Okay. Okay. Now we stand for the pledge of allegiance and we'd like to do a moment of silence. Mrs. First of all, I pledge algiance to the flag of America and to the republic for it stands. One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. >> Please remain silent standing. Take a moment of silence. I want to remember the uh our service men and women, our students uh who are serving in the military, especially with all the unrest in the Middle East. Um I'm afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better. >> Thank you. Um, I like a motion to uh move the agenda around a little bit. I would like to uh do the auto body edition first and a question and answer on the lottery. One of the committee
members has questions. Can I get a motion to move this around, please? >> I'll make a motion to move the agenda. >> Second. All those in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed. Take it easy if you um before we get on the auto body edition, I just like to tell you a couple things that uh that I did during the course of the week. Um we had uh last meeting uh wrestling travel voucher for 1,700 some odd dollars. I had come and signed for. That figure changed. I just want to tell you the figure changed. It was a little bit less. I think it was about $200 less and I did sign for um just to make you aware of that. Uh second thing was uh when the uh vice chair and I were
here together, we had uh brought to our attention that the wrestling team um won their match and we were moving on. Um, and we signed for that or I signed for that at no cost to the district just to uh let the kids go across the state line for the tournament. Does anybody have any questions on that? >> Thank you. Uh, the superintendent is going to give us good news on the auto body edition. If you would, M. >> Well, on body admission, we got the bids, which you should have a copy of that. Um, this bid document and uh the low bidder on it uh was pulling construction at 558,600 uh dollars. Um we have we had 225,000 grant money that was uh awarded to us put towards that particular project. And so uh
originally we were we had originally put in for I believe 1.6 six million sus the number but uh but we only got 800 and something thousand and uh part of the money went to send equipment and uh to the other thing that we're going to be bidding on is a spray group. So, uh, that leaves us, uh, to, uh, use our capital improvement money. We need to use $350,000 our capital improvement money to make up the difference in order to, uh, avoid the bid. Uh, so once the committee approves the lowest bid, if it's the lowest bidder, um, and approves the use of the 350 from capital improvement and can sign a contract with project. We used 335. >> Oh, 335. Right. >> Not 350. >> 335. >> Am I right? >> Yeah. 335. Round
005350. The numbers here. That's good. 335,000. And they um in order to uh offset the cost. >> Just so you know, the capital improvement committee did okay. this uh to bring for for a vote. Can I get a motion for that uh final figure of 335, please? >> Make a motion for you take a vote on that chair, please. >> Discussion discussion. um for the uh the program is the purpose of doing this to expand the program or just to make more room make more space because it's crowded in there. Kids are really too close. It's too much equipment in there. So, in order to get more space in there, that's what the addition is going to allow us to move the freshman program into this addition. It's not a huge addition, but it's going
to allow us to put the freshman program in there and then open up a lot of space in the upper class part. And where is this additional? >> It's going when you look at when you come up to the right side of the school up there and you look where auto body is. Do you know where is >> if you look at between the two garage doors going in between garage doors? >> Okay. And so within this contract to do that um part of expanding the building will include the equipment with it or is this just to pack? >> So the in the build in the space itself we don't need any equipment. Originally when we designed it we would put a new spray booth in that equipment and take get more space in the
existing shop but because of the cost we wanted to reduce the cost. It would have been more costly to do that. uh we decided to take one of the uh spray booth that's in there now, remove it and put the new one in its place because that way we didn't have to replace all the mechanicals. So that saved us about $200,000 and because we didn't get what we wanted in the grand uh made it more doable. >> Uh so that's what we ended up doing and in some ways I think it's better because it gets the freshman out of the space of the classroom. >> Thank you. Um last question. Um, when was uh bid posted for the auto body edition? >> That was posted I'm going to say about probably five to six weeks
