All right, good evening everyone and welcome to River Green Park for tonight's Greater Boston League matchup between the Lin English Bulldogs and your Everett Crimson Tide. Before our action begins, we will be honoring our seniors here tonight for the Crimson Tide led by head coach Rodney Landervery. Let's get into the senior festivities. Number four, defense Isaki Miranda Agugustino. [Applause] Number six, midfield, Anthony Sanchez. [Applause] Winger number 10, Gabriel Garcia. [Applause] right here. >> Defender number 11, Lucas Rebello Ariel. [Music] Defender number 13, Brian Soua. [Applause] Winger number 19, Karum Meitch. [Music] [Applause] and unable to be with us tonight. But a big part of this program, a leader, number 20, Daniel Pino. [Applause] Let's give it up one more time for all of our seniors here tonight for the Crimson Tide. [Applause] [Music] >> I'm
risking my I'd rather >> Thank you. Josh Delgazo here now in the booth set up nicely in my tent right outside the TV truck and we are just we are finished with our senior night festivities. Now we have a game to be played. There's a good look at head coach Rodney Landervery dawning the all black suit. There's a look at some of the friends and families that came out to support our seniors and of course our program tonight. This is a big game for the Crimson Tide as they look to continue their mission in getting to the tournament. They need just a couple more wins here to be tournament bound. And they have a big one looking for the season series sweep over the Lin English Bulldogs. Josh Delgazo bringing you the action. I'll be
flying solo on the broadcast, but not without a terrific crew that is joining me for a wonderful multi- camera production. And we are excited to get this thing underway. You could see overcast skies. We did have some rain earlier. Right now, at the moment, it is a little bit uh just a little mist, a little bit dry. We should be in good shape here. It is the fall, so sweatshirts are out as expected when you start embarking into the middle of October. There's a look at the Crimson Tide huddle. They'll be wearing their home all red uniform. And that's our athletic director, Miss Tammy Turner, talking to some of the cheerleaders who are also on here tonight. Very cool thing that happens here on senior night. The cheerleaders come out and they support the soccer
team. This was a terrific event last year. It was held at the stadium and it was a wonderful event. There's a look at our cameraman. That's Valentino Flores Million operating camera 1 which is actually on top of a storage container. But that's the best vantage point we have here in a bleacherless river green park. You see some scaffolding in the background. Our crew knows no limits and we're bringing some really cool action your way. That's one of our other cameramen. That's Vesselin Thorough. And what's really cool about these first two gentlemen that are you're seeing on camera, they are students here at Ever High School. Vesselin is a senior. Prior to him, that was Valentino. He is a junior. So, we are doing it with our students. Of course, mixed in with some of our
other freelancers as well. This is a total team effort. But, uh, really nice job from all of the crew making this happen, bringing everyone up to speed. So, we got a little bit of time here before action gets underway. This is slated for a 6:30 start. >> We had seven seniors introduced and we are really excited. That looks like one of our officials. [Applause] We do have a very small scoreboard from across the stadium. I'll do my best to keep eyes on that. I'll also just kind of track the time internally. So, if you're new to high school soccer, the way it works here in the MIAA, it is two 40minute halves. It's running time just like the pros do it. But the pros do 45, we do 40 minutes. Of course, if there's any
injury time or any just downtime on the field, they will add some extra time at the end of the first half and of course at the end of regulation. These games can end in a tie. So if it's tied up when extra time concludes in the second half, then you will have a tie to your sheet in the standings column. Crimson Tide enter this one at four, five, and four. So this is a big one. I believe they need three more wins to qualify for the tournament. They did already notch a win against Lin English out in Lynn earlier in the season. There's a good look at the Crimson Tide warming up. You also have goalposts on the field. This is uh this can be used as a football field as well. um some of
the local uh I don't know if it's the Pop Wana teams, but there are some outlets that use this. And um it's it's a really nice facility actually. It's it's pretty nice. Located just off of Air Force Road, kind of tucked away here in Everett, just behind the Maline English School. And of course, in the background, you will see the beautiful Encore Casino that casts a glow in the night sky. And >> there's the Lin English Bulldogs Bulldogs in their road white uniforms. The Bulldogs will be led by captains Alejandro Zas and Jose Lacardi. And the Bulldogs typically have a very strong program. And you know, the Tide will have to really earn it to get their second win against their fellow GBL rivals. We talked about it in the open for the Crimson Tide
led by head coach Rodney Landervery, assistant coaches Andreas Ruiz, Gabriel Moya, Sin Fagundes, and Edgar Ruiz. And very special guest, team mom, Mrs. Dennis, who unfortunately is unable to be with the team tonight. Mrs. Dennis is going to be held in their thoughts and prayers as she is a big part of this program and everyone keeping Mrs. Dennis in their thoughts and prayers. >> So, there's a look at our scoreboard on top of uh one of the desks. I think they took that right from the Maline English School. There may be a classroom missing a desk. We got one right over there. Those are the strings that Miss Turner pulls our athletic director. You need a scoreboard. We have a desk to showcase it just a few feet off the field. And that's me, Josh
Delgazo. And how about that? That's picture in picture and picture in picture. It can keep going. This thing never ends. It's just like the Pythagorean theorem. 3.14.555. I don't think there's any extra points there, but you get it. I'm not a math guy. History, facts, stats. It's what I do. Cool shot, though. Our crew busts out all the stops. This tent, courtesy of one Justin Han, affectionately known as Justinian, came out, busted out the old camping tent, which hadn't been used yet. He'll be glad to know and let the Varavithia know that this is working terrifically. So, I am here in the tent. Typically, I am on top of the storage container. And there's some of our crew right now. That's our engineer, Joe Camly, and that is Bird Marching. They are uh checking out
some of the latest equipment going into the their bag, so to speak, to see what what if they need any uh extra extra help for this this broadcast. But right now, we are rocking and rolling. It's a good good show as always, put on by our terrific crew who knows how to bring it. Yeah, plenty of time for these two teams to get warmed up after a brief little introduction of our seniors early on. Nice little ceremony held there. We had the uh we had the photographer here taking some some nice still photos with uh each of the family members of the uh seniors that were called. But as we do await the action, we ask you to stay tuned. We will be back as we get ready to start this game. Stay with us,
everybody. And we are just about ready to begin the Crimson Tide wearing their all red home jerseys. They will start with the game's opening possession. There's a good look at the Crimson Tides number three, Daniel Henriquez. The young sophomore looking to make his presence felt in from in front of what has turned into a pretty nicely packed crowd here. Standing room only or well that's all they have. But this is still again nice little environment here. There's a look at goalkeeper number 99 Edwin Menjavar Caribal. And there's a look at our very own Jonathan Goes. Or as he's affectionately known as, Sir Night Jonathan Goes. Feeling the knuckles. That's Gideon Lal. He's joined by some other characters here. They're having a good time. They're ready to roll. Love it. Okay, so yep, Crimson Tide ready
to go. Lyn English in their all-white uniform and the Crimson Tide will start things off. Here we go. again. Two 40inut running halves. Okay, I'll keep eyes as best I can across the field. >> Nice touch over by the sideline to Henriquez. Sent up the side and that's going to be a souvenir. although will have to be given back. They do keep extra soccer balls along the sideline so no delay in game takes place. There's a look at the Bulldogs number seven during the throw in header comes back. So Bulldogs possession sent up the field. [Music] >> Nice touch up the field. Good touch in the middle. Nice action right there. >> Looking to send it up for a Crimson Tide player, but makes its way out of bounds. The Bulldogs will throw it in.
