010ever has been to participate in that campaign you can donate as little as a dollar on a weekly paycheck for 20 and if everybody in our school system did that it would be a significant impact on kids and people who need it in our community or you could donate more you could do a one-time donation or paycheck donation and i bring this up because this year we want to try and bolster our participation a little bit we've had a very rich history and so um talk to your school principal if you'd like to participate if you haven't already and uh when people do that we enter your name for a special drawing and this year we were able to select four gift card winners we have four 25 dollar gift cards uh you do not
011need to email us to claim these we will bring them around to you hopefully tomorrow and our first winner from central office is greg gibbons congratulations and thank you and a special thanks to all these people for their donations too to the united way you know it's a caring community and that's what really today is about uh people who support us we're supporting them another winner is robert quinn he's a maintenance staff member over at highland congratulations bob theresa lebron is a teacher at cheshire high school congratulations teresa and michelle vieira is a pe teacher at norton school congratulations michelle thank you and again thank you to all of you who have participated it's not too late if you'd still like to participate in the united way campaign one of the nice things about that
012is too you can also designate where you want the money to go so whether if there's a special cause uh if you have a family member that you know maybe has an illness they're suffering from something specific you want to donate to the american cancer society you can or crohn's disease or diabetes there are many choices for you and it makes a big difference for them and it makes you feel good too so please consider that the last thing i want to just reinforce for people is that our cheshire ed foundation 25 years this year incredible what they've done for us this year they just added 10 audio rooms around the district uh at a very expensive thirty thousand dollars to do that so thank you so much for everybody in the cheshire ed foundation