ago. We have >> five to six weeks prior to the acceptance, right? >> Yeah, we prior to the bid opening. >> Bid opening. >> Yeah, we won't accept it until uh you guys approve spending of the funds and then we'll do a contract with them and then sign the contract. So we haven't done anything in that regard yet. >> So >> thank you. >> But the bid was out there a long time because we had to keep doing amendments because there was a lot of questions. Uh so every time we do amendment we have to resend it to them. >> We have to resend it to them. So basically kind of twice it's out there for two weeks. >> And was this part of the recommendations from the advisory? Okay. >> And I'm assuming there's
remaining recommendations. This just happens to be >> you're going to get recommendations in the March in the March meeting. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> Did you have a question? >> No, I think I answered. >> Can we can we take a pause and just do a roll call, please? Here. I didn't do roll call yet. Miss Ferris present. Miss Dan >> present. >> Mr. Jones >> here. >> Mr. Mia >> present. >> Mr. Mercedes >> present. >> Mr. Tox >> here. >> Mr. Hel. >> No. The list of the leaders are here and I see how that one I got my answer. Thank you. >> All right. Superintendent, I asked you previously to do some followup questions on from our last meeting for the lottery. >> We still have to approve this. >> Sorry,
>> Miss Tesla. Yes, >> Mr. Jones. >> Yes, >> Mr. Mia. >> Yes, >> Mr. Mercedes. >> Yes, >> Mr. Tox. >> Yes, >> Mr. Hatum. >> Yes. Thank you, >> Miss Paris. >> Yes, >> I want everybody to note that attorney Wayne Simmons is present. get approved contract the >> separate contract on the first one >> that yeah there's two parts to the auto body project one was the addition the other one was the new gray booth so the new gray booth went out the bid also we only had one bidder well it went out twice the first time we had no biders and so we had uh we had put out 10 document 10 requests for about the documents but nobody bid on it. So the second so we put it out there
again and I think two people request documents for the bid only one person only one company bid on it uh and uh >> so their their bid was 335,000 which is in about what we thought it would come in. We had had expected we had gotten some rough prices around 325 to 350 and it came in at 335 to put a brand new spray infrared spray blue which is the newest technology. You have to use infrared in order to paint electric vehicles. That's why we needed to replace the ones we have more advanced technology. >> We just to approve the contract. The contract was for the building itself which is from capital improvement. >> Yeah. This money is coming from capital improvement. >> Yeah. This coming from grant money. >> That's for the addition. >>
For the addition. >> You voted on the money for the addition. >> And so you said the second one >> is for the itself which is going inside the building, right? >> Yeah. Okay. >> Yeah. It's a separate it was a separate bid just for this piece of >> which is the 325. >> Yeah. And that's 325. That makes sense. >> I mean 335. Yeah. >> And that was And that's covered by the capital skills grant. Okay. >> All 10,000 of it >> which the capital skills grant got accepted for that. >> Yes. Yeah, >> we did get it. Okay. >> Oh, yeah. We got the money already. Okay. >> Oh, no. We didn't get the money. Once it's done, we send in and we'll get the money. >> But the money is in the
account. I think that's not in our account. It's not. So, >> it's reimburseable, right? It's reimburs. Correct me if I'm wrong. >> Well, you're over there. I'm over here. So, that's good. Um I thought we already voted on this very >> we voted. Yeah, we voted to put the project out and accept to have it done. >> But why do I remember that amount? >> Oh, I'm not sure. You think we already voted? I didn't think >> I do. I totally do. >> I think we put in the grant figure. announcer we had for it. >> Yeah. Well, I wanted to make sure that you guys did vote on it. >> I I couldn't find it in the minutes. I couldn't find it in the minutes. So, I wanted to make sure. So, >> we
had a packet. >> Yeah. You had a packet on the uh bid that was going >> to put out >> to put you voted put it out. I don't think you voted on >> who got the bid, >> who who won the bid. That I don't think you voted on. At least I couldn't find it in our minutes. >> Yeah, >> Mr. George. >> Yeah. Well, the night it came up for us to discuss and vote on it was because they wanted to expedite it so that it didn't take another month for the stuff to get ordered, >> right? >> But we did. >> We didn't do it that night. >> I just want to make note to everybody spray boot services did the last three spray boots. We have the last two sprays and
