008i just want to have ms i guess mr carlos tripoli one of our spanish language interpreters just give us a quick announcement since we've changed to um a new way of having our interpretation done this is something that everyone will need to get used to each month so mr tripoli can you explain briefly the process that we all need to do regardless of language my pleasure is for all the english speaking uh audience there is the english and spanish selection for interpretation for english speakers please make sure that you click on the world map or the world icon and select english and also make sure also that to mute the original audio if it's in spanish but it's in english make sure that your settings are in english thank you okay thank you thank you

011on item 3.03 the evaluation of a public employee superintendent dr bauer in support of her continued leadership of the alum rock union school district we all know that we are in unprecedented times and right now we need steadfast leadership and continuity to guide our students and our families through this crisis she has been known to be expansive in her vision working with partners throughout the county and in my 15 years of working with the alum rock school district with various non-profits i've had my share of working with different superintendents who have led this district and it wasn't until dr bauer joined the team that there was an opening to actually build strong foundations and partnerships with other people within the community this has yielded under her leadership and with these partnerships great financial and in-kind
012resources brought into the district we see an increase in after-school programs enrichment programs technology early education social emotional and restorative justice family support in the form of family resource centers and the growing dual imagine dual immersion programs with the recent addition of the vietnamese dual immersion program with your partnership as a board you've also been able to move ethnic studies have taken a bold stance in cutting police contracts and restored accountability trust and fiscal responsibility we now see award-winning schools and programs and stronger external relationships and better partnerships now i'm not i'm not one to say that more work cannot be done but in a time of crisis that no one knows we must be stable and continue to work together to address the persistent racial and social justice inequities that are inherent in public
