hey kids how are we how's everybody doing tonight or today depending on where you live anyway i i'm not shutting my channel down i saw all those comments don't worry about that i'm planning to keep this channel going until i run out of content so uh which you know hopefully that'll be a few years before i i'll still it'll still be available i just may not continue to produce the videos so uh so i have a dad joke for you right first i have a dad joke for you what do you call an illegally parked frog a toad ah so what else do i got to cover tonight so what'd you guys think of my christmas tree video and the comments are flying yeah so anyway so the christmas tree video uh i actually hired
somebody to come and help me with that so i want to make sure that we don't have expectations that that's the quality of all my future videos because i'm still shooting them on my phone uh you know i'll probably upgrade as we get closer to closer to christmas we'll see so just want to make sure that we lower the bar a little bit so you're not disappointed on my next video uh and blake rizzo is the the guy i hired he did an amazing job with his editing and his filming and just wanted to give him a shout out uh my daughter and i had talked about doing a pumpkin pie video uh making a pumpkin pie video but with kovid and the social distancing we decided maybe we'll put that off i might still
do it uh just still trying to figure that out so um so anyway the big announcement and a lot of you guys guessed it was the merch store a lot of people been asking about uh some of the shirts that i wear in my videos and so we're actually we're just starting to uh or we created the website so it's it's dad how do i official.com that's the website um and you'll be able to buy uh we got this shirt would be good to yourself shirt i changed it to white because i thought it popped a little more than the gray okay and then you got the you got this shirt all right and i got my apron that i wore in my grilling video i got actually some dad how do i socks too
they say you got this down on the toe and dad how do i and then i got a pin a little pin and we have a limited amount of these things for now because it's a soft launch we're just trying to figure this out and want to make sure that it all goes well uh so um and actually these shirts i actually have a screen printer myself and so i i've done my own screen printing uh and so i'm actually going to be printing the the first batch at least the first how many did we decide 100 we're still trying to decide how many but so i'm actually going to be printing out them myself um yeah so anyway yay this is so difficult without you christine over here um so am i announcing this
too so this these bags uh are something that my wife makes and they're made out of canvas that um has been reclaimed it was going to be thrown in the landfills and she actually um takes them and turns them into bags so and then i screen printed it so we're going to give one of these away along with a sock one a pair of socks a pin and one of each of these shirts uh to one person and how do we enter that christine they go to instagram oh yeah go to ins go to visit my instagram to enter to win and you need to tag somebody i'm being exposed that my daughter is the brains behind this whole thing [Laughter] um so you need to tag somebody in in the comments right in order
to be entered on instagram on it on instagram we're we're social distances christine's messed up on the other side over there so uh anyway that was kind of the the big thing we wanted to just kind of you know have something that we're going to give back and we actually have some some cool things coming up like i mentioned before uh coming up in december we have some giveaways that we're going to do there too so um is that all that i needed to cover i'm trying to think i wasn't planning on this being a big long video we just wanted to kind of let you know about the let you know about the website because christine again the brains behind the operation has been working on that for a while too so um and
we are uh i hate to say this but we're only uh going to ship to usa for now um because we just want to make sure we do this correctly right so we don't want to make promises and then have it blow up in our face so we're just going to do the initial launch and just just ship to the usa i know i've got a lot of subscribers all over the world and i thank you so much for that and not trying to slight anybody i just want to make sure that um that we do this right so we'll get there we're trying we'll get there yeah we'll get there you know again this thing i didn't plan on it blowing up like it has and we're just trying to we've been real slow
with getting even this far so trying to make sure we do right by you guys so yeah and you mentioned oh oh bag he said mom hand stitched yeah so uh my wife actually yeah so she she actually sews this all up from reclaimed uh canvas right and so is the handle on and i printed it and it's got dad how do i on the on the side and so we're giving one of these away with those things if you enter on my instagram at dad how do i right is there anything else should we take any questions or you can maybe take it's up to you it's your life right so how i don't know how to tag people you just put them just put their put an ad they're going to be see
