Mt. Diablo USD Board Meeting 4/15/2026 Part 1

001Good. I'm Mount Diablo Unified School District Board Meeting for April 15th, 2026. And we'll start with our roll call. Trustee McDougall? Present. >> Trustee Lawrence? Present. Trustee Mayo? Present. Trustee Zaehring? Here. And Trustee Mason is here as well. I doesn't look like we have any public comment this evening. We do not, so we'll go on with reading the agenda for our closed session. Uh first thing would be no negotiations. The board may discuss negotiations or provide direction to its representatives regarding represented employees at their government code 549576. Next would be possible discipline, dismissal, release, or reassignment of a public employee, government code section 54957B1. 3.3, the board will meet in closed session to discuss the following matter, conference with legal counsel, existing litigation, current government code 54956.9D1. Number one is Goska versus Mount Diablo Unified School District, California Department of Industrial Relations case number WCCM 1006639. Number two would be Ryan versus Mount Diablo Unified School District, California Department of Industrial Relations case number WCCM 1014166. And number three would be bankrupt dual immersion family association versus Mount Diablo Unified School District, Contra Costa County Superior Court case number N26-0580. 3.4, the board will meet in closed session to discuss the following matters, conference with legal counsel, anticipated litigation, significant exposure to litigation under government codes number 54956.9D2. 3.5, possible expulsion of student number 12-26 from River Grove Schools in the Mount Diablo Unified School District. 3.6, stipulated expulsion agreement for student 13. uh -26. And 3.7, request for second continuance to student number 14-26. And we are now in closed session. Thank you.