Some confusion on that throw in and a missed kick right there. We'll give it back to the Crimson Tide throwing that in. Looks like that's number six, Anthony Sanchez, the senior. >> And we're going to get a whistle there. >> Looks like we have They foul on the play. >> No card. >> And right there, that's Jonathan Hernandez, another sophomore. So, the Crimson Tide with a young lineup. The future looking good for Coach Landie. And of course, done so with the pillar of seniors that have laid out the foundation. Our seven seniors honored here tonight. in what was a very nice pregame ceremony. Okay, here's one of the captains. That's number eight, Renee Lionus. >> Renee Jr. >> and the Bulldogs on the move. >> Out in front on side is number eight. Oh, great
defensive play by number six. That's Anthony Sanchez, the senior coming up with the big one. Right on target. Edwin Menjavar Caribal was able to handle that fast ball and he kicks that deep into the moonlit sky. >> Although the moon is covered by some clouds tonight if you can see it. Number 11 for the Bulldogs wheeling around in traffic. That is Jose Lacardi. He's one of the co- captains for Lin English. Over to number 22, Luis Anel Lopez. [Music] >> And that's going to go out of bounds. And the goalkeeper for the Bulldogs >> that looks like Alejandro Zas and he's the other captain. [Music] Nicely kept back into the English end. >> Played on by number 15 Jean Jean Brun. >> Nice pass but better defense there by Sanchez. Again, we've called his name
a few times. The senior showing out here. Nicely played off the chest of number 14, Eric Zapeda. >> And that's sent out of bounds. That's going to be a Oh no. Okay. Last touch by the Crimson Tide. I thought that was maybe going to be a Crimson Tide ball. You could see the fans lining the fence. [Music] Obviously, that can make it a little difficult to see the action up the sideline, >> but nice job with some of our side cameras giving you that shot. Great job. >> Bulldogs now controlling some possession. >> Getting a little bit dangerous in their own end, but once again maintaining possession. And now they're on the move. [Music] >> Oh, nice move right there trying to get some daylight. >> Touch pass give and go, but good defense there
by the Crimson Tide able to clear it out for the moment. Nice job by number 10 gaining some position. That was Gabriel Garcia. We heard Gabriel's name in the open. There's a centering shot looking for Garcia. Oh, good pass right there. Beautiful touch looking for Garcia out front, but Alejandro Zas with the denial in that. And who else? Anthony Sanchez all over it defensively, letting his Crimson Tide team reset a bit while English maintains its possession. [Music] Line ace >> looking for Renderos. [Music] >> Nice look at that one. Right into your living room. The goalkeeper Menjavar Cabraw, but the Bulldogs able to get it back. They're on the move again. Oh, wow. just over the crossbar for a second there. I thought that caught some netting, but uh over the crossbar off the back
of the chain link fence, so resulting in a goal kick for the Crimson Tide. That ball had eyes on it as it almost tucked in for a long range goal. Nice job played on by the Crimson Tides. >> I think it was number 22. Maybe I have the number wrong. I don't have a 22 on my roster. I'll check that again when I see it. Deep throwing just in front of us. >> Nicely played out. [Music] There's a look at our scoreboard as we're approaching the 32 and 12 minute mark. This game has just started 000. Crimson Tide in all red. Bulldogs in all white. Coming back into the picture was number three Daniel Henriquez. Oh, nice play right there. Clean. Good slide tackle. [Music] >> Oh, here we go. Some space there. Getting back
into the picture. Nicely done by Lin English defense number 22, Luis Angel Lopez. It was between Angel Lopez and Gabriel Garcia >> for the sprint on what would have been potential breakaway for the Tide. Tide still working in tight quarters there, but the Bulldogs look like they're going to come up. Oh no, back to Renee Line. Sends it back. That's number five, Benjamin Lopez. Palasios, but the Bulldogs have it and now they're on the move. Tide need to get back defensively [Music] >> just in front of the Crimson Tide bench. >> Back and forth early on here. Bulldogs maybe controlling a little bit more of the possession in these last few minutes. >> Tied with a good scoring chance early, but then of course you saw the Bulldogs put one over the crossbar. So pretty
even here in what has been just about the first 10 minutes played of this first half. Nice move right there. Crimson Tide moving. We're gonna have a player down that looks like number 10 for the Crimson Tide and that is Gabriel Garcia. >> There's a look at some of the Crimson Tide players on the bench looking on. >> That's Isaki Miranda Agugustino number four looking on again. One of the seniors that was honored here. Oh, what a kick right there, but unable to find any red. That goes out of play. So, goal kick up coming for the Bulldogs. >> Here's a good look at Alejandro Zas. >> Nicely done. And I was correct. That is a number 22 jersey. At halftime, I will look to get the name of number 22. I do not have
one on my roster. Maybe jersey numbers have changed, but uh we we'll get that taken care of once we have a break in the action. It will likely be at halftime. But 22 playing well so far for the Crimson Tide. There's some of the protective netting that wraps around the last quarter of each field. So from like the 20 yard line in, you see some protective netting just because it does kind of venture into the great outdoors here. Everett does have some outdoor woods. They're located right here at River Green. That's about it. I mean, the city otherwise is pretty uh pretty much a city, but you got some woods here. Little woodsy that goes out of play. So Bulldogs will kick it out. [Music] Oh my god. >> We are at about the 28
minute mark left in this first half. >> 0 0 if you're just joining us. >> One shot on goal for each team. Back and forth action. Nice move by number 14, Eric Zaba. >> Leaves it back for number 15. That's Jean Jabbrron. Jabbrron going up the Crimson Tide sideline. Bulldogs doing a nice job with possession early on here. Tide with some numbers. Sends it out deep. Oh, that's a big interception right there. Leaves it out for Garcia, but they're going to call him off sides. Oh, man. That's very close. Very close. That looked like a nice dish leading him ahead, but Garcia deemed offside as that uh had goalcoring opportunity written all over it. There's a good look at Garcia who has made his presence felt early on in this game. >> Let's take a
look at it here. >> Yeah, it's close. It always is close as as as the rule is. Offsides, it's simply before the ball has been passed. You cannot be past the last line of defense for the opposing team. >> It's always close when you come down to an offsides call, >> but good run at it nonetheless by the Crimson Tide. So, Bulldogs will take the free kick. Nice job by our replay crew and our crew bringing you the action. >> Nicely played on by number five, Benjamin Lopez Palasios. Now it's Lion looking for Henriquez over in front of the sideline. Henriquez now is going to just leave it out. But Lion Ace does a good job getting back into play, putting some pressure on the Bulldogs. And the Tide will take it, sending it up
the field. Nicely played on by English's number 11, Jose Lardi. Lardi now looking for a deep runner. That is number seven Woodson Pierre. Tide have to get back. They do a nice job getting back but not out of danger just yet. Lardi now we saw his shot early on that went over the crossbar. That was off the foot of Lardi but now the Tide coming back in transition. That's a good look. Oh, unable to get there. It's going to be Crimson Tide throw in as Jean Brun was able to knock it out of bounds. Good setup right there. Able to answer with a little transition of their own. >> 25 minutes left here in this first half. Z >> very evenly played >> beginning to this game. Nice defense by Henriquez. >> Oh, it's a
