We have girls varsity basketball action coming your way and it's a greater Boston League tilt between the River Patriots and the Everett Crimson Tide. I'm Josh Delgazo joined alongside Justin Han and we are looking forward to bringing you the action here

tonight. The Crimson Tide come into this one at two and three. They did have a big win two games ago, blowing out Lin English by 30 points, but then they felt it on the other end. Last game they lost by 30 to Somerville. So, they're looking to try to wipe that slate clean and get to the 500 mark here tonight. The Riviera Patriots come into this one at 4 and2. And they enjoyed some early season success and they are coming into this one off of a couple wins in a row and we'll have Justin talk a little bit about that. But again, we are looking forward to this action. Justin, tell us the Patriots come in trying to get a road win and trying to continue their good start to the season. What are we

seeing from these Patriots? >> Well, I'll tell you, Josh, the River Patriots have been on an absolute tear this season. They're 4-2 coming off of a 2game win streak. Last week, they took on the Malden Golden Tornadoes and they won that game 51-34. Week before that, they took a little trip down to Chelsea and they won that game 46-35. I'm looking forward to see seeing how they perform. You know, that they got a really good record. It looks like the only team that has been able to like really put them in their place is Marblehead who won against the Patriots at 49-22. It should be interesting to see what everyone has in store, but we're going to pass it over to Chris Miller over at the table. We have a princip. [cheering] >> Now the

daily starting lineup will be in first for the visiting Patriots. >> Starting guard freshman number 15. A sophomore guard number 13. A sophomore guard number 23. Allison Oliver. A junior guard number three. Sarah Leette. and Cena C for number 22 Shaina Smith. And now for your reference time. [cheering] Starting the car number three, JULIANA. A sophomore, Abigail. Your senior captain for number 12, Nicole Thomas. Your senior captain guard number 15, Karine Land. And your senior captain guard number 23, KC Martino. [screaming and cheering] At this time, we ask you please rise and remove your head for the plane of tonight's national [music] Heat. [music] Heat. [music] Heat [music] [music] up here. [music] >> [music] [music] [cheering] [applause] >> All right, our starting lineups are in the books and we are just moment moments away from

tonight's opening tip. Greater Boston League rivalry. Now, Josh, from what I'm seeing, uh the the two teams have already both played against Chelsea, and the Patriots seemed to have done a much better job. Both won with 46 points. However, the Patriots were able to keep Chelsea at 35, whereas it was a much closer game for the Crimson Tide at 46-42. If that's any indication, we might be in for a very close game here. >> Absolutely. Yeah, I know. you look at it, there's uh you get you got the Chelsea common opponent. You you also have the Malden common opponent and River looking pretty good in that realm whereas Ever dropped a very close one to Malden. Reier had had won that game over Malden by a fairly significant score, 17 point advantage. But that was

the Crimson Tide's first game of the year when they lost to Malden. So we're looking forward to this one. At the end of the day, you got to put the scores on the paper off to the side and see how it plays out on the court. Here we go. Patriots take the opening tip. Haley Peralta for the Patriots going to grab that one. [cheering] Right there. We have Sarah Lechum. >> [cheering] >> Oh, nice pass down low. >> Good defense there turned aside by number three Juliano Rivera. And a great great attempt underneath the bucket for Allison Olivera. [screaming] >> Cat landerie driving to the basket. We're going to have a jump ball. Wow. Quick whistle there for a >> Yeah, and you know, Cat Olivera, we we heard her name a lot last time

we did one of these broadcast. She is one of the key players on this offense. Yeah, no doubt. She definitely was uh piloting the offense, getting a lot of the half court game going, driving to the basket, finding her teammates, a facilitator and a scorer at the rim. Landie looks to lead the Tides offensive attack. That's poked away. So, some good defense by the Patriots not allowing this inbound. 12 seconds now on the shot clock. This game has just started. >> You know, th this is probably why the Patriots have been, you know, more or less running the table here. Although, Nicole Damaseno coming in. And I tell you what, John, these players love to shut me up. And I couldn't be happier about it. But anytime I start talking about, you know, the potential

of making a counterplay or anything like that, they just put it in the bucket like, you know, Justin, maybe just let us do our jobs here. [laughter] Do was a name we called often in our last broadcast. A double double machine down low and scores right off the window. And a nice entry pass as well. Oh, a three-pointer is good right there by number 23. That is Allison Olivea. And Olivea now gets the Patriots on the board and they'll take the lead on that three-pointer. And I get the feeling that we're going to be hearing Damiseno's uh name a lot in this game as well. If you remember correctly, the last time that we did one of these, she was an absolute threat under the basket. You know, getting all of the rebounds and I'm

very much looking [screaming] forward to seeing how she performs today. And Catland drawing the offensive foul and will get it back for the Crimson Tide picking up the foul. That was number 22 captain Shaina Smith. Rivera looking for Damaseno. A little over the outstretched hands. That's going to be Patriot basketball on the turnover. You like the idea? Looking for Damaso, who definitely can work very well down in the painted area. And that basket's good by number 15. That is, of course, we have a roster not in numerical order. Addison Olwick, a freshman. >> Freshman on varsity. >> Yeah. >> You know, you don't see it too often, but when you do see it, that player's got to be something really special. >> Absolutely, Justin. They're there for a reason. And so a freshman getting varsity

minutes is clearly uh beyond their years. >> And I love and and you always love to see it because you know that that player is going to grow and be a leader of that team. You know they they have four years to get that done and each year they're only going to get better. If you start as a freshman, congratulations. You're one of the few. No doubt about it. We we saw it last year with the the recent graduation. Amelia Maria Babcock was a four-year varsity starter for the Crimson Tide. What a career that she had put together. >> Phenomenal athlete. >> And you're actually you're seeing it in the second year of number three, Julianiana Rivera, the sophomore for the Crimson Tide. Definitely is someone that can can make some things happen and seeing

a lot of time last year as a freshman. Also started and is a big time player. [cheering] The revered defense is quite impressive. I I I must say they're not giving them an inch. Not at all. And this is Dol Olivea again looking for another three-pointer. That one doesn't fall, but Patriots on top five-2. Five points split between Allison Alivera and Addison Olwick. >> Coach Riley Dunn giving the girls some encouragement from the bench. You know, just making sure keep your keep your keep a level head here and make sure that you're making the right play. Think about the pass before you throw it because honestly they're making the right plays I think but I don't think they're calculating, you know, the height of the P of the Patriots right now. So, we got a

follow there and it's going to be Nicole Damaseno who has the two Crimson Tide points going to the line looking for two more. >> And this is definitely a situation where you want to make these. Just like that. Just like that, Josh. Right in Damiseno. And again, I to I told you we said her name a lot last broadcast and I'm looking forward to saying it some more. Trying to get Haley Peralta going as the Patriot offense now sets up in the half court. Oo, screen set strongly by Shaina Smith. [cheering] Oh, nice [screaming] move right there. Number 15, Addison Olwick with four points. >> I liked the look of that play from Casey Martinez. Unfortunately, you overthrew it a bit and number five, Falcowski couldn't get her hands on it. >> Yeah, it was

a long pass. A lot of lot of court between that pass and just a little too long for Falcowski, but good idea is right. That's no good. Out of bounds. Going to stay with the Patriots as they'll have another opportunity to score here. They're up by four early on in this one. 73. 335 left in the first quarter. >> The thing that I'm noticing right now, Josh, is there's two key players on the Patriots that you got to look out for, and that's Olick, number 15, and number 23, Olivea. These are the two girls that have been involved in every play so far. If I'm Coach Riley Dunn, I'm making sure that I'm covering them all the way. >> Yeah, no doubt. >> And as I say that, >> Haley Baralta making a shot. >>

