Miss Reard, yes. Mr. Walker, yes. Miss Woods, yes. Six, yeses. Thank you. Does that conclude your recommendations? Yes. Thank you, Dr. Jones. your recommendations. Thank you, Madam President. Uh, first, I'd like to recommend
ratification of the following contracts. Is there a motion? So, move. Second. I do have a question for you before we move forward. We've received several emails regarding the flock group camera piece of it and Mr. Walker did put out some questions about it. Most of the emails are concerned about how outside agencies utilize the software ourselves, particularly ICE with the immigrant population. Could you just speak a little bit to how we ease individuals of how we're protecting any use of this or if we are anything like if you can just give us some information? How we're protecting um immigrants? No. how the emails that we have received are how other local authorities or not even local like the ICE agency utilizes this material to actually cause harm to that group. Question for me is if
that is true is this something that we're exposed to with this one and if that's not true can you tell us how that this wouldn't hurt a population that is really big in our institution? So um currently we have uh we utilize flock um and it hasn't had hasn't been an issue uh up to this point. However, I cannot say more the mic it's hard to hear. I cannot say definitively that it won't be there won't be an issue in the future. Um so that's kind of where where we are with flock. Okay. Any other questions from the board? Yes. Go ahead. Mr. Walker comment Mr. Walker then Dr. So, I just want to clarify, Dr. Jones, are we currently using this? I believe. Yes. Yes. I've uh seen several, you know, license plates and
pictures and and so forth that uh Chief Wright has shown with me showed me. So, what what has been the results thus far? Like, how has this actually helped like the district itself? And has information been shared with outside agencies with regards to things that may go on in neighborhoods or with other individuals relative to outside agencies only uh the Dayton Police Department uh and perhaps the sheriff's as well. Uh it has helped DPD and and McGomery County Sheriff's um on occasion uh if something happens on school grounds uh and the cameras capture something um but then what's the likelihood that you know a lot of crime occurs on our campuses? It just doesn't happen, you know, and so uh I understand that it is viewed um as a lopsided situation right now. And so,
um, you know, we're presenting you for a vote. So, if if hypothetically, right, if we vote no on this contract, what where do we tie it into right now? Like, do we still owe anything after this or No. Okay. All right. Thank you, Madam President. Dr. Baylor. Yeah. dealing with the flock system myself. Uh, one of the things I do know for sure is that it does not do any type of facial recognition or anything like that. It's just license plate numbers uh and the description of cars. Uh, you might want to check because if I'm if I'm not mistaken, even if ISIS or entity like that wanted to use it, uh, we would have to give them permission. We can take permission off of even DPS. I mean uh uh DPD, sheriff's department and
things like that. So if we don't want them to see something, then we can always take their access away from them. But the fog cameras usually are only used to capture the license plate and colors and makes of cars and that's it, right? Uh, I could see it being used by DPD from having cars stolen, uh, or some type of crime being committed on our campuses to be able to go into that camera system and then see who was on our property at that time. So, that's all I really have to say. Right. Thank you. Any other questions or comments? Go ahead, Mr. Smith. Miss Riner as well. Mr. Riner, after Mr. Smith, go first. M Ryan can go first. M Ryan, I would just like to um request that we vote on the flock
contract separately, please. Mr. Smith. All right. Um Dr. Jones with the Alma Advisory Group's contract. Um, my question to you would be, are you are you confident or do you believe that your department working alongside of HR could do a similar search? And then I ask you that and then I have a follow-up question. Um, you're asking if uh an alternative to Alma if yes, the business services division and HR I I I believe that HR is is definitely more than uh capable um of securing you know potential candidates. Um however this was floated as an option and you know Okay. And then also in this process, have you guys gone and got quotes from other searches or search firms um or any other uh IT head hunting firms? Um I have done some research.
Uh I have not gotten as far as uh receiving quotes uh from I believe it's uh six or seven uh different firms. Okay. Um, now that's why I raised the question because I know we've done work with Alma and um been pleased with the work, but I think that was different for me as they were board um appointed positions. I would definitely be more comfortable with first allowing you guys to to have a crack at it or um even putting out uh more fillers to see if there's any alternative options. So, I think just us coming in and just voting on one quote and we haven't done that due diligence um that make me more comfortable. Would you like to vote on this one separately too? Um we could. I would also ask um Dr.
