back to order for open session at 6 04 pm we will start with the flag salute in recognition of free speech and the following board agenda item we welcome all and would like to note that saying the pledge of allegiance is not a requirement to participate in the business of this public board if you do not say the pledge for religious political social or personal reasons you are most welcome here as an equal participant participant in the business of this board so for those who would like to do the pledge please rise i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all a lot of free speeches out there okay there was no action

taken in closed session so moving on to uh the adoption of the agenda um i would like to start by pulling a couple of items from the consent agenda i would like to pull um item 2 24 25 and 26. move to approve the agenda with items pulled from consent item number two 24 and 26. all right and do i have a second second okay i don't think i said the right numbers 2 2 24 25 and 26. okay and we have a second second okay so um because we don't have a everyone here we'll do a roll call vote uh mr mason aye trustee pope aye trustee anderson aye trustee kelly aye and chair votes i the agenda is adopted okay organization reports uh c-u-t-a vanessa mayske hello good evening uh last night cta

began voting on the proposed salary schedule agreement that we have with the district tentative agreement and in the last 24-hour period since voting opened 50 of our members have voted already so hopefully it's a good sign we won't know until friday when it closes and then tomorrow night cuta is having a um we're hosting a teacher party and so it's a great time for all of the teachers to get together outside of the school day and what else was i going to say i think that's it any question where are you going private location undisclosed undisclosed location at 4 30. we just want to send something for you schools credit union thank you carol for the contact for school's credit union they'll be attending the standard insurance is coming california casualty and then we also

opened it up for any teachers or their spouses who have home businesses so they have the option of having tables set up at the event too well fun sounds fun all right thank you very much are you sure we can't know the location [Laughter] okay do we have a report from csea and i spoke with miss knott and she did not have a report tonight okay moving right along um reports presentations csba equity network and west ed update um there we go so one of the things the board had uh been talking about for the last year year and a half was the uh two board members and myself joining the csba equity network to take a look uh at the processes and policies that we're doing as it relates to equity and so uh

miss kelly uh trustee kelly and myself have attended two sessions uh we have two more left and then i was going to go ahead and briefly just turn it over to miss kelly to see if she wanted to add and then i'll jump in if there's something else but our point tonight is really just to kind of give you an update that we've been going and it's been going well and we wanted to just let you keep it on your mind thank you so yeah we've attended two meetings we've been anticipating this network for quite some time so we're very excited to be involved we've had two meetings most of what we've discussed at these meetings is terminology level setting making sure that everybody understands why we're there what the what the purpose is finding

out where people are in various um arenas like you know do they have an equity statement do they have an equity policy have they started doing anything like west end what what exactly where is everybody um and happy to report that we're right in in the mix you know we're we're actually a little bit ahead of the curve on some of it we have a policy and the nice thing about our policy is that west ed who's going to be doing our equity work uh internal like our operational equity work um they've reviewed our policy and came back with a really strong review for it doesn't mean there's not room for improvement um definitely at the upcoming meetings from the equity network we're anticipating or hoping that we will be digging deeper into what uh

policies we have in place and um how to improve those so one another thing that's going to be happening with west ed is i'm going to be participating so i'm excited about that um and then the west ed uh committee or the equity committee will be reviewing the policy and providing their feedback as well so we definitely will have some work to do as far as upgrading and updating our equity policy creating an equity statement etc one of the things that the we're anticipating will happen with the equity west ed equity committee is that we will be uh conducting a r root cause root cause analysis which is great because it will really dig deep into some uncomfortable conversations and find out you know where we have work that needs to be done and this

is the same type of work that's being done for other districts who have been identified as having disproportionate outcomes disparate outcomes and they have been kind of put on probation with the state so to speak but the first thing that they do is a root cause analysis so we don't anticipate that we would ever be put on probation we're we've always been a very equitable forward district and intend to be even more so but if they're doing a root cause analysis i think that's a great place for us to start as well so i'm excited about that happening and then i just wanted to say uh kudos to mr superintendent lear and the staff because we've had just a few brief conversations input from community about equity we immediately added it to the superintendent's goals

for the year and lo and behold they're charging forward with a great plan using west ed and so uh kudos to them and thank you and i'm excited for what's to come that's right that was a lot yeah and i i just a couple other tidbits to add uh one of the things that as we learned as we went through the the equity sessions with csba was we actually were one of the few that had a policy um so we thought that was kind of interesting because i think at least kelly and i as we went through it at first we thought we were going to be alone without one and then as we move forward our hope is that they'll give us some guidance on looking at our policy analyzing to see what what's

what we could improve on um and then as it moves to west ed just to kind of let let folks know that we're really excited i compliment our team there's a smaller kind of leadership team within that there's five of us really working behind the scenes the last three two months as we started working with dr browder from uh west ed and as kelly pointed out we did share our policy with her and i was a little nervous but she did come back with some very positive feedback and she has a nice way and hopefully at some point she'll come here and share with the board but she's a really nice way of saying yeah it's really good but you know we could tweak this or that and it just makes you feel good about

you're like well we feel really great about that um and then the the last part is our first meeting we're holding with our wested equity group is october 12th it's an all-day session and we will come away from there starting to identify our outcomes goals and kind of a timeline for that and with west said we've we've identified this is not just this year this is going to be a multi-year uh process so with that we just want to give an update on where we were just to make sure it's in the forefront of people's minds i just want to say great job kelly for your report and yours too mr lair i'm sorry is it okay to speak absolutely um and going forward with west ed i think it's very important because we've always

worked on diversity and you know improving is always a good thing nothing's perfect so thank you to you and your team and thank you miss kelly for going to the workshop i knew um dr lee was supposed to go and i don't know if she's you know changed her mind on attending any other meetings i know she cancelled all five but yeah i think it just it became a conflict for her that's unfortunate one thing i also wanted to add i'm sorry was that part of what was so great about the two meetings we have had is the interaction with the other districts and finding out you know what barriers and challenges they're facing what solutions they've come up with best practices and so it's been really informative in that sense so just yeah and

the other thank you miss pope for letting me think a moment while you were speaking there yeah the the other thing is is there is a board uh reflection sheet kind of just to normalize where we think we are as a board and superintendent and so i'll uh probably share out in a friday communication what that is and then if you're comfortable i'll have each of you fill it out submit it back to me or miss kelly and then we'll aggregate it and then just share the results not i mean anonymous so we'll just kind of share where we are and it's all with an equity lens of how do we work together i think there's six six to eight questions so i'll share that out and then if anyone has questions i'm happy to

