010I apologize for not continuing the painting Series so what happened this is a dad faux pas um I try when I tried to record it with Adam uh the third in the series uh the editing is just too too difficult for Dad because I had two cameras going and Adam's heads cut off in one and then I'm cut off in the other and trying to mix those two and I don't have the bandwidth and I'm I'm the editor so as you probably know I'm the editor based on the the editing so uh anyway so there won't be another well maybe maybe there will be but if with the understanding that it may not be the greatest editing So Adam accepts my apology so here is my painting though so that's how my painting came out
011with Adam uh if you saw the original it wouldn't be so amazing so what we were painting from Adams was way better but I mean for a first time not bad yeah and then this is one I did without Adam that I tried and again if you saw what the Bob Ross original was supposed to look like compared to this now I painted so as long as you don't compare it's amazing I painted this book cover that was mine um blindfold okay so anyway that's why I haven't done the third one it's just uh yeah it would have been just too hard what we don't get to see the painting you get to see the painting right there that was earlier oh I'm sorry I'm sorry yeah looks like a picture thank you very much

013to count your blessings instead because I think all of us can kind of you know mind trip I guess where you're kind of thinking about the bad stuff if you dwell on the good stuff boy there's so much to be thankful for uh so and I do think it's odd though that my my viewership is a little low when my subscriber count continues to grow and so behind the scenes there is uh people are still viewing a lot of my older stuff so I do get the views on that the newer stuff I think it's important to continue to put out stuff that I think is valuable to people so that one day they may need that they might not need it right then but they may need it down the road so like filling

041it's uh for what I've what I have come to learn is it's it's better for me to have just be the listener in to my daughter and have her just kind of like when anytime it's good or bad or whatever and I'm just listening and listening but then I can also help like her kind of understand a a man's brain because I think there's a point where she's also coming to me she's trying to figure out like why why is he wanting to hang out with his friends all the time you know and it's like well he's not rejecting you he's just a guy and guys sometimes just like to go and you know throw the ball at the park and stuff like that so um anyway I just I yeah I would say too
042I think it's important to not try to find somebody to fill a void in your in your own life I think it's so important to learn how to enjoy enjoy yourself and be good to yourself and treat yourself well and be your own best friend start there um instead of hoping that you can find somebody to fill that void and then you're in a really good place that reminds me the MOG from Spaceballs where he's like I'm a log half man and half dog I'm My Own best friend so somebody said I saw and I was trying to read but you were rambling actually 0.5 seconds so it says I feel so old at 28 but I've always wanted to go to med school I just hope it's not too late I don't think it's
043too late no I mean at 28 is no yeah no you think pretty young and you know I think a lot of people in their 20s you're still trying to figure out you know especially if you haven't had a whole lot of guidance maybe um or maybe you were trying to live what your parents wanted you to wanted you to do you know and then you broke free from that so now this is what I've always wanted to do they wanted me to do something else I just think yeah 28's young um and I've always told my kids too is you know I Christine moved to Knoxville and she was there for two years two years went by like that and then she's back and now she's gonna go do something else you know so
044time just flies you you think you know four years oh or eight years it'll go by you know and so if you if it's something you really want to do I would encourage you to do it I would just be careful with taking out a whole bunch of loans uh because you know you don't want to bury yourself and then maybe med school doesn't work out and then you then you have all these loans and you didn't finish um because you see people do that right and I think also what you do all you know as you're trying as you're kicking that around is just go you know read about it look at you know look it up get more interested in it and or maybe just figure out what is it that you why
045is it that med school is or or you know is there something else that you could do that would not be maybe that same long path that you're looking at um but you can still get the same fulfillment and still contribute in a way that you feel feel good about it yeah so what happens if you don't pay back your loans I think uh all kinds of things that happen but I you know uh I would say if you took out loans you should pay back your payback and you know I think that's the the right thing to do although I think you know so I remember when my daughter went to school and we we looked for financial aid and they came back and said um we'll give you this Grant and all these
046loans what you know it was kind of it was presented in such a way that it was a little bit sneaky oh just signed these papers the next thing you know you're taking out these loans I said we're not taking out loans we're going to do whatever we can to to power through this and thankfully my wife went back to work and then we were able to kind of make the sacrifices to get there but just be careful with that I think I I thought it was a little bit sneaky I was looking for the grants I wasn't looking for oh yeah this loan and that loan and this loan and that loan and you know you know pretty soon you yeah have a lot of loans so and they don't leave you alone but

051I figure out what my oil my car needs uh if you're if you look in your glove compartment you should find the manual in your about your car it's usually in there there's a lot of I mean it's not gonna teach you how to fix everything but it should tell you what your what oil your card needs uh what type of gas is the best I want to say that and also some other things that are you know how to how to refill your windshield wipers kind of basic things there too yeah also I I think oil um so I uh on mine I know um it's on the cap it even says it right on the cap what the what the oil is and I think actually it's also where the tire pressure is
