Good afternoon, welcome everyone. We're going to start the meeting at 6. We're careful on the cord. Very well thank you. [clears throat] Good. Ah, welcome. Thank you so much for joining us. Okay, let's begin by calling for order in the schools. Please, representatives from each school, when you hear your name, the name of your school, raise your hand if you can . Let's begin. Who were those people? It was Chent. Thank you. present. This representative of the representative of the representative of Gracias Montev. Thanks, J Sánchez representative, right? Representative of the cousin. Very good. Please let us know when your representatives arrive so we can assist you. Thank you so much. Very good, let's start with the review step of Very good. With these, they have everything in its place. They can review them. Those
are the memories, please. Tell him to agree, the agreements, the agreements, agreements behind the screen. Do you want to reach an agreement and share it with us? Let's choose someone. Choose, choose your school. Hello, good afternoon. And I would like to communicate transparently because I believe that to move forward we need to communicate transparently and be able to reach an agreement. Thank you so much. Anyone else? Anyone else want to share an agreement with us? [laughs] I would like a safe place and your voice to have better communication and hear very well. Anyone else? One more person. one more person, a volunteer. Good afternoon, I am Maidas, director of the school intervenant participate in because it is very important that we are all very involved in all the decisions that take place here. Of course
003. Thank you so much. It won't work , it won't work. Ah, we want to update the agenda. The presentation by the Department of Special Education will not take place this time. Ah, it's going to be at some upcoming meeting. Ah, we would like to know if everyone agrees so we can move on to the next topic. Ah, let's put the vote to a vote. Ah, if everyone agrees, you can go ahead . Someone? Very good. So, sorry, I forgot to call the roll at the table for the vice president. Mrs. Lorena Mendoza is not here; she will arrive a little late. The lady who is the timekeeper was unable to attend an emergency. Alejandra Ruiz, alternative father. I am covering for R who was unable to show up today. Thank you very much. Very
good. Now we move on to the point of the banks and positions of the lady to remove. How many of you want to be up here? In your hand if you would like to be part of Dila's table. Make the hand. I don't see many people who are interested. Next school year we're going to have a vacancy at this table. We are going to have a vacancy for the position of president. Oh, why? Because Mrs. Lorena Mendoza is about to complete her term, that is, she's leaving, it's over, she's fulfilled her term, and in order to be able to have that position again, another person has to be considered, or in order to create that vacancy, one of the other people has to apply. Mrs. Mendoza can do it again as long as they have
the percentage of parents who are parents of English learners. So, if your child is categorized as an English learner, then they can apply. It could also be parents who have children who are reclassified, but we would have to see what percentage is required Right now we have more of a table like Dilat, but if we want to have it like we had it and we pass on DAT, then we would have to have a person with a son or daughter who is learning English. This time we are not going to take the votes today, I am simply giving you a guide, an invitation to apply when the August meeting arrives. At the August meeting, if you want to apply like those who have been here, like Alejandra and Mr. Belmán did, what you have to
do is fill out the slip of paper that is given to you at that meeting, and at the September meeting you come here and introduce yourselves at the microphone, say something about yourselves, why you want to be parents of the Dila board, and how you are going to support the entire community of parents here in the Arizala district. Remember that those who sit up here are like a board of directors; they come here, introduce themselves, and there is order. Ah, um, we have a secretary taking notes, we have our meetings to plan beforehand. The president carries out the agenda when the president is not present, or when the president is the vice president. In this case, it's Lai; we have an alternative mom or an alternative dad who can substitute for anyone who doesn't come
to today's meeting. It is very important that you know that when you apply, we will be giving you more information about what your role would be. Those who are at the table can also apply for the position, for one of the positions that were previously available . Well, we are extending the invitation to you. Being out here is very important, it 's a very important role for all of you and it gives you a voice, a voice that many parents sometimes don't have because they are shy, because sometimes they don't know how to ask, how to question. Ah, sometimes if we say something, they won't understand us. So, this position is very important; it gives you confidence in yourself and a voice to continue helping the community of children who are learners, making it possible
for them to become proficient in English. Okay. Okay, after I said all that, how many of you might be more interested in me than the gentleman said he was ? What else? Who else? Who else would like to be consulted as well? I already have two people who are interested. Everyone already noticed that Arizán and Virginia have shown interest, so , Mr. Berman, please note that in the minutes so we can contact them and encourage them. And if you also see that you are interested, you can do it. And Loya too, because I think I saw Mrs. Klyn there, right? And to Sil. Okay, that's all. Do you have any questions about that? No, they have no questions. Those of you who have just arrived, we are inviting you to apply to be here at
