001All right, let's go ahead and get started. Um, the meeting is called to order at 5:36 p.m. Roll call. Trusty Ham >> Trusty Co, >> present. >> Trusty Valdez, >> present. Trusty Pickle present and Trustee Jena I am present. Okay. No reportable action was taken in close session. Um if we can go ahead and um stand for the flag salute. Trusty Coleman, would you do the honors? >> Certainly. >> Salute. Pledge. I pledge algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Is there a motion for approval of the agenda? Is there a second? >> Second. >> Call for the vote. >> I'm an I, Miss Robach. >> I'm an I also as well.
002>> I for Coleman. motion. >> Correct. >> There you go. >> Yes, please. I do have >> I'm also >> I don't know if it'll come up. >> Okay. >> It comes up on your computer. >> Okay. >> Can you see? I haven't logged in yet. >> Yes. Um, it's 5. >> Okay. Motion passes unanimously. Thank you. Principal Gossman, please introduce your showcase. >> Good evening, Mr. Mr. Peterson, and Miss Rob, board members, and cabinet members. Thank you for a few minutes for of this meeting for our art department to share um their showcase. I have invited our art band and theater because they all collaborate really well together to um crosscurricular for our students in their art programs. I would like to invite our teachers to come forward at this time to provide a
003brief overview of the theater, music, and art. Thank you for having us. Um, I'm Amber Kirby. This is Michael Vasquez, Gloria Vargas, and Steven Diaz. We have our students, Moises, and Kyla. Um, we're here tonight to go over >> data analysis goals. I'm technically Thank you. >> You're a pro. >> Thank you. Uh so we are doing an arts, media, and entertainment report because we all consider ourselves the arts, media, and entertainment um program here at Golden Valley High School. Um this right here is an excerpt from Hades Town, which I'm going to let Kyla take over. >> Come to the mic. >> The only reason we're able to put on shows as big as Hayden Town and High School Musical is the collaboration of all our arts, media, and entertainment groups. For example, our
004theater teachers, Miss Kirby and Mrs. Cohen, directed the show. They purchased the rights to it, and they put in the grants for our funding. And in addition to that, our theater choir students were the ones who learned every line. They learned every note and every step they should take on stage. They took the responsibility of making sure they know what they're doing. And along with that, the band also learned what we were doing. It's unique to all the past productions that I've seen at the school since becoming a student at GB in that we had a live band and we had our own obstacles to overcome as did every other department in this program. We had to learn how to adapt to actors. We had record the production like you're seeing right now and we
005took recordings of every night and compiled them into one final recording. We also had architecture and workshop students build the set that you see right now, including the very innovative turntable, which the workers in Orpheus are standing on right now. And our art and theater students work together to paint and dress the set to make it look pretty. And we couldn't have the first after school without the support of assets who help with filming, but they also allow after school programs like Journal Club to run. And Hades conveys a very strong message and that's that you shouldn't give up. And we showed that through our own perseverance and our own determination to put on a great show. And this song is true is a really good display of that collaboration. ALWAYS they fix the ones
006who SPEAK THE NO will be heard. the question asked. So I'm asking YOU and you BELIEVE I believe THERE IS A WAY. I BELIEVE IN US TOGETHER. I believe we are stronger than we know. I believe we're stronger than THEY KNOW. I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE. I believe that they are. So I ask you if it's true. That was Kyla on Trumbo. >> Thank you so much, KYLA. >> We seem to have a small issue with our art department's video loading, so I'm just going to go ahead and defer. um to the notes you gave me. Uh this year the art department participated in a many amazing things outside of the school setting, the Dia de los Muertos display at the MAC, the multicultural art center downtown, as well as collaborating with us on the
007industry workshop. It was a CTE workshop where we learned how to make monster masks. We'll talk about that a little bit later. We got certifications from an industry expert al together as the art program. Um some of the other things we worked on was competing in Skills USA for the pen design which they just completed at regionals and they will find out soon if we're going to state for the pin design. And these are some students that have entered into the Southern California Industry College and Trade School tour that we go on together every um spring. We're heading that down there this March on the 10th. Um these are some of the students submissions and they're going to find out in just a week who got accepted through feedback from one of our industry partners,
008Graalis Inc. who creates movie posters um that you would see for example the center poster, the challengers poster, the Nike poster. We got great feedback that just came in for all the students artwork. Now we have here to talk about the highest So, um, one of the biggest things, um, I would like to address is that this production is a Disney and Broadway school of excellence. So, we're one out of 27 schools in the nation who got a grant from Disney to perform this show. That is such a huge honor. Can you believe that in California, we're one out of two schools who got this grant. That is absolutely amazing. And yeah, round of applause to that. Round of applause. And thank you, Miss Kirby, for helping us apply for this grant. The reason we
009received this grant is because all of our previous productions have been studentled, meaning um every single student has an important part in creating these shows. Uh specifically this production, um I'm the student director, so I have to block all the scenes, which basically means create the movement, the positioning for all the characters. Our student choreographer, her name is Analia Servin. She's done an amazing job creating the dances for the big numbers. Um, not only that, but our cast is obviously all students and we've been working so hard to create their lines or remember their lines. Um, remember their songs and then remember all the choreography. When you put them all together, it is such a big challenge and specifically to put all that together in such a small amount of time. Um not only that
010but our booth and art technicians and our set managers um like the like Hades Town um all the students came together from different um parts of arts of the arts media sectors to create a set for Hades Town and in almost the same thing like students with the guide of Mr. TC um muted our set and it is such a beautiful thing to see like students collaborating together having an environment where students are able to talk to each other work together and give them an experience for the real world. Not only that but um we like uh Miss Kirby said we earned the film industry certifications and practical effects from Brian Snipe. Brian Snipe created the outfits for the new Superman movie. Um >> did he work with Marvel for numerous um And that is
011extremely cool to see that we have connections with professionals who can guide our students and that is very good to see. Um this is on my end. So I've competed in regional speech competitions. So this year I competed in our prepared speech competition for Skills USA but I also have a history of competing in speech. Um from freshman to senior year I've competed in academic decathlon. And um two years ago I was part of a team who brought Golden Valley to stay in the in 20 years and that is beautiful to see. Um last year I won first place at the state California academic decathon competition for speech and that is very good to see not just um it's just very beautiful to see students given these opportunities and being challenged with these opportunities um
012>> specifically. >> Yes. and it's musical ticket. So, I was gonna ask >> Thank you. And this is >> um here tonight >> any night. Good for any night. >> Okay, cool. >> Fantastic. >> And then close it. >> Okay. And not only that, but our theater program has built two sets this year. um one specifically for the haunted um escape which is a single story and it is amazed. So it is very cool to see the students like creating such a elaborate set design and specifically for High School Musical we created a set that is twotory. Um Golden Valley specifically has a history of building two story sets if you didn't know that um um High School Clue last year was pretty sure three stories. Um this year it's two stories. So we have
