It's going live. It says it's going live. You're live. >> We are live. It looks like Can you see us? Tell us where you're from. >> Tell us where you're from. >> No, [clears throat] that's too early. >> Oh, okay. All right. Throw Throw in your name. >> Your real name. >> Is anybody home? >> We [laughter] just got to know if you guys are can see us. Hey, all right. >> Oh, nice. Amy's always so kind. >> [laughter] >> Rick knows that Morgan is Amy. >> Yes. >> Uh so glad you're all here. Uh I hope you're here. Hope we're here. Uh we're going to go for about an hour or so. Uh We'll be singing some Christmas carols. Uh and if you share the song, you were entered into a drawing. You might

not have known that, but you're you're entered in a a drawing. I didn't say that when I asked you to to share a um a song. And of course, we do have some dad jokes. So, I'll start with a dad joke that I've used previously. Um and I was going to see if Rick remembers this. So, uh did you hear Did you hear about the blind cyclops brothers? Do you remember the punchline? >> No, but I remember the >> [laughter] >> I remember the joke. >> NEITHER HAVE I. >> OH. IT'S [laughter] GOOD. IT'S GOOD. >> UH SO, ANOTHER YEAR'S flown by. It's really interesting. The one thing I always liked about I like about sitcoms is how they every year, you know, Tim Allen is uh celebrating Halloween or celebrating Christmas. Doesn't it feel

like that with this? I mean, we just did this yesterday, and boy, another year's gone by, and here we're celebrating Christmas yet again. So, pretty pretty fun. Uh so, I'm going to reintroduce This is my brother, Rick, for those that don't know. I went to live with him. This is his son, Travis. Okay? Uh so, I >> Thanks Thanks for the introduction. >> Yeah. >> [laughter] >> I said so many nice things about you. >> What are you going to say tonight? >> [laughter] >> There's a boomer in the room. We have background noise. Look, >> [laughter] >> he he wants to be introduced. Should I introduce you, Joe? Or Okay, so got a special guest here. Uh he doesn't want to sing with us, but this is my brother, Joe. Is that a good

introduction? My brother, Joe. If you read my book, you've met my sister, Mary's been on my channel before. My brother, Rick, is on my channel quite often, and this is my brother, Joe. >> Howdy. All right. Nice to meet you. [laughter] >> Yeah. >> I can carry a sack, but I can't carry a tune, so >> [laughter] >> I'm in the audience. >> He's our He's our heckler. >> Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Yeah, [clears throat] so Anyway, and I do I feel like I always have to set the record straight just really I'm really briefly. I'm one of eight kids. I'm number seven. Uh and there's so many stories. A lot of times people say, "Oh, his dad died. He left him when he was seven. I left my kids." That's not the story. So,

if you're if you want the story, you can read my book. If you haven't read my book, so my mom and dad started out really well. Just want to make sure you understand. My mom and dad were awesome. Unfortunately, things went a little south, and without going into details, my dad left when I was 14, and I went to live with Rick for for a few years. Uh So, anyway, a very big reason why I share my backstory is cuz it's made me the man I am. Not only that, but I don't want you to do what I did. It took me far too long to forgive my dad, and I don't want you to do that. So, don't make that choice. There's that thing that says no man's life is a complete waste. He

can always be used as a bad example. In this case, I was the bad example. It took me just far too long cuz there's freedom for you on the other side of forgiveness. Forgiveness is actually hurting you. Unforgiveness is actually hurting you if you don't forget. So, be quick to forgive. Uh and also on this side of it, it's made me the man that I am and I'm thankful for that cuz it's given me a level of empathy. I remember actually when I was living with Rick and I was kind of chubby as a as a kid, too. And I remember Rick even >> [laughter] >> Hey, who's that heckler? WHO INVITED THAT GUY? >> [laughter] >> SO, I REMEMBER YOU SAYING THIS TO ME. MAYBE you don't remember it cuz you were pretty young

yourself. But you had said that it would um when you see people that maybe have a weight problem, it would give you a little more compassion on those people, right? And I think it that's true. If I can relate cuz it's no fun, you know, >> Being picked on. Being picked on. >> fun to be picked on. Never fun to be picked on. So, So, uh where are you from? Uh that's the next thing. I was going to do a dad joke, but I already did a dad joke. So, uh so, where are you from? That would be cool. I kind of slowed down the the stuff. So, I I apologize. >> If you see a delay in the comments, it's just to kind of so it doesn't get spammed so much and so we