a couple of prep stations. Very reputable company. Um, and they're the biggest around if you can find anybody else out there. Can I take the vote on this? Any further discussion? Mr. Mercedes, do you have any? >> Yeah. Yeah. And and so what's going to happen with the spread that we have right now? We sell it. >> The spread was that we're actually saving all the mechanical pieces of it. The part that we're not saving is the uh like the metal walls and doors and stuff, the box itself. So, he's going to see if he can find somebody that's interested in it. He says it's not typically usable because it's so old, but we'll see what he can do. It's not worth a lot. What's really worth a lot is what we're saving the mechanical
piece of the and because we switch and put it inside, we were able to use the uh old mechanicals and old duck work and everything. So, it saved us a lot of money. Okay. Can I get a motion on the spring, please? Second. >> Any further discussion? Sure. >> Mr. Jones. >> Yes. >> Mr. Mia. >> Yes. >> Mr. Mercedes. >> Yes. >> Mr. Tarbox. >> Yes. >> Mr. Hayden. >> Yes. >> Miss Ferris. >> Yes. Uh, Mr. Boy, can you answer the few of the questions that I given you for the uh lottery? Oh, so the one of the questions uh well one of the questions was what happens to people I mean students who apply after the application day date and those all go into a group and um and what happens is
we have a separate lottery for those students. So if we exhaust the lottery for the groups that were on time then we go to the second one then we go to the group that didn't get their applications in on time. So they are also a separate model for them. >> It's called a late application pool. >> I'm sorry. >> It's called the late application pool. >> And how will the parents know about this? >> So if they apply after the deadline, they'll they'll receive an email um that should specify that in the email. I I mean I can check that communication but they would be notified that they were too late for that initial lottery. >> Now the initial lottery those numbers will drop down to the waiting list automatically. >> So the yes once
the lottery is held all the uh students are assigned their number and their rank order on the the um the lottery list and then we just keep going through until we exhaust that list. And we'll be posting u we'll post the initial list after the lottery. So every single number um that's drawn, it will be posted in that order and we'll sign off and certify that list. And for the first one, we'll highlight who's accepted and who not who's not because every student will be on that list, not just the ones who are accepted. So we'll highlight to to make it clear who's accepted and who's not. And then I believe that we're going to um add an updated list at the beginning of each month. >> How will that get out be on the
website? So, we'll post it on the admissions page of the website and we'll talk about it during the lottery administration. Um, that this is the process. >> Any further questions on the lottery? You can get that way. >> Yes. >> I mean, yeah, we're answering the question that Mr. Lend asked last week, but I sent a specific question from the >> questions. So but I can I ask >> no I can I can question. >> So I have a parent that has their lottery ticket and they have the communication that they have the the lottery is going to go through and that doesn't mean that they have been accept. So my question the question is what happened after the lottery is strong. What's the process? So I think you touched a little bit on that
but you I'm still not clear. If I have to answer questions I don't the answer is not clear and I know there's going to be a lot of comments that I'm going to be questioning after this goes on. So Mr. Al boy reported 13 almost 1,400 applications that's why you and the question that I ask you is all of those are going to go to the lottery and you say yes so we understand that there there's not I mean you apply you're going to the lottery so >> there won't be 1400 in the lottery because some of those were late >> so there you know >> and that's fine so what I'm saying so how many numbers are going to be drawing we know how many are going to be accepted right because of how