013a we have a history with stories. So yeah, it's very cool to see that the putting all of this together with different sectors of what's in media. >> Thank you mucho. >> Of course, >> I'm gonna just go through a couple things. Uh we were we're being featured by teacher teaching fellows, our assets program, all of this together. Um we just wanted to talk tonight about how much we love assets and that we have really it has really become something that has been important to our program for the students safe space, their nutrition. It becomes their second home. They can get tutoring when they're not on stage. They can go to the game room when they're not on stage. Um, and we're really honored to be featured in the Teaching Fellows magazine for High School
014Musical. Um, a quick note about film. Film has been doing great. We've got the certifications. Um, having another class come on, specialty makeup for stage and screen. Uh, we're hoping to get uh we're in talks with MUD for one unit dual enrollment for that. That's fingers crossed. And our big achievement this year is that Lynn Saul, one of our film students, went to CISA, the California State Summer School for the Arts, and received the Herb Alpert Foundation scholarship, which is a $40,000 scholarship to go to any film school of her choice. She's already been accepted by Woodbury, one of the schools we visit on our tour, and they have given her a $94,000 scholarship to come as a film student there. So, we're really excited for her. She also applied to UCLA, so she's got
015choices. Um, last year we won, we took second in state for digital cinema and no, second for audio radio and third in state for digital cinema. We're competing again at Skills USA this year. Just finished our originals and we're hoping for uh the gold this year. Um, also we gave 25 certifications to students in art, film, theater, and 193 students applied to our tour this year. Uh, we got a boosters. We have parent boosters now for the arts, media, and entertainment. They're hosting a VIP uh room right now for the high school musical tonight, and we're excited to have parents and alumni super involved. Now, um, then I'll go over to Mr. Diaz. Good evening everybody. Uh just a real quick thing uh about the choir here. This is my third week. When I first
016got here, there was about six people in the choir, six students. Um that has now grown to about 30 students and and counting. So it's been a great experience being here, getting to uh work with the students and rebuilding that program. Choir has been kind of um a dying art in the area. Um and so it's great to bring that back. Um I always like to bring uh other professors from different colleges around to get them in front of the students because anytime someone else is in front of them other than myself, it's always a good opportunity for them. Um the program continues to grow and thrive. Uh and aside from that, um our our wonderful accompanist, Mr. Jo, he is I would not be here without his uh help as well. He was a
017huge part of the success. um who's great with the students and he's great with you know just helping out all around with any any musical needs. Um and yeah uh we have grown I know at one point we were the biggest choir in the district and right now we're we're still up there um and we did we had a very successful district choir concert in the fall with Dr. out water and so that was really cool to see down there in the bottom right that's about 70 students from all of our city high schools and we got to perform the song together so um the growth is very consistent and it's on the up and I'd like to thank you all for your support Stephen's doing an awesome job is one of my former students
018that graduated from Ben in 2015 my name is Mike Vosquez I've been the band director here at Ben since 2012 uh the band program is is growing. It's popular. We we just played Sunday for the Merced Historical Society. There's going to be a big article in the Merced Times coming out by Jim Cunningham. Um thank you for all of your support. We have eight uh teaching educational band directors coming out of the program in the last since 2015. Number of industry professionals that are playing music all over the place. The bands performed in the Rose Parade, the Hollywood Christmas Parade of many local events. And if you need anything uh at your events or anything that the band's doing or that you need live music for. We have an awesome jazz ensemble and jazz uh
019combo. Some of our students have performed in the All State Jazz Festivals, the All State Concert Festivals, as well as the Jazz Band of America in Indianapolis. And I've had students attend the Lincoln Center Summer Jazz Academy and open for Winston Marcales this past summer. So, they're doing incredible things. And it's not easy, but it's it is easy working with all stars like this. This is a great group, a cohort of of visual performing arts teachers that almost sort of like a magnet school bringing students in who are really serious about this as a as a career or as a you know, it's something they want to do for the future. So, I want to thank you for all your support and thank Kirby for putting this together. >> Thank you so much. Have a
020wonderful night. >> Thank you. I just want to say good job to all of you. uh Moses, Kyla, uh most of you mentioned a lot of a lot of stuff that you you're involved with. Great job. I do want to point out that I do believe you guys were highlighted to be in uh in Merced state of the school uh I think they did mention your your uh your group here. >> Thank you. >> Yeah, congratulations on all your accomplishments. That's it's incredible. >> Thank you so much. >> Yeah. Stay still there. You're not you're not done yet. My students are rehearsing outside. >> We'll let them go then. >> Okay. >> Thank you. >> Okay. Hold on. I I have to go then. Um, >> you are a magnet school. I get phone calls
021from parents about athletics and transfers and wanting this and that. That happens all the time. Last year I got a phone call about coming here for the arts program and that's the first time in 12 years that's ever happened. So and I was at 80s and it was off the hook. It was not a high school uh musical. It was a community or even like a small off Broadway type production. So just super proud of you guys. Thank you. >> All right. Now you can go. Thank you. >> All right. >> Mrs. What are the dates that this is There's actually a slide on the presentation that has the dates at the end. Oh, was it? Okay. Um I can send those out. Okay. It's this week and next week. >> I think it's on
022Friday, too, right? >> Yes. Yes. >> Yeah. There are um a lot of schools that struggle to have one teacher in each of their programs and we have successfully have two in all of them. So it is really fun. There's always awesome things happening. So I'm going to go through our data analysis goal that goes with our um superintendent goal for this year. And our goal is to have 70% of our EL students grow in one band on the ELPAC this year. Um we started this work in the summer uh by adding um splitting our e sections. We used to have some of our classes comboed. There was one, two together, three, four together. Some of them have all four levels together. And that just doesn't do well for our students. So we split them
023into there's one class of ones, a class of twos, some threes, and a couple combos just to allow for scheduling. Um because when we did it, they'd already been scheduled. So, we were able to split all of our levels. That has helped our students really focus more on their specific level of need um with our ELD teacher. So, that has really helped. Um we've reduced the number of waiverss. So, we had um approximately 30 students that were on waiverss last year um less this year um so that they do work on those skills. A lot of times you put kids on a waiver, they are no longer working on the skills in their EL class. They don't take that test serious when those test comes around. So, we really reduced the number of students that
024we're allowed to be on waiverss and um increase our sections for that. So, hopefully that'll help us. Um last week, our teachers did um some EL shadowing with our instructional coach and Mr. Margosa, our teaching and learning AP. Um they shadowed students for two periods. 11 of them went through and watched how they were speaking and learning in their classes so that um those teachers could come back to their classroom and reflect on what if they were providing opportunities for students to practice those skills in their specific class. So they were watching them for two periods keeping tallies on how many opportunities they had to speak and listen at least academic listening is different. Um so go through that and it was really eye opening for them. they shared this morning at our staff meeting
