002phone through chair pret's phone yes with that and Marita Gardner is unable to attend we do however have a quorum thank you so we are called to order at 11:04 a.m. and the only item on the agenda this morning is um oh I'm sorry well all related to the contract the first item a public vote on the contract for superintendent Appo e Karen patod and I would at this time take a motion that the Greenfield school committee accept as presented the three-year contract for appointing Karen Pat node our superintendent as of July 1 202 24 and through June 30 2027 so moved is there a second second here we go and um any discussion from the committee I'll just say I'm thrilled great thank you member Johnson mad and I would Echo that um and
003if there and and member well as well thank you and and member Exum and no doubt member Mar feels the same uh and if there's no objection I would like to give uh Karen the opportunity to also say something I don't see any objections please just wanted to try just wanted to thank everyone for their support I am really thankful to continue doing this work blessed that I get to do it in Greenfield still I'm very excited to start this next chapter and um am just truly grateful uh for all of you and all of the support you've given me so look forward to working with those of you who remain and for those of you no longer on the committee uh it's been a real pleasure working with all of you and um I