the table. They missed my big speech on how to run for office. [laughs] YouTube. Check it out on YouTube. Okay. There's the recording. Go ahead, then. Okay. Thank you. Of course . And it is very important to be here in front because you are the voice of the parents of your school, the voice of your community. You can help customers who can request support. You know firsthand what you need and all your worries. And who else? Who better than us parents to help? We continue with the next point, which is with Mrs. Bill and the presentation of the speaker from Eca 2026202 and Dr. Fernandez. And Dr. Fernández. Hello, good afternoon everyone. In case I don't remember, Fernández is superintendent. Thank you for being with us today at the last alternate meeting. We have some
very important information for all of you. If you joined us previously, we had several meetings about our local control plan and account selection process to gather your suggestions. Part of the process was to obtain their suggestions and now put them into action to give an update to our current system. Here we have a chart and it tells us a story of who we are as a district, right? We are the school district and we serve more than 7,106 students in two schools. Our vision of equity is based on recognizing and supporting our demographic realities. We all know that we have more than 60% English learners. This is a chart of who our students are. Also, approximately 93% of our students are from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. At the same time, approximately 10% of our students receive
special education services. So, again, this is the AIS story of the students we serve through our schools. And as noted there, the heart of our district is in eastern Salinas, a predominantly agricultural community. Our commitment is to ensure equitable access and better outcomes for all our students. The call to action, our actions, is a response connected to how we are making the standards. So, this is a graph again, if you've been following us, you must have already seen it before, but it's based on different colors and different areas. The progress of our English learners, for example, the largest graph towards reclassification is in the red level and that is not a good color. This is not a failure, it is an urgent opportunity that requires a renewed focus and immediate action. But we know that's
an area of need for us. On this other side, in the small trans graphs we have the suspension tastes. If it's green, it 's good. Just as the climate is color is conceivable. Language arts and mathematics are in yellow and chronic absenteeism is in green. Again, these areas are not a great need, but we do need to be monitoring them so that they guide our actions in our school plan. Again, suggestions are what guide our growth. Between roughly February and May of this year, Tilan members and the school community reviewed the data and shared their perspectives. Your direct feedback transformed our current plan for 2627. That's what you let us know. What we heard was that there is a need for more specific academic interventions in the areas of student need. They also let us
know that we need to increase socio-emotional services and family involvement, what support we are providing to our students in the socio-emotional areas as mentioned, and also towards you as families. And a third part is to strengthen support for English learners, LGB, IoT, integrated and designated within our classrooms. Again, these are the three areas that let us know we need more support. Here in this graphic you can see the educational plan from the year 2627 to our new plan based on the suggestions you have provided us. Its evaluation and intervention, an action from 2025 to 26 1.18 was student tutoring. So, how do we transform past student tutoring into what you have suggested to us? that the tutoring is not general, but that it really has a focus. The Ibery assessment system, for example, is used
in all schools to monitor the progress our students are making in both language arts and mathematics. And in turn, based on those results, our interventions are connected as a response to be more precise, to have more intention in how to help our students. The other area is teaching support. So, we're working with the program—it's not a program, but people come to help our teachers and also our leaders in the schools through West B. There are 2526. Eight schools participated in West B. For our next school year, we have the expansion to both schools to strengthen consistency in the teaching of the language known as IAE. Now, district structure. We previously had the virtual academy and it was closed due to low enrollment. This goal was eliminated to focus resources on the main schools. Since we
don't have this academy, we transformed it, taking the resources from there to other areas, to our different schools. Development number two. Our central focus on English learners, as I already mentioned, we know this is an area of high need for us. We want to guarantee academic success and high-level linguistic development for English learners, who make up a large proportion of our students. The first action, a program that we have is the program for the newly arrived, students who have just arrived and need that support so that they can close that gap. Also specialists in English learning. We have specialists available to provide support. Area three, support for long- term perdici. There are some students who have been here, but for some reason have been able to be reclassified. And area number four, stipends for bilingual
