006fine Kate is Kate is the daughter of Denise Fitzgerald and Keith Saxon of Andover Kate is a stop a top student in our biotechnology program since her freshman year at glts Kate has embraced and demonstrated the glts core values of supportive environment lifelong learning growth mindset and high expectations Kate is an incredible young adult she's compassionate articulate responsible and amazing advocate for herself and for others she stands out as both a student and a person Kate is excelled as a student here at glts achieving a 3.9 GPA Kate is a member of our National Honor Society a peer mediator an active participant in Reggie leaders our student leadership group she has represented glts at Area Middle School presentations to encourage students to attend glts and can be found at most of our school events supporting
007our families and students she was also on the board of the class of 2023 throughout all four years of her High School career helping to fundraise and plan events for the senior class outside of glts Kate is a member of the Teen advisory committee at Boston Children's Hospital through this organization she advocates for teens with chronic health conditions as part of her role Kate meets with teens and their families who have been recently diagnosed to help guide them through the challenges they may face Kate has spoken at conferences in front of hundreds of people to help bring awareness to chronic medical condition she has also served on a panel for School nurses to better prepare herself for working with students with chronic health issues at schools Kate is truly impressive is a truly impressive and