025and what they learned from it um to help them go back and plan better lessons in their class. And then the last thing we're going to do is our EL students will have chats one-on-one to go over all of the criteria to to grow within their ELP um test and then before they take the exam starting at the end of February um with our instructional coach again, Mr. Mosa. Couple other campus highlights um aspects was brought up with our theater showcase and our art showcase, but it's also something that we've done. We only have one weight room on this campus. So, they purchased some outdoor weight equipment that should be available starting in the next week or so to expand um out towards the football field where they have a large amount of weight equipment
026that'll help us have another place for our students to work out after school. Um High School Musical Tonight is the opening. And then something else that we did, um, we purchased some things through the grant that we have for a community grant with basketballs and our kids have a volleyball net in the in the quad. If you look at it, it's falling apart and it is probably the biggest draw of our campus at lunchtime and break. Kids are out there all day long with the ball with the ball whenever they can. Um, it's falling apart. So, we purchased a new one. We have some basketballs that got purchased out in the back to give them something to do. Uh, they will play out there with volleyballs. because it was really sad to watch them want
027to play without the right equipment. So, we p purchased that. It came in. Um, a couple of our PE teachers are helping runs at lunch. So, check those balls out to help them have something to do. Um, so we were thankful for that highlight that just got started. And then that has the dates on it. So, looks like 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, and um 7th are the dates for the High School Musical. Thank you. Any >> questions? Thank you. All right. Um, next up is the general public comment period. Do we have any speaker cards? Okay, no speaker cards at this time. So, we'll move on to reports. Um, first up is um, Miss Miller, Measure M, Bond Committee annual report. Good evening. >> Good evening. It's been a little while, so please forgive me.
028Um, and just to note here, we are backdating um this measure and report to 2024, I believe. Um, just because it's been a very chaotic year. We've had a lot of projects going on obviously, but um so we're catching up and and providing you with our updates. On November 4th, 20 2008, voters in the Merced Union High School District approved measure N authorizing 149,450,000 and general obligation bonds to support district facility improvements. In accordance with the measure, a citizens bonds oversight committee was established to ensure that all bond expenditures align with what voters approved. All measure and projects continue to be authorized by the MUHSD board of trustees. The committee made up of community volunteers continues to review spending and monitor project progress is held its most recent annual meeting on January 20th, 20ou um
0292026 during which members formally approved the measure M annual report. The committee which first convened on June 30th, 2009 has met quarterly or semianually since its formation. It is responsible for publishing an annual report documenting its findings. The report summarizes all measure M expenditures made through July 1st, 2024 and affirms that finds have been properly used for their intended purposes. Merced Union High School District's most recent projects up to two July 2024 include the Atwater and Merced High School pool projects which have been had barely begun at that time. Another measure and meeting will be held toward the end of the school year to approve the 2025 audit. This should be the final audit of the spawn measure. As far as I am aware, another measure and meeting will be held toward the end of
030the school year to approve the 2025 audit. Okay. Sorry. Um projects funded or partially funded by this bond measure up to 20 June 2024 include the following. district security fence projects at all um school campuses. Aquatics facilities at four campuses, Merced High School being the most recent projects, stadiums at two campuses, campus locations, Golden Valley and Merced High. Keep in mind this just includes up to 2024 at one of Merced High School gymnasiums. And these are just some of the funds spent toward new facilities and security initiatives um for our students. So that is a general synopsis of our board meeting that we held and on the 20th of January 2026. Any questions? Great. That's all I have tonight. >> Thank you. >> All right. Item 11B, fiscal and facility update. Dr. Wymer. So, I'm
031going to just give a couple of quick slide highlights if you have questions on them. Otherwise, they they kind of explain. Uh but it's just a little bit of an overview of where the um country is going, where the economy is going, things that might impact our budget. So you can see that we do have 4.3 uh% growth in quarter 3. So that's a good sign. Um as far as tax receipts and those types of things are going, we do have growth going up and that is reflected in stock market growth as well. And so you do see the wealthy uh in California doing fairly well in the stock market right now, which is very good for tax receipts in the state of California. Just a couple of things, and this is just one of
032those where the facts don't always match the way people feel and so sometimes it takes a while to catch up with the facts on how you feel about things. But if you see the dotted line, wages have actually outpaced inflation uh since 2019. But that's not what people feel. Uh when you see large increases in your food budget and your rent and those types of things, you feel that more than you feel your pay increases. Um and so when you don't see those going back down, you don't have a very good feeling about it. And so you get a queasy feeling about the economy. But wages have actually outpassed inflation over that period of time. So the economy is in a a solid state even if individuals don't necessarily feel that way uh on their
033own case. Um California you can see we've got growth we are cons uh concerned a little bit on the inflation front labor market you do see um the average of a 5.5% unemployment and then housing is going to be relatively flat so you don't see a lot of constru new construction and things going on that's a concern so we do have a little bit more uncertainty in the California economy than we do in the national economy but not an extreme difference they both are doing pretty well to take the aggregate amounts. Um you can see different areas and this is where you see some trends. So part of the issue is you see most of the growth in jobs has been in government, leisure, hospitality, uh uh private education and health services and then you
034see a lot of private businesses have been losing um uh employees over the last year. So professional business services, financial activities, information have all been losing jobs in California. So you you're starting to see a differentiation between the health and uh government industries versus the private sector as far as uh employment is concerned in California. This one is one where you're going to see a large amount of our state feels a little bit queasy in education because they see declining enrollment. But again, you can see the blue are areas that are actually growing and the red are ones that are in decline enrolling. You will see though that the largest parts of California are down at the bottom. So you've got LA, Orange County, Ventura County, Santa CL, those areas there where you're seeing decreasing
035student enrollment. Then you see Sacramento, Placer, Sanwa King County seeing increases. We fall a little bit right there about where Stannis Lassi is uh from Merced County. So we're right in that area, but you do see a lot of the news and a lot of things you hear discussions about coming out of the Oakland and out of the LA areas. And you'll see that down on the bottom where they're losing enrollment. Impacts to the budget that we've seen here recently. Um flat ADA. Uh so we are expecting that to kind of level off here for the next couple of years. We do have the uh 2.41% COLA that came out in the governor's budget. There are two uh data points left before that becomes an official number. So we don't really know it till May,
036but that's pretty close to where it's going to be. Does trigger the 10% reserve cap. So, we do have to make sure when we end the books this year that we don't have more than 10% in our reserves. Uh, one-time funding is included in next year um and will have to be part of the midyear LCAP. So, we have those things that we are getting. Special education funding is actually increasing. So, that is a good thing from the state of California. That has not happened in a large time. Special ed costs are probably going up a little bit more than that. So, we're going to get an increase, but the increase in the cost is probably right about all of the stuff that we're going to get is an increase on that Prop 30 and