So, Patriots now will employ the fullourt press and we're going to have a timeout. Time out early in this one. >> I think it's a good call. >> Yeah, I do too. I think I think right now Crimson Tide just want to try to get settled a little bit. Playing a little faster, a little frenetic, settle down that pace. Patriots in control here early, but not not in an surmountable not insurmountable down by two scores. It's all it is, right? So, uh 3:30 left in this first quarter. Patriots on top by four. >> There's a look at the Patriots offense getting their instructions from their head coach. And Josh, what I what I think this is is the the Crimson Tide are just trying to read what the Patriots offense and defense is going to

look like. And if they're going to start doing the fullcourt press this early, that's going to be very interesting for the rest of the game because not the full court. I love the fullcourt press. You know, you you get a lot of pressure on the on the other team's offense and everything, but on the flip side, you got to run all the way back. If they get if they inbound that ball, you got to run all the way to the other side of the court. Now, it does look small on your on your phone if you're watching from your phone, but let me tell you, you take a lap or two, you're going to be out of breath. >> Absolutely. Conditioning is key and uh you got to got to definitely make it happen. >>

So, here we go. Tide will inbound against that press. It's all about the passing. Pass your way out of it. >> Rivera Delaney to Martinez who's got an open lane. >> Quickly locked up though by number three. That was Sarah Leche. Lechnab. >> Oh, the Euro step. That was a nice move. Couldn't go. Nice rebound land of Verie. Now Rivera pushing the pace trying to get something going for the Tide offensively. Tries it from downtown. That doesn't go. That >> was a great look at it though. >> And that's the shot you want Rivera looking for. Good defense by the Crimson Tide. [cheering] Bringing it down to about 15 seconds on the shot clock. [applause] Patriots had to do something there. [cheering] And the Crimson Tide going to force the foul. Absolutely. Great play. Believe

that was on 22 of the Patriots. That's going to be the captain, Shaina Smith. [cheering] >> Nice ball movement. Martinez thinks about it. Good defense by the Patriots. And that's going to be a foul on the Crimson Tide. Casey's going to pick up the foul after >> the steal by River. It's going to be interesting to see how the tide can dig their way out of this right now. I mean, the Patriots, from what I've seen so far, the Patriots have been uh amazing, spectacular even uh on both sides of the ball. They're they're playing that full pressure on defense. They've built an impenetrable wall that the Crimson Tide have yet to overcome. But, you know, I'm sure they're going to come up with something. you know, never never count Riley Dunn out of it,

but it's going to be tough. It's going to be an uphill battle here. >> No doubt. >> Again, it's it's it's just a two-score game, but it it does feel like it's full control Ree right now. They're just they're kind of they're kind of getting to their spots. It's just a matter of they haven't made they haven't made all the shots right there as well. Tide hanging tough. Good hustle by Rivera knocking that out of bounds. That's going to be Crimson Tide basketball. Great, great job by Rivera. Thought it was Crimson Tie. I saw the arrow that way, but it's it's Patriot basketball. >> I believe he was pointing to the player. I mean, not entirely sure what happened there either. It looked like Rivera was able to, you know, hit that up against the

Patriot right there. >> We had a good look at it, but Rivera may have been on the out of bounds line before she did. That's that's fair. >> And that's out of bounds. And that is definitely pointed to the ever direction. We're paying attention that time, playing close attention. Rivera inbounding to Martinez. And let's see what the Tide can come up with to get by this Patriots defense. Rivera found a lane. She took it. It looked good. Unfortunately, couldn't come up with the rebound. I do like that lane she took, though. >> Yeah. I mean, listen, you want Rivera being aggressive. She's a terrific outside shooter, but she's she's even better going to the basket. She has really, really good size. She dribbles the basketball very well. That's what you want Rivera trying to do,

making her way to the lane and trying to find an opening. And then, if anything else, we'll create the foul situation and go to the line. Oh, nice job by Martinez, able to cut off the potential intercepting lane of number two. That was Rebecca Marcato. And Marcato's going to actually pick up the foul. A little insult to injury there. Running into Martinez who did properly shield off Marcato for the the basketball. So, Crimson Tide ball as we approach as we're under a minute and a half left in this first quarter. Lowsing for both teams. And Josh, I appreciate what Martinez did there. You know, she made sure your first thing is, "Ah, dang, I fouled." But then she stopped, looked. Okay, foul's not on me. Help the Patriot up. >> Good sportsmanship always something that's

welcome here and should be across all sports platforms. That basket's good right there. And that was number 13, Haley Peralta. Peralta's been looking for a shot all game. I'm not surprised. That's number two for River. That was Marcado trying it from downtown. That's no good. just off to the right a little bit and a rye smile to the face of Marcato. You know who's always got a rye smile? Josh one [cheering] video engineer extraordinaire Joe Camley. And I'm sure he's got one right now. Appreciate you, Joe. >> Joe Camley. Always appreciate making sure all the moving pictures look pretty. >> That's right. And that speaking of Breny, that was a great shot by Martinez. >> Casey Martinez from downtown. Ty desperately needed that. And they are down by just three after the three by Martinez.