ricochet. Oh, wow. >> Oh, man. That was just a simple little volley on the net, but it hit one of the English defenders getting back and went in the other direction. Thankfully for Alejandro Zas and the English Bulldogs, that ball had eyes for out of bounds. Here's a look at it here. So, Henriquez is going to send it up the field. You're going to watch it catch off of the chest of the last line of defense before Zas comes sprinting into the picture and corner kick upcoming. Here's a scoring chance. Ooh, good look at it off the left foot of number two Kevin Renderos. Garcia has it working deep in the English end. >> Zas wisely picks it up. [Music] Zas with a big boot that was sent deep. [Music] >> Oh, nice move right
there. Oh, what a save. Menjivar Carib off of a beautiful move. Good handling there by Lucas Hercules. [Music] >> Yeah, number 14 for the Bulldogs with a really nice scoring opportunity. That was Zapeda. But a great save by Edwin Menjavar Carabal. Nice look out front. Oh, that's a beautiful pass. Here's Garcia. Oh no, they're calling him offside. Oh, you won't see a better pass >> from the player that I need the name to his number. Number 22, who's had a very active first half. He remains nameless, but we will find it out. What a beautiful pass. He had his sewing kit out. He threaded the needle. He's making sweaters here. It's cold out. He dropped that right in front. Oh man, offside. That's a tough one. [Music] [Applause] Sanchez working up the sideline, >> but
the Bulldogs send it back out. [Music] >> Renderos [Music] Throw >> in coming from Hercules >> looking for his teammates. Some strategy here. Quickly finds it over to number two. Renderos sent deep to the far side. Good job by Henriquez battling for position, but that's going to be last touched by Henriquez. We'll have a throwin coming up for the Bulldogs. Number 19, Leonardo Zbrano, freshman. >> So, some good action really picking up here in this first half. We're about halfway through the first half. Little over 20 minutes remaining. >> 0 0 Nicely >> sent out by the Tide. >> Nice pass right there, but better defense right there. Bulldogs able to nullify that >> rush by the Tide, but Hercules will get the throw in. >> And we have a timeout called on the field.
And that timeout will take place with 20 minutes and 41 seconds remaining in this first half. We are scoreless at zero. Well, I guess if you're scoreless, it would be zero. Sometimes I say things and then I catch them. That's why I'm here for you. Oh, how about that little split screen? Love it. Beautiful red turf in the background. Look at that red turf. It's amazing. But you can see coach Landervery on the left >> and on the right that is head coach Valdrim Zamal for the Bulldogs going over some strategy with his team complete nightfall here. This was a 6:30 start. Senior festivities took place around 6:05, maybe 10 past 6. >> And then the two teams warmed up, getting themselves ready for game time. Land Verie now getting his team to bring it
up >> and finish off this last half of the first half trying to get one. And how about the graphic in the background? Got some stars there. You would see them tonight if it wasn't so overcast, but our graphic will bring you some stars. And you know what else is in the that graphic? It's a little bit at the top. There were stands. There were some bleachers stadium seating. >> We're working on it. We're working on it. My crew is still bringing you the moving pictures with no problem. We're working on it. >> But this is a really nice facility. I am a big fan of River Green Park. >> There's a good look at the student section to your bottom right. And there's fans dotting along the fence throughout this park. Okay, so back
in play. Crimson Tide throwin. Bulldogs looking to clear it out and that it will stay with the tide as Hercules will try it a little bit deeper along the Lin English bench. He's going to leave it for someone else. He's like, "You know what? I'm going to set up shop here. Your turn." Number seven, Jonathan Hernandez. Good positioning. That's Garcia. >> Played along nicely. >> See if that was a 16 or an 18. another really nice drop by 22. [Music] >> And I really have applauded early on the officiating letting them play as they should. Those are clean plays. Good job by the officiating. Maybe a couple questionable offsides calls. Let me just tell you something. They can always be questionable. It's like the number one argumentative topic in soccer is an offsides call. Otherwise,
the officials have done a pretty good job of not being noticed here in what is what feels like a pretty fastm moving first half. I mean, it's running time, but like sometimes time moves and it doesn't, right? The time tells the story. >> Nicely played on by number nine. He had the spin cycle. >> Number nine for Leninguish. That's Jesse Adeco, sophomore. And the Crimson Tide goalkeeper Edwin Menjavar Carabal. [Music] >> So, while action has been very even by my count, >> we have about >> I think it's three shots on goal for the Bulldogs. with two for the Crimson Tide. >> There's been some other good opportunities that have just been wider the net, but of course to warrant a shot on goal, the goalkeeper must get the body on it, right? Okay. Nice
defense right there. Really nice job by Lace. Much to the chagrin of the English side, but once again, the crowd doesn't like it. Another offside call. >> And amazingly enough, an offside call that was never agreed on to the team that the call was made against by its fan base, if you can believe it. So, the Bulldogs will take possession on the free kick. As I look through the bodies on the fence, it looks like we have uh we're approaching the 11 and 12 minute mark in this first half. Good boot to that one. [Music] >> Nice touch. [Music] >> Oh, and he put the brakes on it right there. Nice look right in front of you. That's number 18 with a good centering pass. Simon Coro. Oh, but Zas quickly pounces on it. Another
good opportunity by the Crimson Tide. >> Oh, check this out. Nice centering pass. Beautiful walk and actually what had happened, what had happened was number six of Lynn English almost had known goal. It was off his foot. Zas was able to he was right there. There was a Crimson Tide player awaiting that pass. But that's what happens. You make a centering pass in traffic, you never know who it's going to hit. You create that redirection. They all go on the score sheet the same way. So there's a good look at number 22, Luis Angel Lopez, the senior, getting ready for the referee's whistle to throw it in. and his teammate will take the throw in instead >> Jean Brun and the Bulldogs now trying to get it up the field. >> Woodson Pierre, good defense
right there by the Crimson Tide. Oh, nice move. That's Coleo as the crowd comes to its feet. >> And Whitney Cambria Pereira had it for a moment. >> Bulldogs now trying to get something going, but defense of the Tide rises. This is Coleo. Oh, good defense right there. Jean Brun now looking for some help. That was nicely played off the foot of number five Lopez Palasios. [Music] This is Cambria Pereira. >> Bulldog starting to threaten here. That goes out of play. >> Looks like coach Rob Dorettto in the red jacket handling that kick to the far end of the field. And I can see next to our athletic director Tammy Turner. There's a good look at coach Doredto and athletic director Miss Turner. Tammy Turner. Nice job by our crew. I speak, they capture. It's
seamless. We do big things here. Goal kick deep >> going to center field. >> Nice play right there. Touched on trying to get it out front and that nice play to keep it in. Oh, didd he just out of the fence. That's our trainer. Nice job climbing the ladder there. Get a quick look at the score. uh the the the time rather 0. [Music] Okay, Sanchez [Music] unable to connect but Sanchez gets it right back. Centers it over to line ace. Scans the field. sends it back. >> Oh, what a move. Crowd likes that one. And he's trying to give the crowd a souvenir as he sent it to the far side of the field. That move courtesy of number seven, Jonathan Hernandez. There's a good look at Jean Jean Brun, the senior for the
