completely different person three things i learned through these four years and let me make it as advice for you and for everyone who feels lost three things three pieces of advice challenge love and learn we all got through this hard time with this pandemic we all changed and learned and have the courage to move on right now i'm glad that i'm here with you guys all safe and happy and now i'll let you guys ask yourself about what is the most important thing for you in this life for me it's love because it's the thing it is the only thing it's easy to hate it's easy to fear it's hard to love it's not optional it's essential it's life or death so i challenge you to love each other every second every minute and every
day and please please be around when other people need someone to lean on [Music] the human stays learning until the end of his life so don't waste your time and learn as much as you can learn and learn and learn because learning is the only thing that no one could take it from you so challenge love and learn thank you [Applause] and now i would like to introduce our final senior speaker jocelyn hernandez jocelyn will be attending vinegar university in the fall majoring in nursing upon completion of her degree she would like to become a patriotic nurse practitioner it is my pleasure to introduce our final speaker today jocelyn hernandez thank you farah we have all been waiting for this day we counted months weeks days hours and now we are here we did it

proud of how far we've come this is just the beginning of our future for many of us we are extremely excited to move on to the next chapter of our lives some of us don't know what comes next but what we do know is that we need to go out there and keep being who we are no matter how amazing or unfortunate these past four years have been for us what is important to know is that you can't go back and change the beginning but you can start where you are now and change the ending bienvenidos personas is [Music] i would now like to introduce our principal mr pulley [Applause] thank you denise farah jocelyn for those kind words and encouragement for the class of 2021 savannah high school is an amazing place it's one

interviews you all gave a few weeks back you have grown in many ways and you are ready for the world more important is the fact that this group of seniors has demonstrated why they're in a league of their own when it comes to accomplishments they have certainly become personally and academically accountable as evidenced by the number of students receiving academic honors 93 20 more than last year congratulations they have displayed good sportsmanship as well during their competitions they have shown how to be globally aware and culturally competent and engaged in their community as civic minded citizens this class helped savannah earn the civic learning award of excellence last year and we are tremendously thankful students as you reflect on your four years at savannah high school one thing is clear you have grown in your
knowledge and skills and this growth has set you apart during your years of high school you have been challenged and you might have struggled at times but with this struggle came the opportunity to learn from one another from your colleagues from your teachers and from those that care most about you what you learned was how to persevere how to persist and to ultimately how to succeed again i want to remind you all that you are ready for college career and life and we know you will go on to do great things in the community nation world congratulations class of 2021 we have now approached what we have been waiting for presenting diplomas to our graduates will be board of trustees member miss anne marie trejo and board of trustees member mr al jabbar announcing the
