I aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Second. Any discussion? All in favor say I. Passes. All right. To review policies,000 series and copyight. I do not have any leadership governance policies as well. Excellent. Yeah, ask where those are. We were just looking for they should be they should be on when you go under policies should be they be under board governance. So yeah, >> we thank you. All right, let's send a text to everybody. Great. So proud of you, Dad. I feel like your wife has the one thing that stood out to me in chapter that I thought was interesting and something that you um say difference mess specifically give them a

shout out or maybe we don't know the specifics to We have volunteers here at the school. >> We have many volunteers. Yeah. >> Especially our activity programs. We have a note from all the different departments or something of who those folks are. I didn't even know we had I apologize to the public. >> Well, even that's on social media. Was there something on page 61 says members are advocates not only for our community but also people's there must be an intentious balance and broadening of Mine was on page 65. I really like the thing that says it says difference makers know how to have discussions with community members that do not mention them the community member but we really should say imagine if when we hear question or hear a suggestion we should [snorts] ourselves

and imagine that we're not identifying the person. But I understand just saying this is an idea. Could we make a difference by using some of these thoughts? Jamie coming up. No, no, I'm not all this. I like the board members provide for the caregiver community by assisting what could happen given different sources of action even if their community members do not anticipate. This is what care is all about. >> Then again, I love the figure of Maslo's hierarchy of needs. >> Oh yeah. School eventually graduate. So actually I love that person. I haven't done [laughter] the first me thinking. So it was good. This chapter was just the statement of in italics for quite some time. about the cander and authenticity for the bestand side to be transparent and answer questions when they come and

ask the questions but I don't it goes on to say that strategic relationship we should be forming those relationships with our constituency not just I think I definitely handled my duties more just being transparent hoping that's enough. So got a hard lesson in that. >> [clears throat] >> administrator reports. Any questions on what? Are we ready for it? >> Are we running the little six? >> No, no, we're not running. Are we ready? Are we excited to get there? >> We are. The schedule is not super fantastic for us, but we will make it work. And um we've we've got a plan in place for what travel will look like for kids that those two days. >> I am very glad we are not hosting it this year. >> All right. So this is the

financial and revenue report for December. So start off with the general fund. This is the expenditures for month of December. It's $249,827. >> [clears throat] >> So instruction first and that was expense of $144,364 and that leaves us at 63.24% of our budget at this point. Instructional support for December was $11,6249. At this point, we have 76.72 [snorts] administration was $50,2269 how that was spent and we have 51.89% Maintenance for December was 13,9389. We were at 49.86% of that budget. This was kind of a quiet month. Uh transportation $29,534.88. They have 38.88% of their budget. So wellness, we did have some expenses and wellness this time 1628. This at this point we have 13% of that budget. No transfers were made this month. will be for next month. So overall for 2026 fiscal year at

this point we got 1 almost 1.5 million of our budget which it totals to 38.17%. Questions about J. Okay. revenues that we've received for December. Our special education reimbursement was $23,377. Local was $68,832 and our foundation payment of $235,36 for a total of $327,56 December. So we are 50% done with the fiscal year. So I thought I would just throw this in as a comparison of where we were at this time last year. So represents fiscal year 25 year 26. You can see the difference in expenditures. They're pretty close. The budget spread is pretty close at this point and the numbers. So like if you take the biggest one which is our instructional aspect of the budget and this time last year we expect 669,000. This time we're at $688,391. We kind of expected that

with the increase in wages and some of the salaries that were coming out of grants. And if you look at some of the biggest again, transportation, we did purchase a bus the first part of this year. So that's kind of chopped that one up quite a bit. 94,42 almost 240,000 and other things as far as basically the buses have had their checkups running in. So that's kind of why the difference in transportation this time of the year. Last year we already made $50,000 transport to school large. We haven't done that yet. So that will come next month. So that's why that transfer. Any questions about this year versus last year? All right. Let's look at our other um funds. We have our lunch fund. Um we spent $12,959.84 in December. Um the breakdown of where

that is. And so we have 54.2%. uh no major maintenance expenditures for the month of December. So we're still at about 63% that budget remaining. [clears throat] Uh school housing $525 for some maintenous that was $38,000. I think it was the heater. It's one of the two. Um, no expenditures for depreciation reserve. So, we're still 100% of that budget remaining. Uh, capital construction. This is we did $20,415. This was for the work that's being done for the units, the air units. They had put a deposit down. Um special revenues, we spent $11,235.38. There's the three grants that we utilized. That's another So we have about 63% of that budget. Um so total expenditures for December of 328,26274. This account this includes all of the funds that we have. And then year to date, we spent

$1,977 $613.70. Right? Most of that General questions. >> [snorts] >> This is what we've got grants currently and all of those 24 25 grants are being spent either by the end of this fiscal year or by next year. This is what's right now. >> The actual actual right here is what's remaining right now. what I said with timelines. The one exception there is this this grant grant from the government that timeline on that majority of these there are year-to-year grants title grants 119 these pretty well spelled out with comparative >> as a state. All all of those title 1245 611 619 is a federal grant is a state grant mental health is a state grant and then we appit this federal Title Title 4 is meant to provide opportunities of education. >> That's what we're

using. >> Oh, we're using it for Okay, got Thank you so much. [snorts] >> Top one was a check that Mr. order issued back to one department of education within our title one grant that amount was double claim well actually in the transition from one software to the other so we had claimed it I claimed it in the new software that she said it wasn't supposed to be there So disagreement [clears throat] zeroed out at probably the end of 24 was transition time there. So that was TS mechanical is the company that we contracted with to install the splits and that's the first half. That's [clears throat] the first half. So up front they have build us for the remainder but for coming back once electricity is there site is correct install Industries is the