Out of bounds off the tripod of Tony LLA, our baseline camera. A little assist there. Let's see if his camera's balanced. If not, our engineer will let him know. There he is. >> There he is. Right on camera. Good job by our crew. [cheering] >> Rivera could not believe that there was no foul there. Oo, and saved by the bell right there. >> I tell you what, Baralta's going to want that one back. She tried to do a little fancy shot just to try and get it just to get it in easy. Maybe just stick to the basics. She had a little bit more time than she she thought. It's a little easier said than us. Although there is a scoreboard also straight ahead, but there was about an extra second and a half that

Peralta could have maybe taken the time uh gather gather herself. But at the end of it, one quarter in the books, it is the Rea Patriots up by three, 9-6. And you're looking at a little highlight package featuring what the Patriots were able to do there, turning good defense into better offense. >> Was this flown in today? Yeah. Oh, yeah. It was I like the uh the little the little dissolve there. The stinger. >> Oh, I love the stinger. Flown in. Brought to you by Bird Marchant. >> Oh, yeah. Bird Marchant. Ah, what a guy. The replay technician. Our director this evening, Anemosi. Jeff Natio streaming also bringing some graphics your way. Now, Josh, what does the Tide need to do here? Now, I for me personally, I notice they're not getting aggressive on the

rebound and you really got to start doing that because you you might only be down by a score, but like you said earlier, it's feeling like River has complete and utter control of the game, >> which I guess would be the bright spot for the Crimson Tide, right Justin? You you're down by three and it was it was hardly a well played quarter for the Tide. Coach Dunn would echo those sentiments and I'm sure that was some of the things talked about inside that huddle. They need to get some cohesion going offensively. little little bit jumbled up with some of the entry passes. There's a look at our superintendent Billy Hart. Always taking in the action here at the big house on the big hill. Billy uh number one fan. But yeah, Crimson Tide just

need to kind of get more flow going offensively. Defensively, I don't really have so much a problem with what they've done. They've played hard, the efforts there, but offensively a little bit disjointed in that first quarter. >> Yeah, and going to grab a travel there. Took one too many steps there. Uh, Superintendent Hart talking to one Tammy Turner, our athletics director, and she does such a great job. We we we we work with her a lot. Tammy's terrific. Tammy sets us up to win. Always presenting us with whatever we need in any realm of the athletics, always taking care of us. Also went in that shot. That was coach Dorettto, the football coach. So, uh, what a guy. Some some some good people over there talking shop as our Crimson Tide looks to get themselves

out of just a three-point hole. Again, manageable, but you got to get more aggressive on these rebounds. >> Even showed itself there. That's going to be out of bounds. Crimson Tide basketball, but you don't want to have to rely on on Re getting a hand on it and knocking it out of bounds. box out, get positioning and and and start to come up with those defensive rebounds. >> Looks like Ashley Heath is checking into the game. >> Ashley Heath, the junior guard number 22 for Everett. And it looked good. She's already trying starting to make an impact. >> [applause and cheering] >> This is going to be Captain Shaya Smith's first time to the line here. We'll see what she can do. One for one so far. Let's take a look at the replay here.

And it looks like Donoseno is just going to reach a bit too much and pick up the penalty for Everett. >> Falcowski. Nice pass. Nice move by Martinez. The crossover. Can't get it to go, but a nice move nonetheless. again. Martine the Martinez probably had another half second there where she could have set set her feet and got that in. Uh, you know, but adrenaline runs high. I'm not the one running back and forth on the court. Falcowski gets tied up. That's going to be a traveling violation. [cheering] And we're going to have a timeout called >> by River. Now, what do you think they're talking about over there on the River bench, Josh? >> I'd say right now Reier is is just again total control of the game. The score is not so much

reflecting that, but if if you're inside that huddle, if you're the coach, you're just you're continuing to stay the course. If everything continues to play out, that that lead will swell and there's no doubt. And the Tide are going to have to um you know, up their ante to try to keep that from happening. But again, uh, the Patriots, as far as I'm concerned, fundamentally right now, are clicking on on on just about most cylinders. They just haven't had, uh, a lot of their shots falling, but they've been able to get to their spots. They're executing their offense. Defensively, they've been very sound, and they're taking advantage of some of the miscalculations by the Tide on the other side. So, we'll see. And again, for the Crimson Tide, still not a bad place to be.

This is a two-score game. That's nothing. It's 10 to six, but it just doesn't feel like that. We keep reiterating that, but I just I haven't seen that that simplicity to to the Tide offense, that flow that you want to see that we know can be seen. So, we'll see how they respond after this timeout. And Patriot basketball up by four. [cheering] wide open lane there for number 23 that's Allison Olivera now with five >> and again Josh now what what I'd like to see is just a little more aggression on the rebounds that it it doesn't appear that Everett is you know put I'm not going to say putting in the effort I was going to say that but they're definitely putting in the effort But I need them to be more aggressive on

the rebound. And that's that's what I see as the problem here. That's going to be a three-pointer for Shaina Smith right there. Wow. Don't don't look away. As I'm looking down on my paper, Shaina Smith knocks it down. And just like that, Justin, now the lead is starting to balloon up by nine. Patriots steal. >> What a great steal there by Lev. >> That's going to be a traveling violation. So the the the Tide will catch a break there and get it back on the turnover. Now, how do you stop the fullcourt press here? >> I mean, it's it's it's got to be done with passing, especially something like that. That's not exactly what it looks like every time, but an excellent outlet pass by Martinez to Doeno is one quick way, Justin, where you

can break the pass, break the press. >> And I was telling you, Josh, doeno, here's a girl who you can who plays both sides of the ball really well, is really aggressive on the rebounds, and is always there when you need it. Love to see it. What an athlete. Yeah. No, doing a great job. Unfortunately, right now the Patriots offense is in full gear. Olive with another quick two. Seven points for Allison Olive. That one was for you, Bird. So, tied basketball down by nine. And you're still in a manageable position here. It's not like they're, you know, double digits up on you yet, but you want to keep it to the nine if anything. >> Loose ball goes to the Patriots. >> But I do like the attempt by Damiseno there. She was underneath

the basket and you know, unfortunately that one didn't go her way, but she's getting more aggressive with the rebounds, which is what I I'm gonna keep saying it's all on blue in the face, Josh. They're not blue yet, but I tell you what, what is blue is on the court right now. It's all Patriots. They are rolling right now. Three-pointer good by Sarah Leche. You look at the Patriots offense just going to move the ball. Lechub just no one near Sarah as takes the wideopen three able to knock it down with precision and the Patriots offense will look for opportunities like that as they have now built this into a 12point advantage. Tide entering the danger zone now >> fence is going for the Patriots and the Tide just again now now it's starting to

show itself on the defensive side. You have to stick with your assignments. Yeah, and Josh, you know, it started out uh where it looked like uh the Patriots were only relying on two players. That's going to be Oliveivera and Olwick. But, you know, they're starting to pass the ball around more. Shaina Smith's in the action. Uh and Lashb clearly their three-point shooter. It it's got if if it continues this way, we're going to continue to see the trend that we've been seeing, which is Patriots going to up that lead immensely. That's right. So, we'll see. Tied after the timeout. Four minutes left in this first half. And >> great steal there by number 13. That's going to be Peraltto. We've said her name a few times. >> Unable to finish though. Jess Rams out, but