Bulldogs. He's had a very active first half. 12 minutes 40 seconds in running here in the first half. Bulldogs threatening. Here's a look at that replay. Oh, there it is. Just pulled the old carpet from underneath you, right? That was a nice move. Nice job. >> Okay, here we go. Uh, we're going to have a foul called there. So, the Bulldogs will take the free kick just inside midfield. [Music] Jose Lacardi. He's going to put a boot into this one. This is deep. Micardi sends it. Played along off the head of Sanchez. Render Rose providing some defense trying to cut down the angle. Oh, that's set on net. Nice job. Nice save by Menjavar Caraval. [Music] >> Yep. And uh that was right off the uh took that off the face. Renderos took it like
a champ. Jean Brun will throw it in for the Bulldogs. [Music] >> And that is going to be a throwin violation. So, it's going to go right back to the Crimson Tie >> just in front of us. Sanchez will handle the throwing. >> Looking for Garcia. We can see that Garcia is one of the key scorers for the Crimson Tide as he has been involved in every scoring chance headlining the attack. [Music] And >> you can see all the action here >> and our production. >> Got the truck down here at River Green. [Music] >> So Zas now will take the goal kick for the Bulldogs >> as we have less than 10 minutes remaining here in the first half. two soft. >> That's a deep Going [Music] to call that right there. So, it's
going to be English throw in or free kick rather. Actually, no, it's a throw in. We're going to just call it out of bounds. Let's see it. Got a little bit. I mean, you haven't had too much of that tonight. Good defense nonetheless. I like it from Sanchez. Yeah, it's going to be a free kick. That was a foul call. We have a Crimson Tide player just walking off on their own power. A little slowly on the opposite side of the field right near midfield. Looks like number 11, Lucas Rallo Ariel. another one of our seniors on it here tonight. So now you can see the Crimson Tide trying to set up defensively, trying to create a little bit of a wall here, a mini wall if you will, trying to cut down the angle
that number 14 Eric Sepeda will have at the net. You can see the goalkeeper in the background kind of telling his teammates where to line up, what he needs for a vantage point, and what he needs so he can see. You don't want to screen his vision. >> Oh, that is kick. Look at that curve. But that is kicked too deep into the protective netting. Goal kick coming up for the Crimson Tide. >> Yeah, check this out. >> Almost tucked it into the upright. That's a good kick. Just a little too much on it, but always impressed with some of the uh the carry these kids can make with their kicks. >> It's pretty impressive. And we have a whistle there. >> Were we not ready? Were there substitutions? I'm not sure what the whistle.
Okay, looks like we'll ret try that. 7 minutes and 55 seconds remaining in this first half. 0. >> It's senior night here at Everett, so Tide looking for a big one and also trying to make their way closer to qualifying for the state tournament. They come into this game at 45 and four. Coming off a hard-nosed loss, a tough loss against BC High, a very good team the other day, played them tough. [Music] >> Working its way through traffic, but the Tide will get it. And here we go. Tide trying to put something together here. [Music] Oh, okay. All right. We got a little bit of uh the official nicely stepping in. And the foul was against the Crimson Tide. So, the Bulldogs will have a pretty good opportunity here. So, you can see as
they battle for the ball there, number 15 of the Crimson Tide, Miguel Santos deemed a little too aggressive. And that is kicked over the net into the goal post or through the uprights rather. >> So nice job by the tide avoiding anything there. Good kick by Zbrano. Bulldogs definitely kind of carrying play the last few minutes. Let's see if the Titan gets something going. try to get an opportunity on on the attack. >> Bulldogs have carried time of possession quite a bit in this first half. [Music] [Applause] And the Tide now will get a free kick coming off of the Lin English foul against Anthony Sanchez getting a Crimson Tide chanting that you're unable to do that basically. [Music] >> So let's take a look at it there. Yeah, a little bit of extra on
the leg. Nothing too egregious. Good. Good uh non-card, just a foul call. >> Again, I've had no problems with the officials here in this first half. >> All right, Sanchez now takes it. Trying to drive it deep into the English end, >> but unable to keep possession. Now it's Lardi and the Bulldogs looking to get something going. We are less than five minutes remaining here in the first half and of course we'll see what we have for any additional injury time. By my count there wasn't too much uh downtime if any. But uh we'll have to wait and see where that plays. And the Tide will have another free kick. Foul called right there on number nine Jesse Adeco. >> You can see number 15 Jason Santos sending that deep. All right. So, that's out
of bounds. [Music] This is the freshman Zambrano waiting for the throw in. Permission granted. Nice move right there by Renderos. Sends it off to the other side of the field, >> but good defense by the Bulldogs. Able to read and intercept the pass. And we're going to have a foul coming up there. And you can see in the background as we approach the three minute mark in a scoreless game. >> Oh my goodness. Oh, here we go. >> Oh, it's out in front. Oh, man. The Tide. Big chance right there. Bulldogs able to escape, but that was dicey. >> Tide still putting the pressure on Lace. Drops it off to Pereira. [Music] Oh, >> nice move >> out in front. Oh, nice job by Zas. Able to cut it down from his knees. >> And
we are approaching the twominute mark in this first half. Action starting to pick up for the Tide. Really starting to threaten. Take a look at this. number 22 and then just right into the midsection of Zas. Renderos now trying to keep it up for the Crimson Tide attack as they're starting to gain some momentum as the last couple minutes tick down in this first half right in front of the English bench that's kept in play. [Music] [Applause] Wow. Yeah, tough one right there. All right. Again, >> it's going to happen sometimes. >> Haven't noticed too much of it. Seems like it's been pretty pretty uh well officiated. So, free kick coming up for Luis Angel Lopez. Sends that deep. Trying to put some pressure on the Tai defense who does a nice job getting that
out. Renderos now. [Music] Good run on it. And here we go. This is number 19. That's Kum Me. Oh, nice move. Oh, okay. So, I Yeah, you know what? I didn't like that one. I didn't like that one. I thought he did a really nice job using his body body creating the space. Mech who was able to corral the long pass and the Tide had numbers. The senior I thought really played it very well utilizing his body creating some space with the 360 move but the official thought otherwise and that's all that matters. Let's take a look at it here. So Meich is going to drop it down. Okay. Gets it back. Makes a move. Puts it back. Yeah. I mean I I I I didn't see anything that warranted that on the replay. And
just like that, as I suspected, there really wasn't any injury time. And that is how the first half will end. We are scoreless in this first half. Excellent job by our crew bringing the action and both teams really playing a pretty even first half. I guess the score would tell you that. So stay with us folks as we go into halftime. We'll be back with more action in a scoreless game here on senior night. Everett Crimson Tide zero, Lynn English zero. I'm Josh Delgazo. Stay tuned for the second half. No, I >> are just about ready to begin the second half after a scoreless first half. There's a look at the Lin English Bulldogs. And there's your Ever Crimson Tide. And it was that player right there, number 10, Gabriel Garcia, who while no goals