can read them all. >> Yeah. There's a little bit of a delay if you're wondering why. So. >> How many dad jokes do we have? >> Uh I have a lot. Okay. I got Do you have one? You want to use one now? >> I I could if you want. >> Yeah. >> Give me my glasses, yeah. >> Can we sing them? We should just combine uh caroling with dad jokes and just sing dad jokes. >> Cheyenne. Cheyenne, Wyoming. Um our sister lives in Laramie. >> Okay. I I heard that Rudolph's grade point average dropped. >> Why did it drop? He's going down in history. >> [laughter] >> That's good. That's a really good one. >> Somebody from Vietnam. All right. >> Australia. >> Compton, of course. >> Sweet. >> Very cool. >> Compton. >>

[laughter] >> Indonesia. >> Singapore. >> Tennessee. Love Tennessee. Been to Nashville a few times. >> Denmark. [clears throat] Have not been there. >> What do you sit here and read your way >> Yeah, you just spin that globe. >> [laughter] >> I have to keep them in a database. >> Yep. >> [clears throat] >> New York City. Love New York. Been there. My daughter lived there for for a while. >> Wisconsin. Grand Michigan. >> Wisconsin. >> Portugal. Wow. >> Wow. >> Crazy. >> We could just sit here and read those all day. >> Let's do that. [clears throat] We could yeah. >> Okay. So, we're going to start off by singing Jingle Bells. Something a little lighter. Are you ready to sing along [clears throat] with us? >> Yes, sing along. >> We've emphasized this

over and over again. >> Sing. >> Make this fun for all of us. >> We are not good sing back, you know, we're okay. >> We're okay. >> [laughter] >> Some of us are just okay. >> Yeah. >> No, others of us are mediocre. >> [laughter] >> Okay. >> If you can't say something nice, don't say anything. >> [laughter] >> That was something our mom said. >> Right. >> Yep. [snorts] So, we're going to sing Jingle Bells. You ready? Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh. Over the fields we go, laughing all the way. Bells on bobtail ring, making spirits bright. What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight. Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun [singing] it is to ride in a one-horse

open sleigh. Hey. >> Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. >> Oh, what fun is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. A day or two ago, I thought I'd take a ride and soon Miss Fanny Bright was seated by my side. The horse was lean and lame. Misfortune seemed his lot. He got into a drifted bank and then we got upsot. Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Hey, jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. I hope you're >> Yeah, that was fun. >> [laughter] >> We're going to sing one more? >> Let's sing one more. >> Okay, yeah. Rudolph, it's short. >> We we picked

on him and his dropping grade point average. >> So, I I finally figured this out. We're always looking down at our sheets in previous lives and so I thought I so we set the music out in front of us. So, we're kind of looking at the camera a little bit. >> some double chins. >> [laughter] >> And you're going to purse your lips. Okay. >> Oh, we got the intro. Oh my goodness. Okay. >> Rudolph. >> Yeah. >> You [clears throat] know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen, but do you recall [singing] the most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose [singing] and if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to

laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say, "Rudolph, with your nose so [singing] bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Then how the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee. Oh, glee. Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, you'll go down in history. >> And your grade point will stop. >> Like Monopoly. This that. Jinx on that one, by the way. Donut David and Morgana both said like Monopoly. >> Like Monopoly. Like reindeer games. Very good. >> Oh, okay. Got you. >> Like Columbus. >> So, up on the house top, do we got time for that? I'm a little concerned. >> I'll tell the story. >> [laughter] >> I'll tell I'LL TELL THE STORY. I GOT A STORY. I GOT

A STORY ABOUT up on the house top. I just got to share. So, >> Okay. >> I played trombone terribly when I was a kid. Um, and Rick also played the trombone. >> I played [laughter] it worse. >> Rick went before me and then unfortunately I inherited that. So, I was awful. Um, and so up on the house top was a song that we had to sing one year. And I I often share the story of how I played the trombone. It it developed my peripheral vision cuz I would look at the guy out the corner of my eye to see where he was >> [laughter] >> sliding his trombone. So, anyway, my peripheral vision's really good. I can see like >> I'm [laughter] not the best. I'm like nobody better. They actually call me

Mr. Peripheral. >> [laughter] >> You knew that? >> Yeah. So, do you want to sing this or >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Okay, we're going to sing up on the house top. >> You're going to have to carry us. >> And Google Google this or look it up or whatever if you need lyrics up on the house top. You know, go >> Oh yeah, we should kind of give them a a heads up as to what our next song is >> Okay, it's a good time to give you a chance to catch this. Okay, up on the house top the next song is going to be It came upon a midnight clear after this, but we're going to take a little break in between. So Up on the house top reindeer paws, out jumps good old

