I have a number of things to report out uh from the closed session. Under tab one, student discipline, the Board of Education approved the expulsion of students in case numbers 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, and 57 with a recommended disposition. Sasha Lopez as Senior Director, Office of the Superintendent, uh four eyes and three no's. Uh Dr. Rivas, uh Board Member Grego, and Board Member Ortiz Franklin are the no's. Kristen Murphy as Associate Superintendent, Talent, four eyes and three three no's. Uh Board Member Newbill, Dr. Rivas, and Board Member Ortiz Franklin voted no. And then the following positions are for various periods of time, so I'll read them individually. Frances Baez as Chief Academic Officer from July 1 through August 14, 2026, Pia Sadacatmal as Chief Academic Officer starting on August 15th, 2026, Anthony Godoy as Associate Chief Information IT Infrastructure starting on May 22nd, 2026, and Ana Estevez as
005Executive Director Beyond the Bell starting on May 22nd, 2026, the vote was seven eyes. All right. Jason G at G Jason Giannakopoulos as Director of Labor Relations starting on May 22nd, 2026 was five eyes and two no's, Dr. Rivas and Ortiz Franklin. Frank Cerrato as Chief Human Resources Officer starting on May 22nd, 2026, six eyes, one no, Ms. Ortiz Franklin. All right, and I have more to report out. Under tab three, conference with legal counsel, pending litigation, the Board of Education authorized a settlement in the case of Jane Doe CA v. LAUSD at all, the vote was seven eyes.
