005more than 15 countries including India Canada Yemen Mexico China France Germany Brazil and the Dominican Republic hi I'm Bella and I'm with Sean and we're from Spanish H Society um so out of the classroom a lot of our members are planning to use their languages for a lot of different things like entertainment with friends family members um and work in sports so these are some of the percentages based off of our surveys um in the future we as we've said we plan to use them for work um but students have also noticed that um they're very useful in travel education with family and sports uh language is also really important in careers as they become more communication oriented so we also anticipate to use them in medicine law government science are anything that involves like
006cooperation among various groups of people and to end it off uh we have some of our favorite phrases uh excuse my on these ones uh we have Whata which means oh my God in Mandarin but it literally translates to um what is it oh my mother so it's like you're calling to your mother instead of God uh and then there's also a dama which just means I love you in Spanish uh there's which means like to stay positive or like persevere through a tough time which literally translates to in bad weather have a good face uh and then there's do which is Italian for of doing nothing which as a high school senior I'm starting to discover uh and then there's um this French phrase which is which means excuse that one which means um
007love at first sight but it literally translates to a strike of lightning likening love to almost like a strike of white name uh and then there's V which means like good or okay in some uh distinctions of Spanish like bar in Spanish and it's related to English valid and then related to that we have which means better late than never uh then finally to end it off we have in French which just means I love you I don't know why it's a slow thank you thank you so I'm Mrs Mac and I would like to um invite the following new members of the French Honor Society to come up and receive their certificates um a so Lena AR [Applause] Roo Nathaniel bogus [Applause] Brook [Applause] Carpenter Alexander [Applause] Lopes aan [Applause] Lucas and Ian Sharma