03755 extension and the SEIU billionaires wealth tax. You'll probably hear about that from CSBA and others. There are two groups in the state of California right now trying to get ballot measures on the November ballot. Uh, SCIU um is trying to do a billionaire wealth tax. It's a one-time tax. They're focused on healthcare. Um and that's the the their focus for that particular one. Proposition 30 and 55 CTA is leading uh the charge on that particular one. And there are taxes right now that are being paid by the higher earning people in the state of California. And it was used to fund education. And so Proposition 30 was when that was passed. Prop it had an expiration date prop 55 extended that to 2030. So it's going to ex expire in 2030. And if they
038don't get that extended, we will lose the money. Whenever we do the uh Education Protection Act and we show how much money we're putting into classrooms, that's the amount of money we get from those particular taxes. So, if it doesn't change between now and 2030, those taxes would go away, which would be a major hit to the budget. So, CTA is leading the charge to try to get those on the ballot to make it indefinite uh and not have an expiration date. They're battling back and forth because it is never good to have two tax issues on the ballot at one time. So, they're fighting right now over which one gets to go on to the November ballot. And obviously, one has a very big deal to do with us. So, we kind of think
039that way. We should do the Prop 30 and Prop 55. Uh Federal um I typed this last week and I'm spent the next last five days not sure if I was going to be able to say anything tonight, but we do have a budget. So, the federal government has passed their budget. Um, we do have an educational budget that is part of that. Uh, none of the things that we were worried about is in it. All of the funding is the same level as it was previously with maybe even a slight bit of increase in a couple of places. And there were, uh, clauses in there of which he could not do what we were worried about, which would be to just wait till the end, not give it out, and then say, "Sorry, it's
040all gone." Um, there are clauses in there to prevent that from happening. They have to give it out on a certain timeline. And so all the things we were worried about on the federal land pretty much have gone away um as far as that with that particular federal passage. So that was very good news to see. And then this is just a little bit of a school services chart you can see. Um and they're not the same thing. So you do have to be careful. The red line um is actually the increase in enrollment. And then you can see our FTE growth in certificated and classified staff compared to that. And so you see we have been increasing. You did see an increase uh a very large increase on the certificate and then it came
041back and matched where we're at on enrollment. So you can kind of just get a look on how enrollment versus the U FTE staffing is on that particular one. And again, if you have questions on that, you can ask them later today. you can email uh if you look at it again >> uh FTE is a full-time equivalent. So it's what one teacher would be or one classified person would be if they were working full-time. So a lot of our if we have five teachers who teach an extra period we wouldn't have five FTE, we would have six because it's their full-time and then each of those other ones would create wouldn't work full-time. So, it's it's not necessarily the number of staff people you have. Just that was just a couple of things that
042have happened between the last board meeting and this one. Economy is looking pretty decent. Tax receipts are still coming in ahead of expectations in the state of California. Uh things are moving forward in the legislature. They did release the trading bills. There were no surprises from what we came out with last month. Uh looking like we're going to get the solid cola and then sometime funding. Um and things are going to be pretty decent going forward for education. On the facility side, uh Mercur has spent about 15 million or not not spent has $15 million in CTE projects and $10 million in modernization projects filed with the state. So that means we need to have about $12.5 million in matching funds. So we can't use those until we know how that all turns out. So
043those funds are just sitting over here waiting. Um, we don't know until they get back to us. The CTE funds will know which projects move forward in March, but that doesn't mean they're funded. Just means they met the point requirement. We won't know till December. So, we're going to have to at least have money sitting aside to see what happens in December, whether those projects actually get funded or not. Um, we did have back and forth uh about two days worth of fix this, fix this, fix this from the state on our modernization. So, they have that now. All of that paperwork is moving forward. Hopefully, we'll know that before the summer on on whether or not we're going to be funded on the modernization projects and those are matching funds as well. Um, and
044those are to help different uh parts of schools that are 50 years or older. So, we can go in and work on those particular ones and fix them. Uh, we have the Grand Valley pool um and finishing the business park are the only current projects uh in the works right now. Everything else would fall into the process and timelines that we're going to be looking at here below. Uh, but the border is still manually designed. So, we don't even have architectural estimates or whatever forward yet. Um, again, we do know, and I'm going to say it out loud every time. So, nobody is misled by this, when it does finally get approval, it will mean that the pool will most likely shut down for at least a year. And so, that's the timeline it will
045take to do that kind of concrete work and to be able to do those fixes. Um, so they are aware of that and we keep making sure that it'll work. So, as we get to that point, they're ready to plan for that timelines. Uh, we do have um survey ready to go out tomorrow um for voters and so the company will start making calls. They'll use the same very similar script to the one that we used before. So, that will take a week or two for them to be able to go out and do that type of a survey. We should be able to get the survey results back here in March. And so John is advisers who does surveying work for us will come in and present the uh information from that site surviving
046identifying needs and updating our facility master plan in March and April. So we'll be having those conversations. I've said that I thought it was going to be a little bit earlier in the year but March and April is probably the timeline where that's going to happen. Uh we'll be able to review the master plan survey in May and then decision for a November measure if that's what we would like to do based on the projects and needs that are out there. uh will be at the June or August board meeting. So that's all of the stuff that will lead up to that. August 9th is the deadline to put something on to the November ballot. That's like 3 days or I forget what August and Miss Roback doesn't care. Um for our August board meeting,
047we we have a couple of days after our August uh meeting. We don't probably want to be that close to to hitting the timeline in case there's paperwork issues or whatever. So that means June is pretty much what we would be looking at as a time frame for making a decision and looking at the path. All the information that you would want and need will be available in time to be able to do that for June. Uh January 2027 results of the state projects again uh update the facility master plans and results from any uh measures if we go out for one. We'll be then identifying the projects that were listed in the master plan and funding sources because there's not just the bond, there's the East Merrced, there's a variety of other things that
048would be available. Uh, and so by January of 2027, all of that will be in place. We will probably have a two to threeyear plan on what we could be doing over those next two to three years and ready to start moving forward on projects. uh note on one and I know this uh came up at the last meeting and it comes up everywhere. So here's here's the information that we need to know when you think about turf fields. Um the only two turf fields that we currently have in the district are the ones that were shared facilities and so that was Atwater and Jordan Valley. Um they were community stadiums at that particular time and so that was why they had the um uh turf versus the grass. The other four stadiums have grass.