Patriots with the offensive rebound. [screaming] >> 23. >> Allison Olivera with the second three-pointer of the evening. And we got a traveling violation. >> [applause] [cheering] >> This is just all around a really solid and well put together machine. The the Rever Patriots are making it look easy the way that they're, you know, lowering the tide. Yeah, it's uh it is low tide right now. Something uh Rean knows well. Rean Beach, right? >> Oh, yeah. >> Big Biankey's guy. I love I love a nice Biankey's pie. It's been a while. Oh, that was a good slice of pizza from from the younger years of uh Josh Delgazo heading down the boardwalk. >> Big Kelly's roast beef down the >> You can't go wrong with that either. >> Let's see what Land of Vver's got to

say. >> Nice basket by Cat Landie off the window. Gets the Tide. A desperate hoop right there. They needed that. Down by 13 trying to employ the press themselves. River breaks it. Nice hands by Martinez. The steal, the pass to Land of Verdie. And that's going to be a foul coming back into the picture. That's going to be number three, Sarah Leche. And Land of Verdie in a little bit of pain here coming up. Good. Good. Again, good sportsmanship always displayed. You love to see it. >> You do love to see it. And we're going to have Landervery going to the line. That's going to be it's going to be called on the floor. So, not a shooting foul, but tied with a chance to cut into this Patriot lead. And that's going to be

a jump ball. It will stay with the Crimson Tide. Good defense by Shaya Smith able to tie up Doiseno, but Tide will again benefit from the arrow of the jump ball possession. >> Yeah, and Dominoseno is usually all over those. I mean, I we've seen her time and time again. Uh, you know, grab the grab the rebound, put it right back up, and I'm I'm actually surprised that uh, you know, she she wasn't able to push that one through. There's a look at Peralta picking up, knocking it out of bounds. [screaming] That's Amanda Vero. And another jump ball. We just had one. They uh And that's Patriot basketball. >> Shout out to Maria Helena Ranger on camera one. Oh, no. Camera. What's that? Three. >> Camera three. She was on camera one last game. >>

Correct. Correct. Who do we have on camera one? That's Pedro Enrique Dilva. >> Yes. Dilva's on camera one. >> Oh man. Manavo. Great rebound. Nice job by Verero with the rebound then finds Rivera over to Lander Verdie that just rims out. Tied. Stay with it. Ooh, and that almost went but Landerver's going to go to the line shooting two. And I love to see that. Land of Verie didn't give up. Followed the ball, got her own rebound and is able to go to the line to shoot two. That's what we've been missing the entire game. Good job, Landerverie. >> Yeah, good effort right there. Orlando definitely giving it everything out there and and hopefully that can become kind of contagious throughout the team right now. That rims out. Take a look at it. Landerie gets

it. Puts it up. Unable to get it. Grabs her own rebound. Was able to steal it away actually from 22. the the captain of the Patriots, Shaya Smith. And great job just following the ball. You keep playing like that, you'd get out of this deficit. But not if uh number 23 Allison Olivera has anything to say about it. >> Yeah. And Allison Olivera, don't look now. 12 points to her name. But Martinez with a quick answer. Tide needed that. >> [cheering] [screaming] >> Wow, that's a nice basket right there by number two Rebecca Marcado. It's her first basket of the evening. Rivera looking for that three, which they desperately need right now. I do like Rivera that, you know, she's always in her spot, you know, making sure that if they need to pass the

ball to her, she's open and she does a great job being open. >> Yeah, Rivera is a terrific player. Hopefully that offense. Love to see it kind of run through Rivera. That that's definitely something that can help get them back into this game. Rivera is going to try that right now from three. That doesn't go. But again, the one thing that we're not seeing, Josh, and I'm going to keep saying it, >> rebounds. >> Yeah, Rea is definitely on on both ends of the floor. They're getting second and third chance opportunities when they have the basketball, and then otherwise they're not letting Ever have those. They're getting their defensive rebounds. There it is again. Offensive rebound, the hoop, and some harm. It's Haley Peralta. And Haley will go to the line for a chance at

a three-point play after that offensive rebound. The putback's good. These are the things that you have to clean up. >> Yeah. And it and it makes a huge difference. Obviously, like I don't think ever playing poorly at all. Unfortunately, they are just getting outplayed. And a big part of that and yeah, I'm going to like I said, going to keep saying it till I'm blue in the face. Unfortunately, it is that they're not getting they're not following the ball. They're not getting rebounds. Rivera with a great save to land Verie and was uh thanked by her with a little little love tap to the head with the ball. So we're in the final minute here. >> Patriots on top by 17. That's a two. doesn't go. >> Everett's going to get possession there. >> See

if the tie can just get a hoop here. Try to try to cut this into again more of a manageable situation. Yeah, if I'm the tide, I'm trying to get as many points as I can right here. And then uh fullcourt press. You're in the last minute. You're down by 17. You need something. And it and if you got to get physical like Casey Martinez is showing us, >> do it. >> Yeah, Casey's playing tough, playing hard. That's what you want to see. Just just again, maximum effort. Always have an honest effort. It's all you can ask. Got 30 seconds left in this first half. Been all Patriots here to start. >> Yeah. And if I'm the Patriots, I'm not rushing here. You know, you can you got plenty of time. >> Oh, they should

have listened to you. >> Yeah. No, no point in uh you know, trying to give uh Everett a chance to score like this right here. >> Got the rebound. Oh, no correction. That's number 13 newly into the game. Rosita Petta Loon. >> And who else but Land of Verdie to get two points. >> Big big time. Nice nice first half by Land of Verdie. And and that is it, Justin. Right. I mean, you had the Patriots had the shot clock turned off. They could have easily have taken the last shot. Tied make them pay at least for that possession getting the hoop with what could have been the last shot cutting this deficit to 15. But nonetheless, tied up against it right now. They can change it though. They can come out with a big

third quarter. Here's a look at that replay. That last basket made by Catlanderie. Nice job taking what's what was given to them. And we'll see what coach Dunn and her staff can go over and get things get the ship right back on track for the Tide. But here we go. So third quarter will be here shortly for this one. Now it's the first half. It's the Patriots. They're on top by 15. And again, we'll see if if the Tide have something special up their sleeve and can and can kind of flip the script. But uh don't go anywhere, folks. We have more second half action coming your way. At this time, [music] Heat. Hey, heat. Hey, heat. [music] Heat. Heat. [music] >> [music] >> All right, girls. Take out your raffle tickets. >> The number

called will be given one free throw for a Ever Crimson Tide swag bag. All right, here's the winning raffle ticket number for the lucky luck fans. Number 706 >> 280 >> Destiny will be taking our free throw for the ever time swag day. >> [music] [music] >> Heat. Heat. [music] Heat. Heat. [music] >> [music] >> Yeah. [music] Heat. [music] >> [music] [music] >> Heat. Heat. >> [music] [music] >> Hey, >> [music] [music] >> Heat. Heat. >> [music] [music] >> Heat. Heat. [music] Heat. [music] Heat. [music] >> [music] >> All right, we are back and ready to start the second half here. It's the River Patriots over the Crimson Tide on top by 15 29-4. I'm Josh Delgazo joined by Justin Han. And for the Crimson Tide in that first half, it they they were able

