002please snapped the photo and then have a seat thank you so before I get started and our students have some wonderful performances for you today I do want to thank our staff our teaching staff thank you Mr raris [Music] Miss Carlos and then of course you want to thank Mr Lane for supporting me with the Dual language program and then our homeland teachers Mrs Tran and Miss Picasso [Applause] our kindergarten students today came in many of them came in as TKS and they were the first to return after the pandemic they got to engage in the programming we've designed here at Painter with steam lessons for all grades Athletics art and dance they've had a rich educational beginning and we're happy to continue that programming into the future here at painter Elementary we're deeply honored
003by all of you parents and family members for coming out to join us here at painter Elementary especially for those of you coming from outside of the district and those of you here to establish one of the very first Vietnamese dual language immersion programs in Northern California thank you as we launch that state are now currently safe recognizable language immersion program this group has contributed to one of the largest kindergarten classes that speaks to the teaching and learning that we're doing here and the engagement of all of you family members who recognize that here at painter were doing something different we're innovating and we're pioneering learning our students will be promoting into regular the regular day as first graders after this ceremony and we encourage all of our our families to take advantage of the
004opportunity to explore which program option they would like to enroll in for that first grade year as a reminder our programs here are open to all students of all backgrounds and at all language abilities and the choice is yours after today so let's go ahead and move on to the next part of our agenda here and we have some performances that our teachers and students have been preparing for on this momentous day thank you [Music] [Applause] oh ah [Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you [Applause] [Music] oh my God [Music] thank you [Music] [Applause] come on tonight [Music] [Applause] thank you oh all right one more round of applause thank you again so we'll now be presenting our certificates of promotion each student will receive a scroll with uh the instructions on on where to receive their
