Mic check one, two. Check one, two, one, two. One, two. You want to have her do a sound check? Just yeah. Does that sound good? Okay. Test. Testing. It works. It's good. Green light is on. And it's also you can you can use it wherever. Hello. All right. Good evening, everyone. I will call our meeting to order at 6:00 and welcome back to the board room. It is April 14th, 2026, a regularly scheduled board meeting for the El Segundo Unified School District Governing Board, and we will start with uh Clerk Sutherland leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance. All right, I have no report of action taken in closed session because there was no action taken in closed session. Uh now bring us to the agenda hearing period and public communications, for which I have

one card tonight. So, if I could ask Mr. Jim Fenton to please come up to the podium. The floor is yours. This is a non-agenda item. You have 3 minutes. Uh not quite 30, but thank you. Thank you, Jim. Okay, thank you, Jim. Thank you, PTA. Thank you, Kiwanis. All right, our next item on the agenda is our student representative report. Miss Pelka, would you like to take the chair or take the mic? Good evening, everyone. I hope everyone had a restful break. It is lovely to be back in the new district offices. This is my first time, so that's very exciting. Um ESHS ASB is as busy as ever. This week is our ASB campaign and elections week, culminating in speeches this Thursday in the auditorium. Our candidates are hard at work putting their

best foot forward and representing ASB excellently. I'm very excited to announce your future president at the next meeting. Uh although sadly, that means our time together is coming to a close. Today, we had an assembly presentation by Mr. Gebhardt outlining the run, hide, fight procedures, which are to be practiced at an upcoming drill. And this was followed by a video created by Ms. DuToit, our school psychologist from the Wellness Center. This video discussed different forms of trauma and effective ways to understand and process these intense emotions. And I'm very excited to announce our April Teacher of the Month is Ms. Amaral. She's the new biology and prin- principles of biomed teacher, and she's a ray of sunshine, and we could not be more than happy to have her as a part of our ESHS staff.

And this Thursday is our Superintendent's Advisory Council meeting, where we will be discussing AI literacy as well as athletics. And our guests this week will be Dr. Young, Mr. Hack, and Mr. Foti Devlantis. And that is all for my report. All right, thank you very much. Uh next we have an update from the El Segundo Ed Foundation, and in place of Ms. Caban, who we will send healthy healing vibes to, we have Dr. Moore. Good evening, President Miller-Zarneke, members of the board. Uh no, I'm not Krista Caban. Uh I'm uh Melissa Moore, vice chair of the Ed Foundation, and welcome home. You're back where you belong. So, it's nice to see things refreshed and uh ready for you, and you're back in your chairs. Um we enjoyed a meeting today as a board and would

like to thank Dr. Johnson uh for a very comprehensive uh presentation to the board regarding the district's goals and then upcoming programming. So, uh it was very informative and what was very helpful when we went into discussion. Uh Superintendent Roundtable members received an email this week with an e-vite. So, definitely check your email and RSVP for an upcoming event at the end of the month. And I definitely would like to point out that SR members get special privileges. So, if you're not one, consider looking at your donation and putting in a few more dollars so that you can join us. Summer Academy is open and uh they're very excited this year. Uh in keeping with the district's trend of moving pathways more into the middle school, we're now taking steps to as a Summer Academy

add SoCal Rock offerings. So, we have high-interest career technical offerings that'll be taking place and a wide array for our middle school students that have never been offered before this summer. So, be sure to take a look at that, and they have a very nice flyer that they're sending home. Um and as lastly, but most importantly, of course, is the Ed Gala. So, get your tickets now, May 8th. Uh it'll be a very golden evening, and as always, uh Barbara Brynie and her fabulous committee has many new surprises. We don't just sit by the sidelines and just keep things business as usual. There's always new and exciting surprises. So, we look forward to having the board there and the community joining us to mix and mingle under the stars. Thank you very much. Thank you,

