two games left in the regular season. But that'll do it for us for us here at Alli Bears Memorial Rink. We thank you for watching. We thank the fans for showing up. The bleachers were full and we love to see it especially on a night like this. Revenge win goes towards Crimson Tide. Final score 32. I'm joined by Jonathan B Marshad. Thank you for tuning in.