Jones, do you feel comfortable putting this forward or would you want to be able to have some time to go through and look at some other alternatives? Uh to be honest, uh I think the Elma group did a a really good job uh bringing, you know, uh Dr. Dr. Lawrence uh to the district who's already here, but you know, um I mean, I could I could go either way to be honest, but I do have full confidence in uh Dr. Davis and and her team as well. Are there any other questions? Yes. So for the AMA group, did you reach out to them and get this quote? How did this come about? Um, I got Dr. Jones. So we discussed this with our legal team because I believe today we issued a contract, some other
stuff. Speak up. I said we discussed this with our legal team on that piece of it. And since we utilized Armor Group, I put Dr. Jones in touch with them with a quote based off of their executive search. gave it to him for him to contact the individuals and talk through it. I believe he did that one since it's here. So that's how it came to fruition. So the Alma Group is your recommendation in order to hire an executive director of it instead of posting a job and actually allowing the internal process to take place first before we spend $39,000. Well, um it was an option and I knew that the board would have to vote on it. So, um, but again, I I have full confidence in Dr. Davis and the HR team. So,
which one is your recommendation, Dr. Jones? To spend the 39,000 or allow the internal process to go forward first? Well, in light of uh our budget woes, um I would go with Dr. Davis and the HR team. So, we're pulling this off. You want to pull this off? I want the board to to vote for it. Vote on it, you know. Okay. I'm done. Okay. Any other questions? Seeing none, may we have a vote? Well, before we do that, clarification except for the flock. The vote is for the flock contract first. Everything except for flock. Everything except for flock. Thank you. So, flock and is separate, right? Because we're still asking to vote on it separate. He said he Yes. I thought All right. So that will do that. So everything will be block. Go
ahead. Everything. Okay. Yeah. Everything except for AMA and fly. Other three contracts. President Goodwin. Yes. Dr. Bailey. Yes. Mr. Lacy. Yes. Mr. Smith. Yes. Miss Reiner. Yes. Mr. Walker. Yes. Miss Woods. Yes. Six. Yeses. Flock. Camera. Boom. Flat group. Yeah. Proof. Okay. President Goodwin. Yes. Dr. Bailey. Yes. Mr. Lacy. Yes. Mr. Smith. Yes. Miss. Reard? No. Mr. Walker? No. Miss Woods, no. Four yeses to no. I'm a reg. Dr. Goodwin. Yes. Dr. Bailey. No. Mr. Lacy. Yes, Mr. Smith. No, Miss Reard. Yes, Mr. Walker. No, Miss Woods. Yes. Three to three. Motion fails. All right. Your next recommendation My next recommendation is to ratify uh the resolution for the administrative salary scale for executive director of IT. So moved. Second. Any questions on the motion? Yes. Go ahead. Why do we need to do an
executive director of it on a scale when we have a salary scale that already has an executive director position on it with the same amount? Because they have to create the position. We don't have it on. We haven't had it in our thing. So that's what he's asking us to do is create the position. Say say that but we don't any other time to create the position like this is how you're supposed to create the position in this entire year. We've never done that process. Yes, we have. Missed a couple times. I've been at every meeting. We've never done this process of adding a a salary scale for an executive director position because it's already on our actual salary scale. who's adding the position which is created. Okay, let's just go with the vote. Any
other questions? Seeing none, then we have a vote. President Goodwin, yes. Dr. Bailey, yes. Mr. Lacy, yes. Mr. Smith, yes. Miss Reinard, yes. Mr. Walker, no. Mr. Stupid. Miss Woods? Yes. Five vs. No. Does that conclude your recommendations? Yes, madam president. Thank you. In so much as the board of education is committed to the tier updating of its policies, rules and regulations manual. The committee which was appointed has been working towards that goal. The following is brought at this time for second reading in compliance with board file. Now therefore, it be resolved that the board of education of the Dayton City School District, McGomery County, Ohio, hereby accepts and adopts the following policies that have been codified for inclusions in the handbook of policies, rules, and regulations. DAC out of committee charter. I move that
we adopt these policies. Is there a second? Second, Mr. Walker. Any questions on the motion? Seeing none, may we have a vote? President Goodwin. Yes. Dr. Bailey, yes. Mr. Lacy, yes. Mr. Smith, yes. Miss Rhina, yes. Mr. Walker, yes. Miss Woods, yes. Six. Yeses. Thank you. Can we take a 10-minute recess before we transition into the trivia, please? Got 10 minutes. I told first movie. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] One second. It has to boot up. You guys should just sit down here. We go. Okay. All right. Thank you. We are back. I just saw Dr. Williams, but he walked off. So, board members, if you guys could just join us down at the bottom, we're going to just do a a couple of tributes to board member Karen Wick. Hello.