do it but um it was interesting we had a nice dialogue with other districts and superintendents and boards that were doing it it was interesting because everyone kind of rated differently and then it was like well is it from my perspective or is it from a whole group as a board but really it's trying to work as a united team on any topic and that's that's a big thing with csba obviously is a united board is the best uh approach this is just to clarify that self-assessment is for the board we're not sending it out to everybody else so just just is this for sac county or the whole state of california it's for the whole state very nice okay well thank you guys very much appreciate it next up we have positive behavioral interventions

and supports pbs overview with chris perez it's on now okay thank you for having me uh back this month to talk about pbis so i'm going to be going over pbis which as you mentioned is positive behavioral interventions and supports which is being implemented in the district across the district we'll talk about that this year if you want to post that form um so the purpose of pbis and you guys have this in your packets is to make schools more effective and equitable for students it's really about creating expectations when it comes to behavior and even dives in a little bit to academics and social emotional awareness but making those predictable consistent positive so you're creating a safe environment not just for your kids but for your staff as well and really pbis is a

framework it's not a program that you implement and then in the next day in the next week the next month everybody acts perfectly it is something that you are continuously going through a cycle of inquiry and making better and we'll talk about how we're doing that in a district in just a moment um it is evidence-based and it is for all kids we follow a tiered program uh that starts with involving all students at all grade levels at all schools this is that continuum of decision making that we look at so when we talk about pbis it really follows that multi-tiered systems of support model where you have tier 1 supports at all schools where that's going to hit about 80 percent of your students you deliver it to them but about 80 percent of

your students are going to respond to that there will be some more supports for about 15 percent of your students in that yellow area and then those students that really need those intensive supports pbis provides that and schools are working towards developing those this is just a brief snapshot this was taken from august of 2020 about how many schools are using it you see back in 2000 uh that number has risen uh in 2020 29 000 schools using pbis and then that's greater than 30 of all schools nationwide and really pbis is meant to do these seven things really make reductions in problem behaviors uh increase academic performance we know that if students are in class that's the number one predictor for them to do well including increased attendance student perception of safety i know

our students just took their panorama survey which gave us some results that we're also going to be looking at but pbis goal is to make sure that students feel safe on campus and then with teachers and staff members giving them the ability to handle minor behaviors in class and that really creates that teacher efficacy and hopefully our teachers want to stay at our schools because we have such great programs in place and such perfect kids this is just a model of what our implementation is looking like here in center we work with placer county office of education to train uh and implement in three different tiers so we'll talk about how each where each school is on this development but in year one you really look so for example we have three schools in year

one right now last year they went through year one training uh with placer county they all took teams uh and they're implementing their behavior expectations their rewards incentives and then some of their other protocols this year some of our other schools are in that year two and year three where they're offering their those more intensive supports for those students that need them so this is what some of our behavior matrix looks like these are elementary schools as you see our dragons at dudley they soar so they safety first own their choices they're always kind and respect and then you have north country spinelli and oak hill and their expectations and mottos up there as well pbis also lives in our secondary schools so as you can see their center high school who are fierce proud

and united and then over at riles they follow the husky code which is be safe be responsible and be respectful here is what the implementation looks like here in the district as i mentioned we have three schools that are going through tier one implementation right now that's dudley oak hill that shouldn't say wilson's serials that's a mistake but that should say spinelli so spinelli sorry i'm reading this whole thing wrong those are our tier one and two trained so those three schools dudley oak hill and wilson sea riles have they've been doing this for a little longer they have tier two programs in place for students the tier one schools those three schools i mentioned earlier are implementing their tier one now that's center high school spinelli and north country mcclellan will be going through

tier 1 training now and they will be implementing in the fall of next year and then we are still figuring out a plan for our rex fortune site and how they're going to roll out their implementation when they kick off in the fall of 23. so pbis is an incentives based program so it's really rewarding students for exhibiting pro-social behavior and positive behavior we have been training staff as we go all certificate of staff have been trained at each site so that like those three schools that we talked about who are implementing tier one now their teachers were trained at the beginning of the year dudley oak hill spinoli north country all trained placer county came in and trained some of their classified folks at the beginning of the year i was fortunate enough to

work with our amazing bus driving staff we trained back in august had a wonderful day with them i'm conducting a paraeducator training for all of our instructional specialist staff uh coming up next week so some of those incentives that we talk about unfortunately i didn't bring any of uh of tonight but dudley has their sword tickets so when students uh exhibit the behaviors that they're supposed to they get rewarded with these incentives across the board there at oak hill they're receiving otter dollars spinelli tiger tickets center high school has gone really innovative and they've gone to the tech side so theirs are all digital so i'm actually going to ask miss woods and ms mr ferguson they actually scan through a five-star program so all of our cougars who are here tonight they are demonstrating

being proud in the community and really representing chs so they're going to come around and scan your tickets you're going to do it quietly because you're not going to interrupt me um but they're going to scan and give you guys points for incentives with for the student showing up tonight and you guys can do that as i continue to talk yeah so the last thing that i did want to talk about um pbis has behaviors behavior expectations for all kids to use as a scene when students don't meet those behaviors i'll let you guys so this is actually a really cool system where teachers can automatically scan their points to go towards their incentives which is what we're doing now they can scan their id cards uh and they can return those rewards for rewards

later make sure you scan his card we'll get riley later i'm sorry chris that's okay so we're going to talk about swiss which is our system that we put our referrals in so when students don't show those behaviors we have an integrated system that we use for our behavior management it is in line with pbis and the really cool thing about swiss is it allows us to run these reports so we have core reports which you can run referrals by time location day month any of these things that really give us the ability to pinpoint behaviors so for example somebody might say well the cafeteria it's crazy right so we can say the who what when where and why wow so they get credits for being here for their um i mean riley i said

brian thank so getting back to these core reports um each school has a tier one team that looks at this data they're going to start really looking at heavily in october when we have a lot of data they can look at these and pinpoint issues that are going on to make changes so they can devise interventions based on what's really happening at the school rather than making guesses those are really meant for these drill down reports as well and one of the really beneficial things and we were talking about equity earlier is swiss allows us to run equity equity reports so you can see these three reports that we run the risk index you can run the percentage of students within a certain group that have at least one referral uh a risk ratio ratio

