003four, finance and facilities. um 4A approval of budget increase DFA kitchen infrastructure award 117 605 with 40 cents. So, why we were here today, we received this award this last week um from DFA, the Department of Finance, and this award, it does say right here, revision date, June 30th of 2027. We received this award last school year. However, we're not able to spend it because it has DFA has their own rules than PED has rules in terms of how to spend the money. Um, and so we thought we had lost this 117,000 and it all has to be spent on kitchen repairs, equipment upgrade. Um, they came back and reawwarded these letters to us. And so we want to get this approved sooner rather than later because we were given the deadline of June 30th,
0042026 to have our money spent. Even though the revision date here is the 2027, um the lady who's going to help us go through the process to ensure we can spend this money told us we need to spend this by June 30th, 2026. We are planning on going ahead and redoing the high school cafeteria plumbing. Um with this money, we asked for money from Capital Outlay to do the gym and the cafeteria. This will just get a jump start in terms of we will probably be able to do more of the locker rooms with the money we asked.