Santa Claus. [singing] Down through the chimney with lots of toys, all for the little ones Christmas joys. Ho ho ho, who wouldn't go? Ho ho ho, who wouldn't go? Up on the house top click click click, down through the chimney with good Saint Nick. First comes the stocking of little Nell. Oh dear Santa, fill it well. Here is a hammer and lots of tacks, also a ball and a whip that cracks. Ho ho ho, who wouldn't go? Ho

ho ho, who wouldn't go? Up on the house top click click click, down through the chimney with good Saint Nick. Up on the house top click click click, down through the chimney with good Saint Nick. >> [laughter] >> Buy the album now. >> While you've got the chance. >> Okay, we do have giveaways. So we need somebody to draw a name. So, let's start and we'll save this one for the last. >> And happy birthday, by the way. Happy birthday. There's a lot of birthday shout-outs. Happy birthday. >> Somebody happy birthday to somebody. We missed the name, but happy birthday. >> Happy birthday, Richard. I think I saw somebody. Okay. So, for the first one, Travis. >> Yes. >> Travis has got a $25 >> $25 Amazon Amazon gift card, but I'm going to sign

it. It's going to be worth It's going to be worth I'm going to >> way more. >> I'm going to write on the back. >> I draw on Travis. >> You don't You don't want to use that. >> want to rip this thing just the way it is with his signature on it. >> [laughter] >> That might be worth something someday. Uh Kelly A. Proctor. >> Kelly. >> Yeah, Kelly. Yeah, Kelly. Hopefully, you're watching. >> Oh, um two Kellys. >> We'll just want to make sure to keep them together cuz we can rewatch to >> Yeah, I got it here. >> That's a good idea. >> Okay, and another giveaway, Rick. >> Oh. I hate to follow Travis cuz mine's only worth 20 bucks. >> [laughter] >> But you have several. >> I have I

only brought one. He brought one. >> I have more. I have more. >> Uh it's a um for Mr. Jeff Mueller. >> Jeff Mueller. >> Yes. >> $20 Home Depot card. >> Ooh, Home Depot. >> be sent to you. >> Okay. Thank you. >> And he picked So, I'll say real quick. He picked a Marshmallow World. There's some people that picked uh Mary, Did You Know? Um some other songs. Those have copyright issues. I I can't sing it. >> And that's And that's why we're not singing them. >> [laughter] >> I probably can't even see the title. >> And Last Christmas was another one that was requested, but those have copyright issues. So, we can't sing them. We also can't sing them. So. >> [laughter] >> So, there is that. >> There Yeah, that's our

excuse. >> I did notice that that uh they said Rick's is worth more. >> well. >> A little more legible. >> It's on eBay. >> It probably is more legible, for sure. >> Okay. So, real quick, we're going to catch up with Rick and what's been happening in your life. What And then one of the things I thought would be fun was to share a Christmas memory and then a Christmas verse that means something to you. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Um Well, quite a few things happened this year. Uh I turned 70. >> Yay. >> I turned 70. >> Okay. Yeah. [applause] >> I don't look a day over 80. >> [laughter] >> Correct. >> Um plus we did a lot of travel, my wife Karen and I. Uh we went to had a

get-together at Stateline with a group of our extended family. Cousins and what have you. Uh Travis and Jamie and his family, uh Jacqueline and Cain. >> Half of the family. Half of the family. >> Uh we went to Hawaii together in the summer and his wife, I mean his daughter, Madden got married. >> Yep. >> And probably still is on yours. Rob's uh son got married to >> Oh, stealing some of his. >> Stealing mine. >> Yeah. Yep. >> Well, we had to travel We had to travel We went to you see I started a Bible study fellowship uh for the first time and that's been really good and I've enjoyed the heck out of that. Um Lots of great Christmas childhood memories that I have. But >> Are you going to steal mine? >>