049Infrastructure was installed. So if we just decide in the future to put in turf, a lot of the underground stuff, you know, we want to go tear up our brand new all of their tracks to be able to put infrastructure for that stuff is already doing. Here's where we have to keep everything in mind. If that's a decision that's part of the master plan, if if sites request that, we do have to have a conversation about the fact that turf is not a one-time expense. turf doesn't take a lot of maintenance in a year, but it has a 10-year lifespan. And so at 10 years, you do have to be able to replace it. And that's not a large amount that you want to have just pop up on you. So you would need to
050put money aside every year so that when those did become time to replace them, you actually have the money there. You can't come up with a a 12 to$15 million expense just pop up on you and think you're going to pull that out of the regular budget at that particular time. None of us can look at a crystal ball and see where we're at 10 10 years from now. So, a chair field would would likely exceed about $2 million each. That's roughly about what it would cost to to put those in when they're going in new. Replacement costs. Um fields usually come with an 8-year warranty. Uh need to be replaced within 8 to 10 year time frame. Current cost of 1.2 to 1.5 is cheaper to replace than it is to start new. Um,
051if there were six turf fields, meaning all all of the campuses had one, uh, you would need to replace in 10 years, the district would need to be setting aside about 1.12 about 1,125,000 every year to have the needed money because you're going to assume that there's the inflation cost that's going to go up every single year. So, that number does take that into account. Uh, that it's not going to cost the same this year as it does last year. If you went back 5 to 10 years, it probably would have only cost you 400,000 450,000 to put in. That's not true anymore. So building that in, you would need to be doing about 1.1 million out of the general fund. Maybe you're setting that aside into facilities. So when that 10year mark came and
052they started to fail, you'd be able to have the funding to replace them because having a turf field, it's not like you could just chill it out and have a grass field the next day of that doesn't work. If if you have problems with a turf field, you probably would shut them down. So you do need to be thinking about and do that preemptively. That was the last question last slide. So questions on all of that timeline and information. >> Um thank you for the information on the turf fields. Dr. What about if another option is some sort of I don't know better drainage, better irrigation system, better maintenance of grass fields. I mean maybe is a in between or alternative solution. I'm not sure but flooded fields, potholed field, you know, like that that
053also doesn't work and what's a safety hazard. And and this doesn't necessarily apply to all because we do have one stadium who does not have the French drains that go along with the track and that would be said high because they do not have a track along with their field. Um so for the other ones that's a little bit of different issue because those drainage pieces are built in there. Um it would be a different issue for your set. That would need to be somewhere looking into what options are available for something like that. >> That's definitely an option. But I can guarantee you there at least one if not two uh we'll put it into their requests as part of the master plan. So that is a conversation that will be coming forward. >>
054Good to have you. >> Thank you Dr. Wymer. Uh next up is 11. C local control accountability plan. Mrs. Ballinger and Miss McCaulay. Good evening. As part of the LCAP process, we do give an LCAP um update for you. Um so I'm going to hand it over to Janette, introduce Janette, and I want to say thank you to Janette for all of her hard work on the LCAP and getting it all together for you tonight. Thank you, Mrs. Ballinger. Um, good evening board president and board members. I'm Janette McCall, program administrator with Ed services and let's check the There we go. Since 2023 after COVID, we are required now to do a midterm um report. And here we'll talk kind of quick just expenditure um update our actions and our metrics and then also um
055just where we're moving. And so while I was back there, um, our LCAP currently is 139 pages with the directions included. Um, we have our four main goals and remember the LCAP's a three-year process and then we have the opportunity to update our actions and metrics annually, but the four goals are the main ones. We also have our equity multiplier goals formity, sequoria, and independence. But with our four goals, we have 73 metrics and 44 actions. And so um, tonight is just more of overview of those 139 pages as we move through the school district or school year. Um, now with our superintendent goals and our principal updates throughout this year, we do have a lot of updates that that um does pertain to the LCAP. So, with my grateful Dr. We have the fiscal
056part and so I bring the L cap to you in June and there is that budget that we're supposed to get and that was 44,338,112 and then suddenly the first entrance comes and Dr. Wer presented $2 in December and it increased about $500,000 and so again let me kind of make those updates as we go. um seeing where we go. Um as of date when this was pulled probably last week or two weeks ago um we haven't spent up 24 million about 24.5 million and of course by June we'll have it all expended. So again when I come to you in June I give you a different number than typically we'll see as we move through the year. All right. Again we have our four goals. Um our goal number one is college. That's kind
057of like the nickname. Um but as we went into the year LCAP we really want to make it about the students and data driven and so here we have in students will acquire the skills necessary to develop and pursue postsecondary goals and again we have 17 actions in this school and some will go to the next couple slides where I'll be talking about but kind of summarizing it is where we put our student academic performance where we're looking at that curriculum and we've had that opportunity with our English our math our science and working with our history departments all our core departments as we transition um to new curriculum and making sure that we are standard aligned and actually incorporating into our daily lessons. Um again, the secondary school district and so that college and
058career readiness is a huge component for us and looking at our career technical components and all those pathways that we have and opportunities, our A3 throughg um our dual enrollment industry searchs and our workbased learning. And again, um our AP opportunities all kind of ties in there and we have the opportunity with the LCAP to provide um waiverss to our students for AP testing. And so then we have the opportunity to really look at our data to help drive these dis these decisions. Okay, this is where we added a lot of actions um and metrics to our 23 or 24 23 24 to 7 um LCAP and it's because we had to put the 23 dashboard red indicators or lowest indicators in our 24 to 27 dashboard. forgive me with the numbers. And so every
059month from 2023 that we read or had the lowest indicator, we've got to create an action and have a metric to go with that. And so it's pretty lengthy. Um so again, it's any as a district as a whole, any of the indicators like English, math, college, career, suspensions, and then also every subgroup that the dashboard measures. They're on top every site with every indicator with every subgroup. Um, and so when we went to 2023, we're just like, "Oh my gosh, how are we going to do this?" So now every year in December, Mrs. Ballinger has the principles um present how they're doing over 2023 CAP dashboard in CARES, which mean back at 24 and back at 25, right? And so now they're having this discussion about the data annually. And then Jim, I asked