Hello. My name is my PhD. But um uh just like many of you uh when I found out about Miss Wick um I was deeply saddened uh cuz she was someone one who was an advocate supporter for the arts. Um she loved everything about the band. Uh I I was here at performances during the summer and um she was just somebody who really really appreciated what we were doing over here. So, we um for our concert last week, we decided to pay uh a tribute to her by playing uh playing You Are My Sunshine by the Clark sisters. 3. [Music] Hey [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Rowan will come up and read Miss Wick's obituary and then we'll be open to public comment of anyone
who want to say anything. Good evening um everyone. Good evening to Mr. Jim Gier and Coco and her partner. Um I am going to read Karen Wake's obituary. So bear with me please. Karen Wick Gier was born Karen Miller in Urbana, Ohio on January 23rd, 1961. The youngest child of workingclass secular Protestants, Bill and Marie Miller. She would often say she grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and largely Catholic forces Ohio. When she was 14 years old, she and her sister Kim inherited a paper route from their eldest brother Chris, a job she held with great responsibility and pride. Despite her own feelings of being an outsider, her magnetism was felt and shared from a young age, epitomized by her being voted homecoming queen in 1978. After graduating high school, she moved
to the big city, Dayton, Ohio, and became a secretary at Reynolds and Reynolds. She soon after married Devon Wick, another Versailles native. She was deeply moved by the inspiration, support, and humor of the Wick family. and even after they separated, always kept the family name. In 1990, she met Jim Gier at Nukem's Tavern in the Oregon district. In 1994, they were driving down Fifth Street and saw the old American saloon for sale, and Karen suggested they buy it and open a restaurant. Soon after her daughter Koko was born along with Koko's 520 grill, thus inaugurating a new venue for her legendary hospitality by which many have been touched. In 1998, their son Hector was born. Even though she had known if she wanted to be a mother, it was nonetheless something she excelled at and
would always say her children were her greatest masterpieces. She was active as a Dayton public schools parent and went on to serve on the Dayton public schools board from 2017 to 2025. Her love of and aptitude for public service led her to run for city commissioner in 2025. a campaign through which she dep which she deepened her already rich community connections. Karen took pleasure in the work of creating experiences for others, often making breakfast for her campaign meetings, personally fulfilling and delivering catering requests, hosting birthdays, retirement parties, and life celebrations. Swiffering the floors, vacuuming, keeping things clean and organized. What? Quotum, [Music] that would be a Karen word. Necessities which she never shied from or thought herself above. Her care was boundless. She knew that love came from care and not the other way around.
She had exquisite taste and real style. As if her kindness weren't radiant enough, she will be remembered for her brilliance, creativity, profound generosity, sense of humor, and commitment to excellence in all things. But perhaps most of all, for the feeling she likely gave you of being truly witnessed, she is survived by her long-term partner in life and business, Jim Gier, and their children, Coco and Hector, as well as her mother, Marie, her sister, Kim, and brother Chris, her stepchildren, James, James, Adalie, Nicole, and Tracy. Many loving family members, friends, and beloved community. There is much to be said about a life so big and benevolent. The family appreciates the many tributes and articles that have sought to document her life and work. All who loved her are invited to share to further share in her
memory on winter solless December 21st 2025 at Omega Baptist Church with visitation at 300 p.m. and service at 4. In lie of flowers, the family asks, did you support a local independent restaurant this week? I have one more personal thing that I would like to share with you. If you give me one second, when I thought of Karen, thank you How is reading an obituary much easier than reading your own words? When I thought of Karen, I thought of love. if you had the pleasure of um being in her presence, being a friend, being a confidant, just being if you had that luxury. But when I thought of Karen, I I thought of love and I thought of what the Bible often says about love. That it's patient, it's kind, it's longsuffering, it holds no
record, no fault, it's just all together Karen. It's Karen. So in my thinking of that, I said, "If you love Karen and want to honor her memory and her name, you will purpose in your heart every day to love people and esteem them higher than yourself in good and in bad. If you love Karen, not in word, but in deed, love your neighbor as you would want to be loved. If you love Karen, your actions will forever speak louder than words. Karen was a woman of action. She showed love in tangible ways through her thoughtful text to me. A last minute phone call to meet her. No matter where we were going, sometimes I had no idea where I was meeting her, but I went a hot meal because she loved my son. If he