i'm old school here i was going to say their handle but i don't know what is it called they're they're insecure their instagram handle yeah so you just put that in there you guys are awesome i'm so grateful for you um i you know just want you to yeah what no yeah i was just looking i mean everybody's saying legend i hardly a legend i want you guys again i said this in my last video i want you guys to go beyond what i've what i've been able to do so if i can encourage you to do that that's what i that's what i want so um anything else should we answer any questions or what uh you guys are too kind i i'm i'm speechless here with some of the comments so maybe take
what you want to take three questions take three questions maybe yeah you said you can give away more pets next time yeah and we you know we'll do other giveaways this is we're just trying to do this slowly and correctly thanks for everything you guys no this isn't my last video no no why did you want to do youtube why did i want to do why did i want to do youtube uh so sure yeah you have a new yeah yeah so i do just recently i had a whole bunch of new subscribers so if you're new to the channel um yeah i originally just did this thinking uh it was a way to help 30 or 40 people and that's all honesty you know uh my daughter and i talk all the time and
my son and i talk all the time and just thought it would be a good resource for for somebody and try to have a one-stop shop where people could come feel um you know feel loved to come in and feel loved and learn how to do something and then yeah and then empower you to to do better things so that was the original intent and i had no idea it was going to turn into what it is uh and it's all thanks to you and you your kindness uh my subscribers are amazing you guys are um yeah i i kind of speechless i guess you guys are amazing though it's it's humbling to i'm just feel like i'm just along for the ride with you guys um and but i just want to see you
know i shared this in my last live too i want to see i'm excited i shared this actually i had an interview with youtube today because they're talking about the the youtube rewind i guess but they're not going to do that this year they're going to do something else and so i had an interview with them and you know the thing that i'm really excited about is to see what you guys are going to do you know 10 years down the road 15 years down the road um just by maybe getting you know a little a little nudge up to encourage you to to try things that maybe you were a little intimidated by so um that i'm looking forward to that and i shared that with them today why did you start the channel
yeah well i've heard bad things about rewind yeah so i saw oh no rewind yeah because people made fun of it so they're doing something different this year anyway but they did want to acknowledge what has happened with my channel this year and i think they were actually because of you guys uh i think they were even to be honest with you kind of trying to pick my brain to figure out how this happened and it was it just it just happened i don't i don't know it's because of you guys you know so um what giveaways only for usa that was another question that we had yeah that's yeah this is all this is only for usa too sorry again you know uh with my regular job i've always tried to under promise and
over perform so we want to make sure that we do this right um yeah this first time and if everything goes smooth then we'll just keep opening things up i just want to make sure that i don't tell you oh yeah we'll ship it wherever you want it and then we are unable to so we're just taking it slow yeah so perfect and then for one more question maybe someone asked what's your favorite thanksgiving food ah would be my favorite i love pumpkin pie because i make it yeah try to make it myself i don't know i love all you know i'm i'm one of those people that always overeats at thanksgiving and then i regret it later but yeah because i like stuffing i like uh i like ham actually better than turkey if
i'm just going to be honest uh and yeah i do like my pumpkin pie though because i usually make the crust from scratch and then i add real pumpkin into the filling so could you share your pumpkin pie recipe yeah i'm still debating that too uh you know we talked about doing it live i might still if if you're interested i could actually maybe make a pumpkin pie um but it wouldn't be live i don't think yeah so okay i think that's about it yeah i don't want to sit here and bore you to death unless you want me to stay a little longer i don't know should we wrap it up so uh do it do a pumpkin pie okay so i'll probably i'll try to squeeze that in um it might not go
up until maybe wednesday because you're all going to be busy next thursday right so um yeah that's about all i got so thank you so much for tuning in appreciate you guys so much you know i again i can't say that enough how uh grateful i am for for what you've done and what you've provided this platform that i have and then also um the opportunities that have come my way i uh yeah i just trying to be faithful so anyway i'll put the link in the bio to your new website too okay so that'll be there we're not linking file sorry link in description yeah we'll put the link in the description um to the website too so it's dad how do i official dot com dad how do i official dot com cause