teachers. So, it's extra financial aid provided to bilingual teachers so they can continue helping our students and so we can have a highly qualified staff helping our students again. These are the areas, the four actions based on the apprentice area of the newcomer program which is lion number 2.1 has two important pillars. The first pillar is academic competence. So, what will be offered to these students? Building fundamental skills needed for the grade-level curriculum. Targeted support for grades three through six. Again, close the gap. What can we do for students who have just arrived at our schools? What actions can we take to close that gap and ensure these students have access to the curriculum and grade-level learning? The other area, pillar number two, is social skills. We can assume that these students need extra support,
not only in the academic area, but also socio-inmotivational, right? For that, we have activities to develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging during a critical transition. Again, the change of coming from another country or another school itself and arriving here, we know that can affect your academic performance. That is another area we want to balance with both academic and socio-emotional support. So, if we put these two together, the intention is to have a proactive support network to adapt students to the rigor of regular classes while we navigate their new postural reality. not to give lower grade instruction, but to continue to have them exposed to the same subject, the same expectations, but with additional support. Now, how do we multiply our impact? As I mentioned, we have six specialists; this is action 2.12. The
district has already proactively hired six English learner instruction specialists to provide direct support in schools, and their responsibilities are divided into three areas. These are the three key things that the specialists have: number one, teacher training. Train educators in integrated and designated language development strategies. Reclassification monitoring. to rigorously surpass the progress of students to ensure significant progress towards the goal of fluency in the English language. And number three, family empowerment. Again, we recognize that it is important to have you as partners in the process of supporting our students, and just as we support the students, we are also able to support you in offering workshops and educational support for parents who can actively collaborate in their children's education. Now, for long-term students, we already have actions for newly arrived students, but we also need actions
for our students who have not been able to reclassify as English language clients. So, based on reflections on our practice in the face of what we have done, we have now added, in their differences also in the data to extend and intensify the support of our students. The challenge is that many students get stuck in the reclassification process; they make progress for a few years and then suddenly this progress stops. And the question is how do we continue to support them so that they can eventually break out of that cycle and be reclassified? So that's the challenge. The solution we are proposing is action 2.5, specific interventions to meet the unique needs of long-term English learners and the goal to accelerate the reclassification process before the student progresses to high school. We know that once
they leave our district, it's more difficult for them to reclassify once they enter the system. The sooner we can support them here, give them the skills and help them with their abilities to reclassify, that's ideal. For us here at AIS, bilingualism is also very important and we promote it; we see it as something of value. So the arrest of teachers in turn is important in direct response to parents' preference for the language their children learn, the district is reversing bilingual instruction throughout the district. Of course, we have the strategic marvel that is this additional genero. which is provided to teachers and is actually an economic incentive for highly effective teachers to plan central instruction in both languages. Pay a little more, give them that extra money again , but make sure we have a staff
that is well prepared and trained to help our students. Accessibility also ensures that English learners receive an accessible, high-quality education, both in their native language and in English. And another goal of being able to offer this extra money is growth, promoting better language development, comprehension, and accelerated academic success for our students. For this new school year, this is our commitment. The other thing, the educational control plan is not just a compliance document, it is an action plan developed from your voices and our data. based on what you tell us and your suggestions. Ah, we created, reviewed, and updated our plan in response to that. Together we cultivate the ground for the success of our students. Clear data, continuous monitoring through the new IBY graduation, which I mentioned is already used in all schools to monitor
academic performance, both in the areas of language arts and mathematics. also provide deep support. This is very integral to bringing down new students, known as Newcers, long-term students supported by the assistance and additional PIL of our special and ongoing partnership. Working with you, we continue to strengthen that link between the district of Vila, working together to turn this red indicator, in API, which is the development of our English learning students into a testament to growth and reclassification. Interest [clearing throat] the transaction is concluded . Questions, comments, suggestions. And again we are working on updating our plan based on the information you provide us through surveys and through meeting meetings . Again, thank you so much for participating, because we are listening to your suggestions and that really helps us to know what the areas of