to kind of weather the storm in that first quarter. It wasn't their best, but they were only down by four at the end of one. But then you saw that Patriot offense really come to life. While you saw you saw some flashes from the Crimson Tide get it going offensively, but not to the extent of the barrage that we saw from the Patriots. >> Yeah, Josh, the the ever Crimson Tides having a hard time getting it together. Particularly, I'm not seeing any pressure underneath the basket on offense or defense. The name of the game here is stop the Patriots from getting in the paint. They they've made a few three-pointers, but if I'm the if I'm the Crimson Tide right now, I'm trying to get my hands on the ball at any moment in time

in in this second half. >> Yeah, we'll see what we'll see how the uh the tide can kind of turn the tide if if if you will. See if they can get something going here. They'll they'll need a good start to this third quarter and and try to try to make that happen. And if there's one person I'm looking for on the Crimson Tide to kind of lead this team in the second half, it's number 15, Cat Landie. What a great start. What a great way to say it. I say it, she does it. Now, here's a girl, and I'm telling you, she has played phenomenally this entire game in in every game. Here's a girl that on both sides of the ball is getting agg more and more aggressive throughout the game and you're

seeing it. >> Shaya Smith with the answer right there. The basket and the foul. Chance at a three-point play. >> But I I'll tell you, Josh, I like what I'm seeing so far. We're, you know, 30 seconds in to this third quarter and already I can see uh the Ever Crimson Tide getting more aggressive. Even in this replay that we're taking a look at here, I saw a lot more white shirts in there. >> Smith misses. Landed with the rebound, looking to push the pace. Landie has six points for the Crimson Tide. Rivera drives to the basket. That's no good. And that's coming your way, huh? Whoa. Justinian Luther Han with the assist. >> Hey, you got hands on that. >> I got in the game. >> Yeah, you did. >> Look at that. >>

And it's Crimson Tide basketball, huh? How about this guy? >> I played a game or two in my day. [applause] >> You got a foul coming up. >> Although camera number two, Anthony Lelaw, known as Tony Lelaw. >> Tony Lelaw, >> uh, is apparently the best basketball player on the crew is what he's he's telling us. >> I think Tonyy's uh, discounting what I can do, but that's fine, Tony. That's fair. >> Might have to uh, broadcast a one-on-one action. >> We might have. I know. I know we could play. I know he's got size, but uh depends what number we play to. [cheering] Go to 100. I'll I'll outlast him. Rebound by the Crimson Tide. Looking to push. Nice look right there. Right over Lander Verdie, but 22 was able to make the save.

That was Ashley Heath. And Falcowski loses it. And if I'm Falcowski, I'm going to risk a jump ball there. I'm just going to hold on to it. >> Yeah, no doubt. I I I think uh you know, just just try to keep that wrestle that in. You'll get that jump ball. And the Patriots with the offensive rebound that goes and the putback goes to number 15 Addison Olwick Rivera playing a little uh cat and mouse here over to Land of Verdie who's caught in a lot of Patriots traffic. >> Yeah, great job by Landervery just you know motor is always always running right the engine's on and Landerver is giving it what what she has and uh that's that's what you want to see. Good job by Cat. Really phenomenal athlete. [cheering] >> Take over

a look over at the uh other side of the court there. or not. Is that is that possibly? Of course it is. School committee member Robin Babcock. If there's an ever event, you know she's there. Robin Babcock always here getting some photos. See what Land Rover can do here. >> Great photographer she is. What a great shot. >> That is a really nice look at it. >> You seeing how Tony Lelaw is getting it, too. Look at him over there. What a guy. Nice >> job by the crew as always. >> Graduated senior. >> Yes, that's correct. >> Class of 2025. It's wild, isn't it? Jump ball. It's going to be Patriots basketball on the jump. Tide still hey in striking distance here if they could just get that momentum and keep it. >> I

liked what I saw coming out of the gate the in the uh second half. You know, they're playing a lot more aggressively. They're getting rebounds like Donoseno right there getting the rebound and uh yeah, just like what I'm seeing from the Tide right now and they're forcing quite a few fouls on the Patriots. >> That's right. getting them into some foul trouble. Next one, the tide will be shooting freebies at the line. Five puts you in the bonus. There's 14 fouls on on Huia. He thinks about the three, looks down low to Damaseno. Little behind Nicole, unable to corral it. Patriots have the steel. Olive hit a few tonight. That one doesn't go. Rebound going to be out of bounds. Crimson Tide basketball. Now I wonder if Rivera is going to look uh heat's way

again because she was wide open that whole time. Uh you know still goes for the land of hattick there who's brings it into Donoseno who's quickly fouled. We're going to take a trip to the line. Yeah, but we're in the bonus situation now. So, the Tide will be shooting free throws until this quarter ends with every foul. >> Is that athletic director Tammy Turner? >> This is uh this is a thing we do every time Tammy Turner walks by the table. And and although the viewers at home may not be able to see it, you could see Tammy in the shot now heading towards the Crimson Tide bench. [cheering] >> We uh we we always are just obligated to give a loud shout out. One that has the biggest eye roll from Tammy Turner. I

live for it. >> Live for it. An eye roll that that the Undertaker would blush at. [laughter] >> I like that one. Rivera for three. Oh, just rims out. But a great effort and a great Oh, just a great time. >> It's a great time. >> I can't even think right now. Oh my god. >> So, Crimson Tide basketball with another chance at getting some points on the board. Down by 13. But again, I love the fact that coming into the second half, the Tide seems to be all about the rebound game. You think they're watching the broadcast? I I hope so. This is uh I think a terrific broadcast. They should be tuned in. We see a lot out there. Out of bounds, Crimson Tide basketball. >> They're playing basic ball. >> Correction overruled.

Much to the delight of the Patriot bench, but that's Patriot basketball. >> Got a little bit of a sub. Falcowski coming out. Amanda Vetero coming in who recently celebrated a birthday. >> Amanda Vero. >> That's right. >> Happy birthday, Amanda is right. A belated birthday, but uh still worth the wishes. Landanda Ferie knocks it down from downtown and all of a sudden we have a 10-point game and I tell you a lot of that is because of Landerie. She's putting in the work. She's, you know, getting the rebounds, being open at the right times and putting the ball up. She's doing a phenomenal job here in the second half. Landervery leading the way with 11 points for the Crimson Tide, teaming up with Nicole Damaseno, who has six points. Here's a look at that replay.