got fed, I got fed. And she made sure of that. She picked Olly up on days where I couldn't get him. I could just say, "Karen, could you please?" And she go, "Right in the middle of lunch, but I'm on my way." I never worried if he was safe, but I knew that she had him. if you got an opportunity to be with her or a simple drive by because she often just drove by my house just to see if my door was open because she knew if the door was open that meant I was home and that she could just come. And that is exactly what she did. Her love was visible. You could see it and you certainly could feel it. She wanted everyone to be their ve their best selves and she
lived that example every single day. If you love Karen Wick Gier, you will organize your closets. If you love Karen with Gier, you will dry dry clean and iron your bedding. But above above all else, if you love Karen Wick Gier, you will seek things that are higher than yourselves. and you will continue to serve just as Karen served up until the very day that I went into Coco's on that Thursday and got a meal for my son. She served with a smile and she always got a hug and I always call me later or and if you don't I'll call you. She was everything that you saw. There was no doubt that she was coming to see about you. But if you love her, you will continue to do what's right about her. And
I pray that we all take a little bit of Karen and keep it with us and think about her often because her children and Jim, they will think about her every single day. But if you think about her often, think about her children and the things that she loved, which is people. So I ask that you be kind to each other. Just be kind. It's free and it never holds any grudges. Be kind. Thank you for letting me speak. And thank you for loving my friend, Miss Karen Wit Gier. Okay. Hi guys. Um, I don't really know what I want to say honestly because when Miss Booth text me when I was at work and told me Miss Wick passed away, I was going through a lot and it was like I didn't really know
how to process things and then Miss Goings had text me and it was like I got on Facebook and I seen everything and it was just so surreal because I was just seeing Miss Wick coming coming into the student senate meetings and hugging us and sitting with us and just talking to us about what we were talking about and she was asking me like catch me up on what was going on and stuff. But one memory that really like just sticks with me is um over the summer we went to the parade to campaign for her. Um it was me in the old student senate group from last year. We went to campaign with her and I really got to see who Miss Wick truly was. Well is. I got to see who she truly
is. And her spirit was just so genuine and pure. Like I never seen her upset. Even I know everybody gets upset, but I never seen her upset. I never seen her mad. I never seen her sad. She was always so happy. Just happy to be there. It didn't matter if it was the biggest thing, smallest thing. She was just happy to be there. And at the most recent student senate meeting, it just felt different because she wasn't there. And I didn't know how to react to that. Like I was just preparing myself for today because I'm used to her sitting at the end and us talking before the meeting or after. And it's just me just catching her up on my life. Like I got into OSU and I couldn't tell her that. It was
like I don't know. She was like my board member grandma. So, it just it just feels surreal and it really does hurt. But I love her a lot. A lot If anyone would like to come up and just say anything you want about Miss Wig, just share how you feel about her or share your moments with her, you can. The floor is open to everyone. the band, right? Everyone I didn't want to, but I'm glad to. Uh when I began to teach here at Edward Joe Brown began to see this this lady every day like who is this lady? Didn't really know the board members but who is this lady? This small little short little frail lady. She's not she's not scared to be here. She's not scared to be here. She walked amongst the
hallways. the kids, talking to them, smiling, engaging with them. It wasn't shortly after that I found myself in the office of Miss Rowan and and Karen was there and I I she lit up that little room. Something about her. Her spirit was just like Na said, just pure, just kind, sweet lady. I had the privilege of maybe I shouldn't say this. [Laughter] I knew Brooke. If you know, you know. And when I met Brooke, I knew I was in there. No doubt about it. I was in there and I loved loved her and she loved us here at Edwin Joel Brown. So on behalf of Edwin Joel Brown School, we're going to truly miss Miss Karen. Going to follow my brother here. Um, there was a lot of pictures that were around on Facebook of
Karen and there was one particular one that I saw and as soon as I saw it, I said that is the picture that I'm going to use to post and this is before I this is before Belmont was playing last week and everything but this picture her in the yellow and immediate immed Immediately in my spirit I said sunshine. And so I'm actually going to read the Facebook post that I made to sunshine again before um the band played last week. I made this on December the 7th. It says sunshine. That's what this picture represents to me. I was shocked when I got the call a little after midnight yesterday slash today. This is unreal yet real. This is devastating to our community yet I know her legacy will live on. Sunshine, it eclipse darkness