need are for our students, and for you as parents as well. and thus be able to add or update actions and sometimes also actions that are not having the success we are expecting. Hopefully, you can continue to support us in this way, by attending meetings, giving your comments and suggestions so that the plan is based on what you need from us as a district, in supporting our students. Thank you so much. Thank you. Well, for our next school year we would like to hear from you and we would like ideas on topics you would like to cover. Any ideas? Anyone want to share something with us? Ideas like topics, what topics would you like to see presented here next year, or which departments would you like to see present? The importance for this is emotional
state, but more emotional state and security. Ah, the state of Guzmán and I, students and parents and safety in the school and everywhere, and also preparing the supervision in the schools a little more, the supervisors so that they take care of our children, because that apart from parents is this teacher, I think that the stabilization of the training is very important. Yes. And well, I have nothing to say about supervision at my school. I was saying that in their work, but specifically certain schools that don't do their job very well . and some clear ones. Thank you so much for sharing. Is there anyone else with a topic you'd like to discuss? Well, I think I'll correct myself again, as I would like them to refer to one of the schools that would open a
workshop, but not just for the board of directors or anything like that, but for all the schools, so they can see what's important: that our children have and learn both languages. I feel that's very important because sometimes we underestimate what Spanish is, right? So I would like them to put that in people and kind of reinforce that, especially since I was given the doctor's name, you know . So I feel like I would be a very good person to motivate them and show them how important bilingualism is , right? So I think I would like it and I think I can go too. Yes, I have the information. I'm going to put the name here . I'm going to have a lot recorded for the next account and try for someone else. Anyone else? Topics,
topics that they would like to see, because we work with the table and they give us ideas, but we also want to hear from the parents representing the schools about their ideas or a topic that you would like to mention, it's that I haven't learned much about it, I'm curious. This year, the table was curious about how the teachers supported each other. Ah, in the schools the lady came to present on how the instructional coaches, the instructional coaches, come to support the teachers. also special education. The study also presented on what her department does and what Chan is and everything that comes with that and makes coming [laughs] the food a little bit of proposals or maybe also as they taught that there is also refito that we have to follow when we give food
to someone else more ideas for other other topics. Okay, let's hear from our representative from Montevella. I think it would be a good idea to bring in someone who can talk about positive discipline strategies for the case, how to support their behavior in a positive way and support them in that moment. Very good. Okay. Okay, I'm going to give someone the opportunity to take the microphone from me and suggest another topic they want to learn about. Speak to me today or I'll ask you again in August . [laughs] If you don't think of anything right now, this would be a good idea, like going back to the school table and talking it over with your team. We talked about these topics today. So, what kind of topics would you as parents like to see brought
up ? Uh, I love the idea of nutrition and if it can go hand in hand with prevention. We are in the midst of an epidemic of diabetes in children. So I think that everything about nutrition in general is a good topic. I quite enjoyed the training sessions. I think the staff in general do need training, from customer service to how to treat a person, for example, right? It is very important. And how does one feel? Whether one feels welcome or not. These topics are very important. Uh, yes, definitely in terms of supervisors, uh, to have a little more training on how to assess a situation, because sometimes they just look at what they see and don't evaluate everything. So, yes, there are many topics there that would be good. Um, also regarding reclassification issues,
what are the steps? Yes, parents know that their students have to be classified and sometimes they have to be done in different ways, like a series, because sometimes there is so much information that some things need to be separated a little. These are very good topics that refer to the table of motivators in matters of the importance of learning more than one language. Uh, it doesn't have to be Spanish, it can be other topics, other languages too, right? Uh, maybe some language, a language plus a mother tongue, maybe that way we could bring something like hard. Before we continue, does anyone have another idea, a comment, or anything they'd like to hear about? And if not, take it to your school council and bring them back for the next one, because the new school year