so that's the likelihood that one group would get a referral compared to another and then rates by group so you can run any of your subgroups and say how how likely is it that that subgroup will receive a referral compared to other groups as well um so that's going to take place i am currently heading the district-wide pbis team we meet monthly uh we are going to start looking once we get data at those reports on our sites and like ms kelly stated earlier start having some of those tough conversations about what our data really looks like if there is disproportionality there and then those folks will be able to take that back to their tier one teams at their sites so that's swiss that's pbis in a nutshell over the district are there any

questions no questions just exciting stuff very exciting it seems to have changed a little bit from when mr jackson was here there's a little more data that you have presented is that all just because of the training and they keep on implementing new ideas yeah and your presenter i just gave you a lot more information and the presenter mr jackson was amazing yeah you're better i'm not going to say i did better but i did flip just fine thank you guys thank you mr barassi you didn't know we had so much fun at these meetings did you committee updates curriculum instruction and special education update with mr mike jordan good evening hey mr ferguson miss woods i think these fine students should get another scan and another uh vote in the raffle another ticket all

in favor say aye see i agree all right so our quick uh curriculum instruction and special ed update uh just let you know our i-ready testing is done for the fall semester our administrators all got together we've been analyzing the data it's also at the school sites now so that the teachers are analyzing their site data sites are also analyzing their sbac data and developing plans to move forward with that we did join a study a nationals or excuse me a statewide study uh with the company that does iready where they're comparing i-ready scores and s-back scores to see the correlation so we'll get our results from that in a few months that's exciting we're finalizing our c-tig grant and you'll see the buildings are are in full shape coming in right here they put

the foundations in today so we're excited for that our mca program met today they are going to be moving towards an ict information communications technology pathway which is what this building is going to be for and that should be open at the beginning of next school year so that's exciting we're also pleased to announce that the williams law curriculum audits came through a couple of our school sites and all of them uh came out with uh flying colors so that's absolutely fantastic that's that that's all to the principals and the staff they did a good job and maintenance uh and in special education we have added a new psychologist for our preschool we have an influx of three-year-olds uh that are coming in so there's a lot of testing going on uh we've also added

a vcba which is a board certified behavior analyst that's going to be working with our housed at the free school but working with our preschool kids center high school as well as riles we've added an arms counselor erms is educationally related mental health services we've added another council that's going to be helping out with our our students with ieps in the counseling area we have trained up all our special education staff on the new wyatt 4 we've scheduled monthly pair educator workshops those are scheduled throughout the whole year topics include things like google accessibility pbis that you just heard about and reinforcing behavior supports for secondary setting and then finally our special ed students uh we have two special ed teachers who are working with our independent study special ed students uh and they're doing

a fantastic job they're using edge annuity i ready and unique uh to individualize the instruction for our independent study students and then finally from our health services uh campus clinic is scheduled to start on september 26th they'll be housed up here they'll offer a full range of services including they're all free to our families including immunizations uh wellness checks uh all kinds of stuff uh which is going to be fantastic for our community and just to reiterate it's going to be sports physicals as well sports physicals they're going to do eye testing for us they're going to do hearing tests they're doing all kinds of great and then uh just kind of a recap our coba cases are at a very manageable level right now that's fantastic but we're keeping up on the uh the

kova testing and surveillance testing just to keep the make sure that we're we're in acceptable ranges mike do you know what the number of special ed students is that we have just off the top of your head we're we're a little over 19 so we're pushing towards one out of five of our students as an iep wow are you fully staffed in your department we're getting there we have two openings oh that's not bad yeah we're getting there um that's a lot for the for the sports physicals how easy would it be to get one from the doctor it should be very easy they're going to be located up here in the annex which right behind me up in the very front of the parking lot they're going to have their own clinic building there

they'll have certain nights you can't just walk in they'll have certain nights where we we have it scheduled okay thank you your brother makes a mean high pledge sign to get loaded i make it better oh you're working there all right i'll come visit you and who's doing the medical it's it's called covid clinic they're a national program you'll hear their commercials with mario lopez they're fantastic it's no cost to the district no cost to the the families uh they're also called the clint eric campus campus clinic is what that's called kobe clinic is another part of that which is their coveted testing right so sports physicals is a big one we were on but also immunization at certain grade levels immunization is required and we do have students that we have to exclude as

a result of not having those and kindergarten is a big one seventh grade's another big one and so we think this will really help when a family doesn't have to drive wherever if they could walk on over or get it and it they will rotate i believe that they'll be at each school site a certain time so a family could easily get access get the immunizations needed to get their child i have to ask this question are we going to end up with problems with teenagers being treated or seeking some sort of medical information or treatment without parents they are not covered they're not doing those types of things right now it's very scripted and controlled what we're doing but that that could be a possibility down the road but it would come back to

us with any sort of contract and they'll make referrals for things like dental mental health services but it's not like they're going to have x-rays and they're not doing that there's no procedures or anything it's all like there's mental health counseling they refer you to there's there's a bunch of different things that could be and they know what they're allowed and not allowed to do good parental yeah so i would it's not like an urgent clinic or whatever those things i would hope that the the clinic knows what they're allowed and not allowed to do yeah so it's very diff it's very defined yeah there's a whole lot of things out there that happen that you know could blow up in our faces if we don't know ahead of time they're going to happen the

the main thing we're excited about as mr life is that the immunizations free immunizations for our families and be able to come here and do it oh sure absolutely absolutely our health techs are working tirelessly to get resources for families but you know it's a limitation when you know you have to try to catch a bus or something like that it makes it or you're working and if you don't work you don't get paid so it's it's really hard for some folks so this way we're really excited about that and then the other one is the sports physicals which is hard this will hopefully have or allow more students to participate in in athletics so kudos didn't they just didn't a bill just spell that was allowing teenagers to get immunizations without back on topic

it is the other the other piece too is the idea that they would be able to refer out for things and i think the other piece is mental health counseling we have a lot of resources within the district but they will have connections we also have care solace which they can refer through which it's really a positive positive thing for uh our things it just brings it more local so you can have the direct access and get in there and just to clarify we say immunizations we mean the ones that are required for schools yeah so kudos to whoever coordinated this with mario i i would like to send mario and that and our team there's my thanks because great this is a great thing to add more services mario yet was it was it