No, probably not because I'm actually going to go with a different one. Joe's here. When I was in the hospital 13 years ago for my transplant, it was right around Christmas time when I had leukemia and I had a transplant. My brother Don was a really good match. But I mean I remember that it was during I kind of was in the hospital through Christmas into the new year and family all came to around me. I was blessed with a awesome family. A lot of people didn't have that. Kind of kind of sad. But for me I I did and and so it was great. And my sister Lori brought in the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Uh it was just this little thing and had the little nativity scene with the Charlie Brown characters. And

that's why I had that. I got to look at while I was laying in bed. And then Joe brought in those uh uh ornaments to hang on it and we still got this at home. So Karen brings that out every year. So that's uh kind of really special um memory. And then the Seahawks came and couple I met a couple of them. They came in there. >> Go Hawks. Yeah. Did you see that win the other night? That was awesome. Um and my uh my Christmas verse, there's so many. And you know, I was going to say >> [clears throat] >> I'm unashamedly a Christian. I I love it. I love Jesus and and what he's done for me and the future that I have because of him. Um and if you're interested at some

point, you know, if you hear it, you hear it. You don't, you don't. Um but there's you should check out uh The Case for Christ. Um and and you can see the prophecies fulfilled. There's a lot of prophecies fulfilled in Jesus' birth. Just so I'm going to throw that out there. Um but anyway, it's Galatians 4 4 and 5. Uh it says, "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive the adoption as sons." I'm done. >> Okay. >> Very nice. Thank you. Okay, we're going to sing some more songs. Thanks, Rick. So, yeah. >> We [clears throat] let him know it came I'm sorry. Yeah, go ahead. What then

what's the next one we're going to sing? >> We're going to sing It came upon a midnight clear and then after that we're going to sing O Little Town of Bethlehem. All right. Ready? >> Yes. >> Ready. >> It came [singing] upon the midnight clear. >> That glorious song [singing] of old from angels bending near the earth to touch their hearts of gold. Peace on the earth, goodwill to men from heaven's all gracious king. The world [singing] in solemn stillness lay to hear the angels sing. Still through the [singing] cloven skies they come with peaceful wings [singing] unfurled. And still their heavenly music floats o'er all the weary world. Above its sad and lowly plain they bend on hovering wing. And ever o'er its Babel sounds the blessed angels sing. And ye [singing] beneath life's

crushing load whose forms are bending low who toil along the climbing way with painful steps and slow. Look now for glad and golden hours come swiftly on the wing. Oh, rest beside the weary road and hear the angels sing. >> Awesome. >> [clears throat] >> Brazil, India, and somebody loves Case for Christ. Nice. Kazakhstan. Nice. >> Yeah. >> Okay, we were doing another song, right? >> Travis and Rob and I have sung beside each other in church a lot and so we've kind of learned how to harmonize cuz Morgana gave us a nice compliment. Thank you, Morgana. >> Thank you. You must be >> And you might want to get your hearing checked. >> [laughter] >> You might say THAT I'M MUTE. >> OKAY, O LITTLE Town of Bethlehem. Are we going to do that?

>> Yeah, we let them know, right? >> Yeah, okay. >> A Little Town of Bethlehem. >> [clears throat] >> Ready? >> Yeah. >> O Little Town [singing] of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie. Above thy deep and [singing] dreamless sleep, the silent stars go by. Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting light. [singing] The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight. For Christ is born [singing] of Mary and gathered all above While mortals sleep, the angels keep their watch of wondering love. O morning stars together proclaim thy holy birth. And praises sing to God the King, and peace to men on earth. How silently, [singing] how silently the wondrous gift is given. So God imparts to human [singing] hearts the blessings of his heaven. No ear may hear

his coming, but in this world of sin, where meek souls will receive him still, the dear Christ enters in. O holy Child of Bethlehem, descend [clears throat] to us, we pray. Cast out our sin [singing] and enter in, be born in us today. We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell. O come to us, abide with us, our Lord Emmanuel. >> Nice. >> Yeah. >> You can give yourself a >> Give [applause] yourself a hand. >> I'm sure you sounded good. >> Okay, so O Holy Night, and I said I would give a shout out to the people that requested songs cuz this is a song we haven't sung before, and we're just going to sing the beginning of it cuz for for time. >> First three words. >> [laughter] >> Holy night.