many available seats we have what is it 500 >> 500 >> something like that so how's that process going to go I'm going to draw 500 number I'm going to draw 600 number and and after that what's going to happen how pattern is going to be informed you said something about you said maybe which is something that I always get concerned because when you said maybe or maybe or I think that means you don't know exactly how the process is so I can explain. >> Sure. >> Um, so where where how they going to be notified? Where they going to go? And when we have to answer questions, what are we going to answer? It needs to be very pro. So, um, we're not just pulling a certain number of students from that lottery. So,
the day that the initial lottery takes place for any student who applied on time, they're in the initial lottery. Every student who's in that lottery will be assigned a number between 1,00 and 9,999. So, everybody gets a number and then we list all of the numbers in order from low to high. So, a low number is better for this lottery. The lower the number um the better your place is in that lottery. So, everybody's on that list numerically. Initially, we'll take the lowest 500 numbers. So the the students with the lowest numbers 500, they'll get initial um notification through email and a letter that they're accepted. Anybody else will get a >> Yes. >> So everybody's going to get >> everybody gets assigned a number. Yes. >> How many numbers are going to be? So
March 12th when the lottery is going to take place, how many numbers are going to be? >> Every student who's in that lottery will receive a number between 1,00 and 9,000 numbers that were given to individual people. How many are going to be drawn? >> 500 students will be accepted. >> 500 >> that's not answering the question and that's where the confusion is. So, >> so listen to me. >> Lottery, right? >> I buy a lottery ticket. >> Million people buy a lottery ticket. So, there's a million number >> million numbers in the lottery ticket. >> Yeah. >> When the drawing is full, how many tickets do they how many people how many numbers are? >> Five. >> And then somebody is going to say, "Oh, I got a number." Or not. >> Yes. >>
How many numbers? How many? >> I don't know how else to answer the question. I don't know if there's anybody else who could >> I don't think I can articulate it. >> So, one second. Will you yield to >> So, basically what what is being described is like kids will get a number like let's say my number is >> 6,000, right? >> They're going to look at 1,000 as the lowest number and then 9 9,99. They will pull the top uh 500 from the lowest to highest. So let's say your number is >> 1 to 500. >> Yeah. Let's say your number is a thousand. Then you're most likely to go. >> That's the confusion in in this lottery system. Wow. >> Yeah. That's the confusion with this lottery system is the lowest number you
get, the more chance you have. >> Everything is confusing. >> Yeah. Yeah. Because it's a new system and it's it was the state that put this system in place starting school. So, >> so it is a lottery, but it's not the same as playing. >> Yeah. And it's also not it's not it's not 100% aligned to like a charter school system. It's a little bit different in that sense. >> Right. So, what are you what you're saying is the only the the panels of the students that got from one to 500 those are the one that going to go in the lottery. >> No, not at all. >> Not at all. Every so every >> So confused. >> Let me see if I can explain it. So, we had, let's say we had, >> let's
say we had a thousand kids put in an application by February 1st, right? All thousand of those kids are going to be in the lottery and all thousand of those kids are going to we're going to uh get assigned a number. Computer's going to give them a number and the number can be anything from 1,000 to 10,000. So now all thou all thousand kids have a number, right? Then we start pulling the number. The lottery start pulling number. They pull number 650 as the very first number, right? So they put on on the spreadsheet 650 is the first one. Then they pull another one and the next one 700 on the second student to get in whoever has the number 700 be the second student and so forth as they get pulled if their number
is the lower one. So after they pull all the numbers then they say oh okay this number is 650 700 the next number was 800 the next number was a th00and so the and they draw the tickets and they start putting them on a spreadsheet and then they see what student had that number and that's the student that gets in. >> Yeah. >> Gets in but not accepted. >> Yeah. They get accept they get accepted. They get accepted. >> I think that's what her confusion was. you know, she wasn't sure if just because they got in a number they would just get in. So, but after all those numbers get pulled out, only 500 numbers are going to get pulled out and those are 500 >> the first 500 get pulled >> they're going to