060again or me that little summary to make sure I could put that into LCAP. And so again, when they threw this 23 um LCAP dashboard, it's kind of like how am I going to follow up? That's actually been very beneficial for our sites to continue continually, excuse me, look at that data as they move forward. Pretty exciting that majority of these dashboard indicators we have improved on. And to give a little background what is doing, I have principal Megan Co here to talk about what they're doing at El Capit. Thank you. No problem. >> Good good evening trustees and cabinet. Miss Robeck. Um bear with me. I'm not feeling super great today. Um it's a blessing of having sick children at home. Um so for math some of the things that we have done um
061is we are working to increase our supports with our paras and our co-teers in our math classes so that our EL students and our special ed students have the opportunity to um be supported as much as possible to help them grow in their um in math. We've also tried really hard to make sure that we um align our math teachers so that they have common collab periods. This year it got a little messy with our scheduling, but we just spoke this morning and we will be working to have all of our math teachers in the department have a common collab next year. Our math teachers, they look at the data, they look at their test scores, they analyze them, and they really break them down and um it's probably because they're math people. Um and
062they do a great job with that and they really want to see our students do better. So they're really um looking at what is going on with their testing um in the class on their um uh benchmarks. And so we're focusing on that so that we can improve that red indicator for the English learners. Um we um we you've heard a lot about this especially from Miss Gossman um principal Gossman earlier about doing ELAC chats and that's something that we've added this year. Last year we did e shadowing with some of our new teachers and they would follow around a student um around campus throughout the day to see what kind of language they were participating in in classes. Were they communicating with peers? Were they participating? And what did that look like across different
063types of subjects? And then also in EL classes and it was really enlightening to a lot of our teachers to see the level of communication that they were having or that they weren't having and when and where and um with whom and so we're working on um improving that also through um continuing our e shadowing. We brought in another group of teachers this year. We did the same thing and then we do a debrief so that the teachers can talk about the things that they saw and then really take back strategies that would work for them when they're working with our instructional coach. This is probably one of my most proud indicators because we have slid over to the blue um in um for the RCCI and this really I think speaks to some of
064the work that we've done last year with um setting the criteria for not enrolled and really the students thought oh this is how you know what I need to do to not enroll period but we really looked at the criteria that was required to move that CCI and we kind of embedded it as kind of a sneaky way to get the kids to move across um without really even knowing it. And so some of the things that we did um for example um if our seniors were going to have a not enrolled, we wanted them to have completed a pathway or be in the capstone. Plus, they also needed to have a college class. This year we've added an AP class um met standard in both the ELA and math on the CASP and be
065on track for A throughG. They don't have to do all of those things, but they have to do a combination of them which definitely help us. Um and it all we also know that that prepares them for life after high school. And so it's a win-win. We feel uh it's the same thing for um our English uh language arts. Um we've seen an increase in that. And I really want I believe that that is part of us doing our discussions and our chats on the CASP testing and the importance of it with our juniors before testing season. We talk about why it's important, what it means because a lot of them just didn't really take it seriously because there wasn't an incentive for them. When we spoke about what it does and we attach that
066not enrolled period to it, um we really saw some increase in um at least the effort. We know that the students have the knowledge, they have the skill, it's just making sure that they put in that effort. So, we're really uh pleased with our um improvement in our English language arts as well. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Any questions for Miss Coat before she might step away? >> When um when there's no performance color, does that mean that there's not enough data? Okay. >> Yes. Thank you. Yeah. So each of the indicators um depending on if it's for the whole school like suspensions versus if it's just for cast testing varies and so for each of the indicators it might be theory students they actually have those in their guides what is the number of
067students they must have to have a performance in those colors. She was fast. Thank you miss. So it's exciting to hear from our schools because they are doing um great things. Um and so again this is a major report. The dashboard is released um this year by December. Um again we have some moving towards November and October is the date um for the state to make sure we get that out. And so a lot of this a lot of these metrics will be the same ones that are reported in June also. So there are requirements. Some of our local measures are not there yet because some of them were taken for the third quarter. However, as Miss Cop was talking about and if you saw her wording, we're looking at when we're looking at state
068testing 11th graders. So when we're looking at state testing for ELA and math, we're looking at the class of 25 because they took it last year, right? And the class of 26 as they're going to be taking it this year. Are you off a year? I am off a year. um and then 24 and 25. And what I mean by that is because it's so genius. So we're not comparing again the same kids. And so we talk about that a lot when we're looking at um the state dashboard data that some of the data when we are comparing year to year is how the state student is not the same students. And so we should be conscientious as we look at this data. So it's exciting that we're going up. Um however again what are
069we seeing and that's why we have implemented the local assessments. So throughout their high school, we have the opportunity to see the that growth measure and where students need help and possibly interventions to help them get to grade level. Um again the college and career indicator that has continued to be u modifying with the state. Um that's exciting that we have none no one none of our subgroups um none of our schools. Um one big component was they took um it went from passing two AP tests with three or better to not in the AP class and getting a C minus or better. So now every student in a AP class is counted towards that metric. But again with the CCI and even the A3G, we are looking at um the class that graduated for
070that year. So it's not all freshman, sophomore, and juniors. In real life, we have students taking the AP test and the SPback. We don't have that um data until they actually graduate and we submit it for our Calpads. We do have some other subgroups still performing in the latest level and again um we recognize that as a district and with our sites as we continue to have those conversations. But we do have a wonderful crop explorer that is um updated bannually and has great information and is broken down by our subgroups by our school sites and it has a comparison from year to year and so we do have all our metrics available there. So that is a lot of one. I'll kind of go through both the rest of the goals quickly. Um, our