ryan just tell me it was ryan it was michael jordan who coordinated it very good nice so got lucky mr gave me i just want to say a lot of people might look at a lot of this stuff and say that's not education related but it is being able to have students participate in uh sports or you know it's hard for a student to focus in class if they're dealing with mental health issues or you know dental referrals vision referrals all of this stuff it's not directly education related but this helps keep the students in the classroom absolutely keep them learning and i think it's wonderful that we're able to provide these services so thank you so much for all the work that has gone into this that's great hey thank you to kobe clinic

campus clinic campus we didn't listen to any of the rest of your presentation we all know it's focused on the clinic but thank you for the rest of that as well there was a lot of good stuff crammed into that presentation so all right thank you very much run mike run okay do we have any comments from the audience regarding items not on the agenda no okay moving along um do i have a motion regarding the consent agenda with items 2 24 25 and 26 removed move to approve okay and do i have a second i'll second okay uh advisory vote mr mason aye trustee pope aye trustee anderson aye trustee kelly aye and chair votes i fast okay um item number two from the consent agenda approved resolution number five 222 2022-23 resolution on

board compensation for missed meeting when board members are sick we still compensate them for this do i have a motion on this item emotion okay move to approve one second i'm sorry okay second so uh advisory vote hi hi i abstain okay aye and chair votes i approved and just to clarify um the reason that i had pulled that was to give trustee anderson the opportunity to abstain since it relates to her it would be improper for her to have voted to approve it i had covered last meeting so i didn't attend if you're sick you still get approval and thank you for not attending we get sick leave because that helps reduce the spread yes we appreciate that we should pay your doubt you took care of yourself and i'm glad you're doing better

okay moving along items 24 25 and 26 and if there's no objections i'll just lump these all together um do do i have a motion on this item move to approve okay and a second second okay um i would like to just have a little brief discussion on this before we take the vote uh superintendent larry would you like to give us an overview on what this is sure uh yeah thank you trustee bruno so these are three um lists of books that we're asking the board to place up for surplus or discard two of them items 24 and 25 are both from libraries um and i'll get to that in a second the third item is actually outdated textbooks i believe center high school had some books that have been replaced with uh newer

versions so we're to properly dispose of anything that's bought with state money we have to go through a process we can't just throw them in the garbage can so what we do with example with the textbooks we try to have we have to post them for 60 days that we'll be disposed we'll be surplusing them at that point we actually try to sell them there are some companies that will come in and actually try to buy them from you and take them to different places or church things different things like that if that doesn't work we try to give them to people if they would want them if that doesn't work then we do end up recycling on the textbook side on the the library side you'll see two of them here and actually trustee

pope and i had the luxury of being in the riles library the other day and looking at it and she brought this up so i'm a little more well informed one of the things we have two new library technicians and mr jordan had been meeting with them about looking at their libraries and starting to cull through some of the books a lot of our libraries have older books uh the joke mr jordan pointed out today was we had a book in there that referenced one day will land on the moon um and so what what they do is they go through certain criteria that they agreed to they will out out if things are outdated if things are uh overly used they just can't repair them anymore they would put on this list additionally if

books they had some books and i think ms perrault told us from like 1991 they were in the the circulation that had never been checked out and so to make room for more popular titles so the process that they went through here was to cull the books which there's different types you can do it you know at a standing every five years but a lot of our circulation was old so they're trying to get it get more things that are more relevant up to date for students and then if if information was inaccurate that would also then be updated and and allow for more space because the libraries are full uh of books our libraries are great resources our staff has done a really nice job of keeping up but it it's time to go

through them and and update them so that is what this process uh is these books would then be put on this 60-day list on our website and then a lot of them i think in elementary and ms peralta even mentioned was they would then be offered up to teachers to have classroom libraries in their in their own classroom if they wanted them um and then again then we go through a process where we allow people to take them once they're surplus and then ultimately we would recycle them um at that point hopefully we won't have too many but some of it if it's just so outdated and accurate you know the the moonwalk or you know pluto's a planet or whatever it may be um it's just time to to get through that okay thank

you i just wanted to make sure that that was transparent to the public so that there was no perception that we were censoring certain titles or anything like that and just explain i wanted to get out there to the public how we came up with the list and what will be done with the books so thank you very much okay any further discussion okay advisory phone mr mason aye trustee pope aye trustee anderson aye trustee kelly aye and chair votes i okay informational items california dashboard local indicators and this is just an item we have to have publicly shared it's just information there's no vote needed but what it is and mr jordan you can jump in if i don't give this justice but we have to update the local indicators for the california dashboard

it's they measure multiple things participation in s back and things so this is just our public airing of what we've put we'll be putting towards our dashboard [Music] sorry um so do we have i'm sorry do we have something to present no there's there's no this just it's just publicly posted there's nothing there it's just information it's a weird criteria where it's just information that would be out to the public okay i just want to show you guys why president bruno is struggling is it's the biggest binder we've ever seen in our lives so yeah and i'm currently flipping this many pages at a time we've made it through so far in this meeting and just so everyone's aware um the agenda is always posted online you can review it um you can review past

agendas you can review the agenda prior to any meeting um and all the backup stuff to go yes all the the details and stuff it's all publicly available with the exception of things that are in closed session because they're confidential okay moving on we have a public hearing so the governing board of center joint unified school district in order to comply with the requirements of education code section 60119 will hold a public hearing on september 21st 2022 at six o'clock actually 6 43. the purpose of the public hearing is to comply with the education code section 60119 which requires school districts to certify that the district has provided each people with sufficient textbooks and instructional materials consistent with the cycles and content of the curriculum frameworks okay perfect so at this time i am recessing

the board meeting and uh at 6 44 p.m and calling the public hearing to order and so trustee bruno this time we would entertain any questions related to that item but just as background one of the the things is we have to certify that we have enough instructional materials for all of our our students and as mr jordan brought up minigo williams the williams lawsuit that came three years back actually addresses this and so when mr jordan gave that brief note saying we passed oliver williams it actually is in an additional outside agency they literally go into the classroom take the roster of students that are enrolled in that class and count the books to ensure so i i would not anticipate seeing any comments on this because we just had went through an audit

that was pretty clean so congratulations mr jordan again okay but don't the students take books home with them they would have those as well yes but the law requires that they have access to a instructional material in the class as well as one to go home correct and a lot of ours are digital now so they would have access and if they don't is that true [Music] okay so are there any public comments on this topic okay um so we go ahead and close the public hearing and then move on to business item a i will close the public hearing at 6 45 pm and resume the board meeting okay so business item a certification of provision of standards align instructional materials um and do i have a motion move to approve okay and do