starts in August. Bring your ideas. Uh, we need you as parents to help us support your student. Yes, if you could please take it back and bring us more information, we would be very grateful. Forward. Um, I don't know if we're ready for them yet. Also, and most importantly, support for sports and communities to keep them very active. Thank you. I also believe in the importance of reclassification. Ah, many parents don't know what happens if their children don't reclassify after leaving sixth grade and entering high school. Ah, they have to take extra English classes. They have the opportunity to take other classes such as art or languages they might want to learn. I think it would be very important to emphasize what the consequences are of a child not reclassifying at an early age, because
when they get to middle school, to high school, the exams are very difficult, not impossible, but very challenging. And as parents we have the obligation to know and support them so that they can represent. That's how it is. It's a very good topic. Well, they lose a lot of the possibility of getting another resume, other opportunities to pursue other things, and also the barriers of a university. So it's very important to know why it's important that they dry, right? Very good topics. Ah, does anyone want to add anything else before... Ah, I'd like to add that with reclassification, it's also important that even if they're reclassified, they continue to grow and don't fall behind. Because when they move on to high school, they also look at the AHC exam, and depending on whether they're reclassified
and still perform poorly on the exams, they give them extra English and reading classes. That was my experience; my child was reclassified in fourth grade, and when they entered seventh grade, they gave them supplemental English and reading classes. One of my questions was why they were given those classes, and I understand they've already been reclassified. But it's because they also look at the exam results, so that when they're reclassified, they continue to grow, maintain high reading, structure, and other skills. Another topic, perhaps as mentioned, is the training of the staff in case of an emergency, for example, a fracture, or an emergency involving a SEER. They are trained... CPR, are the supervisor and teachers trained, how much staff is prepared as well. Okay. Many parents also don't know that after their child is classified, the
children are followed for 4 years to verify that the child does not lose weight. If the child drops to their level, you have to give them more help so they can maintain that level or raise it. a workshop that I took at some point two years ago was a walk to the university. That workshop is excellent. I would like him to bring it. Ah, that's not it. That workshop helps us understand the importance of children starting with reclassification from the bottom up, that the foundations are solid, that they are elementary so that they can get to university, that we don't have to wait until they get to middle school or high school to participate in university, but that this has to be learned from elementary school. Okay, those are very good topics. This one, many
Ah, I loved that one from the university route, I also took it a few years ago. Yes, it's something that I think we 've brought up in some suggestions, and also, as the new school year begins, it's going to be time for more parents to get involved in issues related to what's coming in the next 3 years. So it's going to be very important to have more people involved, and even each school representative, if we're going to need more of them, so they can consider that. Their contribution makes a big difference, doesn't it? Your information, any information that comes from you, ideas that come from you, that you bring to your table and bring information, maintaining that communication, right? Clara Nuclaua helps our children to excel much more, right? I think that's the point of
being here, to learn more about how this budget works, why it exists, and where it comes from, and perhaps to re-evaluate certain things that are or aren't working. How are you, Hber? How's Hberry doing? It's something very new, but I think next year is a good time for this. Someone else has a comment. Do you want to get closer to the microphone, or would this be your last comment? Thank you. Well, this one is currently called Dr. Medina. Yes, but also, right now, I was watching the programs and all that, looking at how some parents, you say, have power and all that. Right now I'm wondering, I'm wondering, really, how much of an impact do we have? How much power do we have? Because we already went to the board meeting, right? This is to
place an order for a shade at our school. TRUE? So we do want to see how much of our voice is here, or when you're coming and going there, but we don't see how much of it is left, we want to see how much of it is ours, what percentage of it is us giving our opinions and all that, because sometimes we even ask, ' Hey, maybe come so you don't get married.' And it is discouragement. It's there, it's there, it's there, but no, come on, let's do this. Yes, but you can't see anything, you can't see anything. So, what I think we want is for things to be done, not just talked about, right? Like they say, I'll go up to 10, right? So, something that is clear and that things are fulfilled, that
is, that is, that is fulfilled, right? So I want to see, I'd like to know what kind of impact we have on that with the father. That's the follow-up, right? Follow-up. Uh-huh. Answers. Answers. Thank you so much. It is very important, ary. Thank you so much. We're taking note and we'll be passing by now. Thank you so much. Thank you. They're going to translate for the others. Yes, we have it here for translation because we're going to need the presentation or commentary to be done in English. They can take a translator if they need one. They have all their equipment. Perfect. Masic working, please, with the technical problems. If they can hear us. I think this means every single I have been here with and I'm so excited. So we made something new this year.
