002shortly so another year blown by crazy that we're already another year you know we'll be coming up on five years with that how do I in April uh I can't even believe it this is just uh right time just flies so um so I'm gonna reintroduce these guys so in case you haven't met them or don't know who they are uh this is my brother Rick he's the one that I went to live with when I was younger and these are his two boys young men men and old man now that I'm looking atavis that makes me even older slow down they're still young so yeah Travis and then Adam and so I thought first before I talk about myself uh well Rick can share what how the year's gone anything to share okay um
003actually I thought about this I'm gonna turn it to Adam because he had the most exciting news this year and I thought about this I was actually going to turn it right back to my dad just kidding uh yes I had my first child my daughter kaora and she's you might hear her make some chirps and noises but yeah it's been a very exciting year a Sleepless year in some ways but a very very fun and satisfying and exciting year for for my wife Amber and I with Kora yeah she's 10 months old now she was born on my birthday actually February 18th so yeah send presents it's only a couple months away yeah um other than that um let's see I we uh lost a nephew this year hate to start off that way
004but it's reality uh he was a great guy and U think of his his wife Kyla and and uh his mom and dad uh dealing with that but um but it's all good and I was uh work we some of us brothers were working on a uh Greenhouse for uh his wife that's what our nephew Luke wanted to have done for her and in the process I modified my hand so um that's the big news I guess for me and then we had a a big uh get together with a family reunion so it's been a really a really uh adventurous year a lot of fun and congratulations on making firefighter whoever that guy was good job that's it okay I didn't lose a finger um I kept all mine uh that's because Rick does
005all of Travis's work that's true so Travis doesn't never put himself in Jeopardy yeah yeah it's uh he's wise he's gonna start he started his own channel dad will do you or will you do that's mine where he goes and does it Dad call him dad will will you do this Dad can you can you please sure uh but uh pretty fun stuff this year uh you know obviously Adam the first time for me becoming an uncle so that's pretty sweet and a Godfather toora my mom turned 70 and we were able to go to have a nice trip for her that was a lot of fun um then also my daughter Madden who's my oldest got engaged so she'll be married in 2025 uh my daughter Megan uh she's moving back home soon that's
006excited for 2025 my son is a junior gonna be a senior he's working hard love love the guy is great guy and then also Jacqueline is eight she's a third grader she just won a polite award went to assembly and she got awarded that and then uh thank you to um Paulie for letting me wear this sweet Christmas sweater that I borrowed as well so anyway not not long winded at all like I said we might be going an hour and a half yeah we knows good job Wendy on your singing your school's uh reward ceremony way to go and and and Jamie my wife I should mention her she's she's great and I've got a wife too the turned 70 oh my gosh okay I mentioned oh you okay wait a cover for me
007uh so real real quick before I talk about a few things um so we are gonna sing some Christmas carols Travis found this website called Christmas songs and carol.com where you can find the lyrics to the so rather than try to print out a whole bunch of lyrics or whatever you can go there and if you want to sing along uh and then I also thought some of the wisdom I learned this year is that if you don't know how to do something just post about how to do it and you'll get a million opinions on how to do it that's what I learned you know so barbecuing if uh don't call a grill a barbecue because you will get pushed back it's apparently it's not a barbecue even though if you look it up

010lost it's it's honorable to remember them but it's also you honor them by continuing to live your life too you know I I know if I passed I would want people to continue to live their lives um and not be stuck uh yeah in a f and we are we are celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus changes everything yeah so anyway so um I I didn't want to bring bring it all down but it is you know I think it's important to get real and understand that this is a tough time for people as well Christmas can be a difficult time as you remember some of the people that you've lost um so but they want you to carry on right yeah right so so I I will share about my year I turned
01160 this year so that was uh a little bit difficult I know uh but but it was good we also went to a lot of different places I went to PTO viarta I went to Paris went to Greece Washington DC a couple times my son's out in DC went to Pittsburgh and Chicago and now we're back here I have amazing sponsors I do got to mention them um just because they're so uh so good to what I'm what I'm able to do um and I do only work with people that I feel like I could feel good um me recommending them to my own kids I get offers all the time and I just got I feel like I gotta say this enough times because people ah dad sold out ah I'm not selling out

058better way more power to you just trying to help you to yeah to get the confidence to be able to do things for yourself so because it feels good you know you do a little bit and then you try something else and then wow I did that too and you feel pretty good feels feels good to be able to be self sufficient and be able to do things for yourself because there are a lot of things that you should be able to do yourself too and like a mechanic charging for an air filter to put an air filter in a in your car you should be able to do that yourself probably save you hundred bucks so a lot of little things like that that you can do for yourself if you're going to rewire
059your house I would hire an electrician for that though so uh but there are a lot of things you can do yourself and again it helps you throughout your life to be able to learn little B steps and boy I did that maybe I can do this and then pretty soon you know you step out of your comfort zone and you start doing things you never imagine that you'd be doing so hopefully understand that that's what what I'm hoping to do with my channel and these guys too I'm sure they're we're all on the same page there just trying to encourage people to to be the best people that they can be and then when you like I shared before when you learn something have compassion on somebody that maybe doesn't know you know be