and feeds the soul, spirit and mind. Without it, we are malnourished, grumpy, and tired. With it, we are whole, liberated, jubilant, and focused. You, Karen, embody the best of light, love, and life itself. Sweet sunshine Karen Wick Gier, thank you for being Dayton's sunshine. Thank you for pouring from your heart the gift of hospitality, the arts, civic engagement, humanitarianism, and philanthropy. All caps here. Thank you for pouring out to our scholars at Edwin Joel Brown Middle School. I saw Karen walking these halls as it's already been said having conversations about the work that we were doing here in the building and just she loved these scholars and she believed in the scholars that attend Edwin Joel Brown Middle School. I will miss seeing you. I will miss seeing you at Coco's. I will miss seeing
you at Omega Baptist Church and all around Dayton. While I hate making this post and even saying this here now, I honor you, Karen. I applaud you. I respect you. Please shine on us, sweet Aaron. We need it. Until we meet again. [Applause] Good evening. Now therefore, be it resolved that the Dayton Board of Education does hereby formally recognize, honor, and commemorate the
life, service, and legacy of board member Karen Wick. And be it further resolved that in the in lasting tribute to her leadership and instrumental role in the revitalization of Welcome Stadium, the press box at Welcome Stadium shall hereby be named the Karen Wick Press Box and that the superintendent and appropriate district staff are hereby directed to take all necessary actions to implement this dedication, including but not limited to the installation of permanent external and internal signage bearing the name the Karen Wick Press Box, the update of district records, facility references, and official materials to reflect this designation in coordination with athlet athletics facilities and communication staff to ensure the dedication is appropriately recognized and preserved. And be it further resolved that this resolution shall stand as an official expression of the board's deepest sympathy and

And be it further resolved that this resolution shall be entered into the permanent records of the Dayton Board of Education is a lasting testament to Karen Wick's extraordinary service, enduring spirit, and the profound legacy she leaves within Dayton public schools. I move to adopt this resolution. Questions on the motion? Sure. Sure. I will withdraw my motion so we can do it after the video. Lights. Lights up. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Thank you to everybody who participated and helped us just honor board member Karen Wick. Miss Rhiner, Dr. Goodwin, I motion to approve the resolution. Second questions on the res on the motion. The resolution isn't on here for us to review. Miss Gar or Miss um
K the resolution, can you update it on board docs for them to see? And if we I'm just curious of what what the cost will be to do this and what has the discussion been around it because we we just heard about this last week and there was nothing that came out to us about it. So I just want to make sure they're being transparent with the public about what it is that we're actually looking to do because again this is first time that as a board we're looking at this. Uh, board member Walker. Uh, we just based on my experience as business manager and some of the um just estimates that we've had put out for other improvements in Welcome Stadium. Um, I don't have an exact figure, but um somewhere in the neighborhood
of 50 to 75,000 to start. Um, and I can get you some other numbers after that. But I saw um the resolution. I heard about it last week. I thought I thought it was a great idea. I know that we have we don't have unlimited funds and I know we've been talking about some of the things that we do in terms of finances, but um I I can find uh resources to be able to redirect to be able to figure out a way to to cover this. I think it's the right thing to do. Can I ask why it wasn't shared with the elected body last week? Didn't get finished until Sunday. I wasn't aware it wasn't on here either. Okay. Dr. Jones or Mr. Rafford, do you have anything on this one? Uh, currently
we do not have anything yet, but uh, we will definitely get numbers for you. Okay. Uh, Borman Walker, uh, I don't want to clarify your question, but are you asking I think Mr. Rafer has been around for quite some time. Maybe for him to give some background on what the estimated cost would be. Yeah, cuz I mean just looking at it and I and mine mine was just from what we did at transportation, some of the signage um that we did there, some of the outside exterior. So, I'm just going from memory from that. Yeah. For me, I think um as a district, we are still trying to figure out how to put like a true investment in Welcome Stadium. So, I don't I don't want to put something up that's not going to be
seen and actually understand the history behind why we're doing it um at that specific location. I think if we were renaming something here, EJ Brown, where she truly had a lot of impact with a lot of student lives here and staff here and how her memory really can go beyond, um I would love to see something like that. I think again, welcome Sment. The press box is on a side where no one gets to see like the actual true Karen Wick name and the story behind that. So, how would that actually work? Uh, I think the actually the press box faces. So, are we saying that it's going to be on the front side where the field is area or coming into the building? Because if we're looking at coming into the building, that side
