003you're right we don't call it a loo but I have enough people across the world okay uh so I thought there's a few things I wanted to do we'll do this for about a half hour probably I just want to kind of reconnect with all of you guys um thank you for all the comments we'll spend some time kind of seeing where you guys are from but uh I thought it might be kind of fun but unfortunately Travis isn't here I was gonna kind of start off by checking in with you guys to see how you're doing and what you got going on in your lives and then I wanted to share have you share but maybe we'll put that off should I should I wait for since Travis isn't here sure sure uh so

005even in you know just a little small way in in the best to the best of my ability I'm certainly not perfect but um just try to do the best I can to try to you know and nobody is right um so it's yeah just trying to be faithful to you um so I'm gonna go ahead and jump ahead uh and kind of tell you what my announcement was since Travis isn't here um as you've seen I've been getting a lot more sponsorships and I've got a lot of good things kind of exciting things coming up in the new year so I am actually um going to start doing this full-time uh in the new year uh and so end of this month I'm actually I've given my notice so it was scary uh to
006do that and that's why I've held on to my job because I've been doing that job for 30 years and you know um hopefully it's a good example for you that you got to be careful you know be cautious about if something looks amazing maybe it's not and I don't want the rug pulled out from underneath me and my wife you know we're close to retirement and so but I feel like there's enough it's really thanks to all of you that have shown interest in what I'm doing and so uh thank you I just want to give you a heartfelt thank you because this uh it took a lot of prayer and a lot of uh you know a little scary but I feel like I uh I have enough of a strong foundation in

012to the front end okay that's right that's right but I do have a fast pass that's good okay so let's start with Adam yeah how are you doing what do you got going on doing good I am no I teach at Seattle Pacific University I teach painting and this quarter top color studies and so uh just been grading a lot quarter's over figuring that out I've been getting new art on my website adamkennyart.com I've got a new uh snowy Shell station from Issaquah very nice Washington Shell station there yeah so did a painting of that so I've got stuff going on my website I'm actually doing a similar thing to you uh where I after this month Adam how do I so check it out riding your coattails um no but I'm uh after this
013month my my main source of work is Shifting to where I won't be doing that as much and so I'm going to be focusing more on painting and getting my own sort of artwork business going tonight that's kind of where I'm at right now nice a little scary it's a little scary yeah it is yes yeah so good and what a gift that you received do you think is it funny or not really I don't gosh actually what is kind of funny is the first thing I thought of was our grandpa Gene used to always give us the same thing which was a pair of jeans with uh with like a 20 bill in the pocket and I always found that pretty boring very proud it was very nice and I needed those jeans my
014favorite gift was probably a Super Nintendo when I was a kid though yeah we would have a grandpa called grandpa Super Nintendo yeah because Grandpa Gene got us jeans that's my Norm Macdonald you were practicing these in the car these words [Music] before we move on I just got to thank Annalee because she my wife Anna Lee she uh did all this decorations last night she was up uh kind of late night um yeah making sure that we looked presentable so thank you you know uh okay so Rick uh what am I doing yeah well I'm retired uh but I am a retired uh cabinet maker and uh Carpenter uh sort of more of a cabinet maker I made these cabinets and uh somebody was asking in the past why they didn't have any handles
015that's for a they open up and go back in pocket doors right over here that's on this on that thing anyway well yeah I've got matching hats we do love Karen had me wear this rather than a stocking pack but um my wife Karen is uh at home I don't know if she's watching this or not maybe not but hi Karen anyway hopefully Karen again chime in um and so uh I still do some stuff on the side you know just not much but uh so I just got finished doing a little uh little job for a gal and then the old neighbor of ours and I'm building or right now I'm making some walking sticks I've never made one before but I had a guy at church approached me and uh like out of
016like a tree branch you know but I I'm kind of that's you gotta go find the right tree branch so I'm actually making mine out of regular wood that's glued up and oh they're gonna be a little fancier I think maybe but anyway um yeah that's it uh going to church enjoying life so awesome and then okay favorite gift did you ever need anything I've got Christmas people actually give stuff so but you have an account well I've gotten so many good gifts for me always doesn't have to be a good gift because these are your kids they are you know you don't want to choose yeah right no that's true but um I'll tell you honestly what popped into my mind was a Roy Rogers watch uh Ray Rogers and so I thought that

020my first big gift I got Mom The Fountain the little trickling water yeah yeah I still got that yeah I got you a one of those like uh massaging things that you would you would lay on your chair right like right back in my neck yeah somebody has said what's it called um and it is we do try to have a good time we try to share something valuable too we try to work in something uh but a lot of times it's just maybe we don't have anything valuable to say hang in there you're just yeah you might you know listen five episodes maybe you might hear one thing that you can walk away no I'm joking but it's kind of hanging out with us and uh we do try to have a good time
021when we make fun of Travis a lot yeah um so Mike my Christmas uh story this is kind of funny um when I was a kid if anybody this just dates me I was making fun of Rick for being old but Lucille Ball so I Love Lucy in the last century yeah yeah yeah right uh so she did this commercial on this thing called pivot pool there was a mini pool table and she made such a big deal out of it and I was like I want that pivot pool I Gotta Have It uh and then you know we were from a big family and we didn't have a whole lot of money and so I was really surprised when I actually got it and then when I got it and then I opened it
022up and like and then it's like this pretty hokey yeah it was this thing that pivoted on a small pool table and had a spring on it and yet you shot the the pool ball with a little button yeah oh yeah yeah I remember that now yep pretty hokey but anyway yeah sure that was kind of kind of funny it was my first uh experience with false advertising maybe or somebody hyping something up yeah and then go what this is it so wow ah what else do we got going on in wisdom here yeah right see and it stuck with me so uh helping me fix my sink dad you're welcome yep nice you're welcome uh so uh let's see so I'm gonna be I I have a lot of uh I was thinking about
023this I have a lot of baking tutorials coming up it's just it's the season for baking and so um and I was wondering you know I see a lot of baking tutorials where they put the camera on it and they whip it out in a minute uh but I thought my channel I think is a little more than that so I'm Gonna Keep mine a little longer where I'm hanging out with you and just showing you how I cook different things um I want to do my mom's Christmas cookies I'm going to show that and I got some um let's let's see Mexican wedding cakes Russian tea cakes they're same thing um probably plan on doing that I want to do pumpkin bread I've done banana bread gonna do pumpkin bread uh so just be