last two are the two Those are out of South Dakota. We we wanted we wanted to reason so that it was the highway driving. >> Those were we were looking. Those were the questions discussion items information uh advocacy week go down to China in February when does need to know it' be good if we we know sooner rather than later on that one in terms of getting hotel rooms registration. If you know you're going, let me know. [clears throat] [snorts] >> I'm not going to be able to vote. Good. On the topic, >> she just sent she sent urgent notice. >> Yeah, I haven't read it. >> It's an invitation to participate in that professional panel. >> I I do think we can talk a little bit tonight about the Oh, we can just bring

that up right now. asked Greg to put together basically all of the hinge points for the model in terms of what the proposed legislation at this point would change. And the the biggest one that is going to be impactful to our district is right now the proposal is to do away with a small district adjustment. We've been talking about that since November. Um, right now the the small district adjustment provides 4.57 teachers to a district and it's a little under $400,000 cost if that does go through. It's the single biggest impact that the change to model would have. the change to teacher salaries with that being an upward increase. There's there's a couple other changes. There's a honic wage index that would change the way that they adjust for regional cost. Both of those are

positive influences for our district, but they don't they will not come replacing that small district adjustment. So if if you're inclined to take part in one of these professional judgment panels, I think the the conversation that we need to be having and I will be having with the recal next week is the importance of small district adjustment for districts that receive it to operate. There are there aren't many districts that receive it, but I think right now it's an important piece for our district and those others which are 2, part 16, Fremont 25. There's just a couple others that are getting we are in talks of meeting up in Cheyenne that what does that what does this look like when you get on for your meeting? What what are we expecting? the the meeting is

going to be property, schoolboard members, superintendent, business managers. It's it's meant to be exactly what it says professional. So, they're wanting education professionals on there to speak to the the model as it's written currently and they're really looking for just feedback on what's what's good, bad, or otherwise good and what's proposed. This is the legislators are not involved in this. >> No, this is the this is the consultant that they've hired. >> So, they're going to take the lean off of this to present to legislation or at the committee in February, >> the the committee meetings for recalibration. >> Oh, January. [clears throat] Okay. And so the last the last dates for recalibration are at the end of next week and at that point the committee will send their instructions to draft the final bill

and that'll be what enters the legislative session as the bill. >> Okay. Okay. >> Are you talking about this here? You got today. >> Yeah. There's no expectation that you talk. It's it's kind of open for you when you want to. Sometimes if there's enough people in the room, you got to hit the raise hand button. If you want to register this week on Wednesday. [snorts] Okay. I do think it would be good for us. I know work. I might try >> I can't Thursday, but I could try one of the two times. >> They are. >> Oh, they are. >> So, they'll be the exact same. >> It's the same topic, but you'll have different conversation. So you might have someone say [clears throat] um conference. I went to this last year and I

thought it was pretty good. Um the I don't think anybody was interested in this year but it does conflict with our March. Correct. So the thought Mr. Christensen and another state have a presentation that essentially he's going to leave Wednesday. So we're going to be able to make a Wednesday meeting. So, we're looking at pushing a board meeting to just Tuesday and filling everything there so that Mr. Christens there. So, okay. If anybody has any opposition to that, let me know. Otherwise, just do >> good. So we'll just move our March board meeting will be on >> 10th >> Tuesday the 10th >> dates for community engagement community lunch Wednesday and I think maybe we should schedule the same session for next week of February. That work for the first week of February and >>

[clears throat] >> High school girls are going to be playing Thursday. That's on Tuesday. >> Thursday. Yeah, it's 179. >> Yeah. Tuesday after Tuesday apparently >> we have what else do we have from winning Actually, Jennifer, I think all I don't see like an option for you to add that. It has the board is invited. >> So I have chases the district organization >> says boardshranththers.com. >> [snorts] [laughter] >> last week in January. Yeah, there's a few >> invite. Thank you. >> [snorts] >> Okay, sorry. There's a game on Tuesday. [snorts] >> There should not be a game on the 28th. with my birthday. We go up to four. February. [snorts] because there's a good opportunity the 20th trusting [snorts] That's it. So we're looking at sorry the 25th Yeah, 26 is good for you

guys. We could do anything that first. Yeah. [snorts] >> [clears throat] >> here. >> Yes, that work. Yes, a life meeting. So you'll be here >> or else do you have a wonder general talk to the board. >> Yeah. I mean our last one I think because what was going on we were very narrow on the topic but in the past we had a topic and then we opened it up to >> conversation today it's begin to have community involvements decisions around rules of education profile graduate change graduation policies Okay. Excellent. Uh quickly, let's review the agenda for tomorrow. questions. Some new policies we're going to be voting on and then um appointment and approval of different committees. I'm just Any questions on action items [snorts] [clears throat] just >> [snorts] >> We last month

off shows the cost of that. discussion. Any other questions? [clears throat] You want to throw that back out? Tomorrow, but I think my emotion tomorrow I think Tomorrow's first reading first. That's moreense to me. I think that's just >> Do you want to send Gina and or I know your thoughts on that? >> So, well, whoever is going to be I guess after approval tomorrow. Okay. And I person >> I think we are going to strike this for tomorrow until the committees have a chance to go back over it and then next month. >> Yes. >> Oh. Yes, from sorry from anyone. >> Yeah, you have spots access. just a lot of them. >> Can't remember exactly what I saw. So we also need to set that a discussion item to set it to set

the date for a policy after we have our first reading. >> Yes. >> Matter for it to be in the agenda for us to set those policies or those committee dates. >> Perfect. So, we'll just do it after. >> What about anything else? question. Okay, I am content