is nothing there. Yeah, I I was thinking on the front side coming in. I wasn't thinking on the back side. Mr. Mr. Smith. Um, yes. I first I just think that honoring anyone is something that should take more thought than creating a resolution that currently isn't even on board docs. right now. Like we're about we're saying we're going to vote to instruct operations and tell them to go and do whatever they need to do to pay for a project when we the last month, two, three months have been talking about what funds look like in other departments. We're telling departments when they ask us for requests, well, where do you find it in your budget? Is it in your budget? Do you have the money for this? Okay. Well, we can refresh it and it
would be up right now. So, my issue is that when you are to honor someone, I think you should take the diligence to get with people and say, "What is the best way to honor this person?" Um, that's not any way we've ever done something of this magnitude. When the last time there were names on the press box, it was after meeting with the DPS community and the board and staff and other people to say, "Hey, what is what ideas do you have for this?" When it was named after welcome after he died, there were meetings throughout the Dayton community to say, "How will we honor this person? Let's find the way to honor this person. Let's pull the funds together and say, this is how much this is going to cost. this is what
we're going to do before you instruct other people to do it. And I think uh to Mr. Walker's point, I think there's a a plethora of ways we can honor people, but I'm I'm just more in line with wanting to do what is right by that person's memory. And as I sit here and I hear people talk about Miss Wick, I don't think that she would even be the type of person to say, "Order these people to go out and spend district funds on my name without any conversation with the board and the district community. So I think we're while it is a noble gesture, I think that it would serve us better to actually create some kind of subcommittee, some kind of group to get together, talk with parents, talk with students that she
came across, talk to the teachers that she came across and figure what is a real way to honor this person instead of doing something that feels like we're moving emotionally instead of practically. I think that when we're talking about this kind of thing and Dr. the fact you just threw out just a ballpark saying 50 to75,000. There's few things in this district that people on this board wouldn't raise a eye to if anybody in our staff came and said here spend 75,000 on something today and it's just on the board docks right before you're going to go vote on it. And there's been no kind of conversation about how do we really honor this awesome person except for one idea and now we're saying we're going to vote on it and now before everyone else
we're directing staff to do everything they need to do to make this happen whereas they already are working. So we're telling people now to stop that work and do this other work even though we don't know how much it will cost. We don't know what it would look like and we don't even know if if this is what a community vision would look like cuz Karen was a community person and for us to just come out and say we're going to do this to me it doesn't it doesn't honor her legacy. I just think that we could have done a better job of getting together and figuring out how do we truly honor this person. Thank you. So I will say to we to both of your comments that I mean they're your comments so
everyone on the board al always has an opinion. One thing I did do because Miss F just asked me I did reach out to her family to ask if they would be okay with that piece of it. I will say also with our protocols here anything over 50,000 still has to come to us and our team is very transparent on things that come before us. If Karen had served on this board and she would have been the third longest serving individual, I again I support this and I'm okay. I hear you guys and it's your opinion and that's the beauty of us being on a Democratic board where we get to we get to vote on these things. I have to we don't have to belabor things and all that and that's okay. So, we'll
see. Are there any other comments on the vote? Yeah, I I I just think that I don't want to get in a back and forth with you. It's not a back and forth. I just want you to know that like I'm not it's not a we had longer talks over far less money. It's it's not a back and forth. I just think if you were going to communicate out, you should have communicated to everyone and you didn't do that and that you didn't. But again, I don't want to get into back and forth. I just saw this resolution right now. Yeah. And that's why I'm like I I think that we're we're rushing judgment without really being considerate of things because we still have a school that's been open for 6 months that we haven't
even named. So I I just think and that and that was a resolution or something that you had brought forward yourself as far as you brought forward the policy about it when we was at third good Marshall. So to be to clarify I just think that if we're going to do this then we need to give consideration to everything that we still need to do in this district as well and not just put your priorities at the top of the work of this entire board. Thank you madam president. Any other questions or comments? Now we have a vote. President Goodwin. Yes. Dr. Bailey. Yes. Mr. Lacy. Yeah. Mr. Smith. No. Miss. Reard? Yes. Mr. Walker? No. Miss Woods?