071goal two is our school climbing and culture. We're looking at our safe environment, emotional and physical. And so, we're looking at our school facilities, our climbing and culture, how we're getting um our students engaged. Uh, so looking at their social emotional health um how we're providing um interventions across all the tiers and domains and also a family and community um input as we have the participation. Again, a lot some of these are local metrics. And so again, local metrics, our custodians go do our fit tool, which is facility inspection tool. Um there are suspension and extensions based on our student data. Um that's reported to the state. Same thing with grad rate. So some of these metrics are again local that we're tracking with our own data within ARIES and then some of it is
072what we're reporting to Calpads to the state. Um, our California healthy kids survey is what we'll start using for connectedness and school safety, but we also use a pan survey throughout the year to help um, gauge our students progress um, academically, their social, emotional um, and their input where they feel towards our school climate and culture. both ways are equitable access and again um really taking that step back and looking at our broad course of study and how we providing those scaffolds and supports to students who are coming to us who may not be at grade level um coming to us um from all the different feeder schools and may not be high school ready and so how can we help support them in our classes and again looking at those interventions in academic behavioral
073and emotional um implementing technology. Um, you know, SQL is looking at AI. Um, our district child development center along with transportation and nutritional services that we fit here. Again, these metrics are kind of as a whole as we're looking at what we're doing and making sure we provide those supports. Um, there wasn't any there. So, modified thinkings. Um, our classifying is remain at about 16%. Again, if you look at our data and sometimes when Miss Brennan presents, you know, we look at that MHSD as a secondary school, we have a lot of our EL students are LES, long um term English language learners, you know, and so how are we getting those students reclassified? Um if they've been here longer than six years, how they've been here less than four years, that reclassification rate is
074higher um for our students who are coming in. And so it is interesting data to look at and seeing how we can still provide our sports. However, overall our English proficiency for ELS did improve this last year. Some of our metrics we do here in the spring and so we'll be reporting out on those um in June. Our four is um we really modified four this last time to make sure that it is more making a whole I want to say whole child, right? We're talking about staff care, but we want to make sure that our staff are going over and beyond. You know, they're being effective, engaging, innovative, and they are committed to um growing in lifelong learning to make sure we are supporting our students. And so with goal four, we are being
075conscientious of who we're hiring and who we're retaining um again our professional development with depth and knowledge, our English, our math, moving on science and history with the new develop curriculum um integrations and um again um making sure we're supporting our subgroups as we go through our um professional development. And so our data and again data works we sometimes are pulling from last year's data to show out this year and so um we're 96.5 fully credential teachers and subject area this not necessarily counting on interns or pips so that is fantastic um we have 19 without full credentials we have 27 with assignment meaning that's less than 1% and again ed services does a fantastic job um throughout working with induction um book sale and everything else to make sure um we are meeting and
076supporting our teachers. So again, trying to wrap up the hands and moon pages um for you guys in the mid year um sharing the great things that we're doing that you get to do here um monthly. And so again, how the OCAP process goes, it is an annual update. And so we are in the last year annual update. And so in the fall, we have our sites um welcoming our families and making sure they get feedback from their staff and students how they're implementing the goals at their sites. And then in the springtime or second semester, that's when the district will go out. And so again, we are trying different things this year. Um we're all going to sound like we try this. Um the last two years we tried to have kind of like
077um our course spheres but with our different supports. Um and the turnout wasn't as successful. We had more staff than actually families and students who showed up. And so this year, like we always talk about, everybody goes to sporting events. I said, "Let's try basketball." And so we've had two tables at the basketball game passing out brochures and we've had nearly 75 responses giving out some swag at halftime between games to encourage people to help respond. Just a quick survey. How can we make this do better? Um, and again, it's Mrs. Val's responsibility. I appreciate your first question is what are we doing well? So again, no is improvement, but what are we catching that we can keep doing and do that well? Um, and then we have required DAC, CSA, DTA, um, and their
078students. And then pray request with some of our community members. They still want us to make sure we have that form. So, we are offering a form this year, excuse me, there in April. We'll be having you at the district office. That's been a lot. All right, closing. And sorry about this. Um, just kind of round, you know, um, wrap up, excuse me, on the positives. Um and so overall we have improved on our dashboard indicators and really some of that started with that 23 grow indicator and every site had to create their own actual metric and then with Mrs. Binger making sure that we're following up mid year and also summarizing how they're doing in the spring um and then our data checks throughout the year. is just bringing data to the front and
079datadriven conversations to make decisions and so I believe this is why we are seeing improvements in our dashboard indicators. Um we are continually working with our depth knowledge and our deeper learning. Um again we're supporting our course subjects with the curriculum development and continue working with our teachers to help support them do what we can with them. But we thank you guys for your support as we continue moving forward. And I don't have anyone that says questions. So I guess I'm done. So there's no questions. >> No questions. Any questions? >> All right. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> All right. Um, next up is item 12, employee associations comment period. Do we have any representatives? Looks like we don't. Um, so we'll move on to um item 13, the consent agenda. Is there a
080motion to approve the consent agenda? >> So moved. >> Is there a second? Second. Trustee, would you like to acknowledge the donations? Yes. We would like to thank the following for their donations. Uh Neil Morris Food Grade Solutions, Mareno Brothers Trucking, Incorporated. Thank you again for your donations. >> President Jainga, I'd like to congratulate uh the permanent principal here at Ren Valley High School, Tiffany Cosman. >> Oh, I suppose you ought >> Did you vote? >> Not yet. No. >> Okay, I'll wait for the next one. Are there any questions? >> Okay, if there aren't any questions, um, call for the vote. >> M, I I hope this goes well. Sorry. >> Please roll back. The final result doesn't come up on my computer. >> Okay, it's fine. I do. Motion passes unanimously. Thank you.
