[laughter] some might be able Guess if she gets on >> [laughter] [laughter] >> figure out. >> I can see [laughter] As I kept reading, I was like, >> I mean, they were very red. North when I didn't stop [laughter] and there's supposed to be a meteor shower. >> So exciting. I don't remember there being this many opportunities for the northern >> I don't either. I don't know if I just >> I thought I had to go to Alaska. [laughter] >> We had fantastic AC. >> Yeah. Not when I heard last night they weren't moving as much. >> Like two years ago we went out and watched them and they was really dancing. >> She's still like what is this guy sitting next to me? >> He tried to hold her and she lost him. Now

she's staring him down. >> Thank you. >> [laughter] >> waiting on Chase. [laughter] You're waiting on me now. This morning, Miss Natalie was waiting on me. [clears throat] >> He's mad because I passed him on the way to school. [laughter] >> Were you supposed to be able to pass him? >> Of course. [laughter] driving people. So that's why people are passing in [laughter] his pilot license. >> All right, it is 7 o'clock. We'll call meeting to order. Roll call shows that Deb is absent, but everyone else is present. To the flag of the United States of America to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, liberty and justice for all the agend. I post same sign. Motion passes. All right. and public comment. >> All right, moving on then to our

house and FFA presentation. >> [snorts] [laughter] >> Okay. [laughter] Okay. Our house has me. I'm the current head of house. Chloe Mock. She was last year's head of house. Addie Miller, Jake, Calie, Trinity, and then our adult members are Mrs. Betts, Mrs. Papinga, um Cindy, Hector, Amy are our honorary members, and our past members are Delena and Justin. >> Oh, yes. Sorry. Be Wolf House has many values, but there are some that outshine others. And these would include bravery, unity, and a readiness to protect. Our house is built of numerous people who each [clears throat] show these values in different ways. Examples of this would be Trinity's bravery of sharing her ideas in student council and house meetings. Jake's readiness to protect and defend our house when adversity arises. Khloe's inclusive attitude towards creating a

unified environment. Addie's willingness to rise above fear and take on incredible challenges. Callie's undeniable leadership and loyalty showed throughout her various activities. for my willingness to adapt. When we first created the house system, I'm going to be honest, I was not a fan. Um, however, over the last year and the beginning of this year, I started to understand what the house system meant and what it could do for students and even teachers and staff members. So, I found out what the purpose was and it was something that I wanted to stand for and that's why I became a house leader. Our connections are sorry our connections are directly connected to Fiducia and Herculean because they are sister houses and then our cub house is Koa. However, as Panthers, we strive to create an environment that

everyone is accepted into and is connected in. A perfect example of this would be our last week's Panther Clock where we played blind volleyball with a sheet over the volleyball net and we played it in our sister houses. Not only was it a fun competition, but it reminded us of how we are all connected under one roof. Everyone was cheering for each other and everyone was a panther. This is the overall environment that we strive to have while still having individual houses. When we are in a house competition, we can have a fun and competitive spirit, but when it matters most, we rally together and know we are Panthers. These are just some more pictures from the house competition that we did. And then reasons why we love the house system. If any student has

an idea, they know they can bring it forward to a house, a head of house, a house staff, or even both. This allows for one small voice to make a big impact in our school. Every student's voice matters and the student led house system allows us to reinforce that. Two, the house system acts as a family while still working together to all form the panther claw. Similarly to how our community works, everyone has individual families while they are still residents of their town. Like families, sometimes disagreements will arise, but most work but most work to get together to make ourselves and the entire Panther community stronger. With community being so important to Panther living, it is important to get this implemented throughout our community, including school. And three, high school isn't always a cakewalk. Building

friendships while figuring out you want what you want to be can be hard and it can become a challenge. If someone isn't on a sports team or on the FFA chapter, they may feel like they don't have anybody's support. However, through the house system, everyone has a place. No one is outplaying anybody. No one is better at speaking the creed. We do h house competitions that are varied intentionally. So, every student gets a chance to shine, showing everyone that they are important and loved. and doing this through the house system can make a big impact. Last but not least, I want to thank the various heads of house for coming to support me and encourage giving me the courage to do this presentation. I'd also like to thank Mrs. Betts for giving me the support