Dr. Moore. Thank you, Ed Foundation, as always. Uh next we have an update from ESTA. I see some gentlemen, or at least one of two gentlemen, in the back row coming up, Mr. Loubs. Welcome back to the board room. Good evening, everyone. I'm just going to leave it like that. Uh I hope everybody had a great uh spring break. Get some rest. Um I know none of us are counting down the days till the end of the school year. Um as always, we appreciate everyone's support from the board to the district office. Um certainly, right now, we know negotiations are still continuing. We're looking forward to finding a common ground here in the very near near future. Thank you. All right, thank you, Mr. Loubs. And do we have an update from CSEA tonight? We

do. Come on up, Carlos. Good evening, everyone, and welcome back. Uh place looks great. Um just want to say that we hope everyone had a restful spring break, and you know, you guys did a lot of fun stuff. Um our report from us is we did pass the initial proposal uh for our full successor. So, we definitely look forward to those negotiations. Um like Mr. Loubs was saying, we appreciate you guys' time and dedication and, you know, hearing us out, you know, making sure that we find, you know, those common grounds and and we achieve, you know, the success, you know, on both sides of the table. So, yeah, we look forward to that. Um other than that, um I think we're we're good for right now. So, welcome back once again. Thank you. Oh,

and sorry, Ms. Leilani says she's sorry she couldn't be here, but she sends her regards. We we miss her being here as well. Thank you for being here and thank you for setting us up in the room once again. All right, next on our agenda time we have a Center Street School student recognition. I'd like to ask Ms. Aarons to come up. >> [laughter] >> All right. Um so, good evening uh Board President Miller-Zarneke, board members, and Superintendent Dr. Johnson, and members of our cabinet. I'm Rose Aarons, proud principal of Center Street, and so grateful for this opportunity to be with you this evening. Um it's my true pleasure to recognize one of our exceptional student, Ellie Chen, whose recent accomplishments in the spelling bee reflect not only academic excellence, but also dedication, perseverance, and

a remarkable composure under pressure. This is especially exciting as this marks the second year in a row that Ellie has been our school district's elementary spelling bee winner. An incredible and rare achievement. Sharing her journey has been such a joy for her classmates and for our school as a whole as we have all followed along and celebrated each step of her success. Recently, Ellie earned third place at the Los Angeles County Spelling Bee. An outstanding accomplishment among a highly competitive field of students from across the county. Through this success, she has qualified to compete at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. in May. In addition, as the top finisher among fourth through sixth grade students, she will be representing our region at the California State Spelling Bee later this month. Ellie's success is

a testament to the countless hours of preparation, a love of language, and a willingness to challenge herself at the highest level. She represents the very best of our students and our community. Please join me in congratulating Ellie on this outstanding accomplishment. >> [applause] >> All right, Ellie. Ellie, we have a certificate for you. And uh we want to let you know that the Board of Education and the entire district is very proud of you. Congratulations. Ellie, if if you don't mind, we'd like to take a picture. We'll we'll come around and meet you out here. All right. We're back We're back in our seats and ready for more uh not quite as exciting stuff probably as winning a spelling bee. That's incredible. We're very proud of you, Ellie. Um all right, we have consent agenda

time now. If I could have If there's any pulls, let me know. Otherwise, we'll have a motion. I move to approve consent items A through it looks like H. Second. All right, any discussion on any of these items? Seeing and hearing none, I will ask for your preferential vote. All right, look this way this time. And board members in favor, please say I. I. Those opposed? Motion carries 5-0. All right, next we have item 6A, approval of a new job description, MTSS instructional coach. Ms. Veal, would you like to present? Thank you. This action item requests Board of Education approval of a new job description for the MTSS instructional coach TOSA. It's a 2-year position funded through the student support professional development block grant. The role is designed for an educator with experience in instructional

coaching, tier two intervention, and facilit- facilitating data-driven collaboration through PLCs to improve student outcomes. I recommend approval. Do you have a motion for approval? So moved. Second. All right, any discussion on this item? Maddy, your preferential vote? I. And board members in favor, please say I. I. >> I. Those opposed? Motion carries 5-0. And now we have item 6B, approval of board policies and administrative regulations for human resources, again to Ms. Veal. Yes, this action item requests approval of policies and administrative regulations which contain proposed updates and new policies recommended by the California School Board Association. The updates are aligned with state and federal regulations to ensure compliance. They were presented to the board at the previous meeting as information pending action, and no recommended revisions were received. I recommend approval. I move to approve

action item 6B. Second. All right, any discussion on this item? All right, Maddy, your preferential vote? I. And board members in favor, please say I. I. I. Those opposed? Motion carries 5-0. All right, next item 7A, approval of resolution 13, 2025-26 acknowledging Earth Day. Ms. Young, Dr. Young, sorry. No problem. This resolution establishes April 22nd, 2026 as Earth Day and encourages all schools and community members to participate in Earth Day activities and continue to support environmental education and action throughout the year. The theme for this year is our power, our planet. I recommend approval. So moved. Second. Any discussion on this item? I I You know I want to say something. You know I want to say something, but I'm I'm I'm going to keep it short. I'm just going to say first of all,