to his name or in the game, was all over the offensive attack for the Crimson Tide doing a really good job putting the pressure on goalkeeper Alejandro Zas. You could see coach Landie and coach Edgar Ruiz going over some strategy. Head coach Landie knows how big this game is. and Edgar who was a great player in his own right. Both of them great players. Edgar was a year older than myself in high school. The proud class of 2002 and Lander Vvery more recent from his playing days with the Crimson Tide. Also starred here and now in his second season as the head coach at his alma mada. So the Bulldogs will have possession first. We do have some information for you. While I was unable to give you number 22's name in the first half
for the Crimson Tide. It is Miguel Santos and he had a big first half. So Miguel Santos wearing number 22 for the Crimson Tide. >> He's in the program as number 15. So perhaps there was a jersey swap at some point, but number 22 is Santos. >> Okay, so here we go. Bulldogs throwing it in. Jos Lacardi puts his foot into it. Tied. Nice job by Lion Ace. >> So, we had basically no injury time in that first half. In fact, none at all. When zeros were across the board, the first half ended. So, it was basically 40 minutes of straight up action that moved. Both teams really playing fast, moving, and we'll see how this breaks. That's going to go out of bounds. Here's a good look at it. >> Throwing that in is
number seven, Woodson Pierre. Although he's going to leave it for his teammate, >> Jean Jean Brun. Nice pressure by Henriquez. >> Nicely done getting it out is Jason Santos. >> Render Rose putting some good speed and dribbling on the ball. Leaves it for Henriquez. Henriquez with his eyes up >> now. Looking for Garcia out in front. Garcia is on side waiting for the rest of his team. Works himself deeper into the play. Ground ball fielded by Zas. >> Garcia really can put some pressure and do it quickly. >> Sanchez will let that go out of bounds for a Crimson Tide throw in. >> Check out Garcia. >> A little hesitation and then tries to just put one quickly on net. >> Zas able to handle it. And >> that's our very own Kimberly FTH handling
the errand ball off the fence. >> Kim FTH, one of the trainers for the Crimson Tide. >> And right in front of the Bulldog bench is the throwin for the Bulldogs. So, it felt like to me the Bulldogs may have had a little bit more time of possession in the first half, but the Tide I think won the scoring chances, if you will. Again, ultimately nothing netted a goal, but the Tide did have some really close opportunities where they put some heat on that. Right there is a nice look at Jonathan Hernandez looking for Garcia. >> And that's played back. [Music] >> Nice foot right there by Hernandez. Nice job by Garcia out in front. Garcia. Oh, he almost had it. Oh man, >> that's some heat on that one. Just ran out of some
real estate. >> Pressure starting to mount for the tide. They're starting to rise a little bit here. Check this out. Garcia getting past the defense >> puts one with some hair on it just wide of the net. But that's a really good scoring chance. That's something if you're coach Landerie, you have no problem seeing that because you know that one of these times that's going to find the back of the net. So really good job by Garcia and the Crimson Tide of starting to put some pressure on the Bulldogs defense. Great play defensively by Henriquez. >> Oh my god. [Music] >> Bulldogs working along the sideline now trying to center it out. >> Nice job by Renderos. Both teams trading possessions right now. >> Henriquez giving chase. That's going to go out of bounds. Bulldog
possession. [Music] Oh, that's kicked on. Oh, man. >> Well, doesn't count going into that net. That's the field hockey net. >> Good pressure and opportunity by the Bulldogs. And they are still in the scoring strike zone as a corner kick usually nets some very good opportunities. And it's going to be Jose Lardi trying it from the deep corner. >> Lucardi puts his right foot into this. Good look at it. >> The header goes out of play. So Crimson Tide with the goal kick. That's big. [Music] Nice positioning by menar. >> Check this out. Look at the replay on the corner kick right there. And you can see how close this came as the header just went over the crossbar. But that that really gets yourself into some tough defending territory when it's that close. >>
Lardi leaves it out front. >> Back to Lardi. >> Nice pass right there. Good defense by Miguel Santos. Oh, nice pass. The good run Mech. And offside is the call. So, the Bulldogs will have it. Let's see if you can get a look at it here. >> Get a nice pass. Garcia out front. Yeah, you really can't. That one by by rule, he was offside. I don't I don't blame EMTT. You're trying to make a good run at it. It's a tough thing to do when you know you're just trying to get a scoring opportunity and you get past the last line of defense. But good job by our crew. You could see that one really didn't warrant too much of an argument. Out of bounds. That's going to stay with the Crimson Tide. >>
Let's see who will take. Looks like Sanchez is going to take it. Some battling for position there between Henriquez and Pierre. Throw in goes. Played on. This is Render Rose. Back to Henriquez. Tide resetting. Nice move by Sanchez. Better move by Henriquez trying to center it. >> That's going to be out of play, but that should be a corner kick coming up. And it is. So, the Tide now with a pretty good opportunity to get the game's first score on the board. And this is going to be number two. Kevin Renderos, the junior, will put his left foot into this corner opportunity. >> Lofted deep. Played along. Zas does not have it. And we are going to stay in the corner. The Tide will have another chance. >> This is big for the Tide. I
really liked the entry by Renderos. Just a nice little touch. Let's see if he can replicate that again here. >> Out in front. Oh, the Bulldogs. >> One of the defenders got their head on it. That was big. They needed that. Tai can still control possession here. Just a little bit of a reset. Henriquez battling Lacardi off the knee of Henriquez. So now the Bulldogs will get a goal kick. And getting possession back was big for Lin English there as the Tide were really starting to mount some serious pressure. And we are just under the 30 minute mark remaining here in the second half in what has been a scoreless game. walking the sideline taking it up. That's Pierre. >> A correction. That was Jean Brun. Lion Ace trying to get it across, but the
Bulldogs will take it. Oh, nice job by Lion Ace. And that's going to be a hand ball as Renee as he tried to kick it back with his left foot, it just caught his right hand. incidental, but free kick nonetheless for the Bulldogs. Tide will have to get back and reset defensively here. >> Lucardi seems to handle the majority of the free kicks for the Bulldogs. >> Already puts a deep kick into that one. And that's going to go just a little too deep out of play. And now the Crimson Tide will have it. Nice job by Lopez Palasios. >> Renderos Hercules. Correction. Hernandez. Lopez. Palasios sends it deep looking for Garcia. Nice pass out front. Oh, Zas does a good job coming out of his net. Tides still have it. Garcia >> chasing after
it, but that was knocked away by number eight Jamal David. >> Oh, here we go. This is Miguel Santos looking for some action. Oh, nice pass out front. Santos. Oh, Zas with a big save. Beautiful drop and touch by Santos looking for Garcia, but Zas was the first one in on it. Big play by Zas. He's a little slow getting up. Check this out. Watch this beautiful touch coming up by Santos out in front to Garcia. It was onside, but Zas making the better of the play, sacrificing his body, able to knock that away. And that was a big time save by the captain, Alejandro Zas. Little shaken up was Zas. >> Appears to be okay. >> Out front. Henriquez. >> Nicely done for Garcia. You can see the speed always on full display for