pull they're going to pull as many numbers as there are kids. I understand. But the one the her question is once they pull those numbers, whatever order you got in, right, the supervisor's going to get a number, >> right? >> Then they put in the the the ones that get pulled out, they're going to put 500 of those kids. How those 500 numbers are going to how those numbers going to come out. So it doesn't matter how they come out, they going to get from one to 500 kids, >> right? >> We only get 500 kids. The rest of the kids are going to get a number to be on the waiting list. And based on how they come out on the on on the on the lottery, they get the same position to get
called if they get accept if if there's space available for. >> Yes. So 10 kids don't come in then we'll go to that list. Who are the next 10 numbers? >> 10 numbers. >> We take them. >> It's a little confusing. >> Why don't they just go to 500? >> I think I'm getting it a little bit right now. I think I but but this there was somewhere that we said if you got if you apply and you have a lower number you got more chance that's not true correct because if we have a thousand numbers to pull and depending on how that number you explained that very well thank you that number is going to so I I pull and the 900 is the one that was first that's go first on the list
correct >> yes >> and then we're going to pull side. >> No, no, no. It doesn't go like that. No, I'm sorry. >> Square zero. >> No. So, they pulled all the numbers, right? They pulled all the numbers. Then they take the numbers and the lowest number goes on up first. The next number goes second and they put all the number. >> So, can I let me make one more distinction that might make it more clear? So the first number that's close to could become could be 5,000 and that's the first number on the list and then it could be a th00and then it could be 6,000. Right? So they're all different orders but then it's basically like a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet gets sorted >> numerically >> by lowest to highest number and then we
take the lowest 500 numbers. Those are the ones who are initially accepted. So the numbers go on the list in the order that they're pulled. We sort it from low to high and then the lowest 500 get accepted. Does that >> clarify? >> So why do we even do a lottery if we already know that the lowest five not 500 numbers are going to be >> because the number is assigned to them during the lottery. That's what the lottery is for is assigning the numbers. >> You got to thank the state for the state for >> Yes. This is not change after confusing. Amen. >> You have anything you want to add to this conversation? >> No. >> Questions on this? >> I'm glad to fit on this one. Right. >> I think I think
they're going to redo it in year two is my guess if you want my >> but to your point. I think it's it is confusing. Um so really the best case scenario if you have a question really the best thing is to direct them to the admissions office. if it's not a you know >> let them know by >> answer somebody in the admissions office can take that time to fully explain it >> I have a question so you all >> set you know is just talk about low numbers so if you have 10 let's say there's only 10 students in and I shouldn't be draw 10 kids are going to be climbing but we're only taking five Right. So, all 10 have a number that we put 10 numbers in. >> So, if I
applied first, I'm sure I'm going to >> Doesn't m No, not necessarily. It doesn't matter when you apply, but only 10 people apply, right? >> I know, but >> but we're only going to take five of the 10. So, we pull out numbers, right? We pull out numbers and number 10 is the first number we pull out. >> But then you said it's going to be rearranged. So, the 10 is going to go back to nine. >> No, it doesn't matter. Number 10 is the first number we pulled out, right? and then number six and then number seven and eight and nine and so on. So we've pul until we've pulled all the numbers, right? But we've pulled uh then we look at it and say, "Oh, what was the first number pulled?" First number
pulled was number eight. So number eight's going to get in. The second number that was pulled was number. >> So back to what I understood at the beginning, but you guys took me back out. >> I think the emphasis on the low numbers is what's throwing everyone off. I mean they'll the the how low the number is really has no effect on anything. The first kid that can get in could be number 2500. So I know you rearrange the spreadsheet to reduce the numbers but that gives no indication of their chances or anything. I think that's what's throwing everyone off. >> Well 2500 was the lowest number pulled. That would be you know the first student in if they had that number. >> Right. But by saying >> when I'm sorry. >> No, no, no.