I'm glad that our environmental committee is quite active this year uh throughout the district and um under Dr. Lenz and Dr. Young is is very vital in that as well uh bringing all of our sites together to do some green stuff. It's very exciting. Um so, thank you for bringing this resolution forth as well. And I hope we all uh well, I'll more on that later, but yay, here comes Earth Week. All right. And your preferential vote then. This is fabulous. Uh I. Board members in favor, please say I. I. I. Those opposed? Motion carries 5-0. All right, next we have uh 7B, approval of administrative regulation 6157.1. Uh Dr. Young. Thank you. This administrative regulation was brought forth for consideration at the last meeting, and it governs our independent study physical education program. I

did not receive any recommendations for revisions, and I recommend approval. I move approval of action item 7B. Second. Any discussion on this item? I just have a question. Um so, in the body of it, it um has a certain number of hours per week that um either a middle school student or a high school student must uh spend on their sport. And I'm just wondering um is that a district number or California number or This is consistent with what all of the local school districts are offering as far as the number of required hours and then it's also to ensure that we meet the minimum hours to fulfill the minutes for instruction. And oh, so does it correlate to the number of hours they would be in class for? >> Yes. Okay. Any other discussion?

Questions? All right. Maddie, your preferential vote? I. Board members in favor, please say I. I. >> I. Those opposed? Motion carries 5-0. All right. Item 7C, which I just jumped my iPad. Approval of the renewal PowerSchool for the 2026-2027 school year. Dr. Young. Thank you. This item is our renewal agreement with PowerSchool, which is our district's enrollment and student information system, as well as provides Schoology as our learning management system for our secondary schools. I recommend approval. Move to approve action item 7C. Second. All right. Any discussion on this item? Okay. Seeing none, Maddie, your preferential vote? I. And board members in favor, please say I. I. >> I. Those opposed? Motion carries 5-0. Wow. How did we get to 8A already? That's amazing. Okay. Uh we've got the informational calendar to take a look

at here. So, lots of good things happening. People might be less excited about the CAST testing, but things we got to do. Uh plenty of other meetings and events, including I see the PTA Run for Education is officially on this calendar. So, great. Well done. Um now we can move into board members' reports and we will start with Mr. Glenn. Thank you. On 26th of March, I chaired the El Segundo Rotary Club Pageant of the Arts art contest. We received about 60 entries from El Segundo High School and Lennox Academy combined. The artwork was judged for appeal, technical ability, and relevance to the theme, which was doing good in the world. The winners are in third place, Cairo Karimi, whose study in charcoal was named Communicate. In second place, Giselle Carr's suspended art installation named

Burdened Flight, and our winner is Lilly Mankoonian's very intricate work in graphite named Crystal of Hope. All three will be attending an upcoming Rotary meeting to present their art and receive their prizes. >> [clears throat] >> Lilly will go on to the district competition, which is to be held in May. Oh my god. Oh [snorts] my god, you guys. Oh my god, you guys. Along with other members of the board, some of whom may have seen the show more than once, I got to witness a fantastic performance of Legally Blonde at the Performing Arts Center. Many thanks to the Ed Foundation, who sedulously all year worked to raise funds that allowed the district to give our students the platform to follow their passion in art, drama, and many other fields. Thanks and kudos to the

all-star staff of producers and directors, Tiffany Amazianette, >> [laughter] >> Glenn Studwell, and Betsy Just Do Toit. >> [laughter] >> Amazing programs at ESU ESUSD do not happen without the amazing talents of and passion of our staff. I attended the Eagles Nest PTO meeting on March 26th. All is well under the guiding hand of Billy Calloway, uh with preparations underway for many end-of-year school activities. All board members were present at the very memorable 59th annual Mayor's Good Friday Breakfast, which coincidentally coincided with member Beachley's birthday, and um she was serenaded by the Watkins, which was really nice. Uh the guest speaker was Father Alexy Smith of the Russian Orthodox Church. It was a lovely event that brings community together to celebrate the season. Also today, I intended attended the Ed Foundation board meeting. And I