i have a second oh second okay um are we gonna have any discussion on this or no straight to the vote okay hi trustee pope aye trustee anderson aye trustee kelly aye and chair votes eye okay you know what i'm sorry i'm right-handed okay okay business item b resolution number three 22 20 22 23 statement of assurances instructional materials fund do i have a motion on this item a motion [Laughter] trustee pope motion trustee anderson seconded and chelsea kelly was just no no i'll fight your board okay um you know what i apologize i didn't ask for public comments on the last item but that's okay we forgive you um so do we have an introduction to this or this this is actually the follow-up to the public hearing we just held so public did

have an opportunity to come both of these resolution and that certify that not now the board is heard publicly and now this is certifying in a resolution that we have it and then we would share that with the state or any auditor okay so advisory vote mr mason aye trustee pope aye trustee anderson aye trustee kelly aye and share votes i okay business item c 2021 22 unaudited actuals report do i have a motion to bring this to the floor move in a second i'll second okay miss coronado [Laughter] did mr brassie steal the thing so you're not so wonderful after all do we have security here to make sure this is not bad security all right i'm here to present the unaudited actuals for 2021-22 and what they reflect are all the financial activity

the revenue and the expenditures for the prior fiscal year running from july 1st 2021 through june 30th 2022 and always looking at the budget cycle everybody's already worried about this year i know the principals are waiting for their funds for this year but i need to close out the books for last year i'm still working on that um so we are united actuals and then next comes the first interim financial report in december where we will look at the budget i want to take a moment to say that in this unaudited actuals report it shows you the adopted budget that we adopted last june it does not reflect the 45-day update to the budget so you won't see that 45-day update reflected until first interim in december and looking at the under actuals on the

unrestricted side we had 48.3 million dollars in revenue and expended 37.4 million dollars of unrestricted funds the beginning fund balance was 11.9 million dollars there was a increase in our ending fund balance of 2.8 million dollars it looks like there would be an increase of about 11 million dollars because we had 11 million dollars more of revenue over expenditures but we we contributed to our special education fund on the restricted side so that brings our indian fund balance down why are those numbers different than what's on here on the page it says city joint unified school district 212 and not interventionals it gives the numbers as um unrestricted 46 million 618 000. so you might be looking at the compared to the 20 i'm at this are you looking at the slides the way the

slides no she's looking at pages she's looking at the narrative yeah okay so i'll have to look at that later then after i go through this it's the total at the bottom it's the total it's general purpose revenue federal revenue i see it okay there we go i got it okay so we had an increase of 2.8 million dollars on the unrestricted side which is what we primarily look at of that non-spendable was 44 000 and so that includes our revolving account of 10 000 in what's in the warehouse the committed amount was 7.2 million dollars and you committed that through resolution to maintenance supplemental concentration funds site carryover and then for economic uncertainties that's our three percent reserve 1.9 million dollars so our unassigned balance is 5.4 million dollars that's one-time funds that are

available for other uses i want to mention that we are looking at the one-time funds and how to spend them and i know we're going to purchase three buses we talked about it cabinet that we need for field trips because our current buses don't have ac and so when it's hot our poor bus drivers and and people riding the bus suffer so that will be about seven hundred thousand dollars there this we will be or we offered a compensation package to our employees and so that off salary schedule will eat up some of that one-time money as well and then finally we did not have enough coven money to finish out the three-year commitment we made to the employees who are holding those positions related to the pandemic and learning loss and so we'll use

the one time money to finish out their um their agreement when we look at the past in 1920 we had a increase of 230 000 just looking at the trends 2021 an increase of about five million dollars and then last year our revenue over expenditures on the unrestricted side was 2.7 million dollars again i mentioned that we had excess revenue over expenditures and that was used for a special ed contributions we also required by law to contribute three percent of our total expenditures to the maintenance account and so last year that totaled 1.875 million dollars it is higher than the previous year because we took in covid funds and so we spent more there that means we have to contribute more next year it'll probably go down so the unrestricted indian fund balance again this

is just another graph to look at it and 21 22 that there's the 5.4 million dollars so we had a a huge ending fund balance in 2021 because we received all of the pandemic related funds and now we're spending them down [Music] this is a happy slide because our enrollment is ticking up for the first time in a long time going back to 13 14. so this shows 4 235 students it has come down since i took this measure on august 30th i checked as of september 20th it's 4213 students so it has come down 22 however it still increased 111 students from 2021 census day so that's fantastic didn't we hit 5 000 at one point before my time maybe 6 300 was our our peak back 2000. can we throw a little perspective

in what that 111 students means for everybody so it's about 10 000 per student do you mean financially yep okay about 10 000 per student so a lot of money per i shouldn't say per student per ada so they actually have to attend school too our funded average daily attendance i just included what it was in 2122 we know that that will be much higher this it should be higher this upcoming year because of the adjustments that the state made allowing us to grab more attendance and then our other funds we still have fund 17 our special reserve with 2.46 million dollars 2 million of that is committed to maintenance projects we have fund 20 our other post-employment benefits fund with that should be a coma 450 thousand dollars and in the trust right now

we have 1.4 million dollars some of the one-time money will also go into the trust but the stock market's kind of wonky and so i'm waiting trying to time it just perfectly for us and then fund 25 is our developer fee funds and we have 5.6 million dollars in there as of june 30th i was curious to know how developer fees are coming in because of the economy and housing slowing down and so i was a little bit concerned but then felt better in may we took in nine hundred thousand a little over nine hundred thousand in june about nine hundred fifty thousand july six hundred thousand august three hundred thousand in september so far two hundred thousand so that was really declining and was concerning but then i looked at last year in july

also we took in six hundred thousand in august we also took in three hundred thousand so perhaps it's just this time of year where they don't pull permits however they're they do that their developments in september did that increase due to our our um increase of our developer fees has that come into effect yet the board of the board approved that last month i think it takes 60 days that's right yeah it could be i think the explanation is what you just said is probably the pulling permits supposedly after the wet season and then they're pulling more and then work on those throughout the summer i mean that is something that we'll be watching closely this this shows what was in the unrestricted side of the budget but that went unspent people like to call