We're done. Uh Kelly A. Proctor and Kim Wilson requested O Holy Night. So, we're going to sing just the beginning of that. And then, should I let them know what next song is after that? Silent Night is coming up. Okay, ready? O holy [singing] night, the stars are brightly shining. [singing] It is the night of our dear savior's birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining [singing] till he appeared and the soul [singing] felt its worth. A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees. [singing] O hear the angel voices. [singing] O night divine, O night when Christ was born. O night, [singing] O holy night, O night divine. Divine. >> That was a tough [laughter] song. We started OUT STRONG. >>

WE STARTED OUT THAT ENDING IS TOUGH. >> [laughter] >> I DON'T KNOW WHY WE DIDN'T sing the second >> I hats off to anybody who can sing that well. >> Yeah. With a cold. >> [laughter] >> So, those were those. Okay, so that will be after this. So, we're going to >> Adam, shut up. Brother Adam Kenny. >> Adam Kenny >> Cora >> great >> Miss Adam. We miss Adam. >> Yeah, we miss you. >> Cora is Adam's 20-month-old 20 >> What was it again? >> You're funny. He's 20-year-old. >> Anyway, almost >> Almost 22 years 22 years 22 months >> [laughter] >> Yeah. >> Morgana says I love my painting. Yeah, last year Amy came and saw us. We actually went somewhere and performed. >> [laughter] >> Performed you call that? >> And Adam

gave gave away a painting. So, >> He's going to give away a print, too. I forgot to tell you that. >> Oh. >> Here? Yeah, you know, as far as the giveaway. Yeah. >> Oh, okay. Well, we need to add that. >> Can I put my name in for that? >> [laughter] >> So, we did that and that. Okay. >> He's going to give away a print. >> Jack, I'm I'm saying hi to my daughter. >> Their choice. >> My daughter Jacqueline, she said I wish I was there and maybe next year. Maybe next year. But, she's watching live. So, hi Jacqueline. >> Hi Jacqueline. >> We miss you for the the singing. >> Okay, so where are we at? >> We're going to catch up with Travis. >> Catch up with Travis. >> Yeah,

you can tell a dad joke. You want to start with a >> Let me tell a dad joke real quick. Uh What did I'm making this one up. I'm refining it. I said What was I going to do? BUT, I'M GOING TO DO IT. [laughter] OKAY. OKAY, WHAT did Santa say to the reindeer that said they wouldn't go down the chimney with him cuz he was going to deliver the presents. What did they What did he say to the the reindeer? They're like, "No, we're not going to go with you, Santa." What did Santa say to him or to them? >> They're naughty. >> NO IDEA. >> SUIT YOURSELF. CUZ IT'S SOOT. SO, soot yourself. SOOT YOURSELF. >> [laughter] >> ACTUALLY, YOU KNOW WHAT? NO, THEY WOULDN'T say that to him cuz he is sooting

himself. >> Oh, no, he said they said >> They didn't say him. >> Soot yourself. >> Soot soot yourself. >> That's good. >> That's actually pretty good. >> Okay. Travis, I miss the podcast with you so much. You make me belly laugh. Shout out to Morgana. One more time. One more time for top fan, number one. >> [laughter] >> All right. So, Yeah. So, I'm going to I'm going to bring you down just for a little bit. We've had a crazy past few weeks Washington state with rains and winds and and crazy stuff. Um I do have a podcast called Full Body Cast. It's all one word. Find it anywhere. Anyway, uh and the reason I mentioned that is because there's a GoFundMe on there. Uh one of my co-hosts, his wife's parents, uh they

lost their home in a mudslide. And he built that home back in 1976. Not my friend, the the hit you know, the the the person that the dad. And uh they lost their home. They got buried in it. They had to get They had to actually It's kind of miraculous how they were able to like avoid pretty much probably being killed in it. So, um possible bills all of that. So, there's a GoFundMe there um on my Facebook page or go to uh my personal one. I'm public and then or Travis can or uh Facebook uh Full Body Cast. GoFundMe if you want to give. If you, you know, any every little bit helps. So, for medical bills and the home. So, um got to say that. Appreciate that. >> Yeah, we've had some tough

rains here, for sure. Yeah, our the valley here, we live up on the hill, but in the valley, boy, it was flooded. Some levees gave way and so, it's kind of all over this whole area. >> Yeah, it's pretty devastating, for sure. Um For the for the year, the the the recap real quick. Uh every like you said, every year is just awesome. You just There's more life happens, more you experience more, and and it it's just nice to be here for another year. Um me and my wife we celebrated our 10-year anniversary >> Amen. >> and that was pretty cool. >> Nice. >> And and then my daughter Madden got married in August, and so I was able to get a son-in-law too with Braden, and it was a great time. Everyone here was

there and you guys but they were. And and so shout out them. My daughter Megan moved back in. She's 20 with and so, you know, she moves out and you kind of miss that as a parent. Oh, and Cain will be graduating this year next year, so we'll recap that next year. Shout out Jacqueline. Hey Jacqueline, good to see you. Happy that you're home. Wish you were here. Um soccer. This was the year where it was like first organized year of soccer. How's this going to go? I'm going to tell quick story. She came back first practice in August. 15 minutes in Dad, I've already cried twice. She wanted to give up. I said "Finish the practice. You can do this." She caught fire there. She is missed defender, kicks the ball, boots the ball. >> Both feet. >> At the same time. At the same time. It's amazing. >>