to figure out how to lead a house and giving me the courage to accomplish many things within our house. And I would like to thank all the board members for taking the time to listen to my presentation and hearing how important the house system is not only to me but to our school. >> Thank you. >> All right, let's go on to the national Hi, I'm the chapter president, Bronc. >> I'm the chapter vice president. I'm Chloe. >> And we're going to give you guys a little presentation and kind of a little recap of what we did at nationals and what we brought back from it. We started off of our full first full day in Indie with session one including keynote speaker Arc Jackson and some chapter bonding after session one. >> The next

day which was October 30th we did some industry tours. Um and then the concluding our last full day in Indie, the 31st, we visited the convention center and the career fair for a second time and then watched got to watch some of the parliamentary procedure finals to start our trip in Indiana. We went to the career fair and expo and kind of got a little taste of it all and to see what it was all about. And then came time for session number one. It included keynote speaker Art Jackson, who taught us how to go out of our comfort zone and try new things and be okay with it and being comfortable. We ended our day with a little fun as well as some chapter bonding by going to Topgolf, having some competition with each

other, and just getting to enjoy ourselves. The second day, uh, the morning of the 30th, our group started the two-hour drive to Louisville, Kentucky. After the drive, we arrived at Churchill Downs where they have the Kentucky Derby every spring. Um, when we were there, we got to watch a documentary on how the derby works and how everybody as a community comes together. And we also got a tour of the stables and the track. At the stables, we got to take a photo with the horse that won this year's Kentucky Derby, Somi. Later that day, we went to the Louisville Slugger Museum where we got to learn about baseball and all the works behind the scenes of it. To round out our full day in Indie, we went back to the NA to the convention center

to make our full lap through the career fair, visit all the booths. They had a shopping center and then we got to tour or talk to colleges and uh businesses. We als and then the last thing we ended up doing in Indie Anna was watching Louisiana in the top four for parliamentary procedure to come back to our own parley pro team to learn how to better ourselves. One of the first things we learned and something that we all took back from national convention was the self-confidence and learning how to go outside of our comfort zone from Art Jackson. He did a really good job of teaching us just little tips and tricks on how to just better ourselves and be better people. We were also able to make memories together and meet people and do

activities we wouldn't be able to do in Wyoming. We got to meet the national president dad who taught us just how to kind of be ourselves more and how to add more energy and stuff into our chapter. >> The third thing we were able to do, we were able to meet with thousands and thousands of members. There were 64,000 members at first session and we were able to personally talk to and meet with members from around 45 of the 52 uh states and territories. And like I said, we were able to meet with national officers and network with them. And we got to see on a national level how to run a chapter meeting. >> Uh thank you for your time and the opportunity to attend the 98th National SSA Convention. >> We definitely learned

a lot and brought a lot back into our own chapter, not only through us seniors, but also through our freshman. Jordan Mitchellina, he was able to come and I think he'll be able to help our chapter grow with just this one time experience. >> Thanks guys. Okay, [clears throat] consent items. Can I get a motion? >> You guys are awesome. >> Absolutely love your procedure. We're still learning. [laughter] [laughter] >> Okay. I need a motion to approve our consent items. Okay. [clears throat] >> The internet is one. Is there anything that >> we'll have a second next month and then then it's in for the for the internet one. It's just over. Okay. All right. I move to approve the items on the consent agenda as presented. Get a second. >> I second discussion. >>

Okay. Hearing none will proceed to vote on motion passes. Okay. Administrative report. Mr. Beth, do you want to or you're good with your credit? Unless there's anything sticks out. Do you want to highlight? Okay. >> Not really. >> Nope. I just thought I'd give you the opportunity. >> Right. So, Mr. >> Well, I was agenda. Would you scroll down? >> I got you. >> Try. She's on the wrong from yesterday. [laughter] >> So, it's just >> Yeah, it changed today. We had to move these to today. >> I knew we were, but this [laughter] on my agenda. >> All right. So, financial report for October of 2025. Again, we'll start with the general fund. The overall expenditures expenditures for the month of October was $270,541.75. There's the breakdown of them. Everything was pretty average this

