It started when I was drinking warm delight. Then my sister and my cousin asked me if I wanted to go. It took a while until we found the hill and each took a turn going down. We decided that we should have a race. We each took a turn to make it pass quicker. The type of race that
you would all take a turn. When it was my turn to go down the hill, I started by jumping onto the sled. I was I was past the tree. They blurred together. But when I looked forward, I realized I was heading to a wood that we that we used when we made a campfire. All of a sudden, everything slow down. I closed my eyes. I closed my eyes and heard a thump. My head was booming in pain. I opened my eyes and everything was blurry. That's when I went back inside. Told my told my mom I enjoyed my hot chocolate comfort. I got lucky. Or maybe my head is just thick. I don't I only got a day. My lesson that I learned was to never jump in a sled to make it go. My

I'll tell you why. warm snowy cold winter day, my brother, sister, and I went to my cousin's house. Once we got there, we went inside and hung out for a little bit. After that, we all we got all our snow gear on and went outside and grabbed the the thick plastic black long sled. After that, we walked into an ginormous hill. We all went down the hill one by one for like an hour straight. When we went down, a bunch of snow went into our coats and shirts. It was so cold. After After all that, we went in inside and it was so warm. We made hot cocoa and mud cakes. They were so delicious.
After that, we we went in the in and washed it Christmas night. Last, we all went back outside and we got the sled again, but this time it was different. We walked back to the really big hill and tried to get get in at once. Eventually, we got on. We started going down slowly. Then we finally went faster. Push. We went down the hill. But I jumped out because I thought my brother was going to do something. He's sneaky like that. Good thing I did because they they ran into a tree. I could feel the pain inside me. That day I learned to never trust my brother. My name is Ari and I'm going to be reading sledding with my brother. I walked outside and all I could see was fresh and cushy snow. My
dad hopped a big sled to his snowmobile and my brother and I hopped in a sled. Jed sat in the front and I sat in the back of the sled. Then my dad turned on his snowmobile and started driving around the property. A couple hours later, my dad asked if he wanted to go faster. Me and my brother screamed, "Yes." He went back to the he went to the backyard and it was so bumpy and rocky. He started going faster and faster. Then he turned the snowmobile and it flew off. I started laughing so hard. My hat flew off somewhere. My face was covered in snow and my face was numb. I still had to stay. My brother was or my dad was concerned about me flying off this the snowmobile and asked if I
was okay, but I was fine. My dad hooked us Then my dad hooked us up to my dog Zena. She is black with white name and with silky fur. She is a husky with and she's extremely fast and she started running as fast as she could. But my brother and I had a blast. I think my lesson learned to be very Awesome. My name is Sophia Bates and I'm going to be reading The How at Night. It was a glorious glimmering night, the perfect time to go sledding. My older brother Colton and I burst out the door. I always rode in my brother's sled to get to the hill. I kept my hands in the sled. They felt warm and cozy in my mittens. When we got there, Colton went down the hill first to
smooth the snow. Then we went down together, making millions of tracks as the snow blew into my face. Colton went down to the middle of the hill saying, "I'm going to make a ramp. It was amazing. I went down and flew off the packed up icy hello snow. I screamed and laughed as I slid crazily across the hill. We took turns until the snow flattened. Holton made another little one while I sled, but I slid off the hill into into a tree. I smiled fresh pine as the snow toppled on top of me. Colton pulled me back in a sled as I sat on my knees. We were about to set foot on the icy road when I heard it. A noise like a quiet howler. We both stood still when we heard it. Stared
into the bushes, then screamed. Come on, let's go. Colton said, then zoomed across the road, still pulling the sled. I already learned this, but I got more evidence that I have a pretty great Our first song is called friendship and holiday for all. Then we will be switching things up from singing to we've been working hard and music. Please enjoy. Amen. Listen. be happy. in the air. Windmare through the winter. 012two years ago. It was a chiller day. It was more white than yellow that day. The perfect day for sledding. I was sledding with my sisters for about a half an hour. I could feel the ice cold snow on my face. I was filled with warm winter joy. But my sister snowy warm hot cocoa. So they went and my warm winter joy became cold winter joy. So, I got an old wooden broken tobog and I went down a hill. I couldn't steer, so I crashed. I could feel the burning sting in my shoulder. I got up and saw I had crashed into a tree. I dragged my sled up the hill. It felt like driving an anvil. After 5 minutes, I made it up the hill. I went inside and had I told my mom
everything. I learned it to never slight without friends or family. >> Hello, my name is Rebecca and my story is called Off the Hill Into the Lake. Swish, swish, swish, swish. The noise of my snow and co almost block the sound of the wind as I sight. As we touched around our house, I thought of just the options. We could shed not ideal. We could we could shed some we could some not optimal. We could also basically go into which was probably best option. The thoughts were ded into our island. 5 minutes later, we were starting to get the hang of jumping off a blue and sauc before we hit the twinkling blue water. Look, it's snowing. I called. Soon the snow got heavier and blanketed the grind wall. We tedd back up the hill,
jumped on our sled, and went down. This time, our sled wanted off the SP seconds later we lined the lake. I felt almost solid and to make mad you could see dad laughing his head off a perfectly warm. I I go to the house and thankfully time seemed had happened so she was making us some hot chocolate. "Hello, Bles have the lake." My dad said smuggly walking into the loom. Fine. We complied together with mathematical. This is why I always check my sliding. [applause] >> My name is Cora Frankenberger and I will be doing a snowy sled ride. It was a chilly winter afternoon. I was so excited to jump in the freshly fallen smell. I went outside with my mom and naked my circular sled out of the crammed corner of the porch. It
was a oneperson sled, but I had gone with two people before. I went to to the steepest part of the hill and placed it down. My mom sat on and and I gave the sled a push. I jumped on with the back and we were off. The sled whizzed down the hill. I was not ready for what was going to happen. We were flying down the hill so fast I spray. [snorts] I started slipping off. So I laid down and clung it to my mom to stay on. Snow started spraying in my face and before I knew it, my face was entirely covered in the icy snow. It was the coldest thing I had ever felt. When the sled came to a stop, I got off. My face felt almost like it was burning because
of the freezing snow. After that, we went inside and got some hot chocolate.