081>> And the new principal at Livingston High School, Miss Rose. Congratulations. Item number 14, action agenda. Item A, revision to board policy. Miss Johnson, tonight I bring before you board policy 1445, response to immigration. In 2018, the California legislature added education code 234.7 to safeguard students and school communities from potential increased federal immigration enforcement actions. At that time, we adopted board policy 5145.13 to align with that requirement. Recently, the California legislature amended the code to strengthen protections and the attorney the attorney general revised its model policy language to reflect those changes. School districts are required to revise their policies to align with these changes and upload them to the CDE online portal by March 1st, 2026. In early 2025, the US Department of Homeland Security rescended its long-standing policy limiting immigration enforcement in schools, and
082the education code was amended to further safeguard students in school communities by imposing new restrictions, prohibitions, and obligations on districts. The new language prohibits the district from disclosing the education records or information about a student, students, family, or household without written consent. It also prohibits staff from granting an immigration officer or employee access to a student unless there is a valid judicial subpoena warrant or court order. Finally, it requires a district to post the know your educational rights document on the website and its administrative buildings. The previous policy focused strictly on students, so it was housed in the 5000s, but the new policy language applies to staff as well. So, this board policy would now fall in the 1000's community relations. The >> no objection. You make the motion to read the second read and
083approve the board policies recommended. >> Is there a second? >> Second. >> Are there any questions? >> Call for the vote. Mrs. Roback. >> Yes. >> All five eyes. >> Um, yes, ma'am. >> Okay. Motion passes unanimously. Thank you. Item 14B, acceptance of financial and performance audits. Dr. Wymer, >> due to uh government shutdowns and various other reasons, um the auditors were delayed on two uh two issues this year. Uh both of those are here for you tonight. Usually they would have come uh at least a month earlier, but we do have them now from our auditors. The first one is the audit for measure M. And the key line is under the audit results is uh the results of our test indicate that in all material respects the district has properly accounted for the
084expenditures held in the building fund measure M and that such expenditures were made for authorized bond purchases. Superintendent recommends the board of trustees accepts the annual performance audit reporting in June 30th, 2025. >> Is there a motion to approve? So moved. >> Is there a second? >> Second. Second. >> Sorry. >> Are there any questions? Okay. Call for the vote. >> Thank you. get your vote. >> Oh, >> I have to have to record my vote. That might help. >> It's five. >> Motion passes. Moving on to 14C, acceptance of annual financial audit report period ending June 30th, 2025. Dr. Wymer. >> So, the second audit we have for you today is our regular uh um general fund and and district audit. Um and we do have no material findings, which is what we want
085to know. So, there were no findings again this year. Superintendent recommends the board of trustees accept the annual financial audit report through June 30th, 2025. Is there a motion to approve? Is there a second? >> Second. >> Are there any questions? >> Call for the vote. >> Thank you. Did you get agreements? >> I'm waiting for um Mrs. Ham, Mr. Coleman. >> You got it. And recorded. >> Miss, you were an I also. >> Yes. >> I'm so am I. Mine's saying >> I figured out why you didn't see the vote because I didn't hit the share results button. >> Now we see it on there. >> Got it. >> Yay. >> Yeah, I was sending myself an email. >> Motion passes. Thank you. Next up is item 15, superintendent's report. >> Thank you, President
086Jayinga. I want to dedicate this report to my mom, Nancy Violet Peterson. She passed away last week at 89. My mom was the youngest of five sisters raised by a single mother in the west side of Turlock. She taught me to be strong, advocate for myself, and most of all, believe in myself. She was a kind and giving person. Most of you know I spent a lot of time with her every week the past five years as she struggled with dementia. It was an honor to care for her in the same way she cared for me my entire life. I was able to be with her the final two weeks and while it is always difficult, I was truly blessed to walk the last mile with her. We will miss her greatly. But we are
087at peace and very thankful for the legacy she bestowed on our family. I appreciate everyone's condolences here. I want to share one other thing about this experience. I was gone for 10 days or so. I came back Monday and we had our normal cabinet meeting and I said, quote, "Well, I've been gone for a while. What problems or issues do I need to be aware of?" And I looked around the table and there were crickets. No one said anything. And when you go through a lifechanging situation like that and you come back to work and you have that kind of support, um, all I can do is be grateful and say thank you to the entire cabinet. So, thank you. Moving on to communications and future agenda items. Trustee Pickle, let's start with you. Yes.
088Um, first of all, again, my condolences and to and I'm glad you're able to spend time with me as you um and uh uh looking forward um academic counseling uh this weekend. So, looking forward to uh to volunteering um at that. Um it's amazing seeing what our students um are able to do and um showcasing their their strengths and their and their work. Um looking forward to High School Musical too. I think that'll be a great production. So um again, thank you to everyone and um that's it. Thank you, Trusty H. Thank you for sharing your mommy and um our thoughts are definitely with you and your family. Congratulations, Mrs. Gosling. Welld deserved. excited to see you back at Golden Valley. And obviously the the the presentation today by Golden Valley staff and the collaboration
089is tremendous and um there are a lot of students lining up to try and get it to Golden Valley for the those programs which is fantastic. Um at uh the MCA state of education today, one of the things they talked about was truency court and I forgot to ask about it. Are you familiar with how that might work for Mr. Peterson? >> I'm not I I have a general idea. I'm not fully aware of all the details. >> I guess maybe we can do a presentation on that and how it will >> I would love to. >> Okay, wonderful. Thank you. And then I just I believe we will not meet again before playoffs start for our winter sports. I also wanted to wish all of those teams tremendous luck moving forward. Trusty Coleman, Mr.
090Peterson from Coleman family to you. We are there to support you anytime you need anything. We are for you. Shout out to Tiffany. Congratulations. It's awesome. Great showcase tonight. Um, I really liked how Amber had that set up and kind of showed us that they've incorporated everybody in there. Their art world fine arts was awesome. Looking forward to the CTE competition next week for sure. Uh, attended the MCE state of the county office today. It was a good presentation as well. Shout out to all of our counselors out there for counseling. Good job. Um, one question I have for you because we heard about this today about testing isn't the end all be all. And so as as Janette was giving her presentation tonight, Mrs. Ballinger, I was thinking, how do we what's another metric
091that we could use? And I was wondering if we could track students that go from I am one to two to three or another one just to give us an idea about how our how our best students are growing in that regard rather than just the test that takes one grade one day snapshot. Thank you. >> Would you like a report on that >> or the pulse? >> The pulse is funny. It really is. I just you know, just kind of curiosity and >> we we have it so I can get it. >> I'd appreciate it. Thank you. >> Thank you. Okay, trusty everyone sitting here here with you. >> Thank you. >> And uh just want to say thank you to everyone, all staff at all sites. Uh we're we're doing great things at
092all sites. And of course, I always thank everyone who stays here to the end. Uh even if you don't have to. I know Mr. Pan always hides in the back, but we see you. >> Thank you, officer the whole time. And again, thank you all for what you do for the district. >> Thank you. Um, >> um, our condolences. Um, it's never easy no matter what our ages or theirs. Um, Principal Gosman, congratulations and thank you for hosting us this evening. Great presentations. I'm looking forward to seeing this um, High School Musical. Thank you. Um, congratulations to the winners of the battle of the books. Principal co campando is not here but I think cap won and then the teachers forget which school was it that one teachers who won >> that was last week
093but anyway oh go I don't think well congratulations you say that um but you know and that's always fun and looking forward to the count this weekend. Um, and then all the sports, lots of fun sports activities going on. So, can't wait to see who who makes it all the way to the end.