month. So, no big purchases or anything. So, quiet. Starting with instructional, we expend $157,683.669 in the breakdown payroll expenses and then other expenses for instructional. At this point, we have 77.91% of that budget remaining in [clears throat] their expenses versus the remaining budget. Going to instructional support, we expended a little over $14,000. Again, cable 10,212 and other expenses about $4,000, which means that at this point we have 85.33% of that budget remaining. Moving to administration, we have $49,91166 what was spent this month and just pretty average school board. I was going to say >> is that that lawsuit still >> some of it the biggest expense here um [snorts] $4,000 of it is the CVY training that we had in August was they sent us an invoice in August for $4,000 and [clears throat] they

finally sent us the invoice for the second Most most >> I will touch base with Marty. He also owes you and I speak speaking of law there was oral arguments today in the Supreme Court building Cheyenne. So I would anticipate Supreme Court's heard everything. They've reviewed everything. They'll be making decision sometime in the next. >> Okay. So as of now the administ administration has 66.84% for 80% of their budget remaining maintenance that a little over 21,000 $21,593. Um again, break up payroll facilities expenses and utilities. Um just uh there's two um power um bills two months worth in that utilities expenses because of the timing of the board meeting last month we did not have bills before the board meeting. So they didn't get paid until this month and we did because of the latest

board meeting get this month. So that kind of deals that part of it. So as of now we have 59.35% of that budget remaining. Transportation spended almost $27,000 payroll expenses. Um and then fuel and fuel is kind of this money. So that's a it's just we're driving less or just >> probably just probably just a factor of when [snorts] the tanks get filled. >> It's not like we're paying every time we fill a vehicle. It's when the big tanks are filled up if it happens twice in a month or once in a month. >> So at this point, transportation has 52.26% 26% of the budget remaining wellness. We spent $200 for wellness incentives. So at this point we have 89.49% of that budget remaining. No transfers. Yeah. Um so do we have 100% of that

budget? So for the fiscal year at this point we broke the million dollar mark. We spent 1 million $3,544.97 which is 28.26% of our budget. And there is the breakdown for the general fund of where that money went. And for reference right now we are four months into the fiscal year. So we're a third of the way through the fiscal year and a quarter of the way through our budget. So things are good. Our revenue for this month was um $383,598.32. I just wanted to point out the short tax shortfall. Just a reminder in case what that is is um this is a from the state paying us from last year the money that the local taxes didn't pay. So they'll the county had a certain amount that they were assessed to pay. They didn't.

So the state makes up the difference in um Octo. So that's why we have the $35,561. And then of course our special education reimbursement for the month, the local taxes for this month were a little over 19,000. and then on the monthlyation payment. Any questions on that tax shortfall? >> This is an interesting concept. >> It's it's a happens because the state guarantees us the amount that district is going to give guarantee and part of the revenue that comes in to make that guarantee is local revenue. So, Mr. Brewer has to tell them this is how much we expect to get from the county and when people don't pay the taxes we don't get the money but it still has to be guaranteed by the state >> it's to make up the bad thing about

this is that you're counting on this during this fiscal year or like this one we would have you counted on it budgeted for last fiscal year it was just revenue that we did not receive for need it >> but um that's kind of what it is so now the state's just making up for it this year So it's just kind of an ongoing process every year so that we do get our guarantee last year is met. >> All right. Other accounts outside of the general fund, we have the lunch fund which spent $10,18245. Again, remember last month we did not have the food purchases because of our Cisco statement. So this is um approximately two months worth of food purchases 8,000 and then we have payroll and miscellaneous expenses. At this point they have 74.76%

of their like that Greg is it I don't know what's wrong with this table. P the pie chart is uh about 18,700. >> What's that? >> Oh, >> the pie charts about 18,700. >> Yeah. I don't know where that number >> which one's pie chart. >> Um the pie chart is well we have um spent more than 663. What's that? Oh, back here. Yeah. Yes, this pie chart was correct. >> Okay. So 10,000. >> That's what we spent for the month. >> Yeah, >> that is correct. >> What we spent for the month. That's the break up for the monthly. This is supposed to be year to date, but something happened with that number. So I'll have to look into my spreadsheet on that. But the percentage wise, yeah, I'll have to fix that. uh

major maintenance. Uh we've expended $11,535 this month and um so at this point we have um 63% of our budget remaining school housing just to explain that. So this was a fun thing with um roofing company. My mind has been blank. Rock Creek. Rock Creek. >> Yeah. >> So anyway, we paid them. They never got the check because we sent it to their PO box. So then we um cancelled the check, wrote him another check. Then we got the check. So anyway, it's just been kind of So we had to we had to cancel. We we had to back out one of the checks. So that's why it's a negative >> basically with the two checks we paid >> and this is this is because we paid in one fiscal year we back it out

