three uh Miss jinsky please call the role sure uh Mr grippo here Mr White here miss Rosenberg Mr chairman you have a quum all rise for the pledge I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all and a beautiful rendition of the flag finally finally getting it down after like three years thanks for noticing Mr scour in the internet for the right yeah that was a good one full screen and everything yeah yeah um so today we only have two items on the agenda uh the the first is um something that we had talked about oh I'm sorry that I I jumped over audience but I have not received anything related to policy

I don't know if you two gentlemen have uh I have not received anything okay sorry um a little Hasty but uh so the next uh the first item we have is not actually policy but a regulation um which means that it doesn't require um readings but only one uh so I the only tweak I would make you can see here initially it's it's crossed out the uh you know in terms of the old um the old title it references that uh and Carol has tweaked it uh you can see like here every place that it said in the old policy this isn't updated every place it said instructional Services it's been changed to assistant superintendent the none of the um the actual um I wasn't sharing screen I'm sorry but I have my copy up

so I was able to see it um none of the actual responsibilities have changed it's exclusively the title if you recall at the onset of Co we had a special Personnel meeting identifying this uh position as the um basically the second in command uh in terms of a succession plan and so this is just a a change to include a change in title and um during my evaluation uh meetings we we talked a little bit about this and it had uh you know resounding support of the board great um do we need to uh do I need to make a motion to approve I I think that makes sense Adam if you don't mind sure um so uh motion to approve so it it's just appr proove we don't it's we don't have to have

multiple readings or anything right because it's no it's just proove the change in um resolution okay so regulation excuse me uh motion to approve regulation 2134 um provision April 2020 I don't know if that's part of the title or just regulation 2134 um to include the change and title uh to assistant superintendent um is there a second second any discussion or questions all in favor is unanimous of those present if if I may one question not specific to that but just in general how do you distinguish between us taking like the vote so we we read it three times vote on it if it's a policy if it's a regulation we're voting once is this more of like uh is this something that's required or just something that you think it's better if we do

it it's a regulation it would be your discretion you're just asking for a support one I think it's better but I also think it is part of our uh regulations as well Carol do you know that off the top of your head definitively yeah the the regulations have to be the board has to be notified of any changes to the regulation because if the board is against it they can say no you're not going to make that change but it doesn't require you know three readings for approval okay but it the basic difference is regulation versus policy right okay thank you um the next item was the uh 61 25 draft I'll put that up on the screen as well this was uh excuse me this is uh a policy that we took up I

guess April maybe um and it was to review our policy around administration of surveys uh this is the foundation of this is law law um and we had to adopt a lot of the language that you see here um the big one that you know the the most substantial change that we made over the two initial readings is what you see highlighted on the screen where we specifically call out the safe School climate survey um and you I'm sure you'll recall some of the conversations we had around this like you know what happens if the board's at an impass Etc but I think we kind of worked that out right yeah the um this Pi was just more of a um almost like an additions of not really a Roberts rules are more of a

procedural uh addition for an impass um yeah what do we do if people don't agree sort of thing so right but yeah I think it's uh because of what was it like three votes and then and special meeting or something yeah so that's enough time for like a cooling off period then you come back and yeah yeah gives a curriculum I think a little opportunity to make adjustments too between you know reviews or whatnot if necessary right um so there wasn't any other feedback as well by the way when we went to the full board on the first two readings so right yeah I thought they uh were satisfied yeah during my reports yeah pretty generally accepted yeah um all right so this would be a moved to a third reading third and final reading

yes okay um move uh that the uh policy committee uh or yeah move that move that policy 51 the uh move to a uh third reading um second second uh any comments or questions no seeing none um all in favor it is unanimous of those present fantastic Let's see we just pull up the agenda here okay well I have nothing under other uh Tim did you have anything um any other uh issues that we should be speaking about or thinking about for the future no nothing nothing right now thank you okay well then um motion to adjourn right a second all in favor okay we are adjourned now go to bed Jeff thanks guys appreciate take all those vitamins Jeff if you need