just like to say it's truly wondrous that we have so many people in town volunteering their time and talents with the singular goal of consistently making our school dis- district stronger by funding programs that would not otherwise be possible. And as was mentioned earlier, the Ed Foundation event of the year is coming up on Friday, May 8th at Chevron Park, and tickets are available at esedf.org. You don't want to miss it. And Well, this is already mentioned as well. Coming up fast is the El Segundo Kiwanis PTA Run for Education 1 week from Saturday. There's a rumor going around that Vice President Daima was at a high altitude camp during spring break. And she >> [laughter] >> And she's been working on uh bettering her time from previous years. >> [laughter] >> So, just uh

so everybody knows, you can run or walk 5 or 10K, and there's also a special half K and 1K run for kids. You can sign up by Googling Run for Ed, cuz if I try to give you the website, it's too long, but just Google Run for Ed and you'll get it. And also, if you can't or don't want to run Daima, please think about volunteering as a corner monitor. I know Ms. Beachley will be doing that. And over to you, Ms. Beachley. Okay. Okay, so jeez, I get to follow that. Okay. So, um we did have a special board meeting, which are always so special. Um and it was both productive and entertaining. Um and it was here at the DO, which was nice to It is nice to be back home. Uh the

Just Do It relay team race uh at the high school track meet was equally entertaining. Um Dr. Young, Frank, Daima, and Dr. Johnson were wonderful team, um and I was a really good audience. Um I also did Pageant of the Arts, and I kind of forgot. That was one thing I forgot. Thank you for reminding me. Um the vocal and the instrumental winners um were awarded at the uh Women's Club last week, right before spring break. Um I can only speak for the vocal, um but we had we actually had four winners because we could not break the third place tie um between uh Julia and Michael, and then Eliza was second, and Ella Ward was first. And kind of the coolest thing about it was all four of them were participating in the musical.

So, it was really fun, and it was actually Michael's birthday um the day that they performed at the Women's Club, which was really fun. Um I did attend the environmental meeting for Tracy. Please be on the lookout for some flyers that are going to be promoting their Earth Week activities. We've got colors of the day. We've got different activities for each day, and it's I think this is a first. Um this is going to be district-wide. So, it's going to be all of the schools kind of doing the same thing um for the week, which I think is really exciting. Um during the high school PTSA meeting, uh we were all reminded of all the amazing programs and service that we all do as a community to provide such amazing things for our students. They're

having another donut day coming up. They've got another driving ed um seminar. They just have so many things that they offer for the students. And then they're getting ready apparently for prom and a few other things coming up, which is very exciting. The musical was absolutely incredible. Saw it twice. Um Thank you to the wonderful MC. Now, I already had this written down just so you know. So, thank you to our wonderful MC Frank Glenn who helped make the Good Friday birthday even more special by arranging for an amazing serenade by Bill and Carol Watkins, which I really, really want a copy of. You didn't videotape it though, did you? Yeah, the the city did. I need to see if I can get that. Um I also enjoyed honoring the high school teachers later that

day uh with a lunch uh during their break um for all the hard work that the teachers do in order to be part of the distinguished school designation. So, that was very nice. And then I hope everybody had a relaxing break and I look forward to all the crazy that we're about ready to embark as we get ready for another into the year. That was your mic drop. Um well, you guys have hit the things that I've gone to, so uh I will say though, seeing all the shows that Tiffany Masonet has created and I mean, we went to high school together, so it's really cool to see so much that Yeah. Yeah. Um yeah, and just seeing so much of her come out in these shows is just an amazing thing. So, each time

that I see a show, I just feel like it's like a little piece of her that's a part of it. Um so, I really enjoyed seeing Legally Blonde. And plus, Legally Blonde, you know, it yeah, it's fun and it also like hits a little bit of like growing up watching the movie and everything. So, Yeah, it was a fun night and I guess that's the end of my report. So, it sounds like we all went to see Legally Blonde and that's great. I just want to take a moment to say a special thanks to Tiffany Masonet and the entire Legally Blonde production team for delivering another outstanding performance. Practice makes perfect. From our 6:00 a.m. morning runs to the high school track excuse me, on the high school track and participating in that optional additional