in this fiscal year so we're at a negative amount. >> Yeah. >> So so at this point basically we're at 77.42% of that budget remaining under appreciation reserve. No expenses at this point. So 100% of that budget remains. [clears throat] Capital construction, no expenses this past month. So we have 82.24% of that budget still in place. Special revenues, $35,578.18 was expense. There's the break up between the three grants um that we used. Actually, there's a little bit and we have 62.43% of that. >> Any questions? >> There will be much more information forthcoming. Um, Mr. or Mr. bus and I had an opportunity to sit down with uh Mr. Van Bugman Bman from Rep who typically is is our project plan for working. We started talking about potential major maintenance things for trying to get

a little bit ahead of that four before it kind of rose to the top wall finishings throughout the 712 where we're starting to have that vent just deteriorated walls after 30 some years. uh uh a security vestibule out front. We've been on on the district radar and act's got plans all drawn up. He did this few years back when the state initially issued some security that's become another priority for the state of looking at security both with regard to security vestibules and how people enter the building as well as ballards. Um, a third one was thinking about a security fencing arrangement out back so that it's not as easily accessible both to the the egg back parking lot, playground, everything for someone just off the highway. And fourth one was traffic flow through the commons

area and what the concession standing area looks like. those things as we get some information [clears throat] from Levby with regard to cost everything else we'll be here for discussion if it's projects we want to move forward with for next summer after on down the line just want to let you know that first pay first conversation happened and those are the ones that Mr. Bus Mr. for really raising us things we might consider for next summer. Let's proceed on to action items. Can I get a [clears throat] motion to approve the purchase of the heats? >> I move to approve purchase seven units and 15 minutes many split cassettes from TS Mechanical for $47,5629 as recommended by the administration. Second. >> Okay. Second. Any discussion? Have we worked with them before? >> Yes. I think

that they maybe have been purchased recently. The proprietor I mean one of the main operators for their company is a father of five students. have good relationship work with them on that side of things. But we have had each of these >> each of these are it's the same company but it's for different things equaling below the 50,000. We didn't need to put it out on bid. >> Yeah. >> And if it's the same company, >> what we're doing is is buying the the units. So, we're gonna we're gonna buy them basically from their distributor and then they're going to install them once we bought. So, it'll end up being two different bills. Um, the project that we're really asking them to do because we we had multiple companies give us quotes on buying them

and then we had the companies give us quotes on installing them. So, we're really going to be hiring them to install them. We're just purchasing them through through their company because the they're the representative to the manufacturer. >> Are we getting them at cost and they get marked up? >> Um, are we going to be able to care by this company if they need it? >> I I don't see any reason why not. Um, I think that right now we have our HVAC systems maintained by Great Divide every year and we haven't put that out for a quote. We we just we've gone with Great Divide for the past few years because that's the relationship we had established. We did have luck with uh this process of of having three companies give us at least

come out and look at the project. I think that it's probably important [clears throat] for us rather than just continuing to go with greater divide for our our HVAC maintenance. Um on the air conditioning side that we would probably ask be sync three if not beyond that. All of the beyond that we weren't able to get to answer calls or come out the project but we would at least have these three bid what they would charge for the maintenance bill with whoever is makes sense to go. So none of the maintenancees contract is included. >> We have to go with the lower of our quotes, right? Didn't we run into that with something else do like out of state in state or something? >> We talked about preferences uh with the roofing. you you have

the option to evaluate bids under any any scheme you'd like. Price has to be the highest factor. It doesn't have to be the only factor. >> Um, and I I'm assuming someone has done the research as to like these machines and what their reputation is. If we're we've been I don't know if we've been looking at these specific ones, but we've been looking at a couple years. >> Yeah. And I'll say it seems like everybody is everybody in this business is working with Mitsubishi or Hitachi in terms of commercial product to to do these installations. I think that their the the other main quote that we received was from they were using a ton, but I think both of them it's it's kind of a contracted choice with which one their their preference is. >>