So, let that be Yeah. Yeah, she looks like a >> [laughter] >> Um but no, she So, so that's encouragement for everyone out there that if it's at first like, "Oh my gosh, this doesn't fit for me. I don't I don't like this." She loves it. In fact, yesterday she's kicking the ball and she's going, "When's I I wish we had played soccer." I said, "Spring ball's coming up." She didn't even know there was spring ball. She was She was thrilled. So, encouragement for you. And then quick shout-out to my brother-in-law Chris and uh and Sandy. Uh "Bye, I'm going to play on my iPad." Okay. So, uh >> [laughter] >> But no, >> This has turned into Travis live. >> Oh, so so so sorry. You invited me, pal. Uh okay, so here is the verse. It's in uh It's in 2 Timothy um Actually, sorry, it's 1 Timothy. And I know it's supposed to be a Christmas verse, but it's the reason Jesus came and uh And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in

glory. So, that's the reason we celebrate Jesus um and he is the answer uh, to everything. So. >> Nice. >> Yep. >> Okay, we should do a couple more giveaways. >> Okay. >> I forgot about that. I kind of skipped those, so. Uh. You Why don't you do one, Rick? We'll do one of yours. Hark the

herald angels sing, "Glory [singing] to the newborn king." >> Nice job. We mastered >> I learned that a couple years ago. >> We Yeah, we >> [laughter] >> It took us years. >> WE'VE DONE WORSE. >> WE'VE BEEN PRACTICING ALL YEAR. >> paused bringing this message. >> Hi Cora. How are you? Hi Cora. >> [laughter] >> What's popping to him? He's going crazy. >> All right. >> Okay, so that was that. Two more giveaways. So, you want to give away one more, Rick? >> Yeah, yeah. He prints very well too. Okay I'll do another one too. I got another $25 Amazon gift card. Uh Peach Mangagopaijabi How come I get the difficult? >> You do. >> [laughter] >> Peach Mango Pie >> Man

There's two G's though. >> Mang Mang Mangagopai >> And what is this a 25? >> That's 25. That's 25. So we got Amazon and then these are the last two then. >> I do need to shout out so I said before with the songs you requested. Sound of the night was actually requested by Ask Miss Patience. Amanda Ashby Aristides and Peach Mangagopaijabi >> And then shout out Marsh Marshmallow Eyes. I subscribed back when the channel went viral years back. So happy to see you and still keep it going. Happy holidays to you and yours. This is very sweet. >> Thank you. Yeah. >> Yeah so we're going to going [clears throat] to catch up with me a little bit now. I got I'm going to probably going to be a little bit longer here, but

just so last year was pretty amazing. I'm like I've shared on my channel enough times, stepping out of your comfort zone, uh if you if you knew me before I would avoid public speaking at all costs. And but I keep getting asked to publicly speak, and so I'm kind of just doing it. Um so I in February, Kathy Pierce Morris invited me to go speak in Hutchinson, Kansas, um which is actually really close to where my mom was born. Pretty Prairie is really close to Hutchinson, Kansas. And so I spoke at their community college in front of 800 people. So that was terrifying and yet exhilarating, so trying to, you know, I'm encouraging you to get out of your comfort zone, and so I'm having to also get out of my comfort zone. Uh and

then March I discovered pickleball. Love pickleball now. I'm hooked. I'm hooked. Uh April, my wife and I went to Spain, um which was amazing. And then in May, we went to Sweden. I was invited again to speak in Sweden at Brilliant Minds. It was a conference over there in Sweden. Um >> How'd you get into that? >> I was I asked them that. >> [laughter] >> When I was there, I'm like, "Are you sure you got THE RIGHT GUY?" THEY SAID THEY SAID, "WELL, what you're doing is brilliant." So I said, "Well, thank you. I can I'll take that." And so anyway, I spoke in front of 300 young people out there in Stockholm. And on our way, we stopped at London, which is amazing. That first time in London. That was very cool. Uh