Landervery steps towards the wing and knocks it down. Big time hoop right there from a big-time player. The Tide needed that one and all of a sudden some good defense from the Tide has themselves within 10 points. This was a 2914 rever lead at halftime. The Tide have whittleled it to 10 on this timeout. So, let's see if they can get it to singles. It's been it's been early on into the first half since this was a uh deficit by singles. So, let's see if they can cut it there and we'll take it each each step of the way on the staircase. This is nice right now. >> Oh, yeah. No, Josh. And I think a big start to this second half is the fact that the Patriots already have the five foul mark. So,

we're going to be taking trips to the line anytime they foul. It's going to be huge for the tie. Uh taking, you know, forcing fouls on either sides of the ball, you're going to take a trip to the line and you're going to potentially get two points. And that's why you want to be aggressive in that situation. Attack the basket. Be aggressive. That's one way you can put the pressure on the referees and the Patriots defense. They'll either have to play it one of two ways. Trying to uphold the line and put it on the officials or maybe playing the Olay defense. Let them go and and not pick up the foul. Another offensive rebound though. There's one thing that hasn't really corrected itself. It's Rever controlling the offensive glass. Once again, it's Addison Olick

and Olick is putting together a strong game. And doing a really great job there, but not as good of a job. Hey, look at you getting in the game. [cheering] Uh not as great of a job as Rivera getting to, you know, jump out of bounds, knock that ball onto the Patriots legs and, you know, making a clean recovery for Everett there. Great rebound there. Landed Verie, great job staying in bounds. Landerie with the rebound. And I like what I'm saying. Lander Verdie's really really coming on strong here. 13 points just in the right place at the right time. Good touch on the basket. This is what you want to see again. Tide keep it at 10. Olick now drives to the basket. Leaves it for Peralta. And that's a big time hoop. Haley Peralta

knocks that down. >> Yeah. And Peralta will take that shot anytime that you'll give it to her. So you want to watch out for that. But Blander Verdie will take that shot anytime you let her. >> Heating up. Lander Verdie's got 16. Phenomenal player. And I Josh, I don't know what Riley Dunn asked or, you know, said to the team at halftime, but it's clearly working because I'm seeing a completely different Crimson Tide here in the second half. Yeah, it's it's palpable. Different effort, different different flow to the game. Tide have it down to nine. We've talked about getting it to singles for a while. It's a nine-point game right now pending this Patriot possession. This is really really where you want to be. Still plenty of time left in this game for the Tide

to turn things. >> Yeah, Josh, you said it. You still got plenty of time. And I love the look, the defensive looks that the Tide are bringing out. That was a ruled a two-pointer. Um, but that was a big shot by Marcato. The Patriots have just one thing they've had tonight is they've had the answer. Land of tries to have the answer. That's no good. [cheering] >> That's going to be Crimson Tide basketball. Tide's going to keep it there. pass does not make it to do. >> Looking for Damaseno. Everyone's looking for Damaseno today, but she can't seem to find herself open. >> Well, I mean, it's it's it's it's not it's not a bad play. You know how strong she can be down in the painted area, but the passes have to be precise.

Oh, Land of Verie. Nice move. >> Great look by Landerverie. Great steal. however, [cheering] by the Patriots, but you know, she stepped out of bounds. >> So, Crimson Tide basketball chance to get this back into singles. Big possession right here. They're all big at this point. You just have to you have to be sure of that pass. >> Tide will Tide will benefit from it getting knocked out of bounds by the Patriots. That was a nice entry pass by Heath to Damiseno. And that's how it's got to look. Great pass by Heath. Better finish by Damaseno. >> And that's what we've been talking about with Damaseno. When she actually gets the ball and she's in the paint, you know that ball's going in. >> Terrific. [cheering] Oh, that's a traveling. Looked like a traveling violation.

Not called. Olive is going to try it from downtown and the Patriots make them pay. >> So far, Josh, the Tide is able to bring it down to the a 9point disadvantage, but that uh unfortunately every time they do, it looks like the Patriots are just getting more points on the board. What do what do what do we got to do to, you know, lower that? >> [cheering] >> Yeah, I mean it's it's one of those things where you got to keep up on the offensive side, but you're going to have to be able to do you're going to have to be able to get it right on the defensive side. It's really the glass. I mean, you got to hit the glass. You got to keep the rebounds. You got to be able to

defensive rebound. The Patriots have already found they have found their offensive rhythm. You cannot allow second and third chance opportunities, which has been pretty much a common thread throughout this game. >> Yeah. And you definitely got to protect the outer rim. Uh when the Patriots get inside the paint, they're dangerous. But right now, number 23 Allison Olivea is lethal from outside the paint. >> So out of bounds. Looks like there was uh it's going to be Crimson Tide basketball, but not uh just just ruled out of bounds. >> So, we'll have the inbound cuz again, we're in the bonus situation. So, no foul there. >> Riley Dunn not agreeing with that call. >> Yeah. Yeah, definitely appeared to be some contact, but uh nonetheless, Crimson basketball, so you can still you can still find a

way to get get this possession right. [cheering] Rivera unable to make that three. [cheering] [screaming] Great deep. And that's what I'm saying. If you give the Patriots the opportunity to take the three, they're going to take it every time. Uh the these girls are really really lethal from outside the paint. >> Yeah, they've shot the ball really well. They started off a little slow and that was one of the things that kind of kept the game at bay for the Crimson Tide. But then as as this game has gone on, the Patriots again have found their mark and they're doing it with good ball movement, finding the open shooter, and you said it Justin, they have they have quite a few spaces on the floor that can knock down those shots. It's not like it's

just one or two players. Seems like everyone has a pretty good range within their game and if they're getting the open look, they have the green light to shoot. Patriots can take the last shot. Shot clock is turned off. They they do not do that. Why not? You have a player like Alivera who's just lighting it up. That is the fourth three-pointer made by Allison Ala. Almost answered by Rivera. >> So after what was really the Crimson Tides third quarter, that ending by the Patriots pushes the margin. It it's back to a draw in that quarter. It's it's back to 15. That's where we were at halftime and that's where we stand now after three. Not by any shortage from Catland who was terrific in that quarter. Also, you're seeing Rivera knock down that three-pointer.

But it was really uh the Patriots barrage at the end that really pulled them through. But a good role at some of the plays you're looking at from the Crimson Tide that helped get them back in it. And again, if you're on the Crimson Tide, if you're singing the optimistic song, what you're doing is what you're saying. You you saw how quickly you could get into that. You still have eight minutes. You have some time. It's going to take a very good start to this quarter to help get that going, much like they did in that third quarter, but frustrating to see how quick when the Patriots turn it on where they can how they can distance themselves in this game. >> Yeah, Josh. I mean, Ever's doing a great job getting the rebounds, getting

underneath the basket, and making the plays happen. Unfortunately, uh, Ravier's really found its footing, uh, offensively, particularly from outside the paint. Uh, there were so many times where, you know, the the defense was stopping them and then, uh, you find an out you find a player on the outside and they they got an open shot, they're going to take it and I want to say like it's been like 60 70% of the time they're making that shot. It it it's it's a wonder to watch. But let's see. We are at the uh top of the fourth quarter here and let's see what the Tide can do. So jump ball. It's going to be Patriot possession with the arrow. So that basically works out to be like a steel. [cheering] And I like what the Tide's

doing. The zone defense was working. >> But again, I I'm telling you, Josh, it's 23 in particular. Olivea has been phenomenal. >> Five threes. She's been phenomenal. [cheering] And I'm not entirely sure what >> ever can do to stop them right now. >> And this is not what they needed. This is a quick start for the Patriots who now have their lead up to 20 points. That was Sarah Leche. By my count statistically, Olivera has 21 points. And that's that's unofficial. Of course, we got a foul here. going to stay with the Crimson side shooting foul. >> Damaseno going to take a trip to the line. Look at that. Number 23, Oliveivera. Phenomenal. She's having a game and she knows it, too. >> Yeah, she does. And uh you know what's more? >> Sophomore. >>