practice uh in preparation for the staff 4 by 100 relay race, I have to say Frank comes across as very calm and steady, but he is a master coach. He knows how to motivate and for that, I say thank you. The race was absolutely amazing in the sense that have you ever watched a sport and thought, "Oh, I can do that?" And then you tried? Um it was it was a beautiful experience and my takeaway from it was we are winners, not because we won the race, but because we showed up. And I have to say to Dr. Olivia Young, to Dr. Jason Johnson, to coach of coaches Frank Glenn, and myself, I am glad that we did this. It will forever be remembered in my heart. In fact, when I got on the Peloton

and I put on my shirt, it reminded me of our time together. But no, in all seriousness, I do have to say it was a wonderful experience and I thank you all for having sharing that memory with me. On April 1st, I served as a guest speaker across various business pathway classes, periods 1 through 4 at El Segundo High School, sharing professional insights and experiences with the students. Special thanks to Bonnie May and John Eastman for the opportunity to engage with their students and the following classes: business entrepreneurship, marketing and finance, business accounting, and speech and debate. And Meredith already touched on this, but I do want to say just a a real thank you to Frank who showed who was the MC for the Mayor's Good Friday Breakfast. I've said this before and I'll

say it again until I'm blue in the face. You do have a way, when you have the mic, you have a way of making everyone around you feel seen. And even the way that you serenaded Meredith for her birthday, it was a it was a beautiful experience. It is a delight to serve with you because you share the spotlight in a way that shines even more light on those who serve with you and brings out not only their heart, but all of the effort that goes with it. So, kudos to you for being someone who shows up in a way that makes serving with you wonderful. On April 13th, I attended the final Richmond Street School PTA meeting of the year. Special thanks to Mariah Cooley and the entire RSS PTA executive staff, excuse me,

executive board for their dedication. And as mentioned at last night's meeting by our very own Dr. Johnson, RSS has the best swag. So, thank you to Sam Greenspan who pours his heart into the swag options and membership for Richmond. And lastly, for that night, Dr. Johnson was our guest speaker and he talked about our district goals as well as went over everything that has happened and what will happen next within our district. Upcoming events for RSS PTA is April 17th, the Daughters Night Out. And a general reminder, thank you so much for the shirts, but I want to give this reminder because tonight is tonight at midnight, the price for the Run for Education goes up. So, if you are planning on doing it, please do it tonight to save before midnight, 11:59 at least.

Otherwise, just pay the additional price, get your fabulous shirt, and either run or serve as a volunteer of some sort. But we hope to see you out there Saturday. Thank you. Okay. Um first of all, I just want to say I'm excited to be back in this space, um which means we're close to finishing the bond measure. I I I can't believe we're here, but also wants me to break out in big long gratitude list of how we got here, but I'm not going to do that. I'm going to save that for ribbon cutting and also to not keep our meeting going too long tonight. So, um just happy to be here though. So, glad for that. Um I wanted to let you all know that the LAX executive board met and voted to send

a letter of support to the state legislator legislature backing the four bill assembly package regarding student achievement, which was different bills to help align state policy, funding, and oversight around a clearer operations and support plan so we can close the gap as needed around the state. Um and one of those bills was uh sponsored by our very own assemblyman, Al Muratsuchi. So, it's good that we we have Al with us here and and and uh that he was willing to put up one of those four bills. Um in other news, I want to verbally applaud the casting crew of Legally Blonde cuz indeed, I'm not going to try to perform the way Frank did for us here tonight, but oh my god, that was a great show. Um amazing again, uh Ms. Masonet and and

her casting crew always blow me away. They're they're just so talented. Um in slightly less flashy performances, I want to give kudos to Dr. Jay and his cabinet for their board workshop on governance that we had. Uh still performance art, you know, in its own special way. So, thank you, Dr. Yorn, for being there and and and Ms. Veal and and Dr. Lenz, who's not with us tonight, but we appreciate your continuing to keep us abreast of should be top of mind all the time, which is more than more than a few things. Um gratitude also to the Rotary Club for hosting the as previously mentioned, the Mayor's Good Friday Breakfast. Um it's always a great morning of community that came together, including a fantastic performance by our orchestra uh department. We we did mention

that uh some of our students were there to perform and and start that off. So, wonderful that they were willing to come out and and Mr. Bow was was willing to bring them out and have that. Um I also want to thank Frank for covering the Ed Board this morning, but I don't know what kind of zingers you dropped in that meeting, so I'm not sure I should thank you yet cuz seeing the other performance, not sure. I'm I'm not sure I'm not sure what assets you brought to this morning, but yeah, anyway, uh thank you for being there. Um and again, Meredith, thank you for covering environmental when my work made me be down in San Diego instead of there last week. Um but I do look forward to Earth Week fun coming up.