It was interesting. It's been a while since I looked at quotes, but it was interesting to me that the price difference was much and I didn't decipher through the bins well enough to make sure that there wasn't something missed. >> The I I would say Mr. bus did a fantastic job of of walking these gentlemen through and our team of what what the project needs to be. So, um, every contractor that came out and and looked at it had the same conversation saw the same expectations and and I think that we're probably in a good spot for comparability. >> Okay. Okay. Would the tax for all this stuff be issued prior to receiving or after? >> It's 50% down 50% >> and forension also. >> I think so. See? >> Yeah, they both say 50%

down, 50% final. Okay. Any other discussion on this? [clears throat] Okay. Just for the purchase of the pumps is what we're voting on right now. Just a reminder on this one, we did receive a a grant from Wyoming Energy Authority for this project for $45,000. >> 45,000. >> That's not installation. That's just >> basically that's going to be buying equipment. >> Okay. It could it could have applied to both, but cost is such that basically it's going to buy the equipment. Okay to proceed about vote. All in favor say I. I post same sign. Motion passes. I'm going to put the contract for the installation of these pumps. I move to approve contracting with TS mechanical for installation of the heat pump out units and many split cassettes for 40,837 as recommended by the administration.

>> Second. >> Moved and seconded. Any discussion on this? Okay. Hearing none, we'll proceed to vote. All in favor say I. I. All sign. Motion passes. Move to approve contracting with Highlight Electric for various electrical work for 28,500 as recommended by administration. Second >> moved and seconded. Any discussion? That's just for everybody being brought up to code. >> There's quite a bit that revolves around bringing things up to code. Um we were written up for the electrical on the kiln that came to light because of a little bit of a burnout issue that on the plot probably got a little bit loose. Uh I think there's a chance I think pretty good chance that CO has kind of followed down differently from into what was initially installed there versus what's there now and and just

over the years not making sure that those things got moved forward accurately. Um another is to avoid the same situation with the new press that we've got in the shop. It's the exact same situation that I think happened with the kil. There was a plug on the wall for the for a kiln and a new kiln was purchased and somebody um the district at that time bought a plug that matched the one on the wall and could attach the kil to the wall, but the amperage on the kiln, the amperage on the wall just aren't the right, right? We all we all run into this and you you plug a 30 amp welder into a 50 amp socket. Not a great deal because it's never going to trip the thing it's supposed to trip if

something goes wrong. That's the situation we were in on the kiln avoiding that with the press getting our wiring done for shot clocks that is being required by the state. So we'll have the wiring dropped and and ready for when we get shot clocks for those up. um bringing a new circuit into the concession stand because we've had issues with the [snorts] glee with which people order smoothies and our ability to make them is drawing too much amperage at a given point when we chip our circuit. >> That's pretty bad. [laughter] >> And we've got the bleachers coming in. The bleachers require a slightly different amperage uh for a plug that to operate those than what we've had in the past. Uh, so it's it's dropping a new fire for those and bringing the the

electrical drops in for the main. >> Um, we have a bridge at our ampage, whatever the word is at our main >> and our Yeah. transformer to run the mini splits. So that'll be a big p. >> Yeah. went in and we if you'll remember when we installed the greenhouse, we it's kind of forward planning for this project. So the the electrical panel that we put in the greenhouse is significantly larger than the greenhouse. Um it's got room for the majority of these mini splits. I think that we're going to have five of them running down this side of the building and around to to condition these classrooms and then the AR room in here. Those are all going to be electrical pulse from the greenhouse. That's lots of bus space. Everything is there for

plug plug in and go and plenty of amperage. Uh the others we're going to have uh one unit that's between the classrooms over here and the library. Uh that one is going to be run through an electrical panel that's already in our observer room right outside the door here. And that's going to require taking work working work the panel a little bit. The amperage is fine but the bus space is not there in the panel. So it's going to be combine a couple things maybe abandon a couple things get get that space. And then a similar scenario on in our mechanical room in the elementary wing. The the panel is full but not at amperage capacity. So they're going to combine a couple buses to some splits and then create the space to be able

to run one of these units over there as well. >> And the power from the pool is plenty. Any [snorts] questions or discussion on this? The vote. All in favor say I. I. Motion passes. To approve purchase shot clocks. I move to approve purchasing shot clocks from Dacttronics for $10,683 as recommended by the administration. >> Second. Any discussion? >> I know yesterday we talked a little bit about these don't have to be in place, but for the year 2027. Um, but it seems like to get them in place a couple years early is pretty much across the board what everybody in the state's doing. We're seeing our opponents do that and and other other districts just to give their employees an opportunity to learn how to run shot clock, get refs used to it, players