So, River's got a bright future for at least the next two years. >> Sure does. Looks pretty good. And >> they got 21 points for the sophomore. just rims out Josh. >> So Damaseno unable to connect at the line. Oh, got one of two rather. One of two [cheering] correction. So tied down by 19. >> Land of Verdie had a pretty good look at that. Almost made the steel. Almost made the steal again. So, we got a foul call here on the Crimson Tide. >> Yeah, that was going to be Ashley Heath who gets the foul there. And that goes not only that, but she's going to get a uh a chance for three, I think. Sure is. And if there's one person on the Patriots I don't want to get any more points, >>

it's Oliver. >> Olive Vera. Now another basket. 23 points matching her number. >> This is a chance at a three-point play. She's made plenty of those from beyond the arc just just from the field. That doesn't go. Rebound goes to Martinez pushing the pace. >> Martinez with the jets. >> Nice look to Verro. [applause] And we have a foul called. Really good job by Martinez pushing the pace. Finds Amanda Veriro. And we had a foul I guess just prior to the pass. So Crimson Tide basketball. >> Finds Martinez at the top of the paint. Looking at a wide open Heath. Unfortunately unable to get that basket which the Tide desperately need right now. But Shaina Smith says I'll show you how it's done. >> Yeah. On the other end, Shaina Smith knocks it down. Coach

Dunn is going to take a timeout and the Patriots are now running away with this one on top by 24. 619 remaining here in this fourth quarter. It's all Patriots. >> Yeah, Josh. And normally when you say it's all Patriots, I'm a little more excited because as you know the Patriots in the divisionals, talk about it talking about football here. Uh they're they're in the divisionals for the first time in what since 201 >> 2018 the the year they won the Super Bowl. Their last Super Bowl win which came over the Rams was the last time they had won a playoff game. And uh they are in the divisional round which is a excellent place to be for our Patriots with the 3:00 time slot this Sunday taking on a Houston Texans team. >> You

know Billy Hart's going to be watching. >> Billy Hart in the house. [screaming] But anyway, uh normally when you tell me that the Patriots are, you know, getting all these points, I pretty excited. But as you know, I'm a big fan of the Crimson Tide and unfortunately with 6 seconds 90, you would have to play an almost perfect game. 6 minutes 19 seconds, I should say. Uh you you're going to have to play almost a perfect game to get this back. >> Yeah, it listen, it's it's you have you have some time, but exactly that. It would have to be perfect. It's going to have to start right now in this possession. It's going to have to start with defense. It's going to have to be a totally different look than what we've seen from

the Crimson Tide. I [applause] uh the percentages aren't in their favor, but you always want to see you empty the gas tank and play hard to the final whistle no matter what because sometimes you can take momentum to with you to the next game, albeit even if this one doesn't end with the result you're looking for. So, there still is a way to finish a game, something that coach Dunn and her staff will preach to her players. >> Yeah, and Josh, we saw it in the last game. uh you know, Somerville, uh the last game that we casted, uh Somerville came in 2 minutes 11 points. If if the Tide can do that, we're in for a game. And Land of Verdie looking to make get it done finding Martinez, who unfortunately could not find

I believe that's Heath. >> Yeah, it's plays. Uh that that was tough right there. You're trying you're trying to set up your teammates. You're trying to make something happen. Casey Martinez has played again maximum effort. Gives you everything everything she has right now. The five on the court playing tough. Definitely enjoy what they're doing and and and seeing that again from a coach's eye. You want to see everyone playing as hard as you can. Patriots just on another level of execution right now. Ow with another basket. Josh, the guys in the back have been doing some math and you know those guys, they're must have taken them a little bit, but it turns out uh if 23 doesn't score at all, River is still up a point. So, if Olivea didn't score at all, River

is still up by a point right now. >> Thank you for those stats. >> That's that's a real good nugget from from the team, from the truck, and we'll uh we'll we'll happily run with that. And it just goes to show you that while Olivea has put together a career evening, the the scoring is still balanced for the Patriots. They have a number of other players that are that are more than capable. You've seen it with Addison Olick, Haley Peralta, Rebecca Marcado, Sarah Lechup. How about the captain Shaina Smith? Those are all non Olivea. And then of course there is Allison Olive who you just saw in your shot rising up off the bench with the game that she's had. Big- time performances by big-time players. And Allison Olive, we talked about it. Only a

sophomore future looking very bright for the Patriots. Checking back into the game for the Crimson Tide. Number 13, Rosita. Pina Lon replacing Juliana River. Oh, actually, correction, Ashley Heath checked out of the game. >> That was almost a big steal by Lon there. Great rebound by Heath there. Excuse me, Falcowski. Martinez tries to make a move over to Land Verdie and a foul is called. >> [applause] >> Wick coming out and number 21 Zora Benera. >> Benera Benera. >> Yeah, we're going to go with Zoa Benera checking into the game. And it looks like River is taking out some of its starters going to some of their bench players. And I I think you'll see there'll be two more substitutions that they'll make. You'll you'll see Sarah Lechib and then you'll see Shaina Smith. And

I think they do it more for the the ovation they get from their respective team's bench giving the rightful applause to those players that have played so well for the Patriots tonight. >> Yeah, absolutely. I mean, the numbers say it all and the guys in the back did the math. As surprising as that may be, uh, but [laughter] you know, you're up 26 points for a reason, which is insane. >> Martinez hitting the floor on that last possession, leaving it out there. Oh, nice pass by Smith. Good defense by Martinez. Lecher brings it out for the Patriots. Down to 10 on the shot clock. Good D by Damaseno. It's going to stay with the Patriots. 9 seconds on the shot clock. [cheering] [screaming] And they got to find something here. And they sure do. At

the buzzer, Shaina Smith. Who else but the captain? >> Yeah, >> would be able to pull that off. >> The big time hoop from the lefty able to knock that down. >> There's the captain Shaina Smith, >> who has not come out all game, I don't think. >> That's right. No, >> showing why she is the captain. That's right. Of this team. >> Good job by Martinez. Gets followed by Leche. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. [applause] looking for Damasano, but that's going to be stolen by number 11, Sonia Haley. Josh, you know what's fun? And I'm sure uh one theater director Matt Lblaw will appreciate this one. Uh it's National Rubber Ducky Day. Oo. Yeah. Now, as you know, uh the theater office is full of rubber ducks, which somehow ended up in his

office. Who's to say? Uh but, you know, he's a big fan of the rubber ducks. Matt Lelaw. >> Yeah. Yeah. Matt Lelaw, ever since he became a Jeep guy, as we know, seems to be synonymous with the the Jeep world. One that um >> I never quite understood that. >> Yeah. And there he is. Uh the the rubber duck has appeared. >> [cheering] >> Kitty Cat Matt. >> That's right. >> Affectionately known as >> That's right. >> During uh action on the floor, we had an offensive foul going against the Patriots. So, Crimson Tide basketball with some wholesale changes coming in. And you're seeing it also for the Patriots. Is finally checking out of the game is captain Shaina Smith. And here's a look at what happened. >> Oh, it was Falcowski taking the spill.