I I'm really pleased that that is that is in our strategic plan, that is in our focus, that is a thing that we are embracing as you move forward. So, I think that will uh serve us well for the future path. And I just want to say I'm going to ask I'm going to close tonight by saying if everybody can make one green change, just one, starting next week and going here to fourth, I ask that you do that. Nice bottle. Thank you very much. Um but yes, do at least one small thing to make a difference next week. And with that, I will pass it over. Thank you, Madam Timsie. On the PTA side, we have the principal and president meeting. We're calling this the Partners in Purpose Dinner, where all the principals and

the PTA former and new presidents will come together for an evening of activities and dinner. And then that will be complemented where we'll do another meeting in the fall, which will be more of a planning meeting and focus. So this is the team building side. So just really excited about that and kudos as always to Cheryl and the PTA presidents for putting it together. On the Ed side, we had our meeting today. I just I just wanted to acknowledge, you know, we have $2 million worth of ass. And most places that'd be like, "What?" And in Ed Foundation, and El Segundo, that's just what they do. So I just to me, that says so much about this community and its value in education. I want to thank Miss Aaron Bolanos, college and career center counselor.

She's done a great job um in the last few months about really chasing and expanding our internship and volunteer opportunities for our career pathways experience. They've made a lot of gains. It's hard work, very hard work. I think actually the Ed Foundation can appreciate this. So just thank you to her and her assistant, Emma. Also going on with staff, the fifth and sixth grade teams have been working on the transition from fifth to sixth grade and come up with some really thoughtful ideas that the Dr. Davalantes and the elementary principal shared with us. So just really excited about it. I just I just appreciate that work. That's a really tough transition. Anyone that has kids or teaches those grades, you mean like who has gone through that transition themselves, definitely understands it's a tough transition.

So we really appreciate that. I want to thank the track athletes. You know, I I'd seen a the track meet last year, but just like to be on the ground and just to see you mean like how many different races even multiple a student runs was just really interesting. And then, you know, it's a lot of pressure. You know, like I I appreciate these types of sports where it's it's a it's a it's a just on you type of sport. And that's hard. It's very nerve-racking. As a wrestler in high school, it's very nerve-racking. And so I just really appreciate seeing those athletes like first-hand. Like that was awesome. And then just kudos to Coach Davis for all she does and the relationships and her the the relationships that her coaches have with those athletes.

It was awesome to see the design week projects we got to walk through on the early stages, and that's a lot of work for the middle school teachers. The middle school teachers have those students all day for 5 days a week doing these these very intricate projects. So it's just a lot of work and we really appreciate that work and what they put into it. And the design projects were awesome. And I got to see a lot of really great examples. And then I want to give a compliment. We talked about this a lot in Superintendent Advisory Council, but students who use the wellness center. You know, it's it's one thing to have the resource, it's one another thing though to have students that are willing to use the resource proactively. We saw a lot

of data on that just recently, which I actually like to bring to Superintendent Advisory Council. But I I just I really appreciate students accessing it and we've actually seen pretty hard data demonstrating that this these preventative measures are having a noticeable impact on outcomes. So looking forward to sharing that information with the board. And then I'd like to share that on Wednesday at 3:40 p.m. there's a breathing workshop that's being put on at the middle school by Miss Klein. And so that's just like a one example though, right? Of like, you know, you know, utilizing those resources that are available. So thank you for the students who give their time to do so. And then looking forward to El Segundo Middle School's open house on Thursday, April 23rd. But anyone that's been part of setting

up for an open house, it's a lot of work. And so having been a secondary teacher once upon a time myself as well too, it's it's it's it's it's a lot of work that you're not usually used to. So just making things pretty, making things nice. And so it's it's really awesome to to get to see it and get to see a lot of student projects on display. So just kudos to those teachers and I strongly encourage all parents to to go to their child's open house. We usually have like an amazing turnout. And then thank you to board member, thank you Meredith. She and I went to the high school to celebrate the California Distinguished Schools as she mentioned.