used to it, everything else before it becomes a mandatory market. >> Yes. >> So, how is this is this what budget does this come out of? >> Um, So there definitely could be general fund or else if we wanted to use some of our construction money. >> I think we'll have we'll have construction money left in the budget. So let's say capital construction. >> Is that reimbured by the state? >> No, that's money that we set aside. >> Okay. If we purchase this now and it's not required till uh 27, is this one going to be up to date enough that we're not going to have to change it again of 2027 or you know because if we buy it now and we have it for two years, are they going to require us to

have something more modern or different than what we've got right now? Uh, Dacttronics is a a longstanding company in this business and I will say that their their equipment is uh is well built and this to the point that our scoreboards that are on the wall are from Dacttronics and we're going to be getting a new control board because it's got the right buttons on it and everything to run shot clock, but the control board is still going to operate the scoreboards that we have. So, the company's very good about not not forcing a situation like uh one of our uh tech manufacturers that starts with an A and is fruit. Um about making it so everything only has a very shortlived life, right? They're they're they're a long time. >> So, um [clears throat]

this real fast. What is this shot timer two displays scoreboard color? So, we're replacing the scoreboards. >> No, those are the actual shops. Those will go up on the backboards in the gym. So, I have one on each backboard and they'll they'll do the really difficult job of counting down from 35 to zero. >> I thought, oh, they're doing the countdown. Whereas this backboard lighting kit is lights up when the clock is run down. >> It'll go behind the backboard so that there's uh a light that is a little easier for the ref to see. So they're not having to actually watch the clock to see if they've run out of time. They can determine if the shots been made. >> Behind the backboard back. Are you talking about the basket? >> Behind the backboard.

Behind the glass. >> Attached to the glass. Yeah. >> They're attached to the glass itself. >> Yeah. And what happens when we raise them? You know, because we pull them out sometimes and we turn. Is that going to make a difference on them? >> The only the only element that's going to matter for that is the electrical and the electrician is going to when when making that drop, it's going to be so cable. Um, so is used interior, exterior. It's a pliable cable. It's not like you see run through walls. It's designed for uh projects like this. So, it'll be a piece of so that follows that beam down that uh doesn't necessarily move up. So, it'll have a little bit of flex. So, when we move the backboards up and down, it it really

is not going to be noticeable. >> I think Casey already has that when you were down there for volleyball. >> It really is. I mean, if you've watched a professional game, you know, cuz that as the clock ticks down, you're about out of time, they're going to fire that shot off, right? So, if you're the ref and you're trying to figure out if that shot hit before >> the buzzer goes, then tell the light. the only and >> we're running down the clock. >> I do think that having this in place is going to be a benefit to our athletes to have it as early as possible. But I think the real reason is that in the tech world right now, we're experiencing 7 to 10 to 15% inflation every year. And this thing's going

to cost us 107 right now. If we wait year and a half, it's going to cost us 12. This is mandatory thing we have to do. >> Yeah. This is the the grand scheme of the Wyoming High School Activities Association board that gets to make decisions around activities that have very meaningful financial consequences for districts, but we don't have a whole lot of stuff. [clears throat] I mean on a bigger scheme, you know, how many of our kids are going to play college ball or go on to to pro, but if they do, this is something they're going to see. So if they're used to it and like it's not a shocker when they get to the next level at this point. uh >> that scholarship, >> you know, it's again, we've talked about it's

not for next year, but if if it's not installed the following year, we would be ineligible to host varsity competitions >> really. [clears throat] >> So, I have a question on the warranty. Is that warranty again upon purchase or upon installation? How would how would guest purchase? >> Okay. >> Installation will follow soon thereafter. These aren't a difficult installation. It's the the new controller is just going to map out for what we've got sitting on the scorers table right now. And as soon as the electrician is able to run that SO cable, it's going to be so cable down the basketball, put the shot clock on with a couple bolts, probably secure LED light string around backboard. It's done. >> Maybe it says it also pays for applicable permits. What kind of permits do we

have to have? any any electrical work. >> Okay. Any other discussion on this vote? All in favor say I. >> All the same sign passes. Get a motion to approve superintendent evaluation. Superintendent Christensson's final evaluation. I second moved and seconded. Any discussion? >> We had a good discussion last night and >> I think all areas were covered really well with the discussions and stuff. >> Right. Um proceed to vote. All in favor say I. Same sign. Motion passes. Okay. Can get a this is an appointment. >> All right. The appointment of a curriculum review committee for life skills. Um I would like to appoint Hackett and myself to this committee. I request that we we have a K6 teacher, a 712 teacher, a classified staff, and if a parent is willing to serve another parent,