We made a one major and it was everything that Dr. Fernandez went over when she was sharing the updates of our but we did it in a flyer form and this was a way for us to share exactly what um changes may be made or what uh where our focus was and then where our money is working. Everything is heard in translation. Hello, please stop turning up the volume. I can translate it. It seems that the machine is a little bit broken, but you can turn up the volume on the device. Yes, you can turn it up. Can you hear me? Oh, okay. All right. So, we did a one-pager. We called it our road map. It talks a little bit about equity and excellence for our students. And we did this so that we
can have them available at school sites parents can share them and we can make them available on social media as well as our websites to be to have a document that we can all go back and refer to versus the 185 page LC which is a very long tedious documentary video. So some of the things that we highlighted earlier you'll see that we have our demographics 93.1% % sociy disant 61.5% learners 95.8% 8% students we use that back and all of the feedback gave us in LA meetings as well meetings and we compare that with our current health draft our money and we came up with our strategic focuses so for us we wanted to make sure that we were putting the money where you to put the money and so you see highlighted there
an investment in equity in OMC schools $60 the total LCF supplemental and concentration grants and in our health currently our total plant expenditures for the contributing actions go to 35895,202 listening supplement the funding to support. This really is being invested in what we talked about excellence and instruction looking at tier one instruction plus I looked at social social emotional learning SL programs for investment and then we also look at strategic budget solvency. It's important that we are spending our money where we said we were going to and it differs a little bit than the money you had in front of you because I have English in front of me. safe inclusive environments and academic and personnel experiences. Each one of these leads down our roadway of providing top quality education to each one of our
students. So this will be available to you post LCAP approval when we make sure that the LCA is finalized and this will be available and like we said also in digital formats. question this will be once is approved on the next um June 3d after June 3rd be available after June 24th June 3d is our public hearing June 24th is when the board will state action to approve the alpha and at that point in time we'll make this approved we make the form clean up because there's no changes and then we'll make sort of a work with communications So that sent out. We really wanted our goal is to have a document that every single person in our community can speak to versus trying to decipher that 185 page document that I thank you. Ok
with you. Okay, thank you very much for that presentation. Now you know, the 3rd, or rather after June 24th, is going to be the approved trip, we'll be able to find it on social media. Do you have any comments? But it seems that they're asking if the poster that was just shown to us will be available for printing , right? Enter and it will be available on social media once it is approved. So, right now it's a draft, a copy, a rough draft, it's not finished, it 's not approved. So, first it has to go through the board meeting which will be next month. And then after the 24th is when we'll be able to see it on social media. I imagine that if you don't have access, the district can provide a copy or
the school can also request that it be printed. I think it will be available this way. Okay, now let's move on to one point. Oh, thank you very much. Yes, thanks. Oh, if you had the opportunity to get the printed presentation from Alsa USD Expanded Learning, I'm not going to go through all of them because you have them in front of you, but I do want to draw your attention to the programming that will be taking place this summer, ah, the summer camp which will be from June 8 to July 10, from 8 to 5. Oh, and you can scan it for more information and to register. We want to remind you that there are places for our students to be learning this summer, and it is very important that you spread the word. And
there will also be one, we remind you that the After School program for the coming year 2026 2027 is something we want you to start registering for today so that we can prepare and have all the classrooms ready so that when we start the school year we already have an idea of how many students will be participating. And now I want to pass the floor to Mr. Marvin Martinez, who will be there behind us, and who will teach us how to use it. So right now, if we're going to take turns, we're going to line up so that Mr. Marvin can show us this instrument that's in the back and explain a little bit about how it works. I will also comment on the instructions for your program or the school situation for the coming
new year. If you are having difficulties with registration, remember that we have additional resources, resource centers available, and we also have community halls for support because it can be a little complicated to get there. It's practical once you figure out how to do it, but it is a little complicated. So remember, there is assistance available at this center and in your community rooms, please let us know if you need any help with the instructions. Thank you so much. Ready. Now, for those parents who haven't had the opportunity to come in here, please come back and we'll take turns entering the office in a very coordinated way. Good afternoon. Let's look at the calendar; we can take a row now. We can let in about 20 people at a time, or we won't all go in
so we don't waste the air for the planetarium. Planetary. Take advantage of this before you only had the opportunity to do it by going to the local school, where not many people have that opportunity, so we have our own planetariums. So if you need it at your school, talk to your teachers , or rather, talk to your principal, and ask them to bring it to your school, perhaps through the after- school program, because it does need to be someone who is trained to be able to do it. But this is part of the science and our curriculum for distributors; it's something they can do, and how wonderful that we as JEADES can have that opportunity. So take advantage, the tests and you have been what you want. Thank you. I apologize and would like to
thank Mrs. Anson who is with us today. I welcome you to the start of the meeting. Excuse me, but welcome and a surprise for joining us to take care of the querlos too. At the time it is, because I didn't say, go see the gift, go. Let's see this. That's all. late. Excuse me if you can take a minute. Last month's grades are in your style. Oh, if you don't have it, let us know. They're behind. Yes, please, we need to take a few minutes to pick them up. If you have a few minutes to take care of the rest, please. Thank you. Oh no. Does anyone have any comments on the minutes? Is there anyone who doesn't want to comment on something they disagree with regarding the minutes? He was present on April 28th.