Nice job by Falcowski hanging in there, able to take that foul. That's not an easy thing to do. And a really nice put back by Rosita Pinet Loon able to get >> the first basket of the evening to her name. So nice job by Lon. Sarah Lechub also checked out of the game for the Patriots. another starter that logged just about every minute on the floor. And we're going to have another foul for against the Patriots. And that is uh the bonus situation for the Crimson Tide. So we have some free throws coming up and it will be Rosita Pinet Loon looking for some more scoring to her stat line. >> You know what's great about this Josh is there's 155 left but every time you foul the clock stops. If the if the Crimson

Tide are actually able to, you know, force the fouls and they might actually make a comeback here. It's a slim chance, but I'm I'm >> I am saying there's a chance. I'm I'm I'm not saying the pipes are frozen. I'll tell you that much. >> Yeah, my internet hasn't been working that well lately. It's funny you bring that up and I think it is due to the frozen pipes in my house. >> Well, you got to you got to have the Verveetian and come check those. [laughter] Love it. Love it. Patriots now on the move. Great D. Great D so far. But again, the only way uh the Tide unfortunately is going to win this is by doing exactly what Vero just did is getting the ball and then forcing a foul. [cheering] >> They

went over to >> Did she go and say hi to the guys? >> I hope so. over, you know, >> I see our sea stands are uh right in their rightful place. >> Yeah, >> next to terterod deck territory. >> So, we're we're good there. Uh Vo, Amanda Vero, uh also not just an athlete, you know, I know she plays volleyball. I know she plays basketball, but she's actually one of our camera people. >> That's right. We have we have been uh unfortunately haven't had the privilege of having Verterero for much of this winter production season as she is clearly in front of you on the screen playing for the girls basketball team. And I know that she's also a girls lacrosse player. So we'll see uh we we'll see what what kind of what

kind of opportunities we can get for Vera working for our crew who does a really nice job. You know, Josh, she just likes being in front of the camera. Maybe maybe we got to get her on the announcers desk. Maybe that'll, you know, have her come in. No, but but we do love the fact that she is an athlete and she's a great athlete at that. She puts all a lot of effort into it. Gives 110% in every game that she plays. And but we miss you, Amanda. >> Yeah. No, a great student athlete, great great ambassador to the school and uh Amanda always uh always [applause and cheering] in our hearts and on our minds. So good to see Amanda putting it out there, playing hard. I know she's very close with our baseline

camera operator, Maria Helena Rangel. Maria Elena. And I love Maria Helena Rangel's camera work. You know, she does a great job at any position you put her in. You put her in the top cam, she's getting it. You put her on the sidelines, she's getting it. She does a great job. And you know what? This is only her second year doing this. No, she's great. Now, unfortunately, she is one of our seniors, so we will be watching her go across the stage. But wish her the best. >> Well said, Justin. Well said. Speaking for all of us there. Casey found a good lane getting in there. [screaming] >> Oh, that was a great pass by Vero finding Domain. >> That's exactly what Amanda was doing there. You could see it on her face, too. She

was like, "Whoops." But, uh, no, great, great job. by the tide here. O Casey Casey Martinez taking a shot there. Thankfully Casey's pretty tough, able to shake that right off. And of course, we're shouting out the whole crew. That's That's our game camera, Pedro Haniki Dilva. Good look at Pedro, the young junior yolked out of his gourd. Check out those arms, man. Oh man, those pipes those sleeves are about to bust open. >> Oh man, Pedro's hitting the gym hard. You can see it. >> Pedro's favorite teacher. If you're watching, >> hey, Mr. O'Donnell, how you doing? >> Yeah, I know. Mr. Alex O'Donnell, the video production teacher. Uh, a mentor to Pedro. No doubt. Pedro has questions every day that go answered with Mr. O'Donnell. Often driving a lot of the, uh, the scuttlebutt

in that classroom. Nice job by Pinet DeLoon. Over to Heath from downtown. That's no good. Rebound kept alive. That's Martinez. Oh, looking for it. Down to the final 10 seconds here. >> And Martinez says, I'm going to get any point I can right here. Uh, you know, able to force the foul there and it's going to take another trip to the line. We'll see if we get some more scoring in the books here. Casey Martinez. Strong game from Casey, the senior. Another multiple sport athlete here at Ever High School and another really strong ambassador for the school. Great inside the classroom, outside the classroom, on the athletics field. Just all around great great kid. >> I believe she's on the uh student council as well. it it would make sense that doesn't fall but do

put back. Oh, just rims out. [cheering] And that's how this one is going to end. It's the Patriots of Ree with a sound victory in this one. 62-38 for the Crimson Tide. after a bit of a slow start went into halftime down. They had a really strong third quarter. They had cut it to nine. It was really looking like, hey, hold on a second. But then again, the Patriots finished off that third quarter on a run and then they just never looked back. So for the Patriots, they advance to 5-2 on the season while the Crimson Tide fall to 2 and four. But there's still plenty of life left to the season. It's all about the next game, so you got to have a short memory and and get back and rebound. Yeah, absolutely. And

congratulations to the Patriots. This was actually their highest scoring game of the season with the 62 points. Uh second to uh the second week in against Lynn English where they scored 52 points. So really great job there. And uh you know, great job to our entire crew. We had our director Anem Osmani. We had our stream technio. We had our video engineer. Who's our video engineer? The one and only Joe Camley. I got you, Joe. I got you. Don't worry about it. Replay Tech Bird Marshon. We had our camera operators, Pedro Enrique Dilva, Maria Helena Rangel, and the one, the only Tony Lelaw, and we had one more person. And who was that? Josh, taking photos for us today. Oh, that's right. Miguel Ventoriianis, who always does a terrific job, and he is our photographer

extraordinaire. So yes, that's the whole crew highlighted by none other than Justin and Lutherhan as the kids affectionately know him as. [laughter] But hey, it was a lot of fun bringing you the broadcast. We want to say uh we want to sign off. But again, thank you for always joining us here Crimson Tide TV. We're always looking forward to the action and uh we'll be back. We have uh we'll be doing the boys game uh this Thursday. So uh join us this Thursday as our boys will be hosting Medford.