I'm just I'm trying to help and maybe make it more confusing by mentioning the >> Attorney Simmons has been working on this before anyways. >> Yeah. Well, second maybe. But the stating the low numbers don't don't that how low the numbers has no effect on anything. That's why I think throwing some people off. >> That's true. >> It doesn't increase your odds. It doesn't your number 10,000 is just as likely to get picked as number 1,000 or number one. So, they only rearrange the numbers to What's that? >> No, that's not >> exactly. That's one >> the way I understood everyone is assigned a number that applies. >> Yes. >> And they gen random generally pick those numbers based on random generation. >> Right. >> Every student is assigned >> a number >> their lottery
number right from 1,000 to 10,000. >> So I have my ID going into it so I know what my ID number is and what I'm looking for. >> I'm randomly assigned one of those numbers. But the lower the number, we're choosing from low to high. So the low number, it could be the last one assigned in the rotation, but the lowest number is the student who gets accepted first. So the low number does matter. >> Isn't that after they picked though? >> So you're saying the lower being assigned a low number, I guess, is my point. Has no effect on anything. >> Well, not if all not if 500 of kids got lower number than that, doesn't matter. Once all numbers are out there, then you say who what's the lowest number that was drawn?
It could be number 3,000. Every other number is higher than that. So 3,000 is the lowest number. If the student has 3,000, they get in. >> But my point, if you're assigned number one on the list or 1,000, whatever the lowest number is. >> Yeah. >> You don't have any greater odds of getting in. >> No, >> that's my point. >> Well, well, >> it doesn't change your number. >> You would because that's the lowest number. No one can get a number lower than that. So you'll definitely get in. >> You still >> Well, I want to explain it again how I understand it because he's making a point. She's saying no. He's back to Well, he's the same point. So, okay, the the number that the students are getting to get to the lottery
is the number based on the application. We understand that. Now we're drawing numbers and it doesn't matter what the number is that they have. If that number was pulled first, that person is the number one, right? >> No, >> it might appear on the list initially as the first one on the list and then everybody else who's pulled their numbers would show up and match with that student. But at the end of the lottery, that spreadsheet is sorted from low to high. The the the number that was assigned to you. So say I'm in the lottery. >> So that which is what's confusing because you're saying that but he's not saying that. He's not saying that. I'm not understanding. >> No, I'm saying what she's saying. I'm saying that doesn't they they pull let's say
they pull 500 numbers, right? Because there's going to be 500 seats. So everyone gets a number. Then they pull 500 numbers. And of that 500 number, whatever was the lowest of the 500 numbers, which could be 6,000, that would be the lowest number. Everyone else has a higher number. So they they drop below that person. See what I'm saying? So you have >> Yeah. >> You have everybody has a number, but then we're only going to pull 500 numbers. >> It can be a number anywhere from a th00and to 10,000. So now when we have all the numbers we sort out what was the lowest number of all those numbers was 6,000. >> Why do they have to do that? >> Like to make it confusing this that's the state's process. >> So one second.
>> Okay. >> No. >> I think I she's got the floor. Hang on. She's got the floor. She gets >> No. Best way is to do a process sheet. This is the process. >> You should know something. I need something. >> Yeah, we can send you a We can send you a process sheet. This is the process. >> I'd like to >> and I can actually send you a video um you know from another school that's already done this and you can watch that video. So you can see from another school and you can look at their website and you go to their admissions page and you'll see that certified list with the numbers. That might help to make it more clear. Better than nothing. >> All set. >> When are we having >> way
after the >> We can send you the link. We can send you the link and try to send an explanation document that helps follow the uh the video. You can see >> who's next? So I just going to explain it. So I think I understood it now because still it doesn't make sense but I understand. >> Yeah. >> So when they pull the first number they pulled the you know I was the first number and and my number is 9,999 and I'm the first one. I that doesn't make me number one. That's I'm still the last one to get in because even though they boom my number, the lowest number to the thousand going to get better chances than me even though I got pulled first, >> right? >> So how that how does a
