001My name is Renee Harun and I've been here at Cedar Springs High School for 13 years and I'm in the food service department. Started as a waitress, worked my way up as a manager for 30 years. I had two grandsons. I babysat them every day. And when they started school, I went, what am I going to do? I'm going to go back get into food service. Every morning I prepare breakfast, serve it to the kids. Then I start working in prepping area. I'm in charge of all the salad, fruits, and vegetables. And then I also do the snack group. My whole day is just filled. I love to interact with the students. All the kids call me grandma and that just makes me feel so special. I love asking them how their day is going. That's the best part of my day is seeing the children. This might be my last year. I'm going to miss this so much. If I can make them smile one time a day, that's my goal. They hit me in my heart. I'm Renee and I'm a Red Hawk.