and I met Tom Brady, which is kind of cool. That was pretty fun little exchange. >> [laughter] >> Very nice man. I just got to say. He's just very when I spoke with him, made eye contact with me, actually listened to what I had to say, wasn't you know, wasn't arrogant. Very nice guy. With all that guy has accomplished, shout out to him. >> Yeah, nice. >> So. Um I had emergency gallbladder surgery in August, which wasn't fun. So >> Tom, actually. >> It's not related. I don't blame >> [laughter] >> Tom. So, that was tough. I just had really bad pain in my back and then I'm like, I got to go to the hospital. And then by the time we're getting there, my wife's driving me and I'm like, I'm really this is

not good. Uh and so when I got there, I said, they said, "How's your pain?" Normally, I'm fairly tolerant of pain. I said, "10 out of 10. 10 out of 10. Please give me something." >> [laughter] >> And they were they were like, "Well, we need you know, do do do. We're going to check your blood pressure, do these different things." I'm like, "I need something to kill the pain." And then I started to pass out even. Um and then I cuz it was it was that thing where they say, "Oh, we don't really have any rooms yet." Oh, yeah, we have a room. Cuz they saw how how bad I really was cuz I was ready to pass out. Um so anyway, thankfully everything's all good. Got my gallbladder removed and yeah, much better

now. Uh and then in October, my son Kyle got married to Kristen. Um and so that was that was pretty fun. >> Yeah, shout out Kyle. >> So, a whole bunch of us went out to DC and that was pretty pretty fun. >> A lot of fun. >> Sorry about last week in fantasy football, Kyle. I had to just say that right >> [laughter] >> Hopefully Kyle's watching, my son. >> He just turned it off. >> [laughter] >> In fairness, he is he's flying out here. So, we're going to see him and Kristen and they're going to spend Christmas with us. So, he might be on on his way already. Uh and then I got a preview of 2026, what's happening. My wife and I will celebrate our 35th anniversary. So >> [applause and cheering]

>> Shout out to us. >> [laughter] >> Uh and we're going to be visiting Egypt. So, that's going to be fun. >> Wow. >> Um and then I've been talking about this for a while and trying to figure out how to how to start it off, how to kick it off. And I have I've met a good friend of mine and he's become a good friend. His name's Abdu Murray. And he's very well known as a Christian apologist and we talked we've been talking a little bit and I just I'd like to be able to start a new series and one of the things we're going to do we're going to talk about dealing with tough questions cuz there's you know there's more than life than unclogging a sink or you know doing stuff around

the house the existential questions like I I I for me it boils down to where did I come from? Why am I here and where am I going? I think those three questions are important to answer especially at a even better at a young age but as you get older I think they're important things to think about and so we're just going to have discussions and it's going to be open and just talk about different things. Uh and we're going to start off by talking about AI cuz we're all dealing with AI. Right? And how do you determine what's real or fake or what's true or false? Right? And so it's just going to be they're going to be like 10-minute segments and we're just going to talk about some stuff that we're probably all

dealing with. So and those will come out on Sundays. So I want to be sensitive to the fact that not everybody's Christian. But I hopefully you feel welcome enough to kind of sit in on our conversation and you know hopefully it'll spur kind of spur some thought for you. So. Uh and then in April I'm speaking at another event in Houston that I've been invited to do. So I'm going to go do that which is always as it as it gets closer and closer my heart rate goes up. So but it's good. So a Christmas memory I thing I thought of is we always love to watch the Christmas movies. So hopefully you guys get in the spirit like that. Um [clears throat] we always watch Rudolph and you know the Grinch and Santa Claus

is coming to town and all those were always something we always look forward to. Now you can stream them. You know, when we were kids, it was like, "Okay, Rudolph's going to be on on Thursday night at 8:00. We got We got to be all around so we can watch it cuz you if you don't watch it, you you miss it. You miss it that year." Um and so uh Charlie Brown Christmas was always uh cool for me. I always liked Charlie Brown Christmas. And they actually included a verse, and so that's going to be the verse I'm going to share. Uh Linus says cuz Charlie Brown's struggling with what Christmas is all about, right? And so he says, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, for unto you is born

this day in the city of David a savior, which is Christ the Lord." "And suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.'" This passage explains the true meaning of Christmas to a confused Charlie Brown. I didn't mean to say that, but he does >> [laughter] >> He did say, "That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown." Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Anyway. >> Yeah. >> There was a question by uh >> Yeah. >> Will that just be on YouTube or on Instagram for the >> Your new thing you're going to be doing? >> It'll uh planning to do it on YouTube cuz it'll be about 10 minutes, and it'll be on Sundays. So, it's just