lottery how is that a lottery? >> But that's that just that's what I said. I I understand it if it still doesn't make sense. That's how it is. So I'm number 9,999 out of the 10,000. Right. >> But I'm the first one that can that got pulled out. That still doesn't make me to get in because then they put everybody else under. Even though I got pulled first, I'm still the last one who have a chance because everybody else have a lower number than me. Has a better chance than I than I do. >> Even though number 1000 is the last one to get pulled out, he has the first the first one in the lottery. He's already in because he's number 1,00. He have the lower number, >> right? >> No. >> That's what
happened. So then out of the 1,00 then 1,0 is the second lower number. Then 1,0 is already is number two. Then 3,000 is the lower number. Then 3,00 is the number three. 3,59 is number four. That's the and so on until they get to the higher number. And when the higher number is out, the rest are out. Even though the number 9,999 was the first one pulled out, he still got no chance. >> Okay. >> Can we do one more question? >> No, I have no more question. I think I don't want to prolong this discussion. I don't want to prolong it either. >> I think what would be helpful is the administration, they can send the entire committee a guide of how it is and the video that you're referencing so that we can
change everything. >> Yeah. But just a reference, this is a thing that the state made >> and it's intended to be confusing. So that's what every single vocational has to deal with right now. And there's going to be a lot of confusion with parents because I'm assuming we've all gotten some sort of call. So that that guide would be helpful and even for the parents too. It would be helpful so that they have their questions like a frequently asked questions sheet kind of thing. They can just go and look, okay, I got this number. What does that mean? >> So it's like the charter school, they'll come in on Zoom and they'll have like a >> you know like the lottery games, they'll throw out numbers and >> number one question is over. >> All
right. I understand the numbers how you can get your place but what happens if we're we're allotted percentages like Lawrence said 65% we have 25 has five >> this chart doesn't change >> I understand that but what if more of the lower numbers happen to be in the do like say we use up our 25% plus >> so you do you do you do the calculations separate for each community. >> Same same thing. You still have to get the same numbers from the community. >> You still take the lowest number of the kid. Whoever has the lowest number of the kids from Mando will be first. >> Okay. Each each community >> is a separate is a separate calculation. A lot they get the same everyone gets numbers at the same time, but then when
we calculate who gets in, it's based by community and the same sequence is used. So it's really like four spreadsheets sort of right. >> So it'll be sorted by community. Yeah. So um if you know Andover has 25 spots then the lowest the students with the lowest number 25 students with the lowest numbers from Andover they get in. The lowest numbers from North Andover 25 they get in. >> Okay. I'm going to have to stop this conversation now. This is a special meeting for a special topic. >> Um thank you everybody. Mer I hope that was helpful. If it wasn't, maybe uh we can make a meeting with the guidance department and see if we can serve some more. >> I'll um at this time, I'd like a motion to go into executive session without
the uh superintendent and the assistant superintendent uh to discuss a meeting that we had with them >> before we continue. >> Do I have a second? >> Second. >> All those in favor? I >> opposed. >> Excuse us, Mr. face. Yeah. >> Yeah. Oh, yeah. Best behavior. Back in session, please. >> Ladies, gentlemen, >> Superintendent back in session if you wish. >> Vice Chair. >> Yeah. Okay. So, are we ready? >> Yeah. Okay. Uh motion to accept the superintendent's request to postpone his resignation under the following conditions. Superintendent's current deployment contract be amended to provide a fixed expiration date of June 30th, 2028. Salary will remain at 2025 to 2026 rate for the remainder of the term. You will be expected to provide at least six months notice of resignation and there will be communication
with by November of September of 2027 to determine an extension to June 30, 2029 if it's appropriate. The superintendent shall not take any on any additional projects without first discussing with the district committee. >> Can I get a second, please? >> Second. That was quick. Can you call the vote, please? Any further discussion? No. >> Please show >> Miss Tesla. >> Yes. >> Mr. Jones. >> Yes. >> Mr. Tox. >> Yes. >> Mr. Mahia. >> Yes. >> Mr. Mercedes. >> Yes. >> Miss Ferris. Yes. Mr. Hayen. >> Yes. Congratulations, please. >> I'll take a motion to agenda. >> Second discussion. I