Okay, let's make that correction and [laughs] I can read it. I say I'm absent and my first emotion [laughs] her first emotion. Excuse me, and that's why it's also important to do the reviews in the minutes, because sometimes we miss certain things, so that's why it's important, right? To review it. And if anyone has no other comments, we will make the corrections. Once this is done, we will test the corrections. First, the first motion says... What do you mean, "me"? Ah, there is one without the th without. First Lisb L S B E Thank you very much to both Lisbe Santos. Lisbe. Okay, I already did it. What else? Okay, let's make the corrections and present them at the next meeting to test this and finalize the minutes. It is the only correction. That 's
the only correction. The absence of the one who was present was marked as absent at the height. And we're going to change the name too. And from there, if there is anyone interested in applying for the new school year in August, uh, bring it to the table, talk to them about it, you have n't had your last meetings yet, uh, introduce them. There are opportunities to be part of this excellent table, and also to motivate you to keep coming and be part of this council, right? So, it's important, please spread the word here, we need to fill those positions in the future. Thank you very much. Do you have any comments? Claudia has something to present. Thanks for having a little bit of time. Julio, can you help me by putting up the district's website?
So, I just wanted to share with you that we have a lot of information on our website, which sometimes we haven't taken the time to show you, but there's a lot of information and one of them I wanted to show you, well, first of all, you already saw in the kick, there's our department of services to the residents, because two events in which the program stood out were " Want to be there," sir, they wanted to be there. And if you want to change the site's language, ah, Julio, you can go up there where it says select language, you can put Spanish. Ah, you can only find this, well, Mr. Castro already found it. And then when you type "spanish" there, the whole site changes to Spanish, right? So it's in the schools, the registration,
etc., etc. But something I wanted to show you is this: if you scroll down a little bit, Mr. Castro, please, where it says "ah, district calendar." There are 12 or 13 calendars in the district calendar , right? There is the district calendar which has all the events that are happening in the district. There are holidays, there are board matters, there are DAX meetings, there are when we're going to celebrate other kinds of things. For example, there was this excellence at night in Franola, sometimes we can also find it. There's going to be a cultural management evening at Montebrella, but if you want specific events from your school, you can also look it up in the specific calendars on the right, right? We have events from all the schools, we also have calendars of family resources
and extended learning, which is a very extensive calendar because it has all the activities in all the schools and even on weekends. So, I just wanted to let you know that we have this resource in the district so you can get information about what's happening in the district. Thank you, ma'am. Thank you very much, Claudia. So, I'm just going to add something regarding the following groups, if they are interested in being part of the table, just a small summary of why, why they would like to, just so that they can prepare and come forward as parents so that they don't catch us by surprise because it is something that we are going to ask them to do here, right? You have to do something basic, why it's important for you to be part of our
Pilate committee. And with that, we've wrapped up the school year. Thank you so much for coming. I hope you enjoyed the planetarium, which is fascinating. I was very impressed by that. And so we're going to wrap this up. by the at 7:23. See you. Uh, the next meeting will be on August 18th, which is a Tuesday. So, with that we closed at 7:23. Thank you so much. Have a good night, enjoy your vacation.