it what fell out of the budget and so that is a common question so i thought i would include that this year department budgets so these are um personnel budgets business maintenance that aren't carried over 285 000 was not spent out of their budgets we did not buy the electric buses uh that's a different story 823 000 was in the budget and we're going to try to go with a different company and buy them this year i thought we had a grant for those we do have a grant for those but this is just showing the unspent side so we'll get the money back eventually but i do have to apply for those etc so we we front it and then we get reimbursed on the back end yeah and it's seven seven buses remaining

correct well we received one but i think we're sending it back so yeah at some point it's a different question about bringing that three percent savings back that we had always done to save us in case of a issue or a reserve site carryover 550 i mean 543 000 and the sites do get that money it's rolled over and they can accumulate it for big projects on their sites special education what fell out was 1.23 million dollars so what we need to do is look at open pos that aren't expended more closely at the end of the year and then um unencumber some of the funds that aren't needed from those open pos because when they closed at the end of the year all of the open pos weren't used and that's what it totaled

so that was a big bomb or spend it well yes if we need to we spend enough in special ed that's for sure and then staffing we budget for employees when they are posted um but then they aren't filled and so the money's set aside for them but when we don't hire them then that money falls out and then just other miscellaneous uh funds were 276 thousand dollars and then there are two corrections i want to comment on so that it's official um on the last page of the narrative under fund summaries it shows that the net activity was under what page before you move on lisa that's an awful big number for special education why has that not been used to some extent again i have to work with the special ed department to

see why they're opening pos and then they're not being used so we we open pos and say for x amount of dollars and if it doesn't cost that much then this would fall out so it's not that it's not spent or wouldn't be spent but let's say it costs uh three million dollars we think to put kids in uh like a non-public school or a service and it ends up only costing us 1.8 million 1.2 falls out doesn't mean we aren't spending it on the students it just means so what what miss coronado is working with mr jordan on is how do we keep it more specific back in the day well back in the day we used to be like hey is coronado can you add 50 more thousand and so we tried to

go the other way to say here it is so we don't keep asking and then we don't spend it but it just gotcha thank you so on the last page of the narrative it says the net activity for the bond interest and redemption fund is seven hundred sixty one thousand five hundred forty five dollars and it should be six hundred forty five dollars and on the second page of the the fund one sex forms of the whole packet the second page i should have included the adopted budget amount for the revolving fund which was ten thousand dollars and the stores which was thirty two thousand eight hundred thirteen dollars and ninety five cents those were left blank wow you made mistakes i know i just can't believe that i found them but just after the

packet was turned in are we ready for questions so i'm ready for question okay so actually are there any public comments on this topic okay moving on sorry actually my first question is not for you um my first question is regarding the money that was not spent on hvac and i'm just um trying to make it part of public knowledge as to why that wasn't spent on hvac is he's not here today but as we stated in the past the the hvac units were actually delayed so we've not received them so we can't spend it until we can get them right so that's exactly why that number is different yep and i knew that i just wanted to make sure that was mentioned why we didn't spend it okay then we have oh wait a

minute let me go back i think i had another question on that page nope okay on page one of the unrestricted uh expense uh something object by object [Music] in the first section a other state revenues i noticed that it dropped significantly for the restricted so 6.9 million last year was what we actually used well an audited and 3.1 is what we budgeted is that because we're no longer getting new unrestricted funds for covid or correct yes okay that's correct and then on books and supplies unrestricted last year we spent 2.4 million and we've budgeted 1.1 million for this year so significantly less is that because we've replaced so many of our um books or so when the the pandemic related funds come out of the budget then the what we spent um with that

comes out of the budget as well and so generally it comes out of the books and supplies budget okay so for instance the every department uh and school site received a lot fifty thousand dollars each seventy five thousand dollars for their needs and in the supply put it in the supply budget and that will come out okay and then also title one we have carryover and i just automatically put all the carryover in the supply budget and then what that is taken out when they spend it or they move it somewhere else okay um and then on capital outlay um it went from for restricted it went from 000 in expenditures and we're budgeting 2.0 is that construction that no no that's your 2 million dollars that you committed as a board to maintenance projects

to maintenance projects okay great thank you sorry capital outlay is me i need that okay all right um on page five of the same document unrestricted expenses by object under lcff sources the second item educational protection account state aid current year so last year unrestricted we spent 13 million 13.6 million and this year we're budgeting 8.1 million so i'm just curious where what what the logic on that was i don't know so yeah that's fine so first of all it will be higher because this was the adopted budget not the 45 day update that's part of it but in the position control system the teachers are assigned a budget code for their salaries and for because the education protection account can only be spent on certificated salaries teacher salaries not even an admin and so

it's pulling from the position control screen and that's how much is being assigned for their salaries but the end of the and it adjusts throughout the year and so rather than me changing a teacher's budget code and then having to notify hr notify payroll and do all the paperwork of that at the end of the year i can just take if there's five million left i can just uh transfer it to certificate salaries at the end of the year that makes sense so it's pulling it from based on probably not fully staffed right and so once we're fully fully staffed then those numbers are going to adjust and also probably less because we've had some retirements which are a little bit higher cost and things like that okay great um same page several items down

to the educational revenue augmentation fund e-r-a-f um and i honestly don't know what that is and it went from 2.4 million down to 367 thousand so that's a pretty significant and i have to be honest too these are just taxes that come from the county and i just put in the numbers that they told me but not going to tax us as much this year nice okay then the very next item community redevelopment funds uh last year we didn't spend any and this year we're budgeting 2.5 million same thing that scoe provides the budgeted numbers and i just input those i have one more page two more questions sorry um on page one of the unrestricted expenses by function oh it's the same thing so it's just by function instead of by object so we

can skip the last two questions thank you okay and as usual johnny on the spot with all the answers thank you so much sure any other questions i think she's got them all for us thank you thanks for looking at it so closely somebody reads it we read it well and i do think we need to give miss uh coronado kudos for this i mean she boiled it down 100 and something page document to 10 slides so i think we need to thank her that she makes it look easy so thank you lisa for making it lazy it is not easy thank you for not letting us look at a hundred slides yeah i appreciate that i i i appreciate how simplified this view is yeah thanks i try i know i don't want to

bore everybody with this even though i find it interesting oh i did have one more question i'm sorry regarding the buses and the reason we haven't gotten the buses is that because there's a backlog a supply chain issue there's there's a couple reasons there's a i don't have a supply chain but we the company we went with is not producing them and then just real quickly the one we did get from that same company there's issues when the temperature outside gets a certain degrees the bus automatically goes 15 miles an hour so that that one might be going back because that would be that might cause a problem so yeah so when it's 100 degrees outside your football game about the third quarter well when's that ever gonna happen and the buses that she's referring