Gabriel Garcia. [Music] >> Ty looking for a corner kick and it is a corner kick. That's what I thought as well. But there seemed to be some confusion as Leninglish was heading down the other end of the field. Corner kick up coming and looks like it's going to be handled by number 17. >> Kimbra Pereira, >> Whitney Kimbra Pereira. >> That's dropped out front looking for Santos. Oh man, good look finding the head of Miguel Santos but just wide of the net. Still going to stay with the tide. And we have another corner kick. This time tied go with the quick. Let's just reset and bring it in. It does not appear to work out. >> The Bulldogs now on the move. Tidy going to have to get back defensively as the Bulldogs now try
to get some transition going, but unable to corral that pass much to the delight of the Crimson Tide faithful. That'll be Crimson Tide Ball. >> We're at about the 26 minute mark in this second half. Okay, officials mistake >> and now the officials just trying to reset a little bit. So mistakenly gave the throw into win English then corrected. It's going to be Crimson Tide throwin handled by Jonathan Hernandez. [Applause] And that's going to be a foul called on number 14, Eric Zaba. So the Tide will have a free kick. Let's see if they can get something going here. Trying to set up in the English end. >> So handling that was Jason Santos looking deep for Henriquez. Let's take a look at this. And it may have been on the maybe the right arm
of Zapeda just kind of flipping it up a little bit there. Drawing the foul. >> Crimson Tide now trying to intercept the English throw in. >> Nice job by Kimbra Pereira. >> Now it's Henriquez. Tide now working in their own end. Got to be careful here. >> Bulldogs starting to make >> some plays defensively turning it into offense. >> Lionz sends it off an English player. But again back with the Bulldogs now. Both teams trading possessions. Henriquez with room to run, waiting for some red jerseys to join the action. Renderos tries to get around. That is going to ricochet over to Santos. Well, that was a good defensive play. You get ball first, that's what warrants the good play. >> Nice job by Lion getting back into the picture. Another excellent defensive play. That was
really picturesque by the book by Lopez Palasios. >> And after all that English sending it back to the Tide. [Applause] Lacardi. >> Bulldogs trying to make something happen here. Both teams just kind of sending it back and forth. >> Nice touch there by Garcia, but unable to land in the possession of a Crimson Tide player >> working along the side. And that's going to be a foul right there by number five. Or it may have been out of bounds. Let's see. It might have been just off Lopez Palasios, which if it was, it would be a corner kick. [Music] So, we got some action happening here in the deep corner. >> All right. This is This is a PA that's going to be out of play. So the Crimson Tide will get it back. No
harm done there with that foul. And we are approaching at the 21 minute mark remaining here in the second half. Edwin Menjavar Gabal. The junior doing a great job and net puts his right foot into this one. Goes deep and finds Garcia. Garcia trying to corral it. Leaves it out front. Nice pass by Garcia, >> but better defense by the Bulldogs. [Music] >> Good job there by Lucas Mabello Ariel. >> Renderos. [Applause] Nice touch out front. Back to Renderos. >> Crowd doesn't like it, but pretty good defensive play right there. It stays with the Crimson Tide on the throw in since it was kicked out of bounds by Lin English. >> Throw in deep middle. Oh, that's where you want to put it. White jerseys were first on it by English. >> Tell you what,
this is going to be a big free kick coming up. >> Foul called on Lardi and the Tide with probably their deepest free kick of the evening. They they could potentially put this on net. They are within range. You'll see English right now try to scrap together a quick wall again under the direction of their goalkeeper Zas just to ensure that he can actually see the path of the ball putting his players in the right spot. The officials will give a little bit of time but not too much time. We're in play. This is Gabriel Garcia. This could be the first one of the night. Let's see if Garcia goes for it. Here we go. Garcia hits it. Oh, just played on nicely by Zas. able to handle that. [Music] [Applause] [Music] >> So, Tide
looking to try to get something going. >> Nice defense there by Cumbria Pereira. [Music] Oh, Lardi. Oh, nice save. Got to get it out. What a save. Still not out of trouble just yet. But Edwin Menjava Caribal with the save of the evening to this point. That was big. And now the Tide trying to get something going. Nice defense to him. That was Leonardo Zbrano with the big defensive play by the Bulldogs to keep that long pass from going the other way for the Crimson Tide. >> But what a save by Menjavar. That was big time. He had to come far out of the net to get action on that. >> Check it out right here as he corrals the Aaron shot. sends it deep into the night and then it was still anyone's ball
at that point. But nice job by Whitney Kimbra Pereira to clear it out after that. We're going to have a foul upcoming by Sanchez. >> So Mardi [Music] Mccardi sets it deep >> and we have offsides against English. So it'll be tied ball. Let's >> take a look at the time. Looks like we are under 18 minutes remaining. Yeah, actually, yeah, we're in the 17minute mark here of this scoreless game, the second half. This is Garcia, and that's who you want to see if you're the Crimson Tide. Garcia quickly puts his jets on it. Wastes no time. Very, very dangerous. Working deep in the corner. Good defense right there by number 22. That's Angel Lopez. That'll stay with the Crimson Tide, but it was kicked just in front of the corner. That That looks like
that's going to be a throw in. It is. >> Unable to get the throw through. >> Oh, but Santos with the big interception. >> Nice job by Sanchez. throwing >> played along. Okay, this is Renderos. Goes after it. [Music] >> Oh, and that's going to be a goal kick. Okay, so goal kick coming up for the Bulldogs. tied. Getting close there. [Music] [Applause] Angel Lopez sends it deep >> looking for Zapeda. >> And take a look at this, right? Renderos if it just could have caramemed off his foot. Just not as wide. That could have been uh that could have been dangerous. Nice job, Anthony Sanchez continuing to have a really strong game for the Crimson Tide. [Music] Okay, here come the Bulldogs deep into the crimson tight end and the Bulldogs find the back
of the net for the game's first goal and that is number 14 Eric Zapeda with an absolute rifle shot. [Music] >> Wow, that was a big time goal right there. the >> and actually I'm sorry it was the freshman that was Leonado Zimbrano number 19 putting an absolute strike into the back of the net and the game's first goal sees Lin English on top one nothing as we approach the 14minute mark left in the second half that was big time what a future for that young freshman Leonardo Zbrano. >> The Tide now are going to have to open up their attack >> just to try to get one back here. >> Time not on their side. There's enough time to operate, but it is winding down. >> It's worth mentioning this is another half where
there has been basically no injury time at all. So, you're going to basically play out the string till you see zeros. I wouldn't expect too much in the additional time category, if any. We had none in the first half, and I haven't seen anything to warrant that difference here in the second half. Quarter kickup. Here we go. Tide looking to answer. Garcia sends it back over to Jason Santos. And much to the crowd's dismay and surprises myself as well, there was a whistle there. I am not entirely sure what that was, but uh nonetheless, English ball. Good good attempt on the corner finding Garcia. Able to high pointed at the top, but apparently there was maybe a clear out foul, I suppose. I know what you're thinking. [Music] >> Unable to be kept in play.