>> K6 712 classified and parent is That is my question. >> Just create the position. We'll fill the position just committee will be made up of those positions. And if you'd like to administration, >> can we have two parents? >> Let's see if we can get two parents on there. And we're going to be part of that conversation. >> Me or I think that's fine. >> Okay. So along with that, I'm not appointing anybody for these. We're just opening up position on the committee, but uh we'll have a K6 teacher, 712 teacher, a classified staff member, two parents, and an administrator on this committee. A motion to approve that. I move to approve the appointment of the curriculum review committee for life skills as recommended. >> Okay. >> Over here appointing people [laughter] being appointed.

>> Oh, that's >> okay. Move and second. What are we discussing? How do you feel about the initi? >> I think it's good to have voices from all areas. Um I know I don't know my ideas going in, but I'd like to hear what other people have to say. I would be interested to see students have to say too, not necessarily to be on the committee, but maybe there's another way we can get that feedback to or even past students that they feel has been helpful. I don't know. >> I don't know. I don't know if it's a student, current student have I don't know. I was thinking cuz I can see here what they feel like they're maybe unfamiliar for or >> I mean I think there is going to be some confusion here

because we're calling it life skills when in reality it's it's less life skills and more on the social emotional curriculum that we've been to succeed and the current curriculum may lean that direction. I think that the discussion should be >> I could also I guess that would be opportunity do listening session want to make your committee huge but get some feedback from different parties. I'm just throwing ideas out there. something. >> Let's hold on student for now and see what what come up with >> the committee decision later. And this is and maybe this is what the committee one of the things they will decide but are we looking at um throughout I'm guessing K through 12. Any other discussion to vote all in favor say I. opposing sign passes. The last one personnel action

report to approve the personnel action report as recommended by the administration. Second, Dusty. >> Second. >> Oh, dusty seconds. Any discussion? I would like clarification to make public the individual and what what status they are what status we're voting on for them. >> Who are we talking about and what are we talking about? >> This is a resignation of our head volleyball coach. Okay, thank you. >> Any other discussion? >> Uh, I will say that thank you to him and u I for one at least appreciate stepping up. My understanding is we may [laughter] have not had a season few years ago if we hadn't had a coach volunteer step into the position and I appreciate that somebody took that on and and it made a good program the last few years. So, thank you.

Sad to see you. >> Say to that, uh, definitely stepped into a tough situation as coming in and planning to be an assistant and had to take over the head job at that spot and made a commitment to the district to get us through that year and spending three. So definitely has given tremendous amount to our program, our district and continues to do so in other areas. >> Very appreciate. Thank you. >> If someone's different for that job or >> we'll have to post it. >> Okay. Any other discussion to vote? All in favor say I. Signing motion passes. >> All right. From the board. >> I always looked the right. Sorry. Um I would like to congratulate the because they did an awesome job and going to nationals is just phenomenal. And I would

also like to congratulate the girls volleyball team for making regionals. They played an awesome game to qualify for regionals, but I don't think anybody could have beat them. It was absolutely fantastic. >> They're calling you Ditto, Dusty. [laughter] >> I actually stand in the office. I think it's I think it's gonna stick. [laughter] Uh nickname for Dusty. [laughter] I've had >> you have nothing to >> add. [laughter] I know Christian's got a He's in a hurry, so I'm gonna take up all the time. >> Not in a hurry. I just got five hours driving to do when we're done. >> Um I uh agree. I think it's awesome that our kiddos got to go to Indianapolis. I think um bringing a few opportunities to our school for our students to see more of the country