to are for longer trips because we knew we wouldn't run electric buses to colfax or whatever so we need longer buses anyway or longer running buses than what what the electric would have i'm glad i asked thank you wow okay so these will be audited and then the auditors will give an opinion on them all right any further discussion on this issue okay motion to accept it i will talk to accept it sorry okay second okay hi okay trusty poe aye trustee anderson aye trustee kelly aye and chair votes eye thank you very much oh you got another one here yeah i turned to him and he yeah he uh he's very efficient okay so uh business item d resolution number four 20 22 23 gan limit resolution do i have a motion to bring

this to the floor so moved move to a proof okay and do i have a second i'll second okay this is a formality the gan was passed in 1979 and its intention was to constrain government spending and school districts are considered governments and wanted to constrain our spending and so they have to do a calculation there's been adjustments to it and different bills passed and so our revenue that we get is pretty much exactly our limit and so it all works out and then if we go over our limit then we just take from the state's limit and that's just an automatic thing that happens so we would never as a district go over the limit so we but we still have to do this as a formality okay so if you could just vote

on it that'd be great so what you're saying is it's time to revoke the gan limit okay do i have any comments from the public on this item okay any further discussion all right so let's since there was a motion to approve this time instead of just bringing to the floor uh mr mason aye ms pope trustee trustee kelly aye and cher bosai thank you very much we appreciate it okay now we have a student board representative report mr mason um i'd also like to be joined by our special guest he'll be coming right now special okay do we have a special guest in the audience to join mr mason thank you please experiencing technical oh my gosh this is exciting [Applause] so joe cougar is a gift from the class of um with their

extras funds that they hear uh it's a gift from the class of 2022 that they had uh with their extra funds after the end of last year um he's made appearances on almost every single event he doesn't do rain though so woohoo [Laughter] in other news uh area decorations um for homecoming all classes have begun um either last week or this week and then for homecoming tickets went on sale this week 10 with asb 12 without an asb sticker guest passes are only for juniors and seniors and are due october 13th um sophomores went on a sac state ropes course field trip this past last week and then fbla went on two field trips one last week won this week volleyball played bear river on the 19th girls golf yesterday yesterday had a wood creek

tournament i don't know the outcome of that i should we had freshman's adopt freshman adoptions last week and that was a very very popular event i don't think many freshmen that didn't want to get adopted didn't get adopted football plays wheatland at home this friday and link crew is hosting a freshman tailgate as a way to connect the seniors and upperclassmen to the freshmen um we are having a financial aid night october we're having two actually october 18th and the 20th and then homecoming week is coming up after our october break so we'll have homecoming week with all the spirit days the game and the dance obviously uh the game being the friday and the dance being that saturday um and then during the game we will have um well in between games we'll have

class skits in between jv and varsity and then half time at the varsity game we will have senior royal court for homecoming our theme was movie genres the freshmen chose comedy sophomore chose romance junior's sci-fi and seniors did horror and then the dance starts at seven and gates close at eight and then the dance ends at 10 and over october break do we call it october break the week-long break we have coming up in two weeks no class will be doing anything on campus we'll all be taking a break enjoying the break that's it any questions oh great report when is homecoming week again uh the week after uh the break okay okay thank you very much very nice okay board and superintendent reports uh um [Music] yes come on oh okay getting back to

the board reports that's a good picture especially view so uh trustee pope board report yes um so first of all i was not here last month so i apologize but i'd love to see the seniors here and make it a full house that just bringing back to normal is really nice also looking in the audience i see some faces that are not new to the district but that are new to the boardroom miss parveen i i see you from oakhill mrs kent i see you from riles miss olmstead i see you from spinelli miss oliver i see you from oak hill and then mr holmsley i see you from dudley so welcome i know you're not new to the district but you are new to this room um so congratulations and welcome everybody um mr

lair and i had the privilege of touring ryle's middle school with mrs kent um along with visiting classrooms we did stop in the media community communication studio and the first thing i noticed when i walked in is this big green wall and of course it's a green screen and then she's explaining well if you look in the camera you'll see what the actual i'm going to call it a stage or the setup was and it was really kind of cool how they how they incorporated that um and i asked you miss kent and i don't remember the answer was this something mr bishop created i know it was yeah is that right mr brassie yeah it it was a very cool setup and i hadn't seen it before so if you have a chance to

walk it through riles i would highly recommend looking at the studio we also stopped in miss perrault's um library she's the new librarian this year at riles and also if you have a chance to stop in at the library she's made a few changes and it's just amazing what a few changes can do to a room she now has a quiet area for staff and students she's rearranged the i don't know rearrange the books but relabeled the books for sure so it's easier to access um based on the genre you want to read she's got new chairs it's really comfortable and it's highly recommended by the students so that's one thing if you have a chance to go to the library i would definitely do that we had a chance to stop at dudley elementary

as well and we visited with mr holmsley miss mason and mrs warner mr holmsley was so gracious to tour the campus with us and we stopped in several classrooms and we also stopped in amy lamont limoges is that how you pronounce her limoge she is the intervention teacher and she showed us this interesting spreadsheet she created for the students based on their assessment scores and it's color coded based on the multi-tier systems of support which i don't know if the students know what that is so i'm not going to explain it but mr lair maybe you want to after i'm done um so anyway she so what this spreadsheet does as i spoke to the specialists are the instructional specialists is that they can she said they said it was a great tool because they

can pinpoint the needs of the students based on the spreadsheet and so they can capture per tier so that was a great tool and i thought i found that very fascinating so thank you mr homsley for taking us into the classroom it was a great trip um other than that uh let's see oh i was not here at the board meeting um as i said but i do want to thank mr chris barassi for his information last month on the district safety plan um it's intense they put a lot of time in and planning into it and as mr ballard mr howard ballard brought up um he's a community member within antelope he came up to the podium a few times and talking about safety and as i was pondering on his comments i'm wondering

if it's time that the district gets a second safety officer maybe one split their time between mcclellan high school and center high school and then the other between riles and the four elementary soon to be five that was a thought i had it's better be proactive and safety so i don't know mr lehrer maybe if you could have a conversation with the administrators to see if that's something that they think would be necessary maybe come back to the board next month maybe not identi agendize it but bring it up in your board report maybe next month or the month after whenever you have time um but mr ballard ballad did i say your name ballad um thank you um and i thought that was something that we could probably have a communication on other than

