031to know how we are involving parents and teachers in this decisions that are related to our students and how you're addressing the special ed student needs as for now not every student has been able to get access to the assignments computer or hotspot as well as I been hearing translation has been a huge issue for many of our parents as a parent I believe mutual collaboration and communication to be able to thrive even at these moments we would like to offer our help to address this issue and keep working in a community spirit thank you thank you so before we take action I'd also just wanted to have a couple comments first of all obviously I echo the sentiments of everyone who has spoken very obviously these are unprecedented times for all of us and
032I appreciate the comment made by trustee Alouette about just how things change almost on have been at some times changing on the hour and it's a very fluid situation and in coordinating with legal counsel and and dr. Bower and staff to try to get something set even for the last regular meeting and this meeting and I assume the future may be to try to get something set and then have a change come down and then we need to adapt and make modifications to the new orders it has been challenging but I really want to thank our staff who's been seemingly working around the clock to get things lined up all of us have been asked to change our entire lives our entire work and everything we do almost overnight and so it's not easy to
033coordinate that as individuals with their own families but also with a fairly large organization and so there's learning to be had still in with regards to communication and parent involvement and and coordinating efforts of you know teachers and everybody else that there's this room to go and we all have room to learn but I don't believe that there's anyone more prepared from it for this then our resilient Allen rock community that's who we are that's what we do and I'm confident that we will get there I also want to make sure not to I don't want to be remiss and forget to thank our volunteers I know several of us have the opportunity to go out to the food distribution that we that we've been having for our students and families and in talking to