>> Stay with English >> as they approach midfield on this throw. >> Nice defense by Santos. And now it's Renderos. >> And a little extra physicality there. We'll give it back to the Crimson Tide >> as the Ever crowd right on it. >> Foul picked up by Woodson Pierre. [Music] >> Jason Santos sends it deep. [Music] Uhoh. Got to get on that. Got to get on it. Oh no. Oh, that's bad. Oh man. A miscommunication results in the Bulldogs second goal of the evening in just a few minutes span right after they scored the first. Jean Jean Brun, the senior, able to have one of the easiest goals I would imagine of his career, a wide open net. Check it out. Watch this. Looks like a mis miscommunication. And Jean Brun will happily take a
wide open net. And the Bulldogs now [Music] seizing the moment with a commanding 200 lead. And that's tough for the Crimson Tide right there. You can see 10 minutes 43 seconds left on the clock. Timeout is going to be called. 10:42 remaining. Bulldogs on top by two. Two nothing. And a wise timeout called, but some things are going to have to really pick up for the Tide to make up this deficit. If nothing else, they want to try to get two back and try to at least escape with the draw, which will earn you the point. Otherwise, this is uh this is going to be a tough one here. But you got to credit the Bulldogs. They've been outstanding here tonight. Both teams, this has been a very evenly played game. But the Bulldogs now
scoring two in the last couple minutes to go on top. I see coach Landervery on the left side of your screen going over some last minute instructions with his team. We're in the uh the waning moments here, >> but really strong game overall. So, you can see the goal scored by the Bulldogs. It was the freshman Leonardo Zambbrano and then it was the senior number 15 Jean John Brun >> and they were they were scored just within a few minutes of each other >> very close together. >> So we'll see how the tie responds after this timeout. Imagine you'll see the Bulldogs now really trying to camp down in a just defensive shell. See how they they play it with their strategy there. The Tide are going to have to try to create some some
chances here. >> See what they can do. >> So, here we go. We're back after the timeout. So Garcia now with the free kick. [Music] >> Nicely played on. Let's see. This is Oh, given chase. That's going to be Crimson Tide ball. That >> ball went deep into the pipe. That might be over at the dog bar. We got a corner kick coming up. >> Jonathan Hernandez will try it. This is one way to get right back in. Let's see if they can get something going with this key corner >> deep in front. >> Good bid. >> Unfortunately, not the result you need. We are coming up with nine and a half minutes remaining here in the second half. >> Two nothing English. >> And that's going to go out of bounds. There's a good
look at our crowd that's on hand here tonight. You can see it just completely lining the fence from pretty much as much as you can see in that shot. It's a really nice job of the fans filing it in tonight. Oh, a great chance by Garcia. Absolute heat on that one. But Zas likes the heat. Able to come up with the big save. Nice game from Alejandro Zas here tonight for the Bulldogs. He's been pretty terrific in that. >> Good defense by Jason Santos coming up with the steal over to Hernandez working just in front of us. Oh, does it get through? It does. Centering pass. Oh, but better defense again. Bulldogs really providing to come up with those the spots where you need it. And that's on side. Here comes a breakaway. Number 10
corrals it back. Great defense there by number five. That is Benjamin Lopez Palasios off of the speed breakaway attempt from number 10 Matthew Pole. >> And it was really Lopez Palasios's defense that's able to get that back to the Crimson Tide. >> So now we are under the 8minute mark. Time ticking down for the Crimson Tide. >> Oh, that's out front. >> Garcia. Can he put it on? Oh, it's through. It's through. Gabriel Garcia finds the back of the net. Left foot shot. Zas appeared to make the initial save, but the rebound gets behind him. and Gabriel Garcia with an absolute huge one. Wow. Cut this thing in half. Okay, don't go anywhere, folks. We're still rocking here at River Green. Approach the sevenminute mark. Hold on to your hats. It all starts off the
right foot of Menjavar Carabal. Sends it deep and then it gets going. Check out that pass. That was by Koleo out front to Garcia. And here it is. Watch Garcia left foot strike. Oh, there it is. Actually, he really never got he got maybe just a little bit on it, but it beat him. It beat him into the back of the net. Garcia finally gets one. Tied down by one. Two to one. Crowd is alive right now. Six and a half minutes remaining. >> Can the Tide tie this up? Let's see. Again, at this point, you take whatever you can get. Get that draw. A draw is better than a loss. You got some words to the official from the official. [Music] >> Throw in by Miguel Santos. And we are going to have a
throwin violation. That's always tough to see. You hate to give away those possessions that that you've earned. Okay, Tide will have to get it back defensively. Check us out. >> Yeah, actually really well done. >> His back, the back of his, you know, the rib cage slowed it down a little bit, but it it was destined for the back of the net. Really nice job. >> That's kicked deep. [Music] >> Crowd looking for that one. [Music] and >> there's the throw in. >> Good job by the Crimson Tide settling it down. Hernandez, Santos, [Applause] Garcia. The crowd loves it when Garcia gets a foot on it. Why not? Pretty explosive. And here it comes. Garcia looking for some help. Oh, good defense there by the Bulldogs. They needed that. That's deep. Renderos. Nice move. Renderos
sends it up the field. Garcia going after it. And that's going to be Crimson Tide ball. That pressure of Garcia creates the Bulldogs to act quickly and get that out of bounds. That's going to be just shy of a corner kick. We're going to get a throw in. Still deep territory for the Tide. Not a bad place to be. Jonathan Hernandez get it started for the tie. >> Five minutes remain. [Music] Okay, >> fits deep. Oh, wow. What a save. Oh, man. That was big. >> That was to the far last reach of that wingspan. [Music] Wow, check this out. You're going to see an absolute just nice loft. >> And how about Zas? He just held he just held the B button just a little bit there. He just held it a little bit.
