001My name is Jordan Cvy. Uh my students know me as CVY or Miss C. And I'm currently a science teacher and student council adviser. I started as a sub and I subbed for 10 years. The kids at the Cedar Springs High School were kind and respectful. And so when I saw an opportunity for a science position, I immediately snapped it. My favorite part of the job is that aha moment with the kids. A lot of times it happens when they ask me a question. Every time I will tell them always ask because if you don't have a question I don't have a job and I love my job. I am the adviser for our executive student council. We have five different councils within the high school and the executive student council runs all of them
002um by making sure that everybody is doing what they're supposed to do and then we help plan everything throughout the high school. We work really hard to make sure that we are pumping up that school spirit and that's one of the things that I love about student council. I lost my son last year. When I came back from school after 2 weeks, some of the students were worried that I would be overwhelmed with love, and so they made a schedule for me. They wanted to make sure that I was okay, but also that I was supported. My future here at Cedar hopefully will be a very long time. I would love to retire from here. When I started here, I brought all of my kids. So, my goal is to be here forever. My name
003is Cubby and I am a Red Hawk.
