That's right. What is your question? What's your question? I don't have a question. Embarrassing for you. What? Are you nervous? Yeah. Why? That's French. [laughter] What did you say? Are you a shy person? a little bit. I don't see that. I think you're waiting to break out of your Hi. Can I teach you? Yes, of course. They're getting ready to make video. Oh, okay. Taking some candy. That's fine. Thanks. Hey, Tyler there. Let me get a picture of you while you're working. YouTube videos, you want things to start quickly. You want to get your message directly to the viewer to let them know they clicked on the right video. And you don't want to waste the time. And if this feels awkward to you at first because you're not used to editing, keep going. Keep
practicing. This does get easier. Turn on your thumb. You're going to be doing a lot of pinching with your thumbs. That's okay, too. Do this however you want. Practice as much as you need to practice. You will get the hang of it and it gets a lot easier. So, now that I have the very beginning worked out, I'm going to scrub along and I'm going to play. I'm going to listen to see where I [clears throat] stop speaking. I'm another play along and see what I do here. I actually don't remember. This is the best editing app. This is the senior. Yes, I tried them all. I don't know what to say. Okay. So, I made an obvious pause there and I now I don't know if this is going to be the final edit
that's going to make this video, but for So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to go along speaking apparently. Okay. Right there. I know that I finished. I'm going to tap and I'm going to tap on split. Is that on the left? It should be. Yeah. 11:40. So, she's in lunch three. It's available on your tablet and your Yeah, that's not I don't know how accurate that is. It's available on your phone, your tablet, and your Okay, I think I got that one. So, I'm going to go back to where I started. So, make sure you're getting all the other assets that you need for the video, all the pictures, whatever you're going to throw in. Okay. Then, I'm going to delete the clip that I don't want. and it's automatically going to
close those two clips. So now we have this I'm using to edit this video. It's available on your phone. Now that's not as tight as I would like and I'll show you how to trim that. But I want you to notice the little white square in between them. That's where the transition goes. So if you didn't want a hard cut there, you can tap on that and it will load up transitions down at the bottom. This is a good time to talk about the pro features. Not trying to sell you on it. I just let you know what they are. All tools you see inside of Cap Cut that have a pro tag, those are for users who have paid for the app that have a pro account. You don't need those. All you have
to do is look for tools that do not have the tag and you can use those. And you might have to scroll along, scroll to the left, scroll to the right. They've got all sorts of different tools here. But if I wanted to add a transition, this is how I would do it. Let me pick black fade. As soon as I tap that, it's going to give me the length of the transition here. So, if I wanted to fade out slower, move to the right. If I wanted to move quicker, I'm going to fade it to the left. And I'm going to hit the check mark down at the bottom. And this is what that would look like. It's made a little black flash. And you can tell that there's a transition there because it
has the Cat Cut logo on the transition box where this one has no transition. Now, I don't want the transition here. I just wanted to show you how to put one in. So, if I want to get rid of that, I can undo any move that I just made. Color correction, transition, [clears throat] anything by simply going to the back arrow, tapping on that, and it removes the transition. Now, let's tighten up the back of that first clip. So, I'm going to zoom in even more. And yes, that's what I'm using to edit. Okay, so that took just a little bit longer than I wanted. So, I can tap on the clip and I can choose to cut the clip there or I can grab the end of the clip and I can drag it
back. Push it, hold it, and drag it. Now, let's see what happens. That's what I'm using to edit this video. It's available on your phone, your tablets, and your desktop computers. You can use it for free, and I'm going to show you how to use it right now. Okay, I just paused there again. So, I'm going to go back to where my mouth stops moving. I'm going to highlight it. I'm going to hit split. What's left is the clip I'm going to delete. I'm going to show you how to use it right now. Good. Good. See, I'm going to go to speaking again, highlight it, split it, remove the beginning of this, tell you how to use it right now. Go to.com or go to store inst. [laughter] Yeah. Are you guys ready to start
shooting? Do we have to get them off of Minecraft? I'm just trying to get the purpose of this tutorial. I'm going to end my show to do. So, I'm just going to come in and I'm going to build these clips because I don't need them for the purpose you want to start recording. And by the way, right here, you see the tap cut logo at the very end. You see how that happens right there? You can click on that, tap on that, and you can delete it. It comes in to There's also setting in here where you can turn that off. So if you click out and you go to your setting in the top right hand corner, you're going to see an option for add default engine. By default, I think this is turned
on for most people. You can select that, hit discard, and it should be gone. So that should eliminate the tap cut popping up sometimes. So if it doesn't show up, tap on it and delete it. Now it saved what we were working on here as a project. This is saved up in the cloud. It doesn't put your videos up, but it saves the project. So all the projects create those individual projects. You can tap on this. You can rename it, you can duplicate it, you can back it up, you can upload it to Google Drive or something, etc. Now, this is the very basic. You've learned how to cut, you learn how to play, you've learned how to position, you learn how to chest. There's all kinds of go into details actually running. Maybe it's
just not making a connection. And that's what we're doing today. So once you have the basic video editor put together, I want you to look up in the top right hand corner. Tap on to understand the quality of the footage that you're recording. My footage is recorded at 4K. 4K. So, I'm going to increase the resolution to 4K. My frame rate about 30 frames per second. You have to look at your camera or your phone to see what you've recorded. If you recorded at 24 frames per second, he was talking to me about it. Dylan Jun. Yeah, he he likes it a lot. Um, I've only watched people use it to be honest. Guess I've always used Premiere. [snorts] Well, they get Premiere anyway. Yeah, it's um 7.99 to 1999 a month. They're very difficult
to purchase. It's like I don't know. I'm trying to buy um Corsera for a month for a couple seniors so they can claim some certificates on Corsera and it's like you know have to be creative with making a purchase order for that. How about the Linux? They're all going to take their text. Yes. So, Linux is Linux Pro. Linux plus. It's ironic that the Linux Foundation on Cyp testing materials for Linux, which is supposed to be free the way I find a way to Udemy. issues. It's not going to work. So God bless everybody.