that um oh one other thing mr barassi did share with the board and i think it was district-wide is something oakhill elementary did in regards to their safety plan and i want to congratulate parveen and melissa in regards to collecting the data and how they they presented it and they sent it to mr barassi and i thank mr barassi for sharing that with the board because i found that very interesting congratulations on your grows and glows is glows and grows so very nice other than that have a great october break i actually spent an evening over at oak hill for their harvest festival and it was wonderful they did a great job and the kids had a wonderful time um very well run i can't say enough good things about it was that a pta

sponsored event they did fantastic they always do yes they do and i guess they're having trunk or treat coming up here pretty quickly what day is that they want you to talk in the mic oh trunker treated oak hill what day [Laughter] i don't know if you heard me or not i said that they did a wonderful job at oak hill for the harvest festival it was beautiful it was a beautiful evening the kids had a wonderful time the kids running it did a great job it was just an all out great family event so thank you for that and superintendent learn i had just spoke not too long ago about the school safety officer and talked about what the functions were and stuff so that's good timing that you bring that up i personally

like the idea of the school safety officer i like somebody who can get in there and talk to the kids and know them personally and what's going on in the community i think it builds a relationship with them that we normally don't have that that would be something i'd be very much interested in checking into oh we do have one but i was not like what we had before when nate was here or the one before him who actually was out there walking amongst the kids and talking to him and working through the system at the high school that's what i think makes a difference and other than that we have the elections that are coming up and i don't know if um vanessa are you guys going to endorse candidates this year should we

be writing letters no right okay thank you and other than that i don't have anything else i'll pass it on you know i don't really have a whole lot to say i think i spoke a lot with the equity thing looking forward to the next meeting on october 12th and uh hope you all enjoy your october break and that's it okay um first of all i wanna good luck to the to the candidates sorry good luck to the candidates who will be running in november so i want to second what trustee pope was saying i i'm loving seeing this room packed like this this is great um so thank you all for showing up and as i said uh last month the fact that you guys are taking you know are attending this early when

my kids were doing this it was the tail end of oh we need to go to this board meeting because it's the last one i can attend before it's due so it's uh it's great to see you guys on top of things and i really am enjoying this political hours if any of you need political hours we'll put you to work i also um i was able to attend a a dinner honoring teachers of the year throughout sacramento county with trustee anderson and superintendent lair and a few others congratulations to katie edwards our teacher of the year and it was a very inspiring event um hearing all these teachers speaking and their passion for what they do and one thing that i noticed was almost all of them mentioned teachers that had made an impact

on their lives also and it really kind of drives home how much of an impact teachers can have on students i i can think of several teachers that i had that made a significant impact on my life and i think most of us feel the same way so i just want to take a moment to acknowledge the impact that teachers and other staff members are having on students lives and you know i really appreciate all the work you guys are putting in along those same lines i saw in the consent agenda that we have a teacher leaving the district jennifer law who teaches at uh riles um and she is an example of a teacher that had a substantial impact on multiple kids mind and i'm sad that we're losing her but i'm hopeful this

this is a good opportunity for her so i want to put that out there other than that not a whole lot you know in my day job i work for another school district and we're still very much ramping up the start of the school year so this is a really busy time of year for me but um you know really helps me appreciate all this stuff that everyone's doing behind the scenes so thank you everybody could i make another comment please uh mrs kent if you did not see there is a lot of shock faces one more one more quick question uh will we be running the uh snack bar at homecoming this year i haven't heard yet well i'm volunteering love to sell them m ms and gatorades at home i think if any

of you guys wanted any night you guys can come out and run it yeah he's saying we'd be welcome any night we want to work so i think maybe i'm gonna start okay so uh superintendent yes uh just wanted to acknowledge and uh reiterate how excited we are about the equity equity work um and then also just to thank mr uh barassi for his work uh with our pbis you one of the torches that he was passed from mr jackson was being more unified within the district with this so we've added all schools on that see that fold into our mtss blueprint uh is is remarkable and then also you'll be seeing he's also working on some attendance engagement piece that also falls into our tiered system which will be coming which will also help

our students be incentivized to be at school during that time which is which is great because we know the more students are in school the more they actually learn sometimes we get painted with the brush in school that we only want you there because we want the money but no we actually want you there because we want you to learn the other thing is just a a compliment or an acknowledgement to our the partnerships and relationships with our associations salary benefits times like that sometimes can be very difficult and i appreciate the work that we all have together in this district it's a very give and take i don't think anyone gets anything or gives anything it's kind of a nice compromise so both teams meeting with naisha who i knew uh could not be

here tonight for csa it's the same reciprocal relationship and we work hard at it so i appreciate that uh also as ms pope pointed out i had the opportunity to tour many sites this time since last meeting it's great to see the work that everyone is doing seeing students learn and the happy faces on each of them two more things one is uh this week participated in a school climate workshop that was also happened to be put on by west ed that ryan miranda put on out of our our family resource center formerly known as friendly resource center i won't try to say the name again because i always butcher it but but anyway great work where we looked at surveys had parents and students present and each of the schools were able to construct

in that goals related to their sipsas which then will tie into our lcap so seeing all this come together is is remarkable and then the last one just is the expanded learning opportunity plans uh met with another group today uh the board hopefully we'll have two contracts coming forward that will allow us to offer that nine hours of uh programming and not in addition but added on after their school day so before school and after school programming for our families we're going to start small but we're gonna work so i think mr barassi for for leading that charge as well um so we're looking at programs uh and we're actually meeting one more group uh i think next week or tomorrow but coming up soon so anyway with that it's looking forward to october break

as well i think some of the students are too so anyway that's it thank you all right thank you very much moving on to advanced planning future meeting dates we have another meeting wednesday october 19th at 6 pm here any suggested agenda items yes please i would like to add to the october meeting um the naming of the property rest west of riles to go gould ranch element and gould ranch elementary as an action item okay yay um not for that particular meeting but just mentioning that we should probably schedule a board workshop at some time in the moderately distant future maybe two or three months out for equity to review the equity policy and equity statement right okay so we would i think uh trustee kelly you and i spoke about we'd do it

probably after we finished so it would the soonest it'd be would be november correct yeah okay and we don't have anything to continue in closed session so do i have a motion regarding adjournment move to adjourn and do i have a second second okay i i chair votes eye meeting is adjourned at 7 32 pm not bad you