outside of our little town um is is awesome. I'm excited to see that happening. Um and I also attended the Veterans Day um celebration at the community center and our band, our 712 band did an awesome job. Um, Jacob Carvalo um did an awesome job with the tabs. Um, [clears throat] just fun to have us involved and have that musical piece there. And I don't have much to say on anybody was wondering about Christmas concert December 16th. Cute. Don't know what time. I didn't know if it was going to be before our next board meeting or or after. So, excellent. I'm excited. I'm excited for the Christmas concert. It's December 16th, 5 to 8. And I think it has been decided safe. Last year, we moved to having elementary and a dinner and a secondary

concert. And I think that that was uh well liked by community. kids and all. So that >> were you gonna have an incentive for people to stay for the whole time? >> It's the right thing to do. >> I felt like I heard I was going to come, but I heard that some that we had some people leave early rather than save the high school section of it. I think I think that it would be uh fantastic to have our community members stay for the secondary concert, but we do need to recognize that that elementary concert is going to be over and and a lot of parents with elementary kids have got bedtimes to worry about and chores to get done and other things. So, I think it's certainly would be fantastic to have as

much uh the crowds stick around for the secondary concert as possible, but people have >> indeed they do. All right. >> To answer your question, what would you what would you what would you see as an incentive? >> Santa Claus was a good enough incentive, but apparently not. Oh, I I will call upon you. >> Well, I didn't know if I could talk over. >> Well, you technically can't, but since I've called upon you, you can. Okay, cool. Um, so I was an active band kid in my high school and what we would do is we would have a cookie drive and so well, we called it a cookie drive, but like we weren't selling anything. We just asked like every band kid or like every family to bring their favorite cookie that we were

able to share as a community at the very end. Like they had it all lined up in our main hallway. Um and they like it just brought everyone like everyone wanted the cookies at the very end. It was a big deal. [laughter] >> Do you have any suggestions? I like your suggest Hold on. I like your suggestion, Amanda, because one, you have dinner and then you go to the rest of the concert and then you have dessert and two, it takes a little bit off of our cook. Then you don't have to make dessert last year. I did not, did we? Good on us. [laughter] >> Well, never mind. And also >> we did Santa on the way into dinner. >> I think so too. Santa at the end too. >> Sorry, I had another

thing. Um at the end like my freshman year like it was a big impact that way. And what my graduating class did is that we made a cookbook. We asked them to bring their recipes with it. And so then we bring community in that way with but we had a much larger band like there were 60 of us but [laughter] >> but like it brought in like another atmosphere of like togetherness. >> Yeah, I like that. These are great suggestions. Thank you. >> You're welcome. Kelly, do you have anything? Oh, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. >> Um, actually, I haven't watched the high school band probably since my nephew was in it when Will was in it and him and Delena and Cammy. I would have loved to hear hours of them play. And this one might

be similar but in concert but dance. I don't know. [laughter] I don't know what kind of music they're playing but >> but I don't know. >> Thank you for your input. >> I should stay and watch. Maybe I will. >> It's like Mr. Christensen said our kids are like maxed out home and they eat all the sugar that was in the bags. >> [laughter] >> until the end. >> I'm ready for them to go home. But you can make them >> anytime that Grey and June can dance to music, they love it. So that might get them to stay. >> What about is that not >> including some of it with dinner? >> Oh yes. [clears throat] Yeah. >> Having choir and band or just there. >> She's got she's got a choir going. >>

So maybe like the choir could sing during supper and the band perform right after. But they they do the theatrical dinners and we went to a pizza place when I was in Arizona um [clears throat] that had a pipe organ. So we ate and watched them and I don't know just >> I appreciate suggestions. >> Fantastic. as small as they are. >> And I and I really like that last one, >> but this has got to be Miss Johnson decision. [laughter] >> But you can suggest she's probably not right now. >> All right. Excellent. Okay. December board meeting. I don't know >> anything to look at. >> Anything we need to prep for? >> We kind of need to plan our next >> Let's put that on for December. >> Yeah, >> we just had

one. >> We don't. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Um what about was it have on there for discussion the survey results? You want to add that? Now I would entertain a motion to >> adjourn. Any discussion to vote? All in favor say I. >> I post same sign. Motion passes. Perfect. Go forth. [laughter] [laughter] >> Actually, I think >> I think I had one. I think I've had one, but we did some hard work yesterday. >> I don't know. This says give me wisdom and knowledge. Thank you. Seriously.