Stayed up in the air. >> Got fingertips on that one. That was a big save. So what they do here, they don't help me out, but this is the way it actually goes. So when it hits the five minute mark, they stop the clock on the field. So it's kept with the officiating. Okay. I'd say they're roughly a minute into that. So I'd say there's about four minutes left, but I'm uh I'm merely speculating. So it's something they do in the second half of play. I've seen this before. I'm not entirely sure why, but uh we'll do our best to let you know how much time's left, but there's less than 5 minutes left. I can tell you that. So, Crimson Tide ball after that foul. >> Gonna get a good look at it right
there. >> Okay, so that's set deep. Lopez Palasio has put his foot into that one. [Music] We got a whistle. >> Don't Don't tell that to Lucas Rebello, Ariel, and Eric Zeda. >> Crowd getting a little restless now. [Music] >> Crimson Tide throwing. [Applause] That's deep. Oh, here we go. Here we go. Hernandez, >> working it around. Cycles it back. And Tide will get back to that last line of defense. Jason Santos is going to leave it for Menjava Caribal. Oh no, that's a tough one right there. Just out of the reach of Sanchez. That's going to be Whistland English. And that's a yellow card by Kum Mech. Mech right there looked like he may have gotten involved with a Win English throwing. And that's a quick yellow card. That's our first card of the
evening. >> So, I think the the officials are just making sure it goes into the books and we're back in play. Zambrano throws it in. >> That's turned aside. Oh, that's the guy you want. That's Garcia. They can get it to him. Nice move right there by Rebell Ariel. >> And they're going to call that. [Music] [Applause] >> All right. >> Tension's rising a little bit. getting a little hot on the field. >> So, we got a yellow card that is issued to number 11, Lucas Rebella. [Music] [Applause] And I think some of the >> some of the fans here are looking for maybe an offsetting yellow card. >> Yeah, it does. It did seem like there was a there was emotions rising on both sides and just one yellow card issued which goes out
to the Everett side. So, some of the fans here not very pleased that that wasn't offsetting. And I I could I could definitely hear that. Fair point. Fair points made. Nonetheless, the officials trying to just get some order here. And what has been a very clean game played really no extracurriculars to this point, but uh again, you got a close game hanging in the balance. Emotions will run high. So, free kick coming up for English. And again, maybe there's 2 minutes left. This is the part that if you're you're trying to broadcast the game, you don't get much help with the clock stoppage at 5 minutes for the optics. But just know that there's not much time left. >> Lardi, that's deep. That's out front. That's going to go out of play. So Todd will
have the goal kick. All [Music] right, Tyler are going to have to move here. >> Okay, here we go. Garcia now trying to get after it. Zas falls on it at the last moment, making it a little interesting. [Music] Bulldogs doing a very good job of just getting possession, hanging on to it. Tied seeing if they can get a quick one here. Time is not on their side. It is winding down. >> They have to move quick. >> The crowd imploring the tide to move. [Music] English right now. Matter of just keeping possession, sending it deep down one end of the field. >> That's all they need to do. [Music] >> Okay, nice movement. Oh, that's a big steal by Lardi. >> Lucardi now just continuing to eat up time. >> Come back, guys. And
the Bulldogs coming up with every play you need them to make right now. Again, it's a battle of just chewing up time and that's what the Bulldogs are doing. [Music] There's a good look at Edwin Menjavar Carabal, >> junior goalkeeper. Very solid in net tonight for the Tide. [Music] >> Here we go. >> This is Hernandez. tied knee to go. >> Oh, nice move. [Music] >> Back over to Kleo. [Music] Okay, here come the tide. [Music] >> No call there. Crowd does not like it. >> And English now continuing on the move. [Music] Send up high >> trying to get something going to Garcia. Anything at all. Garcia has it. This could be the Tide's last chance at it. It's a good one. Hernandez on the doorstep. Safe. Kick aside. Go. Wow. How about that?
How about that? Number 18, Salmon Cleo with the equalizer. This place Wait a minute. Wait a minute. There seems to be surprise. There seems to be surprise. Did they call offside? I I am I am confused. There seems to be confusion that everything appears like jubilation, but the Crimson Tide appear dejected. They call offside. >> Wow. So, they called offside and that seems like a tough one. I'm joined by some fans checking out the monitor themselves. They seem as surprised as I am. I mean, it looked like it was right on the doorstep. >> I don't know. He came from He came from behind. >> Yeah, he came from behind. It's a rebound opportunity. I mean, you're going to get behind the defense when you're inside, you know, the the the zone. You're inside the
goal. Yeah, that that's a tough one right there. That's a tough one. The tide. I thought they had just tied it up with next to no time left. Unfortunately, waved off by an offside call. We have a replay right here. Got a replay of it right here. So, there's the initial save. Now, behind him is Cole puts it over the head of number 19, Kameich, but he's behind him because the goalie's out in the play. You're inside. from behind. >> Exactly. >> Yeah, that's tough. >> That makes no sense. >> Yeah, I uh again discuss discussing it here with a few players that are checking out the action and uh they seem just as surprised as as we all are. But uh okay, here we go. We got some more action and the centering attempt
just goes a bit high. So, good help there. We talk about this together and that's how this one ends. Wow. Oh man, an absolute stunner. The Crimson Tide, who battled back in dramatic fashion, >> thought it appeared we had the equalizer with next to a minute left. And Lin English, saluting the crowd. And there's a good look at coach head coach Rodney Landervery. And I tell you what, coach Leandervery and his team left it all out there in absolute exciting fashion. I thought they had it. They they did everything right towards the end of that game. They just ran out of time. Nice job by coach Landervery. And uh tough way for that one to end. That one's tough right there. You got two two bitter league rivals going at it. And it looks like
the Lin English Bulldogs are going to escape River Green with a 2:1 victory, but not before some drama filled the end of that one. You could see some of the coaches going it over with the officials here uh as we approach and go into the postgame handshake. But uh a tough one nonetheless by uh a tough hard-fought loss rather, but the Crimson Tide. I mean, again, really proud of how they fought towards the end of that game. I thought we had something wild that might have been Sports Center worthy, but uh nonetheless, it did not go into the score sheet and it's the Lyn English Bulldogs taking this one two to one. So, that was tough right there. That was tough. Okay. Hey, well, we just want to thank you for joining us here, EHS