going to be YouTube. I might port uh point people towards it so people know that they can come there and just cuz we're just going to talk about life, you know, as you get older, too, especially I feel like as you get older, it's like >> Mhm. >> you got to answer to these questions. They're they're just too um important. So. >> And then opera >> What? >> I'm singing at church today, so I have to go, but thanks for being on today. It's the anniversary of my dad's death, and it's been a lot. Uh hey, uh sing your heart out, and uh sorry sorry about today, but you know. >> Yeah, but Jesus came to give him a future. Give all of us. >> Yeah, somebody asked, "Have you watched The House of David?"

I have not, or The Chosen. Uh One One thing I'll say about The Chosen, I I I I like it. The only thing that concerns me is it allows liberty to be able to add things. >> Artistic expression. >> Yeah, yeah, which can be good cuz it can kind of fill stuff in but there you can you can add things. That's the only thing and I've I've shared that with some friends of mine they're like you're like you can't I can I can appreciate it but I just it just seems like >> It brings people to read the Bible on forward. Read read it for yourself, you know. >> Right, to make sure >> Yeah. >> you're it's accurate. >> Make sure everything's accurate. >> Um so I want to do some dad jokes actually.

>> I got I got two more on >> I got I got to close. Let's see here. >> I made up my own. >> Uh-oh. >> Rapid fire. >> I made up one more. >> Rapid fire. We got yeah. >> All right. What happened to the man who stole the advent calendar? >> Struck with struck by lightning. >> Uh he got 25 days. >> You win. >> [laughter] >> It's 3 days. >> Good job. Uh What do you call a snowman with a six-pack? >> Me. >> [laughter] >> Uh >> Oh my goodness. >> snowman with a six-pack >> Abdominable abdominable snowman. Okay, I'll leave it at that cuz we're out of time. >> Hey, wait wait. I made this one up. >> Yeah. >> What caused what caused the scratches on the fireplace after

Christmas? >> What what causes the scratches? >> caused the scratches on the fireplace after Christmas? >> Uh Santa's foot getting stuck doing He's trying to do the the swim out. >> SANTA CLAUS. >> [laughter] >> UH WHAT DO YOU CALL AN ELF WEARING EARMUFFS? Anything you want to he can't hear you. [laughter] Where did you come UP WITH THAT? >> NO, I DIDN'T. >> OH, THAT'S A GOOD ONE. >> I KNOW THAT'S >> [laughter] >> GOOD. >> I LIKE that one. >> I like that, too. >> Ah, that's good. >> Oh, yeah. >> [laughter] >> You know what? Your way is good. Your way is done. >> What? >> Your way is done. >> No, I was going to do Oh, you know what? We should do that before we sing cuz we're going to

sing 12 Days of Christmas, which is always a lot of fun. Uh and we're going to each do a part and we asked Joe to sing, but he said, "No, thank you." Uh so, that's fine. I was going to do a giveaway. So, >> [laughter] >> Are we going to do a giveaway? Yeah, we should do a giveaway to wrap that up. >> Um yep. No Christmas Is it your level? >> Yeah. I got a torpedo level for somebody and it's pretty handy to have, magnetic. And you know, you got to level a little shelf or something, it comes in handy. >> They work great. I have like three of them. >> Vertical, 45. >> Stir your coffee. >> It's too far to [laughter] grab something with it. >> Travis can stir his coffee with

it. Okay. >> Chuck it to somebody. >> All right. You're going to pick that What's that? Yeah, you're going to draw that. Okay. >> Here's one stuck underneath the TV there. >> peace.ribbon.agba. >> Agba, okay. Okay, that's who won that one. >> Okay, there you go. >> Thank you. >> Actually, did I do that? I know that I did. So, let me just do the I'll just do the big >> We've got two We've got two Amazon rods. >> Oh, you already do. Okay, so I didn't do that. Okay, good. Okay, and then the last one is a $50 Amazon card. >> Whoa, $50? You're making us look cheap. >> [laughter] >> Uh let's see. Drum roll, please. >> Jack will go, "Let me see, Joe." >> [laughter] >> Ask Miss Patience. >> Oh, that

was just on there. >> Yeah, she's been on there. >> Nice. >> $50 Amazon. >> Hello from Russia. >> Russia, very cool. Yeah. >> Glad you're here.
